generally lukewarm take here but ii s1 was...weird, it was good in some senses but in other senses it was......ehhhhhhhhhhhh- yknow? I mean Paper's entire arc to begin with- I think we all know why that was..yeah but theres also early s1 being...i mean we all have rough starts when making object shows but I also gotta admit the justin beiber censor thing was hilarious I'm sorry but also like- bits were good- it was like 2012 and it is..aged I guess- yeahii s1 is just a mix of aged and has some jokes that aged in an even worse way- yeah- idk where I was going with this I just kinda :/ - 🎒

apart from like. the slurs and paper's arc it's fine I guess. oj sucks though bomb was hated by the creators and it shows.

25.10.20 | Days of Productivity [25/100]

It was a rather successful day, I think. I managed to spend 2 hours on my thesis (still in the research phase) and completed my goal of working through 3 sources. Yeahii.

I also met a friend for coffee and a walk. Ended the day with dinner and some really good conversations. Talking to this friend in particular always makes me feel better - we can talk about anything, be it theory or feelings, or a mix of both.

Days of Productivity [67/100]

It's been gray and white inside and outside today as it got to -8°C (17°F) and it didn't make it past 0°C. So I dressed in a thousand layers as the heating inside the buildings here is always off, always too hot or too cold.

I enjoyed an hour of complete and utter silence at the library when I made it there for 10am (yeahii). Not entirely sure why I got there this early, as my Tuesdays are already long enough with classes from 12pm-9pm but I did make a little progress with my thoughts on Cavendish and her theory of atoms (which I will kind of translate into a theory of gender in one of my papers).

Zickereien oder kleinere Streits über Social Media zu klären ist keine gute Idee. Weiß jeder, keiner hält sich dran. Darum frage ich oft Freunde und Schwester um Rat bei heiklen Auseinandersetzungen, aber auch das scheint keine gute Idee zu sein. Zu viele Meinungen helfen noch verwirrter zu sein oder eh schon kleines Selbswertgefühl schrumpfen zu lassen. Freunde meinen ich soll Meinung klar sagen. (Genau das, was man hören will.) Schwester sagt, ich soll es nicht so persönlich nehmen. (Genau das, was man nicht hören will, da Welt eh großer persönlicher Jungel für jedes Individuum ist mit eigenen Lianen-schwingenden Gesetzen.) Also was tun? Habe kein eigenes gutes Lianengesetz in solchen Momenten. Und zu ungeschickt in Erfinden eines solches.

Habe wieder gute, alte Methode des Ignorierens angewandt und beschlossen erst einmal Streit zu ignorieren. Nicht sehr effektiv für Langzeitproblemlösung, doch fühlt sich gut im Moment an. Gute Laune durch gute Musik wieder hergestellt. (Yeahii) Und viel Essen. (Doppel Yeahii)

Zurück von langem Abend mit Freunden. Heute Vorsätze viel besser eingehalten und Resultat ist ein ruhigerer Kopf. Keine Gedanken über mögliche, peinliche Situationen meinerseits. Wurde auch nicht offen ausgelacht. Gute Arbeit! 

Habe sogar Auseinandersetzung über soziale Medien klären können. (Sehr gute Tagesbilanz.) Habe einfach das geschrieben, was mir durch den Kopf ging. (Das ich gerade keine Antwort darauf weiß.) Positive Reaktion kam zurück. Manche nennen es ein kleiner Schritt für die Menschheit. Ich nenne es einen großen Sprung in eine andere Galaxie.

Stretching out like a cat to work out some of the delicious ache in your muscles from last night’s activities reveals the other side of the bed is empty, but still warm. You rise and hunt around for something to wear, finding a plush navy blue robe which you pull on and belt around your waist.

Day 9 of 100 Days of Productivity

I managed to finish my presentation of providence in early modern England. Yeahii. Managed to lose my student ID and therefore, eating so much that I, again, upset my tummy (there's no logic in this reaction, but I'm an emotional eater). Hoping that one day I'll find out what normal eating behavior is. I'm hoping for sometime soon because what I'm doing right now is super unhealthy.

Nonetheless, the presentation is finished. I got in 10k steps, called my parents and decided to definitely apply for a PhD here, even if I dislike the city.

New week tomorrow. New goals, new chances. I'll try to remember: I'm a work in progress. Things take time. I'm doing good most of the time.

100 Days of Productivity [6/100]

I had to read these two beauties today, or at least that was my plan. Both (only have to read Quicksand) are for my 'Narratives on Black Love and Kinship' class. My professor also assigned 30 pages of secondary literature for the next class, like all of this for ONE class. However, since I got up way too late, met my history professor for coffee and being just really tired - I only managed to read Hurston and about 70 pages of Quicksand. So, I guess I'll spend my whole weekend at the library (still have to reread The Tempest, write response paper for it, read 100 pages on providence in early modern England and prepare a presentation, read on 3rd Wave Feminism +reading reflection). But, I also submitted an article for my home university's web page, did some grocery shopping and talked to my history professor about my PhD plans.

(On another note: I went to the gym at 8.00am yeahii (still too late) and my eating was okay. Just a bit too much for dinner but I skipped lunch/forgot to bring healthy snacks).
