These flashes of memory are annoying, and more confusing than helpful. Homework, bodies, Yagen... It’s strange, how they feel like memories, but nothing seems to quite fit. That’s not his life, and yet...

Well, it gives the mysterious voice on his phone some credibility, at least. He can’t rule out that the memories are false, either, but after having to spray down a ghostly version of himself with a broken toilet, he’s not exactly feeling skeptical about this one.

“...ya gotta be kiddin’ me.”

A fresh glance to his phone, and the dot that’s supposed to mark his double has moved outside the city. The last time he’d looked it was flitting about somewhere in Fibonacci--where he found himself wandering now, if a bit precariously.

That’s probably the problem. Being unfamiliar with the descent, travel is more than a little slow, on top of having no idea which level to even begin looking at. Jeez... but outside the city? Even with the new information on his phone, the idea of venturing too far is not a promising one.

At the very least, he won’t do it alone. Annoyed at this setback, he finds a spot out of the way of foot traffic to start typing a message.

FLOODER FLASHLIGHTS FALLING ON HIM REVEALED RED dripping for the tips of the icicles protruding from his arm. Proof of a brutal, yet short encounter not too long ago. Hand raised, he saw multiple human shapes forming a wall before him. The back wasn’t cut off yet, but he did not consider fleeing yet. One figure stood out from the rest, and also stepped forward. What a young human. Why was he with those others here?

Getting the two of them home was not an easy task, with Aysha unable to walk properly and Sand being very dead weight, it came up to Yagen and a very confused taxi driver to shove them both in the backseat of the cab. Getting them out again and into the house... That was a whole other story. 

But what matters now is that they’re all inside, Sand sprawled out on the sofa while Aysha sits on the floor, recounting the events of the night. 

“--He transformed back and that’s when I called you.” When she finishes her tale, she leans back against side of the sofa, resting her head on the other side of the arm rest that Sand’s head was on.

Rummaging through the culinary section at the book store, Souza’s finger sweeps by the various selection of cookbooks until one labeled Cakes & Creams catches his attention. In the midst of retrieving the softly hued volume from it’s shelf he hears the scuffle of shoes and a clattering sound not three feet away from his person. Glancing back to see what the commotion could be he sees the one person he’d been trying to avoid duck down in  reach for his glasses. 

Ah.

A miss chance when last they met! He tucks the book underneath his arm and swiftly strides towards the unknowing tantou and before he has a change to look up Souza steps on Yagen’s glasses. The crunch of shattered lenses and buckling frames underneath his sandal felt like it echoed throughout the store as a satisfied smile is quickly subdued behind his sleeve

Ice is entirely too icy. One would think that might go without saying, but Ryuko can’t remember the last time she had to handle such frigid temperatures. It’s not the cold that poses an issue so much as the tundra; she’s trying to pick her way across the frozen puddle with care, but her feet revolt, sending her legs splaying in different directions. Instinctively she twists, trying to regain her balance as she would during combat. It doesn’t help.

“Shit--” Down she goes in a flailing explosion of limbs, landing on her side hard enough to force the wind from her lungs.

“I heard you were a doctor of some note…”

Orion leaned forward and clasped his hands over his knees. He’d insisted on meeting in an office rather than an examination room, and he was pleased to see that it was suitably doctor-esque, complete with a potted plant in the corner.

“One that could cure even the most unusual afflictions!” With a flourish, he pushed his golden cellphone across the desk. There were notifications for several text messages, but it otherwise seemed perfectly normal.

“You see… a young woman has developed feelings for me, and I do not know how to cure them.”

Fudou still can’t quite decide if he regrets Yagen finding out. Maybe a little, because now that he’s chest-deep in a pool, he can already feel his stomach threatening to start doing backflips. At the same time, it’s still not as bad as he expected, partly thanks to the ability to cling onto Yagen while they wade through the water.

“You’re...sure I really need t’ learn this?”

They’ve gotten this far, but Fudou still has to ask just one more time. He knows Yagen isn’t prone to changing his mind, unless it’s suddenly dire, but hey, worth a shot...probably.

Either way, he momentarily contents himself with looping an arm around Yagen’s shoulder, chin gently resting on the one opposite while he comes to stand behind him. His eyes are still busy flitting over the rest of the water ahead, though, already silently grateful that no one else seemed to be around yet. At least that meant he wouldn’t end up kicking them, or something like that.

uhhhh idk honestly?? over 10 im sure but i get messed up if i try to count

uhhh ive been thinking about this but i think they’re all more or less social outcasts… in their own way, though granted Tanya’s goal is like total opposite of that but Tanya’s case is complicated but i do think he sort of self-isolated himself

nope! i honestly dont think whether other people would find the muse entertaining…??? its bigger issue how long *i* would find it entertaining laughs currently one such character is suya from maoujou

NNN i mean i usually end up going for whatever anime or manga im reading so  oftentimes japanese i guess but then uh…. ages i think tend to lean to adults but there’s its own fun writing kids i think
