Twins Tantrums and Tender Moments
So, I used @gemini-sensei & @sensei-venus, concept of the moskowitz twins and made, this
Hawk Moskowitz stood in the living room, watching in disbelief as his three-year-old twins, Maverick and Maya, turned the room into a whirlwind of chaos. Toys were strewn everywhere, and the two toddlers were in full meltdown mode. Maverick was wailing at the top of his lungs, clutching his favorite toy truck that had lost a wheel, while Maya was on the floor, kicking and screaming because her tower of blocks had toppled over.
"Hey, hey, what's going on in here?" Hawk's voice was firm but gentle, the tone he had perfected over the past few years.
You entered the room, eight months pregnant with your second child, and sighed deeply. "They've been at it for an hour now. I tried everythingâsnacks, stories, songsâbut nothing's working."
Hawk nodded and walked over to Maverick, kneeling down to his level. "Hey, buddy, what's the matter?"
Maverick sniffled and held up his broken truck. "My truck is broken, Daddy!"
Hawk took the truck and examined it, his heart aching at the sight of Maverick's tear-streaked face. "You know what, Maverick? I bet we can fix this together. How about we try that?"
Maverick nodded, hiccuping between sobs. Hawk gave him a reassuring smile and set the truck aside for a moment. He then turned to Maya, who was still crying on the floor.
"Princess, what's wrong with your blocks?" he asked softly.
"My tower fell down, Daddy! It was so tall, and now it's gone!" Maya wailed, her little fists pounding the carpet.
Hawk gathered Maya in his arms, holding her close. "It's okay, Maya. We can build an even taller tower together. How about that?"
Maya's cries began to subside as she buried her face in Hawk's shoulder. You watched the scene with a mixture of exhaustion and admiration, grateful for Hawk's patience and tenderness.
After a few minutes, Maverick and Maya were calmer, sitting on the floor with Hawk as he helped Maverick fix his truck and Maya rebuild her tower. The room, once filled with chaos, was now filled with quiet concentration and the occasional giggle.
Once the truck was fixed and the tower was rebuilt, Hawk pulled both twins into a big hug. "See? We did it together. You two are amazing."
You walked over and joined the family hug, resting your head on Hawk's shoulder. "Thank you, Hawk. I don't know what I'd do without you."
He kissed the top of your head. "We're in this together, always."
As the evening wore on, the twins eventually drifted off to sleep, worn out from their tantrums and the excitement of fixing their toys. You and Hawk tucked them into bed, their tiny faces peaceful and content.
Back in the living room, you collapsed onto the couch with a sigh of relief. Hawk sat beside you, his arm around your shoulders. "We survived another day," he said with a chuckle.
You laughed softly and leaned into him. "Yeah, we did. And with another one on the way, it's only going to get crazier."
Hawk placed a hand on your swollen belly, his eyes filled with love and anticipation. "Bring it on. I can't wait to meet our new little one and see what adventures they bring."
You smiled, feeling the baby kick in response to Hawk's touch. "Me neither."
As you both sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, the exhaustion of the day caught up with you. Hawk leaned back, and you rested your head on his chest, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing. Slowly, your eyes grew heavy, and before long, you both drifted off to sleep, finding peace and comfort in each other's embrace.

I'm so bad for this but @gemini-sensei I can't stop cackling over this.
(Smut)
Imagine Pregnant!Omega!Reader having an undying craving for doughnuts thought the whole pregnancy. Like that is what she wants 24/7. She's waking her alpha/a up every other night to go to the 24-hour doughnut place. Shes all teary eyed as she begs them go please go get her some or to please take her.
Two in the morning and the sun isn't even up. The poor street lights mixed with the bad doughnut place lighting, and there is just a huge pregnant Omega!Reader stuffing her face sitting on the curb as her alpha/s are buying her another dozen to take home. She passes out on the way home in the back seat, half-eaten donut in her hand.
But it isn't just any kind of doughnut she wants.
She wants cream and custard-filled ones.
Something about the ďżźgooey ďżźinside makes her and the pup/s go crazy. Her insides get all kinds of flutters once the warm cream hits her tongue. If she let herself she could probably eat them every day. But of course, she paces herself and her alphas pry them out of her fingers every chance they can when it gets to be too much. She whines and moans but she gets over it.
It's not until she's laying on their bed eating some when one of her alphas jokingly says-
âYou sure do like those Boston cream doughnuts, we should start calling you our little cream puff at this point.â
It's a light-hearted joke that has Reader pouting as she devours her last doughnut. Her alphas always have a way of teasing her ever so slightly. Just to rile her up a little bit.
That little nickname only made a huge change when once again Reader was laying in bed whining about not having any more of her sweet cravings in the house. The alpha makes the joke again and laughs a little. Reader just rolls her eyes as she looks down at her big bump, her hand caressing her swollen bellyďżź.
âYeah well I wouldn't be âstuffedâ if it wasn't for you at this point. I'm full of cream at this point.â the statement is made out of annoyance ďżźbut the alpha doesn't take it that way. Suddenly he's smirking at the clearly oblivious ďżźomega.
Cut to Reader face down in her pillows doggy style while she squeals and screams out. Her poor pregnant cunt was pounded wide open by her alpha. Her whole body is shaking as they thrust into her spasming pussy. Legs shaking and thighs clenching. Heavy belly being held up by a mount of pillows underneath her. She bits into her pillow and her eyes roll back as she creams around the alpha's fat cock. Squeezing like a vice.
Next minute the alpha is thrusting one last time and spraying a nice warm load into her little pussy. After their done and every fat drop is done they slowly pull out, thick dick covered in a nice layer of mixed cream. The head leaves with a nice pop and her hole winks at them. Reader whimpers, the feeling of nice thick cum starting to spill from her abused hole has her shivering. She whimpers louder.
âSee now your âdouble stuffedâ , full and fat with pups and a nice fat creampie in that fat little pussy~â they chuckle in her ear before kissing her neck.

see now that sounds like hell đ which is why i'm glad to be an only child (yeah we have the same dad. i don't talk to him either, unless i need money)
when you said you had a sister, i thought you were like my best friend, even though her parents are separated, since we were teenagers, i thought you were the younger sister and your parents were married, but seeing how you talk about him, some things make sense... is she much younger than you she must be pre-teen, so try a little, because maybe she won't look for you...
it's different with me. i think that since i was in my mom's belly, i never felt connected to my dad, even though the three of us are daughters of the same parents. i always thought that my older sister was close to my dad. when i was younger, we didn't have the best relationship (except for pedro, i always get a little suspicious, when i see that the guy is an aries, my dad is), it always seemed like something was a reason for an argument. let's just say that i'm not a saint, and at the time i was a teenager, like i never argued with my mom. but nowadays, i don't have daddy issues. despite what my dad told me about my mom being pregnant with me, nowadays, i've learned not to care too much, because the relationship improved after my sisters left home...
me being a gemini also helps me to be colder anyway

31 - Raelyn Let Loose
Part 32
Gemini Runaway
Tag list ask to be added @dragonixfrye @secretdreamlandmentality
Walking through the woods at a lake house ground I could hear everything around me. It had been a few days since everyone in the town I cared about had to get up in arms about me turning my humanity off. Shoving some Cheetos in my mouth it was hard carrying one baby let alone three. My phone rang where I saw it was Rebekah. âWhy are you dodging my phone calls?â
âYou know the answer to that. Because you betrayed me and oh yeah I donât give a crap.â I snapped back at my blonde original friend.
She sighed through the phone, turning on the video call so we could see each other. âRealyn, Iâm sorry about the intervention the other day but we are just concerned about you. You arenât meant to be a monster like we have been.â
âI already became one the night I killed Jacob. The only difference now is that I donât have to feel all the guilt that came with it. Hey, would you be able to find me any cute outfits for my pregnant belly when I become fat as a balloon. Because your brother's shirts are starting to become tight.â I responded to her shaking the bag in front of the camera.
âLook, we can go on a shopping spree if you will just turn your humanity back on. I miss seeing you and the miracle babies deserve to know their auntie Bex.â She spoke to me, throwing her hair in front of her eyes.
Rolling my eyes at her someone vamped behind me making me glance over my shoulder seeing the hybrid. âRebekah, I've gotta call you back. Your brother is here to be a pain in my ass. What do you want, Nik?â Placing my phone in my back pocket I glared at him.
âWhen I let you go the other day I didnât expect you to come out here for food. I would have assumed you head back to New Orleans seeing that vampires rule the city.â He pointed out to me slowly walking forward.
Whipping fully around to face him I stomped up until we saw the other's face still glaring at him intensely. âI figured you would look there so I went somewhere I didnât think you would be here, so why the hell are you following me, traitor?â
âIâm not following you out of concern if that is what you are asking. And I wish that you wouldnât look at me like I betrayed your trust. You lied to me too by not telling me you flipped the switch.â He responded back at me reaching up with his hand to touch my cheek.
Snatching his wrist in mine I pushed his hand down. âTell me why you are really here now or Iâll snap your neck!â
âI am here to see if Jeremey Gilbert has killed anyone vampires. He needs to grow his mark to find the cure. So when he does I can destroy it so itâs not used on me.â He explained.
Knitting my brows at him. âCure to what. What exactly donât I know?â
âThe cure to vampirism, Raelyn.â He spoke back at me simply.
Snapping off at him I didnât like that now since I was a vampire he was keeping things from me. I thought if anything our lives would be easier when I turned but that doesnât seem to be the case. âAnd why am I just now hearing about this supposed cure. Are you just a complete liar now since I am a vampire?â
âYou were passed out in transition when all of this started coming to the surface.â Klaus slumped his shoulders running his fingers through his messy curls. âI was so terrified that I didnât feed you my blood in enough time. Wherever you were before you came back. Iâve never been there so I donât know. You just need to tell Raelyn that I havenât lied to you.â
Crossing my arms over my chest I huffed taking a few steps away from him. âAre you going to use the cure on me if they manage to get it?â
âNo. Never a chance in hell. I have seen inside your mind sweetheart. I donât wish for you to be so afraid of living every day. But I do wish that you would come back to me. Being a vampire without your humanity wonât be good when the babies are born. If you wonât do it for me, do it for them.â He raised his hands like I had offended him so how which took me by surprise.
Tapping my boot on the ground I reached for my phone heading in the direction of the lake house dialing Rebekah back. "I'll think about it but I need blood and I'm gonna call Rebekah and find out what's going on with this cure? Hey Bex, care to fill me in on this whole cure thing."
"Raelyn, of course darling. I actually have the whole gang here with me so you just have to watch." She turns on the video call again showing me that she was in a library holding Stefan, Elena, Caroline and a girl I didn't know. "You've all been compelled. You know the rules. Answer my questions honestly, no disobedience, no one leaves. April, my sweet, take notes. This is how you get answers in this town. Let's start with a little quiz. In the year 1114, my brother learned... thanks to yours truly... About a brotherhood of vampire hunters with tattoos that grew with each kill. And these tattoos reveal what? Elena?"
Elena replied. "A map."
Rebekah turns towards the other blonde. "Which led to, Caroline?"
Caroline has her arms crossed over her chest. "A cure for vampirism."
"Perfect. We're all caught up. Stefan Salvatore, the last time we saw each other, you had a vampire hunter, but in order to decode the map, you needed the location of the hunter's sword, which you got out of me using some very dirty tricks assuming you found the sword, you must have found the cure, and yet you're all still vampires, which means something went wrong." I noticed the April girl writing making her pause. "What are you doing?'
April said, sitting her pencil down. "You asked me to take notes."
"I wasn't being literal, darling. But now that you mention it, a flow chart would be nice, which means index cards and push pins. Go fetch." Bex sent her away.
Stefan grumbled under his breath. "You're wasting your time. We don't know anything."
Rebekah flipped her hair over her shoulders. "So you just gave up? I thought you'd do anything to save Elena, even if it meant taking the cure yourself so you could grow old and die with her. Why do you look so surprised? I'm missing something. What is it?"
Caroline threw her hands. "They broke up, okay? Now let us go."
Rebekah made a face and I rested my chin in the palm of my hand. "Wait. I'm confused. I thought Elena was your epic love, Stefan. I asked you what happened, and you have to tell me."
Stefan muttered. "She slept with Damon."
"Oh dang and here I thought I was the only girl who liked the bad boys. Hey, I gotta go." Turning my head I watched Klaus walking back in the direction of Damon sitting in front of a burning fire until I called his name. "Nik!"
"So you're talking to me now hmm. What do you need, love?" He asked me to shoving his hands in the pockets of his jacket.
Rising to my feet I put my hands behind my back walking up to him smirking. "The real question is what can I do for you. Since Bex just told me Jeremy has to kill vampires and I am rather hungry. Aren't I right that there's a bar down the road?"
"Come with me, Rae." He whispered, leading me to the fire.
Damon said, feeling us standing there. "If you're here for payback, go for it. But you'll be stuck baby-sitting the little hunter that could."
Klaus sat down pointing to the knife he was cutting a stick with. "You know... If you adjust your angle a little bit, you'll find a sharper edge."
Damon made a face. "I know how to whittle. Thanks. Now I know why those hybrids hated you. You are annoying."
"Not as annoying as you can be according to Caroline." I teased him.
Klaus shrugged his shoulders. "Actually, I'm just perplexed as to why Jeremy hasn't killed any vampires."
"Darwinism, Klaus. He needs to be able to protect himself before we hunt down his first vampire nest." The raven haired vampire said.
Leaning my back against one of the trees I shook my head seeing Klaus glancing back at me before focusing on him. âAnd here was I, thinking you were the fun brother. Well, let's play a little game, shall we? Jeremy needs more victims, and there's a whole town of people down the road just waiting to be turned into vampires for the slaughter.â
Damon asked, moving his knife not meeting his gaze. âYou don't think that occurred to me, Klaus?â
âThe tragedy is, Damon, it did occur to you, yet you chose to ignore it. And my guess is you did it to impress Elena. Somehow, to honor her, you'll find a way to spare innocent lives and walk Jeremy down the moral high road.â Klaus turned around staring at me waving me over.â Raising a brow at him leaning down where he leaned his head into my ear taking my fingers where he traced my fingers against his neck sending me a hidden message meaning to go find the bar and wait for him. âThat's why I've already made the necessary corrections.â
Damon questions him before Klaus vamps away, not answering him, finding me waiting outside the bag for him since I had vamped away before he could notice that I was gone.â What did you do?â
Klaus pushed the door open for me to see a whole bar filled with people and I could hear all their hearts ringing in my ear. âWhy bring me here if you know I will drain them dry?â
âBecause I have already fed them my blood. So when you kill themâŚâ He trailed off with a smirk on his face watching my reaction.
Wrapping my arms around his neck I kissed him for the first since I had turned into a hybrid. âThey will be in transition to be vampires. You are brilliant and so hot right now. Iâd say I always had a thing for the bad boys.â
âI knew that about you before you turned, Raelyn. Now before the boys get here I suggest that we start this little show. Ladies first.â He gestured with his hands out in front of him before I vamped forward onto a guys back sinking my fangs into his neck draining him quickly.
Grabbing two girls by their necks I held them down drinking from one after the others throwing my hair around in a mess. It all became too much for me to not just see blood everywhere where I started vamping around like a madwoman. Klaus the whole time was just standing by the bar watching both turned on and sick to his stomach by how much his former witch was enjoying herself. He never imagined this fate for his love. Losing her twin brother took more of a toll on her then he was ever capable of understanding.
Ripping my fangs into half of their necks I pulled back letting blood drip down my chin. He reached up, taking some off of me moving his other hand to my neck. I watched his eyes flash gold nuzzling his nose into my neck whispering. "I want you to know that it pains me to see you like this. I want nothing more than to find pleasure seeing you like this. But my heart canât allow that in.â
âYou only feel horrible because you have your humanity on. So why not just turn it off with me huh. Weâve got time before these babies come out of my belly. So turn it off with me, together forever." I smirked before he hooked my legs around my waist, vamping me against the wall kissing me hungrily. Everything felt right, his hands and lips on mine. Blood mixing together where he started kissing my neck slowly. I gasped, gripping his locks in my fingers, throwing my head back.
The bar door opened and the three others entered before he ever gave me an answer where we sat down back at the bar clinking our glasses of blood together. âI was beginning to worry you boys wouldn't find the place.â
Jeremy gasped. âWhat the hellâŚ?â
Matt sounded frightened and I could hear his heartbeat faster. âDid you kill all these people?â
Klaus explained downing his drink and getting some alcohol in his next glass since I couldnât have any being pregnant. âNot exactly. They're in transition. killing them is your job.â
Jeremy looks at Damon. "You said you were going to convince Klaus to do this another way."
"I thought about it. And then I realized his idea was better." Damon responded looking over at Nik and I as he smirked, raising a shot glass in his hand.

Oh Brother
Pairing: Peter Parker x Flashâs sister!reader
Requested by @forlaughingoutl0ud : Peter has a crush on you, despite how much your brother torments him
Masterlist
Flash was known to torment Peter.
You, being Flashâs sister, were known to defend Peter from your brothers antics.
âMorning, Penis Parker.â Flash came up to Peter at his locker. âWhat did you have for breakfast this morning? Food stamps?â
Before Peter could respond, you appeared behind Flash and grabbed his ear.
âOw! Ow ow ow ow!â He whined as you pulled him by the ear, dragging him away from Peter. Peter watched you with a smile as you dragged your brother away.
âLetâs go.â You sighed. âIf youâre late to homeroom, Mrs. Weiss is gonna send a note home. Again.â
It was an every day occurrence.
âNice shoes, Parker.â Flash snorted. âDumpster diving is so amazing these days, isnât it?â
âOh my God, youâre so funny.â You whipped around in your seat and narrowed your eyes at your brother. âTell us another one. Please?â
He liked it to keep it consistent.
âCan anyone tell me what this number is?â Your teacher asked as she wrote the digits of Pi, 3.14, on the board.
âItâs Parkerâs annual income.â Flash called out, earning a few laughs.
âWhy is it that no one ever wants to hear you speak and yet youâre always talking?â You piped up in Peters defense. The class âooedâ at your comeback and Peter smiled shyly to himself.
âWhatever.â Flash scoffed. âYou look fat today.â
âIâm sorry, Peter.â You directed your attention to Peter. âHeâs a little cranky this morning.â
âItâs okay.â He smiled sheepishly. You smiled back and shot him a wink before turning around in your seat.
And that was when Peter realized he was whipped for you.
âCan anyone tell me what an impulse is?â The teacher asked the class one day. âYes, Flash?â
âItâs something you really want to do and have no control over.â Flash answered. âLike when I give Peter a wedgie during gym class, I did it on an impulse. That means I canât be held responsible.â
âNo.â The teacher signed. âCan anyone else tell me what it is? Yes, Peter?â
âA change in momentum.â Peter said, just a little smugly. âFt equals mv minus mu.â
âThank you, Peter.â The teacher smiled. âThatâs right.â
âI was technically also right.â Flash spoke up. âYou didnât specify what context it was in.â
âThis is a physics class.â You laughed. âThatâs your context.â
âWhatever. You donât have to defend him just because he has a giant crush on you.â Flash shot back and the class reacted accordingly. It was common knowledge that Peter had feelings for you and Flash liked to use that to his advantage.
âWhat? No I donât.â Peter stammered. âThat would be stupid.â
âWhy would it be stupid?â You looked at him curiously, sending a flush across his face.
âLadies and gentlemen. Can we get back to the lesson, please?â Your teacher asked through a tight smile. âYou three can sort this out in your free time.â
âLucky for us, Peter never has anything but free time.â Flash taunted. âBeing poor really opens up your schedule.â
âLeave him alone, Eugene.â You snapped. âThis is why mom doesnât love you.â
âShe does too!â Flash took the bait. âYouâre the adopted one.â
âI know.â You shrugged smugly. âOur parents chose me. You were just an unfortunate accident.â
âMy existence is not unfortunate.â He stated.
âArenât you a Gemini?â You raised an eyebrow.
âYes.â He said.
Iâm a Gemini too Iâm so sorry
âThen yeah, it is.â You scrunched your nose. The class stopped laughed at Peter and directed their attention to Flash. Peter looked at you in amazement and you winked at him.
âThompsons.â The teacher interrupted. âI want you out of this class. Both of you. Now.â
You glared at your brother angrily as you grabbed your bag and headed towards the door.
âThis is all your fault.â He growled at you as he opened the door.
âOh, please.â Your argument was muffled as you made your way down the hallway.
Peterâs leg bounced in anticipation as he waited for the bell to ring, springing out of his seat as soon as it did. He immediately went to your locker, where you were busy putting your books away. Peter took a deep breath before he approached you, nervously making the first move.
âHey.â He spoke up, making you turn your head in his direction. You shot him a smile that heated his entire face up.
âHey, Peter.â You greeted. âDid I miss anything fun in physics?â
âNot really.â He shrugged. âUnless you like learning about momentum.â
âYou know what, Peter? I canât say I do.â You chuckled as you took a notebook out of your locker.
âThanks for sticking up for me before. Iâm sorry you got kicked out of class.â
âDonât be sorry.â You shook your head and shut your locker. âIt was totally worth it to put Flash in his place. Plus, Iâm totally gonna dip his toothbrush in the toilet later. Walk with me.â
He began to walk with you out of school and in the direction of the residential buildings.
âDo siblings do that?â He wondered. âIâm an only child.â
âAre you? Youâre so lucky.â You sighed. âDo you know how many times Iâve fallen into the toilet because he left the seat up?â
âYeah, thats never happened to me.â He laughed gently. âI take it you guys donât get along.â
âItâs weird with siblings.â You shrugged. âOne minute we hate each other, the next minute weâre talking about the stupid games we used to play on long car rides. Thereâs no way to describe it.â
âI canât imagine living with him. Itâs hard enough to spend 8 hours a day with him. No offense.â He added quickly.
âNone taken.â You smiled at him. âItâs not fun to live with him. The amount of times Iâve walked into the bathroom after him and choked on his body spray is unacceptable. I think heâs trying to kill me.â
âI would be very upset if he did that.â Peter said softly.
âDid what?â
âKilled you.â He looked at you and held your gaze for a moment. You smiled shyly at each other before looking straight ahead.
âWhat did you mean before when you said it would be stupid to have a crush on me?â You wondered out loud.
âOh, I donât know.â Peter rubbed the back of his neck. âFlash has just been bullying me since first grade. It would be stupid if the girl I decided to pine after was his sister.â
âI donât think that would be stupid.â You shrugged as you snuck a glance at him. Peter blinked in surprise as he made eye contact with you. You both stopped, standing alone in an alleyway now.
âYouâŚyou donât?â He looked at you shyly.
âNot at all.â You shook your head slowly as you took a step closer to him. Peter looked at his shoes for a moment as he gathered some courage, just enough to do what heâd been meaning to do for years now.
âWould you wanna go out sometime then?â He blurted. âLike, on a date?â
âIâd love to.â You smiled. âYou still have my number from that group project right?â
âYeah.â He nodded, still swimming from the fact your said yes.
âThen you should text me.â
âI will.â He promised.
âGood. I have to walk back to school before Flash notices Iâm gone. Iâll be waiting for that text.â You winked at him and he let out a flustered laugh. You took this as an opportunity to lean forward and press a kiss to his cheek, feeling his skin heat up beneath your lips. You pulled away and squeezed his hand before leaving him alone in the alley.
Yeah, he was definitely whipped.
âPenis Parker.â Flash slammed an open hand against the lockers next to Peter the following day. âDo you want to tell me why I kept seeing your name on my sister phone last night? Why were you texting her? Are you trying to colonize my families bloodline or something? No white men allowed.â
âWhat? And no.â Peters face heated up at the accusation. âWeâre just friends.â
âYou donât have friends.â Flash snapped.
âYes he does.â You appeared behind your brother and pushed him lightly. âThatâll be all, thank you.â
Flash narrowed his eyes at you before returning his attention to Peter.
âIf you go near my sister again, Iâm gonna turn your innie belly button into an outie.â Flash whispered.
âHow?â Peter asked with genuine curiosity.
âYou donât want to find out.â He said through gritted teeth before storming away.
âHeâs so annoying.â You rolled your eyes and leaned against Peters locker. âYou look cute today.â
âThanks.â Peter chuckled shyly as he looked down at his outfit. âI, um, I have a dilemma.â
âIs this about our date?â You worried.
âItâs just, your family is rich and my family is just me and my aunt. I know Flash makes a lot of jokes about me being poor, but theyâre not really jokes.â He explained sheepishly. âI donât think I can give you the kind of magical date you deserve.â
âPeter, I donât need a fancy date. I just want to be with you.â You assured him as you stroked his cheek. âWhy donât you bring your favorite snack and Iâll bring my favorite drink and we can lay on top of your building and stargaze?â
âThat sounds kinda perfect.â He admitted with a sly smile.
âDoes tonight work?â You asked hopefully.
âYeah.â He nodded. âIâll text you my address.â
âOkay. Iâll see you in Physics.â You squeezed his hand before walking away.
You walked into your living room that night, all dressed up for your date. You stopped in front of a mirror to check your makeup, accidentally catches Flashâs eye.
âYou look nice.â Flash said as his eyes flicked from you to his phone. âBut you know, prostitution is still illegal in New York. Itâs a damn shame, though. Sex work is still work.â
âYou know, every once in a while, something intelligent comes out of your mouth. Gives me goosebumps every time.â You teased him as you applied your lipgloss.
âWait, where are you going?â He put his phone down. âItâs a Wednesday night.â
âIâm going to a friends building to look at the stars.â You told him most of the truth.
âAre you walking there?â
âYeah.â You shrugged. âItâs not that far.â
âLet me drive you. You have your mace on you, right?â He asked from the kitchen as he grabbed his keys.
âAlways.â
âOkay.â He reappeared with his keys. âLetâs go.â
You kept light conversation as you drove to Peters apartment building, careful not to reveal who you were meeting. Flash parked out front and looked at the building in disdain.
âYour friend lives here?â He grimaced. âIs she poor?â
âShut up. Those jokes arenât nice.â You shoved him lightly. âThanks for driving me.â
âItâs okay.â He nodded. âText me when I should pick you up.â
âI will. Get home safe.â You told him as you got out of the car.
âWhatever. Donât get pregnant.â He pointed at you. âI mean it.â
âDrive away.â You rolled your eyes as you shut the car door. You walked into the lobby and found the elevator, letting out a nervous breath as you got in. You were standing in from of Peters door in no time, anxiously waiting for him to open it.
Finally, he did.
âAre you ready to stargaze?â You asked as you held up a jug of apple juice.
âAre you ready to eat this entire box of goldfish?â Peter responded as he held up a carton of goldfish.
âYou know it.â You laughed and grabbed his hand. âLetâs go.â
An hour later, you were lying on your backs in opposite directions with your heads pressed together, staring up at the stars.
âI donât think thereâs anything more beautiful than a night sky.â You sighed in content.
âI know something.â Peter looked at you, though you were upside down from his perspective.
âIf you say me, Iâm going kick you in the throat.â You laughed as you looked at him.
âWhy?â He laughed as well.
âI donât know.â You covered your face with your hands. âIâm not good with compliments. I donât know how to respond.â
Peter turned his head so he was looking at you, eyes trailing over your side profile.
âI think youâre beautiful.â He told you, loving the way it made your draw drop. You rolled onto your side and looked at him before rolled on top. You rested your arms on either side of his face, admiring his face in the starlight, even if it was upside down. Your eyes flickered from his lips to his eyes and before he knew it, you were kissing him. He tilted his chin up so he could kiss you back, finding the position a little awkward as your nose bumped his chin. You both giggled into the kiss before continuing, only breaking away when you needed air. You flipped back on your back and let out a happy sigh, covering your face with your hand to hide your smile.
âThatâs one way to respond.â Peter joked, breaking the silence. You laughed and rolled onto your side, him doing the same.
âI really like you.â You admitted, scrunching your nose at how weird it felt to say out loud.
âI really like you too.â Peter told you before leaning in for another kiss.
And that was the beginning of your relationship. You both knew Flash could not find out that you were dating, at least not yet. You had to cave and tell him you and Peter were friends around your second month of dating after he caught him in your room, but you didnât tell him the full extent of your relationship. You disguised dates as casual hangouts, to which Flash heavily objected. He made his disliking for your âfriendshipâ with Peter known.
âUgh. You two.â Flash grumbled when he came into the kitchen to find you and Peter making cookies. You gave Peter a pointed look that told him to ignore your brother as Flash got food out of the pantry.
âCracker.â He looked at Peter with a box of snacks in his hands.
âNo thank you.â Peter said politely.
âI wasnât offering. I was insulting.â Flash blew him a kiss before putting a cracker in his mouth. Peter looked at you for help and you gave him a sympathetic smile.
âHow are you two friends?â He wondered. âYouâre the worst people on the planet.â
âI beg to differ.â Peter began. âI think-â
âThe beg.â Flash snapped before winking at Peter.
âWeâre friends because we have similar interest.â You shrugged as you stirred the ingredients. âFor example, weâre both very interested in you leaving the room.â
âWhatever. I was just making sure Parker doesnât steal anything.â Flash shot daggers at Peter as he got a drink from the refrigerator. You and Peter stood in silence until you were sure Flash was gone, sighing in relief when he disappeared.
âDo you think he knows?â You whispered to Peter out of the corner of your mouth.
âHe doesnât suspect a thing.â Peter shook his head before pulling you into a kiss.
This was how it continued for month. You posed as friends and dated in secret, never letting your brother know the truth.
âGuess who?â You felt hands cover your eyes from behind. You immediately recognized Peters voice and turned around in his arms.
âWhat are you doing here?â You looked at him with wide eyes. âFlash could walk in at any minute.â
âI wanted to surprise you.â He smiled. âHappy three month anniversary, princess.â
âHappy anniversary, lover.â You smiled back at him before pulling him into a long kiss. For once, you didnât care if your brother walked in. All you cared about was Peter.
âI have something for you.â Peter smirked once he pulled away.
âWhat? You didnât have to get me anything.â You told him.
âCourse I did.â He shrugged as he took a small box out of his pocket. âItâs okay if you didnât get me anything.â
âI didnât say I didnât get you anything.â You winked at him before disappearing into your closet. You returned with a large carton of Goldfish with a bright red bow on it.
âGoldfish!â He lit up. âYou remembered.â
âOf course I did, lover. How could I forget the taste of your goldfish breath the first time I kissed you?â You teased him as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
âWell you mustâve like it since youâve come back for more everyday since.â He shot back before kissing you. âOpen yours.â
You took the box from him and opened it up, finding a hand maid needed bracelet with a moon decal that looked like Peter had carved himself.
âThe moon?â You looked up at him with a curious smile.
âItâs a waxing crescent. Thatâs what the moon looked like the night you kissed me. I have a matching one, see?â He held up his wrist to show you his bracelet. You stated at it for a moment before your eyes went back to his gift.
âPeter.â You mumbled without taking your eyes away from the bracelet.
âDo you like it?â He bit his lip as he waited for your reaction. You looked up at him with a grin before throwing your arms around his neck and squeezing him tightly.
âI love it.â You said into his ear. âThank you so much.â
âIâm so glad you like it.â He smiled at you for a moment before getting serious. As he was looking at you, he realized he had never trusted someone more. Something came over him that made him want to give you every thing he had, including his deepest secret.
âI have to tell you something. No, I, I want to tell you something.â He corrected. âIâve wanted to tell you for a while, actually. Um, this is so hard to say, wow.â
âItâs okay, Peter.â You put your hand in his face when you saw how flustered his was getting. âI love you too.â
Peterâs face drained of color at your confession as that was not at all what he was about to say.
âWhat?â He squeaked.
âI love you too.â You repeated, not understanding his confusion.
âThatâsâŚthatâs not what I was gonna say.â He blurted and your face fell.
âOh.â You withdrew your arms from around his neck, feeling embarrassment and disappointment all at once. Peter realized his mistake and tried to pull you back.
âNo, no.â Peter said quickly. âI was gonna tell you Iâm Spider-Man.â
âWhat?â You nearly screamed.
âBut I love you too! I love you so much.â He took your face in his hands and kissed you repeatedly.
âYouâre Spider-Man?â You pushed him away long enough to ask.
âYes. But more importantly, weâre in love!â He kissed you again. âHappy three months.â
âHappy three months.â You giggled between kisses.
You stood with Peter outside of school a few months later as you waited for Flash to come out.
âThis is my least favorite part of the day.â Peter pouted as he rubbed your hand with his thumb.
âWhy?â You tilted your head.
âI donât get to see you anymore.â He looked at you with a shy smile. You smiled back at his cuteness and pressed a kiss to his forehead.
âMarching band ends at 4 right? How about I come over after that? We can do anything you want.â You suggested as you played with the collar of his shirt.
âAnything I want?â He raised an eyebrow.
âYeah. Iâm feeling generous.â You shrugged. You were about to lean in to kiss him when you noticed your brother in the distance.
âOh no.â You sighed and stepped back from Peter. âDonât turn around.â
âHey Penis Parker.â Flash jumped behind Peter and smacked his butt before looking at you. âSup bitch.â
âHi Flash.â You smiled tightly at him.
âWhat are you losers taking about?â He asked. âHow youâre never gonna lose your virginities?â
You and Peter exchanged a knowing look and he turned his head to snort.
âWeâre talking about how grabbing peoples butts without their permission is sexual harassment.â You spoke up to cover Peters laugh.
âOh, really? Thatâs cool.â He smacked Peters butt again. âAre you ready to go? My car is on and sheâs ready to purr.â
âGod, I hate you.â You sighed. âIâll see you later, Peter.â
âSee you later. Bye.â He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your lips, entirely forgetting that Flash was there. Your eyes widened as Peter was about to walk away, but Flash held his hand up to stop him.
âHold up.â He looked at Peter. âWhat was that?â
Peter furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and looked at you, only realizing his mistake when he noticed your messed up lipstick. He let out a small gasp before looking at Flash, who was shaking with anger.
âUmâŚphysical affection?â Peter said weakly. You slammed your palm against your forehead and let out a sigh.
âThanks for the run down, Penis Parker.â Flash snapped. âYouâre dating my sister?â
âYeah, Flash.â You put a hand on Peters shoulder. âPeter and I are dating.â
âExcuse me a minute.â He held up and finger before bending down as if he was going to puke. âBLEH.â
You rolled your eyes as your brother continued to make puking sounds.
âI cannot stand this man.â You grumbled. Flash stopped for a moment and stood up, looking eerily composed.
âY/n, could you give Peter and I a minute to ourselves, please?â He said through a tight smile.
âUm, are you gonna kill him?â You scratched your ear as you looked between your fearfully boyfriend and your suspiciously calm brother.
âI havenât decided yet.â Flash said, never breaking his smile.
âDonât go.â Peter looked at you in fear.
âYouâll be okay.â You decided. âIâll be right over there.â
Flash waited until you walked away until he started interrogating Peter.
âHow long had this been going on?â Flash started out.
âSeven months.â Peter told him.
âIs it serious?â
âI love her.â Peter smiled shyly.
âGross.â Flash gagged. âDoes she love you back?â
âYes.â Peter nodded. âShe tells me everyday.â
âSo every time I drove into the slums of New York to drop her off at the cardboard box you call an apartment building, I was dropping her off at your place? I was hand delivering my sister to you?â Flash realized.
âYes.â Peter repeated. âAre you mad?â
âYou know whatâ,Flash let out a breath, âIâm okay.â
âYou are?â Peters jaw dropped a little. He had been expecting a beating, or at least a wedgie.
âYeah.â Flash put his hand on Peters shoulder and rubbed it. âShe couldnât be in better hands, Spiderman.â
He had whispered the last part, making all the blood drain from Peters face.
âHow did you-â
âI eavesdrop on people constantly.â Flash cut him off. âI canât stop. My therapist says itâs because I didnât get enough attention as a kid, but what does that bitch know? I overheard her husband on the phone telling her that their kid bit somebody again. Again! I never did that. The moon bracelet was a nice touch, by the way. She really likes it.â
âYou just told me way too much about you.â Peter blinked a few times as he processed what he just heard.
âNow weâre even.â Flash smirked and shot him a wink.
âAre you gonna tell anyone?â He asked nervously.
âCourse not. I would do anything for Spider-Man.â Flash stated firmly. âThat secret is safe with me. I am, however, gonna tell everyone that you and her are dating.â
âWhy?â
âBecause thatâs super embarrassing for her. Later, Parker.â He held out his hands for Peter to shake, pulling him in when their hands touched.
âSwing me around the city in your arms and I wonât kill you for dating my sister.â He whispered in Peters ear. Peter looked at him in fear as he walked away. You immediately ran up to Peter once your brother was gone and put a hand on his arm.
âWhat happened?â You asked. âAre you okay?â
âIâm fine.â Peter told you. âI think I have a date with your brother.â
âYou - huh?â You asked for clarification but Peter just shook his head.
âI donât know.â He sighed in defeat. âIâll text you after band practice.â
âYeah Iâll-â You were cut off by Flash honking his horn and calling your name.
âIâll text you later.â You grumbled and shot a look at Flash.
âOkay.â Peter kissed you before you began to walk away. âI love you.â
âI love you.â You called over your shoulder as you made your way to Flashâs car. Upon hearing this, Flash just had to chime in.
âI love you too Penis Parker!â

Episode Two: The Moonchild Chronicles
Title Pun/Reference: Ken Pendersâ The Lara-Su Chronicles
Focus Character(s): Leslie Moonchild
Abridged Description: In which we meet the leader of the Spirit Animal Sisters. That is all.
Monster(s) of the Day: Karakasa KozĹ
Trivia: Fuck Mr. Enter and his garbage take about 9/11 not being mentioned in Turning Red.
Last Episode |You are Here|Â Next Episode
âMy name is Leslie Moonchild. I am a mouse, and this is, like, the time I met three groovy girls.â
July 29, 20XX, sometime later. Mabel, having settled in Sweater Town, sat in front of a totem pole depicting a ram, two humans, a horse, and a lion. Ever since the previous day, everything she knew was a lie⌠at least thatâs what she believed, anyway. The girlâs alone time was interrupted by a mouse girl who happened to be passing by. She wore rose-tinted glasses, a beige vest over a tye-dye belly top, beige sandals, and jean shorts with holes in random spots. âBlessings, little one,â she greeted, âwhatâs the matter?â
âNothing youâd want to know about,â replied Mabel. âIâm just going through some stuff.â
"Yeah, I know how that feels; I used to have problems, too. Know what I did?â
âWhat?â
âI didn't, like, let it get to me, you know? That's what you should do. Now, what was that stuff you were going through?â
As Leslie and Mabel conversed, dark energy convened and swarmed an old umbrella of Grunkle Stanâs; from this darkness came a one-eyed umbrella monster wearing ancient Japanese clothing.
YĹkai Karakasa KozĹ, said Emperor Trizarious telepathically, I give unto you the task of harvesting as much energy as possible for my revival. Is this understood?
Yes, my liege.
To aid you in this endeavor, I shall entrust you with a legion of kosenjĹbi. Do as you wish with them.
That night, at a motel Leslie was staying at, the ram on the totem pole near the Mystery Shack started to glow in a deep red color.
Leslie Moonchild, commanded a booming voice, I must speak to you.
âWhat- Who are you?â asked a fearful Leslie, âand how do you, like, know my name?â
Fear not, young one. My name is Hitsujiza of the Aries, and you bear my spirit for reincarnation.
ââSpiritâ? Whatâs that supposed to mean? And how do you, like, know my name?â
My apologies, I shall explain: 65 million years ago, a meteor fell and killed off the dinosaurs, or so your science would like to have you believe. In actuality, it was a being of pure darkness: Emperor Trizarious. Trizarious feasted on the dinosaurs' souls as well as their bodies. Challenging Trizarious were The Great Celestial Gods: I, Hitsujiza of the Aries, LeĂłn of the Leo, Bliznetsy of the Gemini, Sagittario of the Sagittarius, ParthĂŠnos of the Virgo, and Tenbin of the Libra. Eventually, we fell one by one to the vile fiend, but not before we vowed thatâŻfive warriors would be born to stop him. Five warriors that would become the Spirit Animal Sisters.
âAnd you think Iâm one of these âSpirit Animal Sistersâ?â
Yes, because the compassion and kindness you showed towards the human named Mabel Pines have proved you worthy. Now repeat after me: âBy the Power of Aries, I am transformed!â
âOkay. By the Power of Aries, I am transformed!â
Leslie found herself enveloped in a flash of pink light, during which she found her street clothes being replaced by a strapless shirt and a short simple skirt over a pair of shorts, designed in white and dark gray, and a deep red sailor collar which was adorned with a large bow. The ensemble also included a pair of sandals, a single earring, and a long cape.
Come with me, Star Aries, said Hitsujiza, I have much to teach you.
The next morning, Stacy, Mandy and Grizelda had arrived in Gravity Falls. The three girls absorbed their surroundings; only Stacy and Mandy liked what they saw.
âNever thought Iâd end up back here again,â said Grizelda. âItâs just how I remember it.â
âCome on,â said Mandy, âcoming back here canât be all that bad.â
âTrust me, it can.â
As if on cue, a crowd of citizens passed by the trio, fleeing from an army of humanoid creatures cloaked in blue flames and armed with spears, followed by Karakasa KozĹ with Star Aries in hot pursuit.
âDarn, just missed them,â cursed Star Aries. Turning to Mandy, Stacy and Grizelda, she asked âAre all you alright?â
âAside from absolute confusion from what just happened, weâre fine, missâŚ"
"Just call me Star Aries. Now if you'll excuse me, a certain someone, like, needs my attention."
As Star Aries left to take care of business, Grizelda couldn't help but notice that Star Aries looked and sounded familiar to her.
"Something wrong?" asked Mandy.
"It's strange," pondered Grizelda, "but I feel like I've seen her somewhere before. Eh, I'm sure it's my imagination."
"If you say so," replied Stacy.
As the trio headed into the city, little did they know that they too would find themselves on a rollercoaster adventure.

We are not just friends â Part 19
Chris Evans x bi!latina!character (Sofia is a people of color, sheâs brown.)
Chris and Sofia meet when their best friends started dating, it all started at friends with loads of bumps on the road.
Warnings: drinking, smoking, drug use (weed), assault, Chris being Steve Rogers, commitment issues, my girl Sofia kinda messy.
This is slow burn at its best, at least emotionally.
Series masterlist
SofĂa had definitely closed up, she became a recluse in her own apartment and the only thing she did was go to work and back. She felt mostly okay, she wasn't crying her eyes out or seeing a random photo of Chris and crying.Â
She was hurt, deeply hurt but all she did was avoid thinking about him. This wasn't like the first time they broke up, this felt different. Like, this was it.
She loses one of her most precious friends and gains another failed relationship, another ex that probably will end up resenting her because they couldn't reach her and when she opens up she gets shot down.Â
After ChrisâŚ
Sofia was sure that she was meant to be alone and she was mostly okay with it.
On the other hand, Christopher was devastatedâhe honestly thought she was the one, he felt it in his gut, his heart, his whole being made him feel that she was the one. She just kept pushing him away in all the ways that she could find and he took it, until he couldn't anymore and that alone made him feel like he was failing her, he didn't know how to help her and she won't let him.Â
They were so far away from each otherâit was exhausting and the fact that he had just started talking with Jenny again made him feel insecure about his relationship.Â
But he love her with all his fucking heart that it hurt his whole body knowing that she might ever be able to love him back the way he does.Â
"I miss him," Sofia said, putting her eyeliner on. She was going out as Amanda was very pregnant to even move.Â
"He does too." She said rubbing her belly. "It's been, how much time now?,"Â
"Four months , so he's dating Jenny. That's what I heardâŚ" Sofia tried not to get emotional about it but⌠Fuck.Â
"Yeah, Luke told me about it⌠but it's going anywhere and he knows. Not sure about her though."Â
"He always gets back with all his exes. Got us on rotation, fucking idiot. He wants to commit but he can't actually commit with anyone. Then in the one with commitment issues," Sofia shook her head and let out a groan. "I love him, I swear to you I love him, he's a good friend but he's a terrible boyfriend."
"Right back at you," Amanda laughed and Sofia had to, because she was absolutely right about her too.Â
"I don't go back with all my exes, though"Â
"Mostly don't, Chris it's the exception."Â
"Because I thought it was going to be okay for once." She made a face and began putting the make up back on her little make up bag. "I can't believe he's back with Jenny, she's funny and intelligent and greatâbut God, I don't fucking like her." Sofia said, throwing the make-up bag on her bag and pout. "I don't want to go out now. More because I know he's here in Boston and it's not leaving until next year and I'm seeing his brother today."
"You don't wanna run into him?,"Â
"Of course I wanna run into him, I miss him so much but I'm totally not over him yet." Sofia explained sitting on the toilet seat looking at Amanda that was leaning in the door frame. "I don't know if I'm ever going to be over Chris."
"I'm sad now, you're make me feel sad and my boy tooâ
"I'm sorryâ
"Don't be, I'm feeling sad because I can't go out with you and drag Chris's name all over Boston even though he's great but he left you."
Sofia smiled looking down and felt Amanda's hand running through her hair and she sighed deeply.Â
-
SofĂa was vibing or at least trying, the place was comfy and she knew almost all the people that were thereâwitch where all of fucking Christopher closest friends and some random girls that the guys bring from somewhere.
Apparently he wasn't coming, which Sofia didn't know if she was actually relieved or not.Â
"Jesus fucking christ." She murmured to herself tried of her own fucking mind noise. She stood up and walked to the little bar area and started pouring a drink, straight whiskey and downed it all and poured herself a second and then a third walking away with the drink on her hand.
He saw her first, saw her leaning on a wall, talking with some dude âyounger than her, brunette and with a fucking man bun, he was built, lean and tall. She laughed, at whatever fucking thing he said she laughed and looked at him with the little fucking straw on her lips. Oh, boy he was mad.Â
Chris rubbed his face and went about to hang up with his friends and mingle a little bit. But he couldn't stop looking at their direction every fucking second.Â
"They sure look cozy," Luke said and Chris looked at him. "Did you talk to her yet?"Â
"I can't talk to her, man." Chris muttered and downed the warm beer on his hand and his friend handed him another. "What I'm supposed to say?, hey, long time remember when I dump you because I'm a fucking imbecile and i cant fucking wait." He said dropping sarcasm on every word.Â
"That's a good opening," Luke laughed and Chris just stared at him, murdering eyes directed at his very own best friend.Â
"Who the fuck is that?" he asked referring to the guy she was talking with.Â
"A friend of Ryan's cousin."Â
Chris made a face and rolled his eyes. "The fuck he doing here?"Â
"It's Ryan's house, dude," Luke said and was a little amazed at Chris, he definitely hasn't seen him like this in a really long long time. "Man. .." Luke said, kind of amazed. "You're still head over heels in love with her, don't you?"Â
"I wonder what gave it away," Chris said, drinking his beer and rubbing his face. "imma talk to her,"
"Ahâdon't think it's-uh," Luke was looking at them and saw them share a kiss, it was quick and he kinda went for it.Â
"What?," Chris said turning around and saw them just breaking the kiss and that's the moment Sofia saw him.Â
And her stomach dropped, her whole ass body droppedâ
"Oh, woow. Are you okay?," Alex, asked her when her knees buckled and he caught her.Â
"Ah, yeah, yes. Just," She smiled at him and looked at her empty glass. "Little drunk, imma get moreâ" Sofia made an attempt to leave but Alex, bless his fucking kind heart, offered her to get her those drinks and something to eat.Â
As soon he leaves that was a cue to Chris, who literally strutted to the wall she was leaning and Slfia just⌠started.
"Hi," He said, hands on his pockets as Sofia kept looking at him. "How-how are you?"Â
Sofoa kept quiet and simply walked away from him, ahe couldn't possibly do the whole small talk bullshit they alwaus did and it emeded up al fucking badly. Chris looked at her go and he was the one that stormed after her.Â
"Sofia, come on," Chris said and walked besides her. "Sof, it's going to be like this?"Â
"I can't talk with you Chris, likeâŚ" She sighed and sat down on a bench, they weren't completely away from the people and there were some girls sitting on a couch messing around with their phones and minding their business.
"Why not?," He asked, looking at her. He just wanted to reach out and hug her, he missed her.Â
SofĂa finally looked up at him and asked him, "How's things with Jenny?," Chris looked away and rubbed his beard and stayed quiet at her question for a moment.Â
"We're not together anymore," He said and Sofia made a face and sigh. "What about you?"Â
"What about me?"Â
"Are you seeing someone?" He asked looking at the bar where the dude was talking with Ryan, probably giving him the talk.Â
"Look, Sofia is off limits."
"What?, why? She told me she's single." Alex asked and looked back at where she was supposed to be and found Chris looking back at him with that death stare he did when he was annoyed.Â
"Yes, she is. But it's also Chris ex and they still didn't figure it out and he's my friend, so kid. Off limits,"Â
"Do you care,?" She asked, sassy.Â
"If I didn't I wouldn't be asking, wouldn't I?," He asked right back at her, also sassy.Â
"Last time I tried that, it didn't go well," Sofia said, rolling her eyes at him. "And the one before that, worse." She said at their obvious relationship and Chris just grunted. But couldn't blame her, it was a messâŚÂ
"Yeah," He murmured and dug into his pockets and fished out a packet of cigarettes. "want one?" He offered her and she took it.Â
"Thanks, we should smoke outside though." Sofia said walking out to the backyard where the other guys were doing the grilling.Â
They waved at them but kept their distance, not Scott though because it was Scott.Â
"SoâŚ" He said walking up to them and putting a hand on each shoulder. "You two are actually talking,"Â
"Not really," Sofia rolled her eyes and Chris grunted again.Â
"Sof," He said, putting those little blue eyes to work on him and it worked, of course it will work.Â
"Okay, okayâŚ" She agreed and lit up the cigarette giving Chris a look. Thinking that the moment she found him unattractive was when she stopped looking at men all together and dedicated herself to pussy forever.Â
He was so fucking attractive, jesus fuck.Â
"Either way, is there a point here?," She asked looking at both of them. "We're good, I guess," She shrugged.Â
"Are we really good?," Chris asked.Â
"I don't know, you left me." Sofia took a drag and Scott made a face.
"And that's my cue to leave, I love you both." He said and Sofia laughed.Â
"And I do too." She wink at him and Chris was staring at her, waiting for Scott to leave.Â
"I shouldn't have done thatâ
"Chris, don't." She waves a hand at him. "You seriously need a new woman on your life, this thing about getting back with all your exes ia getting old as fuck."
"Ouch," He said and actually smile and so did she. "I do miss you, you know that."Â
"I miss you too, come on. We were really good friends for a moment there,"Â
"Yeah," He smiled and bit his bottom lip, shaking his head. "We fucked up, don't we?"Â
"Yeah, and I told you so."
"You did. Guess I didn't listen,"Â
"You never listen, stubborn Gemini man." She said punching him on the arm.Â
"Yeah, you're right but I don't regret it though."
"Me neither," She smiled and sigh, just thinking for a moment. "So, there's a wedding coming?"Â
"You mean ours?," He joked and Sofia barked a laugh.Â
"I mean our better halves, idiot. Besides, we will be divorced in the first four months."
"What?, come on I gave us at least⌠a year," Chris saif and Sofia made a face, disagreeing.Â
"Six months, tops." She said and put her hand on his month. "The thought of me being a wife, ew."
Chris laughed out loud. "You look pretty in white,"Â
"I look pretty in everything because I'm pretty," She rolled her eyes with a smile. "But, jokes aside. Do you see yourself married?"Â
"I like the idea of marriage but⌠Honestly, I don't know."
"I preferred to have a kid before marriage, it's just a fucking paper in the end. You can divorce, I think I'll know when I have a kid, if I have a kid."
"We never had this talk before," Chris said and pointed at a little bench for them to sit. "About us,"Â
"Did you think about it?" Sofia asked as she sat down beside him. Chris was holding his beer between his legs and looking forward.Â
"Yeah, I meanâŚ" He looked at her. "I have never been this in love with someone like I am with you, so yeah. I did, a couple of times actually."
Sofia was dumbfounded at what he said, and she did toyed with the idea a couple of timesâŚÂ
"I almost propose to you, actuallyâŚ" He laughed and Sofias head snapped so hard to look at him. "After you met my mom, I bought that ring you liked. I thought that maybe somedayâŚ" He shrugged and Sofia's eyes watered up and just stared forward.Â
"Chris, IâŚ" She whispered and he looked at her.Â
"What's wrong?," He asked, frowning.Â
"What's wrong!?," She said, wiping her tears. "Dude, are you hearing what you are saying to me?."
Chris realized it at that moment, what he did. Bomb after bomb he just dropped on her.Â
"Sorry, I got carried away." He muttered slouching on the bench and drank the rest of his beer.Â
"You'll find someone, ChrisâŚ" Sofia said in a small voice.Â
"Already found her," He muttered and stood up and walked away.Â

Powered Shorts: BI DND
the band plays some good old fashioned dnd
âThe looming ruins of the Cathedral of Glaudem shadow over all of you. Part of the roof has caved in, vines cover most of the old brick that make up the cathedral, and the only standing structure, the front, is about 350 feet tall. As you get closer, a storm is brewing, wind whipping around you. Trees groan under the wind before torrents of rain start to pound on you. Thereâs no doubt, this is the cathedral that the elder was talking about.â Airael describes from behind their DM screen. âBefore you enter, what do you do?â
âMyathethil takes out her quarterstaff and readies her darts.â Virtue says simply. It makes sense, Myathethil is a to-the-point character. If she thinks a fight is coming, she readies her weapons. If someone is trying to poison her, she punches them. Simple and easy.
Bug looks through their notes and character sheet. âWena holds onto eir amulet from Tulai, whispering a prayer in Halfling. Ey have been in many battles, but a small part of them worries ey wonât make it out alive this time. Ey will need all the luck ey can get.âÂ
Airael nods. âWhat is the prayer?â
âUhh,â Bug thinks for a moment. âTulai, wherever you are, please give me the strength to come home.â
Airael nods, writing something down from behind the screen. âCato, Gemini, what are Hotaru and Tragedy doing?â
Gemini smiles. âTradegy is tying the charm her mother gave her to the end of her mace. If this is where her journey ends, then she wants to do it knowing her mom is nearby. She wants her mom to know that her baby found people who care for her.â
Airael smiles, and looks at Cato. âAnd Horatu?â
âHorato is staring at the Cathedral, feeling a familiar sense of oppression in his soul. He is mentally preparing to have to betray everyone if it means finding his fiancee and family before he dies.â Cato says carefully. âHe made a promise to himself in the Feywild, and heâs not going to break it today.â
âWith that out of the way.â Airael gives a feral grin. âYou all walk into the cathedral. Normal formation Iâm assuming?â
Everyone nods.Â
âGood, good. Uh, Wena, whatâs your passive perception again?â
âUm, 16.â Bug answers.
âCool, cool, cool. Wena passes through the threshold. You see that the inside is just rubble. Anything that could have been destroyed was. As you look forwards to where the cave has collapsed, you see a fucking dragon.â
Thereâs cheers around the table as the band rejoices at fighting a dragon, before going quiet at having to fight a dragon.
âCan I see the color of the dragon?â Bug asks.
âMake a perception check.â
Bug rolls, looking at the dice then back at his sheet. âThatâs an 18 plus . . . thatâs 24.â
âThereâs a flash of lighting, and you can see this is definitely a young blue dragon.â
Bug nods. âIâm going to whisper back to the group.â Xe turns to the players. âHey, uh, be quiet, and has anyone picked up Draconic in the last 5 or so minutes?â
A chorus of ânoâs, and Bug nods again. âSo we can see the dragon, but it hasnât noticed us. Should we make a plan?â
Everyone starts to discuss amongst themselves, Gemini throwing out the idea of all attacking one wing at once to disable its flying.Â
âI have animal handling, would I be able to know which part of the dragon needs to be hit the hardest from like, birds and shit?â Bug asks.
âSure, make the check.â
Bug rolls again. âHaha, oh fuck, uhhh thatâs an 8?â
âYou need to hit the wing.â
âFUCK!â
Everyone laughs at that, taking a moment to get back together.
âOkay okay okay, so who has no throwing weapons?â Cato asks, and Bug and Gemini raise their hands. âSweet so I can give you my daggers-â
âI can cast spiritual weapons to make a longbow instead. Give your daggers to Mya.â Gemini interrupts. âI can cast it as a bonus action too. Itâs like, glowy and shit so it probably would be better if I cast it after the initial attack as a bonus sneak attack.â
The group nods in agreement. âSo do we need to get closer?â
âThose who are using throwing weapons will need to.âÂ
Bug and Virtue roll, getting an 11 and unnatural 20 in the process.Â
âSo Wena barely gets close enough, almost tripping on some rubble. Mya, youâre having a great time. Youâre basically dancing your way to this dragon.â
âI give the signal and attack.â Bug says. âIâm going to throw both of my hand axes at the same time.â
âCool, roll to attack with advantage on both. Actually, everyone but Gemini roll with advantage. Gem, weâll get to you.â Airael says, with the group nodding. Everyone rolls. âUh, letâs go in order of Bug, Virtue, then Cato.â
â22 and 12.â
â19 and 18.â
â18.â
Airael looks at something behind the DM screen. âSweet. So, Gem, make a perception check real quick?â
âUh, 15.â
âCool, you notice when everyone throws their weapons, and are able to time it just in time to make your spiritual weapon. Roll with advantage.â
âThatâs a 24.â
Airael checks behind their DM screen again.Â
âAll but Bugâs second attack hit. Go ahead and roll damage.â They do, and Airael scratches something on a paper behind the screen. âYou all attack the dragonâs wing. Bug, your first handaxe snaps one of its outer bones. Gemini, your sacred arrow shoots right through its joint, rendering it completely useless. The dragon roars, lightning striking as the storm gets worse. Roll initiative.â
After writing some more things behind the screen, Airael looks at Cato. âHotaru goes first. Whatâs your move?â
Cato thinks, looking over their sheet. âIâm going to use an action to Disengage. How bad do the pillars and supports look?â
âTheyâre pretty worn, but seem to be bolted together well. The wood looks to be starting to rot though.â Airael answers.
Cato nods. âOkay so idea one out. Iâm gonna use my action to hide.â
âRoll stealth for me?â
â23?â
âYou fucking melt into shadows and disappear. Not even Tragedy can see you.â Airael says, and Cato laughs. âNow, speaking of said tiefling, itâs your turn!â
Gemini laughs sinisterly, looking over her spell sheet. âHow far away is the dragon at this point?â
âAbout 70 feet ish.â
Gemini nods. âIâm gonna cast Guiding Bolt as my spiritual longbow dissipates into nothingness.â
âSounds good, roll to attack.â
âDoes a 22 hit?â
âYes it does, damage?â
Gemini rolls 4 six-sided dice. âThat is . . . 25 radiant damage!â
Airael writes something down again. âAs Hotaru disappears into the chaos of the storm, Tragedyâs shining bow disappears into a mist that swirls into a line of light that strikes the dragon. It roars in pain as the light is absorbed into its wet scales. Bug, your turn.â
âIâm taking out my longswords and attacking this bitch with them.â Ey roll the d20. âNAT 20 MOTHERFUCKERS!â
The group chants â20â over and over again as Bug takes a celebratory walk around the table. They roll for their second attack. âAhem, does a natural and an unnatural 20 hit?â
Airael rolls their eyes with a smile. âWhat do you think? Both of them hit. How does it happen.â
Bug grins. âWena storms, haha storms, towards the land-bound dragon, unsheathing eir swords. Lighting flashes in the sky as eir amulet starts to glow, and ey shove the longswords into the belly of the beast. For . . . 23 damage.â
â23 damage.â Airael repeats, scratching more things behind the screen. âIt is now Virtueâs turn.â
âCan I actually take my turn to run on top of the dragon?â Virtue asks.
âThatâs gonna be a dex check.â
âThatâs a 19 for the monk lady to run up a dragon.â
âThe monk lady runs up the dragon.â
âHell yeah.â
âItâs the dragonâs turn now.â
âUn-hell yeah.â
Airael smirks. âFirst the dragon is going to swipe at Wena, who is the closest to it.â They roll. âWhatâs your armor class again?â
Bug checks their sheet. â16.â
âSo both attacks hit for . . .â more rolling, â20 slashing damage.â
Bug groans as they write their current hp down.
âNow itâs going to make a breath attack against you.â Airael points towards their girlfriend, who gasps. âDonât you gasp, Tragedy did a lot of damage. Make a dex saving throw.â
Gemini rolls. â11?â
Airael doesnât respond, and instead starts to roll die after die after die. â45 lightning damage.â
Gemini groans. âYouâre mean.â She grumbles as she writes her new hp.
Airael shrugs, smiles, and turns to Cato. âYour turn, bucko.â
Cato grins. âIâm making a sneak attack with my bow.â They roll. â26 hit?â
âIt sure does. Roll damage.â
Cato rolls their d6 six separate times. âThatâs a 27 piercing damage for the blue dragon in the back. And Iâm gonna hide again.â
Airael nods and looks up. âGem, your turn.â
Gemini looks at her spell sheet. âIâm running up to this bitch and casting inflict wounds as a 5th level spell.â
Airaelâs eyes light with interest. âAnd do tell how this looks.â
âTragedy has a giant blast mark thatâs burned off part of her armor. Sheâs tired, sheâs pissed. She runs 30 feet towards the dragon, writes the words âpainâ in glowing infernal letters, and screams as the letters become dark and twisted and strike the dragon in the face.â
Airael nods. âRoll to attack please.â
âIâm adding 10 as per my channel divinity.â She says once she rolls. âSo thatâs a 21 to hit the dragon with my overpowered spell.â
Airael sighs. âRoll your damage.â
Gemini rolls 7d10. â40 necrotic damage.â
âThe dragonâs glowing blue eyes stare at you with anger and hatred as you scream. The letters strike the creatureâs face, causing the flesh to rot and die away, the word âdieâ clear on its forehead. With that, itâs Wenaâs turn.â
âNice. Iâm just gonna hit again with my swords, thatâs a 13 and a 12.â Bug reports.
âYou wrench your swords out, and try to hit again but miss the angle. They clink off the scaly underbelly.â Airael says in response. âAnd now the monk lady who is on the dragonâs head has a go.â
âIâm gonna beat it on the head with my quarterstaff.â Virtue says.Â
Airael sighs again. âRoll to hit.â
Silence. âThatâs a nat one Iâm afraid.â Virtue says, and Airael smiles.
âYou smack the dragon on the head, and your quarterstaff shatters. The staff given to you by Moss, your partner and beloved, the staff that youâve had for all of your crazy journeys. Gone. Poof.â They say, a grim smile on their face.Â
âOh God.â Virtue mutters, putting their face into their hands. âOh fuck, my staff.â
The players are quiet in fear as the dragon starts its turn.
âFirst off, itâs going to shake its head to get rid of you. Make a dex check.â Airael starts.
âThatâs a 27.â
âYou stay on the dragon, grasping its scales and spine as it twists and turns. Next, itâs gonna try and slash Wena again.â Airael rolls some dice. âYou manage to dodge the first one, but the second one comes from behind and gets you for 8 damage.â
Bug silently cheers at that, editing his current hp.
âAnd finally, itâs gonna try and bite Tragedy. Whatâs your ac?â
â14.â
âSo it gets you pretty hard. Youâre lucky you have armor, otherwise you would 100% be in half right now.â
Gemini curses silently.
âBut now itâs Hotaruâs turn.â Airael looks at Cato. âAre you going to do what I think youâre going to do?â
âOh totally.â Cato says. âDoes a 27 hit?â
Airael nods.
â28 damage, my good sir.â
Airael smiles. âHotaru comes out from behind Tragedy, seeming to have melted out of the shadows. He has his bow notched and drawn, and he stares the dragon down. The dragon roars at the human, trying to intimidate him, and Hotaru lets the arrow fly. The dragonâs roar is cut short as it stumbles around a little before collapsing down, dead. What is everyoneâs current hp?â
âFull hp.â Cato says, with Virtue saying the same.
âMine is 76.â Bug reports.
â2.â Gemini says, and Airaelâs grin grows wider.
âTragedy falls over, almost dead and bleeding out. You look up to see a glowing figure with a familiar smile. Itâs your mother.â
Gemini smiles. âMom?â
âYour mother floats next to you, crouching by your head. âOh Sorath, my sweet baby look how much youâve grown,â she says, smiling at you like you didnât kill hundreds in her name. âI know you hurt with my leaving, but let yourself grow with these people. Theyâre good folk, I know you can sense it too.â She starts to fade away, her time here is short.â Airael describes the scene, tears coming to their eyes.
âNo, mom, please! I need you!â Gemini says. âDonât leave me again!â
Airael smiles. âShe gives you one last sad look. âIâve never left you, baby. And I never willâ And like that,â they snap, âsheâs gone with the sun coming out of the clouds.â
âSo did anyone else see that, or was that just a spirit thing?â Virtue asks.
âHmm, make a perception check, everyone.â Airael decides.Â
Cato gets a 21, Bug a 18, and Virtue a 17.
âHotaru is the only one who sees the apparition, and is the only one who hears it. And with that, our time is up!â
Everyone groans, standing up and organizing their papers and dice. Cato smiles to themselves. Theyâre so excited to see whatâs next. They feel safe here, and so so happy. Itâs nice for a change.Â

âI think you might be my soulmate.â Romantic Parrward
itâs been 84 years, but here she is !!

PUPPY LOVE (PARRWARD)
She shouldnât be sad. Kat knows that.
Why should she feel sad when one of the dogs at the shelter is finally going to get her forever home? Her favourite one too! Watching through the glass window, Kat canât help but feel a tightening in her chest seeing Juno trying to get her soon-to-be ownerâs attention while she is talking with the shelterâs vet. After having seen Juno grown up over these past two years, Kat developed a fondness for the pup, well she hasnât been a pup in a long time, but in Katâs eyes, she is still a baby.
âEverything going alright with the girl?â Jane asks once she exits the room on the other side of the window. Kat nods, without taking her eyes off the girl playing around in the other room. âLooks like Junoâs found herself the perfect gal.â
âYeah.â Kat breathes out.
âKat,â says Jane in a warning tone, placing one hand on her shoulder.
âI know. I know. Iâm not supposed to get attached to the dogs. Itâs in the volunteer handbook,â Kat replies, looking down at her sneakers. In her defence, she doesnât get attached to the dogs ever. She cares about them sure, but sheâs always so happy when they are welcomed in a new family and get to leave the shelter. Juno is the only exception.
âI was going to say that you donât have to keep torturing yourself by supervising them. Iâm sure Lina wonât mind that you leave them alone for the last 10 minutes. I think she told me this morning that she knows the girl anyways.â Jane gave Kat a sympathetic smile before looking back through the window. âWant me to go in to tell her that youâll be back when sheâs ready to leave?â
âNo, itâs fine, Iâll go in. I might as well go say goodbye to Juno at the same time.â
âYou sound like youâre talking about saying goodbye to a dying relative.â Jane snorts.
âIâm a Gemini, Iâm allowed to be dramatic from time to time.â
âI thought you said Leos were the dramatic ones.â
âThey are! I mean have you met Anne?â Kat gestures wildly as she speaks, hitting her hand on the wall.
âCareful, darling. At this rate, youâll go in there all bruised up and Junoâs going to be all worried about you.â Jane snickers as she watches Kat wince and rub her hand.
Right.
She still has to say goodbye. Kat takes a few seconds to calm down, then opens the door to find a head of brown curls flick up and an overenergized dog running immediately in her direction.
âHey, there Juno,â says Kat, bending down to ruffle the dogâs black fur on her back before turning her attention to the woman still sitting on the floor. âI was just dropping in to let you know that Iâll be back in 10 minutes when youâre ready to leave.â
âSounds good, anything else I need to know?â
Kat shakes her head. âThis might sound strange, but can I say goodbye to Juno?â
Itâs Catherineâs turn to shake her head. âThat doesnât sound strange at all.â
Kat feels relief washing over her. At least, this would feel less weird. Juno has always been a more hyper dog, even on her bad days, but Kat manages to calm her down a bit so she can say goodbye. It does feel a bit ridiculous, but again, Juno is like her baby.
âLook at you, all grown up. Youâve finally found yourself a forever home, huh? I bet youâre gonna love it there. I heard your new best friend has a private garden and she lives next to a big park. Youâre gonna be able to run all you want now. No more dragging me around for a few hours each week.â Kat grins as she scratches lightly under Junoâs chin. âYouâre gonna have to behave though, okay? Sheâs welcoming her new roommate today, and you donât want to scare her away, do you?â
Juno just sits there, panting, and Kat is pretty sure she understands absolutely nothing of what she is rambling about. She gets belly rubs in exchange though, so it's a win-win situation regardless. "I'm gonna miss you so much." Kat scrunches her nose and closes her eyes as Juno leaps forward to lick her face. "Okay, okay, okay, I know. I love you too." She giggles and pushes herself away to stand up. "Bye, sweet girl."
"You seem like you were really close," says Catherine, reminding Kat that there is another person in the room.
"Yeah, sort of," she admits, a bit shy after realizing she's been talking to a dog like she would to a human. "I, uh, I named her. She was the first dog who arrived here after I started volunteering here."
"That's really cute," she says, her eyes full of admiration as she looks at Juno and then back at Kat. "Would you mind telling me why you named her Juno?"
"It's a bit of a long story."
"I have time. We have a little under 10 minutes left, remember? Make yourself comfortable." She scootches over to grab one of the cushions in the bin and places it next to her. At the same time, Juno prances towards Catherine and lays between her and the cushion designated for Kat.
So, she takes a seat next to her and decides to tell her about Juno's arrival and her first few months at the shelter. "We'd received this call from this person who we suspect must've been a breeder saying that their "neighbour" was moving, but couldn't bring their puppies with them. When we arrived at the given address, the closest neighbours lived a kilometre away and there was no sign of human life on that plot of land. There was just an empty farm and a litter of pups. We're not sure how many there were in total, you know if the breeder had kept a few, but Juno was definitely the runt. She was so tiny, gosh, I was afraid to hold her."
âI canât believe people would just abandon their pets like that.â She pouts and reaches out to hold Juno as if she was going to disappear if she didnât.
"Yeah, honestly, we weren't sure she'd survive, but sure enough, this little one was right on track with the rest of her siblings that we rescued in a matter of a few months. She was so rambunctious. You would've never imagined that she was the runt of the litter. She was a real goofball."
"From what I've seen over these past few visits, she's still a goofball," says Catherine.
"Oh, for sure." Kat snorts and continues, "Sheâs so clumsy. She gets super excited when it's mealtime, but she's excited to a point where she might step in her bowl. It happened more so when she was smaller, and the bowl was considered bigger for her. But even with food or water under her paw, she would just continue on as if nothing happened. Don't worry, she hasn't done this in a while. I doubt you'll find wet paw prints around your flat."
Catherine shrugs. "It'll make for cute temporary art."
"As a fan of pop-ups, myself, I like your way of thinking, but I'm not sure your roommate would appreciate it."
"That's a problem for another time. Plus, anyone who doesn't like Juno is someone I don't want in my life," she coos as she pets her dog's back.
"Honestly, same. She's the silliest dog I've ever met, which is why I named her Juno. 'Queen of the heavens'. She's the farthest from what you think of when you picture a royalty dog, but she absolutely runs this place. If she wants you to pay attention, she will get her way. And somehow, she made everyone fall for her."
âPerfect name for a perfect dog,â she says, staring lovingly at the dog. âI just wanted to say that I know itâs highly recommended that everyone in the household comes to meet the dog before bringing her home, but my roommate is just moving in today andââ
âCatherine, youâre good, donât worry. Iâve seen how you are with Juno these past few visits, how thorough you were with paperwork even before it was confirmed that you could adopt her. Iâm sure you took Juno into consideration when you decided to get a roommate,â she tells her sincerely because that is what sheâs observed. She still wouldnât say that she was excited about this, but sheâd be lying if she said that she would rather have someone else adopt Juno.
âCathy.â
âWhat?â
âIf youâre going to stay, you might as well call me Cathy.â
âI can go.â She really didnât want to, but if she was overstaying her welcomeâ
âNo, please stay? Juno likes having you around.â In that moment, Kat thought that maybe owners truly do resemble their dogs because she was convinced Cathy had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen.
Needless to say, Kat didnât stand a chance against those pleading hazel eyes. She hesitates for one second before making herself comfortable again on the magenta cushion. âWhy did you choose Juno over the other dogs?â
Cathy beams and starts telling her own Juno story. Kat had been there to guide Cathy around the shelter during her first visit, but she was on her break when she first met Juno and missed the whole interaction.
âMeeting Juno was kind of an accident. Youâd had just gone on your break and another volunteer was coming to help guide me around, but she had to bring Juno to Jane first. And boy, was I glad things turned out the way they did. From the moment I saw her, there was this voice inside my head that told me that I had to adopt her.â
In the blink of an eye, 10 minutes pass by. One moment Cathy is telling Kat about the puppy her family adopted when she was growing and the next, Jane is back in the room giving Cathy some last-minute advice before she leaves the shelter. Cathy thanks the veterinarian one last time with a hug and watches her exit the room, leaving Cathy and Kat alone again.
âI guess this is it,â Kat says, a hint of sadness in her voice as she glances down at Juno who seems as happy as ever.
âYou know, I donât live that far from here. I could pass by every morning when I walk her to say hi,â Cathy suggests.
Had it been anyone else, Kat wouldâve assumed that they were just asking out of politeness or something. With Cathy though, she feels like she would actually be willing to pass by the shelter every morning. âYou really donât have to do that,â Kat assures her with the shake of the head. âPlus, Iâm pretty sure Lina would start to doubt my professionalism if she found out.â
âWould she doubt your professionalism if I took you on a date?â
Taken aback, Kat doesnât respond at first, but she canât help the smile that spreads on her lips. âI could always buy her some chocolates to get back on her good side,â she says with a shrug. Suddenly feeling shy, she looks down at her shoes and tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Cathy reaches out to tilt Katâs head back up with her finger to her chin. âHow about we go get ice cream?â
So, Kat swings by Linaâs office and asking her if she can leave early. âOf course, darling,â she says without hesitation.
âYou sure?â
âKat, youâre here nearly every day. Go on and enjoy your life!â Catalina says with a light chuckle. She makes a shooing motion with her hand when she catches the slightest glimpse of hesitation from Kat. âGo, donât want to keep Cathy waiting now, do you?â
âI-How do you-Who?â
âJane has been gushing about how adorable you two looked in that room with Juno.â
Kat feels her cheeks warming up again, but she doesnât really care. How could she when sheâs going on a date with such a wonderful woman? Before heading to the shop though, they head back to Cathyâs flat to drop off the books the older girl had been carrying.
The first thing Kat notices as she enters Cathyâs flat is the large boxes by the door. Then, she remembers Cathy mentioning the new roommate earlier and assumes itâs probably theirs. Cathy immediately apologizes for the mess, but Kat waves her off. This was nowhere near the state of chaos that was her own flat.
The second thing she notices is someone suddenly starting to belt some good old Avril Lavigne. And from the moment she hears âhey! Hey! You! You! I donât like your girlfriend,â Katâs eyes widen. She could recognize that voice anywhere. And this moment is proof of it.
âSorry again.â Cathy winces as she bends down to soothe Juno.
âDo you mind if I try something?â Cathy frowns, but shakes her head.
âAnnie!â Kat yells, hoping that her gut instinct is right and she isnât making a fool of herself in front of her crush. Not even a second later, she hears the music stop abruptly, followed by a thud and rapid footsteps approaching them.
She sees the tuft of wild dark curls first and the face of her favourite cousin second. âKat! What are you doing here? Not that Iâm not happy to see you! Just very unexpected⌠Wait, how do you even know where I live?â Anne pulls back from her tight embrace and looks at her younger cousin quizzically.
âYouâre cousins with my flatmate?â Cathy chimes in.
Kat doesnât get the chance to answer because Anne yells, âoh my god! When I told you to ask out the cute girl from the shelter earlier, sheâs the cute girl you were talking about?â
âIâm not answering that,â Cathy simply says, shaking her head.
âAlright, donât mind me then. Go on and continue to have fun on your little date,â Anne says as she slowly walks back to her room, but not without adding, ânot too much fun though!â
âIâm the cute girl from the shelter?â Kat asks, barely holding back her smile. âDid you have a crush on me?â
âYeah, what about it?â Cathy shrugs, refusing to look Kat in the eye.
âYou had a crush on me⌠how embarrassing,â she teases.
âYou agreed to go out with me!â Cathy retorts with her mouth wide open in disbelief.
âStill embarrassing,â Kat sings as she bends down to ruffle Junoâs fur. âIsnât that right Juno?â
âWhatever, Iâm going to put my stuff in my bedroom. You can join me when you grow up.â Cathy sticks her tongue out and leaves Kat by the front door with Juno. Kat fights back the urge to make a joke about how short Cathy is. Sheâll keep it for another time.
When they make it to her room, Kat just stands near the door, leaning against the closet. While Cathy carefully puts her books back on what Kat assumes is their designated place on the bookshelf, she allows herself to look around the room. Her eyes land on a rather silly-looking poster.
âNice,â Kat says, pointing to the poster displayed above Cathyâs bed.
Cathy giggles. âI found it online. I follow this account where all they post is famous paintings, but they replace the humans with dogs. And of course, when I found out they had a shop, I just had to buy something,â she explains before reaching inside her closet. âThe Creation of Adam isnât the only one I got. I also got Girl With a Pearl Earring, The Two Fridas, and The Great Wave. Iâm not sure where to hang them yet, so theyâre still chilling in there.â Cathy pulls out three tubes and carefully unrolls them one after the other.
âWait a minute⌠The Great Wave didnât have any humans in it. How can a dogââ
Before she even finishes her question, she is faced with the image of a pug surfing on the big wave. âI mean, how could I not buy it, am I right?â Cathy asks with a grin.
âI think you might be my soulmate,â Kat says between laughs, but regrets it the moment those words leave her mouth. Just as she feels her entire being filled with anxiety, Cathy lets out an easy laugh.
âWeâll have to at least go on a second date to find out,â Cathy says with a wink.

hii i was wondering if i could get a golden trio era ship? iâm 5â5, a gemini, isfp personality type and iâm slytherin. i have really short (slightly longer than a buzzcut) thatâs dirty blonde and hazel eyes. i have a slightly chubby figure (147 lbs) and light freckles. iâm sarcastic, pessimistic, and introverted but if u get to know me iâm a huge chatterbox, i also really value quality time (with friends or other), i really like animals, astrology, and baking :) i also love nostalgia and nostalgic feelings, iâm also nonbinary and go by they/them :3
(this requester later asked to have marauders instead, just a little back info before y'all come at me for going with Marauders instead of golden trio!)
Hiiiii!!!! of course you can, thank you for requesting <3
Based on the provided information, I ship you with....
Marlene Mckinnon!
at first you're a little apprehensive because Marlene is... A LOT
She insists you come with her to bother the marauders when you guys first meet
You just kind of stared at her for a minute in surprise because she was dragging a stranger to go pester her friends with her
still it definitely intrigued you enough for you to go ahead with it
The marauders were more than surprised to see Marlene with a slytherin but they didn't think it meant any harm
then the two of you started bugging them and making fun of them and they were absolutely baffled
Remus was speechless
Marlene was practically on the floor laughing
She started hanging around you more and more after that
But when she developed feelings she was definitely very blunt about it
Literally no beating around the bush or big deal made
she walked right up to you in the hall as usual and just very VERY casually said "oh yeah and just so you know I fancy you" and walked off to her table for breakfast
meanwhile you were trying to process the words that just came out of her mouth
She will 100% come back to you later and be like "so? It's not like there's THAT much to think about, do you fancy me too or no?"
And you say yes
She loves how much you talk when you're with all your friends
I'm sorry but she will most definitely make jokes about how much taller than you she is (Even though Marlene is only like 5'7" IF that)
When she's actually laying still, she loves tracing all of your freckles with her fingers and tickling your face like that to hear you laugh
You watch and cheer her on at quidditch
but if it's against Slytherin, you'll very much get sarcastic about your cheering (as a joke, she knows you're kidding)
One day you guys will be hanging out in the courtyard and see 4 animals (you can see where I'm going with this....)
You go over and start petting them and talking to them and trying to get Marlene to come over and do the same
She lasts about 20 seconds but when you bend down to pet the black dog's belly she absolutely LOSES IT laughing
After that she makes the Marauders tell you their secret
Youâre not as surprised as she thought youâd be but she figured itâs probably due to who youâre talking about (the mischievous boyos)
She often steals the map from them to take you out on random adventures
Sometimes it will be with just you two, other times Lily and Dorcas tag along
And itâs usually stuff that McGonnagall would 100000% kill you all for
Like going to the forbidden forest for fun
Or using it to stalk Snape and bug him (this is after the Lily and him incident)
Which, by the way, you 100% have to calm Marlene down after
Because when she hears about it sheâs ready to skin him alive
She has a hot head so you have to try and take her out of the equation for a while while she cools down
She may be sarcastic too but Marlene is a ray of sunshine 100% so she contrasts your personality pretty well
She "nuh uh!"'s your pessimistic ideas or thoughts most of the times and tries to show the bright side
She insists you teach her how to bake and it is MESSY
you feel like you're baking with a child but you're laughing the whole time
And the baking works out because you always have at least one batch of something to share with all of your friends
She likes going on nature walks with you, particularly at night when you can listen to the animals and watch the stars
she tries to smuggle plenty of animals into Hogwarts for your birthdays or anniversary's over the years (THAT McGonagall puts a stop to immediately)
(Secretly though, McGonagall ships you two more than literally anyone else)
The Marauders are the biggest stans for your relationship ever
They definitely fangirl whenever they see the two of you doing anything remotely romantic
If you two kiss in their presence, Sirius 100% makes James catch him as he âfaintsâ
Marlene and you both always have sarcastic and witty responses in your back pocket for those instances though
She repeatedly asks what her signs are and what they mean and what her horoscope looks like
Not because she forgets though
just because she loves hearing you repeating stuff you're passionate about
She will be talking to the Marauders or Lily or Dorcas and she usually refers to their signs (even if she accidentally says the wrong one) for a reason to their behavior to show off her knowledge from you
If anyone dares to disrespect your pronouns or identity, she corrects them the first time VERY blatantly and strictly out of benefit of the doubt
But after that, all bets are off
She earns plenty of detentions for "defending your honor" as she calls it
so do your friends
And she always immediately runs back to you to check up on you about it afterwards
She really wants you to know that she cares and that she want to listen to anything you want to talk about
If it happens to upset you she likes to set something up to cheer you up
once she sets up a giant fort in the gryffindor common room
another time she uses magic to build a playground in the courtyard
basically anything that might feel nostalgic for you, she tries to do it if she wants to cheer you up or just make you happy
She wants you to know she's always there

âŠâ˘ĚŠĚŠÍ*ŕłË.ËŕŹo(â âู áľ âู )ŕŠŕťË(iâm more of a kaomoji person haha)
hi hi hi⥠how's it going today? i hope everything is okay. i would like to ask for a ship request with skz.
iâm 02â liner female with she/her pronouns. i'm a pisces, cancer rising and gemini moon â˝. i have curly brown hair that goes a few inches above my shoulders, with red undertones from previous henna attempts. (i always wanted to be a natural redhead with freckles âĽďšâĽ) although i love to make jokes about the height of the group iâm stanning, i'm pretty short myself (160 cm here) i have hazel eyes that cannot see far so i use round glasses. i have total 6 piercings in my ears and i am about to get a tongue & belly button piercing. unfortunately, there is nothing interesting about my appearance :<
my personality isn't that interesting either, but i'll try to write some stuff >< i am an INFJ. i admit that i am an introvert but i donât hesitate to communicate if i feel like it is necessary. it's just that when i'm alone i get a different type of peace. i've always been afraid of people misinterpreting it tbh because i want to be a safe place for those around me still. whether i know them or not, even if i lack the knowledge and experience to fully grasp the subject, i am ready and willing to listen as long as they want to talk.
my hobbies are mostly about crafts. iâm into making little things that i can gift using resin! i like to explore what i possibly came up with a sewing machine. other than that, drawing has been one of my hobbies for a long time. i also enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, watching youtube and trying different coffee and tea recipes. (how about a cup for you to try? haha)
i like to hold hands and hug but the truth is, i melt when someone else starts it. every time i fall for clichĂŠs like feeling someone's head on my shoulder when i least expect it or my hand getting lost in another while walking side by side. since iâm not very talkative about my problems, itâs very good for me to even sit and feel another presence next to me without saying anything.
so yeah, i think that's it. sorry if it's annoyingly long.
take care! this is for you as a thank you;
<3
ŕ¨ŕ§ đ : đ :â i ship you with . . .
đ â jisung ⥠skz.
𼝠i think you and jisung would be great !! it's no secret that sung is a big talker, so you'll have to be equipped to listen to his rambles. he'd be so happy if you just admired him and listened to him interestedly, or added your own thoughts whenever you felt the need. he'd find all the little gifts you make him so endearing, he'd probably keep them all safely somewhere because they mean something to the two of you. jisung isn't embarassed of showing some cliche forms of romance, and if he found out that you secretly liked it, oh you better get ready because he will be doing those things. all. the. time. he'd also probably find your piercings very cool !!
⥠đš ࣪ Ë hi hi hi i hope you like this !! if you'd like me to write more pls lmk <3 ur kaomoji is so pretty, and i would love to try a cup of ur tea/coffee :o thank u for sending this in, pls stay safe and thanks for the cute lino meme !! >_<

(Unedited) (Weed Mentioned, Drug Use, Robby Is High, High Head, Bimbo!Reader) ( @gemini-sensei )
Imagine Robby getting completely dusted, high as a kite with the boys. Suddenly he's remembering his cute little bimbo girlfriend. She's such a little cutie. All of a sudden she's all he can think about. Her cute little face with her round cheeks and full lips, fat tits, and fluffy belly with rolls and hips for days. Even a nice ass that she lets him grab whenever he wants, thick thighs can't get his mind off.
He decides to blow off the guys and head back to his place but not before texting Reader. He asks her if she wants to come over for some fun since he has the place all to himself. Shannon has been gone for who knows how long and it's just been him hanging around the apartment. His phone chirps in his hands as a quick âSee you there babe~đâ is sent back. He smirks while stuffing the phone into his pocket and heading back to his place.
Cut to him slamming his chubby girlfriend up against the door of the apartment. His hands fumble for his keys. Moments later they are busting through the doorway. They're making out so hard that Robby has to keep a hand on Readerâs jaw. Fingers dug into the soft flesh of her jaw and cheeks. He's groaning and grunting into her mouth the whole time. His tongue swirls against the inside of her cheeks, playing with her tongue. It's wet and nasty which has Reader curling her toes.
Before he can do anything Reader is already pulling off his lips and kissing down to his pants. She slowly starts pulling down his pants while giggling. She looks up at him through her lashes. Pulling his boxers down she lets his cock spring out. He's already hard and twitching as she starts to jerk him, pumping his fat dick in her hand. His eyes roll at the feeling of her soft hand against his sensitive cock. She smiles while placing gentle kisses up his shaft until she meets the fat head. She swirls her tongue around the leaking tip, lapping at it as pre spills out. It's both sweet and salty.
The taste alone has her head spinning.
She wants more of it.
She can't say anything as Robby grips at the back of her head with a strong hand. Her eyes roll back and her brows knot together as he takes him into her mouth. She gags on the thickness as he quickly feeds his dick into her mouth. Soon enough its pushing into her tight throat. She moans as he starts to use her mouth for his own pleasure.
He's grunting, banging the back of his head against the wall behind him. His eyes are squeezed shut as he tries to stay focused on his girlfriend's hard work. Feeling her hot mouth and spit sliding down his dick. It coats his balls in a warm layer for drool. Her hands are tearing at his thighs, nails digging into the skin. Gritting his teeth as his hips start to buck.
He grunts out âYeah just like that- take that shit. You like it don't you? When I got my whole dick down your throat. Such a cock slut just for me huh?â he thrusts harder into her mouth. Her moan vibrates through his dick making him cry out. He grips the back of her head harder. He used her face to his own liking.
At this point, all he wants to do is blow his load down her throat.
And he does just minutes later while gripping her hair. He gags her one more time before stilling and cumming in her mouth. He can feel the way her throat tightens around him with every new rope of cum. It's hot and thick as it spills down her throat. It coats her tongue along with her fat cheeks. Her eyes are teary as fat warm tears spill down her hot face. Tears trail down her chubby cheeks as she stares up at him.
He pants as he pulls out of her mouth, her lips swollen and puffy. A mix of spit and cum coats and drips from them. It's a white clear mess all over.
âThere you go, that's all you need isn't it? Just a nice fat load of my cum in that belly of yours huh?â he taps the messy head of his dick over her lips. He whimpers and nods.
She's such a good girl for him.

i'm burning for you (shalaska) - freyja
A/N: hello!! I really didnât mean for this to get up to 8k, but, here we are. I figure we all need a little beach fluff in our lives, right? Also, this is technically spring break, because it worked better for my purposes, but it works for a summer challenge. At least, I hope so.
Summary: Alaskaâs crush on Sharon Needles has been manageable only because Sharon Needles does not wear anything remotely sexy. Too bad Raja decides Sharonâs going to be the model for her new swimsuit spread. Or, Sharon wears seven very, very distracting bathing suits, and Alaskaâs spring break is completely and utterly fucked. 7.7k.
DAY ONE OF SPRING BREAK
âSpring break is a time to relax, right?â
âMhm.â
âThe idea is to get away from it all, right?â
âSure.â
ââIt allâ includes hopeless crushes, right?â
âWhy not?â
âThen explain to me how this is fair?â
âMy eyes are telling me itâs very fair,â Willam says, sliding her sunglasses down her nose to leer over at the ice cream hut. âMaybe even a blessing.â
âI hate you,â Alaska says, but she lets her eyes follow Willamâs gaze. The sight that greets her confirms it: her spring break is completely, utterly, unfairly ruined.
Sharon Needles is standing at the stationary ice cream truck, talking animatedly with Jinkx Monsoon and completely oblivious to her enraptured audience.
âThis is homophobic,â Alaska says, her eyes never leaving the other woman.
âI was just about to say gay rights,â Willam says, and Alaska takes a deep breath.
Alaska has had a crush on Sharon ever since she cracked a joke the first day of their shared government class last semester, so, naturally, Alaska has learned a few things about her: Sharon is a poli-sci major in her junior year. Sharon is at the top of her class. Sharon throws the best Halloween parties on campus. Sharon fights with the pastors that come to yell at passers-by on the quad. Sharon exclusively wears ratty t-shirts and ripped jeans. Sharon sneers at the word âsexyâ like it spit on her mother.
Sharon Needles is currently getting ice cream dressed in the sexiest bikini Alaska has ever laid eyes on.
Itâs black, with a simple bra and a high waisted black bottom. Netting covers the top and ties around the neck, standing out against Sharonâs pale skin. Gold caps off the end of each string, catching the light attractively when Sharon shifts, laughing. It hugs Sharonâs figure tightly (of fucking course, itâs a bathing suit), showing off⌠everything.
âStaring is rude,â Willam says, and Alaska tears her eyes away from Sharonâs ass, cheeks burning.
âI wasnât staring,â she says automatically. âLetâs go lay down with Courtney.â
âNo ice cream?â Willam asks, voice verging on a whine, and Alaska ignores her, marching back down the beach towards Courtney, who is lazing in the sun and has been since three hours before, despite her skin already being perfectly bronzed.
âOh, hello!â Courntey says, pleasantly surprised as Alaska flops down next to her. Willam daintily lies down on her other side. âHow was the ice cream?â
âApparently Sharonâs too sexy to be getting any ice cream,â Willam says simply.
âWillam!â
âAh,â Courtney says sagely, looking at Alaska with sympathy. âShe does look good today. I just saw her with Jinkx Monsoon.â
Alaska groans, giving into temptation and looking back at the ice cream truck just in time to see Sharon catch a drip of melted ice cream and lick it off of her finger. She does it exaggeratedly slowly, clearly in an effort to make Jinkx laugh, but all Alaska can focus on is the way her red lips split into a slow smile around her tongue.
âFuck my life,â Alaska says, watching as Sharon cackles at the face Jinkx is making. A little bubble of jealousy springs up in her belly - she should be the one making Sharon laugh.
âCalm down,â Willam says flatly, and Alaska glares at her.
âIâll calm down when she stops wearing that swimsuit and goes back to baggy t-shirts. Where the fuck did this even come from?â
âI think Raja Gemini got her hands on her,â Willam says.
âSo Raja Gemini is to blame for ruining my life,â Alaska groans, laying down in defeat. Or maybe she owes Raja her life. Either one.
âSheâs doing a swimsuit project for the school magazine,â Courtney says excitedly. âSheâs done at least seven different designs, and theyâre all supposed to be crazy unique. It was actually supposed to be last yearâs spread, but they couldnât find the right model.â
âShe rejected Naomi Smalls, Violet Chachki, and fuckinâ Courtney,â Willam says, and then she pauses as if in thought. âI guess I would want someone with boobs, too.â
âHey!â Courtney shrieks, laughing. Alaska shrugs.
âMakes sense,â she says. âThose girls are too skinny, anyway.â
Willam snorts. âYouâre one to talk. Sharon could break you in half.â
âYes, please,â Alaska says.
âWhy donât you go over and ask her, then?â
Alaska looks at her. âYou have to know thatâs not an option.â
Willam shrugs. âYour fingers, I guess.â
Alaska hits her with Courtneyâs rolled up towel.
-
DAY TWO OF SPRING BREAK
âTell me again why we chose to come to the most popular beach?â
âBecause going with my parents to their new lakehouse would have sucked harder.â
âI donât know,â Alaska says, her book forgotten on her stomach as she stares twenty feet to her left. âAt least there would be a chance of me finishing Macbeth.â
âYou donât go to the beach to catch up in your English classes, whore,â Willam says. âYou go to ogle at everyone.â
âWell,â Alaska says grimly. âIâm certainly ogling.â
Courtney had been right - Raja Gemini is doing a photoshoot, it is based on swimsuits, and Sharon is her model. Theyâve decided to do the shoot on the beach itself, and currently, they are too close for Alaskaâs sanity.
She watches as Raja jams the feet of her tripod into the sand, laughing at something Sharon has just said and tossing her long, straight black hair behind her back as she fiddles with her equipment. Her swimsuit is fun, made up of a strappy pink top and bottoms with a gigantic eye on the ass, but Alaskaâs eyes gravitate towards Sharon no matter what she tries to focus on.
Sharon stands just off to the side, patiently waiting with her hands on her hips, completely oblivious to the way Alaskaâs mouth goes dry just looking at her.
Sheâs in a one piece today, made up of a dangerously see through lace that shines when the sun hits it. Itâs certainly unique - it covers her chest in a turtleneck and has sleeves that go down to her wrists. Her legs are bared normally, her pale skin offset brilliantly by the olive green of the fabric, and her lips are painted a dark eggplant.
If this carries on for the rest of the week, Alaska is completely screwed.
âWe have to change spots,â she says, as Sharon walks over to help Raja with her camera. God, sheâs so helpful. And considerate. And hot. âLike, immediately.â
âI fought a ten year old kid for this spot,â Willam says. âThatâs not happening.â
âWillam,â Alaska whines, flipping over to glare at her friend. Willam is unmoved, expression blank behind her mirrored sunglasses. âIf I have to suffer like this for much longer, Iâll die.â
âIâll make sure to say nice things at your funeral,â Willam tells her. âCourtney yelled at me about the kid. I didnât sit through that just to leave two days in.â
âCourtneyâs getting you a margarita right now,â Alaska says drily. âI think sheâs over it.â
âYeah,â Willam says. âHaving a girlfriend sure is nice.â
âDonât act like she wasnât the one to ask you,â Alaska snaps back, and Willam raises an eyebrow.
âSo youâre never going to make a move?â she asks, and Alaska turns to look at Sharon again, forlorn and resigned to her fate of forever looking from afar.
âThatâs exactly what Iâ what the fuck is she doing?â
Courtney is currently traipsing towards Raja and Sharon, two margaritas in her hands and a huge grin on her face. As she nears them, she turns her head to meet Alaskaâs glare. She winks.
âIâm going to kill her,â Alaska says lowly, horror creeping under her skin, and Willam laughs.
âI guess Courtneyâs going to make a move for you,â she says, and dread suddenly breaks over Alaska in a cold sweat.
âSheâd better fucking not be,â she says, watching Courtney finish talking to the other two. âI swearââ
âCourtney!â Sharon hollers, and Courtney stops making her way back towards Alaska and Willam to turn around.
âYeah?â
âWeâre having a party tomorrow night! You and Willam should come! Alaska too!â
Alaskaâs breath catches at the sound of her name.
âYeah!â Courtney calls back, but not before she flashes Alaska a cheeky grin. Alaska hates her. âTotally!â
âIâll text Willam the details!â Sharon shouts, and Alaska turns to stare at Willam.
âYou have her number?â she asks incredulously.
âI have everyoneâs number,â Willam says, shrugging. âPlus, we smoke sometimes.â
âYou smoke sometimes?!â Alaska cries. âWhy havenât I heard about this?!â
âItâs not important!â Willam says, widening her eyes with annoyance âI smoke with everyone!â
âSmoke?â Courtney asks before Alaska can fire back an response, flopping onto the gigantic beach blanket Willam had procured at the beginning of the trip. âI would kill for a joint right now.â
âYou made me leave the weed behind, remember?â
âRight.â
Alaska turns her attention back to Macbeth, over the conversation, her face burning and more absurd jealousy making it hard to focus on the words. If she can just get this act finished â
âAwww!â Courtney squeals, sounding excited. âTheyâve started the shoot! Sharon looks amazing!â
Alaska is required by law to look, and when she does, her heartbeat goes straight to her underwear. She canât tear her eyes away from Sharon, lounging on the sand with her blonde curls strewn beneath her, giving the camera the bedroomiest bedroom eyes Alaska has ever seen.
This isnât fair.
âDamn,â Willam notes from behind her. âI thought she was going to be awkward.â
âIâm entranced,â Alaska says, watching Sharon shift positions. Sheâs only half joking. âIâm bewitched.â
âIâm bored,â Willam says. âLetâs go swimming.â
âI swear, you have the attention span of a goldfish,â Courtney says, looking reluctant to stop watching the shoot, but standing up anyway. Willam shrugs.
âSorry,â she says, clearly not. She looks at Alaska. âYou coming?â
Alaska grimaces. âI need to finish this,â she says, looking at Willam apologetically. She lifts up Macbeth. âSorry.â
âI would have just taken âIâm too hornyâ,â Willam says drily, and Alaskaâs jaw drops.
âBitch!â
âHave fun!â Willam says, grabbing Courtneyâs wrist and tugging her towards the water. Alaska waves them goodbye until theyâre too wrapped up in each other to even think about her, and then she forces herself to look back at her book. She hadnât been lying - she needs to read. She will finish Act One by the end of the day, god help her.
She gets two lines in before Sharonâs laughter floats by, and suddenly, Lady Macbethâs speech is completely lacking in engagement. Before she can help it, Alaskaâs eyes trail up towards the photoshoot, and a jolt runs through her at the sight of Sharon straddling a chair, her legs spread and on full display.
Alaska doesnât look at Macbeth again until Sharon is off of the beach and out of her sight.
DAY THREE OF SPRING BREAK
Rajaâs parties have always been loud, drunk, and glittery, and this one is no exception.
Itâs a beach party, so Alaska, Willam, and Courtney all show up in their swimwear. Except - they have absolutely no intention of swimming.
They all have makeup on - Willamâs bright and sparkly, Courtneyâs subtle, and Alaskaâs the best that she could manage. Willam has body glitter spread down her arms and legs, which has spread to Alaska and Courtney by mere association, and Alaska can only hope that the chunky blue sparkles go well with her bubblegum pink bikini.
âNow this is a party!â Willam shouts over the music, and Courntey nods, grinning.
âYou know what itâs missing?â she shouts back.
âUs!â Willam yells, and then theyâre making their way through the crowd to the makeshift bar, which is a fold out table littered with red solo cups and booze. Alaskaâs heart stops with every platinum blonde girl that they bump into on the way, and sheâs relieved when they make it to their destination seeing neither hide nor hair of Sharon.
Willam fills one of the cups with beer out of the keg and thrusts it at Alaska. Alaska shakes her head at it, too nervous to drink and not the biggest fan of beer, anyway.
âNot tonight!â she says loudly, and a sudden voice from behind her makes her jump five feet into the air.
âWow, didnât have you pegged for a stick in the mud!â
She whirls around to find Sharon standing just beside her, a red solo cup in her hand and her cheeks flushed with excitement and alcohol. As if her sudden appearance wasnât enough to kill Alaska on sight, sheâs in another exquisitely fitting bathing suit, black and glittery and with a deep, deep V.
âUm,â Alaska says intelligently, her eyes glued to the pale expanse of Sharonâs chest, and Sharon grins.
âYou like it?â she asks, glancing down at herself. âRaja made it by hand - Iâm not allowed to go swimming with it, because the glitter will wash off. Iâm not entirely sure sheâs suited for swimwear.â
Alaska laughs, regaining her footing, a little. She will not make a fool out of herself right now. Sheâs sober, and Sharon knows it - she wonât have an excuse for being an idiot in the morning. âIâm not sure you should really be swimming in October, anyway,â Alaska drawls, referring to the spider web shape of the strapless bra cups, and Sharon cackles.
âItâs not her fault,â she says, grinning. âI requested something a little spookier.â
âWell, I like it,â Alaska says, openly admiring it now that she has permission. âItâs my favorite so far.â
âSo far?â Sharon asks, raising an amused eyebrow. âHave you been sneaking peeks?â
Alaska feels like her face is on fire. âUhââ
âAlaska,â Sharon admonishes, but thereâs a smile threatening to break through her scandalized frown. âRaja doesnât want anyone to see until the spread is finished.â
âThen donât do it on a public beach!â Alaska cries. âYouâre distracting!â
âAm I?â
Alaska hadnât thought blushing harder was possible, but the heat creeping up her neck says otherwise. âI mean - with the cameras, and everything - itâs a whole production, you know.â
Sharon laughs at her stammering, and Alaska canât help the affection that warms in her chest at how loud it is. âYou can say itâs my bad modeling,â she says, and she touches Alaskaâs arm like sheâs sharing a secret. Alaska freezes, afraid of somehow scaring her away. âI have no idea why Raja chose me, but Iâm milking it for as long as she thinks Iâm worth it.â
âYou are,â Alaska says without thinking, and then she sucks in a breath, watching Sharonâs face for confusion - or something worse.
Instead, Sharon leans forwards a little, frowning. âWhat?â she says, louder than before, and Alaska canât help but sag with relief.
âI said âgood ideaâ!â she shouts, and Sharonâs face splits into another smile.
âLetâs go outside!â she says. âI canât hear a goddamned thing!â
And before Alaska can respond either way (yes - of course sheâd say yes), Sharonâs grabbing her hand and leading her through the crowd, towards a pair of sliding glass doors near the back. Her ears ring as they exit the house, the sudden silence more of a relief than sheâd expected, and Sharon slides the door shut behind them, muffling the music even further.
âThank god,â Sharon moans. âI thought my head was going to burst in there.â
âReally?â Alaska teases. âThat seems kind of lame for someone who throws the best parties on campus to say.â
âHalloween parties,â Sharon corrects, like Alaska doesnât already know. âAnd Iâm usually already drunk by the time those start. Whateverâs in those kegs doesnât seem to be doing the trick, tonight.â
âYou mean Iâm talking to a sober Sharon Needles right now?â Alaska cries, pulling her face in exaggerated shock. âNo.â
âYes,â Sharon says, nodding gravely. âItâs horrible.â
âI donât think you were even sober for Dujourâs class,â Alaska says, shaking her head. âCan I take a picture with you? This needs to be documented.â
âWell, I canât believe you were sober for Dujourâs class,â Sharon says, her tooth gap on full display. âIt was a nightmare even when I was drunk out of my mind.â
âThat was a government class!â Alaska laughs, staring at Sharon in amused disbelief. âYou needed that class more than I did!â
âI had your notes!â Sharon says. âIâm sure I got more out of those than I would have out of Dujourâs mouth.â
âYouâre welcome, by the way,â Alaska drawls. âIâm pretty sure my notes are the reason you donât have to retake that class.â
âI said thank you!â Sharon says, her defensive tone undercut by the huge smile on her face. Alaska finds herself mirroring it, Sharonâs grin infectious.
âYou were drunk!â Alaska tells her. âThat hardly counts!â
âThen allow me to say it again: thank you, my hero,â Sharon says, and then, before Alaska can tell her that sarcasm doesnât count either, she grabs her hand and bows over it, kissing her knuckles.
Alaska is certain that her face goes at least five shades of red, Sharonâs lips soft and burning against her fingers. âYouâre welcome,â she says weakly, as lightly as she can with her heart threatening to pound out of her chest. Suddenly, she is very, very aware that she and Sharon might as well be alone together, the sliding glass door practically a chasm between the quiet beach and the roaring party.
Sharon lets go of her hand as soon as sheâs done, giving Alaska another gap-toothed grin. Her lips are black to match her bathing suit, her blue eyes done up in shades of grey, and Alaskaâs breath catches in her throat as she watches the party lights dance across her face.
âNow,â Sharon says, like nothing remotely romantic or intimate has just occurred. Alaska thinks she might have whiplash. âDo you like swimming?â
âWhat?â Alaska asks, her face still burning from earlier and her brain struggling to catch up.
âThis suit may not be functional, but tomorrowâs is,â Sharon explains, âI want someone to swim with me tomorrow. Sun tanning isnât exactly my thing.â
Alaska laughs at her. âNo, I wouldnât expect it to be,â she says dryly, and Sharon shrugs, grinning.
âWell? What do you say?â
Alaskaâs heart starts to quicken, her palms sweaty. She bites back the âOf course!â she wants to say, instead sticking to her teasing. The last thing she wants Sharon to think is that sheâs overeager - she does not, under any circumstances, want to fuck this up.
âWhat happened to Raja?â she asks. âOr are you only using her to get fame and fortune?â
Sharon snorts. âI wish,â she says, rolling her eyes up in a playful expression. Alaska is entranced. âBut I donât expect Rajaâs graduation project to make me anything but masturbation material.â
âSharon!â Alaska cries, unable to help the laugh that escapes her. A pleased smile curves across Sharonâs face.
âI only speak the truth,â she says. âAnd Raja doesnât like to swim - sheâs afraid of the water.â
âShe is?â
âMore specifically the undertow,â Sharon says. âI donât like thinking about it much either.â
Alaska twists her lips in acknowledgement. âI guess, butââ
The sliding glass door suddenly opens with a sharp bang, making both women jump and Alaska cut her sentence short with a small yelp. She whips her head around to look at the door, already upset at being interrupted. Dammit.
Willam stands in the doorway, looking somewhere between her fourth or fifth drink, grinning like a loon. ââLaska!â she shouts, much too loudly. âCourtneyâs chugging the keg! Courtney!â
âCourtney?â Alaska repeats, disbelieving. As a rule, Courtney only drinks things served with at least one toothpicked fruit - Alaska doesnât think she even knows what cheap college beer tastes like.
âItâs crazy!â Willam yells, eyes wide, and she walks over to grab Alaskaâs wrist, tugging her inside. âCome quick, or youâll miss it!â
âWait!â Sharon says, and Alaska stops, resisting Willamâs drunken attempts to keep pulling her with a strength that only comes with the will to please Sharon Needles. âTomorrow?â
âIâm there,â Alaska manages to say without stuttering, and her heart flutters as she says it, the glitter on Sharonâs bathing suit sparkling attractively in the moonlight. âWhen?â
â7 pm, by the lighthouse?â
Alaska has plans to go to some bonfire with Willam and Courtney at seven, but it takes her all of two seconds to decide that itâs not at all important. âPerfect.â
Sharon smiles, and itâs sweeter than the grins sheâs been shooting Alaska all night. Alaska could look at her forever. âItâs a date,â she says.
Alaska is pretty sure her heart actually stops.
All she can do is stare, her jaw slackened and her cheeks burning, for a too-long moment. Sharon gives her a strange look, laughing a little.
âAre you alright?â
âUm,â Alaska says, because sheâs stupid and her brain stopped functioning the moment Sharon arrived on the beach in that fucking bikini. âIâm, uhââ
Willam, always helpful only on accident, suddenly gives a particularly hard tug against her arm, and Alaska is jerked back into the thumping music of the party, bodies pressing against her as Willam leads her straight into the middle of a crowd. Courtney is in the middle, upside down and downing beer from the keg, but Alaska can hardly bring herself to care. Instead, her mind keeps wandering towards Sharon, her blonde hair nearly white in the moonlight and her eyes glittering with amusement.
Itâs a date.
She doesnât know if the way her stomach flips is out of nerves or excitement.
DAY FOUR OF SPRING BREAK
The sunset is gorgeous.
Itâs pink and yellow and orange, glittering across the water with blinding light, the clouds streaks of bright coral against the sunâs burning yellow. Alaska glances at its arresting beauty, sighing appreciatively, and then she goes back to staring at the woman next to her.
Sharonâs swimsuit is a bright red one piece, with cute white pinstripes that nod to the forties, the sharp angles of her waist adding to the post-war feeling. The plunging neckline, however, is very much reminiscent of the modern era, and is very much what Alaskaâs eyes keep getting stuck on.
âIsnât it beautiful?â Sharon says, her eyes still on the horizon. âItâs like looking at sherbet ice cream.â
âMhm,â Alaska says, raising her gaze a little to rest on Sharonâs face. Her makeup is lighter, today, with only a bold red lip and winged black eyeliner, and Alaska finds the painted on beauty mark charming. âLove it.â
Sharon turns to look at her, and she wrenches her gaze quickly to look out at the sunset, her face burning. âSomething tells me youâre not looking at the sunset,â she says, her voice teasing, and Alaska blushes so hard she can feel her ears burning. She looks at Sharon apologetically, unable to meet her eyes.
âI - uh - Iâmââ
âIâll make sure to let Raja know,â Sharon continues, giving Alaska a fond smile. Alaska immediately stops attempting to say anything, her heart bouncing around her ribcage. âShe wasnât so sure about this one, so itâll be good to hear.â
âWhat?â Alaska asks, completely lost, her ears still warm. âI donât - what?â
Sharon frowns, glancing down at herself. âThe swimsuit? You want it, donât you?â
Realization clicks in Alaskaâs end, and suddenly, relief along with a strange hint of disappointment has her nearly falling over. Sharonâs completely oblivious - thank god. âYes. Yes, the swimsuit. Thatâs what I was looking at.â
Sharon doesnât look convinced, her eyes lingering on Alaskaâs face. Alaska feels like a butterfly pinned to styrofoam. âYou do like it, right? Iâm not just assuming?â
âNo,â Alaska says hurriedly, surprised. Sharon sounds almost insecure, unsure of herself, and itâs something Alaska never wants to hear in her voice again. She keeps forgetting that Sharon isnât used to dressing like this, no matter how much it seems like sheâs doing it to torture Alaska specifically. âI love it. Itâs very forties.â She stumbles over the âfâ, meaning to say flattering and chickening out at the last second.
Sharon grins. âThanks,â she says. âYou can relax, Iâll stop fishing for compliments.â
Alaska doesnât know whether to feel relieved at the unintentional save, or to try and defend Sharon from herself - she doesnât know which way is up most of the time, around this woman, so this is completely hopeless. She finally speaks after a too-long pause. âYou werenâtââ
âLetâs go! Iâve been dying to get in the water all day!â
Sharon grabs Alaskaâs hand, and Alaska doesnât breathe the entire time Sharon drags her towards the water, Sharonâs fingers curled around hers the only thing on her mind. She finally sucks in a breath as they hit the water, the cold making goosebumps blossom across her skin.
âJesus!â Sharon says, stopping as soon as the water reaches her thighs. It takes actual effort for Alaska to keep her eyes from lingering there. âNo one told me it was freezing!â
She squeezes Alaskaâs hand harder as the waves come up to hit her stomach. Alaska feels too warm to notice the water brushing across her own thighs, her heart in her throat.
âDo you want to get out?â she asks, even as disappointment sinks in her gut. Relief wars with it - she wants to spend more time with Sharon, spend all of her time with Sharon, but her anxiety tells her that if she spends too much time with her, sheâll fuck it up. She doesnât know if she can handle that.
Sharon shoots her a scandalized look, letting go of her hand to turn towards her. Alaska tries not to mourn the loss. âOf course not!â Sharon says. âWe just have to go in all at once.â
Alaska pulls a face at the idea. Sheâs never liked the âbandaidâ approach to things. âAre you sure?â
âWhat?â Sharon teases. âAre you scared?â
âYes,â Alaska says plainly, and she smiles at the laugh Sharon lets out.
âBe brave for me?â she asks, and Alaskaâs stomach does several somersaults.
âOf course,â she says, and Sharon grins.
Alaska follows Sharon as she wades out further, both girls shrieking as the icy water comes up to hit some new section of skin. Sharon stops as the water comes just below her shoulders, her hair streaming behind her like a mermaidâs. She looks enchanting in the orange of the setting sun, the blue of her eyes almost electric as the sun shines across them.
âCount of three,â Sharon says. âWe duck under.â
Alaska nods. Sharon takes a deep breath.
âOne,â she says.
âTwo,â Alaska counts. Sharonâs smile is blinding.
âThree.â
They duck under, Sharon heedless of her makeup and Alaska steeling herself for the shock of the cold. Itâs freezing, but her body soon acclimates to the temperature of the water, and she surfaces feeling refreshed.
She comes up before Sharon, so she watches as the other woman comes up for hair, her hair slicked back from her face and her mascara bleeding a little, a huge grin splitting her face. She looks stunning, and Alaskaâs breath gets caught in her throat as she takes her in, her eyes bright with excitement.
âIâve been wanting to do that since Raja told me she wanted me to model for her,â Sharon laughs. âAfter I figured out she wasnât joking, of course.â
âOf course she wasnât joking,â Alaska says before she can stop herself. âYouâre perfect for this.â
Sharon raises her eyebrows. âBelieve me, Iâm not. Her suits are doing most of the work. All I have to do is stand the way Raja tells me to stand.â
âPlease,â Alaska blurts out. âThe suits are hardly the reason Iâve been watching the photoshoots.â
Thereâs a moment of stunned silence. Alaska thinks very hard about ducking under the water again and not coming up again.
Sharon is looking at her with a curious expression, and Alaska suddenly needs to get away right now.
âWhat do you mââ
âI have to go,â Alaska interrupts, panic making everything too much, too fast. âI just remembered, I have - something.â She starts wading towards shore, but Sharon grabs her wrist.
âAlaska, wait,â she says, and Alaska turns to look at her, avoiding her eyes. Her eyes get caught on Sharonâs lips, set in an adorable pout, and she has just enough time to imagine what itâs like to kiss her before she rips her gaze away. âWhat plans?â
âUmââ Alaska says, completely panicking, Sharonâs fingers too warm around her wrist and her eyes too intense on Alaskaâs. The sun is dimming, casting them in purplish grey. She casts about for a good excuse, and she lets out a breath when she finds one. âThereâs a bonfire. Iâm already late - I promised Willam I would go with her.â
âThe bonfire?â Sharon asks, letting go of Alaskaâs wrist. Alaska turns to go again, cursing when she hears Sharon start to follow her. âWhy didnât you say anything?â
âI donât know,â Alaska says, even though she knows exactly why. They make it onto the beach, and Alaska grabs her towel, drying off hurriedly. âI - I donât know.â
âI doubt that,â Sharon says. âWhat did you mean, earlier?â
âWhat?â Alaska asks, playing dumb. She canât find her phone. Where the fuck is her phone?
âAlaska,â Sharon says, and she sounds frustrated. Alaska winces. âDo you like me?â
Alaska freezes, terror ripping through her as she scrambles for a denial. âNo,â she snaps out, panic making her voice hard and sharp. Sharon takes a step back, her eyes widening, and Alaska feels guilt drop into her stomach like a deadweight. She could cry at any moment. âI donât,â she continues, her voice gentler. She can only pray that Sharon doesnât hear the way her voice trembles. âThatâs ridiculous.â
âI didnât realize liking me was such a stupid idea,â Sharon says, hurt bleeding through her voice. Alaska wants to sink into the ground and die.
âNo, I didnât meanââ
âI know,â Sharon interrupts, her shoulders slumping. She looks put out - Alaska hadnât realized how badly she wanted to go swimming. âI know what you meant.â
Alaska finally finds her phone underneath Sharonâs towel, and relief courses through her as she shoves her feet into her sandals. âI have to go,â she says, and Sharon snorts, but thereâs no laughter in it.
âSo youâve said,â she says. âHave fun.â
âI will,â Alaska says, plastering fake-cheer all over herself, and she practically runs away, the image of Sharon and her closed-lipped smile, bathed in the moonlight and hair still dripping, burned into her mind.
She canât help but feel like sheâs just ruined something, but she has no idea what.
DAY FIVE OF SPRING BREAK
Alaska avoids Sharon to the best of her abilities, life threatening embarrassment making her stomach twist at even the thought of facing her after last night, but of course, she still ends up stumbling across her.
Sheâs getting margaritas with Willam and Courtney, which is fun only until they both reveal themselves to be wildly unsympathetic to her plight.
âSo you spent two nights flirting with her,â Willam says, after giving Alaska a long, unimpressed stare when sheâd finally answered Courtneyâs incessant questions about her âdateâ, âonly to freak out when things started to actually go somewhere.â
âNothing was going anywhere,â Alaska snaps. âI fucked it up, and she noticed.â
âDidnât you say you two were on a date?â Courtney asks, frowning. They move up in line. âSounds to me like thatâs what she wanted.â
âShe obviously called it a date as a joke,â Alaska tells her. âIâm not stupid.â
âDebatable,â Willam says. Alaska could punch her.
âYou should at least try to talk to her,â Courtney says. âYou canât just run away from her in the middle of a date and never talk to her again.â
âThat shit ainât right,â Willam agrees, and Alaska rolls her lips between her teeth.
âIt wasnât a date,â she reiterates. âAnd I canât talk to her. I have no idea where sheâs staying - she could be anywhere right now.â
Courtney frowns at her. âSheâs right there,â she says, pointing down the beach. âI thought youâd noticed.â
Alaska follows her gaze to find Sharon and Raja in the middle of another photoshoot, this time close enough for Sharonâs feet to be in the water.
Alaska canât look away from her.
Sheâs dressed in a two piece, the bottoms designed to look like high waisted blue shorts and the top a black and white pinstriped bra, cut into a sweetheart neckline that suits her perfectly. Her hair is done up in round, loose curls, spilling over her shoulders and back, and a white sailor hat sits cock-eyed at the top of her head. Her lips are painted a bright red, pulled into a pout as she salutes the camera, her other hand at her hip.
âI canât go down there,â Alaska says, shaking her head. âI canât go up to her and try to talk about my predatory behavior when she looks like that.â
âPredatory is one way to say it,â Willam says, and Courtney hits her on the arm. She turns to look at Alaska eagerly.
âYouâre not predatory, silly,â she says. âYou have a crush, and so does Sharon. Go down there and fix what youâve broken.â
âOuch,â Alaska says, and her stomach twists nervously at the thought of doing what Courtney tells her to. âAnd I canât - she doesnâtâ She doesnât think of me like that.â
âHow are you supposed to know when all you do is stare at her like some stalker?â Willam asks, and Alaska shakes her head. They reach the counter, now at the front of the line.
âI just know,â Alaska says, resisting the urge to stamp her foot with the frustration thatâs bubbling up inside her. They just donât get it. âI have, despite popular belief, actually held a conversation with her. Iâm not doing it.â
âBut howââ
âWelcome, ladies - how can I help you?â the cashier asks, giving them all a friendly smile. Alaska relaxes as Willam and Courtney start ordering, relieved that their interrogation is temporarily put on hold.
She sneaks a glance back at Sharon, whoâs now crowded with Raja around the camera, no doubt looking at the pictures theyâve just taken. Sheâs sure theyâre all wonderful.
Sharonâs ass looks great in those shorts.
Alaskaâs never going to be able to look her in the eye again.
DAY SIX OF SPRING BREAK
âThis is stupid,â Willam says. âI canât believe how stupid youâre being right now.â
âItâs called self-preservation,â Alaska says.
Theyâre sitting on their blanket, sneaking glances at Raja and Sharon, in the same place theyâd been for most of the week. Sharon is stunning, in an eggplant bikini that suits her pale skin, made to look like itâs been wrapped and twisted around her body. Her makeup is dark to match the suit, and sheâs so hot that Alaska thinks she might die.
âRight,â Willam says drily. âWhy wonât you just go talk to her?â
âBecause,â Alaska sighs forlornly, her heart fluttering as Sharonâs lips twist up into a smile. âI canât.â
Sharonâs eyes flick over to her, and her heart skips a beat. She tries not to feel hurt when Sharon immediately looks back at Raja, seemingly without giving Alaska a second thought.
âI donât think she wants me to, anyway.â
DAY SEVEN OF SPRING BREAK
Itâs not the last day of break, but it is the last day theyâre on the beach, and Alaskaâs plan is simple: avoid Sharon, mope around while Courtney and Willam rub their happiness in her face, and maybe sneak a peek at Sharonâs next bathing suit.
Willam, unfortunately, has never had very much respect for Alaskaâs plans.
âI invited some people over,â Willam says from her spot next to Alaska on the couch, her eyes never leaving her phone. Her voice is nonchalant, but Alaska still shoots her a wary look.
âWho?â
Camping out in the Belli familyâs beach house had been Alaskaâs idea, a stroke of genius sheâd had the previous night. She canât seem to avoid Sharon successfully on the beach, so sheâll leave it entirely. She wonât be able to catch sight of Sharon if sheâs sitting on a couch watching The Golden Girls on Willamâs enormous television.
âRaja, Jinkx,â Willam lists. âSharon.â
Alaskaâs heart does a swan dive into her stomach.
âThat had better be a joke.â
Willam looks up at her. âItâs not.â
Alaska turns off the tv, turning to face Willam full-on, murder in her heart. âWillam, why the fuck would you do that?â
âBecause Raja asked if she could,â Willam says, and then, âand because I thought it might be a nice opportunity for you to make out with her.â
âWillam,â Alaska hisses, panicking. âHow could you?â
âYouâll be fine,â Willam says, hopping off the couch. âThough I suggest you get ready - theyâll be here in half an hour, and Sharon and Raja are coming straight from their photoshoot.â
âNo,â Alaska breathes, aghast.
âYes,â Willam says. âAt least go put some mascara on. You look like youâre a hospital patient.â
âI hate you,â Alaska says, and she really feels it.
âYouâre wearing pajamas,â Willam tells her. âThey have âcuntâ printed across the ass.â
âFuck,â Alaska says, and she stands up. âJesus fuck, Willam!â
âItâll be good for you,â Willam says, as Alaska races past her towards the stairs. âCourtney agrees!â
Alaska makes sure to slam the door to the bathroom extra hard.
-
Sharon arrives in a red one piece that practically screams âlustâ, and it is the most homophobic thing to have ever happened to Alaska.
Itâs wine dark and strapless, and the front of it is laced like a corset, allowing Sharonâs pale skin to peek through. The sweetheart neckline perfectly hugs her, emphasizing her full chest and her collarbone. Her lips are painted to match, her eyeshadow dark, and Alaska might go into cardiac arrest just looking at her. Itâs like looking at a 15th century bar wench. Alaska wants her to pin her up against the wall andâ
âWe brought wine?â Raja says, her deep voice startling Alaska back into her body, and she realizes that sheâs been making them wait in the doorway for a full minute.
âGreat,â Alaska says, her face on fire, and she lets the two of them in, trying not to wince at the cordial smile Sharon gives her. She makes a note to kill Willam later for making her answer the door.
âYou can set it on the counter,â she directs, and Sharon follows Raja into the kitchen, where Willam, Jinkx, and Courtney are waiting. Alaska lets out a breath as she closes the door, trying to decide if sheâs relieved or hurt that Sharon doesnât want to be alone with her.
She doesnât know why Willamâs decided that this is going to be helpful in any way, but she supposes she has to deal with it, now. Deal with being around her crush whoâs disgusted that she has a crush on her for who knows how long.
Not the ideal way to spend her last night on vacation.
ââLaska!â Willam calls. âCome in here! Weâre trying to decide what to play!â
Alaska sighs, steeling herself for more of Sharonâs apathy.
Fuck my life.
-
Willam, Courtney, Raja, and Jinkx all conveniently vote to play Seven Minutes in Heaven, despite Sharon and Alaskaâs vehement protests and the fact that none of them have been in high school for at least three years.
Theyâd found an old wine bottle that Willamâs mother had filled with sand and dried flowers on an end table somewhere, and theyâd emptied it, Courtney suggesting that they select the first two participants by spinning it.
Conveniently, and without any sort of finagling of Willamâs, or strategic flicks from Courtney, or purposeful nudges from Raja, the bottle lands first on Alaska, and then on Sharon.
Theyâve been standing in Willamâs locked closet together in awkward silence for two minutes.
âWell,â Alaska says, when she canât stand it anymore. She can just barely see Sharonâs face in the sliver of light coming through the bottom of the door. âThis is awkward.â
Sharon shifts, and Alaska blushes as her hand accidentally brushes the side of Sharonâs thigh, snapping her hand back quickly. Sharon sighs, sounding annoyed. Guilt twists into Alaskaâs stomach at the sound. âSorry,â she says. âI didnât want this to happen.â
Thereâs a pause. âClearly,â Sharon says, and though her voice is light, thereâs an edge of bitterness to it that twists into Alaska like a knife.
âIâm being serious,â she says, desperate to make Sharon at least understand that sheâs not trying to force herself on her. âI didnât ask Courtney to kick the bottle like that.â
âI know, Alaska,â Sharon says, and she only sounds more irritated. Alaska winces.
âIâve been trying to keep my distance these past few days! They just wonât let it go, even though Iââ
âI know,â Sharon snaps, and Alaska slams her jaw shut, jumping a little. âYou made that perfectly clear on Thursday. I donât need to be reminded.â
Alaska scrambles to appease her, guilt making her feel ill. âBut Iââ
She suddenly stops herself, her brain finally processing Sharonâs words and coming up with only a series of question marks. âWhat?â
âYouâre not interested in me,â Sharon says, and she sounds upset. âI get that. But believe it or not, it hurts when someone tells you they canât stand to think of you like that repeatedly. Especially whenââ she cuts herself off, inhaling quickly. Alaska feels hope flutter through her like a butterfly, though she tries to crush it as soon as it comes. What if-?
âEspecially when what?â Alaska probes gently, and she lightly touches Sharonâs arm, trying not to let her heart pound too hard as she does.
âJesus Christ,â Sharon says, but she sounds defeated. âThis is embarrassing.â
Alaskaâs hope spikes. âSharon?â
âOnly because I can make sure we never see each other again,â Sharon says, voice threatening. âAnd only because if Iâm going to tell you, itâs going to be while weâre playing a game I didnât think Iâd even hear about ever again.â She pauses, and Alaska waits, her heart pounding loudly in her ears.
âI have a crush on you,â Sharon says eventually, her voice quiet and a little shaky. âBut, only like, a tiny one - it isnât a problem, I swear. I wonât make it awkward.â
Thereâs a brief moment of silence, in which Alaska stares at Sharon, numb with shock.
Then, happiness comes bursting in.
Alaska lunges forwards to kiss Sharon, unable to wait for any longer, pure, disbelieving joy flooding her body with adrenaline. Sharonâs lips are soft and warm, and she makes a muffled noise of surprise against Alaskaâs mouth, freezing up underneath her hands.
She lightly pushes Alaska away, and Alaska goes willingly, panic shooting through her like lightning. âSharon, Iâm so sorry, that was uncââ
âI thought you didnât like me,â Sharon says, her eyes wide. âYou told me on the beach that the idea was ridiculous.â
Alaska stares at her for a moment, speechless. Itâs like Sharonâs just shown her a sports replay where sheâd fumbled the ball and then blamed it on the player whoâd thrown it to her. âThatâs because I was scared,â she says after a moment. âI thought you were disgusted.â
âDisgusted?â Sharon repeats, disbelieving laughter bubbling over her words. âAlaska, thatâs possibly the stupidest thing Iâve ever heard.â
âRude,â Alaska says, but sheâs too elated to really feel it. Sheâd been so stupid - Sharon likes her. Sharon has a crush on her. Itâs too good to be true.
âSo the swimming suits really were working?â Sharon asks, and this time, itâs Alaskaâs turn to laugh disbelievingly.
âWere you distracting me on purpose?â she asks, half shrieking, and Sharon grins that bright grin again.
âAt first? No. But when I saw how you were looking at me at Rajaâs partyâŚâ
âEvil!â Alaska cries. âI canât believe I ever had a crush on someone so cruel! Iâmââ
Sharon cuts her off with another kiss, and Alaska melts into it, sighing as Sharonâs fingers come up to thread through her hair, somehow managing to avoid its tangles. She slides her hands around Sharonâs waist, pulling her closer so that theyâre pressed up against each other, relishing in the feeling of Sharonâs warmth all along her body.
She moans as Sharon deepens the kiss, breathing in the smell of cigarettes and the ocean. She hums, pleased, and Sharon pushes her forwards so that sheâs flat against the narrow wall, sliding her hands down, down, down, over her breasts and her stomach and coming to rest on the waist of her jean shorts.
Alaska breaks off the kiss with a gasp, already squirming with pleasure. âJesus Christ,â she breathes, and Sharon grins, giving her another quick peck on the lips.
âYou want this?â she asks, her voice husky, and it goes straight to Alaskaâs panties.
âYes,â she says. âPleaââ
A loud knock on the closet door has them flying apart, and Alaska tries desperately to will the flush away from her cheeks as they hear the lock being undone.
The door swings open, and Alaska squints her eyes against the sudden brightness and Willamâs smirk.
âSeven minutes are up,â she says, looking them both up and down. âWould you two like to request more time?â
âNo,â Alaska snaps, just as Sharon says, âYes.â She flushes at the contradiction.
Willam eyes them smugly. Alaska wants to kill her. âIâll let you two figure it out,â she says, taking a step back. âThereâs chips downstairs for when you guys want to replenish your energy.â
âFuck off, Willam,â Sharon says, and Willam smirks.
âSure,â she says, and then sheâs out of the room before Alaska can hit her like she wants to.
âI hate her,â Alaska says, and Sharon grabs her hand, giving her a sweet smile. Alaskaâs heart melts.
âI love her,â Sharon says. âSheâs the reason I can do this.â
Alaska rolls her eyes, although the smile she canât help splitting across her face takes away its edge. âFine,â she says. âBut I still hate her. Iâve never been so stressed in my life.â
Sharonâs grin morphs into a sly smile, and she tugs Alaska back towards her, arranging her hand so that it rests on her waist. âI think I know a way to relieve some of that.â
Alaska raises an eyebrow, a thrill running through her as she steps closer. âOh? Do tell.â
âI think Iâd prefer to show you,â Sharon says, and then she pulls Alaska in for another searing kiss, and Alaska melts completely.
Thank god for bathing suits, and thank god for Willam.

Gemini Runaway

"God! Can they stop kicking my bladder?" I groaned through my teeth. I had been laid up in bed for weeks now since I was reaching my final trimester of the miracle pregnancy.
Klaus vamped in the room tossing me a blood bag before he crawled into the bed beside me. "I wish I could help you, love. I don't like seeing you in pain."
"I know you don't." Raising my hand to the side of his face I ran my thumb over his stubble until for no reason I started crying. The reason I hate being a vampire. "What if something goes wrong?"
He tilted his head to the side, clicking his tongue. "RaeâŚ"
"No this is serious, Nik!" I drew my hand back shifting so I was facing him more head on. "I mean besides the fact that they most likely will have vampire, werewolf and witch blood running through their veins. How are we supposed to prepare for this? We're immortal, yes but we've never been parents before. What if I'm a bad mother and-"
He takes my hands in his, cutting me off, squeezing my hands. "Raelyn, stop it. You have nothing to worry about. You are the greatest person I have met. There's nothing you can't overcome."
"I love you.." I mumbled, snuggling my head closer into his chest. "I don't want to ever be separated from you."
He wrapped his arms around my waist as much as he could with my belly so grown where his shirts were actually almost fitting me now. "I love you too. And if that were to ever come to pass. I know that you and I would do everything in our power to get back to one another."
Entering the dining area near the college I saw Caroline who waved us over. Jacob and I were in charge of the girls including his baby daughter. Hayley had asked for Cami's help in locating the next cure so they didn't stay in town long. Sliding into the booth I smiled at my friend. "Hey Care, so what's going on?"
"Damon apparently went into your uncle's house and found these. He was looking for something called the Ascendant." She laid pictures of Jo as a kid out of the table. One photo had her and Kai wearing Christmas sweaters together.
Jacob and I shared a silent glance until Alina spoke up, hitting her hands on the table. "That's in Jo's dresser. We've seen it!"
"OkayâŚwhat's it supposed to do?" She asked shifting her gaze back up to us.
Andrea was scribbling on a coloring page sitting in my brother's lap. "It's the key to a prison world. Our uncle Joshua created it. And our mother helped banish Jo's twin there."
"Because he killed four of his siblings and wanted to be the Coven leader." Caroline finished his sentence.
Raising a brow at her I wasn't following. "Yeah uh how exactly do you know that?"
"Jo told me at Friendsgiving. Right when we apparently met her other siblings Luke and Liv." Caroline said.
Sucking in a breath it was starting to make sense why my uncle suddenly showed up and wanted the Coven power back. "And if Damon showed up at his house looking for it then my uncle thought that he was trying to help me release him. That's why he showed up here the other day wanting me to give him the power."
"Wait, you talked about releasing him. If he gets out he will kill Jo." Jacob whipped his head around in shock.
Turning my head in his direction I slumped my shoulders. "I'm aware, J. It wasn't going to happen. I just threatened him that I would if he came after my kids again."
"Geez Rae." He ran a hand through his hair before my vision began to blur in front of me for some reason. Gripping the table in my hands I collapsed over.
"Mommy!" Hope and Missy cried out seeing that I had blacked out.
Blinking my eyes open I rose to my feet. I looked around recognizing the Gemini house in front of me. Walking inside the house I gasped actually being able to go over the threshold. âWe meet again, siphon girl.â
âKai!â I gasped stumbling into the doorway seeing him standing in front of me with Bonnie being dragged behind him. âBonnie, are you okay?â
She winced. âRaelyn, what are you doing here?â
âI donât know why, but I can help you.â I raised my hand but when I attempted to throw fire at him it didnât work at all.
Kai smiled wickedly, he released his hold on Bonnie striding up to me. âMagic is hard isnât it, RaelynâŚNow I have a bone to pick with you actually that you are here.â
âUrgh Kai!â I grunted when he shoved me against the wall holding my hands above my head.
He got up in my face whispering a threat. âI donât like you very much. You see I have heard about your great power from Bonnie over there. And I am frustrated that you said you would release me and then you backed out.â
âHow do you know about that?â I questioned knowing he shouldnât know.
Kai moved his hands around my neck. âWhen you did your little power transfer back to my dear old dad. I saw your memories. So just know this RaelynâŚ.Kai Parker is coming to town.â He snapped my neck with me blacking out again.
âOh my god, Rae!â Caroline was on the ground when I shot awake. She grabs my shoulders with me seeing my daughters all looking at me horrified.
I slumped my shoulders, regaining what had just happened to me. I hadnât blacked out to the prison world since I turned into a vampire. âI just saw KaiâŚ.â
âDid he say something?â Jacob asked, still holding onto his daughter.
âHe said heâs coming to Mystic Falls and heâs going to use Bonnie to do it.â
Caroline sighed offering me her hand tugging me up to stand. âI think you and Jacob need a night of fun. Considering you two have done nothing but chase down leads and deal with helping us save Bonnie.â
âWhat about the girls? We canât take them to a bar?â Jaocb asked the blonde vampire.
She smiled, intertwining her hand with mine and Jaocbâs. Missy was coloring with Andrea. Hope and Alina were watching our conversation even though they didnât understand what was happening. âSimple compulsion Jacob. Because I can tell you no one on campus takes vervain so we have the green light.â
âOkay, okay. But then we have to find a way to bring Bonnie back. She is one of your best friends after all.â Holding my hands up I told the blonde knowing she missed her as much as Elena.
Caroline threw her hands up in the air and we all followed her down the street to the nearest bar. âExactly but letâs go have drinks.â Even on our way I couldnât shake the feeling that if Kai came into town it wouldnât end well for anyone who got in his way from what Jo had told me.
