Maybe something like Angels they meet exclusively refer to him as The Sword and he haaaates that

Or it explains why he's so good with handling an Angel Blade

Or why he's so resilient for Just A Dude, because he was literally built to contain an archangel. Maybe he heals a bit faster than a regular guy, but he's never noticed before because Sam heals at a similar rate.

Maybe it would explain why he gets so twitchy about religion and churches, because it's baked into the loaf that he should end up as the vessel for Michael but Dean being Dean subconsciously rebels.

Or there's a conversation where Cas reveals that whenever he heals him he has to physically put the breaks on his own Grace because Dean's body pulls it in like a magnet. It's why he's so susceptible and sensitive to Angel magic, like time travel and alternate reality stuff.

Or sometimes Dean can read tiny bits of Enochian or understand a tiny bit of Latin but then when he realises it's happening and he's aware of it the ability immediately goes......

WHAT’S YOUR ELDRITCH LUCIFER’S PERSONALITY LIKE?? Sorry if this question makes no sense

Tbh I cooked up a whole narrative for it (because I'm dying to fill non-existent lore)... But it's so long and scattered so I'll yap about it someday.

Anyway, here are the ideas I revolve with:

All of these are just from random thoughts focusing on the ' BAD ' side + curiosity idk " my physical shell can be torn apart, smothered, stretched, bent by my own mind " (Angel Lucifer): Innocent face, underlying horror. (Canon/demon Lucifer): One body, that feels like two souls.

- somehow I can connect this with the ideas in Angel Luci's behavior LOL im too sleepy to fix a timeline for it atm.

Evil is a part of him that can't be erased so he learned to overcome it, but never fully accepted it. So upon his silly demeanor, beneath are the true reasons why he is banished from heaven. Sob story? Yeah, that's what they believe in...

It's funny you pointed out that Alastor's eye was twitching from the moment Lucifer burst through the hotel doors, yet Lucifer was the one who more readily went for the insults and death threats. We all give Alastor shit for throwing himself recklessly at Adam, but he does know how and when to show restraint.

Alastor didn't like Lucifer from the beginning, but it was Lucifer who started the antagonism. Alastor commented on his height and Lucifer went straight to calling him a bellhop and a has-been. My guy, you just met him, dial it back a little.

The only shit I give Alastor about his fight with Adam is that the idiot didn't bring an angelic weapon with him. He really went in there with nothing but a stick and his powers and called it good. For fucks sake, the tendrils he summoned were using weapons to take out Exorcists, there's no way he couldn't have gotten his hands on one.

I 100% believe that Alastor could've taken Adam out if he brought an actual weapon with him. Like, come on, he was playing with Adam throughout most of their fight, and there were several moments when Adam's back was to turned that he could've taken advantage of, but didn't.

I think their fight actually demonstrated a lot of Alastor's self-control and skill. The way he effortlessly dodged Adam's attacks, used his powers for offense instead of going hands-on himself, and how level-headed he was the entire time, even after Adam injured him, was impressive.

All the idiot needed to do was bring an angelic weapon with him, gOd why didn't he just bring one, the stupid, egotistical dumb dumb.

something i realized a while back, so we know that pre-canon charlie and lucifer barely had a relationship and only interacted with each other if needed and we know that lilith disappeared 7 years ago and only meets vaggie 3 years ago and from what we know charlie doesn't really have anyone else other than them and the others at the hotel

so that means for 4 years charlie was almost completely alone with the only person she had left only even calling her if he needed her to do something for him

writing this fic and it turned into adam being pissed at sam…. which just makes so much sense. because who tried to get adam out of the cage? it was dean! he tried to get death to save him and was forced to choose, which was an obvious choice. yes, sam is important to dean, but soulless!sam was getting to be a problem. and after he got it back, he should’ve been the one to initiate trying to get adam back because he knows, more intimately than anyone, what the cage does to a soul.

but he didn’t. and out of everyone, lucifer is the one to bring him up years later!! (and indirectly calls out sam’s chosen one complex and calls him selfish for not even bothering to mention adam and instead avoiding him….thinking about @shallowseeker’s posts about lucifer and his cognitive empathy and sam’s tendencies toward dissociation/avoidance/‘running away’) then he said michael was cuckoo for coco puffs after he admitted to planting hallucinations in sam’s head! and honestly it’s interesting that he would’ve just trusted lucifer (?!?!!!) of all people after that reveal. like yep, no use trying to save him, he’s already gone! and yeah this scene was scrapped but it haunts me because nothing would’ve changed. sam had already determined adam was a lost cause and it just makes no sense to me. they are allies with demons and soulless people! they know how to cure demons! like! sam and dean’s own souls have gone to shit! they should’ve at least talked!!! but no!!!!

it’s just crazy to me that the writers remembered michael and adam and then just left it. s11 could’ve been so much better with them and i stand by it. the drama we missed!
