I thought I was going to write a minific on it but instead here's some shit

I imagine this as a little game between Rufus and Tseng. Rufus will make Tseng suffer through meetings, turning up the intensity of the vibrator when Tseng stands before the other board members to speak. I also imagine Rufus doesn't do it every time Tseng speaks so he could make sure it remains a surprise.

I read up to "vibrating plug during his work day" then proceeded to get lost in thought about how Tseng would tremble as he came, lips slightly parted, and his breathing is so rugged but he's trying his hardest to mask it. The furrowing of his brows as he focuses abnormally hard on a form he's filled out a million times before.

I can clear as day picture sitting in the office with Tseng, filling out a mission report and you'd be just kind of sitting there noticing he’s a bit fidgety but not thinking too much of it. Until you're handing Tseng the report to go over, just to see that he's a bit sweaty and oddly...nervous? At least, that's how he'll come off.

How many times do you think Tseng would cum in your presence(i vote many, he's good at stealth orgasms) Palming his dick under his desk so you can't see as he watches you. Tseng already thinks you're oh so beautiful and wants to be used by you. Combined with the perverse nature of his actions and Rufus' torture, he just can't help himself.

The occasionally sloppy writing because he can't even think straight. I decided to do post-Advent Children since it seemed more hopeful

Upon hearing that you're going to have a baby, he is quite shocked. He wants to ask "with me?! You sure?!" All the bad things he's done still weigh on him

He vows to make sure his child doesn't have to make the same choices in their life. After the birth, he will struggle with this and you will have to rein him in if he gets too intense about it

At the beginning, he comes home often muttering, "They're teasing me again..." Of course, referring to the other Turks and his boss

Of course you wish you could spend more time together but Turks are always busy

Since geostigma is not contagious, you help at Healen Lodge until you're too far along

Expect Tseng to say "let me" or "you don't have to do that" quite often past this point. In fact, he turns into quite the nag and you bicker a few times

His new favourite way to unwind during his free time is to cuddle up next to you and rub your belly. He often falls asleep and you nap together

Those rare little smiles are all yours for now but so are his worried frowns for the future

A party is thrown for the two of you. Rufus gives a speech about the baby being the start of a new future

You appreciate the sentiment, as it's very much needed right now, but inwardly it just feels like pressure

The both of you feel like you're surviving, not necessarily thriving. Thankfully, Tseng is very good at surviving

You have a little anxiety at the prospect of Rufus getting subtly annoyed that he's technically losing his right hand man but he surprisingly takes it with grace

If he didn't, would Tseng be able to say no? But you're not put in that position

This eventually leads to the expansion of the Turks into a less violent and haphazard group under a new name

Shinra is supposed to be a force for good now and as a welcome side-effect, Tseng can go into semi-retirement, with time for MORE BABIES

this is not going to end well. rufus scrunches up his nose and stares at lucas, his pupils narrowed to slits. he's trying to find the right words, but it's more of a struggle than he's willing to admit. "shut up." great, nailed it. he shuts himself up then too, his own additional response there, but not quite willing to come out.

rufus grows quiet, nothing new. quiet was his default -- silent and observational. right now, his focus was getting his goddamn shoulder back in place. he's done it before, but it's no less annoying. the pain is a dull throb and he doesn't try moving his shoulder again. "you just... shouldn't have left anyone in the dark."

"Yeah, why do you think I would think that?" Lucas shot back. "You're Rufus fucking Shinra. You've-... You've done a lot. Who knows a Turk that can't even use his hands when it matter?" His fingers twitched slightly as he tried to move them, wincing at the pain.

He knew that he shouldn't make such a big deal out of it but the frustration was getting to him- which he knew didn't help the situation, but he couldn't help the emotions that bubbled up. "I'm sorry, sir." He muttered, sitting back a little and just trying to calm himself down a little, and let Rufus focus as he stared at his hands.

More toxic TsengRu in my mind for the win? Maybe. Angst, dubcon with a little fluff at the end. Well..whatever is fluffy for these two.

Like oh god. By default we know, Tseng and Rufus are....something. But what if Tseng didn't want this kind of life with Rufus? Tseng was content with their companionship but as time went on Rufus started wanting more and Tseng felt obligated to give him everything he asked for even when he truly wanted nothing more than to say no. Eventually coming to a point where Tseng's mentally broken by it but can't see his life any other way.

Losing Rufus is already a colossal blow to the MC, but now darling is gone too?

As the club's secretary, the darling is essential to the club's growth and sustainment of the resources they have left.

It would be significantly easier to rescue the darling than Rufus, since she was only en route to the police station.

The rescue will be conducted by Sephiroth. Aiding him will be Angeal and Genesis. Zack and Cloud are left behind to secure the goods gained from the heist.

Normally, rescue missions should be quiet and stealthy, right? Wrong. The boys are going guns blazing (or swords blazing for some of them in this case) for her.

Just like his days in the Wutai War, Sephiroth would cut down squadrons of police, intent on getting the darling back. HIS DARLING.

He swore to himself that he wouldn't let anyone dear to him slip away again, especially not the darling from his MC.

The car carrying the darling wasn't able to get far, as the driver was quickly killed by Genesis.

Before the patrol car crashed, Sephiroth quickly carried the darling out of it.

As Angeal and Genesis went to rendezvous with Zack and Cloud, Sephiroth flew off with the darling in the dark skies over Midgar, eventually coming to a stop in the abandoned playground.

He checked over the darling's injuries, getting out his healing material.

Thankfully, only a bullet gazed her abdomen, leaving behind only a small, easily treatable wound.

With the healing materia taking effect, the darling couldn't help but giggle, even as she locked eyes with Sephiroth.

"What can I do without you boys?"

Sephiroth gave her a warm smile, holding her worn body in his strong arms.

"Not much, I'm afraid," he retorted. His eyes conveyed a mix of emotions as he gives her a gentle squeeze, his fingers clasping hers tightly. "I..I thought..."

She gently caresses his warm cheek with her delicate hand, leaning into his muscular chest.

"I'm here," she whispered. "Thanks to you, Sephiroth."

His heart nearly exploded with happiness, a singular tear dropping from his eyes as he briefly embraced her... H

She rose to her feet and walked to a swing set, her eyes silently asking Sephiroth to join her as she sat down.

His PHS rung, the name of Zack flashing on the screen. When he took the call, he could hear the boy's worry in his voice. He told him that he and his sweetheart were okay, but it would be some time before they could return home.

They spent the rest of the night playing under the stars, with him pushing the darling on the swing.

While everyone celebrates the success of the score, Sephy and Darling spend their evening playing to their heart's content.

spoiler warning for chapter 4 of rebirth - if you're after ch.5, you're good to go

a little headcanon & i still haven't played further than chapter 8 so i cant say if there's anything else alluding to this but off of the back of that ask / posting that gifset, i wanted to talk about heid's reasons for doing what he did and a little deeper look into things.

so, firstly - he did it because it's his job. if we're going to be cynical about this - that's why he did it. he's not only the director of security, but he's the right hand to the president. and the right hand to the president is tasked with protecting him at all costs. i've headcanoned before that heid was once essentially like secret service for president shinra. so his job would be taking bullets. personally, i am so happy that rebirth let it be him and not tseng ( im sorry tseng frends ) i just felt this being heidegger gives him an edge to his character that i have KNOWN is there but feel i've been fighting to represent since remake came out.

secondly - he sees rufus as an almost 'son' like figure / the son of his good friend. i can imagine shinra making heidegger vow to protect rufus at some point. be that when rufus was a child or older. heidegger takes vows very seriously. he is not the kind of person to swear by something and be talking shit. yes, he lies. yes, he spins propaganda. but if he swears - and i mean - swears to do something. he will do it. look at how entirely willing he is to jump in harms way. there is not a slither of hesitation. the man WILL save rufus regardless of cost.

thirdly - guilt. this is my little dash of spice into this headcanon because i can't help myself. obviously, i've always written heid as somewhat idolising and looking up to shinra and willing to lay his life on the line for him. well, where was heid when shinra died? who knows. but the fact is, he feels he failed him. his friend is dead and he honestly believes he COULD HAVE stopped it but didn't. now, if anything, that encourages him to protect rufus all the more. he knows rufus can hold his own but fuck he'll be damned if he fails his old friend once more.

forth - a little sprinkle of the self-serving goodness. a little wound to the back for rufus' trust? or even his admiration? well, that aint too bad owo. now, i do believe that rufus already knows heidegger's capabilities / strengths / weakness. and i don't believe rufus is dumb enough to decide 'oh yea, i trust him entirely now' but I DO THINK rufus would at least appreciate it. hell, maybe it's nostalgic for him? maybe heidegger looked out for him as a kid? maybe it'll make them closer? (please ffvii).
