hi. rant about ybcpatrick at me. idk if I have any pertinent thoughts right now but I love angst so here's a thought: how much pain do you think he's in. just... constantly? like. he got sliced and diced. not just the hand, though that must be awful, but all his organs??? guy must be in agony whenever he gets enough of a breather to be aware of it

God he has to constantly be in agony. there's no way he ISNT in pain. he realistically shouldn't be alive or running around in any capacity like he is so I'm assuming there's something supernatural involved to keep him from dying. but he is definitely suffering. my personal headcanon is that while he's brainwashed he is so focused on his mission he just ignores the pain until his job is complete, which is kind of why he breaks down when he finally dies. his mission is complete. he protected the briefcase. also we do not talk about how the ybc lasts for at the very least a week and how after young volcanos none of them eat or drink water (im going to assume since they took the time to get cleaned up, Andy and pete did get something to eat or drink in between death valley and rat a tat). ESPECIALLY patrick. dude is running around for DAYS heavily almost fatally injured with no food or water. the amount of suffering he is in is probably SO severe. genuinely it's a miracle he didn't die from his injuries/condition alone in miss missing you. maybe he couldn't die until his job was complete.

One of thems a vampire. The shark toothed physically unable to speak tma kind. I was thinking Sandman but actually. Maybe Crab?? Because i always headcanon him mute and hard of hearing and Benzedrine like semi verbal and they communicate a lot with sign but the vampire thing is like. They send mental vibes through eye contact. Feelings and thoughts in a mindmeld. And i just think that fits them. Maybe he turns benz at some point and he becomes a vamp too. Sure the vampires whole purposes are like to like hunt humans sure but like whatever its fiction he can have human friends. Mostly human friends. Because the thing is the suitehearts in this are all Fucked up. Like they're juvie halls, they're in the underground, in the city, where the fears are. And sure better living sends all their monsters beyond the walls for the killjoys but like the desert is the other powers domain, the Witch and Destroya and whatever else i come up with. The fears are festering within the city, and especially in like the slums and the underground? They kind of run rampant, bli doesnt care, the peple there are seen as expendable, all future dracs. So the suitehearts face monsters and fears and shit, but it also means that those who are avatars of the entities, they're powerful within the city, where the entities are. So Sandman and Donnie, who i might be making avatars, have more powers than like, Cherri with the vast or Ghoul with the rot or something like i mentioned, since theyre way out in the desert, and not as connected.

Benzedrine- well I'm still thinking about it- but either hes an avatar, or his flavor of fucked up is like, he used to be a avatar. My main plan is that he survived a ritual and had like. A youngblood chronicles experience. So this would be like. A ybc/suitehearts/dager days/tma crossover 💀. So he's like still dealing with the aftermath of that. And suprise! Hes immensely fucked up by it. Maybe theres still traces of that power in him too, and sometimes his eyes flicker yellow.. (im so normal about this).

Donnie I'm not very sure on anything yet, if he'll be an avatar or not. If he is, maybe for the spiral? He just has the vibes.

Mr Sandman.. I think he'd be a good avatar for the end. With some power over or knowledge on death. Like the tma guy that could see the vines and knew how and roughly when everyone would die, at first he just saw it in dreams but then he started seeing the vines in real life too. Sandman has that power or like, the power to give someone a heart attack or something. I just know i want it to be freaky, and him to be really, really creepy.

Do you have any headcanons about that because I am absolutely brainrotted. If not anything about ybc in general will suffice you're always sosososooo right about them btw

I have so many headcanons you've come to the right place

after the ybc theres still some of that brainwashing left behind in patricks head. meaning that on occasion his eyes will turn yellow. he's not violent anymore but it's still terrifying to the other three. this happens mostly at night so they often wake up and find two glowing yellow eyes in the door to their room

patrick can't remember anything when he's brainwashed. meaning for his perspective he went from being tied up in a chair to an elevator in heaven. he didn't know he killed pete until pete eventually told him.

pete often has nightmares about patrick finding and killing him. he never tells patrick that. as does joe

during young volcanos patrick could see everything that was happening at the table. he wasn't able to fully process what had happened until long after. he never tells the others

the music used to brainwash patrick was his own: soul punk and fall out boy, as well as the music made by his close friends. even after he no longer reacts violently to music, he can still never hear certain songs the same way again

this is all i have for now but i also have a ton of aus and ideas i like talking about too<3

If someone says they hate Ochako because she’s weak and useless. (False because she literally held her own against Bakugo and he acknowledged her. Y’all just hate girls that get in the way of your gay ships. Or you’re sexist).

If they’re a Hisoka or Overhaul simp. Hisoka is a p3do. Overhaul is transphobic and a child abuser. And Palm too because wtaf people don’t find her creepy?

Any boy that likes Dragon Ball and starts his sentences with “but can they be-“

If they kin Hisoka, Overhaul, Terushima, Mineta, and Sangwoo (I know he isn’t an anime character). And Bakugo/Endeavor/Rei are dishonorable mentions. ( I love Bakugo but don’t @ me for this one)

If they call BLs yaoi.

If they over-feminize male characters. This is rooted in anti-Asian racism. Asian men are often de-masculinized because of the stereotype of them being short, having soft skin and features.

If they say “they’re just a fictional character” “it’s not that deep” “but the age of consent in Japan is....” because literature tends to reflect reality and vice versa. The characters you like say a lot about you. And for the age of consent thing, half of those people don’t even do their research on age of consent laws.

If they ship characters that are family or just any illegal ships in general

If they make excuses for Hisoka’s English VA

If they call themself a weeb (not too big of a red flag because most people don’t know that that words actually an insult used for non-Japanese people obsessed with Japanese culture). It’s the same as being called a Koreaboo.

If they hate Kirishima or Mina. Now it depends on the reason. If they bring up character flaws then that’s valid.

If they use the excuse of saying something is a shonen. Shonen literally just refers to the target audience. It’s not a genre and the MC isn’t always a boy.

If they didn’t cry or numb themself when watching Banana Fish. Because how could you not?

If they call people furries just because they like series like Beastars. Or if they bully furries in general. That’s also rooted in ableism.

If they say they want someone to be the Gon to their Hisoka and vice versa

If they say a character is straight in response to gay ships, especially when their sexuality isn’t confirmed

Erehisu and Ereri shippers. Actually anybody that ships Historia/Krista with any male characters, they’re usually homophobic. Now I’m a little bit more lenient with this one because I do acknowledge the validities behind Erehisu.

Anybody that says Reiner is straight because he literally says he’s not just into girls

People that get upset when someone says Hange uses all pronouns. ITS LITERALLY CANON.

Anybody that headcanons Sero as a dealer and that Suna smokes weed because of his eyes.

Anybody attracted to characters that are mass murderers

And to clarify, these are all my personal red flags. And I would never ever claim that Hisoka fans a p3dophiles. I would never use the term lightly.

Yeah some of these are @ me (like only 2 because I’m not ableist, homophobic, transphobic, or racist)

Some of these are jokes, don’t take all of it seriously.

But a lot of it is serious because some of these things are really harmful.

sweet post!ybc holiday headcanon: pete actually bought and wrapped a few gifts for patrick before everything went down, but since patrick’s not comfortable having a prosthetic yet and the boxes are hard to unwrap with only one hand, pete re-wraps everything with just tissue and gift bags so patrick will have an easier time opening everything.

when i do finally write the fic (i'm laid off work for a while so hopefully soon knock on fuckin wood), the band aren't exactly.. y'know.. FOCUSED on christmas, but pete still does his best. there's no tree or anything, but pete makes sure each of his boys has a couple small things wrapped up for them, set on the coffee table, ready for when they wake up. it's not a big christmas that first year, but pete tries, and it means a lot to everyone. :')
