#me (scrounging undetected autist whose ideal fashion sense is ''if i have to be seen at all: shrouded'') seeing encanto the other month.....#and on top of it all i LOVE slice of life. encanto being so focused on What It's About that there's so much of that + character / dynamic #also part of what i loved abt pixar luca. ppl like ''simple story but not a problem :)'' like YEAH thank god it's Also so slice of lifey #2021 what a year lol. though again i only Just saw encanto....tfw Studio Creative Control backs off a bit more than usual: Joy & Wonders #anyway i knew going in bruno wasn't an antagonist (fine if he was though b/c slay & b/c scapegoats can do whatever they want)#knew i'd love him b/c again Scapegoat shows up & i'm the Amazing Showstopping Totally Unique Never The Same gif on loop #but what a delight even beyond those expectations lol. love again how Focused the movie is on What It's About & Thee Points it makes #the Characters / Dynamics & the Metaphor & the plot stays right with all of that. the focus & importance re: thee scapegoats....#& bruno being disabled like whole layer of Yay Yay Yay spamming. that even when He's Back we're reminded he's not ''normal now'' or w/e #(i.e. presenting that as The Good Ending for the disabled outcast. vs just being embraced as part of the group again & accepted As He Is)#meanwhile was like hmm chat is there queercoding do we think? like is he queer: Yes. but is there coding? hmm #sure isn't cishet coded though. but i was also having the thought like fellas is it gay to [higher tenor tessitura or w/e] lol #made me go ''do i know this voice? ok do i know this name / face / actor? wait there's seriously only THREE "keep" choices for veilguard... 2 from trespasser specifically and then who the inquisitor romanced... bioware loves being like "in our games your choices have consequences and shape the world around you" and then the conses do not quence whatsoever

#so like 95% of the stuff we did in inquisition did not matter.... okay #nothing about the well?? or KIERAN when morrigan is in the game??? nothing about siding with mages or templars??#even with choices from dao and da2 like so if we even get cameos from companions from those will they just not mention anything like #and the explanation that “well we're removed from southern thedas now they're very different yadda ya” is bullshit #like yay morrigan but if she was romanced by the warden and/or had old god kieran it just doesnt come up at all??#and if any past companions have cameos will they just not mention anything? no mention of romance or any details...#this just pissed me off so bad as someone who loves the keep and seeing past choices show up again #just did a whole new playthrough for this game specifically but none of it matters like okay awesome #and im not gonna say anything about the prioritization of s********n bc things will get nasty #the epic highs and lows of being a dragon age fan #da4 spoilers #datv spoilers #.txt

i know the dan hospital episode is going to ruin me but i think the harry hospital episode is very underrated

Today was exhausting (unsuccessful blood center trip, Too Many People Everywhere, plus I hate every second I have to be outside when it's cold). But check out the Five Below & Aldi hauls!

I went to Five Below specifically looking for the Rick and Morty calendar, and yay, they had it! Many thanks to @thesoftboiledegg , who made me aware this existed. January (my birthday month), has one of the "Interdimensional Showdown" images, so for that alone, you *know* I needed this calendar.

The Pickle Rick ornament was an unexpected bonus find. 😁 I looked in so many stores for RaM ornaments last year, 'cause I know there's a few of them out there, but I never thought of checking Five Below. And yes, he cost $2 more than the big ornament box, but that's fine.

Speaking of which, that's for an idea I've had for a while - dressing up the Christmas tree for other holidays. I've said for like 3 years I could do a Valentine's Day tree if I just bought some pink ornaments, since I have a LOT of red ones & fair amount of white & silver. Ta-da!

I also don't think I've ever gone in the art supply aisle at Five Below before today - there were a lot of tempting things there. But I'm not sure about the quality, soooo I figured the glitter markers would be a good test. 🙂

Then it was onto Aldi for cheese. So much cheese. I swear I bought a few things that aren't cheese. But this was the main reason for the Aldi portion of today's outing, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

I know the Bethesda games haven't done a good job of it, but I really think people should lean way more into "the Brotherhood is a literal cult with it's own religious practices" in their fiction/headcanons

#ok tag rant time yay #cus i need to process some shit #soooo the big thing is ajdhfnfhdk pretty girl!!! yay!!!!! and first time for that!!!!!!!! we matched on an app last friday #got coffee the next morning then met up again monday night (implied fun things) then in the wednesday morning shit show she came over just #to sit with me and so everything could be ok for a while and i felt the safest I ever have #which is a big deal because last time i had that feeling i was with the guy i like and one of my best friends sleeping on the floor because #little tiny college beds dont fit three people and then they left me on the floor to sleep in one bed together and i cried a lot #then they essentially kicked me out of the polycule and started dating soooo :) yeah #good to replace that with a (absolutely fucking gorgeous) pretty girl holding onto me while the world falls apart #and yeah she's sosososo prettyyyyy she has such nice dark long hair and really pretty eyes and she's literally #6 feet tall (which. ajdhdjfndbsmdjcjfj.) and she's the biggest nerd omg i had a like 2 hour conversation with her and her gf about star trek #its great #we're moving sapphic fast lol which is a lot but im obsessed with her a bit #did i mention shes so pretty? its fr like that one tiktok sound about a hot girl and her little gay boyfriend #oh and she came over again last night and i think im gonna dieeee lol i never realized how much of a physical touch person i am before #i mean i knew i liked it a lot but i just do not want to let go. at all. ever. i miss her #this is what i mean by bisexual so gay for men and women and it happens liek the stereotypes for both #sadly she's already mentioned maybe having to move because of everything and i really don't want that #but i guess we'll try it for as long as we can #overall though yay yay yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

#ok plz i wanna rant about how the new season of good omens is making me lose faith in humanity #girl tell me how ive trudged through 4 episodes of this season and i still dont know what the damn hell is going onnnnnn #every time i think we're getting somewhere with the 'story' the show slams the brakes to let me know that there're gay people on screen #does the coffee shop chick ever apologize to the record store chick bc i cant staaaand their romance.#like record store lady. girl. this isnt banter shes just straight up dissing your passion and life's work.#im scared to finish the season bc i just KNOW theyre gonna pull the whole 'i made u leave ur toxic partner now date me immediately' trope #ok so story beats aside my other gripe is how contrived the queer representation is in this show #i am a bi woman! my reaction to seeing wlw on screen should be 'yay! im happy theyre together' and not 'ugh this shit again?'#and also with az and crowley! what happened to their chemistry from the first season???#like on the one hand the whole 'bickering like an old married couple' schtick is lovely. but. theyre just faffing about most of the time!#remember the first season? when these characters had agency? and a semblance of intuition?#i am convinced that the majority of the characters in this season couldnt find their way out of a paper bag #i get theres a whole memory loss plot device thing happening. but it feels like Gabriel's cluelessness is like fucking infectious or smthn #i feel like an idiot for assuming that the characters i knew from the first season will be just as competent in this season. they arent!#i hated the whole 'continued' story in the wwii era. i feel like it was a pathetic ploy at giving mark gatiss more needless screentime #did they think people would find the nazi zombies amusing or something? why are we playing this off as a joke?#just admit you dont know what to do with the story and move onnnnnnnn #im gonna finish the season bc i feel like im owed the scene of david tennant sucking face with michael sheen.#itll be like reparations for having to slough through the rest of this nothing burger of a story jesuuuuuussss #ok rant over #good omens critical

You know those first five-ten minutes of Ahsoka really felt like Clone Wars bc at least three times I pointed at the screen at yelled "That's my girl!"
