KS actor AU headcanon

-At first the character for bum is supposed to be a female but when the director saw bum he had second thoughts

Killing Stalking Ch. 11-13 Contains Spoilers

Chapter 11: We may have already met him once, but in this chapter, we get a little more depth on our cop, Yang Seungbae, who I will be calling YS. We first get a look into the local police station, where YS works. In the first few interactions between him and his coworkers, we see he is degraded and disrespected, seen as annoying and inferior. As we learned earlier, he was demoted for disobeying orders and pursuing cases without permission at his previous position. It seems he cannot escape his reputation nor his old habits. He is most notable for his immediate suspicion of SW, as he had examined his parent’s murder and found him the most likely culprit. That considered, during a flashback we see two of YS’ coworkers gossiping about him. Here we learn that when he was first beginning as a detective, he solved a case. While he was trying to convince everyone that a beggar did it, the actual criminal was caught. This led fellow police to believe he was trying to convict an innocent man to advance his career. YS’ trauma regarding the police and his father’s death is likely what leads to a disconnect between him and his peers, they don’t understand the consequences of not following every lead. With this experience, YS is compelled to pry after being denied the rights to a citizen's black box footage.

Chapter 12 & 13: A common theme in this story, almost immediate obsession. YS has no actual explanation as to why he needs to investigate SW, but like both SW and YB, he is transfixed. This fixation compels him to inspect SW home without permission. Dare I call this desperation, while we know he is correct is his suspicion of SW, we also know he has little to no evidence. This need to convict SW could likely not be based on SW’s observed actions at all, but the fact that YS had been condemned socially for being incorrect in his hunches. Now that he has formed a new one from inspecting SW’s parents’ deaths, he is grappling for evidence and even committing crimes to find a reason to prove himself. SW’s off-putting nature when confronting YS only fuels this, as it is similar to how he is treated by his peers. YS believes he is highly capable, which is evident when he tries to deceive SW and buy more time in his home by faking a phone call. This is obviously unsuccessful. This is where SW feels as if he has the upper hand, with a concealed weapon and a flustered victim, SW’s full intentions are to reveal YB as to raise fear, then kill YS. SW’s panic when he realized he didn’t know where YB was could be misconstrued as concern for his safety and feeling betrayed by someone he cared about, but I believe it is merely panic at the loss of control. The flashbacks to being intimate with YB were instances where SW had complete control over YB emotional attachment. SW says things like “I won’t forgive you” and “How dare you fuck with me” which imply distress at YB not being under his command. His erection is interesting, as I have previously established not believing SW is capable of sexual attraction. That being said, attraction and sensation are different. After imagining himself strangling his mother, he gets sexually excited. It is likely that he is not attracted to others sexually, yet receives sexual gratification from committing violence. As SW reenters his home, he seems to be giving himself a pep talk, preparing himself to kill YB. This relates back to my lover’s question in my previous post, is SW capable of killing YB? His previous victims, the girl, and the man were killed without hesitation. Not only that but they were intentionally lured into SW’s home. YB on the other hand, came on his own, albeit without knowing what would happen. While clearly, YB’s intentions were not to be held hostage, SW is clearly very mentally ill. In his perception, YB coming into his basement may have been an invitation to abuse him. This could be what sets YB apart from other victims. SW feels it is a mutual attraction, but not in the way YB thinks it is.

I return to tumblr for a second to post the prologue of my fic. Feedback appreciated! It’ll be up on AO3 when it’s complete.

Bum stood outside of the door, head hung in embarrassment and shame, the shirt Seungbae had lent him to sleep covered in wet patches where Bum’s fresh tears had fallen. He clung to the edge of the worn white shirt, wringing it nervously between his slender fingers as he shifted his weight uneasily back and forth on the balls of his feet, causing the floorboards beneath him to let out an old and tired creak. Painstakingly, Bum raised one of his hands, internally debating whether or not he should knock on the door, worrying his bottom lip anxiously as he stalled, tears continuing to fall as he sniffed quietly in the darkness of the hallway.

It had been only three months since Bum had been released from the hospital. With no family, friends, or penny to his name, he’d have to fend for himself and crawl his way back to ground zero, before Seungbae had seemingly nervously interrupted, offering Bum a place to stay while he managed to bring some sense of normalcy and routine into his life. The thought was simply too much to bear, and Bum could feel his dry eyes filling with hot tears that threatened to spill over at the sudden act of kindness, accepting the offer and promising to make the most of the opportunity. If Seungbae was to be asked why he’d extended such an invitation, he wasn’t completely sure. The ride home was quiet and awkward, and Bum had asked that exact question nervously. He recalls Seungbae murmuring something about Yoon reminding him of himself, to which Bum never pried but continually questioned internally.

Seungbae had been beyond generous already, graciously opening his small apartment and his already chaotic and busy life to Bum by letting him occupy the space there without so much as asking for anything in without good reason in return. He’d only asked that Bum continue on with his rigorous therapy and stay consistent with his slew of heavy medication, to which Bum enthusiastically nodded and promised with his whole heart, the determination to heal clear as day in his eyes. At least in that one moment. The detective had been so patient and kind, much more so than Bum thought he’d ever deserved and in fact, felt a pang of guilt and confusion towards. Unfamiliar was one way to describe it, but unwelcome it was not. And so here he was, given a new chance at life without so much of a second thought. Though he wasn’t quite sure what the future held for someone like him and his laundry list of records and mishaps, he was quietly determined to not waste what he’d been given and make the most of it, taking each day minute by minute, second by second, until the hours, days, months, and years built up behind him and led him to a different place.

Yang Seungbae was handsome, successful, suffered through his own difficulties and came out victorious, such a stark and sudden comparison to Bum, who didn’t have anything to show for his miserable life and instead felt more of a leech in Seungbae’s home the majority of the time. Bum had tried his best to stay out of the way, keeping to the room he’d be offered, only to leave when it was time for his appointments (that Seungbae often offered to drive him to), to cook, or to spend time with Seungbae when he’d insisted (though always gave him the option to say no to).

He wasn’t sure how he could ever manage to pay Seungbae back besides cooking each night before Seungbae returned, exhausted and worn but letting his frown subside when he’d seen what Bum had clearly spent time working to prepare for the two of them. Bum had only wanted to be useful, to give back in some small way for the new opportunity at life he’d been granted in one of the only ways he knew how. Seungbae had seemed almost shy and seemingly embarrassed when he’d admitted his cooking skills were not up to par, though Bum couldn’t imagine why he’d have to worry about something so trivial such as cooking when the man was clearly not a complete disaster such as himself. Regardless, seeing Seungbae’s shoulders drop and a smile creep onto his face at the end of a long day somehow made it all worth it to Bum.

Despite the initial and understandable awkwardness between them, Seungbae had seemingly enjoyed his time with Bum, though Bum couldn’t imagine what he had to offer that the detective saw in him. He’d continually felt awkward, out of place, and troublesome, along with a whole list of unsavory descriptors. Though Seungbae had managed to hush quite a few of them with his stern but kind encouragement.

With an awkward smile and nervous adjustment of his glasses, Seungbae would invite Bum out with him and often encouraged him to grab groceries or spend time watching television with him after they’d washed up after dinner. It was starkly different than his life had ever been, and Bum felt himself feeling more at ease, awkward conversations and silent moments between them be damned. On top of their living situation, Seungbae had been adamant that Bum not feel ashamed or nervous to ask for anything. Though Bum was slowly getting better at speaking up when he was hungry or needed something from the store, some things were much more difficult to voice. If he had to describe it, it was strangely domestic. Something he’d never experienced but was glad to have found the word for.

As if to clear his head of the swirling torrent of thoughts, Bum shook his head and lowered his hand back down to his side, bringing himself back to the present moment. He’d mustered up all the courage he could manage to stumble, disoriented and shaken, out of his room and stood himself directly outside of Seungbae’s closed bedroom door. He stood there, warm tears cooling on his pale cheeks while visions of his night terror still clung to his subconscious and causing the taste of bile to rise up in his throat, leaving a metallic, burning sensation in its wake. He’d swayed on his unsteady feet, back and forth nervously, hanging his head in shame as he’d wiped his face with the back of his hand.

Rather than wake Seungbae and further inconvenience his sleep and put another dent in the remainder of his pride, Bum stumbled back to his room in the darkness, sliding underneath the cool sheets before bringing the shirt up to his face to wipe any remaining tears from his cheeks. He sighed shakily, slender chest rattling with the effort, breathing in the smell that was unmistakably Seungbae that surrounded him. He’d manage this night as he had so many others, quietly crying into his pillow as he’d eventually pass out due to exhaustion.

Outside his closed door, Seungbae stood, shoulders and head dropped in defeat, his own hand unable to move from it’s position, hovering over the door in a knock that would never come.

I dropped Killing stalking after reading the first season but!! I can imagine mo xuanyu/xue yang having that relationship,, i can totally imagine xue yang as that top guy (its been so long i forgot his name lol) Also,, *whispers* i want to see that fic

OOOOOF I had to take like a break from thinking about Killing, Stalking because I’m traumatized from the centipede scene aopfjsfoajsfopajosfjoasfjs but yeah when I was going through and reading the last season (is it over yet??? idk) I just thought “Oh, this could be Xue Yang and Mo XuanYu” but ooooof I prefer thinking about,,, soft,,, romance,,, To be honest,,, I was only reading Killing, Stalking to see what was up with the best boy, Seungbae, the officer uwu…

But, I think the dynamic could fit if we’re thinking of both characters in the worst light? Xue Yang as a traumatized psychopath that turns into a serial killer (this is p much canon anyways, right???), and Mo XuanYu as an abused soft boy with really unhealthy obsession towards someone who showed him the tiniest amount of kindness (unintentionally, I might add???)

I’m wondering where other characters might fit in, though? Would our Yi City arc people fit in as Xue Yang’s family (whom he murdered)????? The Mo family fits pretty well for horribly abusive family already tho hahahaha

Best boy police officer Seungbae is obviously Wei WuXian, who goes lowkey crazy trying to prove that Xue Yang is a horrible human being!!! No one believes him, so he has to go rogue and solve it himself.

The CEO’s daughter is maybe Wang LingJiao??? Maybe,,, just because,,, I want her to die tho ajfpsojfosajfosapfjsoafj heh…

But I think the whole,,, Xue Yang being super horrible to Mo XuanYu with random spurts of really soft kindness,,, I don’t know,,, matches?? Pairing: Yang Seungbae x f!reader

Warnings/contents: Half-smut: Oral. Mild language, light fluff, 18+

Notes: This one is far from as sexual as the last. I’m working on Yoon Bum’s NSFW Alphabet and Matsukawa’s first time story as much as I can right now, but I hope you guys like it!

A sigh came from the man as he walked in the door tonight. He was tired, he just wanted to shower and relax, specifically with you, but you weren’t sitting on the sofa or cleaning around the apartment like he thought you may be. However, upon further inspection and wondering if you were out as he headed to your shared room, he heard the shower running. Opening the bathroom door with a knock, he stepped into the steamy room.

“Hey, I’m home.” He called, nearly jumping back when you immediately peeked out of the curtain and grinned at him.

“Hey!” He sent you a smile, but his exhaustion was obvious. You sent him a sympathetic look while he took his tie off and started to undo the buttons on his shirt. “Rough day?”

“Long day,” he specified, stripping his clothes off. “You mind if I come in with you?”

“I could never mind,” you winked playfully at the man, easily sinking back behind the curtains and rinsing your hair out. He took his socks off, tossing the clothes aside and deciding to deal with them later. Getting in the shower, he nearly jumped back at how hot the water was against his feet.

“I’ll never understand how you shower like this.” With a soft laugh, you turned the water temperature down, leaning in and bringing them man into a hug he was quick to lean into. He rested his hands respectfully on your lower back, his chin on your head while you nuzzled your own into his chest. “How has your day been?” He asked, flushing slightly while your hands slid soothingly along his back.

“Oh, it’s been okay,” you said with a light sigh. “Not my best, certainly not my worst.” You said optimistically, pulling back and trading places with the man so that he could step beneath the now tolerable water. “I could complain, but I don’t want to.” You leaned against the wall, arms crossed beneath your breasts that he tried not to eye. As much as he wanted to, Seungbae had never wanted to ogle you. Never wanted to make you feel like you were more of a body than someone he loved wholeheartedly.

“I’m sorry to hear it hasn’t been great. You know, I was thinking, maybe this weekend we should go out.” He suggested, leaning his head back beneath the water. You gave a soft hum in interest, eyes flicking to his abs and biceps. “It’s been awhile since we’ve gone to a nice dinner. Maybe even if we just come back home afterwards.”

“I think that sounds like a lot of fun.” You said, smiling as the man stole a look in your direction. “It has been quite some time since we’ve gone out. It’ll be fun even if we get a burger.”

“Well, I was thinking something a bit more fancy— but if it’s a burger you want, it’s a burger we’ll get.” You gave a soft laugh and shook your head while he grabbed his shampoo.

“I’ll go wherever you’d like. It was just an example.” You assured the man. He’d always been this way— a perfect gentleman, taking you to nice places, being so perfectly respectful. You swore he didn’t have a single flaw other than overworking himself to the bone and sticking quite stubbornly to certain things you never really understood. “Maybe afterwards we could come home and watch a movie.”

“Would you prefer to go see a movie?” He asked, looking at you. “If you want to do something afterwards, we can. We don’t have to come home right away.” You hummed in thought and looked down to your feet.

“Maybe we should go see a movie then. Or maybe we should just see what’s out or how we feel after. If all else fails, I’d love to come home and be with you. I can’t exactly feel you up like I like to in theaters.” You teased, making the man’s cheeks flush slightly in the warm bathroom.

“Yes— I know you can’t,” he said with a light chuckle. With a soft sigh, you watched as he rinsed his hair out and stepped forward, shocking the man as your hands pressed to his chest. Before he spoke, you leaned in, lips pressing to his neck. The water ran down your back as he took a small step backwards in shock, hands reaching for your hips as if it was going to steady himself instead of pull you over with him if he slipped. “Hey— be careful,” he said, steadying the two of you better on the wet floor. “We could fall in here.” You hummed, tongue sliding along his skin slowly.

“Then maybe we should go to the floor,” you teased, sliding your hand down his chest.

“I didn’t think you were going to feel me up in the shower.” He said, flustered, eyebrows lightly furrowing inwards. “You know this isn’t my favorite place to do these things.”

“I know,” you hummed, lips kissing softly at his skin, though you made the man gasp when you suddenly bit him. “But you know I like to touch you when you don’t necessarily want to be touched. Like at dinner tables with friends, beneath the blanket, in the shower…” You trailed off, hand sliding down his toned body, your fingers gently teasing his shaft and making the man stiffen. “How about you just give in this once,” you said, pulling back to look into his eyes. “Just this once. Please?” With a soft sigh, he nodded.

“Alright. Just this once.” After the day he’d had, Seungbae couldn’t turn it down. You touching him, feeling him— whatever it was that you wanted to do to him. So he caved easily for you. A smile grew on your face as you nudged him back more until neither of you were perfectly beneath the water. He wasn’t sure what the plan was, but you were quiet, gently grasping his wrist and getting onto your knees.

He thought back, wondering if you wanted him to get down on his knees as well before you leaned in and pressed a kiss to his rather soft shaft. He gave a soft sound in embarrassment, looking away from you as you slid your tongue along him. He knew that you knew he wasn’t a fan of this— sexual things in the shower as much as other places or when you did things to him when he was soft. He’d never liked it, taking awhile to even shower with you in embarrassment of you seeing him so bare.
