You three are childhood friends and have a very close bond. You were the glue that held them together.

Your guys’ parents think you three were so cute together. I mean who wouldn't?

Whenever they would squabble, it would always somehow end up with you getting in the middle of them while trying to calm them down.

Mainly Yuichiro.

Time skip to when the demon finds the cabin and attacks you and the twins.

Yuichiro jumped in front of Muichiro in order to protect him, but that resulted him in the loss of his arm.

While you? You just sat that petrified of the scene in front of you.

After help arrived things seemed to get better.

With the help of your care and the Ubuyashiki’s, Yuichiro was going to live.

After Yuichiro made a full and healthy recovery, he decided it was best to stay on the sidelines. (As much as he hated it) and watched as Muichiro trained his hardest to become a Demon Slayer.

You and Yuichiro cheered him on from the sidelines.

Not long after that Muichiro became a Hashira.

Speaking of Yuichiro and Muichiro. You've noticed that they've become more possessive over you, and never let you stray far from their sight.

At first, you thought it seemed from the worry of losing you because you three thought of each other as family.

Oh how wrong you were.

At first, it started out as wholesome worry.

Then it turned into guilt-tripping, restriction to the outside world, and more.

They would try and coax you with small little acts of affection and gifts, trying to make you see there was no reason to go outside.

Simple but sweet things.

Do not get me started if they catch you trying to escape.

If Yuichiro catches you trying to escape, he will drag you back with him and start emotionally abusing you.

He would call you unflattering names, calling you ungrateful and so on.

He would leave you alone for days without the proper care and nutrients you needed to live.

Then he would come back and start acting all sweet with you.

If Muichiro found you trying to escape, at first he’ll gently try to coax you into no trying to escape, but if that doesn't work, it'll get harder than it already needs to be.

He’ll threaten you and yell at you much like Yuichiro, even giving you the silent treatment.

But he won't even last a few hours before begging for your forgiveness.

Poor baby

He can't stand the thought of you being scared or angry with him.

If you do somehow manage to escape, it won't be very far

The farthest you'll get is maybe close to a small town, before being dragged back by most likely Muichiro.

That's when you realized you were never going to leave their line of sight.

“Come on, let's get you home, where it's safe.”

You couldn't even remember what the outside world looked like.

He would act like his old-normal self around you, but if you ever did something he didn't like or approve of, he would revert to his cold-hearted, ruthless self.

And if you try escaping, good luck, getting caught will be your worst nightmare

He couldn't care how much begging and pleasing you were doing. He would drill it into your head.

You would stay by his side, like old times.

He would achieve his goal no matter what, even if he has to spill your own blood.

they found you lost in the middle of the forest, crying under the tree. feeling pity, they brought you into their house for a couple of days until your parents found you, by now you being taken care of by Tokitos family.

at first, you feel anxious being around them, feeling bad cause you're not really a part of the family.

But as your bond grew, you began to talk to them a lot and play together with them; most importantly, in the game hide and seek, you usually being the hider, while Mui and Yui were Seekers. While you try your best to hide when things like this happen, they, somehow, always find you.

You and the twin are 2 years apart, and it creates a dynamic as a responsible older sibling while the twin is the mischievous youngest.

While it was fun playing, life wasn't always about just playing; you and they have chores to do, so you help each other with chores.

Weeks went by and finally, your parents found you, your mother crying and saying thank you to the Tokito family while hugging you, as your dad having a conversation with them.

As both of your parents are watching their children play, they can't help but think to themselves both of you look so cute together.

But sadly you have to move abroad to another country for some reason, so you parted ways and lost contact.

Years passed by you slowly forgot about their faces and the voices, only sharing a transparent childhood bond together.

While it makes your heart ance for the forgotten memory, you try to think about the relationship and hope for them to have a delightful and lively future.

As you decided to go back to Japan for a few years you had a slight hope that you'd meet them even though you don't remember what their faces were.

As you step again into Japan, your hometown. you feel absolute nostalgia as you look around the town you used to live in.

As you walk around the town, you don't realize that a certain long black hair boy is just walking past you...

He did notice your similarities to someone he knew though, but quickly forgot about it.

As the days go by, you Are inside your hotel room; feeling bored, you go out of the hotel and take a midnight walk to let your brain have its own thoughts.

as you walk in the middle of the road, a demon tries to eat you, but before they can, you hit them in the head. As they get stunted, you run away from them and get yourself back to the hotel.

but to your idiocy, you forgot your way to go back; you turn around to meet the demon again. They're getting closer to you, and their nail begins to look like a claw ready to stab you; you close your eyes and wait for it to end.

But it never comes; as you slowly open your eyes, you see the demon's head and arm were cut off by a certain young Hasira boy...

As you were stunned to speak, that long-haired boy looked at you with his emotionless eyes. He gave you his hand to stand up, and you took it. As you began to stand up, you looked at him with gratitude. "... thank you, euuuh miste-." " It's noting. " He cut your word and began to walk away.

The next day, you begin to meet him again and again, and you always talk to him even though he doesn't remember you nor do you know his name; he doesn't particularly even know why he was there in the first place.

At first, it was kinda annoying to him for you to have around but he was strangely fond of you.

But you didn't meet him for a few months because of the mission; of course, you didn't know about the mission, so you thought he left feeling a bit saddened.

Until he comes back to you by himself, as you begin to do your morning walk, someone familiar called your name... "(Y/N) I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK." You turn around in surprise to see the long-haired boy running after you; you stay there in shock, not expecting him to know your name...

You smile awkwardly as he begins to hug you; you hug him back before asking him, "Ehhm, hello again, mister... I know we may have talked a lot over the past few months, but...how do you know my name?" You asked him, he looked you in the eyes in shock for a few minutes before screaming his name "IT'S ME, MUICHIRO TOKITO"you thought to yourself for a moment remembering this familiar name "Mui...?,mui..., MUICHIRO IS THAT YOU ?! HOLY SHI-" you hugging him a bit tighter, the regret of you forgot his name is overflowing you.

He is still a bit angry that you forgot his name, but he doesn't say anything since he forgot about you, too.

As that awkward reunion ends, you begin to have a little conversation with each other; as you sit on a bench drinking your tea, you ask him, "So...., what do you do for a living?." You said, trying to stir up the conversation. "Killing demon," he said bluntly. "Wait wha-."

So your friend, Muichiro, is a demon slayer who slays the demon. As he says by himself, as the conversation continues, you finally catch up that his twin, Yuichiro, is dead.

A bit saddened by the loss of his twin and your childhood best friend, he swore to himself that he would protect you and the close friends he ever has.

As the days go on you become close again and completely forget they don't remember each other.

But as the day flew by, he became a bit overprotective of you. Always follows you around whenever he can; if he can't, he will send someone to watch over you.

He tries his best to convince you to come to his estates to keep you there forever, have a visit once in a while. but you usually have to refuse because you feel bad for having to visit him or you are just busy because of work.

When you do visit him, you usually help him do his chores; sometimes, you get to practice your sword with Muichiro when he has spare time. but you like to watch him when he practices his swords with his other comrades.

Sometimes you like to go out of the backyard just to watch the sky with him, with his head on your thigh while petting his head, saying random things that come out in our head.

Someday, some people are insulting you, but you brush it off another, but not him. For a couple of days, the person was missing until being found in the middle of the wood with their face, almost unidentified.

And you begin to notice some of your stuff is missing. from something small like a hair tie and some of the stuff you planned to throw away, to something that creeps you out like a novel that you finished since few days ago or a family photo you had with your family got stolen to..

you tell this to Muichiro, and now he insists that you have lived in his house for a while, you reluctantly agree and move to his house.

While you do visit his estates a couple of times you still a bit hard to navigate the house, so you sometimes do not stray far from him.

While you live at his home now, there's one room that you can't ever go in. When you asked him why he just simply stated that there are a lot of swords for only him to used.

You Respected his wishes, so you walked past them but when you heard a strange sound from it. You couldn't help but be curious.

But as you are about to open it, feel bad for breaking his promises, but as soon you open it you'll be surprised by the missing stuff be found in here.

Your initial shock turned into a scared one, you need to get out of here as fast as you can but it's pointless now...

"I've told you not to be in here..." Muichiro is right behind you.

Muichiro looked and looked for any signs of you. Behind every door, in every room and nook & cranny. But he saw no sight of you anywhere, panic and angry filled within him. Everything he saw was red. He screamed out and ran out the house, he called your name for hours hoping to find you. Muichiro had no clue why he was holding his sword so close or how he wished harm. He wasn’t himself when he lost you.

For months he left his services as a demon slayer and became obsessed with finding you, and if there was a demon in the way? Then he did his job but he didn’t care about it. He lost his mind from lack of sleep and the worry of finding you, he wondered if you were hurt somewhere, or dead- Or if some demon had took you. He had already lost his family, his mom and twin brother. The only one he had left was you.

And he intended to keep it that why. With only you in his life.

He looked around the crowded market in the village full of people screaming and rushing around. The area was overflowing with people and it brought him to be annoyed, it was too noisy and non of these people were you. Muichiro had lost all hope again when he searched all the streets and markets for you in that town. He would grow more and more angry when he left a town without you.

Then a sweet voice echoing through the alley he was in and slowed the world around him, his ears perked up. Blood flowed through his body and veins pulsed, his mouth going dry and head spinning. It was your sweet voice. It only took a second of surprise and relief before his feet moved and ran towards the sound.

“Please take it,” he saw your hand go in the merchants hand and placed a few coins, “You deserve it.” That smile you flashed was like the air in his lungs had returned. But the confusion hit him. That was his smile, how could you flash that smile when you had been away from him? His demeanor changed and his mouth frown and his eyes glared.

“Y/n.” He called your name loud enough to get both of your attention. Turning your head at the dark tone and when your eyes hit his frame your body tensed. The beautiful smile on your lips disappeared and your eyes widen in shock. “My dear,” he stepped closer “I have missed you.”

A apple came flying in his direction and he watched you sprint away as fast as you could around the corner. He just followed you quickly, he could have moved faster but he waited for you both to be far away from the public. Somewhere he could be himself with no one to try and stop him.

You ran and ran down all the back alleyways to try and get away from him or try and get home. Your heart beat out of your chest in terror, your legs ached at how fast and hard you were running. Soon you came to a stop when you didn’t see or hear him anymore. Your hands leaned on your knees as you took a breath trying to get air back into your lungs.

A scream left your lips as your throat was grabbed and were sent flying back onto the stone wall. The impact made you chock out in pain. “Tsk, tsk, tsk.” He said from before you. Slowing opening your eyes you saw him glaring hard, “You know you couldn’t run away from me forever.”

Tearing up you struggle against his grip to try and get away from him, knowing deep down you couldn’t. His hands squeezed your throat and slammed your head back onto the wall making you close your eyes in pain, wanting to scream but he was cutting you off. If only you could scream, yell for help then maybe you could get away.

A groan came from his lips. “Don’t struggle or this will hurt more then I want it to.” He pulled you closer to his face. The same red glint in his eyes as when he first took you away from your life. “I gave you everything and this is how you repay me? Had I not done everything right?” He asked like he was pained, like this was hard for him. The thought making you want to laugh.

“I would appreciate it if you come back with me without a fuss,” he unhooked the rope from his belt and titled his head “I would hate to break your legs.” He watched the tears fall from your eyes and your lip quivered. It did pain his heart. “Don’t cry, I promise this will be over.” He leaned down and kissed your forehead softly.

“I will do it right this time. Make sure you can never escape or even think about it, doesn’t that sound nice?” A squeal came out of your mouth as something pierced your leg, the numb sensation quickly coming over your body. Soon your legs gave out and your body fall into his arms. The last thing you saw with a light smile on his lips.

The death of your parents was hard on all three of you, Yuichiro had become cold and harsh while Muichiro stayed the sweet confident boy he always was, and you become somewhat quiet always supporting your brothers and comforting them 

You supported Muichiro when he said he wanted to become a demon slayer and deep down you did too but Yuichiro had other thoughts 

He called the Muichiro weak and said he’d just get himself killed, he only turned on you when you tried to defend him 

This went on until the night you three were attacked, you stayed behind to help Yuichiro when his arm was cut off while Muichiro went after the demon to try and keep it away from you two 

You managed to help Yuichiro stay alive until Amane arrived and helped

After that the master and his wife nursed the three of you back to health and you all decided to become demon slayers together, though the boys were hesitant to let you join and it was difficult with Yuichiro’s missing arm he still managed with the encouragement of his siblings 

Years past and now the three of you are strong hashira, though for some reason you had remained the same height  you did when eleven 

Your brothers were always somewhat protective over you growing up and once you became demon slayers it only intensified but it only seemed to get worse once they realized you had stopped growing 

They insisted on at least one of them going with you on all your missions

Sometimes they would even suggest you leaving the corp but you always brushed them off or shot them down

Yuichiro only seemed to get more persistent while Muichiro would just nod and try again later 

Whenever you were on missions alone they would always send letters and overbearing once you got back which had become annoying 

Even when not on a mission and just not around them they’d always send one of their crows to deliver a letter or a verbal message 

You had decided to ignore their crows at this point, which ended up being a big mistake 

When you next saw your brothers after that Yuichiro looked furious while Muichiro looked worried out of his mind

Muichiro immediately clung to you and started asking you rapid questions which overwhelmed you but what make you more anxious was the furious look on Yuichiro’s face, he began to yell at you to the point of tears

He even voiced the thoughts of just forcing you to resign and keep you home where is was ‘safe’

•Muichiro at first didn’t care about you, much like Sanemi. But when he got his memories back, he decided to get to know all the slayers around him, including you. When you began to talk, he started to like you, a lot. You reminded him of his dad and brother at the same time, and he even found out you have a twin! You are totally siblings in his eyes.

•Giyomei is very interested in you. He likes how kind you are, and he has never met a selective mute before (other then kanao, but they don’t interact much) so he likes observing you. He invites you to train with him, and you quickly become a constant in his life.

•Giyuu ignored you, assuming you’d be mean to him (like Shinobu) but when he was sent on a mission with you, he kinda had to talk to you. He was surprised at how kind you were, you may not be able to speak but your smiles and reassuring looks made him change his opinion on you.

•Uzui talked to you from the start, he finds your outfit very flamboyant. He won’t lie and say all the people around you doesn’t make him jealous. He is your friend, why are all these people pretending to like you now? He hates how most of the hashira were wary about you and just now are hanging out with you (Mitsuri is ok in his eyes, she was kind to you from the start as well)

•Genya met you when Sanemi was talking with you, you saw how cruel Sanemi was to him, and got very mad at Sanemi. You followed him around, trying to cheer him up. You know from experience how older siblings should act (I head-cannon them as a few minutes older then their twin) you try to step up for him, showing him care. He would never say it, but if you left him he thinks he’ll die.

•Kanao was introduced to you by Shinobu, she ended up following you around. You two are both very quiet, so she finds comfort with you. You remind her of Kanae, and she refuses to let you meet the same fate as her late sister.

•Senjuro approached you about possibly training him. He was too scared to ask the hashira, his dad, or his brother. They would say no or laugh at him he says, and he knows you are kind. You of course agree, even if he has no talent with the blade, you still help him with patience.

In The Moon's Shadow (Yandere Kokushibo x Reader) Ch14 Life Goes On

(Firstly a small shout out to my other new book. A Kagaya Ubuyashiki x Reader Soulmate au. If you're looking for something more light hearted then maybe you'll be interested in it.

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING THE STORY!!!!: Tokito and his wife still sadly pass away but earlier than in the original timeline. Instead they pass away when the twins are 6 years old. Also both Yuichiro and Muichiro was born with markings similar to Muichiro's cannon demon slayer mark for story reasons. This will heavily reference s3 ep8. 

ALSO: Apparently according to Muichiro's wiki page he's able to pick up demon's presences. Similar abilities will be given to both twins for demon heritage reasons.

A warm breeze blew across trees and ghosted over the beautiful leaves scattered across the ground, kissing the soft dirt from their fall. The brilliant summer weather was bold, bright, and as beautiful as the sun which shone brightly on the earth below. A series of rustles  kissed the clouds goodbye as they rolled across the sky to their destination.

THUD-!!

A sound broke the silence sending a few birds scattering to the heavens overhead. Small hands pushed their body up from the ground with a small whimper of pain. 

"Ow. That hurt."

Shiny turquoise eyes blinked as footsteps approached and stopped as black boots stood a yard or two away. Turquoise orbs met soft red ones that smiled down at him with such gentleness. 

"I know you can do it, Muichiro. Now stand up."

Smaller eyes looked at him from the kneeling position on the ground before with a grunt the small boy pushed his body up and shifted the weight on his back. Hands finding his hold on the straps and balance for the heavy wood logs weighing down his back. Still he stood up strong and bounded up to the older man with a smile.

"There you go. See? I knew you could do it," he praised a hand reaching out to pat the happy boy's head. "Come along. Your mother and Auntie are probably wondering where we are, and I'm sure your brother is getting weary taking care of them both while we work."

"Ok! And then Mother can make us a pie right?," the boy asked excitedly bounding by the man's side like a newborn fawn following it's mother. "I love her apple pies!"

The man laughed a laugh that reminded him of wind chimes in the wind. "If she's feeling up to it! If not then we can make her a pie as a surprise for everyone!"

"Ok!"

The two walked amongst the trees and falling leaves crunching under their footsteps each step of the way. Smiles given. The adult slowing his pace to allow the seven year old boy to keep pace with him with the heavy load he also carried. Through the mountain forest and up towards a clearing where a small house stood. Another young boy the same age and looking completely identical was in the doorway sweeping dirt out from the house but he stopped and looked up as his brother and the adult approached. 

"Yuichiro, being the little helper as always," the man complimented and greeted him with a smile, "Where's your mama and Auntie?"

The other boy frowned instantly. "Mother's in the garden behind the house and Auntie's cleaning. BUT THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO!! THEY'RE BOTH SICK!! IM SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONE TO DO THAT AND YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME!!" He looked desperate at the now softly frowning man. "PLEASE TALK TO THEM AND MAKE THEM LISTEN!! THEY NEED REST!" A hand softly placed itself on his head.

"Calm yourself. I'll talk to both of them after I put the wood somewhere dry. We'll even make dinner so the women don't have to. Come on now. Everything is going to be alright."

Years had passed since that fateful day you had stumbled over that mountain and was saved by the kind man by the name of Tokito and his caring wife. They had offered you shelter, and cared for you as you rested from the cold. Apparently you were so close to death that Tokito thought you'd slipped into a coma but luckily he just happened to come by you early that morning on his way to chop more firewood and quickly brought you back home quickly just in the nick of time. From there they had allowed you to stay as the long winter months rolled by and your stomach only got bigger and bigger. Making it harder to move on your own and bringing new aches and pains that you never wished to experience again. In fact...your stomach was getting oddly bigger very oddly fast. You thought that the baby was developing faster than normal and that worried you, but luckily it wasn't that at all.

IT WAS TWINS.

You had gone into labor early at the start of spring (again another experience you never wanted to go through again) and had ended up birthing not one but two infants. Their tiny wails echoing forever in your mind. But during all those months you had felt nothing but anxiety over them both. Would they be born with demonic features? Would they have multiple eyes? Fangs?  Claws? Extra limbs? No. None of that happened. Both of your boys came into the world as normal as every other person. No fangs. No class. Two eyes. Ten fingers and toes. The cutest little chubbiest things you've ever seen. It melted your heart the first time you held them...in fact-

They looked absolutely nothing like their father.

There wasn't a single feature they had that resembled Kokushibo. They're eyes just like yours. They didn't have any mahogany hair. In fact their hair curiously was black that ended with turquoise green. The same color as their eyes. They were as normal as any other boy their age... Except for one single feature.

The strange markings on their faces. 

Both boys were born with strange reddish birthmarks on their faces resembling smoke or whips of mist. You were instantly reminded of Kokushibo and the strange flame like birthmarks on his own body. The one thing they had gotten from their father but you hadn't really minded. No one could tell anyways and you were grateful that they looked so much like you instead of Kokushibo as rude as the thought may be. You did not want them to be burdened by the decisions of their parents. Which was why you chose not to pass on your last name to them. 

Muichiro and Yuichiro Tokito.

A much better sounding last name than Haruhime. But also so you could protect them. If you were found out then that was on you, but if they didn't have your last name then they would have better chances of having a normal life. What followed by was as if the gods had blessed you with the better life you prayed that they would gift you. Tokito was honored that you'd want to pass on his own name and accepted considering he had no children of his own to pass it on. Both of them insisted on you staying with them until later into spring when the snow had fully melted to make sure it was safe to travel with Tokito down the mountain and to the town. Unfortunately the town was a useless endeavor. No one was willing to hire a woman let alone a single mother. No one wished to give housing to them either. No one was welcoming. No one wanted to open their doors. 

Except for the Tokitos.

They opened up their home and invited you to stay as long as you needed  with your boys. After all you were family now. They carried his name even. This with no where else to go, you stayed. Stayed and watched as your boys grew up to small children. Laughter filled the air and happiness filled your heart having feeling the happiest it had been in forever. ..But unfortunately not everything was to last peacefully. Tokito's wife had started to become ill slowly over time and about a month after she started getting sick you also fell ill. Getting worse and worse until you both feel bed ridden. Even with you giving Tokito all the money Kokushibo had given you, the doctors could do nothing. It was by chance that Tokito discovered that there was an herb on the very mountain you both lived on that could possibly cure whatever ailments you both were experiencing. Yuichiro had begged him and begged him and BEGGED him to not go out that night in the rain and to wait until morning instead. But sadly things were not in the boy's favor.

The rain was pouring down from the harsh night sky rattling the door on its very frame. No moon or stars to light the way through the woods. Trees screamed from the winds' torment pushing their branches about and making shadows dance. Rain pounded against the windows soaking the house to the bone and would've froze the occupants inside if not for the fire in the fireplace. A sickly chorus of coughs being the only thing that filled the air.

"Hang in there." Desperate small hands wrung out a dripping cloth shaking as it pressed to a burning forehead. Large turquoise eyes filled with worry and desperation staring down at her. "He just went out to get you some herbs so-"

"MOTHER!" One head went behind him to another already crying face. Identical twin clutching desperately onto the chest of a silent, pale woman. "S-S-She won't wake up..." Lips quivered as hands shook. Tears showing reflections of his sorrows streaming down his cheeks before falling being absorbed by the wrinkled sheets his hands clutched.

"Y-Yuichiro."

"WHY WON'T SHE WAKE UP?!"

"Cold..." Muichiro turned back to the first woman. The weakest of whispers shaking her lips. ".. it's...so cold.." the other woman remained deathly silent..

A pair of footsteps ran away only to return dragging behind him two thick blankets tossing one to his brother and one over the woman who had resorted to coughing again. "Here. Take our blankets. This should help right?..." Coughing and silence was their only answer. "Please..hang on."

"I don't care about anyone else." Hands gripped the sheets harder and tears fell plentiful. "I don't care about anyone else. Please just don't take our mother. Don't take my mother away from me."

Whether it was just a coincidence or because the gods did hear Yuichiro's begging that night, his wishes were granted. Mrs. Tokito passed away hours before the sun rose the next day. Tokito himself was found later having fallen into a ravine the night before with the herbs needed still clutched within his hands. The herbs were taken from his hands and mixed into the tea the twins gently poured down your unconscious throat which awoken you. But it had taken days to fully recover and regain enough strength to walk about again-

"Good afternoon you two." 

You stared at the two graves that were just a little aways from the house you now lived in alone with your two boys. A small patch of flowers surrounding the rocks that marked their peaceful resting places. It had been almost two years now since that stormy night that claimed the both of your friends. Your boys now eight years old, were off gathering more firewood in the woods nearby. After Tokito's death, they had taken it up on their tiny selves to continue his work. They had to in order to make some kind of living. You no longer had any money so it was a bit of a struggle to get by especially during the winter months but somehow you managed. You made it a point every now and then to visit the graves to pay respect. It was the least you could do after they had done so much for you and your children. 

"I'm going to pick some wild berries today. Hopefully I won't take too long.  I'll bring you some flowers later today after dinner. Ok?"

With a bow you turned away and began walking towards the forest where you knew the berry bushes were. It wasn't too far from where your boys  were gathering wood, so you still felt safe knowing that if anything happened either of you could call out for help within hearing range. The bushes full of bright red berries were plump and ready to harvest for your pies. The basket you carried was big enough to carry enough berries for two pies. Your boys would like that after a hard day's work. Berry by berry was picked and placed into the basket by hands-

"Kindness does no good for anyone. If you try to help somebody in need you'll only get hurt."

You paused at the sudden voice. What the-

"That's not true. Whatever you do to help others has a way of coming around and helping yourself some day. That's what he said."

Your head turned blinking at a bush blocking your view of the voices as they continued to speak. Hey. Wait a minute. You knew who that was.

"You're regurgitating the words of a man who got himself killed trying to help someone else."

"How could you say something so cold?  He died trying to help our mother."

The branches of the bush was quietly grabbed and pulled away gently to cause as little noise as possible. Your eyes caught sight of two familiar boys walking through the trees, logs heavily stacked on the eight y.ear olds. They walked passing right in front of you. Yuichiro held a face of annoyance as Muichiro looked hurt and concerned at his older twin.

"As if a few herbs would've done anything to really heal her at that point. She ended up recovering fine without them. Don't be so stupid."

"Don't say such awful things!", Muichiro practically shouted hurt at him.

"If he hadn't gone out in the middle of a storm maybe we would've only lost one family that night." Your face dropped at his words.

"Please stop saying things like that! That's going too far!"

"I'm only telling you how it is, and stop being so noisy. You'll attract boars. I guess the Mui in Muichiro stands for incompetence." Muichiro stopped just..staring at his brother and you also looked shocked at your eldest. Before a deep scowl pierced your features. "This conversation is meaningless after all you can't change the past. ..Or maybe the Mui in Muichiro stands for meaningless-"

"YUICHIRO!!"

Both boys jumped startled whipping wide eyed as the bush rustled and their mother came pushing through the bush. Basket clutched in one hand with a scowl on her face as she marched from her hiding place and right up to her eldest.

"Mother?," Yuichiro blinked. "What are you doing out here by yourself? It's not safe with boars and other wild animals- OW!!"

Instead of answering him a hand snatched his ear and tugged harshly making him wince closing one eye. "I am your mother! I ask the questions here!" You spat at him tugging a bit harder. "I don't know what's gotten into you, but don't you DARE speak I'll of the dead like that again! Those people have done things for you that you don't even know about!"

"I was only stating facts- OW! LET GO LET GO LET GO!!"

"THOSE AREN'T FACTS!! THEY'RE OPINIONS!! OPINIONS THAT ARE WRONG!!," You hissed leaning in closer as Yuichiro attempted to pry your hand off him with a hand but failed. "AND DON'T. YOU. EVER!! Call your brother ANY names like that EVER again!! If I EVER catch you acting like this ever again you're going to be in big trouble, young man!! Do I make myself clear, Yuichiro?!"

"FINE!! JUST LET ME GO!!"

You did and he pulled away with a scowl reaching out to rub his sore ear. "If you can't say something nice then keep it to yourself! Taking your anger out on others like that is wrong! You should know better by now!" You then pointed harshly back up the path. "Now march! You're grounded for the rest of the week!"

Yuichiro scowled but one warning look from your face had him turning away.

"Mother?," a gentle hand on your arm had you turning to Muichiro's face that looked lost. "The mui in my name doesn't really come from meaningless or incompetence does it?"

Your eyes dropped and heart shook from his hurt face. "Oh, Honey." He blinked as a hand cupped his face. "No, Baby. It doesn't mean anything like that."

"Then what does it mean? What do I mean?"

"I got your name from Mugen." You smiled gently at him to quell his fears. "Do you know what Mugen means?" he shook his head. "It means infinity. I chose that meaning because it's very special to me just like you are." You turned your head seeing the small tilt Yuichiro made with his head. "Just like yui. It translates roughly to Toki which means existence." A basket was placed down. Yuichiro turned as a hand pulled him over to a smiling face. "You both are my existence and my infinity for living, and you both are very special. Don't ever forget that." The basket was picked back up. "Now let's go home. I have dinner to make and we need plenty of rest if we want to sell wood in town tomorrow."

Yuichiro said nothing as he turned to stomp off back towards your home. Muichiro following him holding your hand and smiling up to your face. It was hard raising two boys on your own but you wouldn't have had your life going any other way. Although... sometimes you wondered what would've happened if you had decided to stay in your old village. Would you have been accepted? Would your children be happier running around playing with other children their age? Would Kokushibo have accepted them if he ever came back? You didn't know but it was better to not dwell on the past or what ifs. Now you had everything you needed in life in front of you and you couldn't be happier.

''Firewood for sale!! Only two yen a log!!"

The town which was bigger than your old village by a lot was a buzz with life. People walked all over the place. Some stopped to stare at the two children with the piles of wood in front of them, others walked right on by ignoring them, and others took interest and bought a few pieces making the big likes just a little bit smaller than it was previously. There a woman was gently passing a few finely purchased logs to the local carpenter as two children waved their arms and shouted out trying to draw attention.

"Come get the best cut Birch this side of the mountain!," Yuichiro shouted cupping his hands around his mouth to better echo out his voice. "You won't find better wood anywhere else!"

"Thank you! Come again!," you thanked the man with a bow before he headed off. 

"FIREWOOD!! NICE DRY FIREWOOD!!" Muichiro blinked as a shadow suddenly looked over him. Blinking up to a large figure standing over him before smiling. "Hello, Sir! Do you want some firewood?"

The tall man was rather handsome. Reddish plum eyes smiled down at the boy as mahogany soft hair curled around his face and cascaded down his back in a long ponytail. A pair of earrings swayed as he tilted his head. A strange series of fire like birthmarks on his face. Making you stare at him for a long time. You didn't know why but he looked... Familiar somehow.

"I'm afraid not," he spoke gently with a smooth voice before pointing behind him. "But I am interested in those cravings there."

He was referring to a few logs cut directly in half before being sanded down before being carved into. Beautiful sceneries of flowers and skies and other things beautiful etched into the sanded inners. You had learnt long ago that it was a lot harder to carve directly into the wood but found out that you could use the carving tools to dig into the insides enough to etch designs into it like you would a candle from years ago only it took longer and was harder considering it was wood instead of soft wax or soap. So you only currently had four to sell from them taking so long to make. The man was looking right at them. 

"May I?"

Muichiro blinked again before smiling. "Yeah! Hold on!" The excited boy was quick to turn, grab the nearest art piece, and hold it up to the stranger. A perfectly carved mother bear and two Cubs carved beautifully into its surface. "Here! I chopped this one myself!"

The man couldn't help but chuckle before gently grabbing the birch wood and examining the carving carefully. "...This is a very beautiful piece."

"Our mother carved it!" The man tilted his head to you. "She can carve all kinds of things! You won't find anything like it anywhere else!"

"Is that so? Well then color me surprised. It's not everyday I meet a lady artist." Plum red eyes looked back to me log carving in thought. "...My brother would like something like this. He's been in a bad mindset for a long time. A gift might cheer him up. How much are you asking for it?"

Muichiro opened hid mouth- "Ten yen!" Yuichiro interrupted firmly crossing his arms. "No more no less! Take it or leave it!"

"Yuichiro, don't be so rude-"

"No, no." The man stopped you by holding up a hand. "It's alright. It's good to be firm in sales, and the price is more than reasonable. But I would like to have one other." He again pointed out a carved log. "The one with the butterflies and flowers. My wife would love that."

"Pay first! Twenty yen upfront!"

You shot Yuichiro a look but the man only patiently complied handing over a small jingling bag of coins before he was handed over the other cut log which he put both in a large leather bag around his shoulder. His movements even small were so graceful and so precise that it seemed so familiar....

"Have we met before?" The man turned back to you in question. A confused look on your face. "I'm sorry. It's just that you look oddly familiar somehow."

The man blinked looking you up and down... before shaking his head no. "No. I don't believe so. I've certainly never met you before. Perhaps you saw me walk through here earlier last month. I have been traveling."

"I.. suppose so. I'm sorry. I must be mistaking you for someone else."

He smiled again. "It's quite alright. Please have a good day."

With a bow the man turned to walk away as the funny feeling still stayed, but you brushed it off. It was nothing. You simply must've just mistook him for someone else. With most of the firewood sold and night going to fall soon, you ushered your boys to pack up what was left and take your hands to follow you back up the woods back home. You'd come back tomorrow to try and sell off all the extra wood you don't need even at a greatly reduced price. If not perhaps you could trade it for something else like food or more clothing.  It was going to be spring soon and you'd be needing all of it.

The sounds of logs being stacked on top of one another sounded out as Yuichiro placed one after another in the rack just next to your home. Birds sung loudly on the beautiful spring day as the breeze wafted over the pretty woods. A heavy axe in your hands as you raised it up before striking it back down. With some difficulty cutting a bigger log into two pieces but getting the job done nonetheless. A sigh escaped her mouth before an arm reached up to wipe her forehead. It was difficult work, but it's work that had to be done. 

"I'll be back. I'm going to go fetch some water." Your head turned to find Muichiro holding two large buckets. 

"You still haven't gotten any?" His twin frowned.

"Do you want some help, Honey?"

Muichiro shook his head at you both with a smile. "No. I can do it, Mother. I know you and Yuichiro are busy with the firewood."

"Well alright. But hurry back. Ok? I don't want you out by yourself for too long."

He nodded. "I will! Don't worry."

Muichiro left with the buckets and the rest of you went back to chopping wood and stacking it back away in the shed before you stopped and stretched out a bit. Your arms and back sore from the hard labor. THUNK, THUNK, THINK- You blinked turning your head to Yuichiro as the boy dropped what little wood he was holding onto. Head snapped to the right and alert. Like a deer sensing a predator coming. 

"Sweetheart? What's wrong?"

"Someone's coming!"

Your head turned to peer through the trees...but saw no one. "Who?"

"A man! There! A man!" He pointed right through the trees and you stared hard straining to see a glimmer of anything...but saw no one.

"Honey, no one's there. Maybe you're seeing wrong-" You blinked as the eight year old quickly ran to hide behind your legs peeking out with a scowl. 

"NO! A REALLY POWERFUL MAN IS COMING!," He insisted not budging from his hiding place.

Your brows furrowed before looking again at the empty space between the trees but there was still no one. You were beginning to wonder if he saw a shadow of maybe a deer he mistook for a figure when you saw him. Little Muichiro bounding through the trees with a smile on his face and next to him keeping pace was a rather tall man also smiling and carrying two large heavy buckets. You froze as they approached and Yuichiro scowled harder.

"MUICHIRO, GET AWAY FROM HIM!!," he shouted at his twin motioning for him to come towards the safety of their mother. "GET OVER HERE!"

"It's alright, Yui!," your other son called back with a smile and full arm wave, "He says he knows Mother!"

"AND YOU BELIEVED HIM?!"

The man was instantly recognizable to you. Plum red eyes. Earrings swaying as he walked. Long mahogany hair blowing with the wind. He came to a stop in front of you both as Muichiro pointed at him excitedly.

"Look, Mother! Our Uncle came to visit! Isn't it wonderful?" You didn't look at the boy who slowly blinked. "Mother?"

"... Muichiro, come here."

"Huh? But what-"

"I said COME HERE!" The sweet boy jumped, not being used to his mother raising his voice to him. He looked back up to the man, then his mother.. before quickly walking to his mother. You grabbed him by the shoulders before pushing him towards the house never taking your eyes off the smiling man. "Both of you go inside. Now."

"But-"

"NOW, Muichiro!"

Muichiro looked hurt but didn't argue. Mostly because Yuichiro roughly grabbed him and dragged his brother across the yard quickly and into the house. The door slamming shit behind them. A moment later two little heads poked out of a window to peep at the scene outside. The man only ever smiled patiently at you as you stared at him. There was silence for a long moment with nothing but the birds singing and leaves dancing with the wind. Before he spoke.

"I realized I never thanked you for your beautiful artwork," he spoke softly. "My wife loves it. It's still hanging on our mantle back home."

Your frown only hardened. "Who are you and why are you here?"

He smiled wider. "Forgive me for I hadn't introduced myself yet." He bowed slightly. "My name is Yorichii Tsugikuni. I'm actually here on behalf of my brother."

"Tsugikuni?" Your eyes widened in pure shock and horror. "As in the Tsugikuni Clan that rules over part of the east provinces?!"

"Well..not so much as rules anymore. After the war most of our people left for better lands so the east is more peaceful and less crowded now." He nodded. "Very perfect for quietly living."

SHING-

This man, Yorichii, didn't even flinch as the sharp blade of an axe was raised and aimed directly at him. The scowl of a woman directed at him. "I don't know what THAT family wants with me but I will not let them you people bring your conflicts to my family. Now either tell me what you want or leave?!"

The man calmly regarded you, then the axe, the the boys watching in worry out the window, then calmly back to you. "Forgive me for not stating that sooner. I'm merely here to deliver a message from my brother, Michikatsu. You know him I'm sure."

Michikatsu? Who? You shook your head. "I don't know anyone by that name let alone anyone from your family!" You spoke firmly.

Yoriichi hummed lightly confused. "You don't? Are you sure? You've done business with him in the past. He looks very similar to me?" You again firmly shook your head no. Yorichii took the moment to think for a moment before looking back at your face. "Then maybe you know him by a different name. He also goes by Kokushibo."

THUD-

The axe dropped to the ground. Your arm still raised. A frozen blank expression on your face. "....What did you just say to me?"

"Ah! That explains it!" He smiled politely instead. "I apologize on my brother's behalf. You see he goes by two names. Michikatsu is his actual name but a lot of our people refer to him as Kokushibo for his fighting style. He must've given that name to you."

Your mind went as blank as your face. "....What the hell do you want with me?"

"He wants you to come home to him." His gaze glanced over to the boys peeking out. "He wants to be with his family."

"....How did he find me?"

"Your artwork. He recognized your art form from the candles and soaps you sold him." He nodded at the house. "May we talk inside about this? I did bring your water." He held up the heavy buckets.

Again there was silence before you silently turned to walk back to the house, and silently this Yoriichi followed after. Both boys looked at one another before they disappeared from the window as you slid the door open and walked in. Both pairs of turquoise eyes blinked widely at you both from the other side of the house. Muichiro looking lost and Yuichiro scowling.  Yoriichi looked around the small home with a smile before gently placing down the buckets of water.

"You have a lovely home, Ms. Y/n. I assume that's your name."

"Thank you," you stared bluntly with a curt look, "But I'd rather get to the point."

"Of course. What would you like to know first?"

"For one what the absolute hell is he thinking sending you here to me?!," you shouted at him but he didn't flinch at your sudden burst of anger as if expecting it. "IT'S BEEN ALMOST TEN YEARS SINCE I LAST HEARD OF HIM AND HE COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO COME HERE HIMSELF?!"

"You'll forgive him. He's been very stressed trying to fix all of our father's messes after the war on top of dealing with the aftermath of our mother's recent death." That had you surprised for a moment. "I've been helping him with regaining back some peaceful alliances with other provinces. You see that's also the reason why I was passing through."

...Your body deflated a little. "I apologize. That must be very difficult...but still it doesn't give him the right to just come demanding things of me after so many years. Especially when he left me without a word."

"He was only trying to protect you from those who wished to harm him. Please understand. He had full intentions of returning to you as soon as he had free time again." 

"Well it's a little late now. I'm sorry this is too much." You shook your head and held up your hands. "I think it'd be best if you left. My family can't be bothered with this." Before you pointed at the still open door. 

Yorichii calmly regarded you before just bowing. "I understand. I'm very sorry for dropping in like this." He looked back to you. "But still I think of it as a blessing to meet my nephews and the mother of my brother's children. If you should have a change of heart-"

"PLEASE...Just leave."

Yorichii complied. Turning and leaving without another word. You stayed in the doorway watching until his form completely disappeared before slamming the door shut probably harder than you had too. 

"Mama?" A little hand gently tugged on your Kimono. Two worried faces looking up at you. "I-Is everything ok?"

".... Everything is fine. But we are going to have a long talk about talking to strangers."

Things were always tense after that. You did NOT let either of your boys out of your sight let alone by themselves. It made chores longer but it was a small price to pay to ease your paranoia. Always looking over your shoulder. Always scanning the crowds. Always double locking the doors.

Oh fate had other plans. 

About three months passed. The twins turned one year older. One year stronger. No signs of anyone coming which was both a relief and a curse. As if something would happen soon. And happen it did-

Rain pelted everything and you jumped as the first clash of thunder crashed throughout the heavens- The last rays of the setting sun was dowsed by the watering night and all light finally left, making the shadows more powerful. More bigger. The outstretched hands of darkness caressed the world in its grip. You quickly stepped across the the muddy ground before being able to get back inside, arms full of wood for the fire. You took a moment to look back behind you. The wind picking up as the rain reigned supreme. The slight dampness of your kimono being proof of that. A shiver went down your spine. You hated raining nights. It reminded you too much of a bad ghost story. Back inside it was warm and safe. Your boys curled up snug and warm in bed fast asleep. Safe from any dangers. Your legs took you a step forward, your foot slowly slid the door closed- Only to meet resistance once it was almost closed.

"Hm?"

Your head turned to the door. A light whistling noise was established by the wind blowing through a small space. The door was cracked open just about an inch. You tried pushing it closed all the way but it didn't budge. What the- Your other hand reached up to try and push it shut with both hands. It didn't budge. You started to push harder and harder to try and get it closed. It didn't move. Soon you were pushing it as hard as you could with both hands and a shoulder pressed against it but still it did not budge. With a grunt you stopped and stared at the door before looking at the very bottom of the door. There wasn't anything jammed there blocking the door from closing. So why wasn't it shutting all the way?... Perhaps the outside of the door was caught on something? The logs were quietly placed to the side to not wake the boys. You decided to open the door again to see if an outside factor was causing this problem. Your hand grabbed the door once again but instead of pushing you pulled...and was again met with the same unmoving resistance. You started pulling harder and harder. Nothing. What was going on? You reached out to slip your fingers through the small crack in the door to grab the door and began pulling with all your might. The door was still resisting. Why wasn't it budging? Surely it couldn't have gotten stuck. It was perfectly fine a few hours ago! What was wrong? This hadn't happened since that time when-...You completely froze..you looked at where your hands gripped the front of the door. Only to freeze ice cold at what turquoise irises saw. Your fingers gripped the doorway-

 But under them a third pair of fingers gripped the door slipped in through the small crack outside. The large fingers ended in sharpened nails jabbing themselves into the wood embedded themselves firmly into place.

CLASH!!

You let out a silent scream and jumped back in fright falling over the logs and falling to the floor as another crash of thunder crashed overhead. Rain beared against the roof. Wind howled. Thunder crashed. And lightning flashed as you froze up. Your eyes shrinking to the size of pins as you stared at the hand clutched onto the door. It stayed like that for a long, long time. You couldn't move. Couldn't speak. Only stared in an unholy horror you've only once ever felt before as the hand and yourself remained unmoving as if in some staring match. 

The. Hand. Moved.

It physically tightened it's hold on the door before pulling back the door slowly. The door opened wider and wider revealing the outside. Your jaw fell open. Your eyes shrank as small as they could go. The door made a soft thud sound as it opened all the way and revealed the entity lurking on the other side.

CLASH!!

A bolt of lightning lit up the dark figure now revealed to you in the doorway. Wind blew around mahogany colored hair wildly cascading down his back and framing his face. Pale skin akin to a corpse. The black hakama pants and purple haori coat blew around straining against the tall body that wore them against the wind. A flash of lightning. Bolt of thunder. And the lighting up of six irises. The figure remained unmoving for a solid second staring inside and directly into your eyes. Silence aside from the weather resumed...The large figure took one step into the home, the door slid all the way closed behind him.

"It took me long enough to find you."

If someone else were rivalling for your love and well, they would probably find out about it.

• It would not be good for either of you.

•Yuichiro would be more leaning on the side that you are the one who is purposefully doing this to make them jealous.

• While Muichiro is gonna be leaning towards that it is the person's fault.

• So, you can see first both the twins going after that person and capturing them.

• Then comes your turn, they would then kidnap you.

• Both of you would be tied up and the twins would interrogate you both.

• Muichiro would wanna hear your side of the story but Yuichiro wants to hear what the other person has to say.

• So all in all, it is not good for any of you.

• While Yuichiro would be asking the person as to what you were doing with them, Muichiro is asking what they were doing with you.

• And both of you make different stories.

• Which just causes more trouble for both of you.

• But lastly, Yuichiro and Muichiro both agree to kill that person and to well..punish you as Yuichiro recommended.

• Now the part when someone insults their polygamous relationship.

• Muichiro would ignore them in favour of helping you walk because they broke your legs as a punishment. Even though you didn't even know they were goddamn stalking you and in love with you??

•Yuichiro would outright scoff and roll his eyes at them, saying "Fuck off."

Though, the person still didn't fuck off and continued to insult.

They were somewhat okay with it.

• Narrator: They were not okay with it.

• But then well, the person took it too far by saying that it looks like you are being forced into a relationship with them.

• Which they were right about. Imao, sucks to be them.

• You were happy someone noticed it and were gonna speak up saying that yes, you are forced into this relationship and need help to move far away from them.

• When Muichiro smiled sweetly, very sweetly at you and forced his hand on your mount preventing you from speaking.

• And Yuichiro just forcefully grabbed your hand and harshly yanked you to start walking glaring at the person and you.

• The next day, the person was found dead. In a very gruesome way.

• Their arms were cut off.

• Their legs were cut off.

• Their ears were cut off.

• Their tongue was cut off.

• Their eyeballs were plucked out.

• Their eyebrows were then waxed.

• Their hair was cut off.

• I'm not sorry. Haha. If you get it, you get it.

• But if they were to not kill the person, they would cut off their tongue and fingers and warn them to not, to not ever talk about this again.

• If they do, then they die. Haha. Death go brrrrrr.

CHAPTER FOUR ━ REVENGE ?

"Shut the fuck up, Yuichiro." Were the sudden words that caught Yuichiro Tokito's attention.

Brushing off his shocked and semi-hurt expression, he smirked at his younger brother.

"Aw, you're pissed because you know that's true!" Yuichiro hops off of his bed.

"You know Y/n will never love your sorry ass!!"

Muichiro clenched his fists, "You're speaking as if she'll ever love you back."

He scoffed, "You make Y/n uncomfortable everytime you come around her."

Yuichiro couldn't help but blush at the mere thought of you. But it soon disappeared at the sight of his drenched twin brother.

The sound of your perfect name leaving his mouth disgusted him in way he couldn't put into words.

"It's very obvious that you lov- like Y/n as much as I."

Muichiro crossed his arms and began to mutter "delusional ass-"

"—Of course I do, Mu-mu!" Yuichiro stomped his foot to the ground.

"Why the hell else would I go through all this shit just so you wouldn't be near her for a few hours." Yuichiro spat, shoving his hands in his pants pockets.

"I'll love her more than you ever will in your entire fucking life."

Those were the last words that left Yuichiro's mouth for a while.

Because Muichiro, acting on pure impulse, sent his fist flying towards his older brothers face.

He watched as his brother stumbled back against his bed. Shock painted on his features as his eyes went wide.

Yuichiro gently grazed his fingertips across his face where he could still feel the pain from the punch.

He removed his hand and glanced at the blood coating his finger tips.

Did he make my fucking nose bleed!? Yuichiro thought as he locked his gaze onto the sheets of his bed. Quickly, he jerked his head over in the direction of his livid little twin brother.

Muichiro's usual expressionless face showed one that was more sinister than normal.

As if he felt zero remorse for his actions.

Licking off the blood trickling down his nose, Yuichiro did not retaliate, surprisingly enough.

"That's only the first part of my revenge," Muichiro grabbed his backpack off the ground.

"Watch your fucking back, Yu-Yu." He turned and left.

7:55 AM

The twins didn't speak to one another that morning. They were still angry about what happened yesterday.

Yuichiro managed to cover up the bruise mark on his face with a little makeup.

Coming to the realization that he had ran out of foundation, he decided to steal some from Muichiro's bathroom.

As if he would ever notice.

When escalating the steps of the school bus, Muichiro snickered to himself, he didn't even properly blend the fountain properly...

Once arriving at the seats the three of you usually sat in, they could help but notice that the key element was missing.

"Y/n's not here. You think she's late?" Yuichiro pondered in a semi-kind tone of voice.

Muichiro just rolled his eyes at his futile attempt to be "nice," "I'm surprised you didn't kidnap her with your Ayano Aishi ass." He mumbled under his breath before sitting in your window seat.

"I heard that, jackass." Yuichiro threw his stuff on the floor beneath his seat behind his twin.

"That was the point." He replied bluntly and stared off into the window.

As the bud stopped, Muichiro forcefully shoved his way past his brother and got onto the campus before he could.

Yuichiro glared at the black and turquoise haired student before rushing up behind him with his own things in tow.

The twins entered the school without even passing a glance to the other, still angry.

At the shoe lockers, Yuichiro was replacing his with his uniform shoes when he spotted Muichiro slide something in between the cracks of your locker's door.

Muichiro then stood up, confusedly tilting his head at his brother, "Why are you just staring at me? Hurry and get to class or you'll be late."

He turned on his heel and left.

For some reason, Yuichiro's mouth felt dry. Or maybe even sewed shut?

He couldn't think of anything rude to say in response and it pissed him off even more.

He'd usually just snap back at his brother and start an argument.

But he didn't.

Yuichiro got to class a few minutes later than Muichiro.

He was lost in his own thoughts about something...

You're probably wondering what it was he was obsessing over at the moment.

But I'll leave that to be found out later.

Muichiro looked as if he had his head in the clouds as his dreamy, blue irises locked themselves on one particular object in the classroom: the front door.

He was waiting on someone and I bet you have a pretty good idea of who it is.

Yuichiro entered the class, making the already sat boy frown.

Walking over to his assigned seat, he could hear the many voices of other female students in his class quietly giggling and gushing over how cute Muichiro looked or how attractive Yuichiro was.

But he didn't care, he actually learned to tune out those annoying-ass voices and focus on what was most important to him.

And it wasn't Muichiro.

Yuichiro sat down in his seat that had a vacant one right beside it. He couldn't help but feel this void of sadness whenever he looked over at your empty seat.

When you weren't around, both twins equally felt this sort of emptiness.

As if you were some type of drug they were having withdrawals from.

"So, she's not here?" Yuichiro looked over at his brother with a face of slight worry painting onto his features.

Muichiro replied with a simple nod, not feeling the need to verbally reply.

Then, just when all hope was lost, you burst through the classroom doors. You were panting and out of breath, like you ran to school all the way from your home.

You threw your backpack on your desk and began unpacking your binders and books. You wiped the sweat off your forehead as you glanced over at the older twin's smirk.

"Well look who decided to show up?"

You frowned at his teasing voice.

"Shut up." You pulled out your chair and slumped down in your seat.

Muichiro, who was staying silent this whole time, let out a quiet snicker.

You barely noticed it but Yuichiro definitely did.

"So what took you so long Mrs. Tokito? Were you doing your pretty little makeup and lost track of time?"

You dug in your bag for a mechanical pencil as he spoke.

"Haha, so funny..." you sarcastically laughed in response.

Once pulling out the pencil, you couldn't help but notice the poorly blended patch of foundation on his cheek.

"It seems to me that you were also playing in makeup this morning." Yuichiro's eyes widened at her words.

"Who's foundation was it? Your mommy's?" You laughed as Yuichiro stared at the side of his face in the camera app of his cell phone.

"Muichiro! Why didn't you tell me I looked like a fucking clown!?" Yuichiro panicked, not really knowing what he could do to fix his problem.

"Dunno." Muichiro mumbled with a shrug of his shoulders.

3:55 PM

For you, today was a really weird day.

When you first got to school, a strange note fell out of your shoe locker when you were changing them into the uniform ones.

The author is too lazy to write an actual letter, but the anonymous person asked if you could meet them on top of the school building. They had a really important question to ask.

Of course you couldn't go on with out telling Aoi and Kanao. They thought it was a really sweet and gesture and that you should actually go.

It'd be rude to not anyway.

Now here you are, standing on top of the school building waiting for said "anonymous person" to arrive.

Figuring to be standing there for a while, it surprised you when you saw the door swinging open and hearing footsteps.

But who stood at the door shook you to your core.

"Yuichiro!?" You shouted, sounding a bit disappointed.

Yuichiro stood there with his hands in his pant's pockets as the door shut behind himself.

"Did you miss me, princess?" He smiled smugly before taking a few steps closer.

You couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed at the fact that it was Yuichiro Tokito asking to meet you here. It's like attractive boys just don't to have crushes on you.

You took a step back every time he took one forward, "What do you wa- Aah!" You yelped as  you were nearing the edge of the school building.

"Why're you backing away from me?" He pouted, "You know I won't hurt you, right?"

He offered a hand to her.

You reluctantly took his hand.

That was a mistake.

Yuichiro forcefully pulled you closer, causing you to stumble on your own feet.

"What are you d-"

"—can you please shut up? You're ruining the moment." He muttered as he grabbed your other hand.

"What mo-"

Shutting you up completely, Yuichiro leaned in and pressed his soft lips against yours.

Your eyes went wide with shock and bewilderment. He squeezed your hands tighter as he leaned in more.

Somehow, you managed to push him off. If you didn't, he probably would ever let go of you.

"Did you just fucking kiss me!?"

You and the Tokito Brothers were pair of lovely childhood friends once, ONCE, You don't think that you and the brothers are friends anymore now that those brothers has become very famous and maybe even forgot that you're exist, forgot everything that you and the brothers has been through as a child, so you draw the line between them and you.

You start to call them by their family name, and when you're going home, you tried your best to go out really fast so that you won't go home with them and even choosing the different route, not the one you and the brothers always go back in those days, everyday, you grow apart from them and maybe even forgot that they're exist...

However, they're not stupid, they noticed how you stray further from them, they even noticed how stiff and cold you are, you never came to their house and wake them up and went to school together, you never ask them to have lunch together anymore, you never ask them how's their day going, you never take them to the diner everytime you both go home after school and you never call them "Mui-chan" or "Yui-tan" anymore.

This sadden both of them? Why? Why would you draw the lines and forgot them? Did they do anything wrong to you? Did they say something wrong to you?

Yuichiro and Muichiro actually had always liked you, as in like-like you, they always do ever since you both are pair of wee tykes, so the fact that you start to avoid them really hurt them so much that they keep themselves up all night and thinking about why you avoid them.

Even though you're no longer talk to them, you're not lonely, you still have your good friend, Tanjiro Kamado, he is a kind and thoughtful boy, you really like how he always wear the hanafuda earrings despite the fact the school didn't allowed him to just because it was once belonged to his father, you like how he keep it on regardless the rule, everyday you spend your time with Tanjiro and his friends and sister, but you enjoy spending time with him the most.

Unfortunately, this somehow trigger something in the brothers, they're sad and angry that you start ignore them and be with other guys instead of them, everyday the awful feelings grow and grow, they start became rather obsessive towards you, you might not feel like it but the brothers started to stalk you and your friends with jealousy and obsession inside their minds.

Many unpleasant scene across their minds, there are a lots of possibilities of them hurting Tanjiro in anyway possible, why?

Because he stole you away from them, he stole the love of their lives, what give him the rights to be with you when they know you more than he did?

The more they see you with Tanjiro, the more toxic they are, they can't really take it anymore, so they decided to make a move.

Tanjiro, first...

It's just a regular day in the academy, Tanjiro was outside by himself and not with you because you have to run some errands with Kocho senpai at the library, the brothers take the liberty of this and approached him with a sinister glare in their empty mint eyes.

"Oh! Good afternoon Yuichiro-san, Muichiro-san! Would you like to join me?"

The sweetness Tanjiro showed them is rather disgusting and unnerving, Yuichiro even start to scrunched up his face in disgust.

Without thinking twice, Yuichiro start to pull Tanjiro's collar, making the other boy flinched in surprise, "Y-Yuichiro-san?! What... what's wrong??"

"Stay away from, (Name)..."

"Huh?! Why would I...? She's/he's my friend! How can I even stay away from her/him?!"

In a flash, Muichiro start to punched Tanjiro square on his face, he land another one as he try to speak "Don't say anything else... This is a warning, Kamado" he said dusting off his hands "You don't want anything happen to your lovely sister and friends, don't you?" As Muichiro mentioned Nezuko and his friends, Tanjiro glared up at them "You wouldn't!"

"We would" they say in unison, Tanjiro gritted his teeth and ready to attack them, but they swiftly dodged it causing him to fell forward, Yuichiro then stepped on Tanjiro's back, "This is your last warning, Kamado, if we see you and (Name) together, there will be hell to pay for your precious sister and friends"

He pull his feet off and scowl at Tanjiro's figure "Let's go, Muichiro"

He nod and went off with his brother, meanwhile Tanjiro just glared over his shoulder at the twins as he clenched his fist "I'm so sorry, (Name)"

You sighed as you make your way home, today Tanjiro doesn't seem feel well that he didn't want to walk with you, another problem is that he seemed to avoid you left and right, you wonder if you did anything wrong to them.

As you keep walking you start to feel pair of eyes are on you, you start to feel really anxious about this, so you picked up the pace, and as you heard a rapid footsteps behind you, you start to run faster with your heart beating wildly, who followed you here and why would they?!

You flinched as your assailant caught you and cover your mouth with an handkerchief to prevent you from screaming, you slowly losing consciousness and the last thing you saw was a familiar gleam of mint green eyes.

You slowly open your eyes...

Where are you now?

You're in bedroom, but not yours yet it looks familiar...

"You have come to, (name)-chan/kun?" A familiar voice said, alarmed, you looked around and to see Muichiro with a sick smile on his face "it's been a while since you're here, right, (Name)-chan/kun?" You were about to ask why would they do this but you can't since your mouth were gagged

"...?!?!"

"Nuh uh, (name) no talking" Yuichiro say, tutting and smirking at you "You have been a very bad girl/boy, haven't you, sweetheart? Avoiding us like a plague here and there?" You avert your eyes so that yours didn't see his eeriely empty mint eyes, you flinched as a hand sneak around your shoulders and to see Muichiro with same eyes and the sick smile on his face.

"We're sad, so sad when you avoid us, do you hate us or something?" You avoid both of their eyes and flinched as Yuichiro yanked the gag off your mouth "out with it, darling..."

You stayed silent for a bit then you meet their eyes "It's because since you both got famous!! You guys would see me as nothing now that everyone start to love you and you forget me like I am nothing afterwards!!"

They flinched and start to looked hurt at your words, Yuichiro gritted his teeth and put his hand around your neck "Is that what you think about us? How low you can be?"

Muichiro pouted sadly and lay his head on your shoulder "That's so mean, (name)-chan/kun, why would you thought we forget you because of fame?"

You feel guilty as Muichiro said that but that doesn't make up for what he and his brother do to you "That doesn't matter!! Just let me go-!!" You sputtered out as Yuichiro squeezed your neck tighter, it's almost hard to breathe "and let you being cozy with Kamado? Not a chance in hell, you don't want anything happen to him don't you? Muichiro and I are capable to hurt him in many ways more than one" you widen your eyes in fear, you knew them long enough to see where this is going.

"No please..." Yuichiro shoot a smirk to you "that's what I like to see, you begging us not to hurt your precious Kamado Tanjiro" he lean closer as he whispered to you "That means you have learnt your lesson, hm?" Yuichiro chuckled and kissed your cheek, making you flinch.

Muichiro giggled and do the same as he nuzzled himself against your neck "(Name)-chan/kun, you won't leave us now right?"

You just froze in fear and sadness.

Yuichiro chuckled again and slowly unbutton your uniform "she/he won't, Muichiro..."

"Because she/he belongs to us"

Well there we have it, I apologize if this doesn't meet your expectations and I owe you a little explanation and apologies

I actually starting to work on one shot and headcanons just for fun, my blog isn't exactly a writing blog like everyone and my friends, and in all honesty I couldn't take reqs really well, I only wrote for fun not for recognition or fame, I don't even like being "famous", I'm just here to have fun and doing art with my friends.

So I'm really sorry for being a hypocrite and gave you a false hope, if you want to request a fic or headcanon you can ask @ink-hashira or @kabura-maru since they're more capable and far more experienced than I am.

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry for not posting anything in a while, life has gotten a bit busy for me. I probably won’t be able to post again for a couple of days but I wanted to let you all know that I’m alive and we’ll just busy.

I’m also thinking of adding Black Clover and My Hero Academia to my writing list if anyone is interested. I personally think the Black Clover fandom is way too small, can’t find any good fics out there. Please recommend some of you can!
