Dying is vague, are they terminally ill, were they stabbed!? I'll get the Headcanons right away! I'm gonna go with dying slowly, none specified reason.

-He's distraught when he finds out, his lover, weather they're dating or not doesn't matter- he doesn't pay attention to the fine lines anyways- is dying.

-If they're something can do to prevent this then, believe me he will, even if it's magic related for generally frowned upon. (believe me he's gonna get the cure/solution if they're is one.)

-If they're is no direct fix, then he's going to do everything in his power to attempt to expand your life span, (As it currently stands.).

-If you die he may attempt to find any method to revive you, if all fails he will grieve endlessly.

-If- dying slowly, and in no immediate danger he may manipulate you quicker, as he feels like he has even less time, even more urgent.

-Convincing himself that you love him too, (and maybe you do) but don't want to break his heart with the news. But all is well! He still loves you, and will become 10'000 times more clingy. Don't even try to leave the domain, it'd just be awkward to have the guards refuse your leave.

・❥・He knew that Time was just as scarred as he was when it came to trusting people. He had been burned in the same way, hand scorned when offered too many times.

・❥・That's part of what gets him to settle just a bit.

・❥・He doesn't start any cuddle parties, don't get it twisted, but if you wanna sit next to him while he's restringing a bow, he won't say no.

・❥・But start slow. He's like an easily startled deer in this situation. Only you never know if the deer is gonna buck and curse you out, stomping away, or if it's going to simply turn on its heel and reinstate the original distance he kept between the two of you.

He would spot you by the side of the river and accidentally swim straight into a rock because he couldn’t stop staring at you.

You would hear his yelp of surprise and couldn’t help but start laughing when you see the Zora rubbing his head and glaring at the rock poking up in the middle of the river.

When he noticed that he’d caught your attention, he immediately swam over and introduced himself with his trademark wink and thumbs up.

You found him very funny and charismatic, but you had to be on your way.

You had some things you needed to get to a relative living remotely near Lanayru mountain.

Sidon would be struck with panic immediately.

You would wake up on a water bed a few hours later with a pounding headache to discover a sturdy chain Sidon had made Dento construct around your ankle.

“It’s dangerous around those areas” you’d hear Sidon say, leaning against the doorframe, looking apologetic

“You could get hurt.” 

You would start yanking on the chain, but it wouldn’t budge at all. “I couldn’t let someone as interesting and beautiful as you get into dangerous situations.” 

It almost sounded like Sidon was trying to justify his actions to himself rather than you. 

Sidon just knew that he couldn’t be separated from you, and he tried to find a way to justify it.

Both of you knew that his lame excuses weren’t the real reasons.

Sidon won’t let you out of his sight or anyone else in yours.

He will be the only one you see.

If we assume the Sidon Yandere Universe to be a martyr au where you pick Sidon before Link can get his share of character development, Link would probably choose to stay with you as a guardian.

The role of a protector is one he’s familiar with. Sure, satisfaction might be a distant memory, and it’s difficult to ignore the churning in his stomach when he has to step aside and make way for Sidon. But this is his assigned duty, reinforced by years of upbringing. Anything that deviates from that (jealousy, lust, love) is not in his job description, and needs to be promptly swept under a carpet.

You end up with two captors: a handsome Zora prince who you’ve chosen to be your husband, and the loyal Knight who diligently stands guard outside of your door, staring at you with a look even he doesn’t recognise as longing.
