Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Korekiyo is VERY touchy, though in weird ways, he's not like, casually grabbing your hand. It's more... inspecting? Running a hand down your arm checking something, grabbing your chin gently to analyze your teeth. He's very touchy, but in very odd ways. It's always gentle, except when he specifically doesn't want it to be, but it's definitely more like someone examining and running a finger on an item or specimen then like, affectionate touching.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Korekiyo will not kill unless the rival would be fit for sister. Torture and terrorizing on the other hand? That's on the table, I'm sure he's got questionable connections as well. There is no length he will not violently go, as long as it's not sending some unworthy wretch to his sister.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Korekiyo is again, gentle unless he actively doesn't want to be. He's very observant, almost poetic at times about it. Comparing it myths and stories and legends he knows, he will ensure his Kanashibari is well groomed, well fed, and beautiful.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

I look at you, we both look at Korekiyo's love hotel, we both nod in understanding that the answer is just "yes" no further explanation needed. Even the pain and desperation of their Kanashibari is beautiful.

Korekiyo is the weirdest mix of you know everything and you know nothing, he'll tell you a million stories both of folklore and his sister and past and everything, but then you realize you don't know what his favorite color is. He's like a closed but unlocked book, if you open it up he'll go on and on and one, but if you never realize you need to open it, you're going to miss a lot.

Kehehehe, even this too is beautiful, how they squirm against the rope. Do not worry Kanashibari, the knots aren't that loose.

It is not a game, it is very serious. Though he does enjoy escape's, if he actually felt any of them had a chance to work he'd flip out and get very angry. However, until that moment, he's just here to marvel at the beauty of their struggles and hopes.

Korekiyo does get jealous, in the same way he'd never let some swine be sent to his sister, he would threaten to tear the nerves out of any filth that tries to touch them.

Korekiyo is cordial, if a bit doting on most days. He ensures you're okay, checks the ropes and binds to ensure he's not causing nerve damage, infodumps for three hours. Sometimes though, he's in the mood for a different kind of beauty, those are the bad days where he embraces his more....sadism side.

I feel like Korekiyo would approach it the same way he'd approach luring a victim to be murdered, however that might be. So while he would treat you with cordiality and patience, he's waiting for that moment to get you alone before going beyond that.

Uhhh I'm gonna say no, it's kinda hard to tell with Korekiyo tbh. They are in fact, Just Like That.

No not really, Korekiyo is very certain about his moves, and why would he feel guilt when its so beautiful and also EXCELLENT for his studies to watch an study your reaction to this situation.

To korekiyo, their Kanashibari is a lot like a beautiful living statue or doll, so while they revere them, they do not hold respect for them. They are to be maintained and given proper dignity, but they are not a person.

I think most of the pining would be them dealing with the "want to send to sister but also? cute? kiss? keep? but also thats selfish? hm." and figuring what to do about that which would delay them, but probably not more then a year at most.

Kagehara's face seemed to twist into a look of happiness with a mix of something else you couldn't really identify. He was shaking and trying so hard to keep himself in one piece as he accepted your confession. You often imagine him with little hearts in those slate grey eyes of his, as cliché as that might sound. Those eyes that you rarely had the chance to get a good look at...which were staring back at you with a look of pure admiration. Something you were used to getting from him by now.

That look fills you with a sense of guilt. You know it's way too late to back out of this now. It's done, game over, you said it out loud and now you have to deal with whatever happens next. You knew that if he did stumble upon the truth that he'd be somewhat hurt, but forgiving. You wouldn't leave him alone after all, so why would he hold a grudge? Why would he ever even think about hating someone so nice to him? To go so far in order to make him happy, you, his friend, role model, his god partner. He'd want to move past it, you know it very well by now. His every move is predictable when he's right in front of you. At least, that's what you thought. He's...full of surprises.

Your first impression of him, he was...well...off-putting. He looked sick when you first met him, despite not getting to see his entire face half the time. You noted his extremely pale skin which contrasted with the blue he used to dye his hair, later noticing growing dark circles under his eyes as well as some other worrying things.

You almost felt like you were doing something wrong, following him around like this. You knew on some level it was rude to even stare for this long, but something was definitely wrong with him. You could see it in the way he moved. He needed help. He needed your help. Whether or not it was actually your place to help him wasn't your problem. You weren't just going to stand there and watch him waste away.

He never seemed to be able to get out much more than a "hello" before someone started talking over him outside of class. He was almost shaking in your presence when you worked with him on projects. He'd stutter on his words during class, showed a sheer lack of confidence in his body language, and had very few friends. An overall word you'd use to describe him: meek.

You noticed that he didn't seem to eat when lunch came around, he would just leave the classroom in a hurry. By that time you lost him completely, he always ran off somewhere most likely to hide. He didn't seem to like being around so many people at one time. The one time you tried looking for him you found him in the back of the school's library with his nose in a book, taking his eyes off of his book only to scan his surroundings for a few moments. You thought he spotted you since he made a face, but he went back to his book shortly after. Why were you even doing this to yourself? You two aren't even friends yet...

His weight was off for a guy his age, it was wayyy off. You figured that he was neglecting to take care of himself, which was more or less proved to be true the countless times he "fell asleep" passed out in class. His loosely fitting uniform didn't help relieve that suspicion.

You started bringing him something to eat everyday after your attempts of making friends with him. You lied and told him you simply made too much for yourself and thought he might like it. You almost had to force him to take it. He didn't eat it while you were there looking at him. As soon as you left the room though, you heard the familiar "tink" of the lunch box opening. You peaked in just to make sure he didn't just throw it away, but no, he was eating it. Rather....quickly you noticed. That...didn't help you feel much better.

He was being gossiped about on a daily basis due to his disheveled appearance before you started begging him to just eat something bringing him lunch everyday. It never seemed to help him that he was getting a little better, as these petty classmates of yours always made up lies to hurt him. It was never fair, not for him. You had seen him try to return a girl's bag, and the next day there was a new rumor that he was following her around like some creepy stalker. That rumor seemed to stick to him due to his timid behaviors that others mistook for being creepy.

A lot of the nice things you saw him doing were twisted into some nasty rumors. Despite the rumors he still tried his best to do nice things for the people around him, even if they didn't appreciate it or outwardly ignored him. Over and over you watched him try to please other people just so they'd see him on the same level as them. You pulled him away from that cycle before it ended up breaking him.

He never did anything really weird... Not at first. The longer that you knew him the more comfortable he got with talking about things he liked with you. He was obsessed with a murder-mystery show called Danganronpa. Seemingly unaffected by the amount of gore and blood you know the show had. He wanted to audition himself, talking about his death as if it were something to look forward to. When he went onto one of his rants about auditioning, you tried to change the subject to his favorite characters instead. You were doing it in an attempt to discourage him, but he never seemed to catch the hint. Other than that, he was sweet.

You saw him be shoved around on a few occasions, it was never anything too brutal in public. You never attempted to follow him home, so you wouldn't know that he gets jumped pretty often. Being his friend, he would sometimes come to you for help patching up some of the wounds. You didn't make the same mistake twice.

Everything was hitting him rather hard, you had just no idea how he was able to manage it for so long. You found out soon enough that he wasn't.

The times his sleeves would roll down you would notice what you first thought were scratches raking down his arms. The first time you looked past it, though the second time you actually looked instead of thinking he was fine. Old and new alike adorned him, some of which you had to get closer to see. He caught onto what you were doing and quickly pulled his sleeve back down before you could see the old bruises accompanying them. He was too slow with his reflexes though, and your face dropped.

He didn't look you straight in the eyes. Or rather, he couldn't.

You pulled his sleeve up again despite his minor protest.

"I told you I was going to be here for you...so why would you....?"

"I...I'm s-sorry..." He still wouldn't look you in the eyes, so you took his chin into your hand and made him look at you.

You didn't have the heart to start telling him how to live his life, but you weren't about to let this continue. You had a plan. Why didn't you stick with it.....?

He started following you around school not so soon afterwards, not to bother you intentionally, but somehow becoming your second shadow. It felt as if every time you turned around he'd be there, sneaking peeks of you around the corner of the hallway, or when he was feeling bold, almost stepping on your heels. At first, you thought it was a little creepy, as he never said much of anything to you while trailing behind. You had the notion to tell him to stop following you around. Then you would remember who he is, your friend. Your lonely, sweet friend that only wanted to be a little closer to you.

And then you remembered that just a short while ago you were doing the exact same thing to him. It wouldn't be fair to tell him to leave you alone when you more or less stalked him yourself. He'd already been hurt so much already, you weren't going to break his little heart by abandoning him.

All of that...lead you to this.

He was already in tears when you went to hug him. You weren't expecting that kind of reaction from getting a love confession, but you were happy to help him calm down a little. His grip was rather tight despite the lack of strength he really had.

He's still working on gaining that back so he could save you one day like you did him.

This wasn't a part of the plan, and yet, you feel somewhat relieved. He's so...sweet, you couldn't just let someone who didn't treat him right grab ahold of him. You tell yourself this was the only way, that telling the consoler wouldn't have helped him, that being away from you wouldn't have helped him. In some ways, you were right. He clung onto you much more than he did his other friends, like being away from you would kill him. You wonder just what would have happened had you stuck with the plan.

It was a tad bit annoying that his tears were choosing to soak into your shirt, but you can bear it. As long as he's happy, he can take as long as he needs to recover from this. Bouncing back has always been a difficulty for him, especially for negative events, as they always seem to play on rewind every time you leave him alone for the night/day. He hates being left alone, you learned that very quickly.

You don't say no to him. You don't even try.

If anything, you probably should've expected this. Shuichi's social anxiety always kept him from making real friends. The friends he does have are completely used to his behaviors by now. Being close to him is actually a lot more difficult to achieve than others believe it to be. Getting him to look you in the eyes instead of hiding behind that hat of his, being the hardest thing to coax him into doing himself. He was a lesson in patience, you would never bother spending so much time on anyone else.

Yandere Pregame Kaede Headcanons

Alright as usual, my pregame's have a very similar name to canon, but slightly different to differentiate themselves, Pregame Kaede shall be referred to as Kaene

Kaene is a very apathetic kind of person, likely longform undiagnosed depression. So she's very invested in anything that gets her to feel emotions, usually horniness or adrenaline. Your description says you're an adult so I get to go into both, yay! Though above cut will be as usual, maxes at PG-16.

Kaene has no faith in humanity, as we all know, but as such she finds no such desires to apply herself to anything that doesn't bring her the pleasure or emotion she craves. She's too apathetic to be like, openly an asshole or dress really attention grabbing, so on the outside she just looks like kinda bored, but sweet.

However, she won't hesitate to break that vision if she gets a chance to do something risky, like take a photo of something she shouldn't. She's not actively a bully per-say, but she will take an unflattering photo of someone for the thrill of trying to not get caught, not that she'd ever really do anything with it.

There is one secret she keeps though, and that's that she loves sweet cute optimistic kind of characters and people. She thinks its adorable and also kinda admirable that they keep being so kind despite it all. Someone who even in this horrible terribly boring world, they have the power to still be happy and kind and care about people? She loves it. She denies it though, because if she ever faced that she'd have to face the fact she's not happy how she is, and that she secretly wants to be like that.

Very much the kind of person who has Makoto as their favorite character but outwardly talks about how like, someone edgier like Mukuro or Genocider is their favorite.

So if you've got her attention, you're almost certainly a kind person, someone she watches helping people, or even helping her. Someone who radiates that kind of kind "i love the world despite it's flaws" energy. Who is also someone she is attracted too. She has very little experience with a genuine crush, normally just having fleeting sexual interest no strings attached kind of vibes.

So she channels her desire for more of that emotion, and a desire for risk taking behavior into that person! Taking pictures of them secretly, both loving that they get a picture of this person but also how their heart pounds at the thought they might get caught for it. Going for riskier and riskier plays, going from just taking a picture of seeing you randomly in the mall, to taking pictures of you at your house as she needs more and more of that thrill of the potential of being caught.

Really she doesn't even feel super big into the act of taking and having pictures like other yandere's, she's just into how risky it is. She's not going to print them out or plaster a wall with photo's or anything, its just quick to whip out your phone and take a picture. She's going to be doing a lot of other things too, she is going to read diaries, she's going to go bother you on social media, she's gossiping, she's recording you on the phone with someone. Anything as long as it gets her heart pumping harder.

She knows this is wrong, but she's too hopped up on feeling something and adrenaline to really care. Her thoughts get darker and more twisted as she tries to keep going after that high, loving it almost as much as she loves her angel. Finding new ways to risk getting caught, more daring, more dangerous, why just pictures? why not a recording? bugging? Why not steal something! Why not steal something big! She's building a shrine, mostly because she doesn't really...know what else to do with this toothbrush she stole on a whim? Kaene's really not thinking this through.

She's also somewhat protective, not like "someone looked at you so I killed them" levels, but if she thinks someone is being too mean or risking ruining the traits she likes, she is going to step in and cause a scene. She doesn't want what she sees as their naivety to be tarnished, it's important to her. Not super possessive either, Kaene will keep a firm grip yes, but she doesn't care if her angel talks to other people as long as she's got an eye on it and no one's tainting them. She's very casual even as a yandere, type of yandere to make you have a leash, but then go hang out with you at the mall instead of hanging around her house. Her natural apathy makes it harder for her to display more intense behaviors.

It might escalate to a kidnapping eventually, but honestly I feel like she's gonna get caught before it gets to that fact, so it would really depend on how that goes.

Like I said earlier, my girl Kaene is HORNY, she has a rather high libido and sexual thrill gives her a lot of the emotions and feelings she craves. Her definition of a good time is a girl on her lap, wrists tied, squirming. Heavy mean dom energies with her, also kinda shit at aftercare though I will say she at least tries she just struggles with being someone who can do that kind of care.

This will also fixate on her obsession, she's taking panty shots, she's watching them change, she's wolf whistling at them in public, she wants them so bad. Everyone that knows Kokichi would describe him as "broken" and "hollow", like he just isn't himself, and most of them don't know why...

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ That is, until one day, when you had dared to do your shopping in an area you knew D.I.C.E. activity was prevalent. You figured that with Kokichi so depressed, D.I.C.E. had probably disbanded as a whole, if not greatly decreased its activity.

Your second mistake was assuming Kokichi would have mercy on you after you woke up tied to a chair with D.I.C.E. members in uniform, masks and all, surrounding you. When you asked what was going on, the girl with long brown hair simply replied "Kokichi will be here soon." And that sentence terrified you beyond belief.

D.I.C.E. left you to suffer Kokichi's fury on your own, but you knew you'd see your secondary caretakers again...

Was listening to 'True Love Restraint' earlier and thought about Kiibo(surprise surprise) being a yandere towards Shuichi. Maybe he becomes a yandere due to a program(yandere.exe lol) being installed into him. It started to make me think about Kiibo's character within the game.

Like, we all know his actions for the most part were controlled by his inner voice(aka, the audience participation) but how much of his personality is real and how much is it fake? Is he truly a sweet guy who's easily flustered and lacks social skills or does he act that way cuz the audience tells him to?

Ooooooh~ I really like your ideas for the alternative mastermind au, especially with them having a somewhat romantic relationship with protag Kaede. Would you have the mastermind (and this goes both for Rantaro and Kokichi (and maybe Saihara?)) become yandere-ish towards her, or would they have a different kind of dynamic?

Okay, so I looked though my stuff because I didn't think I had an alternate mastermind AU???? The only one I can find that might fit is Ricochet, from my fic title game, so that's one I'm using.

Recap, bc i'm too lazy to link: Kaede managed to accidently kill Shirogane in chapter 1, they discover she was the mastermind, and just when she thinks they can all escape, Team Danganronpa hits the reset on their game, but for some reason, only Kaede remembers the previous start and things are different. She's labeled the Ultimate ???, Rantaro knows his talent (adventure, not survivalist), Shirogane isn't evil, and there isn't a secret mastermind room. Kaede has to figure out what's happening and how to keep everyone alive.

So, this au needs a different mastermind if Shirogane is normal. Honestly, I think the best Team DR could do on short notice is make Keebo the mastermind, or at least a spy or agent while they scramble to find a different mastermind. They mess with his memories so he has a false memory of being in a previous killing game with Kaede where she made it to the final chapter (making her the Ultimate Survivalist in this game), so he's really nice because he considers them friends and costars.

I like the idea of Keebo being a yandere in that context. Like, during the day, he's super sweet and supporting towards Kaede, but at night he's brooding, trying to make motives that would manipulate the others that are interested in her and make them kill each other.

Kaede tries to stick with the people who have changed the least after the reset, since she's more comfortable with them and is worried she might do something that makes her look sus. The people who have changed the least are Himiko (who is my chap 1 murder vic), Angie, and Kokichi. Angie and Kokichi switch between being Kaede's love interest and foil until one of them gets killed (probably Angie bc I can't bare to kill Kokichi). The remaining one becomes overly protective, but not necessarily yandere. Border yandere, maybe.

Rantaro will likely fill in after that death and Kaede discovers that he's a genuinely good person now that he isn't a walking mystery. Rantaro definitely has a dark side, though; he got to the final chapter of his first game for a reason, after all.

Team DR changes Shuichi to make him incredibly sus of Kaede, thinking she's the mastermind. He would treat her coldly bc of this.
