If someone spoke of softness, the last person anyone would think of is Prince Aemond Targaryen. Of the current king’s children and of all the living Targaryens, his dragonsblood ran the hottest.

However, he is thankfully no second coming of the Rogue Prince, Daemon Targaryen. And yet, there is no denying that his ferocity with a sword is on par with his royal uncle.

How fitting is it that it is to Daemon he falls to? Dark Sister pierced through his remaining eye as he fell into the God’s Eye, still strapped to the enormous mass of Vhagar. 

Despite being a brutal death, it is a glorious end to the man that had the blood of dragonlords and conquerors coursing through his veins. Even through the excruciating pain, Aemond accepts his own death with grace and dignity as he surrenders himself to the Stranger.

And so, Aemond the Kinslayer awoke with only a single Targaryen-purple eye as the empty socket on his right throbbed from beneath the layers of bandages. He is once again a mere boy of ten summers who’d just lost his eye in exchange for the world’s largest dragon.

His mother, Queen Alicent, is near hysterical as he lay there, an uncharacteristic calm for a child that had permanently just lost half of his vision. And even as the maester arrived to attend to him, there was only one thing on his mind:

The young Prince Aemond seemed changed after the harrowing ordeal that had lost him an eye and gained him a dragon. He threw himself into his studies and swordsmanship as if in preparation for something bigger than a mere second prince.

Perhaps losing his eye had awakened the blood of kings and conquerors that laid dormant within his blood because it was he who sat upon the Iron Throne. 

Unlike his older sister, Crown Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Aemond regularly involved himself in the affairs of the realm. Rather than leisurely enjoying his time from within the sturdy walls of the Red Keep, he seemed to have inherited the wisdom of the Wise King Jaeherys himself. Some say his brush with death at such a young age had also gotten him a blessing from the Crone.

During the last year of their father’s reign, his older brother, Prince Aegon II, willingly abdicated from the line of succession, becoming a staunch supporter of Aemond’s claim to the throne instead. 

A second Great Council was petitioned by the nobles of Westeros themselves as King Viserys I rapidly deteriorating health signaled the end of his reign and what could only be civil war…

I mean, look at HIM. He's such a fucking derp and cool at the same time compared to Demiurge, who is all cool and professional. Well fuck that, I want a man that looks professional while being a derp. If I had to choose being in a room between Pandora's Actor or Demiurge, I will have to pick PA. Because it is canon where Demiurge genuine kindness is fake and I have a 99.99% chance that I will be sent to the farm getting skinned alive because I am human or becomes bones.

While PA, it is unknown if he hates or tolerates humans, but he does put up a facade if calls for it. But since it's not required yet, I feel like he would just be tight lipped out information regarding Nazarick. Unlike other characters in Nazrick, he would actually question Ainz's orders and place suggestions on it, while Demiurge would misunderstood and explains Ainz's "plans" for him.

Also VERY GREAT YANDERE MATERIAL OUT OF HIM. This man is everything needed for yandere making; he acts, can transform, manipulative, strategic, patient, and the fact he can probably take care of you better than Demiurge. Personally, I see Demiurge being ruthless when caring for a capture darling, using more for fear tactics to break down will faster -- due to him being a demon and all, he thrives off seeing fear. Though I could also see that he'll also take good care of darling like Pandora's Actor, it just depends on his mood and how long it took him to get you in his demonic clutches. While Pandora's actor is patient, he can wait as long he likes to. He got time. Being a sole person in the treasury, it taught him being patient and being used to being alone for a long period of time. You can ignore him and avoid him all you want, but that carnal desire of human contact will get you there -- creeping up to you slowly. Oh it'll take him time to tame you, but he'll gladly take the challenge. Stockholm Syndrome anyone? He'll treat you better than a yandere Demiurge.

i actually really wanted to make the series darker because it is a yandere story, but then i realized that i kinda gravitated more to soft yanderes. so here we are with yandere genshin cult.

let's be honest, if you're gonna be isekai'd into genshin, you might as well make the most of it (especially with a cast that just seems a bit too lenient on having you). you can fully accept your circumstances or grit you teeth as your oh, so lovely worshippers decide what seems to be the best for you.

about a few weeks in the teapot after being abducted, it should click in your head that if you play your cards right, you can minimize any damage-- including in-fighting among characters and massacres. but that's if-- and only if-- you play your cards right.

A Sneak Peek

In the year 2138 AD there was a term: DMMO-RPG. That word was an acronym for “Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game”. It was a revolutionary new way to play games that used virtual reality and nano-technology. Among the myriad DMMO-RPGs that thronged the market, one of them stood head and shoulders above the others: YGGDRASIL.

That game had been painstakingly developed and released twelve years ago, in 2126.

Compared to other DMMO-RPGs of the time, YGGDRASIL’s selling point was player freedom; it had over two thousand basic and advanced job classes.

Every class had a maximum of fifteen levels, and so in order to reach the overall level cap of one hundred, one would need to take at least seven different classes. However, players could take as many classes as they wanted as long as they met each class’s prerequisites. A player could even take a hundred classes at level one each. As such, in that system, it was exceedingly difficult to make identical characters unless one was deliberately trying to do so.

One could use various creator tools (sold separately) to fully customize one’s armor, weaponry, flavor text, appearance, and other cosmetic settings. A vast playing field awaited its players. There were nine worlds in total: Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Muspelheim.

In essence, YGGDRASIL boasted a massive world, numerous classes, and freely customizable appearances.

It was inevitable that it would skyrocket in popularity and infinite the muses of millions of creative players.

Of course… that was all in the past now.

A gigantic table carved of gleaming black stone sat in the center of a luxurious room, surrounded by forty two chairs. Of all of those chairs, only three were occupied.

One of the seated attendees was clothed in a magnificent black academic robe edged in violet and gold. The collar was excessively gaudy, but it still melded well with the overall design. The person’s head was exposed, revealing a bare skill. Points of dark red lights glowed in its large eye sockets. Behind that skull pulsed a halo of black radiance.

Further down the table was a being that was not human either, merely a mass of black, sticky substance. Its tar-like surface roiled and writhed continuously, never staying in shape for more than second.

At the very end was a person who at a glance could pass as human, if not for the pointed ears and wings at their back. That person wore magnificent priestess robes of silver and blue. Its halo at the back of its head illuminated its long curly white-blonde hair.

The first attendant at the table was an Overlord, the highest-ranked of an undead magic-caster. The second was an Elder Black Ooze, which boasted the most powerful corrosive ability of the slime families. The last was a Seraph Empyrean, the highest-ranked of an angel-raced healer.

One might encounter those monsters in the most difficult of dungeons in YGGDRASIL. Overlords could use powerful curses or spells of the highest tiers of magic; Elder Black Oozes were dreaded for their ability to degrade weapons and armor; and Seraph Empyreans were universally despised when found near bosses.

However, they were not game monsters, but players.

In YGGDRASIL, players could choose their character races from three broad groups: humanoid, demihuman, and heteromorphic.

Humanoids were the basic player type and comprised humans, dwarves, wood elves, and the like. Demihumans tended to be ugly, but possessed superior attributes to humanoids. Examples of demihumans were goblins, beastmen, ogres, and so on. Finally, heteromorphic races had monstrous abilities, but despite their stats being generally higher than those of other races, they also possessed various drawbacks. There were around seven hundred playable races in total, including the advanced versions of those races. Naturally, the Overlord, Seraph Empyrean, and Elder Black Ooze were among the high-tier heteromorphic races that were playable.

The Overlord—who was speaking at the moment—did not move his mouth. That was because even the most advanced DMMO-RPGs of the time still could not overcome the technological hurdle of properly modelling the changes on a character’s face in response to emotions and speech.

He spoke in a jovial tone, “It’s really been a while, Herohero. Although this is the last day of YGGDRASIL, we didn’t expect you to show up.”

The slime wobbled. “Indeed it has, Momonga.” The slime nodded in the direction of the Overlord, then at the angel who nodded back in return. “Lumière.”

“How has work been for you?” asked the angel.

The slime sighed, letting loose a small tirade of complaints. Momonga and Lumière listened patiently as their friend vented.

After about ten minutes, the torrent of words that flowed from Herohero dwindled to a trickle.

“...I’m sorry for making you listen to my whining. I can’t complain much IRL.”

“It’s really no worries,” assured Momonga. “We’re happy you were able to come by at all.”

“Ah. It was so nice to see you both after so long. I was afraid to find no one here.” Herohero’s tentacles waved at both of them. “But it is getting late… How long will you two be on?”

“Until we’re automatically logged out once the servers shut down,” answered Lumière.

“Since it’s still a ways off, we might get more visitors like you,” added Momonga.

“Ah. I hope so. I see you both have taken good care of this place.”

Momonga and Lumière did not respond, neither of them wanting to show the surge of mixed emotions Herohero’s words caused.

There were a few more parting words, but eventually, Herohero left and it was only the two remaining members once again. Momonga sighed again and Lumière spared him a glance. Their expressions could not be relayed through their avatars so she sent him a frowny face instead.

The quiet disappointment was understandable. Their guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, had slowly died out over the years as more and more members left the game. In the past two years only Momonga and Lumière regularly logged on. They had sent emails out to the other members of the guild asking for them to join them on the final day, but unfortunately only Herohero responded.

“I’m going back to the tower,” said Lumière. “Meet up later?”

“Yeah. I’ll talk to you in a bit.”

Lumière left after that point, teleporting to the Hidden Tower at the 10th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

The Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick had once been a six floor dungeon, but it had been dramatically altered after Ainz Ooal Gown took control of it. Currently, it was a ten floor dungeon, and each floor had its own unique theme. The First to Third Floors were modelled after a tomb. The Fourth Floor was an underground lake. The Fifth Floor was a frozen glacier. The Sixth Floor was a rainforest. The Seventh Floor was a sea of magma. The Eighth Floor was a wasteland. And the Ninth and Tenth Floors were the realm of the gods—in other words, the home base of Ainz Ooal Gown, which had ranked among the top ten of YGGDRASIL’s thousands of guilds. In the Tenth Floor there were a few hidden areas, although only one was regularly used—The Hidden Tower.

The entrance was hidden in the Throne Room. It was a tower built by Lumière, Blue Planet, and Amanomahitotsu as a hidden level. Not that it mattered since the only raid that came close to it was stopped in the Throne Room.

The tower had five levels, the first three dedicated as testing areas for Nazarick’s lead Researcher, Jack. The fourth floor was a luxurious library with a big fireplace, and lots of comfy spots to lounge in. At the top of the floor was Lumière’s room.

Upon entering the tower Lumière stopped before the Tower Guardian, Cheshire.

In a game like YGGDRASIL, guilds enjoyed several benefits if they possessed a guild base of castle tier or higher. The NPCs that the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick could field were undead monsters. These automatically spawning NPCs—or “pop monsters”—had a maximum level of thirty. Even if they were destroyed, after a while they would respawn on their own, at no cost to the guild. However, players could not customize the AI and appearances of these “pop” NPCs. They were hardly useful in deterring intruders, who were universally players.

There was also another type of NPC; the ones designed from the ground up to their makers’ satisfaction. If a guild possessed a castle-grade guild base, the owning guild would be allowed nine hundred levels to be distributed between any number of NPCs they wanted.

Because the highest level in YGGDRASIL was one hundred, by those stipulations, a guild could make seven level one hundred NPCs and four level fifty NPCs, or any combination thereof.

When designing an original NPC, one could customize weaponry and other equipment in addition to clothing and appearances. As a result, one could create NPCs that were far stronger than the automatic spawns and place them in key locations. Of course, not every NPC had to be designed for battle. A certain guild which called themselves the “Kitty Kingdom” fielded no NPCs other than cats or cat-related creatures.

It was a nice guild to visit.

Cheshire was one of those specially crafted NPCs. It was a shapeshifting fairy created by Lumière. Its default form was that of a dark cat with stripes and an eerie smile that showed several rows of sharp teeth. It was heavily inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, albeit with a more malicious mindset. It was designed to use “illusions” to trick players when entering such as changing what they see on screen to something else, or swapping what keys did what and so on.

Cheshire always floated down to whoever entered the tower. Its default setting would be to greet whoever came. It had a special message tailored for all the Supreme Beings.

“Welcome back, Mistress!” greeted Cheshire. As Lumière was its creator, she designed it to greet her as mistress, or my dearest lady. She gave the same order to her other creation, Jack.

Jack was stationed at the first floor of the tower. He was near some desks in the lab designed to look like a mad scientist laboratory. Lumière made up his character, leaning into an assassin-lich trope. She almost went with the skeletal appearance, but Bukubukuchagama talked her out of it. Bukubukuchagama bemoaned how there were already plenty of other “scary” monsters in the guild. She tried to bribe Lumière to make Jack a genderswap like her Dark Elves, but Lumière resisted. She compromised as a bishie. Or at least as much of a bishie as an undead could get.

Not that anyone could see it since Jack wore a mask.

That way he could appear as a “scary” monster to befit the evil lab, but in actuality, he was a pretty boy underneath which satisfied Bukubukuchagama. A happy Bukubukuchagama meant free visual novels for Lumière which in turn made for a happy Lumière.

Win-win all around.

Lumière brushed past both of her creations, stepping in to the laboratory and looking around.

Well, it is the last day, she thought as she glanced over at her creations.

“Come with me,” she ordered both of them.

Neither responded, both simply stepping closer to her. Er, well, Jack stepped forward while Cheshire hovered closer. She guided them up the tower to her favorite spot in Nazarick; the cozy little library.

With a wave of her hand she turned the fire place on and took a seat on the lush, red couch in front of it. She let out a slow sigh as she stared at the flickering flames.

She hadn’t even realized so much time had passed, she had zoned out watching the flames dance. That had been happening with greater frequency the past couple of weeks. Lumière’s body in reality wasn’t in good condition. It was a struggle to even get out of bed, her lungs slowly filling with fluid each day. She’d need another draining surgery in a month.

Her fatigue caused her mind to drift away, not quite falling asleep but close to.

What will I do when they shut the game down?

It was a question that had occurred to her several times, but she never found an answer. It wasn’t that YGGDRASIL was the only game she ever played--Civilizaiton CXI and Warhammer were nice ways to pass time, but YGGDRASIL was special to her. Ainz Ooal Gown was a place she finally had proper friends.

Lumière knew something was immediately wrong when the first breath she took was not one hampered. She reflexively breathed deeper and found that it did not incite a fit of coughing. Her eyes shot open and she abruptly stood up from her seat.

Even the movement came with ease.

Lumière twisted her body one way to another, breathing in the scents of--

Scents?! YGGDRASIL couldn’t mimic smells.

But lo and behold Lumière could distinctly smell the fire. It had a odd woodsy scent to it, as if it were scented logs burning inside. Lumière had never gone camping before, nor had she experienced fire first hand in her life. She marveled over the odd smell it emitted, sniffing delicately at it.

I quite like this smell, she thought.

“My dearest lady?”

Lumière twitched in surprise, looking over at Jack. The NPC had approached Lumière, a hand placed over his chest where his heart would have been had he not been undead. Jack, like all of Nazarick’s NPCS, had two default outfits: battle and casual. The battle would originally have only been triggered during a raid, so he currently wore his casual.

Lumière had been pretty huge into Sherlock and anime at the time of his design, so he was heavily inspired by an anime version of Jack the Ripper.

He had a black ulster coat with the collar flipped up. Underneath was a white button up shirt, and black and red suit vest. He had the classic dark white gloves, and black slacks to complete the look.

Oh, and of course the famous top hat. Could never, ever, forget the top hat for someone inspired by Jack the Ripper.

Lumière opened her mouth to say something but rapidly closed it. She placed a hand over her chest, breathing.

I can breathe easy. I have a sense of smell and touch. Is it--did I die?

Isekais were rather popular. Given her sickly body it wouldn’t have been too much of a stretch to say she passed away and had no memory of it.

The end result was still the same: she was in her avatar’s body. A body strengthened by a hundred levels and not plagued by illness or frailty. A smile curled her lips and she said, “Jack, how are you today?”

A question that an NPC could never answer unless specifically programmed for. Lumière had never given such line to Jack which meant that if he answered--

“Lovely now that I can gaze upon you,” he answered, stepping closer.

A surge of embarrassed adrenaline shot through Lumière at his intensely warm tone. Ah, wait--

She had almost forgotten how she programmed Jack’s personality. Leaning into the guild’s theme of “monsters” and “evil” she pushed on with his serial killer design. Cruel, sadistic, obsessive, and dangerously smart. She went all out, using a character design sheet Tabula put together. Lumière wasn’t as inventive or imaginative in the edgy department so she asked Ulbert to help. Ulbert had already made a pretty evil demon, Demiurge, and was delighted to try his hand at an evil undead serial killer.

At the end of the design she, as giggling joke with Peroroncino she added that he was a yandere for her.

Ahahahaha… I’m sure it’ll be okay.

The fairy disguised as a monster cat floated over with a wide smiles. “Yes, Mistress?”

She reached out and the monstrous feline leaned into her palm. She felt his fur, his warmth, and beneath it all a heartbeat.

Jack responded with an answer on his own, Cheshire is warm and has a heartbeat, I can move freely… I’m here. This is real. They’re real.

Lumière smiled shyly, taking Cheshire into her arms. He was fluffy and warm. “We’re going to the arena to meet with Momonga.”

“As you wish, my lady,” demurred Jack while Cheshire flicked his tail.

The most openly Yandere of them all.

It’s canon that she already abuses her servants, almost like a Master/Servant BDSM thing.

You, of course, would be no exception.

Besides the fact that you’d be her favorite, of course.

You’re well taken care of during the day by other servants, but when she is there you’d be her personal servant.

When you came around she stopped playing with the others, and focused solely on you.

She knows exactly what she’s doing. She gives you pain, then pleasure. She’s cruel, and then she’s overbearingly sweet. She knows exactly when to give and take until the point where you lose sense of reality.

And she absolutely lavishes in it.

To break someone like you, to have someone like you depend solely on her. To beg for her company, her touch, to grovel at her feet and plead and sob so beautifully...

It absolutely makes her heart soar.

Long nights of pleasure, at the mercy of her gentle yet dangerous touch as you’re rewarded for being a good little servant.

Or grueling nights of punishment, if you were to act out of line. Blindfolds, gags, whips... you learn your lesson quickly.

Quiet apologies as she coos, gently stroking your tear stained face with her nails. It was your fault that this happened... if only you had listened to her.

If you’re good tomorrow she’ll reward you.

She’d probably treat you like one of her pets

If you’re the type to run away a lot you’d have a collar and leash

But if you’re the obedient type you wouldn’t have the leash

Either way she wants you to be by her side at virtually all times

She doesn’t ever really hurt you physically, but she doesn’t take you seriously

Any plead or sob to go home is met with gentle cooing and a “silly, this is your home!”

She enjoys your reactions and your opinions, even if she doesn’t really seem to think of you as her equal

She also enjoys feeding you all sorts of food to see how you’d react

She giggles uncontrollably every time she sees you scrunch your face up in disgust, or smiles fondly when she sees you have a stupid giddy smile on your face at the sight of sweets

You’re there for her entertainment

Though luckily for you she seems to be plenty entertained with your mere self

You don’t want to imagine what would happen if she lost interest

The stalker/shy yandere

Had met you on a mission for lord Ainz

For some reason instantly became attracted to you when he saw you working in your village

For the longest time didn’t know how to approach you, so instead just settled with stalking you

He would use spells sometimes, but much preferred spying on you in person

He felt closer to you that way

Eventually he learned everything about you

Your name, age, favorite color, favorite meal, how you liked to make your bed,  that you liked to sit under the tree at the top of the hill to the east every sunday morning and-

He learned everything about you. And he absolutely fell head over heels... the only problem was...

You didn’t even know he existed.

Eventually you managed to spot him once, a slip up on his part really.

At first you thought he was a lost child...

He played along.

The two of you eventually grew close, him relearning everything about you. He was smart enough to not let you catch on to his stalkerish tendencies... being shy helped in that aspect.

Every time you held his hand, every time you smiled to him, every time you even appeared in his vision he felt his heart flutter and a wide shy smile spread across his face.

You noticed some of the males in the village go missing, ones that harassed you for whatever reason. A power trip, most likely.

In fact you noticed yourself just being safer in general ever since you met Mare.

There were no monsters out to harass you, your garden was growing beautifully... and all after you met him.

Maybe he was your good luck charm?

Just don’t look at other people the way you look at him.

The manipulative yandere

The most capable of hiding it

You’re probably a player too, that he came up across in his conquest

After making sure you were completely harmless and an asset to Nazarick he attaches himself to you

He begins to confide in you and seek comfort in you

But he worries, that you too would leave him like his comrades

He begins to instill doubt in you

Make you question yourself, to make you come to him for support

He wants you to be dependent on him, to rely on him, to trust him

If there was to be anyone that you confided in and seeked support from that wasn’t him, he would surely change that

He sets them up to be the bad guy, makes you believe that they’re no good for you

Eventually you cut ties with all of your old connections, but made new ones throughout Nazarick.

You’ve never felt so at home before a day in your life

And if anyone were to somehow point out his manipulative tendencies, he would have already gotten you to the point to where you would have never believed them

How could they say that? About Momonga? He was such a kind person, who was looking out for his kingdom. Of course he had to do some unsavory things but doesn’t every generous ruler?

And most importantly he was someone you cared about! And they say such things about him...

He plays it out until you willingly come to him

You’re the one who confesses, and he acts like he had no idea... but felt the same.

Everything is perfect, you follow him so willingly and so fatefully

And in turn you have the world presented to you for the taking...

But why would you need the world when you have someone like Momonga?

Are you familiar with the isekai anime/ light novel series "OVERLORD"? Because Ainz Ooal Gown & the forces of Nazarick could make for a decent Cartels sub-faction & Albedo fits the bill of "big curvy evil villain lady" (she's a succubus with a secret "true form" heavily implied to be based on a Nalfeshnee from D&D)

oh! i watched it with my brother for a while! I haven’t seen it since it finished that one arc with the giant shoggoth things (the ‘goats’), but I read pretty intently up on the light novel for lore stuff.

They absolutely would make a greart Cartels faction!

I even at one point considered them as being present as a villain to curbstomp but i thought that wasn’t appropraite to do.

Ainz is fascinating to me as a character because he’s a clear indication of someone descending into evil because they won’t engage with the beings around them as people. You can see his descent going on throughout the series; he starts as being disinclined to kill anyone, and progresses into more heinous actions for his own benefit, and the worst of it (in my opinion) is the lizardmen attacks, but at least the poor lizardmen are doing better.

Ainz strikes me not as someone whose willingness to be evil is due to his new undead nature (though his lack of human feelings is probably a component), but as an example of him still thinking of everything as video game characters. THey’re not PEOPLE to him, they’re NPCs to deal with, and he tends to regard them as enemies to be destroyed and... well, his evil makes a LOT more sense in that context. Try as he might, he just can’t see them as being individuals, and he’s stuck in the idea that it’s all just a game he’s in.

At the very least, he can steer his minions in a more pragmatic direction; they are absolutely Chaotic Evil whose sole saving grace as a group is their absolute loyalty to him, while Ainz himself is a strong contender for True Neutral.

Translating Isekai into Crossthicc’s own set up is difficult so how’s this for an origin; Ainz was once a human, a LONG, LONG time ago, a human wizard from an obscure and unimportant land, who ascended to lichdom. Alternatively, he may be the same kind of mosnter as Sans and Papyrus (making him VERY atypical of their kind, as undertale monsters seem naturally inclined to be Good), and has always been a skeleton. In any case, he and his fellow adventurers ascended to godhood.

At some point, something went wrong, and Ainz has become mortal, for a lich. He doesn’t know why or how, and while he’s interested in discovering what happened to his former pantheon (which is a good analogue to high-level PCs here), he’s mostly interested in carving out a domain for himself and running social experiments, as well as gathering whatever interesting treasures he can find.

Albedo is the finest creation of one of his fellow gods, a fiend who has become fixated on him as a result of some of his godly actions (accidentally); she typically is more standard sized at 30 feet, but can expand to theoretically unlimited sizes; she is VERY powerful, on par with the strongest warriors of the Fleet or Stingers, and can get planet sized easily! She can take on Nalfeshnee traits for combat, or as she monsterizes further when she goes full yandere. She adores Ainz, and is very hostile to pretty much anyone that isn’t him. Here, she herself is his throne; he just sits in her lap or cleavage.

ALl the other female monsters from canon are equally gigantic and hyper curvy, even if they were originally petite. Shalltear is likely the founder of a vampire line specific to Nazarick, for example, and the monsters have all been created by Ainz and his pantheon; they harbor absolute hatred and contempt for ALL non-Nazarick beings, regardless of species, as they are not of their makers.

Ainz has a distant relation to the Cartels; he views them largely as a necessary chore and the most effective way to get what he wants without having to engage much in politics, which he finds confusing and difficult to deal with; he is a strategist and scholar, though his immense power makes him the equal of the likes of Sierra or Vriska. He’s not a leader of the Cartels, merely a big influence, since mostly he does his own thing. Granted, those plans run completely counter to the Fleet and Stinger’s interests, and they can cross swords easily!

Ainz thus serves as an antagonist, but a situational one; he isn’t ideologically opposed to the Fleet, he’s just terribly ruthless and indifferent. His minions ARE (barring the more compassionate and genuinely good among them) genuinely evil, but restrained totally by what they think he wants. Accordingly, he CAN be allied with, but its not likely to be a comfortable one. Ainz expects to be the true leader of his territory and rebuild Nazarick’s former multiversal-spanning power during his pantheon’s heyday, and he does not care about the consequences to others.

Other gods are the most likely to act directly against him; Lucoa, Onyx Prime and Palutena of the fleet’s pantheon will work the most against him. Additionally, the fleet monsters like Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Undyne and Asgore have a particular vendetta against him.

Like, Reader was one of 41 members of the guild and was a close friend to Ainz (maybe like a childhood friend?). But unlike Ainz who got summoned to the New world, reader died and was reincarnated, but as a human (though they still have most of their abilities and skills for yggdrasil).

Reader hears rumors about a nation of monsters that sound an awful like Nazarick and decides to see if they truly are the same.

They run into Ainz dressed as Momon by accident and immediately recognizes Nabe as one of the six pleiades battle maid and accidentally calls her by her actual name.

But you hunger, you thirst, and you adorably get sleepy when you occasionally use your higher-level powers

And he just can’t let you leave now

Even if you promise you enjoy a farmers life

He waits for you to retire

Lifting your light and vulnerable body with his hands 

He immediately transports you to Nazarick

Tucking you in his bedroom before calling all the guardians to his side

He tells them the good news first

That another player has been found 

The entirety of Nazarick shakes with euphoria, desperately wanting to celebrate

But Ainz delivers the bad news too

That you are now human

Cursed with the lowest form of being in their hierarchy with 

your wisdom and power trapped inside such a fragile form

So depending on how Ainz screws up informing the guardians two lines of thought can be had

One: is that since you are human you need their protection more than ever and your safety and well being take precedence over everything

Or Two: That the disease of humanity has afflicted you and that they must do everything they can to cure it without injuring such a weak body

The second makes it harder for the guardians to respect you 

But both demand your safety 

Both demand your comfort

And both demand the interest of the guardians and workers of Nazarick who have been dying to adore you

You’re not exactly stationed on the throne but you certainly aren’t expected to go into the heat of battle

Unless you commence on your mission he never meets with the others without you or lets you go anywhere without his supervision

You’re all he has left…he refuses to put you in any danger

Granted he makes that clear in how he prioritizes you being in Nazarick the majority of the time

But as a fellow supreme being he can’t contain you for long

This is why he employs the guardians to disintegrate, eat, and annihilate all that threaten their other Supreme Being

They are all incredibly hesitant to go against your supposed wishes if you verbalize feeling trapped or stifled

But he makes this argument for you being a symbol of Nazarick

To be the very symbol of integrity that Nazarick has left

That encourages everyone to treat you both like grass as you’ll unintentionally order the same thing from them
