The psychic scream for help released by Anjinth the Shadowed was not heard by many. It was only possible due to the thinning in the barriers separating the planes of existence and only a very few gifted in magic could perceive his call.

Of the handful of people who could, almost all of them discounted it as either a hallucination or a demon trying to lure them in with pleas of help and promises of power.

In fact on all of planet Earth you, and you alone, could both hear his call and were willing to assist him.

Anjinth told you all about himself. That he had originally come from the same realm of man, from deep within space, and had molded Earth to his will. But he had been bound and sealed into a realm of shadow and despair from which he could barely even talk into our world. He could only manage to do so now because the walls between the worlds had thinned ever so slightly.

He told you everything that you would need to do to release him from his prison, and he promised you power, immortality, and land that you would be able to rule under him. How could you resist?

So for years you made it your unyielding mission to bring him back to your world.

Luckily you slowly amassed a small cult to assist you. You had convinced enough people of your cause, getting them to see that the current world needed to be united under one unquestionable ruler.

The first thing you had to do was either find the pieces of magic crystal that summoned the portal that he was kicked through or to make a replacement that was tuned to the same frequency.

Since the pieces of the old one were crushed and scattered you had to make a new one. This was easier said than done.

But eventually you and those working under you managed to collect enough lapis lazuli to build the structure. It was high quality.

You were not a particularly gifted mage though, so enchanting the lapis gate and attuning it to the reverberations of the void realm where Anjinth lay waiting was beyond your capabilities.

But you were not alone in this and many of the Anjinth cult members had abilities and specializations that surpassed your own.

Your boyfriend, Zereff, was one such cultist. He was perfect, he was just as dedicated to the overthrow of the current world's corruption and disorder as you were and magical enchantments and attunements just happened to be his strong suits.

With the help of your beloved everything was almost ready for the day of reckoning when Anjinth would finally be released from his prison.

All that was required now was the summer solstice and it wasn't a long wait.

When the solstice came the entire congregation joined hands around the portal and began chanting a spell in unison, the runes etched into the crystal glew with a strange purple light, and eventually the portal opened, twirling and dark.

A gleeful laugh could be heard from the other side, you recognized it as the laugh of Anjinth, you had heard it a few times when he saw fit to speak to you.

At least they seemed like bandages, but they must have been part of his body as they appeared to be like his pearl white skin, not fabric, and tiny little malformed hands grew from them in random spots, and they moved and grasped, as if seeking something unknown.

Despite a lack of eyes he looked down, regarding you and your partner.

Emerald- how does the yandere show their love?

Idia shows his love through quality time and gift giving (mostly so you won't be as compelled to leave him). He buys various paraphernalia from media he knHe'll try to play a game with you, watch a show with you, read with you, he tries to spend as much time as possible with you during the day. If you're not amicable enough to comply with what he wants to do however, let's just say it'll end in a train wreck. He's especially sensitive when it comes to you, so if you don't want to do anything with him, he'll shy away from you, muttering self deprecating thoughts to himself while fidgeting with his hands and apologize for bothering you, but he won't leave you alone completely, he'll most likely start to do something on his computer while looking back at you every 5 seconds. If Ortho is there, he'll try to reason with you to spend time with him, much to his brother's embarrassment.

Opal- what makes the yandere tick?

The only thing that would really tick him off would be persistent disobedience. He wants to be patient with you and consider your feelings, you're just making it extremely difficult for him. He'll try to persuade you or even guilt trip you into spending time with him, but if you remain firm in your stance, he'll have to actually leave you alone for a little while, don't try to escape during this time though, he will make sure that any possible points of escape are completely sealed, and even if you do manage to leave, he'll be sure to find you. In that case, it'll be one of the first times you'll see him downright furious, his hair turning into a roaring blaze, as he's incoherently screaming at you to the point where even he doesn't know what he's saying anymore. Ortho would have to break it up and calm him down, but don't worry he'll make sure you're alright too.

Lapis Lazuli- is the yandere controlling or manipulative?

Definitely more controlling than manipulative. To put it simply, Idia doesn't have the confidence to try and manipulate you in any way, opting to controlling every aspect of your life; he doesn't let you go outside, have basic privacy, or even interact with anyone that isn't him or his brother. He often tries to persuade you into hanging out with him, or even guilt trip you with the combined efforts of Ortho. You wouldn't turn down someone as adorable as Ortho right? He's just an adorable little kid after all. If you cooperate with him then things will go smoothly and he won't have to resort to more... unsavory methods of getting you to comply.

I used to love watching like hour-long YT documentaries but my attention-span has severely gone downhill since the panorama... but I enjoy Bernadette Banner's analyses of historical clothing, Implictly Pretentious' deepdives into the psyches of comicbook movie characters, and NativLang's video essays on various languages and their histories and characteristics.

I never had an imaginary friend as a child (excluding the man-thing that runs alongside the car). Although for a time (in my teens) I had a vampire that would sit by my bedside and protect me as I slept (NO, I was NOT a twilight fan! I was a Vampire Knight fan)

My go-to way to fall asleep is listening to redacted audio. Basically any playlist, any audio (excluding inversion, yandere!ivan)

I don't/hate my name. I just don't associate with it beyond it being what people call me irl. I would change it to either Teigan or Ruri (the former was a cute name I found (and have claimed it in my family should I ever adopt a child) and the latter being the Japanese for the stone lapis lazuli, which I like very much)

...If I was forced to pick only one redacted audio... it'd have to be... Comforted and Cared for By Your Incubus Boyfriend it hits ALL the feels and literally sounds like one big hug that goes straight to my heart.

And hatch her plan eventually she will confront you about your feelings and almost force them out of you at first she will act chill with you two hanging around all day in the barn maybe you’ll even become freinds with peri. But then things will start getting wired she starts becoming more pushy touchy peri just disappears one day she begins to become controlling and your friends start to go missing finally you confront her and demand an explanation all she will do is laugh in your face finally you’ve had enough and began to walk out the door before a chain made of water drags you back towards lapis and it’s time for your first punishment

Lapis, at first, didn't care for you in the slightest. She stayed secluded in the barn, away from everyone.

The only reason she even talked to you was when she saw you talking with Peridot, all shaky and fidgety.

She thought she was making you anxious so came down to get Peridot to go away which was easy since she didn't like her at this point.

Lapis was about to fly away again but you stopped her by touching her hand with yours...your soft, delicate, fragile hand...

You apologised about having to bother her and began calling yourself an idiot. She didn't know why she cared but she didn't like you insulting yourself.

She comforted you with words, saying it was OK, before flying back to the barn.

After that moment, she couldn't get you off her mind...you were all she thought about.

Over the next few days, she'll be watching you from afar. She'll be flying above you and seeing what you're up to on a day to day basis.

She'll end up talking to you much easier since you're a girl. She finds herself more familiar with girls since she has never really seen a man outside of Steven and all gems are girls.

Lapis notices the amount of coffee you drink and tries to get you to control it since it has a hand in your fidgeting.

She finds herself actually smiling and laughing with you around. It's a good feeling.

That's why she wants you to move into the barn with her. It means you can always be around to make her smile and tear up with laughter.

If you refuse, she'll be sad but accept. However, you better not be living with anyone already or she'll drown them.

She doesn't like seeing you anxious which is why she gets very clingy so she can comfort you whenever you start tweeking out.

Most of the gems understand it's a problem but they can't really do much. With the ocean a few yards away, she's clearly very very powerful.

Lapis doesn't see her behaviour as a problem. She just wants to protect you. Comfort you. Be with you. Is that so wrong?
