Siren Kokomi x fem reader (they/them)
“Another successful catch.” Kokomi spoke proudly as the ship crashed onto the rocky shores of Watatsumi Island. The men aboard were plunged into the heartless depths as the sirens of Watatsumi swarmed the sinking ship. Some ready for a meal, some ready to slip into the cracks of the ship to collect whatever treasures they transported. The flurry of tails and scales was illuminated only briefly in the moonlight, turning the sea into a stage of twinkling lights. As Kokomi stared on in pride, letting her subjects have the first bite as every good leader would, she heard a signal from inside. Her attention shifted from the seeds of a feeding frenzy that surrounded the boat and rooted into thd sight of her right hand, Gorou who was signaling from inside the ship. Kokomi wasn’t one to hesitate as she swam in. Blood started to dilute the water outside as her hungry subjects sunk their teeth into the delicacy of human flesh.
“This.. I’ve never seen a man like this.” Gorou said as he guided her to a air pocket. The water was relatively shallow as her eyes peered through the darkness, she could see a cage, and a figure, but it wasn’t right. The figure had the shapes of a siren but the legs of a man, she’d never seen such a thing. Her curiosity overridding her hunger, she got closer. The figure inside trembled.
“Stay back! Stay back! Oh god how did I find myself here…” the figure whined. Kokomi felt the mystery only rise within her. She needed to know more.
“Do not be afraid.” Kokomi peeked her head out. The ‘human’ inside did not seem to relax.
“Wait who is that! Where are you?”
“I’m right here.” Kokomi spoke as she circled them. “I will not hurt you. Please try not to struggle, I’m helping you.” Kokomi’s soothing and luring voice worked wonders. She could see as they relaxed. In that moment she grabbed the bars of the cage and tore it open as if it were only flesh. The human seemed startled but still under her spell, kokomi reached a hand out to them, her claws and scales going unseen as the human inside couldnt make out a single detail to her, only the vaguest of silhouettes.
“Please come with me. Youll have to hold your breathe. Do not let go of my hand.” Kokomi instructed, upon feeling the hand meet hers, she felt her curiosity only peaked. She had thought they had been a siren, she had heard tales of what man would do to a siren who they captured, forcing them through a ritual to become human and forcing them to be a bride. She had assumed such was a case. But their hands were soft, unscaled, but still dainty. The urgency took over as the human took a breath before being pulled into the waters. Gorou seemed confused as Kokomi pulled the human through the ship and to the surface but he was never one to question his leader’s plans. He was curious about this human too, there was a unseen precedent that this one would be spared until it no longer interested them so much.
The human did not infact make it to the surface without water entering their lungs. As they hunched over on the sands of the beach they hurled up water and coughed their lungs. After what must’ve been a long while of coughing, they finally stood up, trying to compose themselves as they looked towards the sea where their savior had been. Only to see… nothing.. “hello?” Their voice was met with no response. Had they just hallucinated it all? They couldn’t tell. But the night was cold, they’d need a fire. There were a few trees on the island, in fact it actually looked fairly large now that they stood on it. They’d look for their possibly aquatic angel later but they had to make sure they wouldn’t die of hypothermia first.
Kokomi savored the tasted of blood in her mouth as her people feasted on the remaining crew’s parts. Now that her most vulnerable members had a nice meal she would finish off the scraps. As her teeth dug through the hairy arm of a sailor she couldn’t help but wonder about that human. Humans were hairy and thick. Beastly creatures with beards and musk. Yet they smelled so delicate and their skin was smooth. They were like a siren but not. Yet somehow that didn’t deter her imagination. As she finished her meal she turned to her people. “This feast has been glorious, I have however one new result from this hunt, a strange mer-human! Their form is siren like, their skin is soft, i have moved this flesh onto the beach, please do not eat this person. If they are to be eaten then it should be by me.” She said with a friendly smile she was known for.
“Of course lady kokomi!” “A mer-human?” “Please let us see such a being?” “A man with no hair? Impossible!” The crowd murmured as she waved her hands to kill the chatter.
“No need, I’ll investigate them further. For now, i ask you bring some fish to feed them. It would be cruel to feed them their own kind.” Kokomi ordered. A few subjects immediately stepped forward, Gorou amongst their ranks. “Of course my lady! Our divine leader, we shall not disappoint!”
The human sat on the beach, they’d occasionally feel eyes on them as theyd look back out, only to see nothing. The island was remote, only a few fish eating birds and crabs. Nothing special. They were safe for now. Supposedly. A splash interrupted their thoughts as they turned to see the pearlescent scales on clawed web hands, the light salmon pink hair with blue tips at its edges, the purple fins ornamenting the sides of her face, the mermaid who saved them… they hadn’t been dreaming. Or were they still hallucinating?
“Human. I return with gift.” The mermaid said in a gentle serene voice that made them relax. A fish was plopped onto the sand. A rather large fish indeed. They look at it with awe.
“Ah thank you… you’re real.. right. I’m not dreaming.” They said awkwardly reaching out a hand to touch them but the mermaid recoiled in hesitation as they too backed off. “Sorry.. that was rude of me.”
“Please don’t do it again. I am wary of your folk, you may be mer- man but i do not trust you just yet.” She said more seriously. She adjusted her hair and flareed her fins. “I am Sangonomiya Kokomi, leader of the sirens of Watatsumi”
“Wait wait.. you think I’m a mer-what?” You blinked confused. “I- i am not a mer of any variety. Nor a man.”
“Not man… then what are you?” She asked.
“Well.. i am kind of a man, but i am a female.” They explained.
“I see… Humans look different depending on sex? Fascinating, i thought of your kind as ugly haired beasts, i didn’t know you could look different.” The siren purred.
“Well i guess i can see why. Sailors are usually men. In fact i tried to dress up as one so I could hitch a ride to Narakami but yeah that didn’t go well.”
“Why would you make yourself ugly?”
The human laughed at her remark. She didn’t understand their reaction but, it was enchanting, their voice felt like the song of love and lust. Although Kokomi had enough awareness to know she likely was projecting her own desires onto them. If this human had been a siren, they’d have a million or so suitors with endless gifts to swade them into being their mate and the mother of their spawn. Kokomi hadn’t had time to find a mate, the stress of ruling had even delayed her cycles for years, the people feared she could be sterile.
“I didn’t know you guys hated men that much. I can’t blame you though. But still, why do you have such a hatred for them?” The human asked. Kokomi paused as the memories came to her.
“Men.. they used to steal us. For brides, they’d force them to turn human to become wives for them. If we tried to return home, we’d be killed. My mother… she was one of them. She was already mated and still they stole her. Since then we hate men. We refuse them to be near, we crash their ships and eat their flesh!” Kokomi’s voice radiated with hostility and anger as she recalled the fates of many sirens. Both male and female were targeted solely because mankind felt entitled to the beauty in the sea, blinded by their own customs to see beyond their greed.
“Um.. did you just say you eat humans…”
“Yes.. i did.. but you are exception! You are special! Your are female and thus you have no stories of such acts! We never hear of human women committing acts of violence towards us. You look so similar to us, you didn’t for me yourself onto me, you respected me, and so I shall respect you. I will keep you safe.” Kokomi’s voice changed. But the vibe didn’t.
“I… i…” the human felt stunned as they realized they hadn’t dreamt one bit of this night. Their “comrades” had been feasted on by something in the water. Something ate them, and it was her people.. but also they knew antagonizing her was a foolish decision. There was no chance of escaping this island by themselves. They had to play along..
“I see… thank you. I promise I’ll repay the favor once i get back home.”
“Home?” Kokomi said. “Where is your home exactly.”
They stared off at the seas east. Thousands of miles away was the coast of their homeland, Liyue.
“Liyue. My home is far away.. if i can just get rescued.. then I’ll be home soon.” Kokomi felt something change, the thought of them leaving was… not a welcomed idea, but she couldn’t frighten them too much.
“I see.. well i will try my best to help.” A lie. “You my dear lady will have my utmost respect and honesty, I will ensure you are well fed. And if you want to stay then that’s welcomed too.” She said. The human laughed nervously.
“You’re a good host for a siren, but I really do want to get home. I live close to the seas there so you can visit!” A lie as well. That human would never set foot on sand once they got back to liyue. They were going to book it to Jueyun karst and live their life growing Jueyun chillis with cats. Anything to avoid the ocean.
“We’ll see…” the siren said.
As the night went on the human grew tired. With a fish in their belly and another for company, they yawned. Kokomi realized then she’d spent so much time, the pale pinks of dawn strobed across the clouds, cutting through the stars.
“Ah you must be tired. You should get some rest.” Kokomi suggested. They nodded tired.
“Yeah.. uh.. i guess I’ll bury myself in the sand for warmth tonight. Thanks for all your help by the way. You should go back to your people and do whatever fish politics you gotta do.” The human said waving her off. As Kokomi stood unmoving.
“I already excused myself, if they need my they’ll get me, I’ll watch over you.” She said. The human felt on edge at this. But didn’t want to provoke her.
“Alright..” they proceeded to dig out a nice ditch as they buried themselves somewhat. Using some of the sand from the fire, mixing it with the embers, burning their hands slightly as they placed it on themselves to shield then from the cold. Kokomi watched. Her eyes piercing the darkness.
They closed their eyes, but when sleep would come, it brought the visions of blood in the water, of flesh being torn, of her…
“You seem unable to sleep. Shall i sing you a song?”
“Uh.. sure..” the human preyed only that they wouldn’t become food for this siren, or worse, a pet.
The gods did not hear their prayers that night.

─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚.───
For Archons' sake, Gorou's a general.
Someone who has the respect of all that he swore to protect. He's the supposed "top-dog" soldier of Watatsumi Island. He built his reputation from the ground up, spent years upon years training himself to be the best soldier on the island. He's the number one supporter of Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Divine Priestess who entrusted him with leading her army safely through the throes of this terrible war. He's been told he was a humble leader, a man of sincere righteousness, a good person.
Internally, he knew that everyone had it all wrong about him.
They don't know that this man, this soldier, had become a disgusting degenerate of an animal.
Sick, sick thoughts filled his mind when the nights grew quiet and the bonfires outside had soon slowly burned out. The innate want — no, need — to breed, consistently grew stronger with each passing night; it was a genetic predisposition that he felt like he had been cursed with. If he thought about it for too long, he could feel himself harden and strain against the restraints of his garments. He'd get himself to the point where he'd slowly palm himself, his body growing warm and his breathing quickening, but he'd never finish. It was frustrating from the way he'd get oh so close but he just couldn't cum, no matter how much his cock was twitching or how much his tip was leaking out precum.
It was too shameful, too scandalous.
Gorou wasn't always like this. For the longest time, his urges had always been easy to control. His mind had always been focused on battle positioning plans and extreme training regimes, anything to get the upper hand against the Tenryou Commission. It was like everything in him was suddenly rewired the day you joined the ranks.
Usually it was not his place to oversee newcomers, the lower ranked captains were assigned for that position. However, Her Excellency wanted him to train this group of newbies this time around. She told him that it was the utmost emergency, resources and people were running low and she needed time to gather more support. Gorou would never refuse her request so he obeyed her command, preparing himself with speeches and strategies.
Very few people were willing to go up against the Shogunate and her powerful army; he was the one that had to inspire them and ensure that their minds were set for fighting for what was right. They had to fight, not only for the island but for the people who were currently being persecuted in the Inazuma mainland.
As he approached the training area while reading over the speech, he stopped dead in his tracks. A light scent, almost a sweet floral, lingered in the air. It was a complete contrast against the sweat and dirt so he followed after it, his eyes finally landing on you.
You were sparring with one of the other newbies, pinning him to the ground while laughing. You held your own well, the man was twice your size and there he laid in a dazed confusion. His tail fluffed up as he watched you get up and stretch, the disheveled training uniform pulling up and revealing the smooth skin of your stomach.
He felt himself swallow nervously as you noticed his presence, your body stiffening and going into the position of standing at attention. You were the only one to do so, the others scrambling to copy your actions as they finally realized he was watching them.
It was rare to see women in Watatsumi Island or in the village, much less so his age. Most of them either were dedicated shrine maidens, women who were already happily married, or the elderly taking care of their grandchildren while their parents worked outside of the island. To see you was quite a surprise, especially since the other trainees that surrounded you were all men. There was a small handful of resistance soldiers that were the opposite sex, all working alongside Her Excellency as her advisors.
Gorou had to regain his thoughts, trying to shake out your smell out of his head. He began to speak, slowly pacing back and forth as he recited the whole trainee speech in verbatim, finally turning towards them and saluting a dismissal. The crowd saluted in return, soon dispersing to carry out other assigned duties and he opened his communication box to send back a message to Kokomi when all of the sudden, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
It was the flower-smelling soldier, you. He tried not to stare at you while he was talking but your scent was so enticingly distracting, he couldn't help but take a few glances. You were even prettier up close, the particular aroma was even stronger as you stood in front of him.
"General Gorou sir." You saluted quickly, your posture unwavering. You positioned quite well for a starting soldier, color him impressed.
"At ease. Do you need anything—?" He didn't know your name yet, lightly trailing off. You seemed to catch on with his hesitancy, perking up immediately.
"L/N. Private Y/N L/N. And yes General sir, I would like to ask when will we be doing weapon and hand-to-hand combat training."
"In a few weeks. The skills that we will be teaching this week is all physical activity training. It's quite necessary. It would be pretty embarrassing running down the battlefield and falling just because your body can't hold up the armor." He heard you snort, your hands going over your mouth almost immediately. His face grew warm as he stared at you with wide eyes, your gaze casting itself to the ground.
"Sorry General sir, I couldn't help but laugh."
Gorou's tail started wagging, his hand immediately catching it before it could move any noticeably faster. With his other hand, he placed it on your shoulder and smiled.
"Please, you can just call me Gorou. I'm not fond of formalities when we aren't on the field." Your eyes lit up once more, that was the funny thing about newbies. They always look up to the more skilled seniors, especially if they were a high rank like him.
"Yes sir- Gorou." You corrected yourself quickly, causing him to chuckle. The two of you began to discuss, mostly small talk to fill up the time. It was supposed to be a professional conversation but the more he spoke with you, the more personal he wanted to be. The two of you were soon interrupted however, you were needed by one of the captains. He quickly dismissed you, not wanting for you to get any bad first impressions from his colleagues. He didn't realize that his tail had drooped down low when you disappeared from view, the fur flattened down completely.
As the weeks went by, you proved to be a diligent and hardworking soldier, carrying out tasks with no complaints. During his observations, you rarely had any struggle keeping up with the men, not that it mattered in the first place. You were more nimble than most during close combat and you did better with a polearm than a bow or sword. During those weeks of training, he was only observing you. He swore it wasn't stalking, God forbid.
It was innocent at first, what he thought about you. He liked you, he usually liked all of his subordinates but something felt different about you. Was it because you were the only woman in the ranks at the moment? He wasn't like this around Her Excellency nor her advisors, but that was completely out of respect. Didn't he respect you?
The realization hit him when he saw your hair down one night while making his rounds around the camp. You were returning from the bathhouse, most likely bathing after all the men so you could have the well-needed privacy.
You spotted him first, waving a hand from afar. He only noticed when the floral scent hit him, barely smelling the hint of soap along with it. He finally became aware of the fact that your hair was still damp, pooling down over your shoulders. The moonlight bore down on you, giving you a glow that was absolutely breathtaking and then you smiled.
You smiled and everything suddenly felt tight in his body, as if he was being restrained by his own skin.
Gorou was lucky that it was nighttime and he was a distance away. Any closer and you would have been able to see how red his face had gotten. He'd only seen your hair up, a military standard that must be followed for all who had a hair length that went past their shoulders, so to see you like this left him dumbfounded. He quickly waved back and jogged off to his housing early, feeling his heart beat hard in his chest as he shut the door harder than it needed to.
He went over to sit on his bed, doubling over as he clutched a fist over his chest. His body was warming up and it felt like he couldn't breathe, only able to take in quick, sharp inhales. His mind felt like it was all over the place but still was able to only focus on one thing: you.
It was unethical with what he was feeling. He could only remind himself that he is a general — a rank higher than most — and here he was, thinking about a private. You looked up to him, you were supposed to because he was your leader, your guidance in this kind of world. Yet the way you gazed at him with complete adoration and fascination, the way you cheered praises at him when he showed off during sparring, it was getting to him when it shouldn't. Others had done the same but when it came to you, he just couldn't have enough.
Gorou's body felt like it was on fire and he moved to lay down, wincing when he finally noticed that he was hard. This never happened, this never happens. Maybe he could just sleep it off. In the morning, all of this would be gone. These... feelings.
He couldn't relieve himself. If he touched himself and came, it would be considered a sin. He had no room in his plans to visit the shrine maidens and confess something so innocuous. What would he even say? Forgive me, for I have thought and climaxed to one of my lower subordinates inappropriately. He'd prefer getting incapacitated by General Kujou Sara than say anything relating or similar to that.
He sat up and carefully removed his clothes, shuddering as the chilled air touched his bare skin. The bandages that he wore in his lower half were still intact but there was a definite outline of where his stiffened cock was being restrained. Fuck.
Gorou hesitantly went to trace his fingers along the outline, barely putting any pressure against it before he sharply inhaled, looking over and seeing that he reached the tip. It felt good, the wrappings were thinner than he originally thought. Shame soon shadowed over him, his hand retracting to his side and clenching the once-neatly made sheets. He shouldn't be doing this at all. Not when the origin of this came from a subordinate, a subordinate he shouldn't be thinking of in the first place.
He laid back down and shut his eyes tight, ignoring the panging throbs that were tempted to be relieved. He wouldn't let this issue bother him, so long as he can endure it. If he started something he would regret, then may the fallen god Orobaxi strike him down mercilessly.
Days turned into weeks and then into months. No matter how much he slept it off, tossing and turning restlessly in his bed, he was never able to get you out of his mind. He tried to avoid you as well, attempting to limit the interactions to important business only but it seemed that luck had never been on his side to begin with.
It was you who was always initiating, asking if your form is right as you held up the polearm in a perfect defensive stance, making him come to you and press his body against yours to fix your positioning. It was you who was always questioning whether or not a planned attack was coming soon, eyes lighting up as he mentioned a hint of any sort of battle. It was always you. Even when he was trying to map out positions on where a possible vantage point could be in his housing, he'd hear you approach the door and question him about what was arranged for tomorrow.
Some days, he wouldn't let you in. Gorou would tell you that he's busy at the moment and like a good little soldier, you obeyed his request and began to speak behind the barrier. What you didn't know was that his hand was pressing against his bulge as you spoke, biting his lip as he tried to keep himself quiet. His high morals always bit at him, making it so he could never bring himself to finish, a painful shame bleeding into the depths of his soul.
Whenever he heard your voice, it was like something was injected into his veins every single time you spoke to him. Your smell was even worse for him, his tail curling whenever you passed by him. And those eyes, God those eyes. Staring at him like he was the light of your life, turning into little half moons whenever you smiled at him. Everything about you ignited something truly terrible within him and he was addicted, the feverish heat never truly going away as you finally left his doorstep.
Her Excellency was worried about his change of state, telling him that he can take a break if he needed one. She noticed the sweat pool and drip down his flushed out and dazed face, even when the weather was fair and he barely moved an inch besides the occasional shuffle of his legs and tail. He couldn't, he wouldn't, not when the war was still going on. What would she think if he confessed to her about what he was doing to the thought of one of her soldiers?
You were a compelling distraction. A small bump in the road, a large sinkhole that he was struggling to get out of, slipping in deeper with every miserable attempt. The constant arousal and burning heat had diverted his busy mentality, only focusing on how his cock was aching and stirring for any sort of release. It was to the point where he started missing out on his other job, papers and requests piling up on his desk until his incompetence began to not go unnoticed.
‘•.¸♡ ¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’
"My, my, my. I haven't smelled this kind of scent in years, no wonder my best writer has been slacking in his duties." A disappointed but amused tut had Gorou's tail bristling from the sound of a familiar voice, ears flicking and head turning towards the now-opened door. A decorative fan hid her face but he knew all too well who it was based on the red-colored shrine maiden outfit and the long muted pink hair.
"Lady Guuji! You're not supposed to be here on enemy lines." He got up from his desk and quickly closed the door behind her, nails digging into the wood as a pang of warmth ran through his body. Miko closed her fan and walked over to his desk, pushing and prodding papers around with it as she slightly clicked of her tongue. Shit, has he really been that distracted?
"Oh Gorou, as far as I know, the Grand Narukami Shrine sides with no one in this war. I just wanted to see why the aspiring Ms. Hina hasn't been sending over her column responses like usual, you know she's usually so punctual with her postings! But now, I can see — no — smell why." She sniffed the air once more, his cheeks growing redder by the second.
"It reeks of your rutting stench in here, would you be so kind and open up a window for me?"
He obeyed and barely cracked two of his windows open, his tail still puffed up with anxiety as she sighed with displeasure. "You can't just wait this out you silly little pup, you need a release in order for it to go away."
"Re... release?"
Miko blinked once then once more. As if she finally came to a realization, a smug smile grew, her purple eyes glowing with amusement. "Don't tell me this is your first rut, dear Gorou?"
Rut. He heard of it before, the desire to breed whoever his body had chosen as his sworn mate. His father had mentioned it long ago when he was a young teenager but he originally thought that he was excluded from the effects. Why did you have to pop up now, out of all times?
"I'm surprised that you haven't jumped on your beloved leader when it started, I must applaud you for the amount of self-control you have in yourself." Clapping her hands in false praise, he was tempted to snap back at his other boss for assuming that he would ever treat Her Excellency that way when a knock filled the room. Her attention was now at the front door, one of her ears twitching with interest.
"Afternoon Gorou! I have something I want to tell you, may I come in?" He wanted to tear his ears right out of his head, the same uncomfortable warmth bleeding through his skin like an infection. He could already feel the starting familiar stir within the confines of his bandages. He felt like screaming or crying, maybe even both.
Out of all times?! Miko made her way towards the door before he could realize it and nearly opened it, cracks of the outside sunlight peering through. His body collided with the heavy wooden door without him realizing how speedily he reached it, a startled and surprised cry coming out of the other side as he slammed it back shut. Fuck, you sounded so cute.
"Gorou? Are you alright?" You asked, concern lacing within your words and he chuckled internally, already imagining your eyebrows scrunching together.
"Y-yes, I'm fine! Sorry about that, I tripped on my... m-my rut— I mean my rug— yes, my r-rug." He winced afterwards, embarrassed of his unprofessional behavior. A stifled giggle was heard behind him and a low growl came out of him in return, blue eyes narrowed as he shot a look at the pink-haired kitsune.
"Um, okay. Is it fine for me to come in then?" He could feel his hard-on throb, the lack of touch and urge to be in something warm irritating him. Yet the Guuji was still in the room, waiting for him to be finished with this conversation, as much as he still wanted to talk to you. His forehead pressed against the door, eyes closed as he tried to imagine what you looked like behind there.
"No, sorry not today. I-I'm awfully busy, paperwork's been piling up." He was met with silence and then a soft sigh, the tip of his tail twitching.
"Oh. Okay, sorry to bother you again Gorou. I..." There was a light sound of shuffling and two turns, as if you had something else to say. "I'll — um — I'll ask you another day then. Good luck."
The sounds of dirt crushing under your boots slowly began to fade away and he finally let out a relieving sigh, laughter exploding behind him and suddenly all his nerves were on high once more.
"Hah! You haven't chosen the priestess, you chose a soldier. A nice smelling one at least. Why haven't you made your move huh? I'm losing precious Mora because of your interest in her." Miko teased, the sound of her sandals clicking on the floor as she moved around in the small space.
"First of all, I would be abusing my authority. I'd just be taking advantage of her and her respect towards me, God knows if she'd report me for being an absolute disgusting pervert." His fist clenched against the door, waiting for his body to calm down before he faced the fox yokai. Every little cell was begging for him to go and chase after you, to finally, finally claim you as his. A small voice of logic had still made its presence known however, whispering the futures of every consequence that could occur if he had chosen to follow his urges.
"Play your cards right then doggy, you have all the power and control compared to her. And it seems that your patience is waning thin." She ruffled through his bed and with the tips of her fingers, she carefully fished out a small piece of cloth from behind his pillow, a deep color of scarlet burning in his cheeks as he finally turned towards her.
It was an accident, he didn't mean to grab it when he was making his normal rounds. He wasn't supposed to be near the bathhouse but his thoughts were suddenly clouded with a searing appetite, one that he was unable to resist. He didn't even realize that he had grabbed the neatly folded white panty from the bench, his conscious suddenly clearing when the tip of his cock was messily spilling pre-cum all over it when he made it to his home.
Gorou snatched it from her and shoved it into his pocket, a furious snarl suddenly slipping through his bared teeth. He himself jumped at the sheer sound of it, putting another hand over his lips as Miko stared at him in shock before laughing once more.
"This is why I hired you, you keep surprising me general." She sighed pleasantly after, pretending to wipe a tear. She was extremely humored with his heinous actions, as if she didn't care at all that what he was doing was any short of shameful. Miko made her way finally out, her hand on the knob not before looking back at her underling.
"And Gorou?" He flinched, his shoulders tensed.
"Yes?"
"My advice is get rid of your rut, no matter what it takes. You don't want to hurt that little soldier, right? So get her in your bed before your instincts do."
‘•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’
Even if Miko had told him he should, Gorou couldn't bring himself to do it.
He had merely yielded, telling Her Excellency that he hadn't been feeling well recently and she agreed to let him sort himself through his "illness". She gave him some remedies and medicines, occasionally checking in on him when she wasn't busy planning. None of her treatments were working but she never gave up. News of him succumbing to a sudden sickness had spread through the ranks but their Divine Priestess had told them not to bother him while he was recovering, which he deeply appreciated.
He had locked himself in whenever she left, placing a chair against the knob to prevent any outsiders from entering and each of the windows were nailed shut. Even if he did open a window for a needed draft, he'd still be burning awfully hot. Plus, he didn't need the others to know why he was moaning and groaning in supposed pain. It sucked, everything about this sucked. Maybe if he had just a small taste of you, everything would go back to normal.
No. From the start, nothing about you was normal to him. Every time he thought about you, the heat would get worse and his already-sore dick would swell back to life. Were you thinking about him right now? Did you miss him? Gorou wasn't the type to get envious easily, but the rise of his rut enhanced those feelings to the max. He despised the image about you moving on to other soldiers, especially the higher ups. None of them were as kind and thoughtful as he was, clawing at his pillows at the idea of your sparkly eyes looking at someone else.
He couldn't do much to keep you away from those men, all he was able to do was finish up what he was behind with for Yae Miko and rest everything away, relieving what he can without a complete release. Would the ache go away if he finally did cum? Ugh, part of him wished she had explained this thing to him more but having your boss explain the birds and the bees for their kind would be horrifyingly embarrassing.
Nighttime rolled into the camp once more, his eyes shut in frustration and his hands restlessly grabbing and pushing around his sheets. He couldn't sleep, the pangs getting worse and his brain continuously fogging. If he went on a walk to try and clear his mind, he didn't trust himself not to walk into the sleeping quarters and not take you right there. So he decided to bathe instead, running cold water until it reached the right amount.
Since he wasn't on duty at the moment, there was no hassle in removing his garments, though he did keep the bandage wrappings on since somewhat helped control his urges. He carefully unraveled the cloth, shuddering as his already hardened cock sprung out of its restraints and lightly tapped against the skin beneath his belly button. Trying to ignore it, he stepped into the tub and sighed in relief as the water chilled his overheated body.
Only a few seconds passed by and he couldn't resist not looking. Observing himself, he felt strangely foreign seeing a swollen ball near the base of his dick as he bathed in the cool water of his tub. It was just as sensitive as the rest of him, exhaling a quiet whimper as his fingers brushed against it. As if something nefarious had suddenly grabbed ahold of him, his hand slowly wrapped around the shaft above the rounded flesh and began to stroke himself, the water rippling as he shivered from the feeling.
This was the first time he ever touched himself in this manner, his head arching against the rim as he tediously ran his thumb over the reddened, leaking tip. Despite the water, he could feel the smooth glide of the slick that was continuously leaking out of him. His canines gnawing at the side of his lips, eyes focused on the languid strokes. It was almost torturously slow pace, a building pressure forming at the pit of his lower abdomen.
This was bad, very bad. He needed to stop right now before he crossed a line into sin, an inescapable downturn into hell itself. But it felt so good, so so good.
Gorou panted, his mind forming the image that you were in the bath with him, that you were the one slowly stroking him off. He could feel the heat crawl up his chest to his cheeks, seeing your hooded gaze on him. Despite your training, your hands were always so soft compared to his callused hands. Was it because of the lotion that you used after bathing? God he missed your scent, the panty that he took was already losing your smell.
He let out a low groan as he thought about your flowery aroma and without thinking, he started to mutter your name. His hips bucked against his hand, the bulbous swelling preventing him from going further down to the base. With every rough movement, the water splashed out of the tub.
He imagined you teasing him, telling him that he's going to run the tub dry if he kept on moving so much. Still pretending that you were his hand, he began to pick up his pace, your name on his lips growing louder and louder. You called him a filthy general, asking him how he could think of you in such a way for a lowly soldier, simple cannon fodder. You then asked him why he decided to steal your used panty and he only could muster up a weak apology. He begged you not to tell the others, not to tell Her Excellency that he wanted you, that he thought of you for so long that it was poisoning him and his very soul. Gorou wanted you so badly but you were unobtainable, someone he could never touch. He loves his job, he really does but he loves you even more.
You finally kissed him, the faint traces of his ghastly imagination touching his lips. His pathetic chanting ceased as a blinding white painted his vision, his face contorting and crying out in agonizing pleasure. The waves of his sudden orgasm flowed through his veins as he gripped the side of the tub. He felt the material crack under his palm, bits of it crumbling onto his fingertips. His ears flattened against the side of his head and his tail had wrapped itself tightly around his leg, his breathing uneven and slow.
Gorou finally opened his eyes, his mouth still parted open in a quiet breathless pant as he looked down into the water. A white substance flowed around him, his red face contorting to mild disgust. Short feelings of drowsiness and a small sense of relief that the pain was gone ebbed throughout his body. He unwrapped his hand from his shaft, slightly twitching from the lost feeling.
In a slow realization, he then registered that the burning simply did not die out. No, it almost felt like it had gotten worse. The warmth crawled up his stomach and flushed around his face, the once-cold water now displeasingly lukewarm. He could imagine the sinking fangs of Orobaxi pierce his soul and label him as tainted, a sinner. A small part of him felt no regret, that this is what was meant to happen but most of him — if not all — had a sinking, devastated feeling. He shouldn't have done this, especially with you in mind.
There was a small knock on the door as he got out of the tub from his second bath, almost inaudible if he hadn't had these ears of his.
Weird. No one should be up around this hour, they would most certainly get in trouble if he catches them. He huffed, rolling his eyes. Pranking the sick general, are we? Gorou quickly wrapped himself up with a towel tightly around his waist, approaching the front door with light caution.
"Hello? State your name and purpose." He called out through the closed door, ears perked and twitching around for any signs of life. Maybe it was just a passing animal.
"Gorou? It's just me, Y/N. Are you okay?" Fuck. He's so utterly fucked.
"Uh y-yeah, why wouldn't I be? You shouldn't be out of the sleeping quarters, I won't be able to save you if you get caught." He tried to be as stern as possible but the growing mass underneath his towel was starting to make it difficult to think.
You softly laughed and he could imagine you shaking your head. "Don't worry, I'm sneakier than you think. And I wanted to check on you because I heard yelling coming from your direction. I... I got worried since you're still ill."
Gorou's heart was leaping out of joy. You were thinking about him? Of course you'd worry about him, it was part of your character wasn't it? He could feel his hands grasp at the chair holding the door, almost tempted to rip it out of the way.
"I know I'm not the best at medicinal assistance like Her Excellency but I want to help you. I feel bad not being able to do much besides train without your guidance." You quietly mentioned and his mind suddenly blanked, the heat crawling up his nerves and limbs.
"I do need your help actually."
"Y-you do? Well, I'll do anything to help you get better sir."
Anything, huh?
Gorou pulled the chair away from the door and opened the door, finally seeing you. The glow of his lantern-lit room highlighted your features, admiring seeing your hair down and your sleeping attire loose on your body. He couldn't be more grateful for your naïve willingness. His little idiotic soldier.
He grabbed your shoulder and tugged you into his home, almost slamming the door shut before you could have any change of mind. Your eyes widened as you soon realized that he was fully exposed, his towel barely covering his throbbing lower half. He let you drink in the scars and the muscles he's worked hard to achieve before he finally made a move.
"Wha—" Barely a sound was able to escape you before he collided his lips against yours, bodies toppling over into the wooden ground. In the haze of his lust, he felt terrible that you may have hit your head onto the ground but your mouth was so warm and your lips were so plush that all of his empathy was washed away.
His hands grabbed at the thin pajama pants the military provided for every soldier and ripped them off of you. He made quick work at removing his towel, his heavily aroused cock springing out and brushing against your covered cunt. He could see through hooded eyes that although you were most definitely confused, your fear could barely hide the arousal pooling behind your pupils.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He whispered frantically against your lips as he tore off the white panties, almost salivating as he felt his tip catch onto your bare warmth. A few ruts against your pussy lips and he could already feel some slick gather against his shaft, not knowing if you were getting aroused or that was just his own pre-cum leaking down and making a complete mess.
Slowly or at least, as slowly as he thought he was going, he pushed the head inside. A long and relieved whine came out of him and your back arched, body pressing against his as you cried out from the sudden intrusion. Swiftly, his mouth enveloped yours to quiet you down. It would be a shame if any other soldiers made their way to his home, but then again, he could make them disappear without a single trace left behind. Curiosity is such a fickle thing to have as a soldier, it could end them up dead in a nameless pit or in your instance, speared by a horny general.
His head threw back as he began to thrust shallowly in quick succession, the knot preventing him from going any deeper much to his displeasure. Gorou had never felt such an indulgence in his life, he thought his little session in the tub earlier was everything but this? He could live with the sins building upon his shoulders as long as he could relish in your warmth for eternity.
Your hands gripped on the rug above you, clawing and grasping at it for dear life, moaning aloud as his cock dragged against your walls. The blouse that you were wearing was slowly loosening with every sharp movement he made against you, revealing your chest that he could never bear to look at before. He peeled back the fabric and grabbed one of your breasts, squeezing once before leaning in and sucking on the pert nipple.
His tail twitched in bold satisfaction as you started to whine out his name, begging him to go deeper.
"Yeah? You want that soldier?" His voice rumbled against your nipple, feeling you clench around his shaft as he spoke.
"Y-yes! Please, please just a little more." Obeying, he snapped his hips harder against the plushness of your thighs, the knot pushing and budging against your tight hole. You hissed at the sudden realization of the circular muscle swollen around the bottom of his shaft, but you didn't try to stop him.
Would it fit? No, it had to fit. You will fit him. His hands grabbed your hips, pulling you in until you were flushed against his waist. His mouth left your chest, moving towards muscle in between your neck and shoulder. Gorou wasn't going to leave you unmarked, the whole goddamn camp was going to know who he knocked his pups into. It would serve some good to the island, Orobaxi would be pleased to have new followers right?
"Gonna fuck — hah — gonna fuck you up, breed you full of cum. You're my mate, mine." He growled into your ear before he bit down into your flesh. At the same time, he forced his knot into you and clawed the plushness of your hips.
Your pussy stretched and gripped around the enlarged knot, trying to accommodate the sudden thickness. He could barely see your eyes rolling to the back of your head as you came, your walls spasming and milking his cock for his hot cum. Wanton moans were the only noise you were able to make as he continued to fuck deeply into you, his tongue licking at the inflicted mark.
The same pressure in his lower stomach that he felt in the tub overrode his system and he pushed his dick in a little more, feeling the tip hit against a barrier. White stars blinded his vision immediately, his body shivering and shaking as he came hard into your womb. He took in heavy breaths, resting his head in the crook of your neck.
The burning was gone, he could finally feel the air in his room as it cooled down both of your bodies. It was gone but he wasn't done yet, no, he was far from it. Now that he had finally had a taste, he wasn't going to let you leave, not when he had bound himself to you. Figuratively and literally.
His pupils were blown out with pleasure, the blue color barely making its presence known as he began to kiss up your neck. You were barely there, eyes heavy with sleep but still groaning as he began to move once more, walls too sensitive to handle anymore. That's okay, he would breed you in your sleep if he had to.
" 'm gonna put more pups into you." His words slurred as he lazily thrusted, his knot pulling and pushing into a particular nerve bundle. You could only whine in agreement, completely engrossed and fucked out on his cock as you quivered from the stimulation.
Gorou will take real good care of you. What was he thinking before? A general always will need his soldier, what a fool he was for trying to believe that he never wanted you. A rope can only be tightened so much before it inevitably snaps. You belonged here in his home, warming his bed so he could take you whenever he returned from the battlefield. He picked his head up from your neck, kissing you deeply once more.
You were truly a heaven-sent blessing, weren't you? As fate may have it, he had hope that Orobaxi and Her Excellency would bless the both of you with a beautiful litter.

INFO & RULES - ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. asks/interactions are always welcome! i love talking to people, so don't be afraid to send a message :D that being said, do not send nsfw asks (i am still a minor), and please be polite. ii. please be patient! i have adhd and get burnt out easily, meaning requests can take me anywhere between hours and months. i will do my best to get it done in a timely manner, but i cannot guarantee anything. iii. don't offer unasked-for criticism, constructive or otherwise. i write for fun, and i don't care if you think it's helpful. unless i am explicitly asking for it, just don't. on that note, if you think my writing is terrible or ooc either scroll past or block me. any hateful messages or asks will be deleted. iv. please don't ask to be mutuals! i follow selectively, so it makes me feel kinda awkward. v. do not interact if you are: a minor who creates/interacts with NSFW content. under 13 or over 35. basic dni criteria. a mdni/fully nsfw blog. someone who does not respect boundaries. Hello there, and welcome! 😊
Link to masterlist
I'm a male alien INFJ (at least, I strongly suspect it) who descended in this mortal realm in the year of 1998. I have a little bit of writing experience, though I wouldn't call it a proper hobby...
After the idea floated around my mind for a while now, I decided to give a try to writing headcanons/short fics, specifically for Genshin Impact (with now a bit of Honkai Star Rail), with a particular focus on comfort/fluff.
I got inspired to do this after seeing how often I would turn to comfort or fluff content on tumblr, as a way to cope with the void of loneliness (sometimes overthinking too). As such, why not add my own contribution... as long as it can, hopefully, provide some relief to one person out there.
Asks are open (anon allowed) for requests and chatting (and DMs for chatting if you feel like it) 👀
Please read all the rules first though!
Universes I can write for
Genshin Impact
Honkai Star Rail
Characters I feel rather confident to write for
Genshin Impact
Kamisato Ayaka
Yae Miko
Fischl
Furina (before or after 4.2 archon quest)
Lumine (with or without Paimon)
Honkai Star Rail
Ruan Mei
Here below, characters I may possibly write for
I'm not as confident regarding them, so "ask at your own risks", I suppose. For those I didn't mention, I'm not against writing for them... Maybe, I can actually write them well, and I just don't know it yet 🙃
Genshin Impact
Zhongli
Neuvillette
Sangonomiya Kokomi
Nahida (strictly platonic and SFW, obviously)
Chiori
Navia
Albedo
Nilou
Charlotte
Yanfei
Amber
Wanderer
Beidou
Lisa
Arataki Itto
Clorinde
Keqing
Shenhe
Honkai Star Rail
Black Swan
Robin
Sparkle
March 7th
Tingyun
What I can write
reader X character (with reader by default as gender neutral for wider audience's sake, unless a request demands a different one)
mainly fluff and comfort (reader comforting, or being comforted by character)
I don't exclude mentions of hurt or angst as context for the above (unless a request specifically demands it), some conditions related to mental health (loneliness, overthinking and its consequences) aren't excluded either
platonic (not entirely confident with romance, see Miscellaneous below), eventually light romance, but nothing intense
headcanons, eventually fics (fics may be included in headcanons if I'm feeling inspired; no guarantees though)
What I would rather not write
Unless you're lucky and your request is within my abilities, just be aware though they're not my preferences (= you would be wise to ask someone who actually writes for those, instead of me)
smut/+18/NSFW/NSFL (not out of dislike/disgust/discomfort, but due to no experience in writing this kind of sensitive stuff)
intense romance & flirting (not really into romance, so, better to be safe than sorry...)
yandere (no experience in this)
genderswap (not really interested...)
character x character (check above, "intense romance & flirting")
Miscellaneous:
By default, the reader will be gender neutral and referred to as S/O (please specify in the request, if you wish for specific nicknames or other pronouns to be used!), I want my blog to be open to everyone 😊
Multiple requests are allowed
I aim to write characters in a realistic manner, meaning I will base myself upon canon actions & voice lines from them
I'm not familiar with everything regarding LGBT+ and the autism spectrum (I'm not against writing about them, it's just that it will be a bit more difficult, and will require some research on my side)
I may not accept every request I receive (I'm no professional writer; plus, everything is done for free, during my free time)
I plan to add a link to ambient music to listen to, for immersion's sake (it may be emotional on purpose, at times), ideally to open in a new tab, so it can keep playing in background as you scroll along
Please don't interact if you don't have a civilized behavior; that is to say, be respectful, no hate, etc...
Headcanons are called headcanons for a reason; it's fine if you don't agree with mine, but that doesn't allow you to consider yours as superior/the only one 😉
If you own a blog which has "men dni" (or "mutuals only" and we aren't)... then what are you still doing here? *vine boom sound effect* Just kidding, I don't mind you interacting (I'm not like other men, and it's not like I could choose my gender at birth anyway; arbitrary discrimination be damned), though be aware this would technically be hypocrisy... so you ought to use anon, for your own public image's sake 🤨
Take care and have a nice day/night 😊

#under the sea
general headcannons of cult!kokomi
warnings: yandere content, yandere cult stuff
Tumblr media
she's one of the few characters that's aware of you from the start. like zhongli's adepti, knowledge of your existence has been passed down from priestess to priestess via orobashi's records. there are stories of you etched in the basalt under the sea, and you can bet she's read every single one of them.
when she meets you, it's a pure moment of clarity for kokomi. the once murky waters of the world have become as crystal clear as water can be. she finally understands all the scriptures she's read, how your presence gives way to calm waters in a rather perilous ocean, how you're able to purify one's mind, soul, and body. orobashi truly wasn't wrong in his teachings of your being.
kokomi is so flustered when you acknowledge her, tilting your head and saying how pretty she looks. she'll insist that you're surely much more beautiful than her, but she'll thank you nonetheless for your kindness.
she's one of the more wholesome worshippers, opting for more pacifistic methods instead of the absolute punishment that most of your followers choose. kokomi is extremely kind, but that doesn't mean that she won't protect you as much as she can. she'll first try to render he foes incapacitated, but she'll only kill if worse comes to shove.
koko doesn't want to scare you by doing something immoral, nor does she want to displease you by doing something so horrific like harming someone. she wants to keep the good image you have of her as a mainly docile acolyte.
in exchange for having a generally gentle personality, she's extremely overprotective over you. her overprotectiveness almost rivals zhongli's due to how intense it is. you're not allowed to leave the shrine nor talk to anyone that she's not personally involved with while you stay there. don't worry though, kokomi will keep you entertained if you feel bored!
kokomi will showcase how she fights, making a performance from her elegance and grace. she'll summon her small fishes to play harmless little tricks on you like tickling you or booping your nose with them. if you feel particularly disinterested though, she might have gorou and those from the kamisato's accompany you through inazuma city.
while also staying at the island, she has you wear something of similar colors to her outfit, so everyone knows you're an important guess of sangonomiya shrine. if you don't want to, then at least wear their emblem to keep you safe. kokomi will gently nag you like a mother if she sees you without it because it helps ensure your safety against the countless dangers around the island.
she's not very into giving gifts, and she prefers acts of service and quality time, but on a few occasions, she'll gift you something that has sango pearls. perhaps it's a ring, a necklace, earrings, or whatever you can think of.
"is it to your liking, master?" kokomi presents you with a beautiful necklace. a small oyster pendant dangles from it, and you can spot the lock that signifies there's something else inside. you smile at her, giving her your thanks before she asks if you want her to put it on for you.
her little fishes keep you company while she's behind you, busy fiddling to ensure her gift stays firmly on your neck. once she gets the clasp together, she pulls away to marvel at the way you hold the pendant in your hands.
"can i open it?" you ask her. she nods in response.
click! you hear the lock opening, and the sight that greets you leaves you mesmerized. inside the oyster was a lovely sango pearl, it's small but it's nothing like the ones you've seen before. it shines with its own light almost, twinkling brightly as you inspect it closely. you smooth your thumb over its glossy surface with ease. it feels like water underneath your fingers.
"my master. this pearl that i offer you is the embodiment of my loyalty and devotion. it may be small, may not be as grand as what others have given you, but this is my vow to give my entire being to you and you alone. come what may, i will always stand by your side."

“I’m afraid I’ll have to leave you alone again, later on.”
Her voice was as sweet and as light as it always was. You could barely feel her fingertips skirting gingerly over your bare stomach, then your chest, pausing briefly to press short, shallow circles into the sensitive space where your diaphragm met your midriff. You opened your mouth, ready to curse her out, but anything you might’ve said was drowned out by a sharp gasp, drawn out of the base of your throat by another sharp thrust, another peck to the side of your throat. She giggled, her laugh like windchimes, like fresh sakura blooms. Like nails scraping against glass, or teeth gnashing against dry bone.
“There’s a celebratory feast tonight, to commemorate the start of this year’s harvest. I’d normally opt not to attend, but it’s being held at the shrine and I'll be expected to bless the soil, if not the seeds and farmers’ tools as well.” She paused, leaning down to kiss the corner of your jaw. “It’s such a shame. I know how lonely you can get while I’m gone, and I hate the thought of not being able to give my precious princess everything she wants.”
You drove your nails into your palms, forced yourself to go as stiff as you were able to. “Go fuck your—”
Immediately, another tendril forced itself past your lips, lodging its bulbed tip behind your teeth and against your tongue. You glowered, glared, but Kokomi only sighed and shook her head. As effected by your anger as she was by anything else – which was to was, not at all.
“Please don’t use that kind of language. It’s not fitting, and there are so many better things to do with a voice as pretty as yours.”
You felt her arm snake around her waist, caught her fingers curling over the catalyst suspended in the corner of your vision, and the tendril that’d been idly pumping into your cunt grew longer, thicker, part of the base separating from the translucent mass and shifting, moving, flattening itself into something more tongue-like, something better fit to lap at your neglected clit and send sharp, hot sparks of pleasure shooting to your core. This seemed to be her favorite way to use her Vision, her hydro manifestations – to get you laid out between her open legs, your wrists bound in front of you and your back slotted against her chest, and see how she could make you twist and writhe, experiment until she found what made you whimper and moan and scream. You could only be thankful that she was busy, today, that she didn’t have time just to sit back and see what she could do to you. She’d go on for hours, sometimes, until you were panting and sobbing, until you were willing to beg her to stop. She liked your desperation, liked seeing you at your breaking point. She liked knowing she was the one who’d pushed you there.
“That’s it, now. Just try to relax.” You didn’t. If anything, you only grew tenser, only made more of an effort to kick and thrash and stop her from getting what she wanted, even if you knew trying to stop her in any meaningful way was a futile pursuit. In response, two more tendrils appeared from nothingness and wrapped around your legs, binding your calves to your thighs and keeping you spread open, exposed, helpless. Still, you tried to struggle, but you only earned a soft coo, a small smile. “You should enjoy this. You would, if you stopped being so stubborn and let me take care of you.”
You tried to yell, but the tendril thrusting into your cunt sped up and all you could manage was a sharp whine of protest, an elbow pushed weakly in the vague direction of her chest. Kokomi didn’t flinch, didn’t budge; she just took you by the chin, tilting your head to the side and pressing her mouth gently against your as her tendril coiled and ground into you and brought you so, so close to—
And stopped, completely. You whimpered through your grit teeth, and Kokomi pulled away, already grinning, already chuckled. “Oh, did you want something?”
You refused to answer. Kokomi laughed, genuinely, this time, blatantly, this time, and with a flick of her wrist, the tendril began to move again, taking up its former pace. The only trace of mercy you could find was in her touch, the feeling of her fingers fanning over your stomach, of her lips on the shell of your ear as she went on.
“If that’s the case, I’ll just have to keep going until you do. Anything to make my princess happy.”

Kokomi Sangonomiya
publicado originalmente no wattpad, em minha conta, TracyyyYo.
Tumblr media
Começou a me bater e eu sou a errada?" Ela perguntaria irritada. "Estou apenas tentando te proteger e eu sou a errada aqui?"

yandere shikanoin heizou x shrine maiden!reader
wc: 1.3k+
cw: general yandere themes, some not sfw implications if you squint.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sir Shikanoin visits too often.
A thought that was passed behind the other shrine maidens' sleeves, in hushed but made for certain people to hear voices. Her excellency, Sangonomiya Kokomi had agreed with what used to be but local gossip at one point, too. The Detective's recurring visits might've not been so strange if this had taken place even a year prior ; when the borders of Inazuma were still open for trading ships and foreigners—or, when Sangonomiya was still yet to announce rebellion.
Perhaps, it might've not been as suspicious if the Doushin's visits were simply to admire the views of said island, which would be far more understandable (but still weird) logical even so, to the locals of Watatsumi. You could've also continued with your plain life watching waves gently touch the pastel shorelines as if it were a teenager too shy to approach their adored, resorting to stolen glances and sheepish, fleeting encounters.
You wouldn't have paid any mind to the floating words around Watatsumi at present. You wouldn't have had to suppress a scowl as the detective passed by in all his bubbly and unbothered glory or have had to be subjected to the unwanted spotlight when he (much to your dismay) turned around and waved at you with the energy of a gorilla. But you knew better. The Doushin's repeated visits shouldn't have earned this much attention, too. You wished so greatly that you could ignore it, ignore everything like you know he was as well. But you can't, you can't console yourself or the locals with ruses anymore when it seemed like Shikanoin Heizou's appearances were repeated solely for you.
You could've continued your training as a shrine maiden uninterrupted, hand not shaking at the fraction when lighting up the incense every morning, as another whisper is exchanged behind your back. You might've not had to worry at all when strolling in the streets, ignoring the judging eyes that drilled your form from all sides.
You might've not loathed the Doushin as much either if he hadn't been so hell bent on bothering you from day one, if he left you alone to your afternoon poetry reading. Things could've escalated differently if he'd decided to ‘sight see’ at another time than in the middle of a civil war and after the sun had melted in the horizon.
But as with many things in life, not everything goes your way.
You couldn't blame the locals or your fellow shrine maidens. It was only natural for them to find the Tenryou Commission detective's behaviors questionable. They were normal people thinking, well, normally. Who wouldn't find a detective of all people loitering about the island stationing the resistance and simply doing nothing but interacting with just a shrine maiden instead of, oh, they don't know, investigating a crime scene? Hell, him coming here to spy on the resistance would've been far more rational than whatever this was. But after some careful watching, the Divine Priestess herself had concluded that he had shown no signs of such intentions.
So then, what other option do they have left but put the other person in question? This, you understood very well. But merely understanding never eased anything for you. How would it when you were being accused of treason in your own hometown, by the people who you grew up watching all your life? Your fellow shrine maidens' favourite pastime was now talking behind your back, the bookstore from which you'd purchased so much was hesitant to even let you in and all the people who'd asked for countless favours were reduced to a mere silent audience (were you that untrustworthy?). And so, you now had no one to blame and hate other than Heizou himself.
Your gut tells you he has some sinister intention and a part of you believes it, too. But when her excellency had personally called you for an audience and asked if his advances harboured any malicious intentions, you had abruptly stopped.
True, the detective would always pester you for a conversation or to sing him a song and even though your intuition screamed that he had ulterior motives—you couldn't speak up. What would you tell her anyway? Even Lady Kokomi knew that the Doushin had yet to spy on or sabotage the resistance or even take any action regarding that at all. He never even asked anything regarding it to you ; no matter how hard you tried to think of something, anything your mind would only remind you of that plaguing smile.
Ah, no wonder you had nothing to refute the gossips, the whispers and her excellency's sincerest queries with. Because you were guilty, too. It takes two to start a quarrel after all. Your dread increases further once you remember not pushing him away when he leaned in a little too close. Truthfully, the air of Watatsumi would not have carried any whispers if you hadn't unknowingly indulged him either, if you had rejected his requests for a song or if you bit your tongue from laughing at his stupid jests.
You, along with everyone had been too late to realize the game the Doushin had been playing all this time—huh, it's as if you'd forgotten the very vital fact that he was, after all, a shrewd detective whose mind did not function all that different from a master criminal. That was the last thing that came crashing down on your confused mind before Lady Kokomi's pitiful blue gaze was all you could reckon.
The waves this night hit the coral shores with a force you'd not seen from all your years in this island. Since when did the sea get so bold? Or was it the wild winds that had given it that courage? Although you knew that it wasn't advisable to be by the shores at the quiet of the night, that mattered little before this nightmare.
What was to be afraid of now, the raging waters that seemed so ready to devour you, that lulled you to give up? Or the unruly winds that nudged you to give in, encouraged you to listen to the sea? Had it been the eery moonlight that made even the overlapping shadows visible? You knew you should've just headed straight to your quarters, locked and jammed the entrance with heavy furnitures and wrapped yourself in a blanket til this nightmare ended. You should've begged the Divine Priestess to protect you, to maybe send you somewhere far, far away where you'd be safe from the hands that now rested atop your shoulders in what you could feel was more of a mocking embrace and the face that was so close to your own.
“Yet you didn't do anything.”
You close your eyes, in hopes that the next time you opened them, it wouldn't be that cheeky, haughty smile you'd see first of all. But the symphony of the waves and winds altogether continued to echo in your mind, drowning out the painful revelation ; why did it all suddenly feel so welcoming?
A chuckle. One you know too well threw aside the fleeting peace you'd found and you feel something soft, like skin resting against your cheek. You still don't open your eyes.
Click.
From an outsider's perspective, this view would've been so ordinary ; just a serene scene of waves touching the shorelines and the moon spectating a moment shared between a detective and a shrine maiden—if not for your wrists that were bounded in a handcuff.
Perhaps, giving into the sea's advances and following the winds' guidance might not be so bad now—and maybe that's why you didn't shrug off his embrace, as mocking or prideful as you can sense it growing. You open your eyes just in time to see the waves subduing, the winds being reduced to mere breeze as if your submission to him were all they wanted.
How pitiful.

Guess who took Kokomi's voiceline about him and ran with it lol goodluck to every one who's pulling for the detective boi! Heizou wanters will be Heizou havers<3

I automatically make the reader gender neutral unless you specifiy otherwise!
I tend to write more general things now for TBHK rather than reader inserts, but I'll still accept requests for X Readers if you wish.
I’ve seen up to Chapter 5 with TWST, along with about half of Chapter 6, so try not to send requests that include spoilers for anything beyond that! It'd be greatly appreciated ^^
For FE3H, I don't write for the Church of Seiros (except for Flayn). I like them all but I just don't enjoy writing for them as much qwq
I’ve watched all of Arcane but I haven’t played League of Legends so if there’s something that I should know about, please let me know!
For any requests involving the fluff alphabet I have, I'll allow a maximum of 5 letters and 5 characters per request. Just remember that the more letters and characters there are, the longer it'll take me to finish.
Regarding suggestive requests, anyone under 16 will not be allowed to have suggestive requests. It just makes me uncomfortable. (Suggestive meaning no full blown NSFW but some mild spice.)

yandere!gorou x (gender neutral) reader x yandere!sangonomiya kokomi cw: yandere, unhealthy behaviors/relationship, obsession, murder/death, minor descriptions of blood/gore, brief violence [chills & thrills]
i. intrusive thoughts.
It’s not love. There is no such thing on the battlefield. No matter how soft the sand may be or how gentle the waves may caress the fallen, you simply can’t ignore the grit and blood that has tainted what was once a peaceful landscape. He thinks of these things when he’s given moments of blissful solitude, wherein his thoughts are boisterously troublesome and provide him with distracting visuals. A smiling face, a flower crown made with haste and strung together with blossoms of all colors and genera, and a melodic laugh that is impossible to forget. When his mind is compromised with these visions, he forces himself to remember the objective at hand.
Sound logic and proper strategy are what lead to victory on the grounds in which fierce battles rage. Therefore it can’t be love.
“You’re late.” His voice is uncharacteristically harsh, an undesirable side effect from the conflicting thoughts going to war within his head, and he cringes internally when your shoulders rise with tension. He clears his throat, smooths out the invisible wrinkles in his uniform, and adopts a much softer tone. “Her Excellency does not tolerate tardiness, but I’ll overlook it this once. Just...please refrain from making it a habit.”
“Of course, sir.” You release a quick breath and the rigidity in your posture lessens. “My apologies. I was held up near the shoreline, so I couldn’t get here at the time we agreed upon. A few suspicious individuals were lurking around and I dealt with them swiftly.”
“Suspicious individuals...” He gazes off into the distance. His ears are raised, listening for the sounds of activity in the distance that might alert him to any eavesdroppers. “How many?”
“Just four, sir. Treasure Hoarders. It seems they’ve memorized our supply routes and were looking to stock up on anything valuable we might be importing. But I don’t think they’ll bother us again.”
“Hm. Even if that’s the case, we can’t be too trusting. I’ll inform Her Excellency about this. In the meantime, we’ll have to stop using that specific area when receiving supplies.” He turns to address you now, a gentle smile on his face. “You’ve done well. Thank you.”
You accept the praise with a humble nod. “I’m just doing my duty. If I remember correctly, you said you wanted to see me?”
The breath sticks in his throat when you circle back to the issue at hand. His heart hardens and he averts his eyes for a split second. If he had a solid answer for you, he surely would have told you by now. But Gorou wasn’t thinking when he had one of the soldiers pass the message along that you were to meet with him later that evening. While everyone was off celebrating a minor victory against the Shogunate forces, he expected you to appear under the glorious moonlight for a reason he can’t quite figure out.
“Yes. About that...”
His brow furrows and it occurs to him at that moment that he didn’t have any reason to call you out here to some desolate hilltop overlooking the sparkling sea and distant villages. What’s a plausible scapegoat to excuse his failure to think of a reason? A discussion about battle supplies? Tallying up the injured and deceased? Does he even want to talk about the war? Why is that the only conversation topic that keeps the two of you connected? Your chuckle drags him out of his inner monologue and he stares at you with wide eyes. You have such a nice laugh. He’s never told you that, but he wants to. And if he stares for any longer he just might.
“Sir?”
“Just Gorou will do.” It slips out before he can stop himself and all of his muscles jolt in embarrassment. “W-When it’s in an informal setting like this, I don’t mind if you drop the formalities,” he adds with a relieved breath.
For a moment you eye him curiously and then a tiny grin plays at the corners of your lips. “If you just wanted to talk, Gorou, you could have said so. Fortunately, I have a good reason to see you.” You produce something from your pocket and hold it out to him. “For you. I made it during my patrol shift—I mean, when I had time to spare—and I wanted to give it to you as a gift.”
Gorou observes the item lying in your palm. It’s a necklace made from shells and Sango pearls, all strung together in a lovely pattern of pastel colors. His heart trips over itself and color rises to his cheeks when he takes it from you.
“It’s... Ahem. It’s very nice. T-Thank you...”
Seeing your general in such a flustered state is something you never thought you’d have the pleasure of witnessing, and you relish in his reaction. It reminds you of the first time you happened upon him. You were merely a fortune teller who made a living selling shiny lies to the general public and, after having been chased out of your village by an angry swarm of people, you found yourself drawn to the city. There were all sorts of promises glimmering in the distance: new jobs, new people, a fresh start. You thought you’d settle there, get a job that paid well, and finally leave your old habits behind. But all habits are difficult to bury and yours came back with a vengeance, snuffing the little voice of truthful reason in your head and feeding you with ideas.
You found your people and they accepted you once you could prove yourself worthy of their time and attention. And then you were given your first assignment.
Your meeting was purely chance. Had Gorou not taken the path bordering the shore, he never would have seen you fighting a group of samurai. It looked like a losing battle and you were holding on to your diminishing strength with desperation. He jumped in without another thought and the two of you defeated the samurai at once. After the haze of the fight had cleared from your mind, you dropped to your knees and thanked him over and over. He was struck with an embarrassment so apparent that he couldn’t form a coherent sentence. Bowing before him as if he were a generous god who spared you of a brutal fate—it was too much for him.
And even after he brought you to a campsite so that you could rest, you insisted on thanking him. That was when he received the first gift: a beautiful flower crown and an insightful look into what his fortune might behold.
You tune into reality just as Gorou dons the necklace. Under the glow of the moon, you can see the bright blush sprouting on his face and the genuine surprise outlining his expression. Unlike flowers, this gift of yours will not wilt.
“You don’t have to do anything in return. Being here with you is enough.”
"I... Well, if you say so... It’s just—” He shakes his head and the words die on his tongue. His tail is wagging energetically and you gaze at him in amusement. As soon as he catches your staring, the fast whoosh-whooshing of his tail ceases. “I appreciate your thoughtfulness. This sort of gift... I’ll wear it with pride.” He beams at you, fingers clutching the pearls. “I’ll never take it off.”
If anything, he should be the one bowing before you. Such an idea startles him. His loyalty lies with Her Excellency, after all. Although perhaps this is a different form of loyalty. Perhaps his loyalty to you is more than swearing to aid in the cause—more than a promise to risk his life on the frontlines. It’s something special and fluffy. It makes his heart beat faster than it normally does. It makes him feel like he’s sleeping on clouds. It makes the harsh realities of warfare fade away into obscurity until all that remains are the sounds and images of you. Only you. Always you.
Forever you.
“It suits you,” you agree and he wishes the war would come to a steady conclusion, if only so he won’t fret over mortality whenever soldiers are sent to fight and you just manage to overcome strong opponents. “I’m glad you like it.”
"Why do you fight, (Name)?”
You take a moment to think of an answer to his spontaneous question. “Why do I fight? I guess it’s because I don’t have anything to lose. I was chased out of my village, so I can’t go back even if I wanted to. I have nothing and no one to protect. I only have myself. That’s not worth anything, though, so I want to join the fight. I want to feel like my life hasn’t been entirely worthless.”
“But it’s not! You—”
You’re worth so much. You deserve so much.
“Besides, I’ll gladly put my life on the line if I’m able to help lots of people. If I didn’t want to fight, I wouldn’t have met you or any of the other soldiers. I’m happy that I joined the Resistance. It feels more like home than my old home did.” Awkwardly, you scratch at a nonexistent itch on your arm. “That probably doesn’t make any sense, but it’s how I feel. Anyways, I should probably get back to the others before they start to worry or worse.”
“Or worse?”
“You know. Since it’s the two of us and we met at this secluded location... Not like that would actually happen.” You laugh and shake your head. “Forget it. I’ll see you tomorrow. Sweet dreams, General.”
You turn away from him and he watches you depart, arm outstretched as if he intends to grab hold of the air. The buzz seems to die entirely as soon as you’re gone from his sight, having disappeared behind a rocky wall, and he’s left to stand there and think. And it’s a moment like this one that he’s reminded of his predicament. The necklace is warm against his throat, each pearl kissing his skin so softly. He wants to feel your lips there. He wants to pull you into his chest the next time you try to leave. He wants to lock you in his embrace so that he can spend just a few more precious seconds with you.
Maybe it is love, for he fears he’s been pierced by Cupid’s efficient arrow.
ii. fear of rejection.
Not now, Gorou—three words that have become his daily routine. He seeks your presence like an addict in need of another fix and each time he’s denied a meaningful conversation with you. Just the sight of you is enough to put his worries at ease. When it feels like strategy meetings stretch on into infinity and he’s unable to catch even a moment of peace, he wishes desperately to see you. Perhaps such a need reduces him to nothing more than a puppy in love—a puppy who hangs onto your existence as if you might grace him with a fraction of your time. It’s wrong to chase after you in this way; it complicates his autonomy and casts a heavy fog over his rationality. Your influence on him is harrowing; he can’t concentrate when all he can picture is you.
He hasn’t exactly been subtle about his attempts to get close to you, and it has given you quite the reputation amongst your fellow soldiers.
You slash at the training dummy with frustration. What you really need is a round of sparring to clear your head and rid yourself of the irritation that’s been grinding you down all morning. A stick snaps behind you and you whirl around, wooden sword pointed at his throat. He blinks at it, unfazed.
“My apologies, General. I didn’t realize you would be here today.” You lower the weapon and he gives you a forgiving smile in return. “Has something happened?”
“No, I just wanted to pay you a visit.” There’s a plate of onigiri in his hands and he offers it to you. “I thought you might be hungry. The soldiers told me you’ve been training all morning.”
“I...have, yes. But I’m not hungry. I don’t need any—“
Your stomach lets out an unflattering growl, betraying your initial objection, and you submit without another word. You and Gorou choose to sit in the shade away from the training area under a large lavender melon tree. Verdant leaves sprout from the boughs and the purple fruits in question hang from it. As you take a bite out of the triangle-shaped rice ball, you wonder if Gorou would bring you fresh lavender melon all the way from Narukami Island should you ask. It’s a silly thought, but you can’t help pondering the lengths he might go to just to spend his free time with you.
You pity him and his unwavering loyalty.
“Is it good?”
“It’s delicious. Thank you.”
“I’m glad.” He lets out a quiet sigh. After what’s felt like years, he hasn’t heard those dreadful words. Not now, Gorou. Only this time it’s different because you’ve been kind enough to accept his offering. “I made them myself.”
You notice the necklace tucked safely under the collar of his uniform, the pearls just barely peeking out, and you wonder whether or not it was a good idea to gift it to him in the first place. “Are you sure cooking isn’t your true calling?” you joke as you lick your fingers. “But it’s fine either way. A general who makes good onigiri, is always looking out for his fellow comrades, and is nice enough to pardon me when I’m late—all perfect qualities.”
“Is that so?” He seems to perk up at your words, tail swishing back and forth when he registers it’s a compliment. He grabs a rice ball for himself, if only to give his hands something to do, and focuses on its flavor in an effort to ignore the happiness that blooms in his chest. “I’m glad you think so highly of me.”
“But don’t you ever get tired? It must be tough being a general. Do you take breaks?”
Do you even spend a day by yourself? A day where you’re not searching for me?
“Unfortunately, with the way the war is going right now a break is the last thing on my mind.”
Funny. You seem to have all the time in the world right now, you want to say, but you think better of it when you notice the exhaustion concealed within his features.
“Prioritize your health more, Gorou. We can’t have you getting sick on us.”
"I could say the same for you. You’ll hurt yourself if you train so fiercely without a break. If you’d like, we can—”
“Ah. Not now. Sorry, Gorou.” There are those dreadful words. “I actually promised to meet up with some of the soldiers for a run. Plus, you’re probably really busy. I don’t want to take up your time more than I already have.”
You snatch another onigiri from the plate and, with your sword tucked under your arm, head off in the other direction before he can stop you. He sits there with his heart wrapped up in prickly thorns, each individual spike poking the gooey muscle until all of his emotions have emptied out in a pulpy soup. Gorou traces a shapeless design into the grass as he reflects on the brief conversation. It’s better than nothing, he reasons, but that optimism isn’t enough to rekindle his hopes. Have you always been so...unapproachable? What did he do wrong? Before, when he had met with you under the moon’s glimmering luminescence and you had given him that handcrafted necklace, all seemed well. Now it feels like you can’t stand to be near him.
Like you find him annoying and undesirable.
A frown tugs at his lips. The worst part is that you always sound so sincere when you tell him you can’t spend any time with him and he’s inclined to believe you because you’ve always been so genuine.
It still stings all the same. You continue to pour salt on his wounds when you slip through his fingers like an eel intent on hiding. It’s not so much the unfairness of it all that bothers him; it’s the fact that he can’t figure out why. Why do you continue to reject him after all that he’s done—after all of the time he’s set aside for you? It’s not your fault—this he knows well—and it’s wrong to place all of the blame on you when you clearly have no knowledge of his true feelings.
Later that day, when Gorou stops a few soldiers and asks of your whereabouts, they can’t give him a proper answer because none of them know. Because you never met up with any of them for an afternoon run.
The next time he catches you is a few days later, during dinner. He had come back to Watatsumi to meet with Her Excellency and a few others to discuss their next moves in stocking up on supplies, manpower, and anything else that might aid in their fight against the Shogun’s Army. He passes through the camp you’re stationed at just as dinner’s being served. Briefly his eyes scan the group huddled near the fire. You’re sitting among them, a miserable look on your usual bright face. His gait slows until he’s standing in the shadows, a mere spectator to the show that’s laid out before him.
One of your comrades wraps an arm around you, a playful smirk adorning his features. “Speaking of mutts,” he’s saying, “where’s your beloved General Gorou? He’s usually around here, isn’t he? I bet he’d come if you called for him. Why don’t you try it?”
You swat at him, obviously in no mood for his games. “It’s not like that. All of you know that.” You shovel as much rice as your chopsticks can hold into your mouth and add, with a full mouth, “I don’t think the great Gorou would enjoy hearing you speak of him in such a way.”
"Hm. But I don’t think that’s true. That thing he’s always wearing—you made it for him, right?”
“And what if I did?”
“Trying to curry favor with the general, eh?” another one of the soldiers interjects. “Whatever it is you’re doing, it’s working. All he ever seems to focus on is you. Hardly spares us a glance when he visits.”
“Could it be puppy love? Go on. Why don’t you bark for us, (Name)?”
“I think it’s the other way around!”
You glare at the lot of them, furious, humiliated tears welling up in your eyes. “I was just being nice! Can’t I do something nice for our general? He does so much for us—”
They howl at you like a pack of rowdy dogs and you stand up abruptly, no longer able to bear the weight of their bothersome remarks. As you head for your lodging, nearly fuming at the insinuation that you might be in love with Gorou and that he might feel the same way, you meet his electrifying stare. Your blood freezes and he flinches once he realizes you’ve noticed him. Your brow furrows into a dark glower and you give him the coldest shoulder you’ve ever given anyone before.
Gorou doesn’t have to speak to you to know what it is you want to say.
Not know, Gorou.
Not now and perhaps not ever. It’s not just the harsh rejection that sends a tidal wave of heartache crashing down upon him. It’s the fact that you’re deliberately avoiding him now, going out of your way to put as much distance between you and him as humanly possible.
Somehow the necklace around his throat is tighter than it was before—a collar meant to keep him on a short leash.
iii. hope.
Her Excellency stops him before he can file out of the meeting with the rest of the group. He bows his head in acknowledgement, all traces of exhaustion vanishing from his face. The previous night sticks in his mind like a dark bruise, and he does his best to move it to the back of his brain so that he can focus on Kokomi’s orders.
“Gorou, there’s something I’d like to speak to you about.”
“If it’s about the supply route—“
“No, not that. I trust that you’ve dealt with the matter.” When he confirms her assumptions with a curt nod, she smiles and proceeds in her explanation. “As I’m sure you know, the Resistance has been in dire need of more supplies and manpower. Unfortunately, we haven’t had much luck in importing goods. Just a few days ago we suffered a great loss when all of the crates that were meant to be carrying new materials washed ashore, empty and waterlogged. Someone has been tampering with our routes and ships.”
“Could it be the Treasure Hoarders? (Name) did mention they’ve been unrelenting in their thievery...”
“I suspected that at first, but surely the Treasure Hoarders wouldn’t stick their noses in territory they’re unfamiliar with.” She taps her chin in rumination. “Has (Name) ever shown you proof of the Treasure Hoarders’ interference? Perhaps a badge from one of them or even a body? Anything that might confirm the truth in those claims.”
Gorou thinks back on that fateful night and turns up empty. “Not that I can recall, no.”
“It is just as I thought...” Kokomi murmurs. “Gorou, I have a mission for you. Will you be able to handle it?”
“Of course. I’ll gladly take on any task you ask of me.”
“Good. Then I’ll leave this up to you. I have my suspicions, but I’d like a little more evidence before I move forward in my judgement.”
He cocks his head to the side, not quite following where she might be going with this.
“I’d like you to keep an eye on (Name) and the supply routes in the following days. Let (Name) know that we’re expecting a shipment of goods by the end of this week at this specific location.” She points to an area on the map that’s pinned to the table. “I’d like you to report any odd behaviors to me.”
“Odd behaviors... Has (Name) done something wrong? I can handle it if it’s burdening you.”
“Nothing yet.” There’s a strange glint in Kokomi’s eyes when she says that, as if she foresees something happening in the future. He can’t even formulate a guess when you’re the subject of her suspicions. Anxiety explodes within his chest like tiny, potent firecrackers. “I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. Either way, I hope I can count on you to follow through with this investigation.”
“Yes... Of course. But—“
“I’m afraid I have other matters to attend to now. You’re excused.” She turns away, hair swishing with the movement, and focuses her attention on the map.
Gorou stares at Kokomi for a taut moment, half expecting her to come clean and admit her reasons for giving him the role of watchdog. When she makes no indication of doing so, he bids her farewell and leaves. The afternoon sunshine hits him head-on, bright, blinding, and warm. He squints through the light, raising a hand up to shadow his visage, and scans the view that’s spread out before him. Purples and blues and pinks, all in pastel shades, assault his vision, and though the scenery is normally so vibrant and beautiful he can’t help but feel cold all over.
There’s nothing wrong. That’s what he thoroughly believes and it’s what he intends to prove. You’re just a good-natured soldier. You’re just you. That’s why he’s so certain of the fact that you’d never do any of whatever it is Kokomi thinks you’re doing. And he hates to think this way because it feels like he’s doubting Kokomi’s intelligence, but her judgement can’t be right. Not this time, at least.
And when he has two soldiers pass a message along—something about how he wishes to speak with you about the supply routes—and you come to him with your feet dragging he’s immediately put at ease. You’re not a villain. You’re not doing anything wrong.
“General Gorou.” He winces at the tone you use, one that’s filled with stern boredom. Get on with it, you seem to say. “If this is a ploy to get me to—“
“It’s not that,” he interrupts smoothly. “I have orders from Her Excellency. You’re to guard the new supply route as we make preparations to receive the imported goods.”
He relays the information Kokomi told him. The supply route is on the other side of the beach, a generous distance from the one that was compromised, and your irritation slithers away while you listen. Now you look contemplative, gaze faraway and blank. He’s not sure what that look means, but he hopes it’s a good sign. A sign that you’re simply devoted to the cause and are eager to fulfill an order.
“That’s it?” you ask after he’s finished filling you in on what it is you must do and at what times you’re to do it.
He nods, ears flicking as a breeze rustles between the two of you. “That’s it.”
You chew on your lip, eyes flitting from the trees to the ground to him. He’s trapped in your gaze, falling through an endless, abyssal tunnel of color, and his heart is seized with fondness. “About last night. You probably heard what the others were saying and I’m sorry. I was just upset and then I saw you... To be honest, I don’t know why I’ve been treating you like this. I’m just...conflicted.”
“Conflicted?”
“It’s hard to explain, but I think I know where I stand.”
He wonders if it’s the rushing waterfalls or the cawing birds that foster his uneasiness, or perhaps he just doesn’t want to hear your next words.
“Where you stand,” he repeats numbly, unable to process the meaning.
“I like you, Gorou. That’s where I stand,” you say and it’s the only thing he chooses to hear. All of the surrounding noises fade away into the background until they’re nonexistent, and he stares at you with wide eyes. The biggest, most relieved smile sprouts on his lips once it sinks in and his tail wags impossibly fast. “And I’d like to apologize for how I’ve been treating you.”
“That’s okay!” He clears his throat, shakes his head, and takes on a more professional role. “I mean, it’s fine. It’s water under the bridge.”
I like you, too. So much. More than you’ll ever know. Words he has yet to utter aloud, but they reverberate in his heart. There’s hope. There’s time to prove Kokomi wrong. You’re just you. It’s all you’ve ever been.
And it’s all he wishes you were.
The night is unnaturally humid. Gorou stays confined to the shadows, expertly maneuvering through the darkness like a soundless ghost. As stifling as the temperature outside is, it keeps him grounded—reminds him of what’s at stake. And he has plenty to lose, even if it doesn’t feel like it. If Kokomi’s judgement is correct and there is more to you than meets the eye—if his hopes are misplaced—he’ll lose you. Traitors are not tolerated in the Resistance. There is no room for such parasites, especially not when war is constantly tipping in favor of either side. Though lately the Shogun’s forces have remained elite. The Resistance can’t win.
Not with that attitude, he thinks. Just as he shakes that thought from his brain, the sound of movement draws his attention. He waits behind a tree, heart pounding and hopes rising, until the person’s footsteps grow fainter and fainter. And then he emerges and sets off on their trail, canine senses acutely picking up sounds that no normal human could. It’s one person with a familiar scent. It’s a smell he’d recognize in a crowd of hundreds of people because it’s undeniably yours.
And that’s when the first seed of doubt starts to sprout.
You’re just going for a midnight stroll. That’s all this is. You woke up, found that you couldn’t go back to sleep, and so you’re going to walk until you tire yourself out. Everyone does that every now and then. Even he is guilty of evening walks. But your walk is much further than he intended it would be and you keep to the darkness as you move silently, hiding from the light of dying campfires and huts that have yet to turn in for the night. He keeps up his pursuit, which has him following you all the way to the location he told you about.
No one’s meant to patrol that area because it doesn’t exist as a supply route. And it hurt to lie to you, but it’s what must be done. For the greater good. For Her Excellency. For peace to remain unbothered.
The picture has already been painted, but he refuses to acknowledge it. Not until he sees the three samurai step out of the dark and into the moonlight, wearing uniforms and armor with the Shogun’s symbol on it. Gorou’s breath sticks in his throat—not due to fear but due to...some emotion he can’t quite place. All he knows is that it hurts. His heart is flimsy with a strange sort of grief. It’s as though a hole has just opened in the ground and is dragging him down into the unknown. He watches, concealed within a bush, as you make conversation with the samurai, and it becomes all the more apparent.
You’re a traitor.
You’ve never been on the side of the Resistance. You were with the Shogun’s Army all along.
These simple facts hit him in the face like stones, each more painful than the last. He forces himself to eavesdrop on your conversation. He forces himself to ignore his feelings. He forces himself to remain in that bush lest he jump out, bow raised and ready to loose arrows until they pierce the hearts of those foul samurai. It’s not your fault. It can’t be. You didn’t mean to be a spy. Perhaps it wasn’t your choice to begin with. Perhaps you were tricked or threatened. Perhaps you were—
“The General? What about him?” He tunes back in, though he really wishes he hadn’t. “He’s not my problem anymore. I did what I had to and got all of the information I could. Surely this is enough for now. You must understand that this sort of business takes time and effort, especially with the lovesick kind. I can’t rush these things.”
Lovesick. Lovesick. He’s not lovesick.
He’ll show you what lovesick is.
He emerges from his hiding place and looses an arrow so fast that you hardly have time to react. His aim is deliberate; it will kill. The arrow finds its target swiftly, impaling one of the samurai in the throat. A gruesome death, yes, but he reckons you’re used to this. Anyone who has ever fought should be used to it. In any case, it doesn’t matter. With one man down and you scrambling to save what’s left of his life, the other two samurai turn on him, their weapons raised defensively in front of them. He makes quick work of them and by the time he’s loosed his final arrow both of them lie at his feet, fatally wounded. He turns his attention on you and his expression must be distraught because you flinch away.
“I...”
I trusted you.
“Gorou, this isn’t—“ You shake your head and rise to your feet, hands bloody from trying to stop the flow of your fallen comrade’s injury. It looks more like you just ripped his heart out, toyed with it like a cat, and then crushed it between your hands. “This isn’t what it looks like. I was just getting some fresh air and these guys... I mean, they were with the Shogun! S-So you saved me. Thank you for—“
“You’ve betrayed Her Excellency’s trust.”
You’ve betrayed my trust.
“I’m sorry. It won’t happen again!” You wear a convincing smile, but he sees through it. He sees the lie. It hurts. “You can overlook this mistake, right? I never meant for this to happen...”
“You...” He inhales sharply. “You should return to your campsite. It’s late.”
“Of course! Right away, sir!”
Gorou watches you scurry away like a frightened mouse when it spots a hungry feline. He’s left with a dozen truths that are impossible to swallow and three bodies scattered in the sand, one of which is still clinging to the strands of life. Kokomi was right. Your loyalty lies with the enemy. You’re going to be punished severely for your deceit. There’s nothing he can do to save you, unless he wishes to jeopardize his position and fall alongside you. Her Excellency is not fond of those who poison the Resistance with mistrust and hatred, nor will she tolerate a soldier whose lies benefitted the enemy. His fingertips trace one of the pearls on the necklace as he weighs his options, each more hopeless than the last.
And under the moon’s all-seeing glow, the curtain of limerence parts to reveal another cruel truth.
You never liked him at all.
iv. loneliness.
Gorou wishes you would have fled. Everything would have been so much easier if you’d taken the opportunity to run as far away from Watatsumi Island as possible. At the very least it would make his job a lot easier. He could simply feign looking for you until he was certain you were somewhere safe. Unfortunately, you chose to stay, and when the first few rays of morning sunshine color the world in their light you’re pulled from sleep. Literally.
He observes all of it as it happens: the rough hands that drag you out of your lodging, fingers digging into your arms to prevent you from escaping. You’re thrashing and crying out, yelling something about a mistake. About how they have the wrong person and that this is a big misunderstanding. Your eyes, so fear-filled and regretful, reach Gorou’s tired ones and it takes all of his willpower to look away.
“Gorou! Hey, Gorou, this is—you have to stop them! I didn’t do anything wrong! I didn’t do anything!”
“Take them to Her Excellency,” he mutters to the soldiers who hold you as if you’re a rabid animal. “She wishes to speak with them.”
Gorou reaches for the necklace and then pauses. He lowers his arm. Despite the fact that your cries fall on deaf ears, they still manage to reach what’s left of his shattered heart.
And he’s left to pick up the fragments all by himself.
“So you’re the (Name) who’s stolen Gorou’s precious heart.” Kokomi’s smile is disarming enough, but there’s an underlying sharpness to it that unnerves you. “I don’t believe we’ve formally met.”
“Your Excellency, I’m so—“
“There will be a time for punishment and repentance later. For now I’d simply like to talk. That’s all right with you, isn’t it?” She gazes at the two men who hold you in place. “If you would be so kind as to give us a moment…”
They nod and release you before backing out of the room.
“I should warn you that if you try anything, be it an escape or an assault, you’ll have to face the consequences that come with it.” Kokomi gestures for you to sit in the seat across from her and you oblige, albeit hesitantly. Her calm countenance is a stark contrast to the obvious threat in her words. “I’ve heard that bamboo grows very fast and can pierce through nearly anything that’s unable to withstand it.”
“What did you want to talk about?”
She taps a fingernail against the tabletop, as if pondering where to start. “Gorou had so many lovely things to say about you. He’s very fond of you, if you haven’t already noticed.”
“I noticed.”
“If that’s the case, why have you treated him so poorly? He was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt to the very end. Such blind devotion... Well, we all have our reasons for things. I won’t pry.”
You study her with intense scrutiny. She doesn’t look angry, but it’s hard to tell when she wears such a soothing smile—like a skillful predator luring an unknowing prey in with placative half-truths.
“I’ll accept any punishment, so please don’t drag this out.”
“Very well.” She slides a small book in your direction. When she gestures for you to take it, you pick it up and begin to skim through the pages. “I’ve compiled a list of various responses and actions suitable enough for this kind of mishap. It turned out to be more than I expected, considering you’re a very...interesting spy. I’m willing to let you choose your next move.”
“I’m not sure I understand,” you mutter, though it can’t be any clearer. She’s giving you a chance. “My next move? I already said I’d accept punishment.”
“Why not take a look at number 215? I think you’ll find it’s far more desirable than torture or execution.”
You turn to the page with the numbered solution and it occurs to you that she thought of each and every one of these solutions all by herself. One for every possible scenario, most of which you hadn’t even considered, and yet Kokomi penned all of it down like an expert scribe. You review the solution she pointed out and frown.
“This is...”
Kokomi nods encouragingly. “Become a spy for the Resistance. We could use someone like you on our side.”
You set the book down, no longer interested in reading all of what she’s written. It’s frightening that she’s thought this far ahead and you can’t help but wonder just how much she knows.
“You could use anyone as your spy. Why choose me? Who’s to say I won’t betray your trust again?”
"That’s definitely a possibility. If you flip towards the end, I’ve written down every possible solution should you betray us again. However beneficial betrayal may sound, you don’t have any reason for it. The enemy can’t possibly accept you after your cover’s been blown. In other words, they have no use for you now.”
“But you do?”
She nods. “I’m sure you know more about the inner workings of the Shogun’s Army than we do. You’ll tell me everything you know, won’t you?”
You’re quiet for a taut minute. With a sigh, you ask, “Is this meant to be my punishment?”
“If you think that way, it will be that way. I have no intention of using violence against you, so be at ease. I only require your cooperation.”
It’s not a bad deal. Obviously not ideal, but what else can you do? She’s right. If you stop contacting your superiors, they’ll know something went wrong and you’ll have no choice but to side with her. The Shogun’s Army will not welcome you back.
“Why not consider it a favor instead?” she offers and you raise a brow. “I let you compromise our supply routes. I let Gorou have his fun with you. I let the both of you distract one another. Now it’s time you do something for me in return.”
Your heart nearly stops. “You... You knew this whole time?”
“Precisely. Although my intuition isn’t anything special. This sort of behavior is to be expected during war. I’d be surprised if we didn’t have a few traitors in our midst. And you wouldn’t be just any spy. You would be my spy. Surely that sounds fair?”
What else can you do? It’s the only opportunity at your fingertips, easily accessible and far from the cruelty of torturous death.
“All right. I accept.”
You can work around this. There’s always a way out of undesirable situations, and if there isn’t you’ll make one. But maybe Kokomi’s already planned ahead for that.
“Wonderful. I’m happy to officially have you on our side. And seeing as you’re now one of us, I’ll remind you of one crucial fact.”
You sit in silence, anxiously waiting for her to deliver the final, verbal blow.
“The Resistance never betrays its own.”

~●Request Box Closed●~
come in, Have a cup of tea and a nice read.~
Tumblr media
●Hi again. It has been a while, I can only say life has kind of caught me in a loop but I'm back and Ready to continue my hobby of making fics once more.
《Some Pointers》:
I am a Sfw/Nsfw Blog, 18+ or older are allowed so minors beware!
This is an X Reader insert
I do small fictions, head cannons and Drabbles, any big fan fiction series will be written elsewhere.
Tumblr media
•●Rules before Request●•
This is an x reader insert blog, anything to do with character x Character is completely out of the question for me unless it has to do with a poly relations with Said reader. Shipping has never been my thing and will continuously not be.
Reader will out of be gender neutral/Female. Writing for male readers have never been my strong suit and I best not make assumptions or lazily write how I think a man acts since I don't know how they do act in fictional situations.
No Oc or Oc insert, with doing oc it would be a long process of knowing every detail of the oc as well as their personality and then trying to insert it into the story. For Me that a bit of a Hassel to do and would take up to much time to do so I prefer to leave this out for now.
I do take sub or Dom readers, both are fine by me as long as you don't request anything to extreme. I will also let you know if the request is something to uncomfortable to write.
You can request up to 3-5characters or 1 dorms per ask. I wish to keep each ask nice an detailed as possible so I would like to only have a small amount to write for that way i can take time on each one without taking to long on it or half-ass writing it.
I will only write in 2nd person. 3rd or 1st person is a no go for me.
Dark topics are okay, I don't mind writing for them as long as you don't not request anything extremely serious or straight uncomfortable for others or myself.
I can and will delete ask that I straight up refuse to do, I have the will to do so especially it is something I don't agree with or not wanted on my blog. So be be aware of what you request.
Yandere ask are also fine. But be known that I may write them In the way I know them or prefer writing them.
I do take time to write my fictions so will take time for me to post. Since I have a life outside of my blog I will post and get request done when I have my free time, any spamming I will block on-site.
I only ask that each person send a max of 2 ask. As much as I love request everyone deserves a chance to put in a request, any more than 2 ask from the same person will be deleted and ignored.
Minors are out or the question.(unless characters of age 16+ i can count as a romantic interest but nothing more) Unless asking for platonic fic, you might as well not request anything from this blog cause I will not do it.
I do not go by cannon all the time, if I want to ignore cannon rules I will.

BASICS —
❀ i do not take requests, only thirsts. (what's the difference?)

✿ jujutsu kaisen — choso, kento nanami, satoru gojo, sukuna, toji fushiguro.
✿ spy x family — loid forger, yor forger.
❀ i mostly write for whomever i'm most interested in at the moment, but will accept thirsts for all of the mentioned characters.
❀ i do not write for minors / aged up versions of characters.
❀ i only write sub fem readers.

❀ kinks that i do not write:
✿ scat, non-con, dubcon, incest, ddlg, yandere content, virgin ! character, necro and snuff, gore and woundfucking, male reader, dom reader, blood, pool and bath sex.

DO NOT INTERACT —
❀ if you are a minor or do not have your age on your blog (i.e. in a pinned post, title, or bio. "18+" is not an age.)
❀ if you are ableist, homophobic, transphobic, racist, etc. (basic dni criteria).
❀ if you reblog chain messages.
❀ if you're a minor who writes smut, or interact with minors who write smut.
❀ if you are here for any drama or to send hateful messages.
Tumblr media
BEFORE YOU FOLLOW —
❀ please use tone indicators as i struggle to ascertain meaning and intent.
❀ my inbox is always open for chatting, whether that be questions, responses, or even just to say hi! however, please refrain from discussing triggering topics (i.e. suicide, self harm, abuse, etc.) and trauma dumping. do not ask me about character x character ships and please do not ask to be mutuals.
❀ i may take some time to reply to asks and dms.

Note
Out of the genshin cult god au who is more likely to go swimming with you (if you asked) or who are you most likely to have the most fun with if you went swimming with them?
[Who’s most likely to go swimming with you?]
warnings: yandere content, yandere cult stuff
event is now closed!
Tumblr media
kokomi feels right at home in the water. that is why she'll never miss out on your offer to go swimming, though please excuse her for the time being. she'll need to do her duties to free up time and detail a few more rules for her absence. if you want to cut back her stress, just swim at watatsumi island, and she'll be able to keep you safe while doing her work as a priestess. she loves splashing and moving under the water, pulling you along with her as she shows you the wonders of the sea she calls home.
"my, my," she laughs as if there was no care in the world. it leaves butterflies and bubbles in its wake, and you wonder among the two of you which one is the god. baby hair sticks to the sides of her face as she pulls you a bit further into the water. "don't be scared. i'm here., your grace"
