Addicted (Movie)

Genre: Thriller

Addicted is a fun movie and even has a American remake called Obsession, which I will also discuss to a certain point within this recommendation. It's originally a Korean movie so Cherry and I watched it with subtitles and it's just a fun ride, since in theory we don't know if the brother is a yandere until the very end.

The story starts with Ho-jun being picked up by her husband Eun-soo from work in the rain. We find out that they are also living together with Dae-jun, Eun-soo's twin brother who is more of the bad boy than his brother and likes racing. The two of them get into separate car accident at the same time (with Eun-soo getting hit by a bus and Dae-jun having an accident while racing) which leads to both of them in comas. After a certain amount of time, Dae-jun wakes up from his coma, and seemingly has been possessed by Eun-soo. Ho-jun is seemingly confused by this, as Dae-jun starts to act very similarly to Eun-soo, doing various tasks and having memories that he has. At the hospital, Ho-jun is informed by the doctors that they'll have to pull the plug on Eun-jun as he seemingly will never be able to recover, which leads to a conversation between Eun-jun and Ho-jun about a memory that only she and Eun-soo had experienced. Believing that Eun-soo is really occupying his brother's body, the two of them have sex. Ho-jun finds a necklace that was given to her by Eun-soo, and slowly discovers that Dae-jun is lying to her. We find out that Dae-jun had basically been stalking Ho-jun even before his brother met her, having taken pictures and even written letters to her that he never sent, finally confirming that he was pretending to be his brother just so that he can be with Ho-jun. Pregnant with Dae-jun's child, she has no choice but to accept him as Dae-jun continues to pretend to be his brother, both knowing that what they have is a lie.

Possession's plot more or less follows the same plot as Addiction though with a slightly more hopeful ending, and also an alternative ending that follows the ending of Addiction more. For this I'll mostly just detail major differences. Jessica is Ho-jun, Ryan is Eun-soo and Roman is Dae-jun. Roman is shown more as a bad boy as he does seem to have flings with other people before the accident. Roman and Ryan are not twins in this version and Ryan and Jess have a dog. The two of them get into a coma because Roman was driving fast on the road and Ryan was chasing after him in his car to get him to stop, only to have the two get into a car accident.

In the original ending, Jess finds out that Roman has been lying to her about being possessed by Ryan which leads to Jess stabbing and killing Roman. She still has Roman's child, however, and Ryan is still alive, with the ending more falling into supernatural means as one of their spirits helps to put on her wedding necklace.

In the alternative ending, Jess finds out that Roman is lying to her, but the two of them end up accepting it and having to live with this secret, much like in the original.

While both versions are good, I have to say that I like Addiction's movie better than Possession. I think besides that it's the original, I like how it gives better insight into how Dae-jun fell in love with Ho-jun in the first place as well as the more bittersweet ending of the two having to live in their lies, for better or worse. Possession's alternative ending does this as well, but it misses the reason about why Roman fell for Jess in the first place. Still, I do think there are parts of Possession that are done better than Addiction, such as the car accident scene, since it gives Roman a bit more manipulation vibes as he could have instigated the chase so he could get into the car accident and "become" his brother. Also having a dog is always nice.

One of the things I did like about Addiction was just the fact that you are lead to believe that Dae-jun is possessed by his brother given the fact that he starts to act like him and has memories of him and Ho-jun only for that to be a result of stalking and obsession. It's a good way to show just how manipulative that Dae-jun can be, even going so far as to trick Ho-jun. It's a good example of a replacement yandere when they end up replacing the person that their lover cares about only to become them in the end. The tragedy of the two having to live with this secret forever, with Dae-jun having to basically pretend to be his brother for his entire life is rather sad in retrospect, devoting everything to keep this lie floating. Dae-jun as a yandere is both a stalkerish type, as he has basically been watching Ho-jun even before she met his brother, manipulative as he does trick Ho-jun into believing that he is her husband and of course a replacement yandere, as he literally replaces his brother by acting and even dressing the same way as him. Possession gives a bit more a supernatural twist on it with it's ending, but the premise is around the same, and it's rather frightening to think that Dae-jun was so successfully able to trick Ho-jun into believing he was her husband.

Overall though, a good movie and a good remake. I feel like you don't really need to watch both movies since they have relatively the same plot just adapted for a slightly different audience (though you can argue the ending of Possession is at least a bit more hopeful), but I think at least watching one of them will give you a nice and entertaining yandere.

Thoughts that went into this concept:

Ye-jun is loud due to The Idol's terror radius being 2/10 (being one of the three killers having the biggest terror radius) which makes it easier for survivors to notice him so I thought it'd make sense that he'd be loud so that killers would notice him as a survivor.

Ye-jun's a looper since he has the highest base speed of 6.5 as The Idol.

I made him have high repair and low healing because

a) A lot of loopers have high healing stats so I wanted him to be different

b) Dae-jung has high healing and I felt that if I made Ye-jun have high healing, he'd be too similar to Dae considering that Dae also has good looping stats.

Since The Idol's ability as killer is to detect others, even if they're undetectable, I thought that I would turn it onto its head and he would try to make another teammate undetectable as survivor.

And the perk also relates to his lore in two different ways. I will not elaborate on how since that'd lead to spoilers.

I had trouble deciding whether to make the undetectability percentage 70% or 80% so I went with 75% as a compensation.

The whole Dae-jung and Ye-jun forbidden relationship is actually based on the fact that Korean idols can't actually date irl. (Which I think could be the reason why Ye-jun never confessed his feelings in his real lore. He clearly doesn't care if his feelings are rejected since he doesn't care that Dae-jung walked in on him murdering Byung-ho and Han-gyeol so it's not a fear of rejection. But if he never confessed since he didn't want to be possibly separated from Dae, that'd make sense.)

Survivor Ye-jun feels disdain for Yeona (this is more clear on the updated post) because she's a reminder of the sasaeng who spied on him and Dae on their date night which led to them getting trapped in the mist. He doesn't hate the other survivors who are fans of STAR*STRUCK, though.

Each voiceline has relevance to Ye-jun in some way.

“Call me a dancer.” - This makes sense if you read his memories, particularly his last one.

"5, 6, 7 and 8!” - This is the count dancers use when trying to step to the beat and create rhythm

“I wonder how Dae is doing…” - I don't need to explain this one, do I?

“Run!” - Based on his stacks.

“You never know who is looking.” - Based on how on Dae-jung and Ye-jun's date night got exposed despite the both of them believing no one was watching

“Can't find them, now can you?” - Based on his perk

Bonus fun fact:

The entire reason I made this character was because I love the STAR*STRUCK lore but however, if you frequent my account, you can see that I loathe yanderes. But despite this, I couldn't find myself to hate Ye-jun because despite having ALL the qualities that should make me hate him, his story isn't romanticised. And the problem I often have with stories with yanderes is that, most of the time, the yandere's actions are seen as romantic and something you should long for. That makes my blood boil because it isn't. But because Ye-jun isn't romanticised in the lore, I didn't and couldn't hate him.

So the knowledge that Dae-jung and Ye-jun both liked each other at one point and the fact that I didn't hate Ye-jun, my heart began to starting to think about shipping them. And I started to internally panic. This was against my morals. Granted, I was thinking about if Ye-jun just didn't murder Byung-ho and Han-gyeol and Dae and Ye-jun got together. But however, Ye-jun was still an obsessive maniac. He was not good for Dae-jung, I cannot ship them together.

So I went:

Ye-jun Im as a Survivor

Title: The Protector

Perk: Concealment

Ye-jun can click on another survivor’s icon to make them Concealed. When a survivor is Concealed, it will raise their undetectability to 75%. Whenever the Concealed survivor avoids detection, Ye-jun gains a stack which gives him an extra 20 points of stamina. Ye-jun has a max of 5 stacks at a time and loses the stack once the stamina is used up but can regain it.

However, if the Concealed survivor does get detected, the detection stays for the Concealed survivor 30 seconds longer than usual. This ability can only be used on one survivor and cannot be transferred if the survivor dies and the perk disappears once Ye-jun dies.

Backstory:

Ye-jun grew up in a well-off family that provided him with everything he could have ever needed. He knew he had it better than everyone but that still didn’t make him anyone spoilt. He still looked out for others and even shared what he had to those who needed it. Although, he still could say no if the time ever came. This made him generally liked among others even if Ye-jun only made his company reserved for a few.

One of Ye-jun’s surprising yet strong likes was his interest of pop music. He was interested in it and one day, he decided to audition for the position to be in a potential music group. Although he wasn’t expecting to get in, his talent and effort ended up landing him a position.

He soon met up with all his soon-to-be group members and he all thought they were polite and respectful but one of them stood out the most.

Dae-jung. 

He had this aura that just drew Ye-jun in like a fish on a hook. He was attentive, affable, easygoing, and not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. Before he knew it, Ye-jun had butterflies in his stomach whenever Dae-jung was around.

However, he knew that no matter how confident he was about his feelings and self-assured to take rejection, he couldn’t act on his feelings. It was only a matter of time before they became idols. And once they would make their debut, it was out of the question. But Dae-jung was so passionate about becoming one. He didn’t want to ruin his wishes before they could even flourish. So he stayed silent.

Eventually, their group, STAR*STRUCK made its debut and they became big. People loved them. Ye-jun and Dae-jung were soon big stars alongside their two other members Byung-ho and Han-gyeol. They were doing fan-meetups, making albums, even getting presents and letters from their fanbase. It became overwhelming.

Ever since then, Ye-jun and Dae-jung have been secretly dating. They didn’t tell anyone about it, not even their trusted members. They didn’t want to take even the slightest chance that they could be exposed. 

One day, they decided to have their first date. Of course, they first made it seem like they wanted the entire group there. But secretly, they planned it on a day where both Byung-ho and Han-gyeol were busy. They soon both went to a private spot on a hill. Just a simple romantic dinner for the two of them.

But when they woke up the morning after, they couldn’t have been expecting what came. They both woke up to a racket going on within the dorm their group shared. 

Their manager came in, revealing that their date had gotten out and how everyone was talking about it. They were soon swiftly fired for breaking their contract. Dae-jung and Ye-jun soon started to feel melancholic about what was in store for the future as Han-gyeol and Byung-ho left them to process everything.

As the two held each other for comfort, a white mist filled the room. And when Byung-ho and Han-gyeol went to check up on the both of them, there was no sign of them. Nothing that showed they left or were hiding, like they disappeared into thin air.

Jun-ho was supposed to be the shining light in your pale and dark world. That's where you simply couldn't understand. The old days where he would shower you with compliments and kisses everywhere. His love filled words lifting her dull day each and everyday.

Now?

There's nothing else to hope for in this relationship.

From how he would take you any day and anywhere to the depressing isolation he had put you in, saying it was for the greater good. The gentle string of loving was now replaced with bitter words which made you wonder if this was the jun-ho you once knew and loved. The angel facade he had on completely disappeared and instead put on his true self on display. As you brought your paling torso up, you slowly try to get up from the bed only to be held back on your wrist with the sound of metal hitting the bed frame.

Seo-Jun hurried out of the apartment in the middle of the night as she tried not to wake you up.

Gong Yoo had been absent from you today and you didn't know why. You started to think if there was something you did that made him like this.

You let out a sigh and drifted off to sleep.

Seo-jun stared at her phone as she looked distressed and she hoped that she would find Joon-Ho alive. She knew it was her fault since it was her decision to see y/n again after she was buried alive. But Joon-Ho told her that it wasn't a good idea since Gong Yoo was still there and they both knew what he was capable off.

But she changed her mind and didn't listen. She didn't listen to the consequences that could bring it.

Gong Yoo had suggested a deal after he had buried the dead body of Joon Ho. If she disappeared out of their lives, he would not bother her anymore. She made up a plan and brought a baseball bat as she placed it back of her truck of her car before she drove off the streets where she would meet Gong Yoo.

As she pulled over, she frowned towards the place. Her eyes looked around with curious eyes before she stepped into the warehouse garage. She was walking through the hallways before she heard something across.

She gripped the baseball bat tighter as she followed the sound. Her eyes widened when she saw Gong Yoo pull the door down. With cautious steps she hit him back of his head as she watched him fell on the floor.

Gong Yoo woke up with a pounding headache as he fluttered his eyes open. He was confused for a moment before he realized he was in the cell. He widened his eyes when he saw Seo-Jun in front of him as his eyes turned into anger.

''What did you do?'' He growled as he stepped towards the glass cage and stood in front of her. ''What you did to me before you took me to the woods,'' She answered. Her eyes held with no emotion except anger.

He wasn't going to lie because he was afraid that was the end of your relationship. He didn't want to accept that he was going to lose you because he loved you deeply and his son.

''I already called her, and she's on her way,'' Seo-Jun spoke as she interrupted his thoughts. He looked at her as his expression turned into soft eyes.

Before he could say anything, he heard footsteps outside of the door as his eyes met with you.

You had taken the car and drove away from your house in the middle of the night and Seo-Jun woke you up. You didn't knew that she was snuck outside while you was in bed.

She sounded so stressed and wanted to show you something that would change your life forever. You began to grow nervous and you wondered if she had already figured it out.

You stepped closer to the building and walked through the hallway as you remembered the instructions that she gave you. When you entered into the small room, your eyes were shocked when you saw your husband in a glass cage.

''What the hell did you do to my husband?'' You began to raise your voice towards Seo-Jun. You widened your eyes towards him as you stepped closer. ''I wanted to show you what he did to me,'' Seo-Jun began to explain.

''You need to know about the real him, y/n, about why he kept the flies about you,'' You looked at her with confusion. ''How do you know about the files?'' You asked her.

''I was the one who sent the clues, y/n,'' She answered. Everything clicked to place as the image of flashes went through your mind. The USB, the files, and the clues that had been trailing behind was all because of her.

''It doesn't explain all of this,'' You told her as you gestured the cage and your husband with a bewildered look. ''He tried to kill me, y/n, don't you see? The reason why hewalked to you at the train station when you first met wasn't fate,'' Seo-Jun recalled the memories when you met him for the first time.

You had ended your second job since you needed to pay off your debts. But when you met Gong Yoo he promsied you to pay off them and asked you on a date instead.

''He was there to recruit you to a game that was more violence and where people would do anything for money,''

''He knew about the debts you had but instead of recruiting you to the game, he asked you on a date,'' You looked at her with shock before you turned slowly to your husband.

His eyes held with emotion as he placed his hand against the glass and met your eyes. ''Is this true?'' You asked him, your voice quivering with fear and anger.

You were angry on why you didn't find out this sooner. You were angry why he could do this and let his guard down. You were angry at Seo-Jun for ruining your happiness.

Gong Yoo looked down at the floor in shame. ''Yes, the frontman knew about this and it was my job to make sure that you didn't know about it,'' He muttered.

You stared at him, not knowing what to say. ''I need some air,'' You responded before you walked outside of the room as Seo-Jun stared at him. ''And I'm sorry for how I treated you,'' Gong Yo told her as she let out a scoff and followed after you.

Platonic Yandere Squid Game

Yes, I'm gonna idea dump here now.

Imagine reader being in her late teens. She comes from a poor background, which is why she had to leave school from an early age to do all kinds of odd jobs to help her parents pay their debts which seems to increase over time because her father is a gambler and her mother is chronically ill. Still, she loves them because things could've been way worse for her and she's grateful for them- they were good to her when she was young. Despite leaving behind her education, she is very smart- very observant and a quick learner who picks up on skills whenever she can, loves to learn new things so a part of her enjoys working.

Now our reader's parents are in deep trouble with the bank and the shark loans so when a man comes her way and asks if she'd like to play a game with him to make a quick hundred bucks, she agrees.

Fast forward to a week later, she wakes up in a bunk bed with several others after she'd called the number on the business card. There are many players, all that are in debt and want the prize money. You're the youngest player there, and you were already being pushed around and undermined by the other players.

So, when the first game starts, you're just as determined to win. But you stop breathing when the a player gets shot, you think you misheard, but then another person gets shot, and another and then its pretty much a mass shooting. Fortunately, you're too shell shocked to even move a muscle.

Somehow, you gain control over your body and realise that you need to make it over the line to stay alive. And you do it, closing your eyes as you heard the ones who didn't make it, get shot.

You're surprisingly very calm as you return back to your bed after the majority voted to continue playing instead of quitting. Quietly slipping under the covers, you let a few tears slip out of your eyes, recalling the massacre that you had just witnessed.

The next game, the honeycomb challenge was fairly easy to you. Being poor, you often had no food to eat so whenever you could manage to get the sugary treat, you would work hard to not break the shape of the candy so that you can get another one for free.

The masked men served lunch after the second game. You opened your tiffin and immediately scrunched up your face in disgust at the peas mixed in your rice. You began picking them out, trying to ignore how the number of players had dwindled.

When the third game, tug of war, was played, your team barely managed to pass, but they did win all because of your incredible leadership skills and strategy.

It was after that game when chaos started among the players. One of the bullies decided to fight one of the weaker players to establish his dominance and ended up killing him, and when the player's death added wads of cash to the piggy bank, you knew what was going to follow later that night.

You had no weapons, nothing to defend yourself. Well, not nothing. You had managed to get a soda can and put it in your empty pillow case, swinging it around and knocking people out cold when they got close to you. But one of the bully's men had managed to stab you with a shard of glass into your side. Just when you thought that he was going to slit your throat, the door opened and the masked guards came rushing in with their guns pointed at you guys.

You were taken to the infirmary, which was a bit weird because you didn't see anyone else being wheeled in there. For a second you thought they were about to extract your organs and sell them, but all fears went away when one of the masked guards, the one with the square on his mask, just stitched you up, advising you stay still and rest there. You were left there with two guards, both had circles on their masks. Maybe half an hour later, one of them left and brought your lunch- a tray with some soup, another tiffin, and a vanilla pudding. The guards helped you sit up, careful of your bandages and pushed the tray towards you. But since you were still high on pain meds, you couldn't feed yourself. So, they looked at the camera in the corner for a couple of seconds, as if waiting for a command, then nod and begin feeding you. One of them sits by your side and wipes your mouth, letting you rest your head on his shoulder, while the other spoon feeds you the warm soup. Then they open up the tiffin, and you once again scrunch up your face in disgust at the green peas in your rice. You turn your face away when they try to feed you the rice, and when they look at you questioningly, you point at the peas and make a face. The guard besides you had a hard time controlling the snort that almost escaped him, he just cant believe how childish and adorable you are. The other guard just sighs and looks at the camera for a few seconds, before nodding and begins picking out all the peas from the rice.

Suddenly, you take ahold of his hand, halting his pea-picking. "What-" he stops mid-sentence when he sees how you're looking at him- all star struck as you squeeze his hand in gratitude. "You- you're picking out the peas for me? You're- you're such a mice- no, not mice- a nice man! I love you!" Yeah, the pain killers definitely made you loopy, but that didn't mean the guards weren't 100% enjoying you in this state. And they were just so glad that the masks they were wearing were able to hide their blush and smiles.

After eating the rice, you didn't even give the guard a chance to grab the vanilla pudding as you suddenly snatched it, baffling the guards at this sudden burst of energy, and pretty much inhaled the sweet treat. The guard next to you wiped the corner of your mouth as you slurred. "S-sorry, its- just been too long since I had a 'nilla puddin" You smiled lazily before passing out on the guard's shoulder. The two looked at each other before shrugging and tucking you in, silently agreeing that this kid was actually kinda cute.

A couple of more days pass and the square faced guard still hasn't let you returned to your bunker where the rest of the players are. He says that you still haven't fully recovered, despite you telling him otherwise. But you're not complaining, a little less trauma is good for you. Plus, the circle faced guards, who you now call thing number 1 and 2, have been doing their best to keep you entertained. Sometimes they'd sneak you in an extra pudding cup, sometimes they'd bring in a deck of cards (after assuring you that this wasn't one of the games where'd you die if you lost). Even your rice were pea-free now!

Its hard to tell time in there, considering there aren't any clocks or someone who'd tell you what day it is, but judging by the meals they've given you, you think its your 10th or 11th day in the infirmary, and your stitches are almost healed by now, not to mention they took your blood and told you everything was good too. But they still won't let you go. That's when the fear of organ trafficking comes back to you like a rollercoaster.

It makes perfect sense, doesn't it? They've been keeping you healthy, watching you 24/7, having you on a strict diet and medicines, all because they want to take your organs and sell them.

You demand thing number 1 and 2 to let you go, to let you return back to the other players (where you think you have a better chance of survival). But they simply shake their heads, telling you to go back to your bed.

You panic, you know you should've bided your time, should've come up with a plan, but you panicked. Instincts kicked in and you pushed one of the guards down, taking the other one by surprise as you kicked him in the nuts, quickly snatching one of their guns and running out of the room. You knew there were cameras in every corner of this place, and you knew back up was coming to take you down, but that didn't stop you from running back to the bunker room, hoping to get the players on your side as you all band together against the guards.

But when you reached the room, it was... empty. Completely empty, even the bunk beds were gone now. Did they... all die? Did the games end? Did they escape? Or are they still playing another game?

You didn't have time to ponder more as you heard footsteps behind you, but as soon as you turned around, you were hit on the side of your head with something heavy by the man with the square on his mask. Thing number 1 and 2 were right by your side as you fell, and the last thing you saw before losing consciousness was a strange man in black that stood out amongst the sea of red guards.

You woke up to the sound of Sinatra's "Fly me to the moon" playing. Opening your eyes, you saw you were in a different room, not in the infirmary. The theme of the room was black and gold, with shiny marble floors and lavish furniture, a completely different aesthetic from the pastel colours you had been observing in the entire game.

Wait fuck- I'm not- I'm not trafficked to some rich perv, am I?

Your oncoming panic attack was stopped when the door suddenly opened, and in walked the same dude from before, the one clad in black.

He walked towards you with long strides, confidence and authority dripping off him. He pulled a chair besides you and sits down.

"How are you feeling now?"

"That's an ugly mask. Darth Vader's would've been better."

You both stared at each other for the next few seconds, giving you some time as you try to understand why you said that to someone who you're guessing is going to kill you soon.

"How are you feeling now?" He repeated his question.

"Like shit." You furrowed your brows at him. Hey, if he's gonna kill you, you might as well piss him off. "Look buddy, I was promised a fair chance at winning the prize. So, I'm not sure why you're holding me here instead of letting me play the games-"

"The games have ended."

Oh.

Oh shit.

You gulped. "So... I'm going to die now?"

"No."

"You're going to let me go home? The players decided to quit?"

"No."

"Well, then why am I still here?"

He stared at you, the few seconds feeling like he was going to deliver some very bad news to you. "I... have been looking for you. For quite some while." He watched your face turn even more confused. "I've been observing you ever since you entered the games."

Oh, there it is.

Nostrils flared, you couldn't help your anger. "So you've been watching me like some fucking creep? And now you wanna do it with a girl who's just barely legal? What the fuck-"

"Shut up." He said in a stern voice, that immediately had you shutting up.

He then took off his mask, revealing an older man, perhaps in his late 30s or early 40s. Setting his mask to the side, he looked at you and cleared his throat. "Many years ago, when I was 10, I had a little brother and sister, aged 6 and 4 respectively. We were very poor. When our parents used to leave for work, I was in charge of taking care of my siblings. But since money was tight, I started working in a rice field to help out the family." He paused, his eyes glazed as he recalled the past. "The owner would pay me by giving me rice. Half a pound of rice for a days work. I would bring that back home and cook it for my siblings. Sometimes if we were lucky, I'd even add some veggies- usually peas since they were the cheapest. But my sister didn't like peas, and she would pick them out. My little brother would eat all of her peas happily, even giving her his own portion of the rice." He smiled. "Jun Ho, he was always like that, the more caring of us three. So when one day I fell ill, he decided to cook the rice while I was supposed to keep an eye on our sister. But I- I fell asleep. I didn't mean to, but I did and the next thing I woke up to was her screaming. I rushed to where they were and found out that she had accidentally touched the hot stove, burning her hand. I grabbed her and took her to the nearest clinic. The doctor was able to apply some ointment on her hand and bandage it up quickly, but when time came to pay, I realised I had no money on me. One of the nurses said that she'll keep an eye on you while I went home to get money. But when I- when I came back, the nurse told me our parents had already paid the dues and taken her home." He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I was so stupid- I believed her. When I returned home, my parents were all panicked as they asked Jun Ho and I about you. Jun Ho had told them what had happened, how I took you to the doctor, but they didn't see my sister with me. And I didn't see her with them. Thats when we connected the dots and realised what had happened. My sister... she had been kidnapped. And it was all my fault."

You watched as the man straightened his back, as if trying to regain his composure. "I tried to find her, never stopped looking for her. But Korea's a big place, and I didn't even know if she was in Korea anymore. I left my family when I was 18, promising myself to only return when I found her. That's why I do this, that's why I... conduct this entire game. This game- its funded and watched by some very rich people. People who are so filthy rich that they don't know what to do with their money so they bid on the poor to see who would win and who would die. I thought... I thought that if I was able to use their resources and contacts, I would find my little sister. But then she entered the game."

"She died?" You asked.

He shook his head and smiled. "Almost. But I pulled her out of the game and now she's here. As is my brother, Jun Ho."

You nodded slowly. "Well, that's... great. So happy for your family reunion. Thanks for the story, can I leave now?"

He suddenly grabbed your hand, turning it to reveal the scar on the side. "You're my sister, Y/n."

You pulled your hand away. "Hey man, just because I don't like peas doesn't mean I'm your sister. Besides, this isn't a burn scar, its a birth mark, an ugly one but that's that." That's what you mom always told you.

"I tested your blood. DNA sampling, you're my sister." He said, pulling out a test report from his pocket.

"Well, I suppose you could fake a test report with the kind of money you have."

He raised a brow at you. "Why would I lie about something like this?"

"I don't know. Maybe this is another one of the sick games you're playing for those rich bastards." You huffed. "Besides, what did you think was going to happen? That you'd tell me some sob story and I'd believe you? And I'd just take your word for it and sit here for a family reunion, especially after you just confessed to hosting these sick games, murdering people for pleasure?"

"I don't host the games. I just manage them."

"Oh, thanks for clearing that up. That just makes it so much better." You said, rolling your eyes. "Now, if you're gonna kill me, then you better get to it right away. If not, let me go. I already have a family I need to take care of."

He smiled smugly. "What family? The ones you came here for? The ones who kidnapped you? Yeah, they happily gave you up in exchange for paying off their debts."

What? No, they wouldn't.

"You're lying-" He pulled out his phone to show you a video of your parents talking to the guy who was filming the video, agreeing to give you up in exchange for money.

No, they couldn't do that- fuck!

You looked at him, eyes teary yet furious from both the betrayal from your parents and at this man. "You probably forced them to. Or maybe this is just doctored. Doesn't matter. I'm not theirs or anyone's to give up!"

He pulled out a handkerchief and held it to you, but you smacked his hand away. "If its any consolation, they're dead now." He said nonchalantly, nodding towards the phone.

You watched as your parents signed off a contract and as soon as they did that, the man that was filming this shot them dead. You felt like a freight train had hit you as the sound of the loud shots ringed in your ears, your dads eyes rolled back into his head while your mother's mouth fell open in horror.

Dead? They- did they just die?

"They were never your parents-" You lunged at the man causing him to fall off the chair as you punched him. "YOU FUCKING PSYCHOPATH! YOU FUCKING PYSCHO! I'M GONNA KILL YOU-!" But you were no match for the man, as he quickly grabbed your wrists and flipped you over, watching you struggle to get out of his grip.

He pressed on some pressure point on your neck and watched as you fell asleep instantly. Sighing, he carried you back to bed, tucking you under the soft covers. Brushing the hair out of your face, he kissed your forehead.

"Maybe you'll feel better when you see Jun Ho. He was your favourite among us." He smiled, walking towards the door.

"Welcome home, Y/n."

Now for this mets day that instead of the front man killing Jun-Ho he brought him back to the faculty(??) since he didn’t want to kill his brother

Now The front man has been watching you even since the games started. You were younger than both him and his brother but In-Ho couldn’t care less. He thinks you’re a cute little thing, helping people whenever you can and you’re always nice to everyone.

Now In-Ho will have his brother stay with him instead of being one of the guards. He doesn’t want any of the information that Jun-Ho has collected to get out so for now his brother will stay under his watch.

During this time Jun-Hi will see that In-Ho pays extra attention to you. The detective will wonder what’s so special about you but, as Jun-Ho continues to observe you and slowly starts falling for you. He just finds you so sweet and kind and honestly wife material.

It won’t take long for the brothers to find out that the other has fallen for you. Even though the brothers are very good at hiding their obsession, both of them are VERY observant.

Both of them are extremely possessive but I think that because they’re brothers they won’t have too hard of a time sharing you.

Now During the marble game you paired up with Ali. You knew he had a wife and kid so you had no intention of winning the game. You and Ali decide on an easy game (it’s the game sae-byoke and ji-yeong played) It was easy to cheat and make sure that Ali would win.

You had Ali go first and throw his marble. Once it was your turn you just dropped the marble on the floor. Before Ali could say anything you called a guard over to let them know that he won. Ali pleaded with you to do a second round but you just shook your head and smiled at Him. The guards escorted ali out of the playing area before you were killed so he didn’t see you being escorted out a side door.

You looked at the square guards who were escorting you out questioningly but he said nothing. He just brought you down this lavish hallway that led to a black door lined with gold. The guard knocked three times before opening the door and guiding you to a bathroom.

The guard didn’t have to say anything for you to figure out what he wanted you to do. You stripped off the dirty clothes and threw them in a black hamper and got into the shower, turning on the water.

After you finished cleaning yourself and covering yourself with a towel the guard came back in and handed you some clothes. It was an oversized t-shirt, underwear and some sweatpants. Nothing fancy but it was definitely comfortable.

Then the guard led you to an open area. There were two men sitting on a lavish leather couch , facing a TV that showed all the players in the dorms. The guard quietly left the room leaving you with the two men.

The one dressed in all black motioned for you to come and stand in front of them. You didn’t know these men and didn’t know what they were capable of so of course you obeyed. The men introduced themselves as Hwang In-Ho And Hwang Jun-ho. They told you they’ve been watching you for a while and want you to stay with them. They said that they could give you anything you could ever want. Of course you refused, I mean you’re supposed to be dead.

That’s when the man, In-ho, got upset. He grabbed your arm and told you that you’re staying with them whether you like it or not. The other man tried to calm him down but it didn’t work.

However, once In-Ho saw your tears he quickly regained his composure and apologized profusely. Jun-Ho was quick to come to your aid and hug you while stroking your hair, while smirking at his brother.

Now Life with the two of them is basically just being in the middle of a brotherly rival. Both of them are constantly trying to win your affection. In-Ho isn’t the best at showing emotions so he’s usually the one that buys you things while Jun-Ho is the one that coddles you. He’ll hug you and constantly let you look pretty.

Both of them call you pet names like princess, love, darling things like that.

You will be SPOILED between the two. You’re constantly wearing the finest clothes and eating the best meals.

Whenever In-Ho has to take care of work he always leaves you in jun-ho’s hands (reluctantly)

Besides them being extremely possessive and not letting you do anything on your own life with them is pretty nice. Just behave because you don’t want to feel In-Ho’s wrath.
