could you do a Jack drabble where the reader loves just wolf form because they grew up with very large white dogs, that are similar to wolves? like they roughhouse with him in his wolf form how they did with their dogs?

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ A/N: Ok, this has been sitting for a while on my drafts but it's because I have never written for Jack before and didn't know if he is too ooc here or not. Hopefully not. I hope you enjoy, darling!

Jack has always been very observant. He could always know what passed though someone's head just as he knew you loved him. Though not in the way he wanted. You loved his wolf form, always kissing his head and snout and giggling to yourself whenever you could pet the spot behind his ears and roughhouse with him.

Love is love and Jack takes any love he can get from you. But he really wished for you to love his human form too. For now, while you seem fascinated by him, he is content being caressed snd fussed over. He likes to watch your eyes lighting up when you see him. He has all the proof right in front of him but he can't help but ask you about it. He loves hearing your voice.

"You really love dogs, don't you?" The question came after he return to his human form, a glint of sweat dropping from his forehead. You two have been playing around the woods for a while now but he couldn't maintain that form for long.

Jack watches as you pause and a myriad of memories fly through your eyes as you remember all the dogs you had back home, a flicker of longing crossing your face before you nod slowly and grace him with a little smile. And his heart sinks a little, but he hides it well behind his playful demeanor.

"Yeah, I do," You reply with a warm smile, fidgeting with the hem of your shirt so to hide what you felt. "I've always had a soft spot for dogs. They're so loyal and loving."

Jack's ears twitch at your words, a mix of emotions swirling within him. Wolfs are different, more stronger and bigger than dogs but they are almost the same. Does that mean you view him the same way? As someone loyal and loveable? He want to ask you so bad. You almost laugh at how his ears are twichting without knowing how much he is feeling right now.

"I can tell," He says lightly, taking a seat beside you. "I love it when you scratch behind my ears. Feels... good."

You chuckle at his tone. "Want me to scratch your ears right now?"

He do. Of course, he do. He wants you to lavish him with all your attention and love. But as you do, Jack can't help but wonder if there will ever come a time when you'll love him not just as a wolf, but as a man.

And he answered. "Yes."

As if was ever going to deny you this. You may not love him as he wants but he have everything he want. Your headpats, your little cooing voice, your shiny eyes and you cuddling into his side. For now, the wolf is satisfied with what the has. He tilted his head to your height, sighing when your warm hand made contact with his ears, so sofly, slowly. He looked at you, feeling his heart beating with so many mixed feelings.

"You're so cute when you're like that." You say, laughing a little while you got closer to him to continue playing with his soft ears. Jack could feel the weight of your words, his tail wagging behind him. You were going to be the end of him. "Thank for this... Letting me pet your ears and cuddle your wolf form. Don't you think it's a little strange?"

"It's not, don't worry." He was quick to add, desperate to not lose this. And you laughed even more.

"As you say, wolfie."

Leona Kingscholar? Who? You didn't even know he attended NRC for a few months. The cause being that he almost never attended his classes and never made an appearance unless he was dragged into it. It was only a week before you properly became friends with Yuu did you see him in person.

He towered over Yuu threateningly, silently forcing them to go where he was going. He flashed anyone who dared come close a sinister gaze, a gaze that makes you feel like prey that was soon to be feasted on.

Initially, you learned to avoid him. Unlike Riddle and the others, it would take more than just a few sharp words to get him to leave Yuu alone.

Until it was Wednesday and Yuu has yet to make an appearance in Mr. Trein's class. It has been like this for over a week now and you can visibly see the dissapointment in Mr. Trein's eyes as he glances at Yuu's seat.

They've been missing a lot of material lately, and Mr. Trein just announced a quiz next week. Knowing that they had a lot of trouble with history especially, you made it your responsibility to get them back of track.

Luckily for you, you know who is the reason for their dissapearance.

Approaching the Botanical Gardens, you already see a tail poking out of the bushes. Unimpressed, you stomped on it intentionally.

Startled, Leona awoke instantly. "Shit— Did you do that?" He sternly glared at you, expecting you to start apologizing.

You could see Yuu, who was caged in his arms, breathe a sigh of relief as you made an appearance. Meanwhile you were just glad Leona didn't drool on them.

"Yeah? Now let Yuu go. A quiz's coming up next week and they need to study." You commanded, not submitting into his predatory glare.

"And what?" He sneered before sitting up and turning to Yuu. "Hey, you're a smart one, right? I'm sure you can just miss one quiz and make up for—" Leona let out a pained growl as you stomped harshly on his tail again. "What the fuck!"

Yuu was immediately pulled up from the ground and into your arms.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" He asked aggressively, his sharp canines becoming more apparent than ever. "You've got some real guts to stomp on my tail like that. Why don't we make it even?" The dark shadow over his face clearly implied a darker meaning.

"Awh, that's a shame. I thought I would be able to snap your tail off." You retorted, not relenting. Still, some small part of you felt nervous facing Leona.

"You barely scratched me."

"Based on your reaction, I'm pretty sure I did more than just a cute scratch. Hey, what if I do it again? Third time's a charm, right? Maybe it'll actually snap your tail—" You could barely dodge one of his spells as it lunged towards you.

You and Yuu groaned on the ground. You felt bad for just pulling them to the ground harshly, but atleast you two weren't hit.

"What... Did you just try to kill us?!" You exclaimed.

"Nothing serious, just to paralyze you for a few seconds." He snarked. Although his tone was calm, there was a slight edge to his voice that you didn't like. "Now, give me that little herbivore back and maybe I'll spare you."

"Nothing serious my ass! Come on, Yuu—" you made an attempt at leaving with Yuu but was blocked by a tall figure.

His towering silhouette made you step back a few steps, "You've got some snark I'll give you that, but I wasn't kidding when I said give me the herbivore back." His darkened gaze fell on you, daring you to disobey him.

You glanced at Yuu, and they did too. You turned back with an annoyed stare, "Fine. I'll leave you two alone." You could sense Yuu's nervousness as you spoke out your last syllable.

A small smirk forms on Leona's lips, "Hah. Glad to see I've tamed the feral beast." As he let down his guard, you instantly took Yuu's wrist and dashed out of the Botanical Gardens as fast as you could.

You and the prefect ran inside the school and hid behind a crowd of people, hoping it would cover your scent. You scanned the area before pulling Yuu behind a wall.

"You alright?" You asked, checking for any scratches or bruises they might've gotten.

"I'm fine.. Thanks a lot by the way." They said with a small tint of red on their cheeks but you didn't think much of it. "Why did you do that?"

"Hm?"

"Why did you willingly provoke Leona? He can get violent when he wants to, y'know.." Yuu said, rubbing their forearm.

"Well, it was to save you, of course." You responded truth fully. "And to remind you about Mr. Trein's quiz soon."

You could only chuckle fondly as the prefect groans.

Leona didn't like you.

In better words, he despised you.

Even at the very start when he heard of the new friend the prefect has been hanging around with lately. (In fact he hates anyone who dared come close to Yuu.)

He didn't like it at all when the prefect suddenly started made him start feeling like he was second place all over again. Constantly having the need to be better and work harder to gain any form of validation from that one person who he wishes could just look at him like he was irreplaceable.

Unfortunately, those pair of eyes that stare at him so lovingly are only just an illusion he creates in his mind.

He hated that. That part of him who yearns for validation never moved on, never grew up to be the man he is now. That part was still stuck as a child, a constant reminder of the never acknowledged second prince of the kingdom.

The prefect was the first to fully acknowledge this when he overblotted. Even if he gave a cold shoulder, he couldn't help but feel a small moment of bliss. A moment where he could forget all his burdens and just focus on the attention he received from the prefect.

Until you came along.

He has memorized the prefect's schedule to the exact second. He was planning to drag them to the Botanical Gardens. He expected them to be around the courtyard, walking to class. Instead, after 10 minutes of waiting, he finds you and Yuu studying in the library.

When he waits in the library, he suddenly spots you two hanging around in the courtyard.

Some twisted delusion in his mind made him think you were intentionally doing this to spite him, even if you two have yet to even meet at that time. Sevens, he didn't even meet you but he already WIDELY hates you.

Safe to say, you and Leona were on bad terms. You didn't like him and he probably despises you. His death glares whenever you walked past him with Yuu only confirmed that. A chilling glare that would make a regular student scurry away, but you refused to make yourself look small to him, it doesn't matter how terrified you were.

Leona isn't sure when he purposefully walks by you just to make eye contact and see your hardened gaze directed towards him.

Leona isn't sure why the only reason he ever gets up from the Botanical Gardens is to see you glaring at him intensely.

He unintentionally remembers your schedule within a week, bumping into you more often than you would like. Ruggie is stuck wondering why Leona isnt at the Gardens when he needs him.

"Ugh!" You fall to the ground harshly after bumping into someone, your research papers scattering. Yuu wasn't with you at this time, they were currently carrying out a task Crowley had assigned them with Grim.

"I'm sorry! Are you okay-" you immediately stopped yourself when you lifted your head, locking on a pair of emerald eyes you dread to see as you walk in the halls of NRC.

An amused glint flickered in his green eyes as he scanned over your figure and the scattered papers. "What a mess, beasty. Suppose you should start cleanin' up now. Why don't I lend you a helpful hand?" He reaches downwards to grab one of the papers, and examining the contents inside.

You snapped your hand forward to grab the loser back but he moved away last second, "I don't need your help-"

"Won't ya look at the effort you put in to this paper? Color me impressed." He mocked. Of course you had out effort into that paper, everything was hand written-

The sound of papper ripping made you watch Leona in horror as he tore up your research paper right in front of you with no shame in his face at all. He even had the nerve to show a form of enjoyment at your cost.

It didn't help that that paper was the paper with all the factual evidence you had researched. Having to redo it again and pass within an hour would result in a rushed and low quality text.

Seeing the pieces of paper float downwards, an ugly and hideous emotion started bubbling up within you.

'How can he just stand there looking smug?! How do people look up to this man?! Who cares if you're a prince! I hope you die, Leona Kingscholar!'

Leona had expected you to start an argument with him, the reaction he wants and expected, but instead he watches you just sit on the ground with your eyes fixed on the ripped pieces of paper.

A part of him feels bored that this is your reaction. What happened to the foul mouth of yours back in the garden?

That was until you slowly lift your head and send him a gaze full of hate, disgust, and detestment.

It wasn't the reaction he wanted.

But when you look at him like that, he feels fulfilled.

Leona finds himself looking forward to seeing your glares each day. He finds himself amused when he sees your expression instantly darken when you catch sight of him lurking near you. He doesn't care if you do actually despise him with your entire being.

Leona would be delighted to hear that he was your number one enemy. What a shocker, the only time he wins first place is on someone's enemy list. Your death glares are his trophies.

Your eyes were the complete opposite as to what he wanted to see from Yuu, eyes that would rot and decay before they would willingly hold love and care for him.

Your eyes held so much anger and hatred for him that he can't help but feel like he's the only person in the whole world when you stared at him like that.

For once, Leona feels like he finally won first place.

Ruggie Bucchi

You... Actually don't know where to start? Sure, he's a cunning pick pocketer and has an obsession with doughnuts. What more can you say? You actually see him as a close friend, which was a surprise considering his... Awful housewarden that he serves.

Yuu wanted to watch a Spelldrive match today, mentioning how she liked seeing the colorful spells bouncing back and forth. You, of course, had to go with them. Seeing as how Leona and his Spelldrive club would be competing, you didn't want Yuu anywhere near that lousy lion.

You, Yuu, and Grim were sitting down together until Yuu had said something about being hungry and you offered to get some for the three of you. The game was on pause, as the players were taking a 15 minute break.

As you walked towards the food stands, you notice a few dandelions on the grass beside you. The plant wasn't anything noteworthy, but it just happened to steal your attention for a few seconds before you immediately turned your gaze away.

You finished paying for the snacks. You weren't exactly sure what Yuu and Grim wanted. Ah... you should've asked.. Eventually, you settled on doughnuts. The treats weren't to expensive, and the doughnuts looked too good from the display window not to buy!

A shuffling near the dandelions from earlier alerted you. You turned, praying it wasn't Leona, and instead... Saw a boy chowing down on the dandelions...? To

His features seemed familiar to you, you think you've seen him before. You realized he was one the players from the game! ...And was also Leona's right-hand man...

Confusion overrides you. Aren't the teams provided with food already? And isn't this guy being pai by myd personally by Leona? You want to just walk away but it will lay heavy on your conscience.

Reluctantly, you approached him, tapping his shoulder for his attention.

"Excuse me." You said, gaining his attention.

He turned his head, still chewing on the dandelion. "Huh?"

"Uh.. You can have this." His eyes trailed down to what you were carrying in your extended hand. "I don't think eating dandelions is good for you if I'm being honest."

"Sure it is! Been doing it for awhile now and I feel fine." He responds, making you grow concerned.

You shake the bag in your hand, "Take this."

"Whats this? A gift for me? Syehehe!" He took the bag and opened it. He was surprised to see that it contained 3 doughnuts inside. "Ya sure you want to give this to me? Spending thaumarks to replace these doughnuts won't be cheap y'know."

"You sure you wanna keep talking? Your game starts any moment now." You replied.

He grinned before biting down on the doughnuts you gave him. You eventually walked away, trying to come up with an excuse on why you didn't bring any snacks.

"Heyy! Where's the food?" Grim asked impatiently.

You smiled, "The lines were too long. We'll just get food after the game."

"Ah, okay. The game was gonna start soon anyway." Yuu moved to give you more space.

As you waited, you noticed the countdown for the start of the games had only 15 seconds left. You observed the stadium, noticing the Spelldrive club from NRC looking around hurriedly. A running figure at the corner of your eye caught you attention. You recognized him as the individual who you gave your doughnuts to.

Safe to say, he performed exceptionally well! Not like you had anything to do with his performance but you still feel like you held some credit.

You scooted closer to Yuu, asking if they knew who the hyena-like boy was.

Ruggie Bucchi.

....

Ruggie had figured to repay their kindness. It wasn't something he did often, but he felt he owe them something atleast. He also disliked feeling indebted to someone.

As he searched for you, he held a bag of doughnuts. He would be lying if he said he wasnt dissapointed that these doughnuts weren't for him.

Ruggie heard a familiar voice sounding from behind a door, a voice he adored to hear.

"What do you plan to do after you graduate from NRC?"

He opened the door to see the prefect and the person from yesterday sitting across from each other on a table.

"I'll probably train my magic more. Then, I'll try to join organizations that focuses on helping people." They spoke, sinking back on their seat.

"That's admirable." Yuu said.

"What about you?"

The prefect looked unsure, "I don't have much options to begin with... But if I could choose, I'd travel the world and document my findings as an otherworldly person." They smiled. "I barely step a foot outside of NRC. I think a job like that would suit me!"

Huh.

Weird.

Nothing like his already planned future with the prefect.

The two of them were suppose to get married, move in together, and live happily ever after. He would work hard and come home to the prefect in his arms, safe and unharmed.

That's the perfect future he planned for the both of them. How would he be able to come home to the prefect if they're out traveling the world? How would he ever guarantee their safety if he isn't near them?

Of course. Their safety is only guaranteed in his arms.

"And maybe you could come with me too?" the prefect turned to the person across from them.

They sent a small smile to the Ramshackle prefect. "I'd love to."

...

You didn't receive any doughnuts that day, and had no clue you were even suppose to receive doughnuts.

....

Ruggie planned a complete future for him and the prefect. It was perfect, and he was already saving up for when they will hold their wedding.

How would he be able to form that perfect future if the prefect left him to explore the world with that... person? The prefect should stay at home, with him. Home is where they will be free from any impurity that will stain their image.

You... you will ruin that. You will ruin everything. He orchestrated this future by the millisecond, but your influence will inspire them to do things that does not align with his idea of a perfect future.

You don't know why but Ruggie has been approaching you a lot as of late, and it was always when you were headed to hang out with Yuu. He always appears at the right time to drag you away and lead you somewhere else far from Yuu.

You didn't think much about it first. After all, he was easy to talk to, make jokes with, and overall friendly... Until he overdid it.

On days when you really wanted to see Yuu, you're constantly dragged away from him. Of course, there were times you refuted and explained you had to see the prefect for something important. Ruggie would agree to go get Yuu for you, but he always came back to you saying that the prefect wasn't at the spot you two planned.

On times you were able to see Yuu and inquire, they said that you took too long and they would end up leaving.

You'd make a better attempt at refuting Ruggie's attempts at dragging you away, but somehow... your body never seemed to agree with you. You try to turn and walk away from him, but your body forces you to walk besides Ruggie. The movements between you two were completely synchronized.

This has to be his UM, right? But how do you bring that up without seeming like an assumer? When you feel like you've gain control of your body again, you can hear Ruggie whisper something before you lose control once again.

You're forced to sit beside Ruggie on the grass while internally worrying for Yuu's safety. He starts talking and talking and you have no choice but to listen attentively.

Before you knew it, you and Ruggie have started meeting up more often than not. The relationship between you two deepening by the second, but you still only saw him as a close buddy. You find yourself enjoying and laughing at his jokes. This new side of Ruggie that you see wasn't like his usual playful and conniving self. He was sincere and even gentle.

On one of those meetups, you're easily pulled into a conversation about the future and whatnot. Unlike your conversation with Yuu, you actually went deeper about your plans.

Ruggie shared his own plans too, and you were surprised at how simple it was. He just wanted to be eternally together with his spouse. It's sweet, but you can't imagine being constantly around the same person at all times of day and night. When you shared that part, you notice a darkened shadow casted on his features before disappearing immediately as if you just imagined it.

...

Being constantly around the same person is tiring and repetitive? Aren't you the one who's always around the prefect?!

Don't you know how tiring it is maintaining a facade? He's sick of it! Sincere and gentle? That's nothing like him. At first he only did these meetups to force you and the prefect apart for as long as he could, but now Ruggie feels as if that plan backfired.

When did he start going to the meetups for you solely?

When did he start wishing the meetups could last all day?

Why does he feel a pang of hurt when you say you only see him as a close friend instead of your future eternal spouse?

Oh well... it's not like you even have a choice.

Ruggie has felt his carefully sculpted future with Yuu contort ever since you came into the picture. He feels as if the home he plans to live in with his beloved would suit you better. So what if you dislike being around the same person constantly? You'll just have to get used to it.

Yuu could travel the world at all times and he'd just let them be. The only thing he wants is you now after all! Syehehehe!

Jack Howl

Yuu's bodyguard.

It all started when you had to leave for the bathroom for a few minutes. When you came out, you noticed a group of students surrounding Yuu. Worry filled you as you came closer to the scene, hoping Yuu wasn't being harmed. Someone seemed to be Infront of the prefect, like they were protecting them... Is that Jack?

He scared the students away easily, and you immediately ran to Yuu for an explanation. That was until Jack blocked your way, when you were just mere meters away from the prefect.

"Do not come any closer." He commanded.

"Excuse me, I need to ask-" You tried pushing him out of the way with your arms, but it was no use with his physique.

"I said don't come any closer. Didn't you hear me the first time?" He repeated more assertively.

"Jack, they're my friend! You don't need to do that.." With Yuu's words, Jack reluctantly stepped aside. His piercing glare wasn't left unnoticed though.

You didn't waste your time on him, "Yuu, what happened earlier? Are you okay?" You patted your hands around the different parts of their body, checking for any signs of injury.

"I'm fine thanks to Jack. Those students just went up to me randomly and started bothering me... I'm not hurt though if you're still concerned."

You only sighed in response, "I hope youre telling the truth."

The prefect turned to Jack, "Thanks again, Jack. I'm not sure what I would've done, especially since Grim isn't here with me today..."

You noticed how Jack's tail started wagging at the sound of them thanking him. Talk about subtly, huh?

"Let's go now, (Name)!" Yuu said, gesturing you to follow them.

Yuu walked ahead, with you trailing behind. You stopped in your tracks right after you passed Jack.

"By the way, don't think I didnt notice your glare earlier." You said, loud and clear for him to hear. Without waiting for a response, you sped up to catch up with Yuu, who was unaware of what happened.

You definitely did not make a good first impression, but hey, what's new?

Ever since that encounter with you, Jack has made sure to keep you away from the prefect at all times he is near.

Jack's admiration for the prefect began when they planned how to stop and expose Leona from continuing his scheme. The prefect's highlighted intelligence and bravery enamoured Jack, and that started his little crush.

That "crush" spiraled into something deeper and twisted as Yuu started interacting with more and more people because of their heroic adventures. Jealously bubbled in him as the prefect started seeing him less and less.

Jack's idea of the prefect was someone of purity and untainted. He feared the prefect would stray away from that idea as more people start influencing them and "staining" their purity. That's when Jack started feeling the need to protect the prefect from everything that will ruin them.

The most influential person he feared would completely corrupt the prefect was you.

You were everything he didnt want in Yuu, so he made sure you were never getting near the prefect on his watch.

Jack has been appearing a lot more recently.

You found his appearances suspicious.. you dared say that it was convenient.

You were heading somewhere to meet up with Yuu when you bumped into Jack along the way. Remembering your last encounter, you tried to not stall the meeting. Savanaclaw wasn't really known for being welcoming and such.

"Where are you going?" Jack asks, arms crossed with a neutral expression on his face.

"I'm going to see Yuu." You replied, hoping that that would be the end of your conversation.

"Did they tell you? Crowley assigned them another task in his office. They're not free right now." He responds bluntly.

"What? They didn't mention anything about that.."

"That's what they said when I bumped into them a few minutes ago." He says, walking towards the direction you came from.

You can't bring yourself to trust Jack so easily, but he seems believable. He did just come from the direction you were originally headed. Plus, why would Jack lie about this? He appears like a serious guy, and doesn't really seem like he'd do those types of things without a reason or a plan behind it.

But he does have a plan, and you were unknowingly going along with it perfectly when you turned and left to go back to your dorm.

Awhile later, you received a text from Yuu.

Yuu: Sorry if I wasn't at there !! Crowley js gave me a task randomly and left :(

You: nah dw

You: Jack told me everything

Yuu: He did??

You: yeah while I was going to you, I bumped into him and he told me you were busy

Yuu: how did jack know Abt my task?

You: he said he bumped into you a few minutes b4 he bumped into me

Yuu: I never bumped into Jack earlier

Yuu: Crowley gave me a task and left and I just went with Grim to do the work so it wouldn't pile up

...

Jack lied and he didn't at the same time?

That's odd... why would he go out of his way to lie even if it resulted in the same outcome? It definitely wasn't necessary, but it also wasn't so perplexing that you'd start brainstorming ideas on why Jack lied.

In the end, it ended with you mindlessly texting Yuu for the next hour before sleeping comfortably on your sheets.

The following day, you were walking towards Ramshackle to walk with the prefect. Until a familiar beastman came into your sights. You didn't think the two of you had any reason to converse so you tried walking past him.

"Are you going to the prefect again?" He asks, back facing your back.

You turn your head to look behind you, "Yeah, I am."

"The prefect is sick so don't bother." He replies before walking away to the main building of NRC.

Sick? They did not seem sick last night!

Unfortunately, as much as you wanted to run towards Ramshackle and check up on their wellbeing, clock was ticking and a test was awaiting.

You eventually and reluctantly decided to walk back to class. If Jack was lying, then you'd prove that by seeing if the prefect was in class.

You scanned the room over and over but to no avail. It really does seem like Yuu had fallen I'll, was Crowley's task too intense? You figured to take care of them when classes were dismissed.

Jack internally celebrated the smooth flow of his plan. He was able to effectively separate the two of you naturally. If he kept this up, the relationship between you two would crumble soon enough.

Then, you'd never ever have the chance to taint the prefect's purity with your filth.

The prefect is only safe under his protection afterall. Who else would willingly drive away the wicked who wish to corrupt an angel?

Jack wishes that one day the prefect will recognize his efforts in maintaining their perfect being and express their gratitude. Maybe then he'd allow himself to embrace their warmth, to let his uncontaminated self freely bask in the serenity of their presence.

And when he allows himself the pleasure to do so, will he truly be happy.

(What a hypocrite. He dreads seeing unworthy people interact with the prefect, but wishes he could do the same without feeling guilty of tainting them.)

Class was dismissed and you were headed to Ramshackle, until you a familiar voice interjects, making you top in your tracks.

"Are you visiting the prefect?" Jack crossed his arms, his expression was still as stern as ever.

"Yeah, I'm gonna check up on them." You answer. You were slowly growing suspicious of Jack. Why does he keep asking about your whereabouts?

You thought about it for a moment before leaving. As much as you worried about Yuu, you knew they had their intense moments of stress. Times like those were much better comforted with solitude rather than company.

You planned to visit the next after class when... Jack conveniently told you something that shit down your plans instantly. And again, and again, before you knew it, it was already the end of the week!

You were becoming insanely anxious about Yuu's health, and Jack was no help at all! Honestly, why do you even just go along with his words anyway? It was so unlike you! The pit in your stomach worsens when the prefect has yet to message you for almost a week.

As soon as class was officially dismissed, you made a bee line towards Ramshackle and you swore nothing will stop you.

A familiar white headed man was in your path as usual, but you weren't going to leave now unlike before. "You're going to see the-"

"No! Just shut up!" You snapped, immediately causing Jack to shut his mouth.

His brows arched, seemingly agitated. "What was that for?"

"I need to go to Ramshackle!"

"You do know it's pointless? I already said it many times before. The prefect does not want to be in the company of anyone else-"

"And I don't care! They may not want to be in the company of anyone else, but they need someone to take care of them!" You locked eyes with him. "You are not stopping me this time!" You retorted, jogging away from him and towards the wooden building in the distance.

Jack stood there, stunned. He guesses his plan wasn't as perfected as he assumed it to be.

But it wasn't just that that left him stunned, it was that desperate look in your eyes when your pupils locked. The look of complete desperation and distress.

Maybe he saw himself in you. The pulsing urge to find out whether the prefect was okay or not. That's how he always felt whenever an overblot occurs and Yuu always happens to be involved. Distress fills Jack as he searches for Yuu in the aftermath of the disaster, only to see people crowding the prefect.

In truth, Jack barely interacted with the prefect. As their popularity skyrocketed, the prefect started becoming more and more like an untouchable deity in his eyes. No one was worthy of their presence, some were just lucky to be chosen as a close companion.

When he saw that look of desperation in your eyes, he thought you looked utterly pathetic.. The prefect was only sick for a week and you were getting so worked up over it. You were lucky to be chosen as a close companion, but you still weren't worthy of ever being near the prefect in his eyes.

Seeing you in that state made him realize something.

Perhaps somewhere deep in Jack's twisted devotion, he knew his desperate yearnings for the prefect was of no use. And he deluded himself into thinking you didn't feel good enough for the prefect as well.

Tainted and desperate just like him.

Jack felt afraid to come close to the prefect because he might've stained their being. But he didn't feel that with you. He didn't feel the need to suppress himself near you.

Like him, you were stained. You both weren't worthy of the perfect deity, but you two also weren't dirt filthy like the rest.

Perhaps only the two of you could make a perfect pair.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Lost in The Book: Over The Spiral Hill

Being stuck in a strange book was not what you expected, now you had to worry about your fellow Ramshackle doormates!  You hoped they would be fine, without Yuu or you. You glanced at Yuu and Grim, the two students happily looking over the strange pumpkin patch.

You look away only for a moment, hoping to see what was over the garden wall. Instead what caught your interest was the odd scarecrow hidden in the shadows. Raising a brow, you walk closer, hoping the moonlight would shine on the object.

“(Y/N)! Look at this one!”

You pause, you turn attention back on Grim as you see the little furball try to pick it up. 

You sigh, feeling the wind play with ends of your clothes, about to walk over to the two. An idea forms in your mind!

Kneeling down, you notice the scarecrow seemed much closer than before. Gently picking up the smallest fruit, the unmoving straw body was MUCH closer now!

You tilt your head, eyes shining with curiosity. You notice the sign above its head, “Halloween… Town.”

Reading aloud, you turn away, a sweet laugh leaving you, flustered as you hold the autumn fruit closer. “I… Hope you don’t mind.” You say to the scarecrow, “I promise to return it.”

Turning away, you carefully walk through the pumpkin patch towards your companions. Letting out a cough to grab their attention, you hold the pumpkin as if it were a skull.

“To be.. Or Not! To be.. Such is the question..!” You quote, expecting a laugh. Instead, Grim frowns in confusion. “To be what? A pumpkin?” He questions.

“No. It’s Shaksphere? Yuu, please tell me you know!” The Prefect shrugs, tapping their chin thoughtfully. “It sounds familiar…”

Going back to the scarecrow, you lean up against the wooden pool. Fluttering your lashes dreamily, letting out an over-dramatic sigh, “My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.” You state, raising the object close to your lips, as they pucker.

Yuu huffs, about to retrieve the fruit as Grim lays on their shoulder.

“I still don’t get it! But whoever this shake-ysphera guy is, sure is dramatic.”

“Well, that line was Juliets… From Romeo and Juliet…” You murmur as you chuckle at Yuu snatching the pumpkin away, placing it next to its brethren on the soil. “Rome and Jule?”

“No… Okay let me explain.”

Heading to the other side of the scarecrow, you say another quote. “A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life; Whose misadventured piteous overthrows. Do with their death bury their parents’ strife.” 

“Hmm… Henchman, do you get it?” Grim questions the other magicless human. They nodded thoughtfully, the wind tussling their hair.

“Kinda like... Christmas and Halloween, two opposites and can’t collide.” Yuu states proudly like they figured out the code!

“Oh so like that made-up holiday you created during winter!” Grim states, pointing a paw at you.

“IT’S NOT-How is that even-?” You groan, moving away from the protector of the patch. You try to explain, or direct the conversation elsewhere.

A glove-like hand grasps your own, as an unfamiliar laugh rings behind you, Yuu and Grim gape in fear while you  freeze. A young man with a grin steps into your view, his grip like a spider's web, strong yet delicate when holding your palm. 

“I greet you with a kiss, for this wonderful encounter..~!”

“Gino! What am I to do with these!?” Foulworth asks his companion, holding the box of decorations in worry. “(Y/N) and Yuu instructed us before, but this not as simple as I hoped.”

The fox-beastman grumbled, poking at a strange velvet hat with a cotton ball placed on top. Mixed in with the other Halloween items placed inside the brown box.

Rollo scoffed from his seat, hiding his sour words into his silken handkerchief. Watching the two fumble with green and purple tinsel as the ghosts aid them.

No, I just want a twst au where the first years decide to test how far they can go with insanity with how many horrors they deal with in one school year. Yuu included.

Yuu should act like the leader they were meant to be instead of being just a background piece.

Ace may not have a UM of his own and constantly gets underestimated, but knows how to put his wits and misdirection to good use.

Deuce may be slow when it comes to learning new things and is trying his best to be an honor student to make his mom proud... But he now knows that an honor student doesn't have some other qualities of his and that it can help him in more ways than one.

Jack may be a person who follows his principles well, but maybe, a little bit of personal justice wouldn't hurt. Especially when it comes to his pack.

Epel isn't going back to his old days, he swears! Even if it is tempting sometimes. But ever since he finally started to understand what Vil meant after that conversation with Deuce from VDC, as well as some tips from Yuu... Playing the "poison apple" is quite satisfying once he got used to self-restraint.

Ortho might act optimistic and innocent most of the time because his personality was set to be that of a child, but he's also... very overprotective of those he considers family. He's constantly learning more about the world around him, which also extends to the people he surrounds himself with! So, he shouldn't have much of a problem with... terminating threats to those he cares about. The line between right and wrong is blurry in NRC, after all!

Of course, there's nothing like murder or anything like that!... But the psychological damage/reputation/injuries are enough to scar anyone who goes far enough to do anything funny is quite... unfortunate.

The best-case scenario is when you get spooked enough as a warning! But I don't recommend trying again though. :D

You don't want to be one of the people who are foolish enough to do the same despite having a clear mind, unlike those who Overblotted, do you?

the way you let everyone walk all over you, to the students who had the guts to pick on you and actively cause you trouble. which Leona took care of them and the next time you see them, they had cuts and bruises all over... to the harmless request when you've already had so much on your plate...

to say it irritated him was an understatement, the next time he say you. you were doing some errands in the garden, where he was napping. behind some bushes and trees, he grabbed your arm, making you lose all the items you were holding, knocking you on the ground beside him.

Leona, as quick, cuddled up to you and used you as his pillow. Struggling was useless, and don't event think about persuading the lazy lion.

After that day, Leona will find you (If you try to run or hide from him, expect a bunch of Savannaclaw students to hunt you down.) and use you as his personal pillow.

If you ask him about it, he'll just say, in a sweet tone. (As sweet as Leona can without it sounding fake.) That he's just looking out for you~

Ruggie will 100% make you feel guilty on telling him no.

He was walking past you and your little group, when you're friends were fighting for your leftovers. While they were busy, he snuck up to you asking if you would give them to him~?

"Leona has me running everywhere for him, I haven't had time to get lunch for myself~"

He totally had eaten... but you didn't know that. When you agreed to give him your food, he leaps up and says, "you're my hero, perfect~! I would have been a goner without you~"

The next time, Leona just asked him to do something for him during his lunch break. That's where you come in.

"Hey Perfect! Could you help me with something~?"

This time you were busy and you needed to run some papers to Crewel, who was on the other side of the school...

"O-oh... That's okay... mph... i guess I'll have to skip this lunch break again.."

He made sure to tuck in his ears and tail to add for effects. before he could "wobble up" you quickly stopped him and told him that you'd help.

"Awww really? Thank you, Perfect~ I'd be lost without you~"

He made sure to give you a cute little smile while twitching his ears. he knew you loved his round ears and little tail~

Did he feel any guilty for doing these tricks on you? No that much. But he did think it was super cute on how gullible you can be sometimes~

Jack found out about your history by accident. You were changing after one of Grim's failed potions in Crewel's class. You rushed back to your dorm while Grim was scolded by Crewel and Jack was just on his way to return your stuff from that class.

He promised he knocked, but when he thought you said enter, he walked in on you changing! Your back was turned, until you heard the door open and spun around to find Jack. Jack's face was a mix of horror and red from embarrassment. He quickly shut the door and rushed down stairs, to cool off and to give you some space.

Once Jack sat on the couch to think, remembering you body and your scared expression. were you scared of someone peaking on you or where you scared of... something... no. someone else..? Who hurt you..? why do you have so many scars..? Some of those scars...You couldn't have done that yourself...

It took about half and hour for him to be back on to his normal self, as normal as you can be when you're worried for someone... It also took you the same amount of time to calm yourself and to explain to Jack about what happened.

when you told him your story, you watched his face the entire time. his face told you that he was listen to everything but from his ears and tail you could tell his not happy...

After you finish, some tears shed, he hugged you and swear that he'll protect you from anyone and everything.

Deep down in his heart, he knew he has to make you see that you cant return back to your world. Even if you have "good things" in your world, he doesnt want to risk it.

So he made a vow for himself, he'll make you see that he could protect you and you could only live a better life... with him.

Deuce

Deuce likes you a lot. You were the first person to like him for him. You didn't make fun of his short comings. You didn't mind his history. You are just so sweet and he just wants to protect you forever!

He found out about some NRC student picking on you for some of the scars you have, he say red.

He momentary blacked out but what he remember was that he looks at you and you were curled into a back, covering your ears, eyes tightly shut, and you were talking to yourself..?

The next thing he knew it, the teacher came and took him off the students.

He's getting punished with the other students for fighting, he got an ear full from the teachers and from his housewarden. But despite everything, the only thing that was running through his mind was, why did you react like that..?

He remember from back in his delinquent phase that everyone, either ran away or just stand in horror..? But you just sat there like... like a kid that-

Mid-Riddle scolding him, he ran out of Heartlabsyul and ran to Ramshackle Dorm to check on you.

When you greeted Deuce, worried on why he ran to your dorm, he grabs you into a hug and was repeating sorry's for scaring you and making you relive hurtful memories...

You sigh, sat him down, and explain your past. saying 'yes, what happened was stressful but he was friend and you knew he had good intentions'

He hugged you again and made a mental note on not taking care of people like those bullies in front of you next time...

Silver

He always noticed you hanging out with Sebek, which he appreciated and Malleus and Lilia only has good things to say about you too, which was nice.

He kinda wished he had more interactions with you but with being in different classes, different grades, different activities, plus his habit of sleeping. He can understand why you two don't interact.

But luckily for him, fate had other plans.

Silver had a sleeping spell when he was on a bench at school while everyone was in class. You were running an errand for Crowley so you were outside of class with some not so light boxes, then you ran into him.

When he opened his eyes, there you were gently shaking him awake, asking if he's okay. He thought it was sweet that you asked if he need you to walk him to the nurse.

Instead of heading straight to class, he asked if he could help you?

You were against it at right but with Silver adorable sleepy face, you did have the heart to say no.

While he was helping you, you two talked and shared stories about Malleus, Lilia, and Sebek. Maybe Silver is a little gullible, but he thought you were magicless? How did you place a charm spell on him without a wand? or an incantation?

After helping and continuing classes until the school day was over, Silver went to Lilia to ask him if the magicless human can preform spells?

Lilia had to take a few minutes to explain to his son that he's just fallen in love.

"Say Silver, if you want to charm them back~ This is what you should do~"

Too bad for for you, Lilia gave him his "dating advice" which are very much illegal now.... different time and all...

Headcanons I thought about

Yuu was raised by a Darling Parent, but has clear Yandere tendencies which their mom tried to curved while they were in Yuu's world. It was successful until Yuu got summoned back to Twisted Wonderland.

Crowley assumed Yuu was a Darling until Rollo transferred over to the NRC following the whole NBC incident and properly teach Yuu a more protective instinct to the whole Yandere approach.

Yuu carries a bat with them due their Darling Parent sealing away their magic. Great for breaking bones or knocking someone out - I mean great for protecting their Darling Skully and themselves.

Darling Skully Headcanons

He assumed to be a Yandere due to his personality and demeanor.

He actually considered getting trapped in the NBC Book a blessing because that meant he wouldn't have to be exposed to being a Darling. That changed when he met Yuu and recognized their matching themes him(Jack Skellington) and Yuu(Sally). In the NBC event, the characters mentioned how Yuu's outfit looks more like patchwork than theirs, so Yuu is The Sally to Skully's Jack Skellington.

He has bitemarks on his shoulders by Yuu and even a special Halloween themed choker he's forced to wear. The choker has a bit of patchwork frabic with a black and white heart in the middle of it. He's uncomfortable with it, but it beats being drugged by a Love Potion, so he'll take what he can get at this point.

Yandere Yuu and Darling Skully Headcanons (If they stay in NBC Book)

Yuu essentially gives up on going back to their world and the TWST world to stay with Skully.

It also makes Skully easier to protect because Yuu is essentially magicless and a bat and Potions can only do so much in the grand scheme of things, so staying in the Book has more benefits for them.

Skully has mixed feelings about this arrangement, on one hand, he gets to stay with his Idol and not worry about more toxic Yanderes, but on the other hand, he has to deal with Yuu being his Protective Yandere.

Yandere Yuu and Darling Skully (outside of NBC book)

Yuu is fiercely Protective over Skully, stitching their own leftover stitches from various outfit onto his outfit.

Yuu upgrades from a bat to an actual magical bat due to Yandere platonic Sam recognizing Yuu's overprotective Yandere tendencies and the fact that Yuu is considered weaker than most average Yanderes in their world beside why not help his favorite little imp out.

Headcanons about Yuu's Darling Parent

Much like Deuce's Mom, Delia, Yuu's Mom was a Darling.

Unlike Delia, Yuu's Mom hadn't ran away in time until Yuu was two and that was after killing the Yandere and getting sent into the magicless world.

Yuu's Mom sealed Yuu's magic to keep them hidden from the public and government as a way to keep them both safe.

Yuu's Mom definitely tried to curve Yuu's Yandere tendencies to the best of her abilities.

They meet (again). Part 2. (Yandere! Poly! Twisted Wonderland x Male Reader)

Riddle and Floyd: M/n needed a job after ending up in Twisted wonderland with his little brother, Yuu. He didn't have many choices and only had experience with restaurant work as a waiter. So when he heard there was a restaurant on campus, the Mostro Longue, and that it was hiring he immediately went there.

Azul, the manager of the restaurant and dorm warden of Octavinelle, surprisingly hired him on the spot after hearing he worked in a restaurant back on Earth. When the interview was over they were taken out and introduced to most of the other staff. Jade Leech, octavinelle's vice dorm warden and the assistant manager, told his twin brother Floyd was off with his boyfriend, Riddle Rosehearts, and would not be in til later when his shift started in a couple hours. However 10 minutes later Floyd came in with a short red haired guy M/n assumed was Riddle and they sat at a table in M/n's section.

M/n walks up after a few minutes and smiles at them before he can introduce himself as their waiter. Floyd looks at him intensely and then grins far to widely. Riddle however barely gives M/n a glance. M/n feels nervous but before he can talk Floyd does. "Hello, shrimpy. You're new here? You should be careful in a place like this. You might attract some weird attention.", he says and giggles afterwards while smiling way to widely. Riddle glares at Floyd before turning to M/n.

"Just bring us some water for drinks for now.", says Riddle without smiling but not scowling either. M/n nodded and walked away. As soon as he was out of sight and ear shot Riddle turned to Floyd and hisses through gritted teeth. "You fool, you almost scared him off. We have to play by the rules I set or we will surely lose him. If do something like that again it will be off with your head. Do you understand me?", says the red head. Floyd nods and giggles again. "Crystal, goldfish.", he says while crossing two fingers behind his back.

Epel and Jack: M/n was a student at RSA and Neige's fraternal twin brother, the plain and insignificant brother to almost everyone including their parents. The only one who really cared for him was Neige himself. It all worked together to give M/n very little self esteem and make him depressed.

Which is why when the headmaster at RSA said he was sending M/n to NRC for a exchange program he could not work up the courage to say no. He went to NRC and was sorted into a Pomefiore. The dorm warden, Vil, assigned M/n to room with someone called Epel Felmier. M/n had just finished settling in to the previously unoccupied bed in the room when the door opens.

A purple haired guy who is as short as M/n is and a tall white haired tanned wolf beast man came into the room. They stopped and starred at M/n. M/n shifted uncomfortably under their gazes. Finally the purple haired guy spoke. "I heard you're Neige La Blanche's brother. You look different from each other.", he said.

M/n flinched. He knew what that meant. He wasn't as good-looking as Neige. Everyone either said it bluntly or in a round about way like purple haired guy. M/n forced a smiled and said, "That's because we're fraternal twins not identical."

"Oh, how fascinating. It must be wonderful to have a brother like that.", the wolf beast man says cheerily. M/n forces a smile again and nods. He looks at the clock in the room and gets up.

"I have to go. I'm late for something.", says M/n and then he rushes out to door to find a place to cry privately. It seemed to him that no where could he escape his brothers shadow. As soon as he was he was out the door though he couldn't see or hear the wolf beast man and the purple haired guy turn to each other and speak lowly.

"I want him, Jack. He's perfect.", says the purple haired guys says causing the wolf's tail to wag slowly. "Me too. He'd been so cute and sweet in between us, Epel.", says Jack.

You stared at your classmates who's focusing on the class. Your looking at his mouth because it's those rare times his gear is without that mask over his mouth.

"You put the green potion..." You heard him speak and saw his sharp teeth, looks very, very sharp. You want to reach out to your lab partner to touch his teeth, but you still have some sanity to think that's stupid to do.

"Then I will put red potion for—" he once again spoke, you keep looking at his teeth. Your gaze becoming something he can't ignore. "Yuu, is there something on my face?" He finally ask you.

"Hey, just curious. How sharp is your teeth." You let out what you wanted to ask. You were quite shameless and doesn't even care now about where you two are. You saw your friends give you a bombastic side eyes when you said that.

"Can I touch your teeth. Will I bleed out like it's knife sharp?" The curiosity have taken over your mind.

You want to ask many questions and Ortho who's the target of those questions was taken back by your question. But he finally understand why you keep looking at his face for a while now.

"Sure if you want, you can do that after class." But doing something like that, it's not appropriate in this time period. Because he don't want to get kicked out of the class nor he wanted that for you

"can I touch your teeth? Yuck." You stared dead in the eyes at ace who impersonate you and your words earlier, putting on a disgusted face as he told this to Jack, sebek and Epel who's not classmate with you four ( Ortho, Deuce, Ace, Grim/Yuu)

"ahahaha. Can you believe that?" This bloody bastard of a friend laugh at it as if it's the most comedic joke.

"Your words sound like trey who want to be dentist. So weird." Ace added.

"..." You then proceed him the true friendship by stepping on his feet and stealing his fries.

"Oh. I just lock the door cause some student might come and see that your touching my teeth because your curiosity get the best of you, after all." He laugh at your assumption. Through he don't think much of it as he change to a new year that's better for this situation.

At least your thinking his getting a new gear but he just remove his default white gear's mask and smiled at you.

"..." suddenly siren noises come flashing in your head. You felt like someone will knock go the door and arrest you for some reason, even so you don't think it's something that will take you to jail since you aren't doing illegal. You just want to touch his teeth.

"prefect?" He called out to you who's frozen in place. "What's running in your mind now Yuu?" He often surprised by the most random things that goes in that little head of yours, he can't guess what it might be even as a super computer.

"trying to think if going with you in the room alone and doing something like that will lead me to jail." You honestly says which made his point about you being unpredictable even more highlighted.

"Why would it be?beside I don't think my brother made a gear fit for such activity to put you in jail." He laugh as he understands where you going.

It seems that to some people as his based to the real Ortho who died so young, he might be thought as mentally and physically child like. But then again to those people who think so.

Do they concluded android age like humans? It's rare a case one felt emotions for a human. If anything his mind process things more than any mature adult as a super computer after all.

"don't worry perfect even if you kiss me you won't go to jail. Even if they try to do so, I just shoot beam at them." He jested, trying to calm the trouble in your mind the beam part probably isn't with how he often use those in times of trouble. After all your only curious about his teeth and your little mind have not dwell in such matter such of the moment.

Hmm. Maybe one day...' he thought as you finally get reassurance and walk closer to him.

"Oki... " You smiled thinking that Ortho is sure am assuring person. Not processing what he just said earlier. You reach toward his face as he open his mouth.

"Ahh." He watch you with analyzing your every move, you don't notice his gaze as your looking at his shark like teeth. Hmm very interesting.

"Oooh." You were awe when you realize they were a bit pointy but not enough to poke a wound out of you if you just poke it softly.

"Is it metal or like those false teeth.." you mumble to yourself as you shamelessly held his face and use your thumbs and pointy finger to poke and explore his mouth.

You were focus on his teeth you don't notice that his system that seems to have a little break down as it tried to process the closeness and his emotions, creating an effect of his face blushing. He wonder if you even notice it. But you don't seems like someone who would when your mind is occupied in one matter.

You were gentle trying to not force his mouth to open or something rude. You just put your thumb in different type of pleasure if it bleed or not. Super interesting, how idia made almost realistic teeth.

"Ortho I heard you brought — ...." The door was unlocked by the room owner and idia come to a sight of his blushing brother and you poking your hand inside his mouth ( only his front teeth but in his prospective it's the same thing) shamelessly doing something that couple normoe with kinks do! In his own room!!

"ow." You were surprised by idia voice and stab your hand with Ortho teeth, now your thumbs is bleeding out.

"Are you ok, Yuu?" Ortho quickly enter his gear for potion class that have the right tool to help you with your wound. Not looking at idia who's petrified on what he just witness.

"Y-yuuchi..." Idia want to question what you were doing earlier but saw you were really bleeding out. Those teeth are extra sharp in the default gear it seems.

"Geez... This blood look like some vampire scene. How are you not passing out with That—..." You were being scolded by idia who went to get a towel from his closet but realize you pass out in the same position you where just now.

"This won't end up as murder case right?! What are you two doing just now anyway?" He was terrified in the thought that some normies will come to his room to expect him being murder and takes his brother away as a suspect. THATS A NONO!!

"prefect was curious about teeth in the gear you made for me." Ortho told his brother the truth. "Based on their YouTube they been watching a lot of Shark video lately. It seems it might been the case." "If it's about shark, won't the two crazy people in Azulchi dorm be perfect for that?"

"nii-san you want Yui to sell their soul just to touch teeth?" Ortho gives his brother a bombastic side eyes as if his brother seems to forget those Eel twin are the least choices in such situations.

"Based on the people they know with such characteristics and personality, you probably would flat out reject it and be too embarrassed to even think about it." He stared at his brother after putting Yuu to the bed. The sound have been healed up.

"... Your not wrong, but still. Why where your face red earlier? Did you also gain that kind of emotions too?" His brother is worried about him.

"Oh it's just a minor Short circuit." Ortho smile like it's not a problem but his brother is even more worried.

"... Ortho do you think such story would work out? You should calculate that the chances of those type of situation will end up with either side being in a dead end." His brother seems to know what Ortho really think about the situation.

"Beside one day, the prefect will leave this place. Don't tell me your going to ask me to reformat you from the memories of the prefect if that every happened." In such stories, all possible ending is a tragic. Not just because Ortho is not human, because they belong to different worlds. One day, in unsuspecting day, you will return to your real world. Both of you and Ortho will be sad. That's just unfortunate fate meant for such love story.

His brother who's seating on the bed, looking at the sleeping form of yours seems to take the words of his brother and thought about it.

"..." - Ortho.

"there's a tale about the wife of the lord of the underworld." Thinking about it. If someone really want it. Theres always ways to do things. "That fruit should be in our home isn't it...?" The pomegranate.

"... W-wait Ortho, your not serious right..." Idia stared at him in shock that his brother even brought up the fruit of legend, that only grows in the island of grief. It's a variety of a certain fruit that have a curse. But you can only find it, inside the underworld, the only tree that grow in that place.

Ortho just smile at him, making him even more worried about such matter.

Growing up with him was fun and he was certainly an overprotective brother, spending as much time with you as possible so you wouldn't feel lonely as he did. You were always together and this stayed true even when you reached your teens, glued side by side, one not being seen without the other. Though you were much more receptible and approacheable than him.

Jack is a cutie and you can always read him like a book, so honest and hardworking, you initially like to spend time with him and taking care of his cactuses, listening to him ramble about his interests and hobbies and random things. His voice so calm and deep, making butterflies dance on your stomach and smile as a kid with their first crush.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ You start dating after a while. And, as you are a few years ahead of him, you two always have study dates where you offer him a little kiss at every right answer. Plus his soft ears twitch every time he receive your kisses and praises, and you like to tease him because of it. It's also common to save a place for each other on the canteen. Your brother realizes a little too quick about your feelings but he doesn't mind much, though he and Jack do have a very serious conversation. Malleus don't take lightly to anyone breaking your heart.

He let you put bows in them too but never in public, those are moments reserved in the secrecy of yours or his room. But you can also melt in his arms that are so tight and strong, his tail wagging wildly behind him from how happy he is that you reciprocated his feeling. Jack is very straightforward with what he feels and is also quite quick to say 'I love you' to you.

As always Crowley requested your help, and this time it was setting up the Halloween carnival, he put you in charge of decorating which thankfully you could do since you happened to love designing things

Skully found you carving pumpkins and was rather impressed with your handiwork

You were happy to see him again after last years event

After carving many pumpkins you had enough Jack O Lanterns

Next was the tents, it wasn't hard when you had friends in your corner to help with their magic granted you had to stop a certain duo(cough Ace and Deuce cough) that shares a brain cell from destroying each other

Once all that was set it was time for costumes, Vil had been giving you lessons in sewing and it was the perfect time to put those skills to use

Skully too was having fun stitching together your guises

When it was done and you dressed in the costume, you saw Skully had a massive blush upon his face clearing his throat Skully offered his arm which you linked with your own

Crowley thanked you for your hard work but of course bragged of how he is so gracious to allow his student to practice their skills making everyone roll their eyes

While everyone enjoyed the carnival Skully led you to one of the areas where guests could dance and danced with you in a slow waltz

"There's something I'd like to ask you y/n" he spoke

"What is it?" You asked

You felt your face heat up but brought yourself to tell him "I'd love to"

The Nightmare Before Christmas Lost in The Book: Over The Spiral Hill

“Hello… You. A wonderful person who sleeps in my arms. I wish you could open your eyes…” 

A voice whispers closely by your head, feeling fingers ghosting over your skin. You recall the previous events that had transpired. The book Grim found on the floor of the bookstore, Yuu and you reaching out to save him from being sucked in along with your friends…

Where are they!?

Feeling your body regain consciousness, your eyes admittedly search for the group, relief settling into you once seeing them asleep near you. Yuu holding Grim within in their arms as they snooze quietly together.

The worry you felt lowers, relaxing into the warmth of the pin-stripped suit holding you close.

Raising your head to the stranger, you feel your words falter in your throat. Dark sun-glasses covered his eyes, yet they lowered when he too eyed you more closely. The color of blood-orange irises astonished you, the brightness in his gaze reminding you of a lit jack-o-lantern.  

“Augh… My eyes feel heavy..” Grim grumbles, waking up as Yuu stands up clumsily with the fluff-ball in his arms.

“Grim! Yuu!” You call out, attention away from the newcomer as his lips tilt into a confused frown.

The male that held you previously was named Skully j. Graves, or Skully for short, introducing himself with polite flourish. Until… He gone up to everyone in kind, kissing their knuckles happily. Causing a good chunk of your friends screaming, until finally settling his sights on you at the tail-end of his kissing spree.

“Oi!” Epel calls out to the taller male, about to step in, “Don’t try that on (Y/N)!” Skully ignores the purple-haired student. Walking up to you with a beaming smile on his lips as Yuu shoots you a thumbs up. “He’s a gentleman.” They state loudly as Grim puffs out his chest with a pout, unhappy that his fur was touched.

 Holding out his towards you he bows graciously, waiting for your move, you reluctantly take it. He straightens his body, holding you close as he presses a kiss, eyes closed as yours’s widen.

You grin, choosing to reappreciate you leaned closer, pressing a kiss to his forehead near the diamonds around the crown of his head.

The male pauses, this time, he seemed shocked at such a gesture.

A jovial laugh leaves his throat as he eagerly scoops you up into his arms. Grinning like a fool as he twirls you around, not minding the glares he received.

Idia grumbles under his breath. "Ugh... This is nauseating, such a crowd..." He shrinks in his seat during the Halloween Town meeting, "Too many sparkling ikemen... It's like a new costume event in I.R.L..." He bemouns quietly, seeing a few of his classmates stand up to greet the townsfolk as politely as they could.

Glancing at his seatmate, Vil eyes the crowd skeptically. The blondes stare scared him even more!

Hearing the commotion on Halloween should be celebrated, Idia glances at Yuu and Grim and the Ramshackle House-Warden. "H-Hey... What about you..." He mumbles to them, unsure as he fiddles with his tailcoat.

"Hm?" You think for a minute...

"Halloween has a complicated history from where we're from." You explain to Idia. As your fellow NRC friends become interested at your own ideas. "There's so many people that celebrated it differently. Skully's example is actually not too far off from-"

"Eh-!?" Epel exclaimed, shocked. "So it's really dull' for you?"

"Well- I meant to say, since there's so many cultures and religion it just depends on how YOU feel about celebrating. Kinda like Chris-"

"Oh, not that made-up holiday again!" Grim whines as Yuu laughs.

Another Beautiful Day (First Years x Yuu)

You have been having strange dreams lately. Every time you go to sleep you se the same set of flashing images, a carriage ride, a crumbling castle under a ink stained sky, ending in the jaws of a monster. The pain you feel from the flames makes you wonder, on nights when you are alone in Ramshackle with Grim, if those dreams are less fiction and more of a memory.

You are not the only one who has those dreams. There's another, laying awake in his bed, hand clutched tightly over his frantically beating heart trying desperately to hold the fraying edges of his sanity together. How many times has he done this? How many times has he tried to hold onto the last fleeting traces of warmth in you with his cold, unworthy hands.

Again. He loves you, that is the one thing that refuses to change no matter how many times the world is reset. He loves you, he has no choice but to try again.

Ace

There was, perhaps still is, a pretty viral theory about Ace being a traitor involved in resetting time. While I can't ever see Ace purposefully causing Yuu's death ever, I can see him deciding that if he has to play the villain to get the outcome that he wants, well then, that's just what he's going to have to do. Ace knows how to annoy people, comes with the youngest child territory, more specifically he knows how to annoy you. He can stand having no one if it means everyone's focus is on keeping you safe, it's easier to admit that he loves you when no one's around to hear it. It occurs to you that he might, it even crosses your mind that the strange dreams your time-loop troubled subconscious is so desperate to hang onto, ones where you are with someone you love dearly, could be about him. How else would he know how to push all your buttons, why else does he always know when and where you'll be in trouble. If Ace doesn't love you, why does he know all the things you like about this world before you do? It's a painful thing to be known, even more so if the person who knows you refuses to let themselves be vulnerable with you. The more things change the more they stay the same... huh?

Deuce

Ever watched Tokyo Revenges? I know some of you have, I can see you. Anyway Deuce might not be a crybaby but he is loyal, determined, and stuck on desperately trying to save you. Well not just you, Deuce realizes that Overblot Grim spells doom for a lot more people that just those inside NRC. Sage's island might be remote, but people still live there, if the monster got out who knows what sort of damage it will do? He tries his best to be normal around you, to befriend you and protect you in just the same way he did before, but he's a much more serious and moody person than he was the first loop around. How is he supposed to explain to you he couldn't save you, that he's watched you die countless times and only had ashes to hold and cry over? Not just you either, he's seen Ace and Epel and Jack, hell even Sebek, Die over and over again because he wasn't smart enough to stop it. Ace manages to pick up on something being wrong, and Deuce being Deuce he fails to lie properly, "dragging him into his mess." But he can tell Ace doesn't mind. He takes his impending doom as a challenge, encouraging Deuce to do so as well. He's stupid, he should just give up and let someone smarter save you. But he's your stupid, kind of crybaby hero. He'll save you, just you see.

Jack

Trying to save you is as much an instinct to Jack as it is raw emotion. You are his soulmate, there is nothing casual about his investment in your relationship, nothing short of divine intervention that will keep him from trying to save you. But he will admit he feels rather unprepared for this... development. It's all well and good to say you will break reality before he lets it take you from him, but actually being strong enough to do that? Jack's a good boy, but no matter how smart he is he's a bit of a muscle head. He throws himself into problems fist first, without any back up unless someone yanks him by the scruff and forces him to look at it. Usually that's you, sometimes it's Ruggie or Leona, but in the past it was you. He knows he can't keep himself from you, even if that could make you safer. Unlike the first timeline, he makes sure to introduce himself as early as possible, makes sure to be with you for every overblot. You might find it annoying but he'll push you to train just enough so that you'll have the speed to run when the final monster comes. Maybe this time, he'll be strong enough to kill it before it catches up to you.

Epel

Sleep Kiss cannot put you to sleep forever. Yet. Yes yet, Malleus isn't the only one who thinks letting you nap forever is a good idea. Great minds think alike, and unlike Malleus's, Epel has an added bonus. He can encase you in a glass cage that is literally meant to protect you from anything that wants to hurt you. Not that you would ever expect this plan from Epel. He's cute, kind, non-threatening when you're paying attention, the most you see of his temper as the loops continue is the slightly bratty glare he focuses on pre-overblot housewardens. And the headmage, but hey any anger at him always gets a pass from him. Not that you need to worry about that, once Epel masters his spell you won't have to worry about anything. He does wonder if you'll be able to dream, the first time he cast his spell on you it was like you didn't realize anything had happened at all. Maybe he won't tell you anything, maybe he'll wake you up every once and a while to convince you that you were never asleep at all. But that's not a concern for now, all you need to do is close your eyes and sleep. Sleep and wait for your Prince to return from the war.

Sebek

Following the current timeline, events aside, Sebek is on the outside of your friend group. No one likes him, he can't sit with you. The only real reason Sebek has to pay attention to you is because Malleus does. And he has to admit he doesn't exactly hate what he sees, he just- doesn't want to give credit to a human. When time is re-set though, he goes out of his way to befriend you, convinced he needs to keep an eye on you to save his lord. After all, how could he not find it suspicious that Malleus befriends some random human from not-Twisted Wonderland and then suddenly overblots? He is ready to strike at the first sign of betrayal, but he does not find it. He finds a human, weak and flawed, but paitent and kind with him, unwilling to let him talk down to them but still willing to talk. You die, but you never stop trying. You refuse to let the flaws he picks at stop you from trying to live. You refuse, no matter how many times he yells about the amount of times he has lost his lord, lost you, to let him do all the work alone. There is beauty in your struggle, in your life. He can't betray this for his lord, even if it was the cause of his plight. It's Silver he turns to for help, begging him for guidance through tears as he desperately clings to you. He finds it of course, he never had to do any of this alone, but he should know by now that doesn't guarantee success, no matter how much he wants it to.
