Hello, I see your ask box open! Can I ask for the Yandere Alphabet for Pairo (from HunterxHunter), Natsume Soseki, Fukuzawa Yukichi, Mori Ogai (from Bungo Strays Dog), Eto Yoshimura and Nagachika Hideyoshi (from Tokyo Ghoul)?

Earnest-How intense and dangerous are they really?

🟡​Hide is a rather carefree and jolly individual and not only for show. From the cast of Tokyo Ghoul he's probably one of the most harmless as he has neither some deep trauma nor is he really possessive, sadistic or manipulative. What would be the scariest thing about him is probably his determination. If Hide sets his mind to something you better bet your arse that he'll do everything to reach the goal in his mind. The relationship he desires is from the point that he realizes his obsession his one and only desire and he'll do everything to eventually achieve this. What's also remarkable to note is that Hideyoshi is in for the long game if needed. Underneath that outgoing personality is a very smart observer and thinker which might make it easy for you to overlook that Hide is more of a meticulous planner that he may let on.

Ideals-What do they have in mind for the future?

🟡​Even with his long-term plans always in the back of his mind, Hide is more of a simple guy when it comes to the wishes for the future. He just wants to be happy with his darling and be with them until death tears the both of you apart. He doesn't put a lot of emphasis on marriage until the both of you are in your late twenties because he doesn't cave in easily to social pressure. If he can just see you laughing and smiling for the rest of your lives and know that he's the reason behind your happiness, he wouldn't ask for more. That is his goal from the very beginning and what is admirable is that it always stays his goal even with everything that happens to him throughout the years.

Mask-Do they change their behavior after falling in love with their darling? Do they act differently around them than around other people?

🟡​He's not changing his attitude around you as soon as he comes to realize his own feelings. He's always been a ball of sunshine around you. What does change though is the frequency he ends up seeing you afterwards. He suddenly starts popping up around you a lot more than what you'd consider coincidence and he does so because he is aware of his own feelings now. Yet the happy grin he always offers you and he encourages you a lot. At the same time he becomes more observant though as he has a bit of an obsessive streak going on. He's going to get your phone number now and you better answer his calls and messages within a certain amount of times or he'll get worried. Hideyoshi takes the behavior he shows everyone but increases it overall when he's now around you.

🟡As already mentioned, Hide shows every person he meets the same carefree and happy attitude. So there isn't a very gravid difference in how he acts around others and how he acts around his darling. It's just that around his darling he's just a tad bit more of all the things he usually is already. Just a bit more happier around you. Just a bit more prone to worry for you than for others. Hideyoshi is awfully social so perhaps it's good that he is so open, eager and funny when he interacts with others and takes you out on dates.​ As his crush obsession you get the special treatment from him obviously. The thing is that it doesn't look that strange to others because his tendencies are just very subtle in comparison to his friend.

Voice-If their darling asks them for something, would they give it to them? How much do they do in general for them?

🟡​Short answer would be yes. I see Hideyoshi as the guy who would in general do a lot for his darling. This includes spoiling them too because he has a case of lovesick infatuation at times. The poor guy has troubles saying no to his darling because puppy eyes and a bit of begging normally always manage to crack his weak determination to not give in to you so easily. Perhaps he has never really planned on ever denying you too much anyways. He's even putting in a lot of effort which brings us back to his previously mentioned determination. You want something? He'll make sure to get it for you and if he has to run through all of Tokyo to get you what you want. Just reward him with a smile and a kiss and all of it will be worth it.

🟡​Honestly, Hideyoshi does a lot for his darling. Not only will he always do his best to get his hands on whatever they ask him to fetch for them, he also does a lot of other things. He's probably the guy who buys you once a week a bouquet of flowers and lots of other small stuff like keychains and snacks but he also is the one who plans a lot of dates. He's just bubbling over with cool ideas he wants the both of you to try. From a very unique café in this area of Tokyo to a special restaurant on the other side of Tokyo to visiting Tokyo Tower together, to what else he can find. You get the idea that he just loves going outside with his s/o a lot and do funny and cool activities with them. He's working hard to be able to afford all of the needed money to visit each and every place he has in mind too, all in hopes of giving you a good time and something to remember fondly later on.

Eto Yoshimura

Earnest-How intense and dangerous are they really?

🟩Eto is an 11 out of 10 if I'd have to give her a scale. Eto's darling is screwed because she's without a doubt one of the worst Yandere one could have. She's terribly sadistic, will definitely indulge in you every once in a while by biting you and taking bits of flesh from you and her sharp intuitions makes it very easy to torment you mentally and physically and she enjoys every second of it. Differently from people like Tsukiyama she never goes through an emotional change either as you're always perceived as a precious toy and plaything for her and she'll never stop seeing you as anything else. Eto has a hobby of playing mind games with you too which means that on certain days she might be a lot more nicer to you to lull you into a false sense of security only to crush you and torture you within the next minute. It messes with your mentality and she enjoys seeing you walking on eggshells around her, always paranoid when she'll snap again. Your fear is adorable~

Ideals-What do they have in mind for the future?

​🟩​You can't expect anything much from her as the future she envisions is pretty much everything she's doing with you already. You're an object and a possession so you'll be kept until she's either tired of you or you die. Honestly, Eto expects to grow tired of you but even after you've been severely broken by her games and torture, she still kind of wants to keep you around. It's utterly fascinating to her to feel that deeply for someone but she's keeping you all the more for that. She'll never let you go, she'll never let you die on her either. Your life is hers so she decides everything that's happening to you. Even when it's time for you to die and considering her twisted attachment, she doesn't plan to let you slip through her fingers anytime soon.

🟩​I'd say the shift in personalities would be the most jarring if you're human and knew her in her human identity as Sen Takatsuki. As Sen she's clumsy and her mind is all over the place which makes her seem as a really forgetful individual. She'd use that to her advantage though, luring you to her under the mask of being a playful although ditzy person only to pull the rug from under your feet as soon as she has you where she wants to have you. Because that's when she exposes her true colours to you and she has to say, the look of shock, fear and betrayal doesn't disappoint her in the slightest bit. That makes it all the more interesting to watch your reactions when she suddenly switches back to acting like Sen around you, to crush your hope and your willpower like this over and over again.

🟩​Under her human disguise she treats everyone the same who is unaware of her true identity. Even then her interest in you would spike though and she'd approach you with an almost cat-like curiosity. Behind the scenes she would already make sure to have other ghouls who she has manipulated to do her bidding follow you around and stalk you so that she can run into you more. Maybe the only advantage you have over other humans and even ghouls is that she would never mercilessly slaughter you. On the other hand, you're subjected to never-ending torture so perhaps you still have it worse. You're always going to be the one person she'd never get rid off as every other person is always someone she can and will slaughter if they would prove to be more useful dead than alive. That's a curse more than a blessing though as you're forever subjected to her twisted affection.

🟩Perhaps if you really beg for it, but even then there's no guarantee for her to do such a nice thing for you. You see, whilst you knew her as Sen small presents to court you weren't even that uncommon but it wasn't down out of chivalrous motives or even to fully capture your heart but merely to play with you to get you more comfortable around her. As Eto it isn't very likely for her to listen much to you at all. She does enjoy seeing you miserable and in agony so sometimes she might promise to consider a plead from you if you groval at her feet and beg enough. If you manage to amuse her enough, she might fulfill you a small request or two but it comes with the price of throwing away your pride and honor. Well, what can she say? Seeing you all pathetic and humiliated is such a cute sight to behold.​

🟩​To ensure that she can always enjoy seeing you put on such a miserable show of sobs and pleads in front of her, Eto can be exceptionally cruel. Normally you get the bare minimum to survive somewhat but it's never really enough to make you happy. Even bare necessities like water, food and even hygiene are kept low that it is never enough to fulfill you. If you want more, you always have to ask her for permission. Sometimes she's even cruel enough to deny you even that entirely unless you do exactly as she says. She's always exploring and using you for her own fun and your own thoughts and feelings are rarely considered.

Fukuzawa Yukichi

Earnest-How intense and dangerous are they really?

⚪​I'd say that his darling is on a safer side because Fukuzawa actually acts like his age. He's fairly calm and composed and rarely someone who would let feelings interfere with his judgement. You're lucky to get a lucid man who is capable of feeling ashamed of his feelings. That aside though, the most problems this man will give you are all connected to his very protective tendencies. He's probably just a tiny bit paranoid because he's the president of the Armed Detective Agency but he won't interfere too much with your personal life unless something happens. The problem comes when something happens though because you'll quickly discover that he's not taking any risks when it comes to your safety. Suddenly the composed and calm man has this almost oppressing aura that makes him intimidating and leaves no room for arguments. Whilst I wouldn't label him as someone who would abuse his power, it's also worth mentioning that he can twist and bend the law a bit when he would deem it as necessary.

Ideals-What do they have in mind for the future?

⚪​He has a very classic idea of the future when it comes to his s/o. A marriage is 100% included in there, a really traditional one at that. He'd wait a few years before proposing though in order to work as much initial arguments out as possible in order to settle down peacefully with his darling later on. He wouldn't wait as long as Kunikida would though because I do think he might feel a bit pressured since he's already in his forties and not the youngest anymore. Otherwise he wouldn't have too many demands for the future, he just wants to protect and cherish his darling as much as he can. He's satisfied with the simple things in life with his s/o.

Mask-Do they change their behavior after falling in love with their darling? Do they act differently around them than around other people?

⚪He's trying to hide his feelings after he has realized his obsession with you. The reason for that is his inevitable feeling of shame and guilt so he tries to treat you like he treats his co-workers. With respect and patience but his normally so impeccable composure just crumbles around you slowly but surely. His eyes always peek over to you when you're close to him, if you touch him in any way he tenses up ever so slightly and in the worst case you elicit the hint of a pink blush out of him. Ultimately he's trying but failing to hide his growing feelings for you. Eventually you find Fukuzawa actually being the one who goes out of his way to engage in interactions with you as he suddenly seems to want to socialize with you a lot more than what you would have expected from a normally more reserved man as him.

​⚪The president of the Agency tries to keep it as subtle as possible but there's no denying it. If anyone would just observe him closely, they'd notice the differences before he decides to come as clean with his feelings as he is. One thing is the already mentioned awkwardness around you. He becomes more hyper-aware around you and more mindful of his words and actions, careful to keep his dignity intact in front of you. He doesn't want to embarrass himself even the slightest in front of you. Fukuzawa has also a staring problem around you and he doesn't even notice that until someone points it out to him. It isn't to the point where it's creepy but it's enough to be noticable for his subordinates. I do think in your presence he's trying to not come over as too stern and strict which is why people like Ranpo and Dazai often end up keeping you around if they want the president to not scold them in any way or form.

Voice-If their darling asks them for something, would they give it to them? How much do they do in general for them?

​⚪I'd say that it depends on what you ask him. Whilst Fukuzawa is someone who will always listen to what his darling has to say and listen to their opinions unless he's really on the brink of an emotional breakdown, he isn't someone who coddles and spoils his s/o actively. He sees a relationship as something where both parts give and take equally in their own ways to show that they appreciate each other. Considering that your comfort is really important to him, especially if you'd ask him for something because otherwise you'd be uncomfortable would he be very quick to try to soothe your unease. Small favors such as buying groceries or fixing something that has broken are also always things you can ask him to do and be sure that he will do it for you within the same day.

⚪Fukuzawa always makes sure to do enough for you to let you know that he cherishes you and loves you. It isn't to the point where it would overwhelm you or where he would carelessly buy everything for you but it is enough to let you know everyday that he adores you. Yukichi just cares a lot for your safety and your comfort, especially since he is aware of the risks that you're in due to being his significant other. A lot of people hold a grudge against the ADA and would want to see their downfall and you'd be the easiest target for them since you're his lover, especially if you possess no special gift. He might also have days where he is very busy in the Agency when something is going on. He doesn't spend much time with you during such times and tries to make it up to you afterwards. He feels a bit guilty for ignoring you for a bit even when he knows that you're not angry with him. You know how hard he works for the safety of the city after all.

Mori Ougai

​​Earnest-How intense and dangerous are they really?

🍷​I'd wager that you would not want to end up as Mori's darling. Looking on how he's an experienced and cruel mafioso who just happens to be the boss too, any chance of escaping are very little. Mori has connections and subordinates all over the city and isn't afraid to break the rules and the law if he needs to do so which implies that he might just wreck a bit of havoc if you should ever do something as stupid as trying to escape or hide from him. The possibilites don't even end there which is even more terrifying because just like Fyodor, Mori isn't worried about personally messing with your life so that you have no choice but to rely on him if you don't want to learn how to survive on the streets. Considering that he can act very sappy around his darling, you sometimes forget who you have in front of you and whilst Mori is a fan of a bit of spunk in his darling, if you underestimate him and act up a bit too much, you'll be very quickly reminded just how dangerous this man really is.

Ideals-What do they have in mind for the future?

🍷Oh~He just wants to keep you for the rest of his life with him. After all the mafioso adores you in a very twisted and sick way​ and could never imagine not having you always right by his side. And that is really all that he desires for the future. To always have his sweet and gorgeous doll by his side so he can coddle, spoil and dote on them all he wants. He doesn't need your consent for any of that and to your great annoyance you discover that he actually adores it when you act a bit more spicy. He enjoys if you have a bit of fire inside of you. He can act uncannily excited around you when he demands you to put on the pretty clothes he bought for you or simply has you on his laps and dotes on you. It's so creepy when he acts like this.

🍷​If you meet him anywhere in public, it's very likely that you'll let yourself get fooled by his clumsy and worried exterior just like Atsushi. Who can blame you though, Mori is good in making himself appear like a goofy and sappy man when he's not currently acting as the boss of the Port Mafia. Yet even whilst he keeps you from being warily around him in his disguise, the difference in his behavior is still fairly obvious. Suddenly he is so clingy when he's with you and tries to delay your departure from him and Elise as much as possible, insisting that you accept the presents he buys you and begging you try on the clothes he bought you and wear them the next time you two meet. Even after the truth has been revealed, will he not stop acting like a clingy and sappy fool when with you. Now it's turned up to the point where it unsettles you and now you also know better than take him for a bit of a goofy idiot. You've seen what evilness hides under that pout.

🍷​It's pretty obvious but you get the Elise treatment from him but just a bit more intense than that. Around everyone else who knows him Mori is always in his role as the boss of the Port Mafia but only around Elise and you, especially around you, does he relapse. As soon as you're around, he can never fully resist to falter and keep his hands to himself. He always wants to touch you in some way when you're around and always has to dote on you somehow when you're with him. It's not something Mori seems to be able to stop himself from doing so even under the eyes of other members of the Port Mafia will he act like a sappy idiot which probably disturbs some whilst it annoys others. He never loses his face though because everyone knows just what he's capable of.

Voice-If their darling asks them for something, would they give it to them? How much do they do in general for them?

🍷​Just ask him for something and Mori will give you anything. He's showering you with everything one could ask for and even more. He's undeniably down bad for his darling and if they pout and beg a bit he literally can't stop himself. If you're acting all cute and mad when you want something, he's always cooing over you and your cuteness. It's a bit embarrassing and I'm sure Kouyou has scolded him quite a bit for his weak will when it comes to you. Sometimes Mori is being a bit mean though and denies you something you want on purpose for the sole reason for seeing you acting a bit mad and throwing a small tantrum. It's just adorable to watch you being upset and angry but don't worry, he'll stop teasing you soon and make it up to you. You can get anything from food to jewels to clothes from him as long as you know how to make his heart melt. Just don't expect him to ever give you your freedom back.

🍷​You know what? You don't even have to ask him really for any material stuff because most of the time, if not even all of the time, Mori does this on his own free will. He buys you everyday something and most of the time those gifts of his are cute clothes with all sorts of ribbons and adornments on them. Your life is basically that of a human-sized doll as you often feel like he's playing dollhouse with you and Elise and he loves every second of it. When it comes to the question of Mori doing much for you, in a way he does much for you if you let his excessive spoiling count. Unfortunately he does this without you even wanting it as he ultimately just does it for his own pleasure.

I had always been curious about it bc I followed the person I got my walkthroughs at the time on twitter and they would always go on and on about Masamune as that was their husbando ( I believe they had him as their wait screen whenever they used to stream on twitch.) And had pretty much exhausted what I could do in MysMe at the time (this was before V and Saeran had gotten routes) and I was starting to grow bored of it as I was basically only doing login bonuses at that point and not much else, so I decided to give IkeSen a try.

That was around the end of April 2018 and I've been playing it ever since. Nobunaga was my route as at the time, I was on a kick for playing routes that I didn't think I'd like based on first impressions. And with Nobu's strong personality from the beginning, I didn't think I was gonna like the guy as I already had a good impression of Masa via the walkthrough maker at the time and I didn't know anything about anyone else at time, so Nobu was up for the chopping block to see if I would like this game or not.

And, admittedly, Nobu and IkeSen won me over with time. He's even in like my top 5 for IkeSen suitors even after these years. I've enjoyed my time with IkeSen and I hope to still enjoy it for as long as it's around.

This is just a fun little thing I decided to do because of how much knowledge I have of some characters and I love sharing. Some of these are pretty obvious, not all the characters will be here so if you want to add the facts you know that aren’t here, feel free to do so!

Fun little facts about the warlords.

Oda forces.

Nobunaga Oda.

Whenever he goes out to get Konpeito from the kitchen, he wears a hood on his head to try and disguise himself.

He treats bearsace as a sacred artifact, on one event a kid asks if they can play with bearsace and he just said no because it was important to him.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi has a group of lady friends with whom he has tea with, they admire him and definitely have a crush, but they are more like friends.

Hideyoshi isn’t fond of sweets, but he doesn’t mind eating them if it’s with someone special.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

He studies medicine and treats many people, but he is better as a veterinarian as he treats harmed animals, even if he doesn’t admit it.

He likes hot sauce to a dangerous degree, it’s never hot enough for him.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

It has been said that, the reason why he he eats food all mixed up in a weird way is because he can’t taste it.

In one audio drama, mitsuhide purposely competed with Hideyoshi for the right hand man position just so that Hideyoshi realized how much he deserves that position. (He also cooked for Nobunaga and was proud of his monstrosity.

Mitsunari Ishida.

He is the only one who has ever come close to beating Nobunaga in Go, which shows how smart he is.

Even though they have completely different personalities, Mitsunari and Mitsuhide are often studying together, they both are like the Mitsu duo. They also have eating problems. Mitsuhide because of how he mixes food badly and Mitsunari because he just forgets to eat while studying.

Masamune Date.

In one audio drama, Masamune challenges shingen when they see each other at the market in azuchi, but when shingen suggests they eat before fighting, masamune decides to take over the kitchen to cook for them both.

In another audio drama, focusing on the characters “Yandere” characteristics, masamune showed to fit the role surprisingly well.

Ranmaru Mori.

In an audio drama, Ranmaru revealed to be very skilled with acting. More specifically, he knows how to pretend to be a girl very well. His voice actor was able to imitate a feminine voice pretty well.

Uesugi-Takeda alliance.

Kenshin Uesugi.

Kenshin saved three bunnies’ lives by simply saying he didn’t feel like eating rabbit soup, and since then those three bunnies keep following him while multiplying.

There is a version of ikemen sengoku that was only released in Japan, on the PS vita. Only a few selected characters were chosen to have routes on it and kenshin is one of them. On it, there is a piece of story where kenshin goes into the future and manages to control a mafia group. (I don’t know Japanese, so I don’t know how accurate this is, but there are cgs of him in a modern attire from the ps vita game).

Shingen Takeda.

There are many things that could be said about him, but one of my favorites is the fact that shingen is one of the few characters that actually swear in the game.

During an audio drama, he reveals that he likes when a girl ties her hair when entering the hot springs, mostly because he likes seeing the nape of their neck getting flushed.

Just an extra one because I love him, shingen has shown that he likes when people, regardless of them being women or men, compliment him. During the event “the art of seduction” where he teaches the other warlords how to flirt, he seems to appreciate when Mitsunari compliments him as a teacher.

Yukimura Sanada.

Yukimura had a different voice actor the start of the game, but he was changed. You can still see his previous voice actor voicing him in the audio drama he is in with Shingen and Yoshimoto.

He has a hard time finding what to talk about with Yoshimoto, to the point where he starts talking about spears and which ones are his preference, Yoshimoto finds the subject boring.

Yoshimoto Imagawa.

Yoshimoto is part of the few characters that were featured in the Ps vita, meaning he had a route out way before it was released in the original game.

I don’t know Japanese and never managed to find a translation for his route in the ps vita version, but there are cgs of him with Mc in the modern era.

Sasuke.

Sasuke was also featured in the audio drama with kenshin and Masamune about the Yandere concept, and was actually spooked by how good he is at that role.

Lone forces.

Motonari Mouri.

Motonari is fluent in many languages, including Portuguese (my first language is Portuguese, so it’s funny seeing him speak in Portuguese sometimes)

He wasn’t in any audio drama, but was first featured in the ikemen sengoku anime.

Kennyo.

Kennyo naturally attracts wild animals because of the energy he has, they seem to sense that Kennyo is a good person.

Kennyo has acted as a father for Ranmaru since he was a child, which would explain why Ranmaru is so dedicated towards Kennyo.

I'm mostly familiar with Ikemen Sengoku, Revolution, Vampire, and Prince, but I'll include some Genjiden, Live, and Villains when applicable.

Note on the distinction: R18 in this case is when you can hear the characters climax (voice actors use pseudonyms for these); some drama CDs are nsfw, but they cut off before the climax, so R15? R16? (voice actors use their real names here); sfw are just kissing, nothing spicy (VA real names).

Uesugi Kenshin (VA: Miura Hiroaki): I am averse to yandere characters, but in this one he did, he's a tsundere. NOW I LIKE KENSHIN BY ASSOCIATION. Miura's drama cd is one of my favorites, sad but romantic.

Naoe Kanetsugu (VA: Nakagawa Akinori): None. I don't know if he's done sfw ones, but I'd be willing to listen to them, just so I can add more Kanetsugu voice reference lol

Kennyo (VA: Shingaki Tarusuke): Hehe. Hehehehe. Heh. It's been a while, I want to hear him again. Especially when he whispers against my ear amidst a packed train. I also liked his cute and flustered daycare employee cd. HA. SE. BAE.

This game is, like, the treasure trove of R18 voice actors. 13 out of 17 have done at least one R18 drama cd. Well done, IkeRev!

Lancelot Kingsley (VA: Okamoto Nobuhiko): None, sfw only. He usually uses his cute voice for these CDs.

Jonah Clemence (VA: Hanae Natsuki): Yes, early on. I think he stopped after he married. Listened to two of his CDs, his voice is too soft for my tastes. He does good moaning and whining.

Zero (VA: Kumagai Kentarou): MY LOVE, MY CURRENT OBSESSION. He does desperate, drugged out, and angry-at-life so well. His moans and kisses are 💯 I prefer his boyishly youthful voice than his deeper one. When he hits that high-pitched whine *chef's kiss* He comes so prettily *dreamy sigh*

Kyle Ash (VA: Furukawa Makoto): What a man, what a voice. Personally I liked his earlier works because there were more variety in the plots and characters, but I think he works best with plotty CDs and/or emotional drama. Rouge et Noir comes to mind; REUNION for the drama. I enjoy the CDs where his voice is cooler, not too high-pitched, not too deep. He sighs when he kisses, and it sounds divine.

Ray Blackwell (VA: Shimono Hiro): He did a few early in the r18 drama cd years. I remember the one where he was a yandere butler. It was also a mobile game, but I didn't know which came first (I think the game). There was also that teacher x student cd. He also did Wasurenagusa as Todo Heisuke iirc.

Sirius Oswald (VA: Suwabe Junichi): None. This man was born with a velvet voice bUT FOR WHAT

Luka Clemence (VA: Enoki Junya): He has a recognizable voice (makes me think of aluminium idkw). He did an angsty incest one and a servant to a lady one. They're okay. His orgasms need more work, though.

Fenrir Godspeed (VA: Kakihara Tetsuya): Semi-active. My fave is the one where he's childhood friends with the MC and has a badboy/playboy rep but he's actually a virgin I think, or at least acts like a blushing maiden when he did it with the MC (who takes control of the sex). He's vocal in this one; he cried at one point because he came prematurely. It's funny and I love it.

Seth Hyde (VA: Murata Taishi): PLEASE. PLEASE LISTEN TO KOIBITO VS NIJIGEN VOL 1. HE'S JEALOUS OF MC'S OSHI LMAO IT'S SO META AND HILARIOUS I LOVE IT.

Harr Silver (VA: Terashima Junta): I'll buy any r18 cd this man makes, period.

Loki Genetta (VA: Murase Ayumu): He did one. Like Hanae, his voice is too soft for my taste. He did, however, once choked on a candy trying to emulate blowjob noises for a BLCD, I don't know what else to tell you.

A CONFESSION: I listened to his drama cds when I was writing That Comte Fic in order to capture the mood of the sexual tension.

Sebastian (VA: Morishima Shuta): None. After watching him in Cybird events, I'd probably laugh at him or pity him. I can no longer imagine him doing R18 based on his Cybird hyper host image.

Nasu no Yoichi (VA: Suzuki Ryouta): I know he did some before, heard a couple of his. Could've been better. (Tbf, this was during the time when R18 drama CDs were just starting out. So I think many key players were new to it, compared with BLCD.)

Kurama (VA: Morikawa Toshiyuki): I can't have Sephiroth whispering in my ear lol. That aside, I really couldn't imagine him doing R18 because he's known to voice iconic characters. And yet here we are. His Yamazaki Susumu in Wasurenagusa took me out because of his drunk line, "Nyaruhodo." I will never look at Sephiroth the same way again lmao. But yeah, I haven't listened to his works properly because they were made years ago.

Kitsuji Sueharu (VA: Komatsu Shohei): MY NEW FAVE, MY NEW LOVE, MY NEW OBSESSION OH MY GOD?! I haven't bought any of his works (WHICH I SHOULD REMEDY IN THE FUTURE) but from the sample of this one CD I – I JUST. H-He's good. I love the sound of his panting 😭

IkeSen Routes completed:

Shingen: romantic | dramatic (not my type but damn I'd be lying if I say I didn't fall for him in his routes)

Nobunaga: romantic | dramatic (rather have you as an older brother figure, but you sure can be fun). sign me up for a late-night konpeito heist.

Sasuke: Romantic & Dramatic (routes SUPER fun. Guy's also super fun). Preferance: dramatic. Side story for both full love bonus is awesome!

Mitsunari: Romantic (the incomparable angel)

Keiji: Romantic (feeling: complicated. Sometimes I hate him, other times I like him well enough. His route is different but in a good way I guess?)

Kenshin: Romantic, Dramatic. (was worried but I think I like MC in his route. Ngl did fall for him despite his yandere-ing. Although, it's probably because I expected worse). Prefer his romantic cause we get to see them all plotting to bring him back, Mai as the Goddess of War. Ah, that was such a cool scene.

Motonari: Dramatic | Romantic (boy is he wild. But nope, not my thing - looks hot tho). I surprised myself by finishing both his routes this early hahah. Liked him much better on my 2nd gameplay but gosh will I always dislike that first couple of chapters.

Hideyoshi: Romantic | Dramatic (an extremely much needed break after the prev 3 guys. Worried I would dislike his route. But I love it. Him too. Very much. Fav parts: MC saying she will not send him a letter & her threatening Mitsuhide)

Ieyasu: Dramatic | Romantic Annnd that's my first Ieyasu route completed (dramatic). Enjoyed it more than I expected since Tsunderes aren't my thing, I was worried that I would've dislike his route but it turns out alright. I am a little sad that there weren't much of Sasuke fanboying moments but yeah overall things are still fine. Not sure yet how it goes in my ranking of routes I've done tho. Romatic: i've left it too long between reading and writing this.. so I'm sorry but I really forgot how things go. BUT. I think I enjoyed dramatic more.

Yoshimoto: Romantic (very dramatic. And it's not even the dramatic route. I love it.)

Yukimura: Dramatic | Dramatic (sometimes, you need to get yourself an awkward, tactless, yet super sweet guy who'll chase after you and call you dummy. Not fav LI but my 2nd fav route to play).

Mitsuhide: romantic. ohoho. I am warming up to this guy.

Kanetsugu: dramatic | romantic. His smile. His SMILE. I melt every time. Both routes were awesome! But I'll pick dramatic over romantic cause of that one Azuchi mother hen-ing scene 😂

Kennyo: Dramatic. That was pretty good actually.

IkeVamp Routes completed:

Leonardo: romantic | dramatic (is he the sweetest guy ever or is there someone who competes for this position?)

Vlad: dramatic (quite the bittersweet route. I love him)

Jean: romantic (boy be breaking my heart with his story. Extra love given to this man.)

Napoleon: dramatic. A lovely, lighter, more humorous read (compared to previous two).

Isaac: dramatic & romantic (adorable 100%. Need I say more?)

Dazai: romantic (thoughts tbc)

Faust: dramatic. Welp, this is one dramatic, red-flagged guy. Kidnapping, threats, dubious consent (?). Then again, it's pretty much expected/we've been warned. I donno but I was quite excited about playing his route but now that I've finished it.. I donno. I thought I would've enjoyed it more maybe? (This is why expectations are dangerous). I like the drama esp that beginning and learning about his softer sides especially with his interactions with the orphanage children (I love these scenes) but, I'm feeling like there's something.. missing. Maybe it's just me these past month because it has been a very busy, full of change month for me outside of my otome games. Im just here trying to divide my braincell for everything 🙃 . I'll replay his route once I'm properly settled in.

Arthur: Romantic. I love his route, how complicated things are between him and his past and him and Emma. With their very rocky start, how the comes to be be friends and their feelings, all to aware that both could not hope to fall in love with the other. Despite the complications, things aren't messy (I'm not refering to how Arthur himself's a mess). I think the route's written quite well, and it really does messes with your feelings (I like routes that gives me strong feelings, good and bad)

Theo: Romantic. Love how he's so insistent at going to the future for MC. I haven't seen any in Sengoku (not incl sasuke cause he future person) or other Vampire suitors yet that offers to do so. Overall, I enjoyed his route. I wish there were more..

Shakespeare: Dramatic. It's awesome.

Charles: Romantic. Ugly-crying almost the whole time. Is it my hormones? Is it purely Charles? I'll never truly know. But I love his route, though I'll never forgive cybird for that one chapter for toying with my emotions like that.

Vincent: Dramatic. Pretty lovely. It has that pure, gentle feeling like the man himself. Oh but I didn't think I would hate Shakespeare as much as I did in this route. Well, it's for the plot after all.

Comte: it was a fun ride. Got so many new dresses 😌

Interlude: very enjoyable. Nice seeing lots of friendship/family dynamics and more of everyone

IkeVill routes completed:

William Rex: Mad love - I like the story. Warming up to the game and concepts. Guy wise, it's kinda hard to get a proper sense of him through translation apps but I might put him on my like-as-friends or neutral acquaintance group.

Liam Evans: Both Ends - my fav being Blind End. best boy 😭 the sweetest man I could ever ask for. But oh the pain, the hurt, the tragic backstories. The amount of times I cried.

Harrison Gray: Blind Love - did a speed run through so can't remember much right now since I am updating this like after finishing a whole different route later. But. I remember thinking that it gives the most adventurous feeling between the others I've played.

Elbert Greetia: Mad Love - Quite enjoyed the route, though El's back story was disturbing. Love the whole El, Al, and Kate relationship side of things.

Koihana Bakumeiroku

Hijikata - First route I've ever finished and well, there were parts I was confused about but did figured out in other routes I have not finished playing yet (Kido and Katsu). I liked it.

My theory for who would be responsible is either Kanon, getting revenge on the family for how Kinzo treated him and Shannon as objects while piecing together that Shannon accepted George’s proposal and went all Yandere. Or Eva and Hideyoshi in some fucked attempt at monopolizing the fortune.

Other theories include Kinzo or Maria if Beatrice IS real and just possesses her to try and fuck with people.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi is used to have fans (more life friends, most of which are ladies) but he never had someone obsessed over him like this. He would feel flustered and wonder why you were so interested in him.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Great, another one. Ieyasu had to deal with Sasuke and Mitsunari liking him a lot, being obsessed over him. Now he has a new admirer. Ieyasu will be annoyed, but he also won’t push you away.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Hoh? He will be interested, mostly because at first he will think that you are a spy. Even if it’s revealed that you just like him a lot, Mitsuhide will like teasing you. “What’s this? A little mouse following after a fox? How amusing.”

Masamune Date.

Well, he does like the attention. Though Masamune will purposely tease you by disappearing out of sight only to appear behind you to give you a little scare.

Mitsunari Ishida.

He… probably won’t notice you, Mitsunari can be very smart, but also dense towards certain things. Others will naturally notice your obsession over him, except for Mitsunari himself.

Keiji.

He won’t like it that much, if you want to talk, be more upfront with him. No need to hide while following him around. He will notice you every time.

Ranmaru Mori.

Ranmaru is a ninja, so it’s no wonder he found out about you. Though he will find it cute and not mention that he found out about your likeness towards him. Maybe in the future he will.

One, Shouko should have pushed the yandere trope to the extreme and just pulled out a gun and shot the hecklers Joker style, instead of being humiliated and then saved by Yuuji, in my opinion.

Two, since episode 3, Baka to Test has just become a slice of life gag anime and I am struggling to stay awake. I am beginning to think that the characters could never return to the school and nothing would change, really. Most of the jokes are now reiterations of the same bad points that have nothing to do with with the battle school system premise, it’s just:

Minami is flat and boyish and that’s funny because she’s a girl.

Himeji has huge boingy boingy bazingas but she can’t cook! How funny, she is so feminine but can’t cook. Every girl with big bouncy boobies should be good at cooking and cleaning.

Hideyoshi looks like a girl even though he’s a boy but we like him and it’s funny that we like him, because “normal” people would think he’s weird. But we’re outcast idiots whose ideas don’t align with the status quo, except when it comes to girls, who we agree should be feminine and docile, as per the status quo.

Gay people are soooo weird.

And once those jokes are gone through a few times, we might spend 4 minutes refraining from comedy to try to develop one of the characters for some reason. I can’t decide if I like this or not, since no one actually changes and the characters all seem to revert for the next episode, making it feel pointless. But on the other hand, it’s a break from the repetition where I get to see some sincerity come through, even though I know that after Minami’s bento episode I will still have to watch her be insulted by Akihisa from there on out. And I know that after Shouko’s wedding episode she will still, God willing, beat Yuuji within an inch of his life with a baseball bat, and his impression of her won’t soften at all after her bride moment.

I think this is all to say that I hate the insanely classist, totally nonsensical school system introduced in Baka to Test, but it offered some narrative structure that I am now missing as I watch these detestable characters wander around outside subjecting each other to their respective gags ad nauseam.

Nene:

1. While they pull off the Hideyoshi infidelity stuff as a joke, he doesn’t cheat on her in game canon, which makes her yandere persona even funnier. I remember a conversation in Empires 2 between Nene and Hideyoshi that she said she was going to break his arms and legs if he went after another woman, then in the Orochi series, Nene chases him throughout Orochi World so that he wouldn’t flirt with the goddesses or the DW cast. That being said, Nene’s a nice lady, I think her motherly persona is charming and cute

2. Well, Hideyoshi is her historically and canonical husband, but..that doesn’t mean that’s the only guy I like with her. At first, I thought I could get behind a Kiyomasa x Nene ship, but Kiyomasa is actually kinda creepy towards her, and a creep in general, so I pass on that one now. I thought she and Hanzo were pretty nice together...actually, what happens in Orochi Land stays in Orochi Land, she should have got with Sun Jian ;) 

3. Non-romantic OTP...hmm...her and Nouhime should interact more. I thought her and Bao Sanniang had a cute friendship in Orochi, same with Ayane and Sophitia, too. 

4. I imagine making Nene into a ninja when she was first revealed must have been a little strange at first; as she was known for being a nun, and the woman at Hideyoshi’s side. With the removal of Kunoichi in SW2, I guess Koei needed a female ninja and seeing that they wanted to go into Hideyoshi’s reign, it made sense to have his behind-the-scenes- wife as a ninja. Not just any ninja, but a ninja mom who hands out spankings like she hands out candy, I guess Dommy Mommy is a trope people like in Japan? Seeing that we would later get Aya and Zhang Chunhua as very domineering mothers (if I’m wrong with this, sorry, I’d love an explanation from the JP fans on this :) )

But I can’t really think of an answer too much for this one other than ^^
