❤️‍🔥​There are no words in the dictionary that could even begin to describe the pain he's going through as his red eyes can't tear themselves away from your burnt corpse, the sickening smell of burnt flesh invading his nostrils as his stomach is contracting, pushing his lunch slowly up until Benimaru feels a sour taste pushing at the back of his throat. He's dizzy and feels nauseous, hears his own heartbeat drumming agonizingly fast against his chest as the sound drowns out everything else around him. He doesn't notice how Konro gently puts a hand on his shoulder, how the twins start weeping when seeing your corpse or how the citzens of Asakusa form a crowd, shocked and sad as all of them knew that you were Benimaru's partner. Eventually the man stumbles back, seemingly in a trance as he makes his way past a worried Konro and all citizens, the image of your burnt body forever engraved into his brain, a testament to his failure. There's a slight sway to his steps, his legs feeling weak and fragile just like the rest of him. He barely makes it past a few houses before he stops and has to support himself, a numbing feeling taking over.

❤️‍🔥​You wake up with a startle from your horrific dream, your clothes sticking to your skin due to the sweat. There's a heavy weight surrounding you and it takes you a moment to realize that this weight is physical and not the aftermath of your terrifying dream. It's in fact your lover who has somehow managed to curl himself around you, arms wrapped around your waist and legs entangled with your own. His hold is tight like one of a constrictor snake and his skin is noticably hot. You feel more sweat start to arise on your body and you do your best to turn around as good as you can, flinching again when you see his red eyes already looking at you. For a while you just look at him and hope he'll understand what you want, when he instead just cuddles you even closer and puts his head in the crook of your neck, you realize he doesn't have any intentions to let you go in the foreseeable future. You have to slap his arm in the end and tell him that you want him to ease his hold and let you go so that you can go to the bathroom. He pounders over your wish for a while before he hesitantly lets you go. When you return from the bathroom, Benimaru is sitting, waiting for you.

❤️‍🔥​Now, you know that Benimaru has his clingy moments with you but something is just off with him today. He persistently follows you around the moment morning arrives and you stand up, laboriously that is as you have to fight his arms off. You feel like he's a little duckling, a muscular and very powerful duckling, but a clingy duckling nonetheless. It's almost slightly creepy as he hovers around you and doesn't allow you to leave his sight, he's even standing in front of the goddamn door leading to the bathroom as if fearing that something might happen. Obviously he doesn't mention it to you as he doesn't want you to worry but this nightmare has bothered him too much to act completely nonchalant. You don't see the reason to tell him about your nightmare either so both of you just attempt to go on with your daily routine as normal. Until both of you realize the familiar pattern in today and in the dream both of you had. Benimaru isn't necessarily superstitious but those are one too many similarities.

❤️‍🔥​Neither Konro nor the twins seem to know anything but what about you? Benimaru's eyes turn to you as he observes you to see if you perhaps know anything. Surely enough he sees cracks in your facade you try to put on as every little thing you remember from your dream puts your nerves more on edge. A confirmation for him, at the very latest when he doesn't pull his bluntless and asks you the same question that has been tormenting him since the earliest morning. Have you seen your own death today in your dreams? You can't hide the shock and silent fear on your face and the same silent horror resonates somewhere deep inside Benimaru's heart. But that's alright. This can be avoided if you simply stay at home today and don't go out. He hushes your protests quickly, not willing to hear any of them. Your life is far more important than any plans you could have had today. You find yourself feeling much more smothered with his presence even after the Infernal is taken care of as something inside Benimaru is slightly damaged. He's always known about dangers of Infernals but it's the first time that he's experienced the indescribable amount of pain of losing you because he wasn't fast enough.

Roy Mustang

​🔥​It is hard to put into words what's going on inside of Roy as he's informed about your death that happened during a terrible accident whilst he was working on some documents in his office. He just stares at whoever delivered the message to him for a good amount of time as the weight of those words take a while to penetrate his skin and sink in. When everything has finally settled, he suddenly stands abruptly up, his chair tumbling back and his hand banging onto the surface of the desk, sending a few documents flying as his gaze widens and his whole face twists into a horrified and frenzied mask. All his duties are forgotten as he storms out, ignores everyone who worriedly asks him what's wrong as he runs down the halls, headed to the scene where the accident happened. As soon as the location becomes visible to him, he's feeling nauseous. A carriage that lost a wheel went out of control and crashed into the pavement, hurting a couple of people. Riza accompanies him to the morgue later on for moral support as Roy is already shaking and breathing erratic. When he's shown your corpse, he instantly turns around, supports himself against the wall, sounds akin to a dying animal leaving his throat.

​🔥​Hot palms are clinging to you the moment you wake up from your all but pleasant dream, warm and troubled breath coming from next to you. When you turn around, you notice how Roy is visibly shaking next to you, feel his muscles tightening and trembling. When you touch his face, you feel beads of sweat covering his skin. He's having quite obviously a nightmare so you quickly start shaking him and calling his name quietly to wake him up. One of his hands grabs your wrist tightly as he's at first only half-awake, muttering something from it being your fault, whatever it might be. A few seconds later he snaps out of it though and realizes with shock what he's doing, quickly releases your wrist. Then he's shuffling closer to you, cradles your face gently in his hands and lets his eyes roam over you frantically as if in slight disbelief that you're even here. You're confused but don't say anything. Eventually Roy unwinds a bit, his body relaxing as he pulls you closer to him in a tight hold.

​🔥​Breakfast with him that morning is strange. As soon as you want to leave the room, he instantly questions you on where you plan to go and his eyes are a lot more on you than they normally are, carefully observing your every move as if afraid that something will happen to you otherwise. You know that he's had a nightmare and you assume that his behavior might be because of it but you did too and you're not acting like that. And you saw yourself dying after all. Even when you shortly go outside to retrieve the newspaper which is always delievered to your house by a kind boy, he wants to know what you're doing. You're already in the process of reading it when you return to the kitchen but you stop midway through the door frame, eyes glued to the contents of the paper. Instantly you catch Roy's attention who stands up from his chair and is next to your side with a few huge steps, questioning you worried what's wrong before his dark eyes also fly over tha article. His face loses all color in only a few seconds.

​🔥​Not because there are shocking news written on the paper, it's because everything written there is eerily familiar. He's read this very same newspaper before in his dream. On the day where you died. Roy is so much in shock and fear that it takes a few moments for him to notice but then it suddenly clicks and dark eyes slowly look at you, still transfixed on the newspaper with fear all over your face. Then you feel his intense gaze on you though and flinch, slowly and almost hesitantly meeting his eyes. You...why are you so scared? This isn't a secret you can keep away from him as he forces you to sit down and interrogates you almost, demanding you in a desperate tone to tell him the truth. You give in eventually and admit it to him and his face twists once again into an ugly mask of horror and paranoia. He's pacing back and forth in the kitchen for a while, distantly wondering about possibilities of having a prophetic dream or something similar to that before he abruptly stops and turns to you. You'll stay home. It isn't a request it's a demand he won't let you argue with, too consumed by his own paranoia of losing you. Roy becomes worse after that day, far more controlling and monopolizing.

Mizuki

​🐍​The scent of blood is overwhelming, the red liquid everywhere. It's staining the material of your clothes, your once beautifully bright eyes dull and empty and your mesmerizing and serene heartbeat forever silenced. Never again will he hear your gorgeous laughter or catch a glimpse of your mesmerizing smile. You might as well have just taken Mizuki with you to the afterlife as his heart dies together with the loss of you. The shikigami is a mess, covered in tears, snot and your blood as he sobs and cries with a loud and broken voice. He's forgotten how to breathe, his breath getting caught in his lungs, his chest moving rapidly and his vision blurry. His clothes and his white skin are stained with your blood as he clings to your dead body, desperately and uselessly hoping and begging to sense a heartbeat yet only terrifying silence engulfs the both of you. If you hear his wails in the distance, leave. Mizuki will attack and hurt everyone who dares to appraoch the two of you right now. He doesn't want to be alone, he can't do it alone! Oh...he knows! He'll just follow you! Yes! As soon as he's buried you somewhere around his shrine, he'll go with you! Your one and only loyal shikigami will go everywhere with you.

​🐍​The spirits in his shrine can only scurry away in horror as soon as Mizuki awakes from his slumber, livid, confused and above everything else in unbelievable pain. It's pulsing through his veins, it squeezes all air out of his lungs and claws at his heart to the point where he clutches his chest in pain. Green eyes are darting back and forth, glowing maliciously, his pupils mere slits. He's gazing at his hands and his outfit, as clean as ever with not even the slightest drop of blood on them. Mizuki knows better though than to brush it off, it's a feeling he has deep inside his bones and soul. This dream meant something, showed him something that will happen. Paranoia poisons his mind and heart quickly and in the next moment he's rushing outside the shrine, hissing at the spirits of the place to quickly finish the room he's been preparing for your arrival for a while now. It isn't finished yet but that's alright, he'll do it soon. First he has to retrieve you.

​🐍​You're largely minding your own business on that day, although that terrifying nightmare of yours is still haunting you. You've never had a dream as detailed and gory as this but you do your best to ignore it. You're not superstitious and do your best to be as stubborn as you can be to remain oblivious to every single similarity you notice to the nightmare you had. It can't be, it can't be, it can't be. A mandra you repeat as often as you can to convince yourself that nothing is wrong. Whilst you're on your way outside though, your attention is drawn to a white snake. You're slightly startled, take a few cautious steps back as it stares at you with it's eyes. You're unsure what it wants from you until you feel another one sliding up your leg. You shriek, try to pull it away only to notice with growing fear that even more snakes emerge from the bushes and inch closer to you. Within all of this you suddenly feel two hands wrapping themselves around you from behind, a voice whispering to you that everything will be fine.

​🐍​When you wake up, you're on a tatami mat and wrapped up in a cozy blanket. You're slightly confused of where you are before the image of white scales and green eyes return to you, the purr of a sickenly sweet voice before you passed out. When you abruptly sit up as it dawns on you that you've been abducted, you feel a sudden weight clinging to your form. As soon as you look down, you're met with white hair and piercing green eyes looking with an excited shimmer at you. Before you can scream, run away, do anything this man, the same one who abducted you, sits up with a thrilled and lovesick smile on his face. He's welcoming you in your new home, apologizes for the sudden events and promises you to get all your stuff as quickly as possible and to finish decorating the room to your liking soon. He's disturbingly indifferent about the fact that he kidnapped you. You manage to stutter out who he is and why you're here, a question that seems to trigger him somehow as you feel how he heaves himself up your body, closer and tighter, until his head is resting on the spot where he can feel your heartbeat. There were some dangers...but don't concern yourself about it. Your shikigami has already taken care of it.

Vanitas

🌙​The usually smug and flirtatious man is gone in an instant when he finds your dead body, another casualty in an attack of another curse-bearer. He only finds out after having saved them though, if he would have known beforehand he might have just refused to cure them. Blue eyes are filled with pure hatred and Noél fears that he might just attack the vampire he just saved, he certainly looks like it. His whole body is trembling, his breath is erratic and there is a frenzied look on his face akin to one of a murderer. Hatred is always the least painful emotion, the one which offers distraction from the pain and it oozes out of his entire being in that moment. This short freedom of pain and reality, of only hatred, lasts only a few moments though before it all collapses and reveals the broken man Vanitas has always been, only to be shattered even more. He kneels down next to the body of yours, takes you softly in his arms and bites down onto his lip until he tastes blood, trying his best to not cry. Nothing is gained though as salty tears fall from his eyelashes and silent sobs start wrecking his body as he starts gently rocking back and forth, clutching you tightly to his chest. You aren't supposed to leave him! Not like this!

🌙​As soon as he wakes, the world is spinning. Hot and cold shivers go down his spine, he feels beads of sweat dropping down his temple and his heartbeat goes frenzy inside his chest. He clutches his clothes resting right above his racing heartbeat, finds himself struggling to take a simple breath as his chest feels heavy. Everything feels wrong, everything feels scary and subconsciously as he isn't able to focus properly, one of his shaky hands makes his way over to you until it feels your warm body with his fingertips. Safe and sound, asleep right next to him. A sweet yet stinging sweetness that has his heart swelling as a wave of dolorous relief takes a hold of the man and he feels hot tears dripping down his face, muffled sobs escaping his lips as he does his best to not wake you up. He's too vulnerable, too helpless and ugly to allow you to let you see him right now, suffers all alone in silence until morning comes creeping around and you wake up.

🌙​You wake up to be greeted with the sight of a rarely vulnerable-looking Vanitas. He's asleep, appears to have snuggled deeper into the blanket as his head is resting close to your chest so that you're almost tempted to cradle his head. Eyelashes flutter open though to reveal magnificent blue eyes staring up to you and for a short moment you imagine to see a flash of pain and sorrow darkening them before they return to their normal sparkle, playful and willing to tease you. He can not under any circumstances let you know about his nightmare because he isn't a child anymore. He doesn't need to run to you as soon as he's had a nightmare to get your comfort. So he does his best to act as normal as he can, teases you to his heart's content. He's an waful lot more frightful though and terribly observing so neither the events of this day nor your own slowly changing mood are missed. He feels his lungs filling with paranoia when he draws the horrible conclusion.

🌙​Hands hold your face softly, a contrast to his fingertips digging into your cheeks as blue eyes have returned to the broken and maniac look you thought you'd only imagined before. You can't fully blame him though as you've recognized yourself what's going to happen today. You got in a bit of an argument with Vanitas about how to proceed though, leading you to this current position. You've never seen him so out of control, see the tears shimmering in his eyes and the tremors going through his body with the memory of the dream. He won't let it happen again though. You won't leave him all alone in this world. You, the only person around whom he doesn't hate himself as much as he normally does. You're scared of this Vanitas though as he's far too unpredictable, muttering more to himself than to you that he wil be prepared this time. The man has lost it, the realization that the day is merely about to repeat itself has broken him as he vows to go against destiny to ensure that you live. He'll go against your own wishes as well as you're clearly less concerned than he is. Can't you listen to him just this once?! Careful now or you might end up in chains, Vanitas is certainly unhinged enough now

❤️‍🔥​You join the Special Fire Force Company 7 under Benimaru as the newest assigned member and to say that you're nervous is an understatement. After all the captain of this independent Special Fire Force is none other than Shinmon Benimaru who is a legend for every Pyrokinetic and a hero in Asakusa. You're absolutely frightened when you introduce yourself to all members, nervous and tense as four pairs of eyes are watching you. Hikage and Hinata are already bombarding you with questions as soon as you enter until Benimaru and Konro pull both of them back and allow you finally to introduce yourself. Benimaru briefly congratulates you for your new position and wishes you good luck before he minds his own business. Konro apologizes for his friend's aloof behavior as he gives you a small tour of the company with the twins trailing closely behind you. He assures you that their captain will just need a little bit of time to warm up to you.

❤️‍🔥​You figure out that it is a bit of a challenge to get closer to Benimaru. The twins adore you already, in Konro you have found a good friend but somehow Benimaru seems still so tactiturn around you, so unreachable. You just feel so intimidated and your admiration for him makes you all the more awkward around him until you give up and decide to leave him be. From trying to gain his approval to fiercely avoiding to talk to him as much as you can, Benimaru notices your sudden shift in behavior and wonders what has happened. You're acting strange yet when he tries to ask you about it, you throw random excuses at him before dashing away from him. The captain questions Konro about it who just gives him a sigh, slightly exasperated but not surprised that Benimaru hasn't understood yet. He explains to him that his somewhat distant and quiet behavior around you has scared you and urges him to try to act nicer around you.

❤️‍🔥​Benimaru is thinking hard about how to get you to be less scared around him because it never was his intention to make you feel like you're not liked by him. He just draws a blank when he tries to think about methods to do so. Apparently there was never any need for words anyways as you walk one early morning in on him braiding Hinata's and Hikage's hair. He stares at you and you stare at him. He tries to come up with something to say because giving you a silent treatment or dry "good morning" probably won't help your impression that he doesn't like you but before he can speak of anything, you start chuckling. You try to cover your giggles as you look at the Pyrokinetic everyone holds in such high regards braiding the hair of the two girls and it feels like a burden is pulled off of you. Meanwhile Benimaru just stares at you confused as he wonders what it is that made you laugh all of a sudden. He doesn't mind though, the sound of your laughter reverberating through the room causing his heart to flutter inside his chest.

❤️‍🔥​After that day you feel less scared to approach him and talk to him and whilst he still doesn't fully understand what exactly he did to make you feel less nervous around him, he's ultimately just happy to have you feel that way. He now spends more time with you as he realizes that Konro was right and that he never really took his time to get to know you. You even get an apology from him as he admits that he was a bit wary of your sudden recruitment, especially since the Tokyo Empire was so pushy about you joining them that he accidentally took it out on you. You're flabbergasted when he bows down as you don't know what to do, only hastily forgiving him before begging him to not bow so deeply for you as it makes you feel uncomfortable. He's the captain after all.

❤️‍🔥​From that moment on both of you get rapidly closer to each other. You gladly tag along when he offers you to show you around Asakusa and introduces you to some of the citizens he is especially close to. Everyone loves him and seems to respect him and you admire him even more whenever he accepts sweet food someone prepared for him out of gratefulness and even eats it despite not being a big fan of sweet stuff. You start feeling incredibly at home now that all members of the company have welcomed you. You work hard and do your best to fight for the city by extinguishing and purifying Infernals, although it took you some time to accept the fact that Benimaru destroys entire buildings as offerings for the tragedy of losing someone when they are infernalized. It's in your eyes a strange way to tackle the problem but you go along with it since no one seems to mind.

❤️‍🔥​You wonder sometimes though why he has recently started staring at you whenever you are within his sight. It isn't uncommon that you turn around only to find his unique eyes already looking at you as if in a daze as he seems to snap out of his thoughts as soon as you question him about why exactly he is looking at you like this. He always answers you that he doesn't know himself, promises to not do it again only to find himself in the exact same situation soon again, his eyes automatically always following you. You also notice that he wants to spend a lot more time with you as he often asks you if you have time and want to join him when he goes out on walks and he even asks you one day if you'd be interested in helping him doing the twin's hair. His request is a bit strange but you still accept. Both girls only giggle as they glance at each other with knowing eyes as they observe Benimaru teaching you how to tie their hair or even braid it.

❤️‍🔥​He doesn't know what is going on with him himself. He only knows that he seemingly can't stop watching you, that his heart is pounding whenever you stand close to him and that his skin is always pleasantly tingling when you accidentally brush against him and he feels the warmth of your own body for a split second against his own. He's a lot more careful with you all of a sudden and certainly a bit more protective as he suddenly starts worrying significantly more when you put an Infernal to rest even if he has no reason to do so. You always laugh his worries off when he approaches you every time afterwards and asks you if you're feeling fine as you feel his eyes scrutinizing you for any tiny injury.

❤️‍🔥​You have a slight suspicion but you always dismiss it and tell yourself that you're merely imagining stuff. Why should Benimaru love you after all? Benimaru is even worse as he still hasn't figured out his own feelings despite the entire rest of the team desperately trying to help him realize what is going on. It isn't until a small accident happens where you nearly trip and fall flat on your face only for Benimaru to catch you in time that you realize that you might be right. His one arm is wrapped securely around your waist, holding you. But instead of letting you go, you realize that he's actually pressing you a tiny bit closer to his body and suddenly you feel his breath tickling the shell of your ear. Your heart starts pounding rapidly as you turn your head quickly around only to find his own close to yours, observing you with an almost dreamy tenderness in his eyes. Only when you stutter out that you wish to be unhanded does he snap out of it, although for a short moment he seems to hesitate to let you leave his arms.

❤️‍🔥​He finally approaches Konro after that incident and whilst his friend would have liked to explain everything calmly to him, Hikage and Hinata lose their patience and almost yell at him that he's in love with you. Love. He's never considered love before. He never was really invested in finding love so he has no idea how to tackle this problem initially. A part of him is still wondering if he really is feeling love for you. That last bit of doubt is eradicated when he takes a stroll through his city, deep in thoughts about how he is feeling about you when he actually spots you among the crowd. His heart is picking up some speed in his chest as a sudden urge to see you overcomes him and his feet automatically move as he approaches you. He slows down though when he realizes that you're talking to someone else and realizes that both of you seem quite close, especially judging by the way your hand is delicately touching their biceps.

❤️‍🔥​He doesn't know what comes over him in that moment. He just knows that he does not like this sudden strange weight that he feels in the pit of his stomach that makes him feel almost a bit queasy nor the sudden spark of anger he feels as he watches you with them. He feels the strong urge to interrupt this moment and acts on sheer impulse as he storms over to the two of you. Not only your companion is quite frightened, you are too when you see Benimaru almost stomping over to the two of you, his eyes ablaze with something. There are initially no words as he just stares at the two of you, especially your acquaintance and it feels like he's trying to set your arm on fire that is still touching them, this time to soothe them as you notice that they're quite scared by the captain's abrupt strange behavior. His hand suddenly wraps around your arm and forces you to let go, his eyebrows furrowed as he does so.

❤️‍🔥​Suddenly he is the one who comes up with a ridiculous excuse as he starts dragging you away from the scene, somehow deeply bothered with the thought to let you stay any longer with your acquaintance. They try to weakly speak up that they actually had plans with you only to shut up when Benimaru gives them a quick glare before replying that you belong to his team and that you have more important stuff to do. You're speechless as he pulls you away from them as you try to process what just happened. When you arrive at the building of your company, you have regained some composure and start quickly scolding Benimaru for his inappropriate behavior. His back is facing you and you don't even know that he's listening or not as you angrily rant only to be interrupted when he suddenly mentions that he doesn't like you spending time with someone he doesn't know and that he wants to know with whom you're spending your time with the next time.

❤️‍🔥​He figures out later that he probably was jealous as soon as he has cooled off a bit, although he's still mad at you for spending time with someone without telling him. He didn't know them after all. Why do you spend your time with people without him knowing about it? Isn't he your captain? Isn't he the one you admire so much? He indulges in such dark thoughts before he suddenly pauses and rewinds everything that just went through his head. Why is he thinking like this? He isn't bothered when Konro or the twins spend time with others. So why does it get under his skin when it's about you? He spends the rest of the day mostly in his room, his feelings suddenly troubling him. He wishes to be left alone even when Konro approaches him with a concerned expression, having heard everything from you.

❤️‍🔥​He apologizes the next day to you after he has calmed down and you hesitantly accept although you're still unsure how to feel about his behavior yesterday. You soon realize that Benimaru has started avoiding you again but this time you're actually a bit glad about it. Perhaps both of you should just spend some time alone and think about stuff as you're sure Benimaru is avoiding you more precisely because of his weird outburst. You feel relieved that he takes some time to reflect on himself but you couldn't be more wrong. Sometimes you wonder if you're hallucinating when you're in public and your eyes briefly fly over the crowd only to catch sight of a familiar figure standing amongst them and glowing eyes following you only to disappear seconds after. Are you losing your mind? Benimaru surely wouldn't just follow you like this, right?

❤️‍🔥​Wrong. You aren't imagining it. Benimaru has really been following you as good as he could, although reasonable enough to turn around as soon as you spot him amongst all the people. He doesn't know why he does this but he knows that he shouldn't just stalk you. Yet he can't help himself as his urge to know what you're doing at the moment is sometimes too strong to resist. He tries as good as he can to act as nonchalant as possible around you to not alert you even more as you have grown slightly more warily around him. He can't risk you straying away from him and making you lose your trust in him. Deep down he is yearning for the time where both of you were so close to each other and sometimes he feels a short flash of hot and bitter resentment to why you have to act so skittish around him now only to quickly snuff that feeling out. It's his fault after all.

❤️‍🔥​When Konro one day asks him with a serious look on his face that he wants to talk with him, Benimaru already knows that he knows. the Vice-captain has always been so observant after all and has known Benimaru for so long. How strong he yearns for your body pressed against his own and how he sometimes wishes so selfishly that he wants you to spend all your time with him instead of spending more time with citizens and even confesses how he has been following you around just to satisfy his need to know with whom you're spending your time with. 🦶The boy has pretty much a childhood trauma from losing his mother and his little brother which is the main reason for a development of possessive as well as protective instincts when he falls in love with his darling. He wants to protect someone precious to him now that he has gotten stronger than he was as a child and so he often winds up stalking his darling a bit when he has the time. He always checks thrice though to make sure that no one from his friends and comrades follows him and calls him out. That stems from the fact that Shinra winds up being about half-lucid about some of the things he does. Whilst he will excuse more brutal and wrong stuff if it guarantees your safety and your stay with him, he’ll avert his eyes from the unpleasant truth as much as he can. Hopefully that won’t scare you off though since Shinra will always be very stubborn and persistent as soon as you pull away from him, urging you to give him another chance. That can be quite scary the moment he starts following you around and waiting for you in locations he knows you’ll seek out.

🦶Objectively speaking, Shinra always tries to respect his darling and he’s also very considerate of the people and citizen around him. He wants to be a hero after all. He’s very passionate about you though and for that tends to get triggered fast when he realizes that someone tries to impress you. In such times he can’t help his signature strained smile he always gives when something is bothering him and becomes for you after some time the best indicator possible about how he’s feeling at the moment. Unfortunately not everyone knows upon first meeting about Shinra’s habit so that smile will either unnerve them or anger them, possibly both. If someone does call him rudely out for it, Shinra will get slightly angry. Not only is that person trying to get with you, now they’re also trying to get him into a fight!

🦶He has high standards for the companies protecting citizens from Infernals and has a promise to hold he made with his mother so considering all that, he probably would be more tame when it comes to hurting others. Sure, he can get into brawls with others when he’s triggered because of his jealous and possessive emotions but that rarely escalates further than insults since he knows better than to hurt someone. If he’s desperate though, he’ll definitely be willing to injure others seriously but that’s probably only the case if someone threatens to kill you. If his obsession starts messing with his rational thinking though, he tends to get impulsive and messy.

🦶Abduction is wrong from a moral point of view and by stretch also his point of view yet I wouldn’t put it under him. Shinra would do it if something escalates but he also knows that he isn’t in a position to really be able to pull something like that off. He’s working under a special task force, doesn’t have the resources nor enough money to kidnap you and provide for you whilst simultaneously keeping you for forever a secret. It seems impossible and he probably wouldn’t be able to help the guilt knocking on his consciousness if he’d actually pull it off. So an abduction is basically him pushing his darling into their room and locking them up inside only to let them out after some time again. He’s going to be very persistent to stay with you whenever something like that occurs though so he can quench the unease in his heart.

🦶An introduction to the fellow people in his company is eventually due and that already makes him a bit nervous. But it’s nothing compared to when he meets your own family. Oh boy, his smile at this rate is creepy with the way it stretches across his face, showing you clearly how nervous he is. He’s initially not overly terrible but I feel like he’d get more paranoid the moment the White-Clad show themselves and he finds out that they’re after him too. He wouldn’t put it above them to use you as a bargain chip if they were ever to find out which inevitably has him turning more protective and overbearing out of paranoia.

Takumi Aldini

🍝Takumi strikes me more of a tsunderish kind of Yandere in the beginning which pretty much just means that he’s trying to hide his rather massive crush on his darling in the earliest developments of things. Partially because he feels ashamed thanks to the somewhat abnormal thoughts and feelings about this crush he has on you, something that has him occasionally questioning his own sanity. The other part of him tries to hide his feelings because his pride tends to not be able to handle the embarrassment he feels every time he’s seeing you and transform into a flustered and clumsy mess with his poor heart doing a parkour inside his chest. He’s always a bit on edge when you’re around, almost hyper aware of every glance you give him which wracks his nerves quite a bit because by god, he doesn’t want to humiliate himself again.

🍝Once we’ve gone past that stage of denying and hiding though, Takumi becomes very passionate and determined to court his darling. He still tries to downplay his feelings at times and still gets flustered but is more open with his feelings now that he’s embraced them. You and his friends and his brother might catch him in the act of intensely staring at you as he tries to learn about you by observing you. Takumi becomes quite keen on memorizing the smaller details on you. He also grows to act a bit like a mother would do, always asks you if you’re feeling good and offers you lunch he prepared himself. He also develops the habit of always following you around in his best attempts to stalk you a bit although he’d die out of shame and embarrassment if someone from his friends or worse even you would notice him.

🍝Takumi wouldn’t want to be someone who comes over as overly jealous, especially if he’s worried that his s/o might think of it as rather annoying. So despite his sometimes hot-blooded side getting the better of him, he’ll do his best to swallow everything down. He’d probably calm down a bit once he’s in a relationship but before that, he’s going to feel quite easily jealous. It’s obviously his fault for trying to play his emotions down and he truly resents himself for this in such moments of jealousy. His pride will only let him handle that much if he notices that someone tries to court his darling. He’s not arrogant but takes still confidence himself. He can be an individual who is quite serious when it comes to rivalry but once he is officially your boyfriend, he won’t take any bullshit.

🍝Looking on how he got incredibly pissed when his brother got insulted, Takumi definitely gets triggered when people he cares about get in any way degraded or disrespected. He’s capable of holding grudges if someone does such a thing to his lovely s/o just as much and even if he isn’t prone to violence, he will find other ways to silence that person and make them somehow apologize to his darling. He won’t rest easy until he has fulfilled that desire of his which shows how tenacious he really is. During his time in the Totsuki Culinary Academy and his position as the 7th seat, he’s quite respected as it is.

🍝He plans to take over his family business in Italy and especially if his s/o doesn’t come from there, he’s going to feel simultaneously dread and joy the closer the day of graduation comes. He definitely wants his darling by his side since he can’t imagine being separated from them for too long at the same time knows that he can’t force them to be with him though. He’s going to do his all to coordinate it somehow That both of you still can see each other. He functions in his restaurant without you but as soon as he has nothing to do, he starts feeling miserable. He wants everything to be consensual so he waits for his darling to be ready although to be fair, he will resort to guilt-tripping if nothing else seems to help anymore.

🪄Despite having earned herself the nickname "Witch Queen" and her muscular physique, Maki is quite romantic at heart. She's very sweet towards her darling and dedicates a lot of time to them when she isn't working. She appears to be quite happy and she most certainly is, the problem is that as soon as she's left alone the guilt ambushes her. For you see, Maki knows that at least some of her thoughts regarding you are morally not correct and it makes her self-conscious at times. It's easy to forget such gnawing thoughts when she's constantly on cloud nine when around you but after that happiness fades away and she's left alone with her thoughts, she can't help but feel bad. The girl certainly isn't someone to act on impulses and darker instincts and she knows that much about herself too. Those new sides of her don't fail to frighten her at least a bit though.

🪄Considering the world this is playing in, Maki is also definitely on a more protective side. Infernals might appear randomly everywhere without any warning. When she thinks about you getting caught up in such an accident, she can't help but feel her heart drop a bit. Working as a Fire Soldier also means that she has seen a lot of things which would easily disturb the unknown person deeply. Maki can definitely also be more clingy when she has the time and the luxury to do so. She works obviously still as hard and dedicated as before since she knows that the wellbeing of people is part of her responsibility. You can bet that as soon as she has the chance though, she will go to you and stay with you. Going back to the whole romantic aspect of her, it definitely shows when you two spend time together and she shows her more feminine side.

🪄She's showing a very courteous side whenever you introduce her to someone close to you since she wants to make a good impression on them. Most people who she meets for the first time are in general treated with her courtesy but Maki can also get quite angry when someone triggers her. That's not to say that she can't handle a bit of jealousy but one shouldn't push her limit either. I do feel like she's considerate and not someone who is madly jealous and lets that feeling control her action. She's in most cases just a bit mor firm to remind someone what the relationship between you two is. If someone acts mature and respects that, she is very much willing to forget about it. What really raises her blood pressure though are the arrogant people who think they can flirt with anyone no matter if they're taken or not. When she's angered, most would be scared.

🪄She's a skilled fighter and has very good control over her ability which would potentially make her quite fearsome but she has a kind heart. Her sometimes more protective tendencies usually lead her to make sure that you won't get too much involved in her job since it includes dangerous missions and people. If she is pushed, she will fight though and that with more fierceness than what others are used to from her. Her protective side will lead her in certain scenarios to be more violent and if she gets really angry, she lets go of her consideration for a while and will be rather violent to fight against anything and anyone who poses a threat to you.

🪄Frankly spoken, Maki doesn't strike me as someone who would abduct her own darling. Her morals are playing a huge part in it too and it's not like her comrades wouldn't find out either if she would ever do such a thing. Thinking about saddening you and causing you to hate her and disappointing her own teammates and family truly isn't something Maki thinks she would be able to handle. I have a distinct feeling that in times of danger she might call her family and ask them if her darling can stay with them until the risk is over. She wouldn't even resort to an abduction if her darling would leave her. What Maki will do in such a case is stalk her darling and continue to protect them. It's not like she has given up hope completely either.

🪄She's a bit nervous when she introduces her darling to her family since she's worried that they might give you the impression that they're judging you. Her parents and her brother certainly are a bit sceptic since Maki is loved within the family but when they notice how happy she is and that you care for her too, they accept you. Others shouldn't let themselves fooled by her sweet exterior she shows you though because the woman can turn extremely scary if someone insults her darling since she sees red. If you shouldn't be a Fire Soldier and for that not possess any fire abilitites, she'll gladly entertain you with her own skills by creating fire creatures although she will still be careful so that you won't burn yourself accidentally.

Hibana

💐Hibana has pretty much a princess-complex of sorts and sees herself due to her position as captain above others, especially those working in her own squad. So I wish you good luck with this woman because she's as entitled as she is delusional when it comes to you. She's highly arrogant and overly confident in her looks so she believes that you will succumb to her charm too, will love her too. She's pretty much already acting all the time like you have a massive crush on her and are just too shy and insecure to show it. The level of delusion is dangerous because that only means that you won't get through her, no matter what you say or do. She always twists it inside her head to her own liking. Rejecting and avoiding her for too long isn't advisable since the woman goes after you with an infatuated zeal.

💐She won't shy away to use her position to manipulate you either if you try to separate yourself from the insane woman. She'll also use everything she has to find out as much as she can about you, indifferent to the fact that some things aren't for her to know. She's seeking out knowledge about Infernals and now also about you. Denying her something never ends will since she ends up forcing everything out if she has to. Her obsession is fearsome due to the sheer extent of it as she wants to know absolutely everything about you and will use what she has gathered to "court" you even more, or in others words put, to just leave you with no choice but to stay with her. She's going to be the one to take the wheel in this relationship too as she thinks that it's natural, especially if you're only a citizen and for that wouldn't know possibly as much as she does.

💐She shouldn't have any reason to be jealous and in most cases it's probably more the case that people are jealous of you when they see you with Hibana. She's undeniably a beauty and knows this too, she flaunts it in front of you all the time after all. That's specifically why she's going to deny all claims that she's one to be easily jealous because she feels like she has no reason to be. You know better though about her flaring streak of jealousy. The woman wants your attention pretty much all the time and it will be very hard for her to understand why you would want to spend time with someone else rather than him. She judges the people around you rather harshly because none of them are someone she would deem as special, it's not like she would ever see someone as good enough. She's acting like the proudest peacock in history too, a somewhat bratty and entitled one though.

💐She's manipulated her way through life quite often, she even exchanged information on her research to get her the position she's in today. Despite her princess-complex, Hibana is still a scientist and has shown herself to be a very intelligent tactician too. There are not many qualms she seems to have to use all of her influence to rid herself of someone that stands in the way of her and her darling. She's resolved to become a demon herself after all in order to get revenge on what was done to the sister in the Holy Sol Temple, believes that she has to fight evil with evil. That and her very apparent sadistic streak make her anything but pleasant if someone has officially irked her. She won't go as far as killing though as she doesn't see herself as a barbarian.

💐She keeps you by her side all the time, we've already talked about how she is the one with dominance and control in the relationship after all. The men working under her worship her so even if they're envy of your position as Hibana's lover, they know exactly what Hibana would do to them if she were to ever find out that they talk bad about you behind her back. When she's busy, a few of them always keep an eye on you. Whenever she isn't busy though, she has you tagging along wherever she goes. She's very clingy in that aspect as she won't let you out of her sight at all. Since she is so smothering, her darling barely gets any time alone at all but telling her that will only further motivate her. It's not like you don't want her attention and affection after all, you're just shy~

💐Trying wo wiggle somehow free from her very tight grip on you won't work as she's too obsessed and infatuated to let that happen. You shouldn't underestimate her connection and resources either since she has a considerable lot of influence. Her ire is most of the time not directed to you since her delusions keep her most of the time from seeing you as the true culprit. That said though, when she lashes out on you it will be anything but pleasant for you since she won't hold back with her words at all and target your insecurities specifically. ❤️‍🔥​Benimaru belongs definitely into a more possessive category yet due to his nonchalant and sometimes downright lazy exterior, it isn't something that is terribly obvious. Quite self-conscious about his downright creepy feelings and he can't deny that he feels exactly like a creep because of it. That is once he actually realizes that he even has feelings for you, he remains rather oblivious for a long time and since he is rather calm, people need a while to pick up his interest. Konro belongs to such people. Sure, he walks past the streets where you live more than he needs yet that surely can't be anything meaningful nor the way his eyes shift instantly to you when you are in his view. It's a bit of a journey until he figures out but when he does, he becomes lucid of everything and there is guilt and shame suddenly clinging onto his back.

❤️‍🔥​He's protective of his city and it's citizens and even more protective of you once everything has been cleared up to him. Now that he knows about his romantic interest he is especially concerned about your safety and the moment an Infernal has been sighted in your district, he's storming to the place with fear in his heart. Whilst he now knows what you mean to him, he has no clue how to approach you and ends up just staring at you from a distance or occasionally chatting with you when he bumps into you, totally not on accident that is. He might end up asking Konro eventually for help and let's be honest, his friend has been waiting for him to admit his feelings and is more than happy to help. Honestly, it's funny that a man as blunt and honest as Benimaru struggles to confess his feelings to his darling.

❤️‍🔥​It's quite known to everyone that you're his s/o the moment information leaks out and since the people in Asakusa adore Benimaru as their hero, chances are rather slim that someone would make their move on you. This knowledge is something that puts the captain a bit at ease, though he wouldn't like to call himself the jealous type. Most the time he really isn't, though he tends to be more jealous if he isn't in a relationship with you which is why he interrupts conversations you have with other overly friendly people. Once you are his s/o his jealousy cools down significantly. Plain flirting never is enough to make him jealous but something that tends to trigger him still is when you are especially close to someone and both of you seem to know much about the other. The average reaction is that he pulls you lazily closer to him and eyes the other person closely. If he's angry, he turns more aggressive though and fights rather recklessly which is usually the case when someone attacks his darling and manages to successfully hurt them. The damage he inflicts on the culprit the moment he catches them is extreme.

❤️‍🔥​I honestly don't see him kidnapping simply because he puts so much importance into the free will of people. If he'd kidnap his darling and take away their freedom like this he'd be an official hypocrite and he knows that himself. The thought of forcing his darling much is in general not to Benimaru's liking, he's a relatively honest person so he rarely manipulates or pushes you unless the relationship or your life is in danger. You probably end up spending a lot of time in the headquarters where you are surrounded by Konro and the twins and since those are a few people Benimaru trusts, he has no issue letting you stay with them.

❤️‍🔥​Literally has to shoo Hinata and Hikage away from you since both of them are extremely clingy when you are in the headquarters and bombard you with questions regarding the relationship. Benimaru can be more of a clingy case himself, especially when he has his leisure time with you where he just prefers to hold you. He prefers either spending time alone with you or going on walks with you and when Asakusa holds a festival. If you two are comfortable enough he also likes taking a bath together with his darling which might or might not lead to something else.
