Inspired by @brittle-doughie and his few works about the 5 Beasts! The ones were the reader being a part of their group caught my eye, so have this!

You were Compassion, brilliant, and beautiful. You aided the Cookies in their times of need, when they needed you most. Helping them up to their feet, using your powers to heal them, to soothe arguments. Your friends were once like that too.

Shadow Milk Cookie loved to put on plays for the Cookies, and have them join in. He'd always give you one of the main parts alongside him. It was only fair!

Burning Spice Cookie was always so valiant in defending them, with Silent Salt Cookie by his side. The two were nigh unstoppable, and with you near to always heal any wounds, they really were.

Eternal Sugar Cookie would often join you in aiding the common Cookies, always lounging on her cloud. She always made a spot for you, though. Mystic Flour Cookie would tag along too, going on and on about things seen. It always made you smile.

Until.. something changed.

You didn't notice it at first. It was subtle things, especially whenever you weren't around. Being cruel and hateful towards the Cookies, seeing them as lesser. For not having the power baked and blessed into you six.

You only saw it all too late when your comrades gleefully recounted all that they had done during one of your meetup sessions. You were briefly in shock before shakily congratulating them. You didn't want to anger them. You couldn't take all five of them at once in a fight..

However, you didn't need to wait long. Your Creators, the Witches, soon saw this and upon seeing you untouched by greed and corruption, asked for you help.

Mournfully, you agreed.

You called them all to the spot, saying you had a dance you wanted to show them. A special one, just for their eyes. It was difficult getting them in the exact spots, but once you did..

The Forks fell, trapping them one by one. You continued your dance until the sapling of the Silver Tree was planted, where you then bowed to them.

None of them could understand. Why would you betray them?

Why were you walking away?!

"COME BACK, YOU CAN'T LEAVE!"

For so long following that fateful day, you tried to stay there in Beast-Yeast, but it wasn't possible. Many of the remaining Cookies, that were the Faeire Cookies, couldn't bare to live there any longer.

So you said a mournful goodbye, and led the Cookies that wanted a new home to a new home. Crispia, you decided it would be called. Once many Cookies began to settle, you turned and left. You couldn't bare the thought of becoming like one of the Beasts, so you secluded yourself, changed yourself.

Your divine appearance, your name, everything. Once a Cookie representing Compassion, now you were a mere shadow of yourself. The only thing that stood constant was your Soul Jam, now a beautiful amulet around your neck instead of attached to your clothes.

It was the one thing you couldn't part with, no matter how hard you tried.

You rebuilt yourself. Made new friends, connections, loved ones.

Until the day came.

You had to return to that land to find White Lily Cookie. You didn't want to, but for the sake of the world, you had to.

Oh, it had all gone so terribly wrong. White Lily Cookie had awakened, you had your reunion with the Faeires, and then the Seal began to undo. Try as anyone might, it couldn't be resealed.

And from the rift.. came Shadow Milk Cookie.

Without a single thought, you put yourself between the group and him.

He opened his mouth to say something, but when he spotted you, his pupils went wide.

After so long of being trapped, hidden away by the seal and vines, Eternal Sugar Cookie's constant wailings about you being tricked, manipulated, or brainwashed had gotten to all the Beasts. It was the only explanation, it had to be.

And as Shadow Milk Cookie grins widely down at you, obession in his eyes, you swear to yourself.

You really shouldn't have come back to Beast-Yeast.

yknow while I don’t subscribe to golden cheese x burning spice, I think Spice having an unrequited, toxic crush on cheese is a fun and scary angle

Spice wouldn’t have taken her seriously before and during BY 5 and 6, seeing her as little more than a thief with squandered potential that he just wants to see changed. She’s not supposed to be weak, he’s supposed to be a legitimate adversary. He’s bored, and she’s supposed to excite him! It’s why he’s mad when she gets her ass handed to him, and why he’s elated when he learns she escaped her birdcage. That burning anticipation for a reunion continues throughout the story, with Spice hunting her down for their (what he assumes) final fight, not wanting to waste any more moments without her in his sight. Sure, he believes he’ll kill her then and there, and go on to destroy everything she holds dear. It’s par for the course for all the heroes he’s seen and slain. She’s more special, a little different, but the same. It’s even looking like that when he finally tracks down and battles her, seeing the lost queen desperate and hanging on by a thread.

But then she puts up a fight. She defies his expectations. She turns into something more powerful than he could ever fathom and Spice isn’t even mad, he’s not horrified, he’s ecstatic. The most ecstatic he’s likely ever been in centuries to millennia. Finally, finally, Spice has something new. After a long and tired quest to make his life more interesting, he has it. And then the temple collapses on him, and his new light disappears. It’s not the end of the road for him, though, no. He laughs under the rubble. It’s clear he’s not given up, and he wants to see her again. He will see her again. He must see her again.

Spice never stops thinking of the day Cheese came back from the edge of death and teased him with power that he’s desperate to get a taste of. He wanted her to be entertaining, and he almost doubted her, but she proved to be it and more. She surprised him. She amused him. She, just like his addiction to destruction, provided an avenue to cure his boredom. His imagination runs wild with ideas of what she could do and how she could entertain him, his bird, just like she did back then. He wants to lock her up again and watch her plow through his underlings again. He could play other dangerous games just to see how she’d do. And he wants another fight, he wants to see her on the edge, but then what? What other surprise could she give him? She could find a way for him, or else he’ll just force her to find a way for him. Maybe her new wings could be torn off too, and she’ll once again crawl and struggle until she rises up stronger than ever. Because she’s full of those surprises, isn’t she? They can do this forever. As immortals, they have all the time in the world for each other.

I like to think that Spice isn’t fully aware of his feelings for her, but he’s aware of how she makes him feel. The thought of her and her power makes his jam boil and chest flare with tingling heat. Remembering her limp in his clutch makes his dough tingle with fervor. Maybe he notices that his breath hitches in the smallest way when he thinks of how she’s somewhere out there, waiting for him. It’s something not even destruction could make him feel, no, the little bird is above that. She makes him feel this way and he likes it. He wants more. Spice wants to keep her, plain and simple. He had her in his grasp once, and she ran away with the promise of more. He wants more. He wants it. He wants her. And maybe, if he takes away everyone she’s ever known and loved, she’ll have no one but him. His little bird, his to entertain him forever.

Cheese is absolutely none the wiser to this, and she’ll be in for a hell of a ride when their paths cross once more.

Today is not a good day for the Beasts

You tell him that you do. That you wished to be married to him, now and forever.

The faerie priest asks if Elder Faerie Cookie will do the same.

“I do. Truly, I want nothing more then to be by your side, through the darkest of hours and the brightest of peaks. You, the wonderful cookie who helped saved the Silver Kingdom. And me, the guardian of the silver tree. Together, we may watch over this land as King and King/Queen.”

Shadow Milk Cookie is seething. Hell, all of the Beasts were as they watched from their prisons.

“HOW?! MY PLAN WAS PERFECT! HE…ALL OF THEM WERE SUPPOSED TO LOSE!”

Red Spice Cookie, from within their prison, is trying with all his might to break free. Rage is all he could feel, it feels like his own dough is burning from the sight…

Mystic Flour Cookie sighed solemnly. It looked like Shadow Milk Cookie had failed to convert you fully, a shame that you saw significance in these lesser cookies. Why settle for less? It was beneath a cookie like you.

Cut them all down. That was the plan Silent Salt could conjure up in their head. Destroy every single cookie in their way, reduce them to bits. Remind them why there can only be few cookies that could protect you and it would certainly not be Elder Faerie Cookie…

The other Beasts should be lucky they don’t share a prison with Eternal Sugar Cookie, who’s currently in emotional agony as she struggles to brute force her way out of her prison. She has to watch the brightest light she’s seen getting married right before her eyes. It made her want nothing more then to BURN THE WHOLE KINGDOM DOWN weep into her hands, unable to think of anything else but to MUTILATE ALL OF THEM think of you and what could’ve been…

Eternal Sugar Cookie

Quite the clingy gal, that’s for sure. She knew you loved her from the start…but she loved you before you even knew her. She had her eyes on you this entire time, watching your every move with a giddy smile. It almost makes her giggle when she remembers the situation.

Eternal Sugar enjoys holding you close and wrapping her wings around you. She wants you to feel content and safe, but she also wants you to get attached to her as well. She knows that if she was going to try something more extreme, it would have to be when you’re becoming more vulnerable and soft towards her. Then she’d strike.

“Oh, sweetie…that unfortunate Cookie spoke to you too long. They looked like they were flirting with you, and I just couldn’t have that! I love you dearly, and I’m never letting my darling go again~!”

All in all, you’re probably too busy looking at how beautiful she was, how her sweet eyes were filled with care for you…and…then…

Burning Spice Cookie

He’s not the type to really stalk you, but he’d demand to know where his little peppercorn is at all times, who you’re with and why you’re even there in the first place and not next to him. (yes he nicknamed you that and no I’m not talking about the canon Peppercorn Cookie don’t come at me)

Burning Spice probably gets really aggressive when you try to go somewhere without his permission, even trying to burn you once or twice to make you stay with him while he treats your wounds, love-bombing you afterwards and holding you close to his warm chest while he bear-hugs you. This tactic is usually done on your legs and especially your knees, giving you second degree burns and ending up with you being unable to walk for about a week or so.

“C’mon, toots! It’s just a few burns, no need to cry when you’re around me! This only happened because you aren’t being a good partner… Hey, look, maybe we could cuddle after if that’s what you want?”

How could you stay mad at a guy who looked so sure of himself? So warm and confident…

But the temperature was increasing more, you just didn’t realize until it was a bit too late.

Silent Salt Cookie

They’ve always been, well, silent. Even when around their peers, they’re known as the quiet one. Their situation with you is probably a lot like Eternal Sugar’s, watching you since the very beginning. They’re definitely light on their feet, a sound rarely coming out of their mouth as they watch you go about your day.

Watching you was something that made them feel a bit of hope in the quiet silence they’ve had during their time as a Beast.

They’ve never tried to hurt you, but they’ve hurt many cookies that have interacted with you. Haven’t you noticed all the missing posters? Well, Silent Salt is sure happy that you didn’t see the papers or notice anything off about the world. After all, how could you when you’re in their home, wandering the salt flats from time to time?

“…it’s not to hurt you.”

They had whispered in your ear while keeping you close on their lap, the two of you embracing each other and the silence that came with it.

The Beast of Silence had even felt some…guilt, being this attached to you.

They could kill armies and hundreds of innocent civilians…but never raise their sword at you.

Ever.

And it would be best to keep it that way.

Mystic Flour Cookie

So, I don’t really know what to write about her…because she’s basically a nihilist and the literal Beast of Apathy..

But she’d definitely try to guilt trip you into making you care about her and worship her by telling her story, wanting you to feel sympathy for her even if she doesn’t want to care for you. (She does, in a way.)

“Don’t stop the flow of life, dearest. Join me and become flour…”

Anyways, she’s probably going to turn you into flour in the end.

But watching you cough out flour as you collapse next to her was…a strange sight indeed. Not even she knew how to feel.

He’s certainly a flirt, ever since the two of you met. Shadow Milk has always been thinking of you as his little toy, someone that he could play around with and face little consequences.

Because how could you resist a face like his? With a pout on his lips as he tries to justify harming the ones who’ve wronged you a long time ago, whether it be a childhood bully or even your parents… Heck, he even swears that it was for your sake and not because he’s a sadistic piece of shit.

“But [name]! How could I rest well knowing that my sweet, sweet doll still has enemies all around them? It’s my duty to protect you and keep you safe. Besides, don’t you love me?! I know you’re not chickening out now, sweetheart!”

He’s definitely tried to control you, making you into a mindless puppet without your knowledge. It’s something he only does when he’s feeling particularly pissed off at you because you’re not listening to him.

Well, if you’re not listening to him, he’s not planning to listen to his little doll anytime soon!

And he swears he’ll change. Every promise he makes is another lie from the jester. Those kisses he gives you before he goes off doing who knows what? That’s just to keep you entertained.

It’s his duty to protect you, but it’s his job to keep everyone entertained— especially himself.

Honestly, you could say regular Burning Spice is a yandere and I wouldn't disagree /j

But actual Yandere Burning Spice would dial his usual traits up to an 11.

Burning Spice is aggressive, possessive, and he always wants MORE. More of you, more of your time, more of your affection, more of your attention.

Burning Spice gets incredibly annoyed when your attention is on anyone but him, and he doesn't hesitate when crumbling the competition for your affection.

He will leave bits and pieces of those who dared to get in his way as "gifts" on your doorstep. It is a sign of his strength and conquest!

If you have feelings for Burning Spice, and haven't caught on to his darker intentions, he will ironically start playing hard to get. This is his way of testing you, to see if you're as intensely in love with him as he is with you.

He wants someone to reignite that SPARK he's been yearning for. And when he saw you, he felt an old, familiar flame flicker inside him. That's when he became obsessed. It was immediate and intense. And Burning Spice wants to chase that feeling.

Once he felt that spark, he won't waste any time trying to kidnap you. Burning Spice won't be subtle about it either. There will be no traps, no slow burn, or luring you into a false sense of security. He will pretty much break into your home in broad daylight and grab you. I mean... who's going to stop him? Unless you are protected by the Ancients, nothing and no one is going to stop him.

Burning Spice lives for excitement. He LOVES the thrill of the chase. So there will be a couple of times while he's bringing you back to Beast-Yeast where he will "allow" you escape, only for him to hunt you down again.

You never get far because he's only toying with you. Its merely a game to him. The only reason you have a chance to run is because he allows it.

From then on, Burning Spice essentially regards you as a trophy. You're always by his side, hanging on his arm.

Burning Spice isn't fully delusional. He fully knows that he took you against your will and that you want to escape him. Like how he gave you chances to escape when on the way to Beast-Yeast, he will do it here too.

You think if you play the loving "spouse" act long enough, Burning Spice will get comfortable and let his guard down. Once you think you have the chance to escape, Burning Spice quickly snuffs out any hope you had of freedom. He knew all along of your plans and little act. But, he's gracious, and will give you a head start before he hunts you down and captures you again.

If the Beasts became yanderes towards me, then I would fucking panic lol. Make a deal where they are allowed to live in and explore my house provided they damage nothing and hurt no one

Burning Spice Cookie x Reader Dating Headcannons? Before and after his corruption?

Enjoy the milkshake! I actually got two burning spice requests in the same day so this is Headcannons and the other one will probably be a scenario or something

Burning Spice dating Headcannons

Pre Corruption

We don’t know what the beasts were like pre corruption so I’m guessing with this-

Burning Spice is quite calm and collected before his corruption

Now he will seek out fun things to do with you, like maybe archery or pottery

I believe that he learned how to cook tbh because he is the virtue of change and when cooking your changing two or more ingredients to make another thing

He probably gets pretty good at cooking

He also likes to get in friendly debates with you to see if he can change your mind about something

I don’t have anymore head cannons that won’t be said in his after corruption so just think that pre corruption Burning Spice is more toned down than corrupted Burning Spice

After Corruption

Being the beast of destruction, he’s prone to causing fights and wrecking stuff, this also includes stuff in your relationship

He does try to tone down his destructive behavior with you but there will be times that he will slip up

Now he won’t apologize for a while, he believes that he’s not in the wrong. But depending on how badly this affected you then he will begrudgingly apologize

Another thing to be wary of is his over protective behavior.

He won’t lock you away or anything but he knows your not as strong as him so if there’s the slightest threat to your safety, you know he’s going to get rid of it

Honestly he is a couple steps off before getting to yandere behavior. To be fair, he trusts the cookies in his terrain to not hurt you or anything but he won’t sit around if something actually does happen to you

But let’s get onto some positive behavior of his

If you are good at fighting then you best believe Burning Spice will want to train with you! To be fair he will go easy on you since he is stronger than you by probably a long shot

Now I mentioned that before his corruption he learned how to cook and I think he carried it with him

He definitely cooks very spicy meals so if you can’t handle spice to some degree then you’re screwed, so just suck it up because he won’t remove the spice from his cooking for you

If you praise him on anything he will be very boastful about it, it feeds his ego, which may cause issues at times-

He definitely will tell anyone and everyone in the spice swarm about how you praise him and that the swarm should try to be more like you

Some swarm members do get jealous but they would never admit it out of fear of The Great Destroyer

Now do you like cuddles? Because Burning Spice sure does

Just know two things. One being that Burning Spices body temperature is warmer than most so if it’s a hot day and he wants to cuddle then that’s unfortunate, Two being that he’s always big spoon, he won’t accept anything else.

Going off of cuddles, Burning Spice Probably always has a hand on you, like around your waist or shoulders. He kind does this subconsciously or on purpose, we don’t know

He probably calls you something like his desert rose or something like that tbh

Over all if you have a tolerance for spice and heat then you might actually be a somewhat good fit with Burning Spice, just don’t get to comfortable with the spice swarm because they might hate you

#"Innocent Encounter"

Childe and Zhongli are so sweet to you. But do they have ulterior motives?

Characters: Childe (reffered to as ajax in this fic), Zhongli

Notes: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, MY LOVES!!! (I've tried to post this like 4 times, but tumblr isn't working with me ig... 😒)

You enter the Fatui cafe for your regular morning coffee. As you get in line, in front of you, talking to the barista, stands a tall man with a tiny rat-tail poking from his nape. The little braid makes you laugh a bit as you notice Ajax, the barista and your childhood friend, looking continuously frustrated and the rat-tail man who is getting flustered.

“Unfortunately, it seems I’ve forgotten my wallet,” the man mutters.

“Well sir, I cannot give you service if you do not pay,” Ajax smiles at the man, clearly irritated.

At this point, you’re getting impatient. You decide to cut in, offering to pay for the distressed man’s coffee. You step out from behind the rat-tail man. You notice Ajax’s face turn surprised, obviously catching him off guard. 

“I'll pay for it!” you smile although you feel annoyed. 

You watch as the rat-tail man’s facial expression turns surprised.

“I couldn’t possibly make you pay for me,” he tries to talk you out of paying for him.

Ajax chimes in, not liking all the attention you give the man in front of him.

“Hun, don't waste your money on some forgetful stranger,” Ajax uses a sweet tone to mask his rude remark.

You ignore Ajax, insisting that it’s not a hassle to pay for the man’s drink. Eventually, he gives up on dissuading you. He allows you to pay for his drink, promising to remunerate you for your generosity. Rat-tail man turns around and sits at a table not too far away. 

You step up to the counter sighing in relief as you finally order a pumpkin spice latte: 2 shots of espresso, with 2 pumps of vanilla syrup, whipped cream with cinnamon on top and a warm cheese danish.

“You’re not gonna order your usual cookie too?” asks Ajax, a teasing look on his face.

“And be predictable? No thanks. Never let them know your next move,” You flash him a thumbs up and a smile.

In the background, leaning his head on his arm is rat-tail man staring intently at the both of you chatting. He smirks, feeling a wave of infatuation rush over him. He goes to pick up his drink. You don’t seem to notice, too busy talking with the barista. 

After getting your drink and food from Ajax, you sit at another table adjacent to the rat-tail man. You dig into your pastry and drink your coffee, noticing that Ajax threw in a chocolate chip cookie; your favourite. You smile at him to thank him as you stuff your fat ass face. 

Rat-tail man gets up from his table and approaches you swiftly. You barely notice him until he is sitting across from you at your table, and begins to speak.

“I’d like to thank you for paying for me although I’m a stranger. If it’s not too much, I’d like to know your name.”

“Oh-” you wipe the crumbs from your mouth, “My name is Y/N! You?” you take another bite of your cookie.

“Zhongli. Zhongli is my name,” Zhongli smiles as he sips his cup of coffee. 

Ajax notices the two of you talking. His jaw tenses at the sight, a jealous aura surrounds him so much that the customer ordering asks if he's okay. He masks his displeasure quickly, regaining a smile.

You smile back at Zhongli, the awkward silence palpable. He doesn’t say anything more for a few seconds; he inspects you closely as the silence progresses. 

"You’re quite the sight,” he murmurs.

“Calling me ugly?” You give him an annoyed glare.

“The complete opposite.” 

“No need for flattery.” You’re flustered a little at the sudden compliment.

Behind you, Ajax curses loud enough for you to hear. He burned his finger from suddenly spilling coffee on himself. You break eye contact with Zhongli as you notice Ajax in pain behind you. You rush over to check his injury, running his finger under some cold water. Unbeknownst to you, Ajax smirks at Zhongli. He’s amused by the fact that he broke up your bantering and Zhongli knows it.

Zhongli huffs, annoyed at the fact that his conversation with you was interrupted by the barista.

           After things settle down you check your watch for the time.

“Oh shit! It's 8:35 already. I've gotta split!” You hurriedly grab your bag as you rush toward the door. A tall figure stops you before you can exit. 

“Excuse me, rat-tail man,” you stare at Zhongli, unamused.

“Before you go, to make it up to you. Let me take you out to dinner tomorrow!”  

“Sure, whatever.” 

Ajax notices this exchange and glares at Zhongli. The two of you quickly exchange numbers and you run out the doors and straight to work.

Ajax looks at his phone irritated at your reply, which was hopefully a joke. He scrolls down on his screen and sees a message from Zhongli. He smirks and sets his phone down and begins to get dressed. He’s made up his mind and decided he’s going to follow you and Zhongli on your supposed date.

Arriving at the restaurant on time, you tell the host that you’re here for someone. They lead you to the table, handing you a menu. Zhongli is already browsing the menu, a drink in hand. He gives you a saccharine smile which you return. You sit across from him, grabbing the menu. You’re immediately drawn to the broccoli cheddar soup. Your mouth starts to water as you imagine the delectable taste of the soup. 

Ajax arrives at the restaurant dressed in a black tracksuit with his face covered by his hood. He sits near the bathrooms in a booth where he can observe the two of you without you noticing. (He ordered some apple juice if you wanted to know.) 

The waiter comes by your table a few moments later, jotting down the order. An awkward silence falls over the table as you’re left alone with Zhongli.

“What did you order?” he asks, tilting his head.

“Did you not hear me order?” you tease.

A random man wearing a black tracksuit walks past your table. You don’t pay much mind to it but you can't help but think he felt slightly familiar. You watch him as he sits at another booth. Zhongli notices your abrupt loss of attention, following your gaze.

“Is something the matter?” Zhongli asks.

“Oh no!” You say sheepishly “That person who walked past seemed familiar. But it’s probably just a trick of the mind.”

“Have you been getting enough sleep?” Zhongli laughs.

“I feel like you have a tendency to insult me,” You give him a playful glare as you laugh to yourself. Zhongli blushes at the sight. 

“You know that's not what I meant- but..ahem, besides that you have a beautiful smile,” Zhongli compliments.

You blush at his words. 

“Yours isn’t too bad either,” You manage to cough out the words despite your embarrassment. You can't help but notice how handsome the man in front of you is. Tall, well-built looking, pretty face the list could go on. To save yourself from sitting in a puddle of embarrassment, you decide to excuse yourself to the restroom. 

“I need to use the restroom. I’ll be right back,” you say, standing up hastily

Zhongli offers an understanding look, nodding, “Take your time.”

You mumble under your breath while walking passed Zhongli. You don't notice that he heard. He let out a little chuckle as you belined towards the restroom. You pause as you glance at the mysterious person sitting in the booth. It takes you a second before you realize who it is.

“Ajax? What are you doing here?”

He takes his hood off, smiling sheepishly, “I was hungry, so I decided to get something to eat. I didn’t know you’d be here.”

It’s odd to you, but you give Ajax the benefit of the doubt. He’s your childhood friend, you should trust him. He wouldn’t lie to you… right? It was just a coincidence. After all, this restaurant was pretty close to his apartment.

You shrug, entering the bathroom. Behind you, Zhongli has made his way to Ajax’s table. He glares at the man recognising it's the barista.

“Hello Ajax,” A murderous smile appears on his face, a mound of annoyance coating his words, “May I ask what brings you here?” 

Ajax's jaw tenses as he glares up at Zhongli standing before him.

“Just grabbing a bite,” Ajax smiles sweetly.

“Really? What a coincidence,” Zhongli’s words are filled with noticeable malice.

Zhongli swiftly grabs Ajax by the collar. “I would appreciate it if you would back off. I've noticed your little games and it’s not cute.” 

“I don't know what you're talking about” Ajax smirks and shrugs cockily.

“You know exactly what I’m talking about. They’re mine.”

“I've known them way longer than you. Who the hell do you think you are swooping in and calling them yours, you just met yesterday you don't know shit.”

“So what if you've known them for a fucking millennium.  If you wanted them you should've gone and fetched the bone while the meat was fresh.”

The tension was so thick you couldn't cut it with a chainsaw even if you tried.

“Um, what are you guys doing?” you ask, stepping back into the dining room.

You’re puzzled by how they’re acting, wondering if something is wrong. Zhongli lets go of Ajax, letting him flop unceremoniously back into his booth.

“Nothing. It was just a friendly chat,” Zhongli reassures you, glaring back at Ajax, “Right, Ajax?’

“Right,” Ajax smiles looking back at Zhongli. 

“You guys are acting strange…” you mumble, looking between the two. 

Had they met before? Why were they constantly at odds?

“It’s nothing, Zhongli here just has a problem.” Ajax passes Zhongli a note without you noticing.

Somehow you’re able to diffuse the situation, sitting back down at the table you and Zhongli were originally sitting at. Your meal arrives and it looks delicious. The both of you dig in and it only takes a measly thirty minutes for you to finish. Zhongli, ever the gentleman, pays for the meal.

“Would you like me to give you a ride home? I know you took the bus since you told me, and it’s rather crowded at this time of night with everyone leaving work,” Zhongli offers kindly.

You try to refuse, “That’s okay, I don’t mind the crowds.”

“No please, I insist. Wouldn’t you like to get home quicker? I’m sure you’ll have a busy day tomorrow at work.”

In the end, you take him up on the offer. But wait, how does he know when you work?  However, your mind is overwhelmed with exhaustion from your job earlier that day and you don’t second guess your decision.

Getting into his pristine car, you mutter your address and close your eyes. You trust him, letting sleep overtake you.

By the time you wake up, you notice you are not in your bed and there are shackles on your hands. Zhongli sits at the end of the bed. 

“Sleep well, darling?” he laughs menacingly just as you notice Ajax coming into the room. You gasp. 

“Hello, hun,” he says, smiling. “You better prepare yourself,” he says as the door shuts behind him.

Hey! I’m new to requesting so sorry if its not the best idea.

Maybe a reader who lived in a small village during when the beasts still roamed, but the reader was obvious about what they look like. And when the beast become corrupted, the only village that was not touched was the readers. But then the reader finds out that the 5 cookies that would come over a lot to visit the reader during and after the corruption are the beasts and therefore the reader cookie gets scared and flees the village? Sorry if this is long it’s just an idea I’ve had rotate in my mind since the beast yeast release

You often times had visitors in your little village, 5 mysterious Cookies. You were the local baker of the village, and they always came to seek you out, wanting to munch on the treats you had. Sometimes, they'd come all at once, sometimes alone, sometimes in duos.

They often paid you way too much, or gave you way too many nice items in exchange for your baked goods. You often tried to stop them, but they never took no for an answer.

But then.. the Beasts began to roam, causing chaos and destruction wherever they went, tearing things apart, slicing Cookies down.

You more often than not confined yourself into your bakery. Those five Cookies would still visit, though they were a little different. You didn't heed it, though. Times were different now.

Then.. all that remained was your village. Slowly, you put two-and-two together and fear filled you.

You fled. Ran as far as your legs could take you as you heard panicked and angered screams. Shrieks from the Beasts. Raging about how they should've taken you before.

You ran, ran, and ran. Hiding in places you could until, finally, word came out about how the Beasts were sealed away. Carefully, you emerged from your hiding and went to a place you hoped was safe - the Silver Kingdom.

Surely, you'd be safe there..

well. i had a dream today ft cookie run characters. golden cheese and burning spice were there. and idk, burning spice was yandere or smth and golden cheese was trying to stay tf away from him. also herb cookie was a kid who was helping golden cheese run off because fighting was pointless even in immortal form. scratches head. i never found out what happened to her afterwards
