People don't talk about yandere! Atsushi and yandere! Akutagawa and you know what, that's a real shame. Lucky you, I'm here to change that.

Tell you the truth, I feel like they both have a similar type of person they like - someone kind.

Neither one of them is used to any sort of kindness or goodness being extended towards them so this would be something that catches their attention immediately. While Chuuya and Dazai are a bit more complex with what kind of person they like, thus making it almost impossible for them to fall for the same person, Atsushi and Akutagawa aren't like that. They're simple people in their cores who only want some attention.

There's a good chance that you are nothing more than a civilian who's just living your best life and meeting either one of them was by pure chance. Atsushi is definitely the type who would fall for you if you just smiled at him and that smile would be engraved inside his mind for ages - did you really just smile at him? Him, Atsushi Nakajima?

Did he die and go to Heaven?

He's probably the type who would say "I should avoid them, I'm not good enough for them." only to accidentally follow you around town, oops. He is awkward and blushes like a schoolgirl but you always indulge him and never make fun of him. He was always met with kindness and understanding which never fails to make his limbs turn into jelly. Atsushi does his best to be there for you and he likes to be helpful in any way he can ie. carrying your bags for you, helping with chores, disposing of anyone who he thinks is a threat, all that good stuff!

Akutagawa though, he's... He's not quite so easy to woo. Well, he is but not in the same manner as Atsushi.

Those who kill better be prepared to be killed themselves, that is something that Akutagawa has said to himself since day one. He is aware of everything he does and knows all too well that with one wrong step or one bad encounter with the wrong person could end his bitter life in less than a second. He is a person who is used to conflict and abuse in any way, shape and form - just imagine how jarring it would be for him if he met someone who was genuinely nice.

Akutagawa prefers to take on solo missions so you might find him injured on the side of the street and offer yourself to help him but he is having none of it. He's limping and choking on his own blood but he keeps angrily mumbling that he is fine, he has been through worse and he does not need your stupid help.

That's what you are to him, stupid. Can't you take a hint? Leave him be. If he so wished he could tear you to shreds right where you stood, there would be nothing left of you and no one would be able to recognize you, no one to claim your body.

Just as he was about to voice out his thoughts those same words die on his tongue as he takes one good look at you and for a split second his heart is no longer his own. It leaps forward with an emotion he has never felt before as an overwhelming feeling of softness takes over.

Despite his gruff and honestly downright horrible attitude he is grateful to you. He owes you now and he kind of hates a little you because of that but that's besides the point.

Akutagawa makes no effort to be in your life like Atsushi but he lingers, almost like a shadow. Blink and you'll miss him, he always disappears into the crowd just before you even think about calling out to him, his only trace of even being there is his just barely visible black coat that flutters along with the wind as he casually strolls away to the opposite direction.

He would however take great offense if he saw you with Atsushi.

Bitter anger overcomes him as he spends his days following you and the weretiger around, a permanent scowl etched onto his face as he is forced to watch that stupid beast slobber all over you like a dog in heat. "He is pathetic and weak." Akutagawa thinks to himself.

"He could never protect you like I could."

He's playing dumb but Atsushi is aware that he is being followed especially if he is with you, his favorite person. His senses have never led him astray and he is quick to figure out the identity of the stalker. He's nervous, does he make the first move and confront Akutagawa? What does he even want? Days turn into weeks and Atsushi's patience is on thin ice, he has to know.

Strong as he is, Akutagawa was sloppy, tracking him was a cakewalk. He hid himself in the shadows close to the building you were currently in and was most likely waiting for you to exit.

His attack was swift and merciless, pinning Akutagawa to the ground was almost too easy. Naturally, Akutagawa's troublesome ability was quick to retaliate as Atsushi could feel Rashomon's sharp talons being pressed against his back meanwhile Atsushi's own claws nearly slit Akutagawa's throat.

They were neck and neck. Had they not been so close to so many civilians there was no doubt that a horrible brawl would have happened but due to their specific circumstances they called a truce... Barely.

If looks could kill Atsushi would be buried six feet under but he felt no fear, all he wanted was to understand what Akutagawa was doing. The man in black scoffs and turns his back to the weretiger, as if Atsushi was already supposed to know the answer.

"I am in their debt." he says as a matter of factly.

"I could never allow you out of all people to keep that person safe."

Oh his words stung... but Atsushi bit his tongue and calmly (read clenched teeth) asked for a proper explanation and after what felt like hours he finally got one.

Akutagawa has the emotional intelligence of a rock and Atsushi knows this. He is frustrated with the fact that Akutagawa wants to be so close to you but he knows he can't beat him nor can it happen the other way around.

There really was no getting out of this.

In that moment Atsushi made a split second decision that was either going to make his life Hell or maybe, just maybe, a little bit easier.

The two of them made a deal - they were both going to keep an eye out for you. Neither one could be too pushy or demanding, they needed to play fair.

As much as they hated each other they could at least agree that your safety was the most important thing of all.

Akutagawa sat at a small table round table at your place. It was decorated with all kinds of pastries and small cakes, as well as some tea. He looked at you with an annoyed gaze, but also a hint of a soft glance sent in your area.

He patted the chair across from him, gesturing for you to sit.

As you sit across from him he immediately hands you a cup of tea, and picks up his own. He takes a sip, as he glances around the room awkwardly. He eventually spoke up.

"So do you like tea?" He asks

"Yeah."

Silence again.

"....You said you liked figs right?" You ask mindlessley not really considering your words too much.

His eyes widened, suprised you had spoken. He put his cup down and asked,

"Do you like figs too?"

He picked up one and offered it out to you, looking at you with a straight expression

You just stare at him for a few seconds as you think about how the tension is slowly melting.

He held it there, watching as you stared at the fig in his hand. After a few moments, he spoke again.

"Are you just going to sit there or are you going to eat it..?"

You chuckle as you respond "Still the same old, same old." As you reach out about to grab it.

He rolled his eyes, as he moved the hand holding the fig towards your face, forcing you to take it.

"Just take it before I shove it down your throat."

You take his words as the truth and decide to try the fig.

Right after, you sip your tea, that Akutagawa had suprisingly offered to make.

He let out a quiet scoff, as he leaned back in his chair and picked up his tea again.

"Do you like it, or is it not to your liking.."

"Its fine.."

He raised an eyebrow, suprised that finally something had made you speechless.

" 'Fine'? It's a gift, a little more gratitude would be appreciated.."

You let out an airy laugh as you say, "Right, my apologies."

He raised his hand, as if signaling you to stop apologizing.

"Just be a bit more honest.. I don't expect you to like every thing I give you, especially if you hate something just say so..I don't have all day to spend on useless pleasantries.." he says blankly. Expected.

Suddenly you had an idea,

"I'll note that. Have you ever had these?" I ask offering him some biscuts I had recently found, and have had a hyperfixation of lately.

He glanced down at the biscuits for a moment, taking the offered one. He looked at it for a few moments, then up at you.

"This is one of the few times you've been friendly.." He mumbled, before taking a small bite of the biscuit.

He finished the biscuit, but his gaze never left you. It was almost as if he was... staring with a slight hint of something you couldn't quite read.

He didn’t speak another word, but that small hint of emotion in his eyes never left. Eventually he looked away, letting out a small scoff.

"They are good right!" You ask hopefully since well these werent too sugary or too bland. A perfect flavor for your taste buds.

"These...aren't bad.." He looked back at you, a bit suprised by your sudden outburst. He let out a small scoff and tried to hide the faint color of red on his face.

"Do you like them?" You ask sitting up properly, awaiting his response.

"Yes, somewhat," He muttered, looking away again as he sips his tea.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Affection and love is something completely new to Akutagawa. He will be really stoic, but it’s clear as day when you look into his eyes that he is absolutely head over heels in love with you. He’s touches are feather light and shy at first. He is afraid of hurting his sweetheart. After some time his touches are more constant and possessive. He will give you antiques and spend time with you (you can’t help, but get goosebumps from the way he is staring you down). He will gladly watch a movie after a long day with you, though it’s more him staring you down with his obsessive gaze.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Akutagawa isn’t really sure of want he wants for the future. Love is completely foreign to him, but he definitely wants you to love him back. After some years he would like to marry you. He isn’t too keen on having children, since he is already worried about you and his job so he doesn’t wants more to add to his worries.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

He will withhold your food for some days (maximum three days if you have been really bad). He believes fear is the greatest motivator (he was motivated by fear in all his youth). He won’t ever physical harm you, at least that’s what he claims. He will not let you read any books or consume any type of media if he means you have been acting up. If he finds you attempting to climb out of the window, he will with a stone cold expression drag you by your arm to the bedroom and look the door. He will bind you with a chain to the bed leg and only let you out to use the restroom. If he deems it necessary, he might lift you up with Rashomon and throw you against the wall. Enough to scare you, but not enough to harm you.

Akutagawa would break you, but not on purpose. He had entertained the thought from time to time when he first got to know you. He liked the idea of you being docile instead of you kicking and screaming, but he would be lying if he said he didn’t like your strong personality. When he broke you, it was a mere accident. So, I’m not sure how many are aware of what MBTI is, but I got a few requests on making an analysis about this for BSD MEN and incorporating their ideal type! darlings’ MBTI types as well, so I did. (I kind of promised that I would do it, so now is the time.)❤️

I want you to know, it wasn’t intentional to place one type as the ideal match for multiple characters. I thought it through thoroughly and did my best to remain as logical and diverse in MBTI types as possible. It’s just that strong Fe users are often a good match for broken people and…well…BSD men are mostly broken.

For hours Rashomon's maw destroyed anything, that was on its way. For hours Rashomon's claws tear through walls and pavement.

And there was Gin.

Every morning, after waking up, she was writing pages and pages in notebook.

Only ones he saw one of the pages.

One time, Akutagawa met Dazai during one of his countless tries to get to the Entity. To tear its throat!

Akutagawa's voice was firm.

"Should I make them suffer?"

Dazai's answer was emotionless.

"You had to get in line."

Was it a blessing? An order? Akutagawa will honor it nevertheless.

But one day, time reset.

And he, once again, was a sixteen-year-old boy, who killed Mimic's solder

And made Dazai-san angry.

"No. You will wait. You won't seek them. Right now, you will only listen to their voice. Their words. And pay attention to their emotions."

Akutagawa just can't put his finger on it. He understands, why they want to get to the real world. But why so many people want to meet them? The Guiding Light?

dazai osamu's hands are stained with blood, and he knows. he knows just how many fallen bodies it took to fully coat his two palms with red. enemies' blood, the last red ink written by his pals, all is but another layer of the skin on dazai osamu's palm. his hands are bloody with fingers that only know nothing but to take. give dazai osamu another pair of hands and watch how it becomes soaked in blood. give him another pair and witness how the fingers are not enough to count the lives he took. since dazai osamu is a bloody wreck with bloodier hands. all his hands ever knew is how to sin, how to anger the gods, how to be an irony in churches.

that is until he found you. until his hands, with its blood and gore, ached to reach for something. until his fingers, dripping with red,  started to cross themselves to wish for your well-being… for the devil to not take you away from him, a devil himself. dazai osamu is cursed with bloody hands but his palms learned how to kiss for a prayer when he found you.

his hands, sinner they are more than him, became a bloody paradox. it learned how to pray for a blessing undeserved by his sinful hands. dazai osamu is not a religious man, daring life and death with his suicidal attempts. but when he found you bathed in colors from the church's stained glasses, dazai osamu learned that angels do exist. that god took the longest in one of his creations.

he signs the cross with his bloody fingers and dip his hands in holy water before kneeling, not to the altar but before your figure, as his trembling hand finds a place on your cheek.

and when dazai osamu's palm lovingly carress your cheek, he can see the blood from his hand tainting your skin.

chuuya nakahara "on the train, we swapped seats. you wanted the window and i wanted to look at you."

it's laughable how chuuya nakahara is always there for someone who will never choose him first. it's hilarious how the skilled mafioso keeps choosing people who cannot even pick him as the first option. an option, a mere one, is all chuuya ever knew. to dazai osamu who never actually chose him, to mori who rather have dazai, to the red-haired hag who'd rather choose the kid. chuuya nakahara is only seen if the first option is nowhere to be found.

but not to one. not to you.

it's funny how chuuya nakahara's ability is gravity manipulation when all that stabilizes him to the ground is your words. when you told him that you want him even if he hesitantly asked if you are sure that you really want him. chuuya can never forget the day that you got offended when he asked if he's the one you really want, not dazai or akutagawa or practically anyone else. since it is strange to be finally found after being invisible for so long.

and as he stare at you, drawn to that window view you so much craved, chuuya nakahara can't but feel grateful that finally… finally someone saw him. not as a third or second option. you chose him.

and if you'll tear your eyes away from the view outside the window to face him, you'll see it plainly in his eyes: you're the cure to his tainted sorrow.

ryuunosuke akutagawa is a silent lover. he love with his actions and not with his words. his love is tainted in black, with the darkness seemingly always behind his back. but with all the darkness and color of the abyss present in his being… he can't seem to find the ink that will pen words that you deserve. since akutagawa loves with his actions and not his words. he'll shield you from bullets instead of telling you he'll protect you. he'll slaughter his own allies to save you instead of saying that you're the only one that matters. he'll take a claw to his heart instead of saying that you're his heart anyway.

since ryuunosuke akutagawa's love is too steep, too high. that even mere words can no longer reach it. that his vocal chords cannot contain it. ryuunosuke akutagawa decided to fall silent since no words can express what he feels anyway. his love, cannot be expressed with mere words. but perhaps the hand behind your nape and the bloody lips on yours is an indication. perhaps the claw that ripped his heart can express what his words cannot.
