Jade had always been fascinated by you, a beautiful siren. With the tail illuminating the dark sea, you wrapped it with his and Floyd's.

Enchanting yet deadly, Jade remembered your voice well. Floyd was none the wiser as well for falling for you. But who wouldn't? The three of you used to play together, tail and tail. It was an innocent crush but when one matured, things no longer stayed the same.

It was around the time Azul had started to be prominent with his magic that you proposed the idea you wanted to live in the land. It came off as an unpleasant surprise for the three of them.

To live in the land? What luxuries could you not afford in the sea to the point you wanted to live in the land?

The Leech family had always had your back, supporting you, a lone siren, financially and mentally.

If he had to put it in a word then it would be ungrateful.

A selfish and foolish decision. It didn't take too long for them to pry out the true answer to this idea.

Because you had fallen in love with a prince you saved.

Two of Azul's hearts broke, one from a heartbreak and one from shock. Floyd was enraged by the idea of you going up there alone without their supervision while Jade remained indifferent on the outside.

But deep down, his mind swirled to something.

Sister has grown out of our confinement.

You were no longer compliant with Jade and Floyd. You were no longer the siren who had no curiosity whatsoever beyond the landscape that they constructed for you.

When did it all go wrong? Jade thought he had 'raised' you well within his terrarium.

One thing for sure was that once the terrarium had shattered, you could not restore it.

You left them three without notice or trace, either out of fear they wouldn't let you go or you were too blinded by love. No matter how hard they sang or called out to you, they could never see you anymore. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years.

Their tails and arms grew larger and longer but they could never wrap it around yours.

The three sea creatures would cry, either tears or pearls, longing for your return.

Floyd had always enjoyed playing with you or sleeping with your lullaby. You were his accelerator and brake and your existence made his days.

Azul had always been in love with you the moment you and the Leech brothers approached him. You didn't bully him for being a crybaby and only teased him. It was surprisingly a childhood crush that lasted until he was an adult.

Jade. Jade was pained but could anyone see it beyond his exterior? Weren't you supposed to be his? Either as something he raised or as something he would mate. To lose your mate out of a sudden with no trace of whatsoever, what else could he do? If anything, he was your first and you were his first.

He befriended you first. He gave you friends, Floyd and Azul. He convinced his parents to sponsor your life. He never did anything out of hand to you. What more could you have wanted? What more could that human you fell in love with have?

And apparently, that prince had nothing. He was incapable of going against his own mother's 'absolute' words. He was a spineless man.

Riddle Rosehearts. The crown prince to the Queendom of Roses, a kingdom ruled with an iron fist. It was merely a coincidence when Jade suddenly heard your voice, a barely audible voice. But he knew it better than anyone it was your voice. Your voice was like music and a mantra for him, it was only natural it was etched in his skin and heart.

When peeking up from the sea, he could see you who had matured to perfection along with a rather short red-haired man near you. His primal instinct was telling him to swim to you and yank you down, nails and teeth digging into your flesh and legs. It would definitely feel better to relieve his stress this way than beating the hell out of those scoundrels right?

But he knew it was impossible. There was magic wrapped all over you, presumably cast by the red-haired man.

"Time to go back, dear. You might catch a cold if we stayed up too late."

You looked at him from your shoulder and stared into the distance again. The sea reminded you of home, but Riddle was also your newfound home. You nodded at him and walked to his side. Walked. That was his first time seeing you walk. It did have its own charm but he preferred you underwater where he reigned best.

At that point in time, Jade decided to hang around the sea you were nearby while tracking down Riddle's identity and information. He took note of when you were allowed out near the sea when you were allowed out of the palace, and when you were out singing on the balcony.

In his mismatched eyes and ideologies, you looked like a lonely, frail maiden. Were you forced to stay with him? If so, why did you comply with Riddle but not him? On what basis could he not have what Riddle had? Because Riddle was a beautiful man while he was a sea creature? A moray eel bound in the sea? Because you had sated your curiosity with him and decided to move on?

Unacceptable.

His eyes and mind were clouded with false judgments and illogical accusations. He had buried his feelings for so long, never expressing his disdain to others. Just like a whale, he exploded, exposing guts for the seagulls to feast on.

Would you weep if he really did explode? Or would you be too focused on Riddle?

Either way, he was determined to drag you back to the sea, either with legs or a tail.

To be Riddle Roseheart's wife was to bear the humiliation of his mother, the Queen. A nobody who expected to marry her son, the crown prince? Fortunately or unfortunately for you, Riddle was really in love with you to the point he staked on everything just to have you right next to him.

But he didn't have enough to bet on and could only win half the pot. You remained next to him not as his wife but as his lover. His mother and wife were against it but seeing the amount of suitors swarming at you made him break a nerve or two. Either from miracle or deception, he had you take the position of the crown prince's lover, unknown to the public but a well-known secret to the higher-ups.

One of Jade's father's colleagues was a human from the Queendom of Roses, a higher-up. It wasn't hard for him to obtain all sorts of information when that was the case.

You were so pitiful yet you still complied with him. It was because of the magic that restricted you from escaping right?

But the way you kissed and hugged him told him otherwise. How could someone be blinded by love to this extent? Did you lose a screw? Or did he mess your brain up?

"Siiiiiiiisteeeeeerrr~"

A distant voice called out to you. You looked around and saw something poked from the sea. Teal-colored hair with a streak of black hair. Looking at those droopy eyes, it was unmistakenly Floyd. You immediately approached closer to the sea but not close enough to walk on the sea.

"Floyd!" You called out to him happily, waving your hand to him. Floyd observed your surroundings one more time, Riddle was nowhere to be found. As planned.

He swam closer to you and you crouched down to his eyes level, he was careful not to splash any sea water on you.

"It's been so long, sis. Where have you been? I miss you so much~"

You giggled at his remarks, clingy as usual. Webbed hands holding yours in place, he laid his head on your chest.

"Sis, are you married? What's the ring for?" He asked as he felt the metal wrapped around your finger. Delicate and intricate, a ring befitting of a maiden in love.

"Uhm, not really...? Maybe yes, maybe no."

"Why's that?"

"Because my lover has been officially married to another woman." You spoke with a subtle frown on your face. No matter how much you were conditioned by Riddle, a heart could never be tricked huh?

"Sis, I also love you! Let's get married for real then!"

His words caught you off guard and you started clearing your throat out of embarrassment. Just as you were about to shrug it off as a joke, his tone dropped an octave.

"I mean it. If you are unsure, come back to the sea and we'll talk more about it."

You shivered at his words. Sea. Sea. Painful.

You instinctively pushed Floyd away from you with a yelp, hands wrapped around you while trying to regain your composure. Floyd crawled toward you and his webbed hand grabbed your ankle, dragging you to him, "I mean it."

"N-no! No! Stop! Help! Someone!"

Perhaps it was your pleas, perhaps it was the magic detecting your distress that had knights running to your aid. The numbers were still within Floyd's ability and he took them all down without any help. The more you struggled, the closer you were to the sea. The boiling seawater. With each flick of his long tail, the sea water hit your skin and you cried out of pain.

Floyd laughed out maniacally, "It seems like Jade was right. Sis, you were wrapped with this sick magic that won't allow you to swim back to our home!"

It didn't take a long time for Riddle to come with more knights at such a convenient time. Not that Azul couldn't handle. His eight arms swat everyone away from you yet Riddle was a persistent prince. Fire shot toward everyone but you, either from Riddle's magic or Floyd's.

"Riddle! Save me! It hurts!"

Seeing you crying for help from your captor was not a pleasant view for Floyd, evident from how deep he dug his nails into your ankle. Your shriek pierced through his eardrums and all Riddle saw was red. Even when more help came, you were still on the land. They could have yanked you down but they didn't. As though they were waiting for the finale.

"What are you bastards doing?! Secure her and capture these scoundrels now! Do it right now if you don't want your head rolling!"

This time, all of the knights charged forward and Floyd tossed you toward Azul's embrace. And right next to Azul was Jade with a dagger held at your heart.

"HALT!" Riddle yelled atop of his lungs. His eyes widened at you and Jade's hand holding a dagger so close to your life force.

Jade snickered at his pale face before starting his speech, "I guess you have no intention of letting her go no matter how many men have fallen."

The blade slowly tugged your dress down, "I was kind enough to wait for a change of heart from you,"

Lies. He just wanted to see your distressed nature and they just want to get back at him.

"But you left me with no choice but to do this. If we can't have her back in the sea, then we surely can have her body."

You squirmed beneath the tip of the blade and Azul's embrace. You could have sworn you felt him lightly nip at your ear as though trying to calm you down.

But who could be calm when death is this close?

"J-Jade... please..." Your voice came out hoarser than you expected. Your lips were trembling and so was your body. Ah, you were finally crying for help to him.

"What do you say, Crown Prince Rosehearts? Undo the spell and we will let her live safe and sound under the sea,"

There was no such thing as a sea witch benevolent anymore. No contract or anything. Just pure threat. Your brain could not think of a solution any of them could come up with yet you wish Riddle would find a way to save you. He would save you because he loved you, right?

Riddle mustered himself for his final call,

"Capture or kill these three sea creatures and bring me back my lover, dead or alive in their hand, I want her body back."

If your heart had not sunk from the arrangement you were in, it surely had the moment you heard his order. Just before you could say anything, Jade plunged the dagger deep where your heart was supposed to be. Seeing your dying state, Riddle held nothing back and cast more spells that were harmful to you and Azul. He had nothing to lose anymore.

He didn't mind turning your body into ashes if that would mean they couldn't retrieve your body as well. If he couldn't have you, no one could as well.

The outcome was that Riddle was left kneeling by the sea. He staked everything and lost everything while Azul did not lose even half his pot.

All sort of spell is bound to have a roundabout weakness to it. Just how many times must Riddle stake everything for something he could never have completely?

The moment Riddle’s magic hit you, it reacted with the dagger’s drug, immediately undoing the spell he cast on you.

Azul was wagering on whether you'd live or not while Riddle was wagering on the retrieval of your dead body.

Ironic. Azul wagered on his drug and dagger that was aimed at your very life yet miraculously or by fate, he won the gamble.

Just how many times must Riddle lose to miracle or fate? No matter how much or what he staked on, he couldn't win.

He couldn't win from the wager he had with his life.

He couldn't win from the wager of crowning you.

He couldn't win from keeping you out of the sea.

He couldn't win from the three sea creatures.

Whether you died or not, it was not something he would ever find out. Whatever that happened to you, either you turned into foam or survived with a pair of legs or tail, he'd never know.

Just when Riddle tried to walk into the sea, his skin burned against the sea water.

Riddle scoffed, “Phah! It's that stupid Moray with the dagger’s work, wasn't it? He waited for me, not for her sake.”

As expected of a Moray.

As say Crewel!Reader say visit only to see Vil after his shoot as they both are child hood friends and both are comfortable together to be themselves, and with Azul she came to see the Coral reefs with the octotrio by using potion to change form and she is the most prettiest siren and have zero interest with the prince and enjoy being with the octotrio

Its the party after the modeling shoot 

Vil is trying his best to find you past the various sponsors and guests of the party

All to find that you are talking to none other than Neige Leblanche

And if Vil had known you for less he’d be discouraged 

But he knows your searching eyes behind your glasses

It wasn’t your first time transforming to a mer form, especially for your friends in the coral sea

But either way, they still swoon when they see you swim over to them

They’re working diligently preparing for the grand opening of a Monstro-Lounge sister location

And during a fairly light flow, they see you begin to swim over 

only for you to be stopped by the red-headed prince

“Hi! You’re so pretty! What’s your name? I’m Rielle! Wanna eat at that restaurant with me?”

You swim over him 

Casually answering questions as you make your way to the doorway

“Sorry…Relle, was it? I plan to eat alone for my friends have reserved a table for me. I doubt they’d feel free to let you join in on that.”

“Don’t worry I probably know them! I’m sure they won’t mind if I pay for the both of us-”

In that moment Floyd and Jade appear at your side as you say your parting words

“I don’t think you're hearing me, Rill. I’m eating with someone dear to me. Not with you, excuse me.”

Swimming with them you finally link arms with Azul who leads you to the reserved table

Rielle is still watching how the eels and octopus mer have you smiling beautifully

“Wow they’re really popular…guess I’ll just have to invite them on my own next time!”

He’s optimistic and his jealousy hides behind delusion

So maybe he didn’t get you this time

But he will soon

what's the best day to sail than this day?

but the prince doesn't like the sea,he just want to go back to his room and read some books or maybe even paint if he's in the mood.

but his father has insist for him to go with them.

he's seating on the edge of the ship,watching everyone working and his father telling the captain how long they will sail and when they will return,expect him,he don't have anything to do.

his father took him in a hurry and he didn't bring with him anything to wast time on.

it was a normal sailing everything went fine and boring.

it's dinner time,the prince and his father is eating in a room alone,They're on their way back to the shore.

suddenly they feel the ship moving in a wierd way,right and left.

it was a fainting movement so no one cared about it,but soon it started swaying violently,the planets fell on the ground and the two royals doing they're best to not roll with the movement of the ship.

"I'm going to see what's happening,you stay here son." the king said and start walking to the door carefully.

it's been some minutes since the king left.

the prince started feeling dizzy,he's gonna throw up in any minute

the last thing he remember is the window breaks and the water start to fill the room.

you were having your fun with the animals in the sea.

you've always loved playing with these creature and staying alone rather than being with the rest of the family.

you swam randomly, not having a specific place in mind,when you saw something or someone felling down, it looked like a human.

you're family has warned you from humans alot saying they're a dangerous creatures,and if they knew about you no one will stay well.

but you were curious plus he was nearly dead.

then this idea crossed his mind.

he ordered the Guards, reporters, and preachers to hang posters of you, and whoever can bring you to him will get several million.

"come in" the prince said as someone knocked on his door

the king entered with a frown "what's the meaning of this?"

he was holding one of the posters.

"Do you know what the people are saying about you right now?"

"i don't care" he didn't even look at his father,turns the pages of the book.

the prince slams the book shot "no you won't"

"i will,and that's that,i just wanted to tell you to stop all that" with that the king left.

well if his father going to stand in his face,then he'll do it himself.

the night was cold,but he didn't care.

he'll stay here at the ship untill he sees a glimp of you.

he already put a pool full of sea water.

he's so sure he'll catch you,after all he spends most of his time searching on how to attract a mermaid.

Pearls were easy to obtain, as he was a prince and owned many of these shining jewels.

he put Many of them on the ship, until it becomes shone at night.

Many of the seaving crew were there, ready to catch something they did not know what is it or if it was real,but they couldn't disobey the prince after all

as soon as the prince saw a Shadow coming his way, his eyes lit up.

he orders the crew to get ready as they bring the net closer to the edge.

as soon as you put your head up a net was thrown at you.

you struggles to get out but it was too late,they already lifting you up.

you felt yourself getting in a water again and when you opened your eyes you saw the same human you saved looking at you with a wierd look.

would it be better if you let him die that day?

that was fun to write!

also if you're confused at what happened when the window breaks on the prince.

it was just his part who broke the rest of the ship was a little better but it was sinking from behind (the place where the prince was), but they were able to reach the shore before it sank completely.

i’ve had these thoughts for awhile.

so like, gn!darling who LOVES the beach and everything to do with it.

gn!darling who collects water and keeps the beach clean and visits whenever they have the chance.

gn! darling who has loved the beach for as long as they can remember and secretly wishes that sirens and mermaids were real.

little does gn!darling know, every time they visit the beach three siren princes are watching them and falling more and more in love with them every time they visit the beach.

so eventually, the sirens scare everyone off , but gn!darling has so sense of self preservation so they keep coming and one day they get in the water by themselves and meet the three yan!siren princes.

yan!siren princes let gn!darling go but promise they’ll see them again.

*This is just a fun short story I wrote for the class I am taking, and I just decided to upload it here! Some parts are influenced by the yandere fic I already made lol! This is purely fictional writing!*

Synopsis: All you have known is peace, all until you get captured by a group of men that unlocks a different side to you. You then meet a prince, a prince driven with a bloodlust for power, and he gives you a proposition.

Men. All they do is bother you.

Your heart beats fast.

Your vision blurs as the familiar blues turn into browns, and your eyes fixate on the woodwork and rustic charm of what is considered to be a ship. The rope burns onto your skin, and your body contorts into an unnatural state as she is hoisted onto the boat.

Your tail thrashes and you try to bite your way out of the trap—teeth gnashing and chewing—and you cry out as youre is hit with a paddle. Your head starts to ring, and your eyes widen as you see the group of men in front of you.

Their garments are quite different from yours; in fact, they are fully dressed from head to toe. Their clothes are all dark, and their blouses have ruffles at the top. They wear boots, have swords at their sides, trench coats, and carry a heavy musk of sweat and battle.

With a sharp and intimidating blade, one of the men cuts through the net. Multiple hands grab for you, and your world comes to a pause as you panic. You feel like you can't breathe and your lungs are about to collapse. You scratch and attempt to plead with your captors, your nails digging into their forearms, drawing long red streaks.

But they do not listen.

“Mighty thang we got ‘ere!” one of the men says, his hair darkened by the rain peltering their bodies. He has a rough scar running down his face– a deep incision that caused his skin to never heal.

You can see a prominent and yellow snaggletooth whenever he speaks. He has an air of authority surrounding him, and his hat has gold embellishments compared to the regular silver everyone else has. That one particular man holds a predatory gaze, his eyes set ablaze with a whirlwind of mischief. “Tie her up, we could use a beaut like her on top of the mantle.” 

Laughter fills your ears as the group of men start to agree, and you feel a chill run down your spine as they touch your smooth cheek, their fingers trailing down to your jawline, and moving lower to your collarbones.

Each touch feels intrusive as they pet your silk-like hair condescendingly. “We could send her to the owner at The Pearl of the Eye; I know they are lookin’ for new girls to show off,” another says, his arms crossed as he leaned against the post.

“Aye, tha’ a popular place.” The man with the highest regard starts to pet his scruffy beard in thought. He then catches your withering glare, and a flash of amusement crosses his face. “Feisty one, aren’t ya? I know men who would pay a pretty coin for that temperament.”

“Keep it up, trollop.” he snickers, his finger moving to boop your nose. “You’ll make me thousands of gold in no time.”

Your pupils turn to slits as you bite down onto the man's finger, a metallic taste bursting into your mouth, satisfaction lingering on your tongue. His blood becomes sweet nectar, and with renewed strength and clarity, you unhinge your jaw and attempt to swallow the human whole.

Your hunger becomes endless, and a gnawing angry feeling grows into an insatiable appetite for flesh. For skin to be peeled off meat. For meat to be taken from bone, and their vocal chords to be a part of yours. Your body adjusts to the change, your throat expanding to the men’s silhouette as they traveled down your gullet. Their screams were words of encouragement, egging you to continue.

Humans, and men in particular, tasted different from the fish you were used to. They were heavier, harrier, bloodier, and infested with nasty ambition of lust and pride. You revel in the taste of their guilt, their fear, and the past memories of their wickedness. 

No matter how hard the group of men tried to band up and defeat the siren, their swords were no match for your unwavering hatred. You waste zero time to snap multiple necks, your teeth digging into any area that you could rip into shreds, and your stomach becomes full off of their disgustingly filthy urine soaked bodies.

One last man is standing, his eyes wide as saucers and his tears roll down his pale cheeks. He looks young and his uniform doesn't fit him properly. Your nails help your body to crawl towards the shaking figure, he can't even defend himself, and the weapon in his hand shakes. The wind continues to whip around them, the clouds darken as a loud cry comes from the sky, and an array of purple and dark blue strikes down on the earth. The boy yelps when you have an iron grip on his ankle. 

Unbeknownst to the siren, a smaller vessel has pulled up to the larger ship.

“I wouldn't touch him, if I were you.” The voice is cutthroat, a harsh demand that sends chills down the spine of the scariest and deadliest creature. You wince as you feel a sharp pain on your scalp, and your hair is now wrapped around a stranger's hand as they yank you back. You crash into a barrel filled with treasures as you are thrown across the ship, and a bunch of diamonds and pearls spill onto the floor. 

A tall and proud man stands in front of you, he has pitch black hair that flows in the wind, and his blue eyes shine like bright lights. The unknown man's presence is regal-like, his back straight like an arrow, and his face is trained with unusual niceties. Then the little boy ran into his embrace, and his arms wrapped around him tightly… all before the man pulls out a dagger from his sheath.

Without a single thought, a clean cut to the throat separated the head from the body, and the man’s lips stretched into a wide eerie smile. He isn't phased by the limp body falling to his feet and the blood spilling onto his perfect shoes.

“You… you are exactly what I need.” The man’s eyes are glued to yours and he stares down at you. “My name is Prince....” 

The prince that stands before you is practically last in line for the throne. That is what you could surmise from his little rant. He is sadly and disappointingly the second youngest, and he isn't close to the crown and title, at all.

He paced around, one hand on his heart, and the other continued to grip onto the hair of the decapitated head. “I need to be king. I am the only one fit to rule the land. It is like the gods have forsaken me, and they decided to punish me for no apparent reason.”  

The man huffs, his eyes narrowing. The waves crash against the sides of the boat, but he stands his ground. “Six siblings ahead of me, and one measly brother behind me– does that seem fair to you? That this kingdom will fall into the hands of dumb and dumber, and eventually to the offspring of the said dumb and dumber?!” His voice is so loud it even rivals the onslaught of thunder, and you can hear a hint of distraught on his otherwise clear and steady tone.

“This is where you come in.” He stops right in front of you. “I can keep you fed, and I can give you all the riches you could ever want. Marry me, carry my children and lineage, and get rid of all of my siblings.” The prince throws the head at your tail, and with a tilt of the ship, it slowly rolls towards you.

The boy's jaw is slack, a tooth chipped from the impact of the fall, and his blue eyes are wide open in fear. He has similar tiny freckles around his nose like the prince, the same facial structure with the high cheekbones, and a tall nose.  

“Eat up. You’ll need your strength.”

━━━ Thursday’s consist of our members swamped in study guides and reviews and a few arguing with each other on something small as what shade of y/f/c is your favorite. These tasks (and physical fights, sometimes) will help equip the boys for the quiz the following day. The quiz will feature questions such as “how many moles are on Y/N’s face?”, “down below, write the following in Y/N’s handwriting”, “how old was Y/N when they lost their first tooth?”, and “name off as many of Y/N’s mannerisms as you possibly can.” They all excel grandly, scarily. Their pure ability to know you better than you know yourself without an inkling of your knowledge is terrifying, but with the purest of intentions. After all, they think of you and let their mind, heart, and soul melt into enchantment and blushing irises.

━━━ The day has come! Quiz night, where the members will be inquired on their knowledge with prizes varying in shades of infatuation and devotion. Their rewards are displayed before them as if the objects were taunting them and prodding them of their undying obsession. Awards adorned in sweltering sweetness consist of sweaters, plushies, voice memos (jin secretly recorded), jewelry, pillows, and other miscellaneous items you have blessed with your touch of paradise. But, these gifts also can become more brutal. Some nights, you’ll find your used chapstick, fingernails, chewed pencils, locks of your hair, soda cans you’ve drunk out of, chewed gum, toothbrushes, used bandaids, tissues and old polaroids that the members are all aching to possess. No matter the lines crossed, anything remotely related to their summer daydream has them misty and longing. Always and forever, they are yours.
