Yamagata: 44th “Meeting to raise Yamagata maiko” presentation on 22. February

March

Nara: Misedashi of Maiko Kikumame (菊まめ) on 9. March

April

Tokyo-Kagurazaka: the 36th Kagurazaka Odori on 6. April

Tokyo-Mukojima: Kingyo (きん魚) became a senior Hangyoku

Yuzawa: Misedashi of Maiko Fukino (富紀乃) in late April

May

Ôsaka-Nanchi: debut of Geiko Tamako (玉幸), Tamizuru (多美鶴) and Yaezuru (八重鶴) on 13. May. 

Niigata: debut of Furisode-san Chiemi (千笑), Hanae (華栄) and Hiroka (ひろ佳) on 17th May

Tokyo-Shinbashi: the 95th Azuma Odori ran from 23.-24. May 

Nara/Gifu: the 4th Yamato Odori/Naramachi Hanakari (ならまち花あかり) was held on 26. May in Kashihara city with GeiMaiko and Hôkan from Aizuwakamazu, Fukui, Izunagaoka, Nara, Gifu and Matsuyama

Tokyo-Kagurazaka: debut of Hangyoku Ichina (いち菜)

Tokyo-Mukôjima: debut of Hangyoku Tsukushi (つくし), Geisha Kanako (加奈子) and Yuki (優貴)

Yamagata: Maiko Botan (ぼたん) retired

Fukuoka: Reika (麗華) became a Geigi, Kotone (琴音), Nono (乃々) and Koyachiyo (小八千代) retired (?)

Kanazwawa-Higashi: Tôko (唐子) changed her affiliation from Yamatomi to Nakamura

Kanazawa-Nishi: Junko (純子) changed her affiliation from Asanoya to Hananoyado

Kanazawa-Nishi: Yaeharu (八重治), formerly the most senior Geigi of Asanoya, retired.

June

Shimizu: debut of Shinjin Geigi Iroha (いろは) on 3. June

Nara: Misedashi of Maiko Kikunami (きく浪) on 6. June

Ôsaka: Opening of Ochaya Tsuruya (つるや) in Soemon-chô also on 6. June
