Ah, yes. Dedicating your entire life and career in hopes of just meeting the one guy who defended you once in fourth grade is just something friends do.

This post is simply pointing out the sheer insanity of Phoenix’s behavior and how what he does is not by any stretch what friends typically do for each other and nor is it healthy, regardless of the circumstances. Hi. IMO I agree with long theory, anon.

I have never said this specific theory out loud in fear I was projecting my own relationship past into that narrative. However, I have experience in this specific dynamic & thought I could share some examples of why it isn't even close to delulu. If anyone is interested.

I had my best friend fall for me while he was with another woman. It happened accidentally, over time, by us becoming close & working together for 6 years. I denied it all for a long time until someone close to us both called HIM out, point blank. In real life, uncoupling without causing damage to everyone involved is extremely difficult. Maybe N didn't want to be a rebound, but also, maybe L didn't want anyone to think bad about both of them for "breaking up a relationship." Outside influences/opinions can be detrimental to a new relationship, especially when work is involved.

The idea of A, J, or even E being a decoy is extremely plausible (we had a plan to use one, too). Was it screwed up? Absolutely, but... sometimes, to be together, it has to wait to be shown to the outside world & we WEREN'T EVEN FAMOUS. So what did we do? We continued how we always did with friends & we eventually snuck around (once he broke up) to get alone time. As millennials, I wore a chain with his initial, we posted ambiguous songs, lyrics, thirst traps for each other & OMG SOMETIMES WE DIDNT LIKE each other's posts!! 🙄 Business as usual. In the year we worked together after, only ONE person noticed ONE time we flirted more than usual. Otherwise, NO ONE knew. However, if we went on that WT, I can GUARANTEE we would have been just as unhinged. This is where IMO, the body language expert (for those who watched), didn't have a full scope of their entire dynamic.

I will say, the family of it all does make it tricky & I can't speculate on theirs, but to show dynamic for understanding... Mine knew.. my sister had actually mentioned his googly eyes 2 wks before our mutual friend, but she didn't approve. My mom knew & approved. His real mom knew & was semi supportive, but his dad didn't know & wanted him to fix his relationship, which was rough. Taking family into consideration is extremely tricky, especially if there is concern on any side.

The SM postings between them all are also very telling to me, lol.. drama. Love it! & to pretend it doesn't exist is dumb. I won't go into my personal feelings on it all, but it's TELLING. Specifically, the Italy pap pics.

The truth of it all is... REAL relationships are messy AF. The jackolas are too immature to fathom a non fairytale scenario. This is why they make JD out to be so many things he is not & project their rejection onto L. Their lack of life experience is causing them to try & manipulate the narrative like the children they are. I hope they all get some life experience real soon because it's all creepy to watch. I also hope that one day, they grow enough to experience the love & admiration of a gay bestie.

Anywho, I hope yall see these theories are all very plausible for real life. Stop saying it's too delulu, please. It's not.

heyyyy i'm back...with us open tea.....

for this to be even legible i'm going to split it into two days. this isn't really in any specific order because im not sure the exact dates.

day 1: coco guaff match

this day......my brain exploded. it literally changed me as a woman. because the way azzi completely just gives herself up and just openly loves on p so much!!!!!!!! i'm obsessed. we really got to see this day how paige takes care of azzi. how she loves her and will do anything for her. the dynamic of p being the gentle woman and azzi being the princess hits like CRACK and it's heavyyyy this day. i'm gonna show yall everything i found on this day.

first of all, azzi shows up to the match in a sweater and p shows up (looking very gay girlfriend coded) may i add in a purple button up and some cargos. there's a few instances where we kinda catch p and a chatting and having a good time. more p than azzi talking we already know. the vibe they give if you walked past them is oh they're such a cute couple! so attractive! and oh baby they are wearing their relationship like a shirt. you can feel the love young and the happiness in the air the way they interact. in one video, azzi is asking p (if i'm reading lips correctly) who won gold. to which paige responds im not sure. just a cute little moment. another small little cute moment....p holding azzi's food while she eats. she just :( she knew:( i love them sue me. p also has a very cute moment where she's all smiley with her phone and she taps azzi on the shoulder to probably tell her stupid little joke. and the way she look so happy to be looking at azzi :( her eyes search her face in a way and yes she's just telling a joke but it gives every time she looks at azzi she takes her all in, like she's a breath of fresh air. maybe im just over reading it but it's such a sweet moment between them. even though azzi's pretty checked out and just nods at p lololol. princess unfortunately gets so hot she takes off her sweater and then it makes me hot- oh who said that. anyways gentlewoman p's senses are def tingling cause she can't give her her jacket or do anything to make azzi feel better. she's like damn i brought my girl to this match and she can't ask for jacket cause she's hot and not cold 😑. now this is where i say the us open showed a lot about their dynamic....azzi seems pretty uncomfortable and is obviously hot. gentlewoman p steps up and decides yeahhhh this isn't gonna work. she literally does everything possible to make azzi feel better. she reaches her hands out to azzi to hold, she lets azzi lean her head on her shoulder, she literally gives her body to azzi so she can be comfortable. i sob and die on the floor. that's where their dynamic plays a part again. the way p knows immediately how to help azzi and make her feel better when she's clearly going through it. i think she's set out her whole life to be the best gf to her azzi. i'm tearing up right this no joke. also i'm listening to daniel caesar that's prob why. in clips ive seen, azzi pretty much spent this whole game either hot or uncomfortable. i know p's like damn. wanted this to be nice for my girl :(. there's an interesting moment and it's truly my favorite moment of the whole us open. azzi is very obv hot and judging by her body language she wants to leave. she seems pouty and gets close to p to whisper something to her. mind u PAIGE HAS ALLLL POINTS OF CONTACT. she's got her hand on azzi's leg, her shoulders pressed up against azzi's (she's prob the reason azzis so damn hot), and she leans down to listen to what azzi is saying. MAKE IT STOPPPPPPP. she could've listened to azzi from afar and just looked straight the match. but no. she's so soft and an active listener to whatever her girl might need. so much so she leans down, takes her eyes off the match, and listens to what azzi is saying. yall already know what im gonna say DYNAMIC!! it seems like now that azzi is not feeling that well she slips into this headspace where she just wants p to take care of her. she's all soft spoken, she's leaning her body into paige, and probably whispering that she wants to get the fuck outta thereeee. but she's safe with p she knows that :(. like yall are not listening to me. she knows p will take care of her and she knows anytime she's upset paige will be there and will keep her safe and make sure she's taken care of. i know what you're thinking. gabi it's literally just a video. but watching their body language. the way p gets so close to azzi, almost like she wants to kiss her head. it almost seems like she whispers to az just to give her a few more minutes and she'll take her home and let her lay in bed with the fan on. oh yall thought that was it? i think being so cramped in the chairs starts to hurt azzi's knee so she moves down a seat to stretch her leg out. (i know p was heartbroken). hence previously i think the reason p had her hand on azzi's knee/leg earlier was because she knew her knee was bothering her and was probably massaging it. I FUCKED DIED. the trust azzi obv has in p cause i would've been like bitch fuck u get me the hell out of here, but they stay and watch coco win and they're all smiley and happy and high fiving people. truly giving the peoples couple fr fr. and they are. the people's couple even gets to meet the coco guaff. so very nations couple of them. i just love it. that pic is so we're gonna put that on our mantel when we have our own house one day coded. and i'm completely over it.

day 2: flicked up pazzi and azzi neon outfit

i'm combining these two because they're not as long as the first one and not as many moments to dissect unfortunately. we were literally fucked by everyone and really only have pics to go off of. i do have a few little video moments.

first of all, holy power couple this day. the way they look like the most lesbian aunties to ever exist. i would totally go over to their house and feel completely safe. their house definitely smells like lavender and their guest rooms has super soft and clean sheets. that's what their giving this whole day. pls adopt me pazzi i'll clean whatever u need me too. they have a little carpet moment and take power couple photos. p and azzi again, have the biggest fucking grins on their face. they literally seem so freaking happy this trip :(. it's like oozing from them. paige looks amazing, azzi looks amazing. i know paige was sooooo geeked this day looking at azzi and the same for azzi. they look incredible. p has her digital camera a lot and from what she posted on insta, azzi was taking a lot of pictures for her :). certified girlfriend photographer azzi fudd btw. we also get the beautiful selfie paige took on her camera. 😍😍. like that's a beautiful couple. if i didn't know them i would wanna be friends with them immediately and have them tell me their whole love story. we get a cute little moment in the stands where p is putting back her camera in her little bag and a goes to help her out. little helpful princess she's cute. i really wish we could've gotten more azzi this day she seemed so full of happiness and so soft with p this day. u can tell by the smiles on their faces this day it's A LOT less hot and more comfortable for azzi this time lolololol. they seem so happy. p has a huge grin on her face the whole time. so does azzi. apparently when p was putting the camera back in her bag it was right after the picture on her insta azzi took of her standing up. there's that. again if i was looking into this completely unknowingly i would think they were newly married. they just have that glow to them. maybe p was hitting it right this trip cause azzi is literally glowing like the sun. after this azzi and paige go and meet the whole scandal and greys anatomy cast. i would just love to see their initial reaction because i bet they both had just the biggest grin on their faces and were so happy they couldn't stay off each other. i can imagine p just being so happy she's jumping up and down and like squeezing azzi's hand 😭 ipad kid ass. they get a picture with the cast. they both seem so happy after this bc i mean they get to have their dreammmmm. getting to meet your fav shows cast and also having a gf that looks as good as azzi does this day. GENERATIONAL BAG.

the day where azzi has the neon outfit and paige is wearing jorts and a tee. first of all the way they're matching??!?!?? brittany are u trying to kill me? we get some REALLTLTLRLEKEIKE sexy azzi pictures that i think paige took. she looks absolutely stunning and i know azzi got a few kisses after p took those photos. they seem tired but happy this day. looks like they wanna go home to their beds and cuddle to sleep off the jet lag together :(. there's a cute little video somebody caught of p yawning and stretching after the game and the way azzi is standing against her? ummmmmm???? she seems like it's her natural reaction to reach up and put her hands under paige's shirt on her waist but she stops herself. they're both chatting and are soooo close im surprised they haven't kissed yet. and the way azzi is looking up to paige when she stretches. again soft azzi was ALIVE these last two days. i truly loved to see it. azzi looked beautiful idk if ive said that. surprised paige didn't just start making out with her right there. i wouldn't have been able to resist. all in all, this day is so soft and cutesy and makes me so happy to be pazzi nation.

in conclusion, the us open changed my life. no i don't mean anything about tennis. pazzi at the us open changed my FUCKING life. i've never been the same. they were screaming i fucking love my girlfriend and we're together forever. p had her moments and azzi had her moments now too. i hope you can see these moments and make out who does what in the dynamic and how sometimes they take turns. i love pazzi and i wish they would come back home. goodnight!!!

I just saw someone genuinely argue "as a Buddie shipper" (which I don't believe) that Buddie shouldn't happen because: their close friendship is too important, the text of the show doesn't support Eddie being gay the way it supports Buck being bi, Eddie is "not ready", and that Ryan Guzman plays Eddie "too straight" to be able to pull off acting Buddie and this feels like to me someone who doesn't actually ship Buddie but is claiming to cause they think it'll give them more credibility in criticizing it.

1) if I see one more argument about how their close male friendship is too important because of toxic masculinity and that making it romantic would ruin it I'm going to lose my marbles because this is the dumbest take. TV is FULL of vulnerable platonic male friendships - 9-1-1 is FULL of them. Also them becoming romantic does not mean they would no longer be friends.

This narrative that Ryan is somehow sabotaging buddie's chances is so beyond ridiculous. The male friendship thing, please tell me where are we lacking vulnerable male friendships in media? Media is made of male friendships. Everything everywhere is about male characters. It's working through the bad to appreciate the good. And again, this idea that someone needs to be healed to be worthy of love is fucked UP. Eddie is never gonna be fully healed. Recovery isn't linear and he has ptsd. He will forever grieve Shannon. Does that mean he's never gonna be allowed to be loved because he is a human being who has been through hell? What does it take for someone to be "ready for love", huh? What's the threshold here? He was in a helicopter that was shot down and got shot 3 times, he was abandoned by a wife he later was forced to watch die, he was shot at again in broad daylight, he watched his best friend die and had to save him, his own parents just stole his kid. What does he have to do to prove that he is worthy of love, how does he have to handle all that? I just got reminded of an experience of mine a year ago now that serves as a pretty good example of the kind of shit trans men, transmascs, and transneutrals often go through.

So I'm sitting with my new friends at the same spot in the hallway as always. We aren't exactly a small group. We're all different, but one thing that's obvious is that in the eyes of bullies we're all fucking losers.

So this one group comes up to us and starts to make fun of us. Every fucking day. Like clockwork. They're puny little shitheads who have barely started puberty. Their leader, who was shorter than me, couldn't even say "cavalry" correctly and was pronouncing it as "chavalry" for some fucking reason.

Every day, this kid and his buds come up and try to harass us, often by asking us about gay shit and asking me about my pronouns. Every day, I roast him and the group into oblivion and they sulk away to regroup and come back the next day.

One day, this kid is mad enough about me making him look like a small-dicked loser in front of his friends, that while walking away he calls out at me "I would fight you but I don't know if you're a boy or a girl"

He never acted on the threat thankfully (Probably cuz I literally chucked him out of a classroom), but the point still stands that this fucker and his friends were threatening to attack me for being trans.

This fucker and his friends looked at me, someone they knew had a vagina and tits, but used a deep voice and had short hair, and they couldn't tell if I were a binary tranny, a nonbinary tranny, or an ugly dyke. They wanted to beat me up for it, and also cuz my tranny/dyke self was making them feel emasculated.

This is the kind of shit that trans men, transmascs, and transneutral people put up with more often than some of yall realize.

(To clarify right now NO, I AM NOT SAYING THAT TRANS WOMEN, TRANSFEMS, AND FEMININE CIS WOMEN DON'T GO THROUGH THIS. THEY DO. WE ALL KNOW THIS. I AM SIMPLY POINTING OUT AN EXPERIENCE THAT MASCS, AND NEUTRALS TEND TO HAVE THAT THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY TRIES TO DENY THE EXISTENCE OF)

We're still threatened with violence. Our existence makes perisex cis men uncomfortable, makes perisex cis women disgusted, and makes both scared for one reason or another. The more masculine an "afab" queer person is, the appropriate it is to beat the shit out of them. Because she's a man, right? If she wants to be a guy and wear guy's clothes and speak with a guy's voice, then she can take the fucking beating that we give her, because that's just what guys do.

So transmascs will walk into a queer space and become the emotional punching bag of insecure queers, and then turn around and walk into a cishet space and become the literal punching bag of insecure cishets. We just can't win.

Obviously the queer space is still safer, which is why we're still invading with our disgusting testosterone-filled bodies. But it isn't exactly fun to try and engage with people we see as "like us" (queer) only to be pushed away because we're men, and if we're men we never deal with oppression, right? We can handle violence, cuz that's what men do. As men, it's our job to let the ladies and fems verbally diminish us because they were hurt by men and so they have a right to take out their pain on us. If we don't agree to this, then we're misogynistic pigs, and then "trans men really are the men of the trans community".

Transmascs with functioning uterus' are conveniently left out of abortion rights discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told to shut up. Transmascs who are passing are conveniently left out of trans discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told that we don't count because we aren't oppressed because we fully pass now. Transmascs who don't pass are conveniently left out of safety discussions, and when we try to announce our presence we're told that we don't count because we pass as cis women, and cis women have more privilege than trans women. (That last one is a real line I've seen on this site btw)

Trying to say "I want acknowledgement" as a transmasc present at a more friendly queer space doesn't result in vitriol, but what happens instead is that there will be a "transgender recognition" night that has maybe one trans man if we're lucky, and then dozens of trans women and more feminine-looking nonbinary people.

I'm gonna cut this post off right here before I accidentally type out a full-blown book of all the gripes I got, but the point is that you can't apply the baby-level radfem idea of "man bad, woman good" to the queer community. It's dumb as fuck in the cishet world, and it's so much worse in lgbt spaces. Literally the point of being queer is to fuck with gender roles. This doesn't just mean everyone is feminine. You can't walk into a queer space and go "men are evil" without it affecting half of the queer population. Trans men aren't attacking trans women by saying "I want to be respected as a human being, please". Trans men aren't trying to trick gay men into fucking them by saying "I want to be respected as a gay man, please". Trans men aren't trying to trick lesbians into fucking them by saying "I want to be respected as a boydyke, please".

If everyone in the community were to take a fraction of the energy and love they dedicate to feminine queers and use it to "reach across the isle" and try to connect with and understand masculine queers, the community as a whole benefits. Also masculine queers deserve to be treated well even if it doesn't give good things to the entire community, cuz we're people too. We deserve decent treatment because we're human. Who woulda thought.

(P.S. I still see the leader of the dumbfuck squad walking around sometimes. He's still shorter than me, but his hair is taller. I swear it looks a little more tall every time I spot him.)

The fire nation is actually the least likely nation to be homophobic and the fact that it is canonically the only homophobic nation is a bunch of bull, driven by the idea that bad is bad is bad and we must have only negative things in the fire nation and the other nations are hapless uwu victims. God forbid we have some awareness that cultures can be problematic in different ways.

Also easily none of the nations could be homophobic, or all of them are to varying degrees, but if only ONE nation is homophobic it is NOT going to be the fire nation and here's why.

Air Nomads

Look these guys are just as likely to be homophobic as not actually. Like clearly they're all monks, but that could go one of two ways. You're either a love is love monk, or a sex is sinful monk, and the fact that the monks were separated by gender into different temples and they presumably only had sex to have children so they wouldn't die out, I'm leaning towards the "sex is a tool to create children, to do it for other reasons is to indulge your carnal urges" type monks.

And when two men or two women have sex, it's not to create children.

Therefore, pretty solid that while the air nomads probably don't hate gay people, I don't think it was really an accepted thing in their society just because no romantic/sexual relationship was really accepted within the monk lifestyle. So not homophobic, but not really a thing.

2. Southern Water Tribe

You're gonna look me in the eyes and tell me that a nation with such emphasis on gender roles isn't gonna be hella weird about gay people? The men go off to war, the women stay and mend. Sokka's sexism, although I do think there's an argument that he took it further than his society taught him (because he was overcompensating, as the only man left in the village) was clearly taught to him.

That being said it's a society in which men leave on long journeys for days or weeks at a time and leave their wives at home, so I wouldn't be surprised if homosexuality was common but not discussed. You get a boat husband, yall keep each other company during long voyages while both your wives are gone. The ladies meet up for "sewing circles" while the men are off doing their thing. It's something that happens, but even if you do indulge it's with the understanding that when you get back to the village or your spouse comes back from the hunt you two are married and whatever happened when you were separated is not discussed.

Open homesexuality in such a culture? Can you imagine? Absolutely not.

3. Northern Water Tribe

Again, super gendered society. Women are literally treated like property and supports to be used by men, not allowed to speak in political situations, etc.

The reason I separate the southern and nothern is that their way of living is so different that my conclusion is different as well.

The northern water tribe is far more sexist (southern, we see that gran gran is respected as an elder at least and her words are taken seriously) AND they don't have the same previously mentioned long trips in which the men and women are separated.

Therefore I don't think homosexuality is even okay as a silent, not-talked-about but generally accepted part of society. These guys would absolutely make laws against it.

4. Earth Kingdom

Initially similar problems to the water tribe. They're clearly a very gendered society, only men join the army from what we've seen, the women are at the very least encouraged to be pretty and silent, especially in higher social statuses. In a society that emphasizes the respective places of women and men so much, homosexuality is less likely to be accepted because it necessarily destroys those roles (hence the "okay but who's the man in your relationship" type questions--because people obsessed with gendered society cannot fathom the idea that a relationship can consist of two people not fulfilling the specific roles of "man" and "woman")

Similarly to the Northern Water Tribe, they also don't have the situations in which men and women are often separated for long periods of time. Plus just given the generally rigid, headstrong nature of earth benders as a whole combined with the sexist nature of their general social strata, I just don't think they're going to be easily swayed to accept an alternative family structure than the one they have decided (a man protecting and providing for the family, a woman to care for the children, and their children).

Clearly the earth nation is extremely large and there is a lot of variation between the sections of any society, so I don't doubt there are many places (especially further-removed locations that aren't so under the direct sway of the aforementioned nobility) where homosexuality is accepted even openly, but we're talking about the general societal attitude, not exceptions to the rule.

(This being said Omashu is not homophobic no matter how homophobic the rest of the earth kingdom is because I refuse to believe Bumi wouldn't immediately repeal any homophobic laws the moment he became king)

5. Fire Nation

The Fire Nation is the most equal society in terms of gender norms. This is the only nation that has just as many women as men in the military, and in political situations (although we see many of the higher ups are still men) women are allowed to have a place as well. No one objects to Azula being the next firelord on grounds of her being a woman, no one ever suggests that Azula, Mai, or Ty Lee don't know what they're doing because they're women or expresses surprise that a group of women took Ba Sing Se or whatever.

Now, in terms of accepted relationships I do agree that the nobility likely insist that their own children marry someone that they can have children with--because bloodlines are important in such a society, and royal matches have never been about love or attraction, they've been about making alliances and raising your social status and continuing bloodlines.

We don't see any evidence of harems in Avatar, but there are plenty of historical examples of a king marrying a woman to continue the bloodline and then having male concubines and such, which is what I would suggest as a reasonable way to portray this in the fire nation.

But generally speaking, to the common people, there is literally no reason for the fire nation to have a problem with homosexual relationships. In fact there are more positives than negatives to them, when you have both men and women as soldiers on your ships.

You can ban all sexual relationships in the hope that you can avoid your women soldiers getting pregnant, or you could turn a blind eye to gay relationships because guess what when you have lady soldiers that's a really great way to make sure no one gets pregnant while on really long assignments.

IN CONCLUSION

The reason the fire nation was said to be the only homophobic nation in the comics was plain and simple a "grr fire nation evil" mentality that didn't take into account any of the actual cultures presented, and people need to take into account that someone can be an evil rat bastard and not be homophobic, and there are bigger questions of society in play that you can't just say "oh they're evil and those guys are good so the first will be homophobic and the second wont"

I've been seeing a lot of hate for dragons rising and the later seasons of ninjago and I have my thoughts. As usual. Im a very thought filled person. So I'm gonna tell you all my very correct and right opinion on the matter. Also it's very long be warned now 🧙‍♂️ (little recap at the very end in case you dont wanna read the whole thingg)

The later seasons of Lego ninjago and the entirety of Dragons Rising is not bad. It's just different.

The first season of lego ninjago came out in 2011.

The expectations for a kids show in 2011 are different than the expectations in 2024. The humor kids like is going to change naturally over the years. The tropes in media that kids like is going to change over the years.

We were the target audience when the show first came out, because we were kids. It's a show aimed for a younger audience. Unfortunately, the intended audience did not change as we got older. The show is still aimed at a younger audience, but guess what? There's new kids. The age range is filled with new people. And to still have their target audience hit, they are obviously going to have to change a few things so the kids nowadays will want to watch the show.

The original seasons had more focus on the character vs character conflics. Of course it dabbled in characters having internal struggles and side plots related to building/destroying relationships, but those were more episode specific and he newer seasons just delve more into it for multiple episodes. There was a focus on the fighting, on the action, on the cool outfits and mech armor. The new seasons are still fighting bad guys, with all of the cool effects, but also fighting feelings. You can do both at once. Shocker, I know. Why is there more focus on emotions? Because that's the standard in well written shows these days.

The humor is less characters making fun of eachother, and more a dead silence filled with a silly sound effect. This is one of the things that irked me, but it's okay. My humor is not the humor of the intended audience. The space is intended for the audience to have the audible laughter/reaction. Quick reminder who the show is intended for. (I hold up a sign saying "new generation of young people with different humor then people my age".)

The characters are not annoying. The characters are not weak, or pitiful, or embarrassing. A character having emotions other than love or anger or happiness is okay. Arin not feeling worthy enough for his team? Guess what? That's an emotion lots of people feel. This character is allowed to have self doubt. Lloyd having panic attacks from his visions? Hey, his visions scared him! Characters are allowed to be scared, and have a reaction to being scared.

Characters are allowed to be replaced. I know, I loved the original elemental masters, and wish they could come back for a cameo now and then. Would love to see Griffin Turner once and a while. But you have to remember in the canon, it's been years. Time passes. Wanna know what happens when time passes? People die, people move on, people come into others lives. The new elemental master of air is fine. She's allowed to exist. Do you honestly expect Morro to show back up and be like "omg hiii >< I'm here I want my power back !!" Be honest with yourselves.

Final thought: who cares if characters are gay. A background character wears a nonbinary flag on their jacket?!?!?!? It must be armageddon!! Come on now. One or two flags in the background isn't the end of the world. Cole and Geo's relationship has no effect on the main plot. Geo could be replaced by any character, or even removed, and the plot would still go forward. Gay people aren't out to get you, or turn your show woke, or indoctrinate your kids. They're just there. Cole is still Cole, and Geo is cool. Another thing about Geo: I will not take Geo slander from lava shippers. He is very sweet and kind and just because Cole is not with Kai doesn't mean yall should hate on him. Also I don't even think Cole and Geo are 100% confirmed. So why is everyone going bananas over it? Very silly behavior if you ask me.

So- Steven Universe Movie x Hazbin Hotel. All of them have just had their memories wiped, their 'default' personalities reset, and not having any idea who they once were. you get to really see what each character would have been like had they not faced whatever horrible thing landed them in Hell to begin with.

Lilith is Pearl- She fell in love with the angel that took a liking to her, dedicating everything about her existence to Lucifer. Even when it came to giving up everything, she did it for him. Reset, she's just as dedicated but has no one to give that dedication to. Until...

Yes, ALASTOR HAS TO BE GREG. Lilith may have come from Eden with Lucifer, by his side from the very beginning, but after all those years, I never thought I'd lose... Also, the whole 'pearl latching on to greg as her new diamond' thing makes that EXTRA hilarious. Charlie's gonna be all "Mom, don't you recognize them? Don't you recognize me?" Lilith's overly helpful ass is gonna be like "Hmmmm... Well I certainly recognize my Um Radio Demon!" And Al just, "...Oh boy."

Angel is Ruby, even if he hadn't been raised in the mafia, I'd like to think that Angel would be a solid badass mf either way, dedicated to protecting what he cares about.

Husk is Sapphire, ever think that maybe the reason the oddly wise bartender always seems to know everything isn't because he's a bartender? Uh oh, secret's out, Husky. (not to mention the idea of Huskerdust 'isn't it love' is killing me)

Niffty is Amethyst- except an amethyst is big, and strong... this one is not the best example, something is clearly wrong! Now, I don't think it even needs saying that Sir Pentious needs to be Peridot, if you show me both of their pictures I will say 'that's the same picture'

And that means Cherri takes her role as Lapis, which I fuckin adore

As much as I'd like to make Vaggie be Connie, Connie is entirely absent the whole movie lmao and I also think that Bismuth is a damn good gem for Vaggie anyway. Bold, determined, has a deadly hatred of the place she came from and will do anything to defend her new home (gay as shit)

And for spinel, I'm not 100% sure. I'm thinking it could be an adamsapple situation where Adam was left in Eden, forever waiting for Lucifer to return despite the fact that he's essentially dead to the rest of Heaven. once he finds out about Lucifer having made a life for himself in Hell, he goes to take out his jealousy on Charlie and the others. and when he's reset he goes back to a silly, fun loving innocent guy that wants nothing but to make others happy.
