I haven't read the context for this I'm just clicking random screens in BMP, but it's basically the ancestors of the current BMP love interests.

Ernest Levaincois of Charles is so prettyyyyyyyy. I love long silver hair on love interests huhu.

The Sybella (Sanct Sybil) king's name is Ash Chernenkov. Doesn't sound very Russian to me, but maybe that's just a nickname and his full name is something else? Like after Yakov and Ivan, this feels a bit out of place.

I had to pause for one second, because this is how the kingdom's name was actually written:

Was wondering if the name was just different in JP than in Eng, but I check Yakov's profile, it actually was Sanct Sybil. I guess Sybella was the old kingdom or something I don't know. The Yakov lore is different from the version I played in paid, so I have no idea what's happening.

Happy 10th anniversary, BMP and BMP2. I miss my wil and zain way too much, aslan, ivan and yakov too. All of them from this series. Forever, in my heart.

It...it says there’s a coup d’etat? FUDGE, I never played the Party version of Yakov’s route. Was he in there? The version in the standalone paid app is literally "it’s Nobunaga but Russian” and it was so WTF I laughed through the whole route. 

But then again this is a promo banner for a sequel so maybe he’s a new character for the sequel.

Be My Princess (1) King of Frost

Matchup: BMP Princes + Disney Princesses

As a Disneychild and devoted Otome fan, I’ve seen a few posts about matchups of the Disney princesses with various Otome men, but none with our actual princes. So here you go, I hope you enjoy :)

Wilfred Spencer: Jasmine.

Wilfred was the most difficult to pair up for me, because in my eyes he is a relatively complex character who you can’t figure out within the first two chapters. Both of these two come from strict households (duh), and want to be seen for more than their title. I imagine them meeting by chance when they sneak of the palace anonymously and just getting to know each other as normal people. They both love their respective kingdoms and its people, and would give each other a sense of normalcy when not busy with any royal duties. 

Keith Alford: Merida.

As much as we all love Keith, it’s safe to say that he’s not an easy man to handle. In a woman, he needs a challenge, someone who won’t be swooned by his status or dashing good looks. Merida is the anti-princess, who just wants her freedom. Admittedly, they both have a bit of a temper, however, I can just imagine Keith seeing Merida kick all those men’s ass in archery and instantly fall for her. She won’t make it easy for him, but once they get together they’d be a total power couple!

Roberto Button: Anna.

Listen, my heart M E L T S when I think of these two. They are two perfect rays of sunshine; adventurous, fun-loving, caring, wonderful WONDERFUL people. You could feel their positive energy from ten miles away and they’d brighten up every room they enter and make everyone have heart-eyes by just watching them. They’d also bond on a deeper level, considering the loss of Anna’s parents and Robbie’s mother. When necessary, Anna can very headstrong, especially when it comes to Robbie running away from his duties ;) In conclusion, those two have to be my favourite couple.

Joshua Lieben: Belle.

The first thing that came to mind was - bookworms! Then I thought some more, and liked this pairing better and better. They are both very responsible, and Belle has the open-mindedness that Joshua lacks in the beginning. Also, Belle is not someone to be thrown off by mean words, and she’d have the patience, or rather stubornness to uncover the very soft heart that Joshua is hiding.

Glenn Casiraghi: Mulan.

Another one that was not easy to match up, but ultimately came up with this one (maybe because of similar cultural backgrounds?). Anyway, Mulan is probably the best Disney princess in existence (though I am also a big fan of Moana <3) and possesses the maturity that Glenn is lacking a bit. They are both family people who respect their traditions but also keep their eyes on the future, questioning what’s right and wrong while being faithful to their moral convictions. I also love the image of them practicing archery together, and of Alan playing with Little Brother!

Edward Levaincois: Rapunzel.

These two are so dreamy! Literally. Both very artsy and romantic individuals, with their heads in the clouds sometimes and incomparibly pure hearts. Edward would give Rapunzel all the freedom to discover everything that she’s been missing out on, and also have the patience to teach her about everything she needs to know about life as a royal. He’d also LIVE for braiding her hair (before she cut it of course) and experimenting with different hairstyles. He’d be enchanted by her singing and fascinated by her art, hanging up every single piece in their room and the rest of the castle.

Zain: Tiana.

Tiana is arguably one, if not the most underrated Disney princess; just how Zain is very underrated in my opinion. She’s ambitious, down-to-earth, loving and a fantastic cook. Just right for someone with as big an appetite as Zain! They’d be each other’s greatest supporter and probably have the one of the healthiest relationships you’ve ever seen. Big fan of this pairing!

Yakov Chernenkov: Elsa.

I HAD TO. ‘Scusi. I haven’t played Yakov’s route, but from what I’ve seen he seems to be someone that appears somewhat distant at first, but is incredibly sweet once you get to know him. They give off a similar vibe, and for me the saying “Birds of the same feather flock together” is absolutely true. I think they’d understand each other on a deeper level, always having to be strong on the outside, having a whole kingdom relying on them. With each other I feel they could be vulnerable. Plus, not that it’s important, they’d just look gorgeous next to each other!

2019 Birthday Story Set // Voice Bonus (Zain, Yakov)

hey fools it’s zain’s bday on this side of the planet (and yesterday for JP). happy bday to the objectively flawless chara in bmp that the staff excludes from stuff sometimes bc he gave up his princehood to remain a plebian scrub 😔 cant be in the prince crew if u clean someone else’s dishes 

for the 2019 bday cycle (zain is the last one on the cycle bc im pretty sure his route was released on bmp2/ek after his bday...rip) they made story sets which are the routes from the older bday event. the “real” appeal of these sets is that when you get the full set, you get an exclusive brief voice clip. wowee

yea so i mostly got zain’s bc i love hirarin. lol if LT/BMPP wasn’t 34823 years ago i’d be pissed that the cost of this entire set (~$11) is way cheaper than it was to full clear that shit from back then. i mean you don’t get any of the really cool avatars (like the prince uniform or the bg bc im pretty sure those were used for bmp2 chara bday events) but oh well
