I got interstellar operations recently and for whatever reaspn this week has conspired to keep putting the LAM rules in front of me and I swear these things were designed to make you not want to play battletech over the board

#battletech #I'm sure with like a 0/0/0/0 pilot #(because yah LAMs have to have two sets of skills for ASF and mechs)#they're fine #but also sideslips and turn modes and I'm sure there's some other nonsense mean movement is now basically a gamble #on whether or not you can make like 20 PSRs a turn and not slam into a cliff #just bring a vtol at that point

I feel genuinely so horrible bc it’s my dream to go to the wizardng world of hp but obviously I don’t want to support jk… if I ever do end up going I 100% plan to match the amount I spend and donate to a trans charity to try and balance it out!but even that doesn’t feel like enough :/ and I don’t want to be selfish and whatever by just going anyway and not caring bc I DO CARE and I hate the idea of supporting her directly but at the same time I’ve wanted to go for almost 10 years and it’s a once in the life time experience :/

And I don’t want to be viewed as someone who supports or is a fan of her just bc I want to go to the parks but since everything tied to hp sends money directly to her obviously it is still supporting her in a way…

i am 100% not the person to come to with this because i cannot sympathise. the most i can give you is that i don't care what people do as long as it isn't in a space that prides itself against this (so like,,, no videos with #marauders etc or promoting the studios blah blah blah)

but asides from that? i am not the person to make others feel better about this :/
