The mentions to Olivia’s daddy issues outside of the obvious, just like the impact of not having a father at all without everything else, are so strangely placed. Like Rafael’s comment about Olivia not growing up with a father to protect her and then in “something happened” it’s mentioned a lot. I don’t know, I read in between the lines a lot but I can’t quite wrap my head around why what’s being said is being said. Especially Rafael’s comment when it comes right after his comment about Elliot being a bully. Is that what being written between the lines? Olivia craves relationships with men she wishes could’ve been her father? That could’ve protected her from her mother?
