So XS idea of Jack being not just Wuya's descendant but Dashi and Wuya's descendant. At first it's revealed Dashi has a descendant and everyone turns to look at Omi other than Chase who is offended as excuse you that's his kid-APPRENTICE his apprentice and he is far better than Dashi how dare you lower his little one to that idiots level.

It bring reveled it's Jack and not only is he Dashi's...he's Wuya's. Wuya is just there silently screaming.

A lot of people are like How? WTF. Chase takes one look at Jack thinks back to Dashi and Wuya and be like 'All this information does is give context to your idiocy this isn't a shock.'

Wuya is just wondering how she never realized before, all the inventions, stupid plans, breaking the timeline... also if Dashi had been able to he totally would have made robots to fight for him so he could nap longer... at least he got her desire for world domination.

Only when Jack become dragon of metal and is super competent, like as soon as he has the other dragons as friends supporting him and encouragement/guidance with his metal powers he is stupidly strong and all the other enemies are like '... ah...that checks out'

Jack:Oh man if I wasn't a good guy now i'd be so easy to take over the world

Kimiko: I know right

Raimundo: Yeah I mean without Wu

Clay:...how much are y'all thinking about this?

Omi: I don't but Chase gave me pointers

Dojo just nearly always hanging around Jack and him bemoaning like 'How did I not know you were related to him your creations have tried to eat me at least twice it's so obvious'

Just Dojo Jack team up and both still hiding behind Clay if anything goes down because crazy powerful or not Jack is still Jack.

Jack starts calling Wuya grandma, she hates it so much but she can't actually argue

Bonus idea if Dashi had seen Jack while in spirit form after Rai pens puzzle box and he's like great great great grandson! Awww look you got Wuya's hair, Wuya do you see this? Aww this is awesome. Impossible Curse Statistics: Shenanigans

Hey folks! We're on the last part of our Fatal Error Reader shenanigans. This time delving into Jujutsu Kaisen's dark curse filled world. Like seriously, canon barely gives any reprieve unlike Darker Than Black. AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING.

Fatal Error Reader here is the stressful single parent ready to punch someone amongst the iterations. Snarky and eager to snap at anyone being dumb except for Yuji. (He gets light scolding.) Any swear words are guaranteed when it comes to those like Sukuna or Gojo.

FE Reader does all they can to give Yuji a great life. There are some difficulties as their inhuman appearance isn't exactly suited for the public. Main reason why Yuji carries around a small electronic device, usually a Tamagotchi, so Fatal Error Reader can hide inside.

The living virus will often hack into people's bank accounts to gather any needed funds for essentials like to the occasional spoiling. Every victim being someone cruel or corrupt from thugs to twisted politicians. Any attempt of the target to trace the drainage always ends with a system crash by the virus.

Fatal Error Reader teaches Yuji to not do anything illegal like they did. (Scaring the shit out of bullies or unnerve others is allowed though.) If someone is gonna commit a necessary evil, then no way would it be their child. Even moreso when Yuji is attacked by a curse on his 8th birthday.

Out of instinct, Fatal Error Reader merged with young boy and obliterate the curse. This sudden union led to a realization that they can fuse together due to some unknown power Yuji held. An ability which has some consequences with some visible.

Instead of becoming part Curse, he becomes part digital virus like FE Reader. The only noticable changes are his new fangs, small claws, reddish eyes and hair becoming a reddish pink. Yuji has an alternate form where the virus side truly manifests.

Four tetrabrachial arms with the upper pair being double in size, skin mimicking FE Reader's fur pattern specifically both color alongside similar properties like the subspace stomach, black eyes but the pupils being red Xs, hair now pinkish red quills, 3 ft taller in size, his mouth become a fang filled jack-o'-lantern maw, long hedgehog ears and 3 pairs of large crimson spike quills on his back.

The living virus still regrets this accidental conversion but Yuji doesn't blame them. He thinks it's an awesome birthday gift despite the realization to come once he is older. Both learn to accept the permanent change as Yuji adjust to his new capabilities.

The events of canon still occur albeit with heavy changes. FE Reader kept Yuji from taking Sukuna's cursed finger in the first place. Malevolent energy radiating off the appendage was enough to earn a Hell No within a few seconds of exposure.

It doesn't stop someone else from taking the item and cause the school to be overrun by Curses like in canon. Megumi questions Yuji at the hospital with the reason being the strange 'energy' the half virus radiates. FE Reader holds down the urge to punch the young man as their son just lost his grandfather minutes ago.

Megumi eats Sukuna's Finger to survive against the Grasshopper Curse while Reader took Yuji's friends to safety. They weren't exactly happy when the possessed boy attacked their son during that time. Yuji taken on his Fatal form to better defend himself until FE Reader interferes.

The living virus ends up fighting against Sukuna before freeing Megumi from the King of Curses. Gojo appears to retrieve the young man and lets the two go since they saved his apprentice. The viral duo however are now mark for capture then execution by the Sorcerer Council.

Nothing like Yuji and Fatal Error Reader has ever been seen before in the history of Jujutsu. The fact both held their own against Sukuna says how strong they could possibly be. A matter made only worse when the King of Curses shares interest in Fatal Error Reader.

He sensed a lot more potential from the living virus than even his current vessel. Sukuna wants FE Reader all for himself. Every last piece of them that he'll use Yuji as bait if needed. The digital entity already show their maternal protectiveness towards the boy.

FE Reader has plenty of snide, colorful threats to go with their punches. Especially as Sukuna loves to piss them off akin to Gojo. Powerful and feisty are fun to mess with in his opinion.

Gojo wants to keep the two alive. Both are interesting individuals and can help him better the world of Jujutsu unlike the corrupt Council. There's also the fact that FE Reader somehow jammed Sukuna's possession over Megumi by eating away at the Curse's power. (I ain't going for everyone has Yuji's mental resistance stereotype.)

A seal type choker has been made from the leftover energy the living virus had left behind. It suppresses Sukuna by eating away at his Curses Energy. However if Megumi overuses his abilities then there's a chance the King of Curses will take control.

This is merely a small chunk compared to the changes I'll be making towards canon. It won't make things easier for FE Reader nor Yuji though. There are plenty of threats gunning for their heads.

Possessive as hell 1000 year old Curse, a corrupt sorcerer council with non corrupt followers in pursuit, Curses and Curse Users that wants to see what makes them tick. Even moreso when the living virus goes Critical once their hunters push too far. If normal FE can eat away Cursed Energy and Critical Error is stronger than base form...

You can sum what could happen with these particular lyrics from Fatality Invasion Mix 2: 'This is my world. It's my art! Your code is mine! Let's restart! Played with my fire, the seal is broken. Unleashed my will, now the grief's awoken.'

Settling In

Miniya knew her sister would be angry with her. She left no forwarding contact information this time, changed her XS ship transponder, and hid her Fury in a private bay on Mek-Sha rather than on Nar Shaddaa. She'd taken a shuttle from Mek-Sha to the spaceport on Nar, left from Lil's ship bays, but left her no forwarding information either. Nonetheless, Min was acutely aware that Lil or her people were the ones that could find her most easily under the circumstances, should Annora ask. She looked around the apartment. She'd hired a professional cleaning crew to come in and clean the place thoroughly. It had cost extra to get them to come to the 47th underlevel but it had been worth it. She'd bought some nice but not overly expensive furnishings but she wasn't even scratching the surface financially yet. She'd never had a vacation, never gone anywhere, and had just saved her funds from the time she became her sister's apprentice until her more recent promotion to Lord. But distance and time were things she knew she needed right now. She looked in a mirror at herself then said out loud, "This is for the best. Believe that. And until you can accept it in your heart that you were never worthy of her, we'll stay right here." She stared at the mirror a few moments longer, but shook her head, whispering, "I can say that to myself but I don't believe it, not yet." She sighed and went into her new bedroom, making the bed for the first time, and looking forward to sleep, even if she knew it would be restless.

Uhhhhhmmmm, Yaya knows a lot about her Azem. Her Azem was kinna just... normal really and she didn't have any love interests back then. She was just an adventurous planet hopper who was friends with Emet, Venat, Hyth, Hades, and Hermes.

I'm technically still trying to figure out Nekaia's Ancient. But I think I have her having worked with Hermes and she was like a mom to Meteion but she was in love with Alphinaud's Ancient Socrates. They had a kid too. Well almost, the sundering happened before the kid could be born. Hermes DID have a crush on her tho. And she was ALSO friends with Venat, Hyth, and Hades. I'm also thinkin she wanted to be an apprentice to Hades too but didn't really get the chance. I kinna plan to like have Fandaniel somehow tell her about her Ancient though... but I'm not sure how yet? OH! And Nekaia's Ancient was an Entelechy. XS But my definition is someone who's like REALLLYY empathic so yeahh...

Sophia doesn't know about her Ancient at all. There's no one to really tell her and she's not the WoL so I'm not sure how she would get a memory stone unless Yaya gave it to her.

Saechen kinna knows about her Ancient. I haven't decided if her Ancient is Azem or not. XS

Thinking of yet ANOTHER au because I cant turn the alternate timeline machine in my brain off where it starts out in the "good" timeline that completely sucks for jack. He hasn't gone good or redeemed himself or anything, but he also hasnt gotten anywhere with evil and the rate at which he's spent his childhood burning himself out is starting to catch up. He's not hopeless, and he doesn't blame his past self for being a kid, but it's clear he could have avoided some of his present problems if he'd heeded at least some of the annoying advice about "health" and "working on a schedule instead of til he collapses then lazing around for a week". It is what it is, and there are still Showdowns to be won, so he carries on with his plan of the week until- ZAP -he's... a kid again???

It's not day one or anything, but he's suddenly MUCH earlier in his villainous career with an uncharacteristically clear awareness of his shortcomings and exact steps that can be taken to fix them. The more time goes on, the more his old life feels like a dream instead of a memory, but the will to move forward and do it right is as strong as anything. What do you do with another chance?

Week 6- Favourite Showdown

It's amazing how many times Xiaolin Chronicles retreaded something already done in Xiaolin Showdown, only to do it way, way worse than the original it's trying to copy. It feels like a fever dream.

Because it is a fever dream. A fever dream, which isn't even funny. There are reoccurring jokes from the original series and even when new ones are introduced they are either disgusting or not funny. Oh, there is also a third category, which I would call 'what the hell this is so inappropriate Why'. In the last category, I would include each Shadow-Chase interaction in which they acted like a couple even tho they're both aware Chase as Shadow's creator is more like a father to her

But yeah, I don't know if it's a lack of creativity but even whole episodes were based on already existing ones.

We have Clay-centered episode in which he has to reunite with a sibling, but in Chronicles, they replace Jesse with a ginger-haired boy named Patrick.

In 'mi temple mi casa' Chase Young traps monks in their new temple with a spell that would make their fears come to life. Sounds familiar? DREAMSCAPE from the original series. But I don't get it why would they change Kimiko and Raimundo's fears. What is an even greater mystery to me, why did they redesigned and renamed Clay's granny. But yeah the fear of being pinched hard had stayed the same.

'Heylin Within' episode is simply 'Ring of the Nine Dragons' rip-off, but instead of Omi, who's the victim of a magical cloning ring, Ping-Pong gets tricked into using it by Shadow.

Furthermore, 'Rocco Cho' is an allusion to 'Chucky Choo' episode. Dojo meets an old ex-friend and throughout the episode, he has to learn how to get along with him. However, I must admit Rocco compared to Chucky is more friendly. I took a liking to Rocco because he actually didn't do anything wrong and that flashback from his and Dojo's childhood was cute! Idk maybe I want Dojo to have a normal dragon-friend... By the end of the episode, Rocco and Dojo seemed so happy and I get the impression Dojo can count on Rocco. So, actually, I regard this episode as a slight improvement. not that bad.

I've already mentioned 'Chase lays an egg' bears some resemblance to 'The apprentice'. Jack tries to be a monk. Fails due to his greed. Yeah, that's the plot.

If I think about it, 'Who shrank Master Fung' has some aspects of 'the Sizing up Omi', but it is Master Fung who has to learn how to operate in a giant world.

Additionally, in 24 ep of XC the showdown between jack and Kimiko is THE SAME as the showdown on Bailey's farm with Clay vs Jack (Big as texas episode) It's only a different location. And in XC jack ends up being licked by a hideous CG cow head. Yeah, it doesn't have a body. Only floating head. Creppy. But as anon said, fever dream.

And if we're at it - there were some 'out of touch' scenes too. Chase throwing his hair to each side as if he was in a shampoo ad? Monks trying to remove a magical shrimp from Jack's body but before they could do it they have to see all the other things he ate that day? gross. Chase hugging his egg that a couple of minutes before.... got out of his body? (but ngl Shadow cringing over it was somewhat funny). (crying) Chase calling the Egg the future president (what the heck). Oh and don't get me started with the episode in which Dojo goes to the future and accidentally alters the reality so in the future Dragons use humans as slaves/pets. FEVER DREAM.

Xiaolin Chronicles feels as if it was a fever dream because there is almost no continuity to its universe? No cohesion? And I would complain about it ALWAYS. Chase's changed backstory. In that regard, XC is way way worse. Instead of coming up with something new the show depended more on something that already existed but unfortunately, they altered the characters of each person in the show it barely feels as if they were real. Only Jack of all the characters stayed consistent.
