7) Peter Pevensie & Edmund Pevensie (Narnia)

Geez. Is there even a proper tag for this?? Not many people ship these two I get it but I just, well, tend to drive down to an end off the beaten track. I really like their interaction in the first film and come to think of it, this was the first movie I’ve seen in movie theater so it kinda hits different.

6) Rogue/Shadowcat (Xmen: Evolution)

They clearly had some issues at first but ended up getting along really well. Enemies to roommates to friends in combat and… let it hang in there for a bit bcs there could certainly be a lot of possibilities so who knows :D I really enjoy watching them bickering like an old married couple. Could do this all day

5) Hiccup/Astrid (httyd)

Best anime couple ever! I love how their romantic relationship unfolds in rtte. A slow-burn, took a whole movie, plus three spin-off for it to blossom. Burns slowly but naturally and beautifully.

4) Logan/Scott (Xmen)

When you talk about Scogan there's no way you can get around talking about that scene where Logan flipped Scott off and Scott just acted cool and cracked a smile. It's all you need to board this ship. Ugh it's shame the writer decided to kill off Scott in The Last Stand. But fortunately it was rectified in DoFP (Don't mention Logan (2017)) and Logan still got years to beef (and highkey flirt) with his frenemy :D

3) Magfam (Cherik + Speedyson) (Xmen)

What I wouldn't kill to get more wholesome magfam content? For once can we forget about the angst and pain and just sit down and enjoy something of a rom-com, something light, a cute story of how a remarried family getting together. A remarried couple and their teenage son, who hasn't lived with his father for a single day before, try to work out together as a family. Isn't that what we all deserve?

2) Harry Osborn/Peter Parker (Spiderman(raimiverse))

Quality angst. Their story has everything you need for a classic tragedy. Geez, I remember crying my heart out watching Harry die in Peter's arms as a kid. It left such a massive impact on me that I'm still not over it to this day. I really hate it that NWH did them dirty, Peter out of character, and implying that Harry, being someone vengeful, died of his tomfoolery, making him a cue for some meaningless joke. That's not how they should be. They deserve so, so much better.

1) Neuller (Men's Football RPF)

My emotional support. My safehouse I could escape to. They are the reason why I'm here in the first place. Decade partners and soulmates on the pitch, two dorks who are always on the same wavelength and always seen together. For Thomas, Manu is the best goalkeeper in the world and the wall of steel behind him, always out there to defend so he could go full throttle forward without worrying; and for Manu, Thomas is his spokesperson on and off the field, leading the charge and helping him organize the defense. Together they grabbed almost all the titles they could. They complete each other, as quoted from Manu himself, Thomas is more than a teammate and he can't imagine a world without him.

💕 for spies and 📃 for xmen? (I’ve never seen any xmen, like at all, I know nothing)

💕: tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them! > ha. agent curt mega. i could write a novel about the guy but i think, to put it in a simple way, he's more nuanced as you rewatch the show and come back to it rather than your first time through. i just think about the implications of why he acts the way that he does in tandem with him being gay during the cold war of all times is just. such an interesting set piece. him and owen are soft history and of the many stories like that which went untold. i think about that sappho quote that goes "someone, i tell you, will remember us, even in another time," and i think about hadestowns "it's a sad song, but we're gonna sing it again" and how orpheus made you look at the world in a way which made it worth living. that's curt, i think. he's kind, but he's an ass. he's heroic, but he's got that regret. deep down, he deserves to be treated with love and hes got so much love to give. i think he needs to take that burden of the world off his shoulders. this guy also made me, a deeply closeted lesbian at the time, realize who i was, so he's up there 📃: what is the plot of your hyperfixation? and is it a movie, game, show, etc? > see, you take a gay little mutant. and then, THEN! then you put them in a situation, literally cannot even begin to describe the xmen though like. in its entirety. out of all of them i've watched and love the prequels the most, and the best way i can put it is superhero rom coms and charles and erik continuing to gay divorce each other through three decades. i think if you enjoy having a fun time, i completely recommend the xmen movies, esp the prequels, because it just HAS a theme and it sticks to it wholeheartedly. first class is more of a james bond feel with the 60s backdrop and has the most setup for a lot of the older characters, days of future past is a time travel story with wolverine going back to the 70s in order to stop peter dinklage from making killer robots, and apocalypse is the x-gen going on a gay little road trip to stop the four horsemen. i cannot explain the entire plot to you in full but if these vibes speak to you totally check it out thank you for asking!! ask me about a hyperfixation (spies or xmen)!!

Scott is very uncomfortable with his abilities, he feels like wherever he goes he brings destruction along with him.

He always had his cheesy "cool" persona on whenever he's walking around campus.

Then one day while walking around with Ororo, he saw you. You were sitting in the grass, healing up one of the younger student's scraped knees after they tripped on the basketball court.

He literally stopped in his tracks- too focused on how your glasses were almost falling off your face in your concentration to keep moving.

Ororo made fun of him for the rest of the day.

Scott and Alex were raised on Rom-Coms since their mother and father were always big fans of them.

Therefore Scott is a huge hopeless romantic.

He tried time and time again to approach you and introduce himself, he wanted what was known as a "meet-cute" in the rom-com world with you, but he always chickened out.

Scott was not the smoothest talker... so he always figured that if he tried to talk to you he would trip over his words and embarrass himself.

He almost considered giving up completely until you bumped into him.

Literally.

And your books went everywhere.

All Scott could think about was how in the movies, this was when the guy would help pick up the books and the soon-to-be couple's hands would touch, and then the couple would make eye contact.

He was too busy thinking about what he should do to actually have done it.

So when he came back to reality, you were already walking away with your garden dress flowing behind you.

Before he knew what he was doing he was calling after you. "Wait!"

You stopped and turned around, slightly annoyed. He didn't even apologize when he knocked you over, what could he want now? "Yes?"

"I um-" Suddenly, his brain refused to form words. Just as you were turning to walk away, he walked up to you and walked with you. "I'm sorry for bumping into you, and I'm sorry about not helping you pick up your books. My head was just- somewhere else. I'm just- sorry."

He did seem genuine, and now that you got a better look at him, he also seemed pretty cute. I mean, his eyes were blocked by his glasses, but you had heard of what happened when he didn't wear them. You stopped, and he stopped with you. "You don't need to be that sorry, I was actually the one that bumped into you. So really, I should be apologizing for that part. Though I do appreciate your apology for the lack of help on the pick-up end of things. Total jerk move."

He could tell you were joking with that last sentence. Oh my gosh. You two were joking! "I would list 'jerk' as one of my defining personality traits. Wow, look at us. We just started talking and we already know each other so well!"

You laughed at his joke.

He was internally freaking out. Oh my gosh, you laughed at his joke!

You reached out your hand to him. "I'm Y/N, by the way."

He shook your hand. "I'm Scott, and if you were to kindly drop your books again I would totally pick them up for you."

"I appreciate the theoretical gesture, Scott." He looked at you expectantly. "Oh, you mean, like... right now?"

"Yeah, why not?"

So, you decided to play along, dramatically, may I add. You dropped one of your books. "Oh, whatever will I do, with my possessions on the ground? A simple girl such as I could not manage to pick this book up!"

He leaned down, picked up your book, and handed it back to you with a bow. "Here you go! What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't pick up the book dropped by a pretty maiden?"

"A jerk, as we previously established."

"Of course, how could I have forgotten."

You were both smiling from ear to ear.

Scott ended up getting that meet-cute he wanted with you after all.

Whenever Scott pulls his cheesy crap it often seems over-the-top to you, but you go along with it anyway. Whenever his friends ask you why, you turn to point at Scott and say "Look at em'!" If they still somehow don't understand, you grab his cheeks and repeat:

Clueless has become the latest cult comedy movie to get the Honest Trailers treatment. Loosely based on Jane Austen’s novel, Emma, the teen rom-com is one of the defining movies of the mid-90s. Clueless centers around Beverley Hills socialite, Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), who is defined by her iconic fashion sense. She decides to take “tragically unhip” new girl, Tai (Brittney Murphy), under her wing – but when Tai’s newfound popularity strains their close friendship, Cher is forced to reassess her priorities. Clueless remains one of the most beloved teen comedies of all time, and fans were recently disappointed when news broke that the planned reboot TV series would not be moving forward at Peacock.

Now, Screen Junkies have softened the blow with their latest Honest Trailer, which pokes fun at Clueless as a paradigm of ’90s teen culture “as seen through the eyes of a much older screenwriter.” The trailer briefly mourns the loss of the mid-budget studio comedy before diving in to playfully ridicule everything from Cher’s “$10 vocabulary” to the undeniable awkwardness of her relationship with her ex-stepbrother and college kid, Josh (Paul Rudd). 3. MOVIE NIGHTS!!!! him setting out a space on the couch with blankets and pillows, taking you to get your favorite snacks n telling you that you can get whatever you want!!!! curling up to him n watching a rom com together (or buddy cop movie I feel like that’s very Him too)

and now *cracks knuckles* im gonna go crazy about erik. i have this cute au where Erik stays with the xmen (mostly bc i think erik looks SO good in his xmen uniform i go bananas at that scene) so that leaves me to think about: him getting back to xaviers late and curling up on the couch where i am bc he’s tired and just wants to not think for a moment. so he wraps me up in his arms n doesn’t let me go for a solid hour until i realize he has definitely fell asleep

spa days!!! showering together... washing each others hair... huddling in close so that we can both get the hot water... wrapping up in towels / robes after... sitting on the counter and having him slot himself between my legs so i can put a clay mask on his face... him doing the little nose scrunch because it’s cold... him offering to give me a massage!!! 

movie nights!!! our favorite take out, popcorn, candy, a couple of beers... my legs in his lap, my head on his shoulder, a blanket over the both of us... laughing at lines, repeating them to each other... pausing the movie to make commentary like we are our own MST3K... i think you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, a buddy cop movie DOES feel like him!!! we’d start with the nice guys and then perhaps he’d finally convince me to watch lethal weapon. and i’d doze off on him on the couch and he’d carry me to bed...

your Erik thoughts... absolutely exceptional... first off i am obsessed with the fact that you created an AU mostly because you like the uniform he wears like... be the change you wish to see. canon is YOURS, you might as well give yourself what you like!!! why NOT !!!

Its like SUCH a good archetype for quality romance! Lovers who can literally share body and soul and fuse into a stronger super awesome form powered by their love! And like being able to telepathically communicate would help so much with misunderstandings and stuff? You'd never argue! And the symbiote being a caring bf who can tell when his host bf is sick and take care of him. And being able to embrace so much that you literally fuse body and soul into a super dude DID I MENTION HOW COOL IT IS TO DO THAT?? Seriously its like 'sink into an embrace' but absolutely literally. Imagine like a magical girl transformation sequence where they smooch and then the symbiote fuses with him in super romantic style~! Also they can have dates on the top of buildings and other superpowered stuff. Also seriously its literally canon that symbiotes can actually have children via mitosis regardless of the host's gender, so they dont even need to adopt! It'd be so cute imagining them raising a tiny little blob beb who'd grow up as sort of the best of both worlds. Lil blob just goin 2 school like a normal kid and havin happey childhoode~ its kinda impossible, but let me still dream!!! Can someone call the xmen and get a scholarship for this bean?

Anyway that is my list of reasons why its a good ship for romantic reasons even if you're not into that wild monsterfucker kinky p/orn stuff. Let us live in the wholesome rom com monstersmoocher land instead! (Tho no offense to people who do like that stuff, have fun with it too!)

For 1 everyone in not me has more like heavy issues going on.
