How long has it been since I’ve made fanart? Too long! So here’s a piece I’ve been working on for a bit and finally finished! I’m so proud of this one, my word. ❤️💙💜

Oh and let’s not mind my artistic liberties on Brainy’s suit. I tried to stick to the shows original grey and purple color pallet at first. Though after a while my soul was slowly dying so I decided to take some inspiration from other Brainy’s too. Basically my Brainy is a mixture of the Retroreboot, the 2019 version, the 2021 version, and a little inspo from the LOSH Brainy. Though that Brainy was kind of lost in the mess. He still is one of my favorite Brainy’s though. Those stretchy limbs were literally hilarious on screen! Plus being able to just yoink his head off and carry it around, amazing! Also! Nobody question Winn’s absence of knee pads. I totally didn’t forget they existed before I rewatched both of the Toyman episodes yesterday.

Okay, first of all: there are too many books he appears in, so I just tried to list some important ones (and this not even close to listing everything!) And if you want to simply read books he is in, you really need to go through many team books.

The easy part, Nightcrawler series:

- Nightcrawler (1985-1986) - 4 issue- Nightcrawler Vol 2 (2002-2002)- 4 issue- Nightcrawler Vol 3 (2004-2006) - 12 issue- Nightcrawler Vol 4 (2014-2015) - 12 issue

- X-Men: Manifest Destiny Nightcrawler #1 (May, 2009)- X-Men Origins: Nightcrawler #1 (May, 2010)

- Uncanny X-Men: start with his first appearance in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975) but I’d say read UXM of 80’s.(AND/OR read Classic X-Men, which is a reprint of uncanny issues, but with new panels/stories!-Classic X-Men #1-45,-X-Men Classic #46-110)

- Excalibur (1988-1998) - a must

(After Excalibur he’s in Uncanny X-Men again - from 1998, so you can continue here )

But #Issue36 of the run from March of 1965 provided us with one hell of a team of villains... and a little celebratory engagement party featuring Earths Mightiest and Uncanny Heroes!!! . First we have the villains. Old Torch foes Paste Pot Pete, Sandman, The Wizard and a masked woman named “Medusa”. The three Torch foes faced off with Johnny in Strange Tales but now wanted a piece of the whole team... and that mysterious woman with the mask and killer hair is none other than a brainwashed Medusa of the Inhumans!!! . On the other hand Reed and Sue had there hands full with a small family party... their ENGAGEMENT PARTY! Having just come out in public as a couple, they did what superhero couples do: They invite the Avengers and X-Men over to the Baxter Building for a jammy Jam!!! .
