Xmas ideas for my family using only the stuff I have on hand because I’m poor:

Daughter: an amigurumi dinosaur

My fiancée: an amigurumi shrimp. Listen. He gets it. 🦐

Mother inlaw: amigurumi dolphin, or crochet scrunchie haven’t decided

Brother inlaw: amigurumi doctor pepper keychain? My mans is addicted

Sister inlaw #1: hanging plant amigurumi

Sort of also father inlaw adjacent: a chill pill keychain amigurumi

The people idk wtf to make:

Sort of mom (Its our joke she’s my mom now but like, she’s my mom now): no fucking clue. She’s very clean and loves purple but like, idk wtf to make her

Father inlaw: also no fucking clue. He travels a lot, likes coffee, but like, idfk

Niece: this child has everything. Seriously she has everything. I have no idea wtf to make her. Maybe hair stuff? Idfk

Sister inlaw #2: idfk she’s an emt and super into fitness and like…. Idkkkkk

Christmas at home is always a difficult time for me. My parents are very intense and extroverted people, and living in another city has made me lost the habit of their pace. I have managed to achieve peace and slow down in my life, but when I return to my family home, everything is three times faster and three times louder. That's why this year I'm sitting in a rocking chair and crocheting, it gives me some sense of security.

Forgot to share my Halloween crochet bits before I left on vacation. Green/purple dress, candy corn dress, and a candy corn Huggy bag charm buddy for my purse ^^

Skull earrings crocheted with glow in the dark embroidery floss and a 1.5mm hook. Soaked in mod podge water and left to dry overnight to stiffen.

These were so quick to make and I love them. If embroidery floss weren't such a pain to work with I'd make so many of these and just give them away.

so when we first got my kitty Oliver, I gave him a webkinz frog as his first toy and he beat the absolute shit out of it. a few years later, I got him a new one and that one only occasionally gets pummeled. But I found a third one the other day and decided to do a little transplant.

Im taking out the beans in the feet (he popped the bags on the original one so that was a fun mess) and im replacing the beans with catnip bc they (Oliver and Pepper (my other baby)) LOVE catnip so fucking much so I think they'll really enjoy this :)

But I thought I'd share in case anyone was wondering how the beans were set up in webkinz feet.

We are so fucking back... All of the yarn I frogged is now completely used up and now, I can move on. It's crazy, I lost about thirteen inches (from 30in/76cm to 17in/43cm) since I've done this properly. It looks so much better, I could care less when this is what it looked like before:
