Y’all you cannot have a negative opinion on Talia in the Sidemen fandom holy shit I know I post negative shit about her a lot on here but that’s only bc this is the only place I can and I feel vindicated that some other people get where I’m coming from, if not fully share my feelings

Someone posted about how she’s in the new video on Reddit so I commented asking why she was there (genuinely, why was she there and why did we need to know), and said that I thought she killed the vibes of the jokes, and I am being attacked from all sides

For real though, I can’t be the only one who saw the energy change whenever Kon panned to her after Tobi or Simon made a sex joke. I get that maybe it was funny the first time, but every time they make a joke? Too much. Also if Tobi can’t make a “Simon has a small dick” joke without him or Simon having to clarify that Talia is fine with his size, and Simon can’t pretend to flirt with a statue without asking if she’s cool with it, then what’s the point of the jokes? They ruin them by explaining them or checking to see if she approves (and if she has to approve them, edit it out, we don’t need to see it every single time). We didn’t even need to know she was there, her presence brought literally nothing to the video, she could’ve stayed off camera and it would’ve been the same thing.

Ranking the Sidemen by how good they would be as a boyfriend…

I’m not insinuating any of them are bad but I’m just ranking from good to not as good, ya get me? This is also based on real life and is different to my fics since I kinda make them the best version of themselves in those, anyways enjoy!🤗

I’m sure he’s lovely but we haven’t seen any of his relationships which I understand wanting to keep your life private but I think it’s just a little strange?? There’s not much I can say about him but unfortunately he gives me weird vibes😭.

6- Behzinga

I think behz is pretty bang average. I like the banter him and Faith share and he seems like a great dad❤️‍🩹. The Mia thing is till a little crazy to me though since Faith was also heavily pregnant but we move👀.

5- W2S

As Gracie said in her post he’s very spontaneous which could be difficult but I think he’d be a pretty decent boyfriend. He doesn’t really discuss his love life but when he was with Katie they seemed to be happy. I also think that once he got into a serious relationship he’d be the type of guy to settle down + he has spoken a few times about having kids and others speak highly of him when it comes to how he is with Olive, for me that’s a green flag💞.

4- Vikstar

We don’t know loads about Vik’s relationship but he seems respectful and I think (from what I’ve seen) him and Ellie are well suited for each other. They have a house, dog and are married which is cute🐶.

3- KSI

For me JJ is pretty high on my list. Whenever he speaks about his girlfriend on side+ it’s always lovely things. I know that they broke up for a little while but it seemed like a healthy break up and not really toxic or anything. Overall I think he’s probably a great bf😌.

2- Zerkaa

I love Josh and Freya’s relationship! I think they’re so cute together and the fact they’re high school sweethearts🥹. Josh seems like a brilliant boyfriend. They go on holidays together, she’s in his vlogs and whenever he talks about her they’re relationship always sounds really healthy.

1- Miniminter

Simon is number one because Talia and his relationship is basically what I’d want. They seem to care deeply about each other. They don’t share loads about their love life but they don’t need to, you can just tell they’re great together by seeing their playful banter and the way they interact. He also seems present and he makes sure everything’s fair, like him and Talia take turns looking after the dogs to make sure the other can do what they need to do (I know that’s a basic thing but it was just an example)💝.

Tonight you were celebrating, celebrating your friendship with the Sidemen. You had been with the boys for ten years, you started the channel from nothing to amazing things. And tonight you were going to party and celebrate!

You were dressed in your outfit of choice, you had gone out with Talia, Faith, Freya and Ellie to get your outfits and having a little girls day for yourselves. Your outfit suited you very well, it matched your personality and showed your true colours. You were excited, you were excited to see the boys and everyone there.

You were currently just arriving to the event, you had a lift from Tobi as he didn’t live too far from you. So he offered and you accepted, you had your arm around Tobi’s as you both entered the large room. Decorated in xix and sidemen theme items. You were amazed, you and the boys never thought your channel would come this far; so it was a blessing.

You spotted Ethan and Faith, not too far from the bar. So you walked over to them, “Hey guys!” You waved and gave them a hug each. Ethan spoke “you excited, Y/n?” You nodded “yeah, can’t believe it’s ten years!” He too nodded. Faith put her hand out and said “let’s go and get some drinks, darling.” You smiled and took her hand as you both made your way to the bar. You both got some drinks and started up a conversation.

As time passed more people would arrive and start to fill up the place. You really didn’t expect it to be this many people but you were managing for the time being. You were currently standing with Harry, Calfreezy, Chip and Callux. The boys were chewing your ears off as they drank more and more. But it did help you a little as it was more like a distraction from the amount of people there. You were holding onto Harry’s arm as you felt it was a comforting thing to do.

But as time moved on, you grew more and more anxious. The lights started to become brighter, the smells of different cologne and perfume started to fill your lungs, the more people that were there made you feel like your were trapped and it was getting better.

Although you were feeling more anxious time did continue to fly by, not that it felt like it at all but it did.

You felt awful, everything started to make you feel overwhelmed and overstimulated. You knew you couldn’t handle anymore, so you did what you needed to do. You tapped Harry and spoke “I’m gonna go for some fresh air.” He nodded and said “text me if you need anything, ok?” You nodded and quickly left the overcrowded area.

To be honest with you Harry was planning on joining you anytime soon, he couldn’t take it much longer as he too doesn’t like events like this. But he was able to manage it far better than you did. Deep down he knew something was up, he wanted to give you a minute or two alone so you could get some peace and he promised himself that if you were gone for more than five minutes then he’s coming to check on you.

You stumbled out of the area, you weren’t drunk, just overstimulated. You sat down trying to catch your breath, you started to panic. Tears started to form you felt weak like a sick person with no appetite. You couldn’t bear it no more, Tobi was first to notice you weren’t glued to Harry as you usually were. So he went over and asked were you were “Harry, where’s Y/n/n?” He said “gone for some fresh air but I think it might be more than that.” Tobi nodded. Tobi said “I’ll text Y/n, could you go to the bar and ask for a water?” Harry said “yeah, do you want me to text the boys?” Tobi gave him a thumbs up as he started to text you.

Y/n: kinda…

Tobi: where are you?

Y/n: I’m outside by that balcony area

Tobi: omw stay there, ok?

You were sat on a bench, phone in your lap as tears fell down your cheeks. You felt like you had been drained of all emotions. You heard the door click then open, you looked over to see Tobi and the boys. They closed the door behind them, Ethan and Tobi sat besides you and the rest sat or stood around you. The boys who stood made sure they gave you enough space that didn’t make you feel more uncomfortable. Tobi spoke “here, Harry got you some water for you.” You gave a small smiled and thanked him. Ethan placed an arm on the back of the bench “would you like us to stay out here with you for a bit?” You nodded as you leaned against him. The boys knew that you were overstimulated so they never mentioned it as it was like a unspoken promise that they’d look after you till you felt better.

So what they usually do is ask you things, like what your plans are tomorrow or what video are you going to film next. The boys knew that they would have to take there time. But they knew that no matter the situation you were in or what was happening around you; they’d always be there and stop what they were doing. This was one of many reasons you loved them. You may not be family, but you friends. But this friendship between the eight of you was just like family.

You fidgeted with Ethan’s rings while the boys were in conversation. You slowly became yourself again, knowing you’d probably ruined their fun you spoke “I’m sorry I probably just ruined your night.” The boys were quick to defend Simon said “no you didn’t, honestly your our main priority over a party.” Harry spoke “I couldn’t of lasted any longer either.” JJ said “Y/n, if you need our help we’ll do whatever it takes, even if this party was for us, we don’t care as long as your alright.” The boys agreed. Ethan looked at his phone and told you “Faith has just texted me and said that there isn’t much people there now. Only close friends and family.” You asked “really?” He nodded and showed a little video Faith made showing the people there. You said “I can deal with that.” You smiled more now.

The boys all gave you a hug each and a kiss on your forehead, a thing they have always down for you, no matter if their in a relationship or not.

You walked back in with the boys and you all enjoyed the rest of the party. The boys enjoyed it way more as there was less people and more people that they knew well. Which made your night a lot better than before. You were glad you had them as friends. The boys always have your back no matter the circumstances. They love you and you loved them.

I think the sidemen did pretty well with their streaming stuff. I remember when they first launched it and josh said on twitch (or youtube..?) that they weren't paywalling any existing content. Any content that was free before side+ is free afterwards and they haven't slacked in quality or quantity.

Also I think the sidemen have managed to make it worth it beyond getting more content and the censored stuff. Members get other benefits like having side+ members get priority tickets for their events like the charity match and jjs misfits events, giveaways and vouchers for their clothing/xix alcohol/sides eats/cereal/trading cards, and they get members involved in polls & game shows in their special series, and bring them in for actual sidemen sunday videos.

i think sidemen are one of the few youtubers who have executed the streaming thing well

i remember when they first announced it people were going crazy about it. and also i remember i had this fear of missing out on not having side+. but that feeling completely disappeared! i think because they still produce good content with good quality and production. and also because they didn't shove side+ on our faces. but i'm glad it worked well at the end!

i hope watcher saw what the sidemen did and took some inspiration from it lol

Concept: you are Josh’s sister and you and Simon have always for as long as you can remember disliked each other, until one day when you both get stuck together, things change.

“Honestly, Y/N. You and Simon cannot possibly hate each other for the rest of your lives, that’s just not how things work,” Josh, my brother, moaned, grabbing the box of cereal out of the high cupboard that you couldn’t reach, you had already asked Simon but he responded with “Grow a little,” and walked out of the kitchen. “It’s immature,”

“There is so much sexual tension between you both it is unreal!” Lewis chuckled, joining in on our conversion. I just looked at him and flipped him the middle finger. Causing him to laugh even more.

“He just winds me up so much. Like is there any need for the petty little remarks about me all the time? I know I do it back but he practically forces me too,” I groaned. I grabbed a bowl from underneath the kitchen island and poured my cereal in, followed by the milk. I pulled one of the brown chairs out from underneath and sat down. I don’t know what it is that has actually made me and Simon hate each other so much. It can go from stupid teasing around to full on insulting each other, it’s almost like he has rehearsed what he is going to say to me before he has even stepped foot into the room, and then when he is in the room; his eyes never ever leave me. I’ve liked Simon for such a long time, when I first moved in about two years ago, he would show the same feelings but something changed and I don’t know what it was. At some times I’ve though that oh maybe he’s grown up a little bit and we can put the feud behind us, then is almost as if it ticks in his head and he starts again, but this is always when we’re around other people. It’s very rare that me and Simon are alone together but when we are, its normally just an awkward silence.

I quickly washed up my bowl and the spoon, placing them on the draining board next to the sink, telling Josh I am going to get changed.

“Oh my god at least lock the door when you’re in here,” I frowned. I had walked straight into the bathroom, which no one really uses so I didn’t expect anybody to actually been here. Little did I know Simon is stood in front of the mirror, styling his hair. Because I didn’t think anybody was in here, I automatically shut the door behind me.

“If you didn’t know, I’m going out with Tallia,” Simon mumbled, still concentrating on doing his hair. To say his hair looks the same everyday. I didn’t know it took this long to do. “And the door sticks and the lock jams that’s what I didn’t shut the door,”

“Fuck..” I groaned, realising I had shut the brown wooden door behind me when I walked in, as well as twisting the lock on instinct. I turned around and hit my head on the door in frustration.

“Are you actually being serious?” Simon growled, slamming the cupboard door which he had put his hair gel back in. “I’m supposed to be meeting Tallia in 15 minutes I’m Westfield,”

“What your Ex Tallia? Who cheated on you? Not once but 3 times? And I’m the one that had to break the news to you and show you the evidence because no one else would dare do it? Yeah that one.” Simon didn’t say anything. He sat on the edge of the bath, his eyes glaring at me. Everyone thought Tallia was lovely, a sweetheart, yet when I was out shopping with Freya, we saw her having a cute candlelit dinner with another Man, knowing full well she told Simon she couldn’t see him that night because she had “plans with the girls”. The same happened on numerous occasions and it wasn’t always the same man who she was with. Me and Freya and the other lads would take photos of her out if we saw her. No one else would dare tell Simon, they didn’t want to break he is heart. They couldn’t quite grasp the fact that he was being played around, so I did it. Admittedly he shed a few tears and I was the one to comfort him but, why would he possibly want to go back to her?

“She’s changed,” he grumbled, putting his head into his hands. The situation clearly winding him up.

“She said the exact same after the first time it happened, and then did it again,”. I looked at Simon who still had his head in his hands, his legs bounced on the floor, making his whole body shake.

“Why are you so bothered?” Simon said roughly, sitting up now to face me. His face red and you could tell it was stressing it out. “It’s not your life. You hate me. Why would you care that I’m going out with Tallia?”

“I-“ I begin to say but I couldn’t get me words out.

“You wanna know why?” Simon stood up, coming closer to my body, making me become stiff and unable to move. “I’m going out with Tallia because I need to get over you.” He whispered, one of his arms leant again the door behind my back. get over me? Why would he need to get over me? He makes out that he hates me on every single chance he gets. “You drive me insane. How can you not see that I like you? Tallia is my only way of getting over you, and if she hurts me again then at least it will hurt less than being rejected by you,” He voice got even lower, his face inches away from mine. I could smell the peppermint from his toothpaste brushing against my lips.

“Simon, girls don’t like it when you constantly insult them. When you make fun of them,” I began, rolling my eyes. “Maybe if you had made your feelings obvious instead of making out that you hate me then things would be different,”

My breathing became faster as he placed his free hand onto my hip, I don’t think I have ever been this close to Simon. It is getting me all flustered and it’s almost as if my body doesn’t know what to do. “I’m sorry,” he placed his forehead on mine, Simon trying to steady his breathing as well. “I’m scared of the thought of you rejecting me, if I wind you up and get a reaction out of you, that’s more time spent with you. You know I’m awkward, I can’t talk to people normally. I don’t even know how the hell i’m doing this.” He started out at talking at a normal volume, but as his got to the end of the sentence, he looked in my eyes and his voice went back to a whisper, with the hand which was on my hip, now coming to rest on the back of my neck with his thumb rubbing circles on my cheek. We stood in silence, just looking at each other. Neither of us knowing what to say and neither of us knowing what to do about the situation. “You’re beautiful,” he whispered, even quieter than last time. I placed one of my hands on his cheek, the gesture slightly shocking Simon. He dipped his head more to my height so he wasn’t bending over me as much because of how much smaller than him I am. He looked at me for a few more minutes, his eyes flickering between my lips and my eyes.

“You can kiss me you know,” I whispered with a slight giggle, becoming impatient over the fact that we are both just stood here looking at each other.

“You don’t realise how long I have waited to hear you say that,” he groaned, his lips coming into contact with mine. There was nothing subtle or calm about the kiss, it’s rough and somewhat passionate. My arms slid around Simon’s neck as our lips continued to move in sync. There was no cliché butterflies in my stomach, but it was definitely something more. Simon’s hands travelled down from my face, down my waist and down to my bum. He used this as his opportunity to pick me up, wrapping my legs around his waist so he could push me up against the door, making me more his height.

He licked my bottom lip, almost as if he was asking if he could do it, but I wasn’t wasting any time. As lewis said, there is definitely so much sexual tension that we didn’t even realise was there. Our lips carried on dancing together, my hands now playing in Simon’s hair, causing him to let out a small grown as I pulled it slightly. Simon made sure he had good hold of me as we moved over to the bathroom counter so I was still the same height as Simon. One of his hands went into my hair and he pulled my head back slightly, so he had more room to attach his lips to my neck, making me crumble underneath his touch, my heart racing so fast. He layed kisses all the way down my neck to my collar, slightly sucking on some areas, making a shiver go down my spine. I tried to hold on my whimpers but it wasn’t working, it was almost as if Simon is fuelling off of the noise, smirking against my skin. He pushed his body closer to mine, his lower half pushing against my own making me whimper even more, he also let out a groan at the same time as he continued to kiss and suck on the skin of my neck.

“Oops. Looks like I’ve stood her up,” Simon chuckled, looking down at his watch before looking back into my eyes.

“Just shut up,” I groaned, pulling him closer to me again, earning a smirk and s groan out of him in the process as his lips landed straight back onto mine.
