Despite the time paradox self-repairing, Omi's meddling in the timelines still had consequences in the form of everyone gaining bits and pieces of timelines that never were or could be. The question is, how do these pieces fit together in this timeline, and whose downfall will it be?

The Dragon of Wood may be the key, but to what? With all the things evil hides in darkness, it is unclear.

It is the Year of the Wood Dragon. So I decided to do a vague lore drop for my Xiaolin fic.

I'm expanding a lot of the existing canon lore to explain some things about how Dragon warriors work.

should I continue my xiaolin showdown fanfic?

ok so I started a fanfic for xiaolin showdown but quickly dropped it. Well I shared thinking about it and wonder if I should continue it.

The summary is that it continues after season 3 with rai having a hard time taking charge. He starts to panic under the pressure and if it wasn't bad enough. A new threat of 3 heylin witches are awaken. Even wuya is concerned about them. To make it even more difficult master fung has them retrieve new fighter of two young girls to help the battle. It's pretty much a journey of rai learning to be a leader,help the allies except themselves and stop the threat.

So should I continue this fanfic?

I've been utterly fascinated by Good (better? nicer?) Chase design by @lizard-color4 from this post and desperately wanted to know more. Who's this man? What's his story? Why is his hand bandaged? Why is his fashion taste is so much better than Original Chase? And why the hell does his hug looks so nice??

So I read this cool fic by @csdp-disasterhotline and I really wanted to do fanart of it. I am not sure if I managed to make the conversion from skin to scales this time, but I tried.

We need more evil Jacks, you know, for evil's sake.

It seems all Xiaolin Chronicles is on YouTube.

Despite watching XS multiple times and being vaguely aware when it came out I had never watched XC

Despite having seen some clips from XC ages ago it's really not what I expected.

Im ngl the CGI Tron ass Showdowns made me laugh a little at how unexpected they where

The VA changes were expected but still feel strange! (Clay in particular loses his southern charm)

Also; look at how they massacred my boy

They took peak design and fumbled the bag.

Also why does he get his red eyes back in the 2010 Wii game shovel wear ass CGI

I do actually think the showdowns having an animation style change is very cool and could have been done well. I just don't think the CGI aged well.

Willow/shadows design goes hard as fuck!

The jealousy arc from Omi is kinda annoying but he is so cute I literally can't stop loving him. I'm so glad he kept the same VA because it would probably be unwatchable otherwise.

Ping pong is cute but is literally Omi 2. Him speaking lots of languages at the start was pretty cute!

Chase is serving high camp but he's only in it for one scene

I'm ngl watching feels like watching a young kids fanfic of XS.

I'll write an actual review at some point but damn if I would have tuned in expecting more XS i'd have been a little disappointed but tentatively hopeful?

I guess I'll have to watch more.

Hey, been a while! I haven't been posting much due to the fact that I got gravely sick these past few months (+ stress from other personal stuff) and couldn't be bothered to go on here much. But now that I'm feeling slightly better, thought I'd drop in and show some character design stuff I did of my OCs for my fic (im still working out the kinks so the next update won't be out for a while sadly)

Spoiler warning tho, cuz I haven't written these characters in yet

First off, here's a refined version of my OC I previously showed before (she still doesn't have a concrete name yet but for now I'm calling her "JD" (which is short for "Jane Doe"))

She serves as a key role in the main story, as an unsuspecting bean has plans for her that she's not ready to face on.

Next OC I want to introduce is a personal favorite of mine: Soul!

In this fic, Soul is heavily connected to Chase Young's past; more specifically, Chase Young's early days of joining Heylin. I wanted to explore what it was like for Chase having to grow accustomed to the Heylin side the moment he switched sides, and Soul plays a big role in shaping who he is today.

Honestly I can't wait to write those chapters because their history together is... something. (And also Soul goes thru an unexpected character growth since the last time Chase saw him)

Last OC I wanna introduce is Lady Lian! I don't want to dive deep into her role cuz I want her story to be completely spoiler-free. But just know that there's a reason her hair and eye color is similar to JD's.

Hopefully my health will improve soon so that I can finally share this one XS story that I've stored in my brain since I was 17 :))

Now for a little special treat for today, some character onions I use as reference for how I characterize Feng Spicer and Future Omi.

If you haven't used a character onion before, the pattern is that the character in the center is the core character, or the main blueprint for who they are. The inner circle is the characters that they have the strongest associations with the character, usually they have very strong parallels in personality or themes. And the outermost circle is characters who also hold significant analytical value, but can range anywhere from vibes to sharing a few notable aspects with the character.

Chase* walks slowly behind Jack after closing the door, putting one hand on top of Jack’s hand and an arm wrapped Jack’s waist, leaning forward with a mischievous smile across his lips.*

Jack *flustered and confused*: Ch-Chase..???

Chase * now leaning closer towards Jack, his lips within proximity of Jack’s ear*: puuuuuurrrrrrrrrr.

[imagine a low, seductive purring sound]

Jack *wide eyed and blushing with shaky breaths, turns his head towards Chase*

Chase: Time to play~. *chuckles to himself*.

Omi took a deep breath to center himself and reminded himself of the important lesson he had learned from Grandmaster Dashi himself.

He held out his hand. “May I have the Wu? Please.” He said, pronouncing every syllable loudly to make sure Chase Young could not question what he had heard.
