What I would do...MLP Gen 5

Alright, so to start, I loved Gen 5. I wish it could have continued, but I understand why it couldn't. I would also be up for a reboot of Gen 5 with the same characters but with a different story. Seriously, I felt there was so much potential with these characters.

Either way with the end of the series I thought I would share a bit about what I would do if I changed it.

To start I would change the ending of the movie. I would have it be where Sunny does get the wings and horn but they were only there as a symbol. Similar to the ending of the music video "My past is not today" I would also make the crystal shatter at the end to show they are not needed anymore.

Next, I would still have a bit of Gen 4 lore but not be so dependent on it, specifically the main 6 of Gen 4. Instead, I would keep them as heroes, but the separation of ponies came AFTER their time. This is because I never thought alicorns were immortal; they just have a longer life. I would also keep landmarks and similar animals.

I would also make the crystal's creator be someone else. I am thinking Flurry Heart as an adult.

Here is what I am thinking. During Flurry's rule Twilight and Cadence were retired like Luna and Celestia. Maybe even gone if you want to get dark. Either way, she eventually meets Opaline. (I seriously hated the idea of her being from the same time as young Luna and Celestia and yet is the only one still alive. Seriously? There was no logic there) They become enemies and eventually fight. However with trickery, Opaline wins. kind of. You see, before Flurry is defended aka banished she realizes that the pony kind would fall to ruin because of Opaline and the ponies fighting so to stop it she created the crystals and scattered them. At the same time, she is banished and now Opaline is trapped in a world without magic. Take note Flurry Heart made it a condition that to get magic back ponies have to unite again. Something that would never happen with Opaline in charge.

That is pretty much the backstory of the crystals. After magic returns, there is no need for them again so they shatter and magic returns permanently. Opaline who is still around but was in a hibernation state (not sure how yet. maybe discord or dragons?) returns and while getting a grasp of the new era she plans her counterattack. Meanwhile, Flurry tried to contact someone to help her get free and help defeat Opaline.

Off-track thoughts:

Maybe Misty is the only one that can hear Flurry's voice and that is why she joins the gang and why Opaline targets her.

Maybe at the end, they all hear Flurry’s voice, free her and with Flurry Heart and the new mane 6 working together they defeat Opaline.  Not says Flurry will stay though.  I think she will retire too and travel the new world similar to what StarSwirl the bearded did once he was free.

Oh maybe Flurry was the princess of unity and passed the title on to Sunny after she pulls a Celestia and makes Sunny a princess.  

Or the main 6 became the unity council and none of them turned into princesses/princes.

so since the episode "oops" came out I have got many ideas I want to write out. I have so many I thought I share them as prompts for others to use if they want. So here they are"

Fizz runs away for a little while since Ozzie won't let him go out.

fizz and Moxxie talk things out about what happens at Ozzie's.

Fizz asks Blitzo to perform with him one time

Fizz visits the surface (by accident or by choice,)

Ozzie and Fizz have a casual date

How Fizz and Ozzie meet

How Fizz got his dog things (leash included)

What if scenario on what would happen if Blitzo did give the letter to Fizz instead of walking away

Ozzie had to leave for a while so what will Fizz do.

A fight/agreement between Mammon and Ozzie over Fizz. (Past or present)

Blitzo's Dad reappears (who says he is dead)

Halloween party at Ozzie's and Blitzo and Stolas are invited

It's Valentine's date and Blitzo and Stolas need some help

Ozzie tries to celebrate Fizz's birthday but he still has trauma over what happened on his birthday

OK this might be my most favorite commission from  @cyaneworks ever.  This far surpassed my expectations.  It looks so awesome!  This is like a sequel image to the dark Tails commission I got awhile back.

I just HAD to get a commission of Mira meeting her ideal Fizzarolli in the style of @angietswing. She is a huge fan of his and he is like her inspiration for becoming a performer despite how different she looks.

She became a fan instantly after seeing one of Fizz's performances. She was amazing that an Imp with prosthetics bet the odds and found fame.

This also shows her habit of bringing her tail up to try and hide her face when she gets nervous or embarrassed.

Octavia is there since she was the link to Mira meeting Fizz and Ozzie is there for obvious reasons.

Alright here is yet another absolutely fantastic Commission drawn by @cyaneworks.

This is a version of Tails that will appear in my latest story idea that I am still working on. I call this one Sentient Tails since it is a being called Sentient who will temporarily take the form of Tails.

Here is yet another amazing commission from @angietswing. I swear they might be one of my favorite commissioners. Either way I had to get a commission of my OC Mira an Octavia as kids and the result is so cute. I absolutely love it!

OH MY GOODNESS! Look at this! look at this commission drawn by @angietswing. I love it so much.

Now believe it or not but I originally created Mira to be a love interest for Octavia in a fanfic I was planning eventually I dropped the story and created a story for Mira herself. Been debating on if they should end up together in it or if it just ends with them crushing on each other.

For a bit of background. Mira is a singer and cover artist online which Octavia is a fan of. Since Mira sings a very wide range of genres there are ones Octavia likes. Then one day while they happened to be in the same place at the same time Octavia heard Mira singing and recognized the voice. and things go on from there.

They bond over their not so great family situations and music. They may have different interests but they(mainly Mira) are interesting in trying what the other likes.

Alright so for a TMNT fanfic I am working on I asked @ssilverscale  to draw the rat kings resign and OH MY GOODNESS he turned out Great!

As you can see he is now more then just a RAT king. Now he is a crazy rat man who has an extreme thirst for power and after the original rat mutation he saw the power in it and furthered his mutation. Now he is mostly rat but he also has snake skin over one eye, a goats eye, a hawks talon as a hand, a horses hoof as one foot, a dogs leg as the other, part of an armadillo's shell on his back, sharks teeth and finally porcupine quills randomly over his body. He is still able to control rat but he also as additions powers like gorilla strength, a bats loud screech and potentially more.

Alright, this time, Mira is performing. I designed this outfit while listening to Hazbin Hotel's "Poison." It does not resemble Angel's outfit, but oh well. Now, this is not her favorite outfit—far from it—but she is still a professional and will push through a performance wearing whatever is given to her.
