Highly unlikely theory for episode 6 (because this donghua always manages to surprise me lol)

How funny (tragic) would it be if, in Lu Guang���s attempt to change things and save Cheng Xiaoshi, he actually ends up making it worse and leading him straight to the grave?

My theory is that Lu Guang will attempt something drastic and fail, leading Cheng Xiaoshi to an even earlier death. We know for a fact that he failed this attempt because this seems to be the first alternate timeline, and in the Season 2 finale, he says “my last chance,” implying he has already repeated these events several times.

There’s no way Vein would just fall for whatever plan Lu Guang has. Does Lu Guang not know Vein is part of some sort of mafia? Vein is clearly not just some random guy running a modeling agency—he knows a lot, starting with the fact that they have powers to alter time. His official bio even states that he dislikes lies. And who’s the biggest liar? Lu Guang, of course.

Also, some think the person grabbing Xia Fei in the trailer is Vein, but it’s definitely not him because of the lack of sleeves. It’s either Lu Guang or Cheng Xiaoshi—I’m leaning toward the latter. Cheng Xiaoshi has trusted Xia Fei so far, but in this scene, Xia Fei looks scared and is trying to run away, only to be stopped by CXS, who’s ready to confront him. (Btw, my guess is that Xia Fei's attempt to get out of his deal with Liu Xiao was a complete failure).

Here’s my crazy theory: Lu Guang goes missing (likely kidnapped by Vein), and Xia Fei starts acting suspicious, which Cheng Xiaoshi notices. This forces Xia Fei to spill the truth—that he’s a spy who’s been using them and was never really their friend. True to his reckless nature, Cheng Xiaoshi will try to save Lu Guang and might end up dying in the process, forcing Lu Guang to reset the timeline again, possibly to a point before Yingdu to prevent them from ever going on that trip. After all, even Cheng Xiaoshi’s mother warned them: “Don’t let him come to Yingdu.”

I don’t think this arc will have a happy ending. The number of inconsistencies between this timeline and the current one suggests this is another of Lu Guang’s failed attempts. If this is the current timeline, it would lead to the biggest plot holes given how events have unfolded so far. Actually, I’d love to make a detailed post pointing out all the differences between the events of these episodes and the flashbacks we’ve seen from Seasons 1 and 2.

Let's see... my opinion on your muses/portrayals... can't speak on portrayals because they're all OCs, so it's not like I can judge portrayals based off accuracy by any means, but I certainly can say a thing or two about the characters themselves-- I can try to, anyways.

From recollection, the muses of yours that have appeared on my blog are: Xiao Yao, Dalbar, Miceli, and Luca in order of least interaction to the most.

Xiao Yao isn't on your current roster list, and this was like 4 years ago so unfortunately I don't really remember much about him aside from the fact that he was tall and blond so Haru mistook him for Dino from behind kekeke.

Dalbar seems to be a cute lil dude. A lil quiet, but I do have a certain soft spot for that //motions to some of her silent/less talkative muses. He gave me the feel of an obedient guard/attack dog or something. I feel like he's just someone who would grow on me because like-- he might be the same height as me, and he just seems to be a good natured lil dude. Ignore the fact he's an assassin, HE GUD BOI!

Miceli-- my immediate thought when I think about him is: GRRRRRRR what kind of evollll will he invoke on Haru this time? Is he going to be mean to her and say something sarcastic? Maybe he'll just piss her off somehow gr grrrrrrr. Of course, this isn't to mean that I dislike him, I find him fun. It's amusing having someone who irritates Haru in the Varia verse- and that's mostly anyone. Miceli is starting to grow on her though with the repeated interactions and such. He may be rude to her at times, by saying sarcastic things, but he has moments of showing some level of interest/concern for her? Though, Haru can tell that he's not really interested in her in a way that matters. She gets the feel that he has interest in the way that a scientist does when performing an experiment and something goes wrong and he goes ??? I can relate. //Sad and annoyed chemist noises. As his lil bio blurb says, he is a mysterious one, and the air of his mystery is maintained well. It's a lil harder for me to get a grasp on him as a character, and I think that's what makes it interesting and yet difficult to write with him at times, as I'm not really sure who he is to understand him kekekek. A fun puzzle!

Luca, MY SWEET BOI. WHO I BASICALLY HAVE PARTIAL CUSTODY OVER AT THIS POINT. I adore him very much. MY LIL BBUUUUU!!!! I do know that he's a pretty complex kinda guy and that he has his... issues, but he does do his best! He's been through things and I just want to give him a BIIIIIG hug! He's not allowed to get hurt! The only kinda pain I'll accept is forehead flicks and 'oh look I just killed Haru/Ravein because I wanna see the world burn!!!' 8D Alas... Blaise is a coward and won't let me hurt Haru/Ravein (1000% joking). I think i've seen him absolutely lose it maybe once or twice in the years that we've known each other and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Ehehe~ It's my secret aim to not only get to know him better through interactions/memes but to also make him snap again. I LOVE to see variation in behaviors, so making him snap is a treat. Of course, I still love gud boi Luca who is a pair with the other 'dumber' Ravein. Haru truly has so much to deal with whenever the trio gets together kekw. He is the only one aside from Tenka's Bel and my OC Ravein that Haru feels comfortable with. She's actually affectionate towards all 3 and cares for them. Anyone else, it's just Eh- you exist and I don't really care for you much. He just has the kind of personality that meshes well enough with her that it sparks her protective instinct and the doting energy that Haru has to have regardless of the verse. I love him for that.

MY DARLING BLAISE!

We've known each other for years now and though interactions have been on and off during those years, we did still talk OOC quite a bit. So, I feel like, I'd be comfortable in saying yeeeee we friends outside of RPC.

Time differences are truly the bane, however. We both work, and with the field that you're in, it's understandable that you aren't always online or have the bandwidth to talk much.

STILL! The moments you are able to sit down and talk, you've always been just the sweetest lil bean.

I don't think I've ever admitted this to you before--- but better late than never AMIRITE? So we've been mutuals with each other for quite a while now even if it was rather on and off. From my recollection, we were mutuals but didn't really start interacting with eachother until a while into our friendship, likely due to schedules being really busy and what not.

It was also a time when you kept jumping from one blog to another blog so it was a lil hard to keep up with you at times. STILL, the main point is regardless of how many times you've jumped blogs (and you and I both know there's been a number of that over the years), you always did follow me consistently and that's always meant a lot to me.

I've hinted at things here and there in meme answers or conversations i've had with people but I've never actually sat down and spoke about it. I've come extremely close to quitting KHR RPC twice. The first time was when I first joined the RPC (back in like 2014-2015) and it was just... a time. I was feeling really discouraged and there were... incidents that occurred that really hurt me. I'd feel like such a waste of space, or that no one actually cared. If anyone did, it was because of the friends I had (I somehow got along with the Hibari's of the fandom lololol sigh).

Both of them aren't really online anymore but Emi/Emiko and Kiril were the two who I stuck around for. Both of them consistently stayed by my side and enjoyed writing with Haru. They both consistently wrote with me whenever they were able to and enjoyed indulging in my shenanigans. Both of them have left the KHR RPC for a while now.

I came close to leaving again like... a little bit before or at the very start of the pandemic time. We were ALL going through it, honestly. We were all struggling, but it was around that time when the KHR RPC was really really small and I'd gotten out of a really bad time with an RP group that left me with a bit of trauma that took me years to process and get over.

It was hard, because I was going through panic attacks somewhat frequently, and I would occasionally get anon hate- which obviously- isn't very conducive to me conjuring the desire to stick around.

The actual point of all this, is that you're actually one of the reasons why I stuck around. Even though you were struggling and you were having a hard time with life and feeling insecure/unwanted/unneeded/etc you were still trying. It was in a way uplifting to see the fact that you were trying hard even if things were a struggle. You would also talk to me and were in general very kind. I think around this time is where you were really jumping around blogs a lot (I think you were avoiding someone or something like that), but again you still consistently followed me on whichever blog you migrated to.

It really truly meant so much to me at the time when I was feeling so godawful. My old job really-- it was a time. I wasn't in a good place mentally and emotionally. It was you and Emi (the other Emi who is on heartsglass now) who were the reasons I stuck around the 2nd time I got REAL CLOSE to quitting RPC. It may not seem like much, but I always appreciated the fact that you both would follow me, like my OOC posts and sometimes leave replies.

It may seem like such a small and simple thing, but a lot of my OOC posts go unseen. It was quite often that I wouldn't get any likes on my OOC posts or replies. It was exceedingly rare for me to even get asks for memes. I don't think i've mentioned it really but that's the other reason why I don't like memes. Aside from the fact I have trauma associated with the inbox that i'm healing from, I have the mindset of 'no one is going to send in because I write boring responses lol why do I bother reblogging memes lolololol'

But you especially would surprise me by sheer coincidence on the days I was feeling down with a like, a reply, or a meme ask. Emi was the same. By sheer coincidence you both would be a notification on the days I'd think 'maybe I should delete because no one will notice when i'm gone'.

I've never admitted it to you both, but you both are the reasons why I stuck it through during the pandemic years when I was struggling so hard mentally. It's the small stuff that can mean the world to someone.

So whenever I'm in your replies saying that I care for you, love you, and just in general love seeing you on the dash-- EVER, I truly mean it. You're existence made a big impact on this blog by the sheer principle that you helped me have hope that I can exist on this platform and be appreciated.

This is probably the reason why I'm so attached to both Luca and Emi, because idk... I just feel like both of those OCs mean a lot to the both of you and so I just instinctively latched on. Like I imprint the love I have for the both of you onto those muses AHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAH. I'm being real sappy.

So you know, TLDR: Thank you for existing. Without your existence, I wouldn't be on tumblr today. Anyone who enjoys writing with me now has you and Emi to thank for me not quitting during the pandemic years.

What I want most is retcons. The series loves to retcon MAJOR shit, after all. Jinpachji, for example, was clearly meant to have the devil gene.

As Heihachi even says he has Devil's blood. So it seems like originally, the Mishima line was gonna have the devil gene (with Heihachi being the ""unlucky"" one for some reason) but this was retconned for the Hachijo clan instead in Tek7. (Just how Tek7 also retconned other things concerning Heihachi's foundership of the Zaibatsu, as well as some Lee retcons). HELL. According to Alisa's Tek8 bio, they're already throwing out retcons. Now Alisa was apparently repaired by her father after her shutdown, and not Lee. I don't think her bio mentions anything about Lee, which is bizarre. Although technically not a retcon, it's clear that Claudio was supposed to have evil intentions with Xiao, but according to his Tek8 bio, they immediately backed out of that and now he's a good guy. Angel hasn't even been canonically mentioned since Tek2 I don't think, so she's likely been retconned out of existence unless Tek8 brings her up again.

So my point is... if Tek can do all these retcons... then the most obvious choice to get Jin to be a good guy as well as worthy of redemption is by retconning Tek6. Despite Jin's motives being a big part of the story, it's easier than it seems. Literally just go with either of my ideas: Jin was either completely taken over by Devil Jin who pretended to be Jin. As this was seen possible in Tek7... as clearly when Kazumi confronted Heihachi to kill him, it was actually Devil Kazumi despite not being in devil form. Some people try to say it was Kazumi and she can just control her devil - but I disagree. Why was she fainting and getting sick so often? That's because she was fighting against her devil - her devil wanted to kill Heihachi, but she didn't. In the end, her devil won. So, we can say the same thing happened with Jin and his Devil. Jin didn't want Devil to take over, therefore he joined the 5th tournament to find a way to get rid of Devil (which is practically canon) but in the end, Devil won. But since Jin wasn't killed like Kazumi, Jin was able to regain control eventually.

Or second possible retcon: Jin was brainwashed by Azazel. If Azazel can telepathically communicate with Jin, who's to say it can't do more? Azazel has a lot of bullshit powers, anyway. And of course, Azazel would want Jin to carry out this war in order to wake up from the prison humans put it in. But by making either Devil or Azazel in control, it does make Jin redeemable because he was in no control of his actions, nor did he actually start the war, and in a way, can even be seen as a victim as well. You can explain his guilt by saying... well, how is he not gonna feel guilty even if it's not his fault? Jin will feel guilty because he wasn't strong enough to fight back Azazel (or DJ) taking control, therefore his weakness is what lead to devastation. And either way, his body was used without his permission; somebody used his hands to slaughter many. He can't help but feel guilty about that. These retcons would also explain the sudden personality change in Jin. It will also explain why Lars is now friendlier with Jin. Because Lars understands what it's like when something takes control of you and makes you do something you'd never consciously do, he watched it happen to Alisa. Lars now understands, and sees Jin as a victim just as Alisa was.

Unfortunately, Tek writers are weird and it doesn't seem like they're gonna go with the obvious Retcons, but instead just go with Jin saying "I'm sowwy" and that's gonna be enough. Since the game isn't out yet, we don't know that for sure... but just from the looks of the very little content we've gotten so far...

Athena- I wanna split the SY persona and the SQQ persona he adopted after transmigrating in the books to make two separate characters here. So SY is still Penelope, but Shen Qingqiu can take on the mentor role to Luo Binghe. This fits in well with SQQ’s relationship to ZZL and the fact that SQQ is willing to go so far in God Games to help Luo Binghe.

Aeolus- either Sha Hualing or Meng Mo

Poseidon- Shen Jiu

Circe- Liu Mingyan, and the other nymphs could be the other disciples of her peak from the book.

So, with the Thunder Saga having released recently it’s been on my mind a lot. I also have Scum Villain Self Saving System on my mind often in general, so this inevitably lead to me thinking about them both. And I had the thought that LBH would probably relate to Odysseus in Epic the Musical. Going through a hellish place while obsessed with getting to see a loved one again? And becoming more ruthless during the journey? That could be the LBH in Endless Abyss or Ody in the Sea of Monsters!

So THAT got me thinking about what svsss characters would play various Epic the Musical characters if the was an Epic AU of svsss. Here’s what I have so far:

Odysseus- Lou Binghe

Penelope- Shen Yuan

Not sure who their kid would be. Unlike in mdzs or tgcf, the main couple never gets a kid they feel at all parental towards. Well, maybe the disciples in general, but that would only count for SY.

Polites- Ning Yingying

Eurylochus- Ming Fan

Cyclops- Elder Sky hammer maybe?

Athena- Qi Qingqi

Aeolus- Liu Mingyan maybe?

Poseidon- Shen Jiu

Circe- Sha Hauling

Hermes- feel like it should be a peak lord but not sure which one. SQH maybe?

Does Scylla need a person to play her? Or does she get to just be Scylla?

The only one I really can’t decide on is Zeus. Palace Master has a similar attitude toward women but I can’t really picture him as Zeus. Other peak lords don’t really fit either. It would be funny if Pei Ming made a surprise appearance as him though! XD

So like basically Xiao Ming found out that he's actually the reincarnated version of Izanagi, the god that Juqla and Kain worshipped (well, used to worship, until Kain started the whole "LeT's gO FiGhT gOds!" shit).

So anyway he got back all his memories of being Izanagi after touching the random teardrop-shaped blood thingy, and remembered like everything. Just a full summary of everything he remembered:

•Why Izanagi died (cos he got reincarnated): apparently he tried handling the corruption himself but cos his body wasn't meant to handle it like Kain and Juqla were, like the little pussy he was he went mad and killed himself. L bozo-

•And then the true reason why Turbidi (plural form of Turbidus) exist: they were like some sort of mutation causes by the last unresolved residue that Juqla and Kain and Izanagi just sorta forgot about and then it infected someone and then they had kids and then their kids had kids and it eventually became sort of like a recessive gene or something idk I don't take bio (yet)

•Also it turns out Izanagi was a terrible cook but loved to cook and Juqla and Kain would be forced to eat the burnt shit he makes (sorta like Freya but idk)

So yeah. Xiao Ming's whole "godly identity" and whatnot finally revealed. Omg! Top ten anime reveals!

Also it turns out that he has even more to flex now because he's like on a completely different level than the normal gods, like the normal gods are just normal gods, but he is what Kain called as an

Exuvia.

So anyway Exuvias are something like the creator gods of the universe, multiverse and everything and anything beyond it. They are like the highest and most powerful forms of beings in existence, to ever exist, and shall ever exist. Wah sibeh good flex sia.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah anyway it's like time for the next adventure (cos now that Xiao Ming is supposed to be like the god of all gods of their world he really donwan to go back to school again so he have to make up some excuse not to be able to go.

Before he died, Kain said that there were two other worlds just like theirs, and that if he explored these other worlds he can find a cure for Juqla and learn more about the Exuvias as well.

Also it turns out that when he absorbed the teardrop-shaped blood thingy right, he also gained back all of Izanagi's godly Exuvian powers.

And that means he can open portals, teleport, steal the entire school's abilities, etc etc.

So of course the first thing he did is to open a portal to go to the next world.

Then Ma Xiao Tiao and Rainslasher said some shit: "Yo wait guys I'm coming with ya'll, Kain is no use to me anymore now that he's dead anyway,"

Well fine. The godly god of all chads and gigachads and also Rainslasher can come I guess.

...You know, I think a lot of the problem is how the fandom treats characters, thus making other people dislike the characters despite the fact that their canonical portrayals are fine. Like, you may not have liked them but didn't care enough to dislike until the stans started lionizing them beyond reason or whatever. Or it's the stans of said characters being awful. Or both. Probably both. And I get it, I really do. It's irrational, but we're not Vulcans here, y'know? No one has EVERYTHING figured out. Anyways the point is fandoms are awful on large doses, the RWBY fandom especially. The RWBY fandom would be an interesting case study if it wasn't so damn infuriating.

✉️ heizou — 4th year criminology major. an unhealthily laid-back flirt who doesn’t actually seem to show romantic interest in anyone. despite this, he always seems to try harder to put greater effort in misleading y/n with his sly tricks…although he doesn’t do it as often, in comparison to others. has seriously dated a small number of girls in an awful contrast to his teasing demeanor, and thus surprisingly seems to have the best advice when it comes to romance and relationships. oddly enough, when y/n approaches him for further guidance on potentially decent guys and whether to attempt on dating somebody else after a long while, heizou often appears to lose some semblance of his composure and reluctantly tends to go against the proposed idea of it.

✉️ diluc — 4th year civil engineering major. roommates with ayato, and the (involuntary) face of model students in teyvat university despite not being a student council officer. funnily enough, his friends perceive him to be one of those bizarre and ‘out-of-this-world’ individuals who actually enjoy studying simply for the fun of it. however, similar to albedo, he is often bombarded with too many pleas for homework guidance, and therefore regularly finds himself blandly turning all those people down. he works part-time as a barista in a nearby boba cafe, and ever since then, its popularity has increased tenfold from the surging mob of female customers — desperately clamoring around the small shop to witness the enigmatic and charming man working behind the counter. but since y/n and her friends solely come to visit for the company, he always offers each of them reasonable discounts for every drink.

✉️ scaramouche — 4th year physics major. another infuriatingly intelligent student. surprise surprise, y/n always hated to admit it, but she secretly had the tiniest crush on him in the middle of junior year (why y/n seems to be more attracted to physics majors, nobody really knows). xiao was the one who indirectly introduced her to the aggressive boy and, at present, she tends to gravitate towards the latter for problem-solving assistance in lieu of the former. perhaps that was why she ended up liking him, despite his initial air of hostility, for a brief period of time.

✉️ ayato — 4th year business admin major. similar to ayaka, y/n’s known him since high-school from being neighbors. refuses to admit that he is slightly overprotective of both her and ayaka, despite only being a year older (which explains why he doesn’t fuss much over her other friends, who are at the same age as him). he is currently an officer in the university’s volunteer organization, and works side by side with some of y/n’s friends in doing social services. because of this, the number of incoming female (and sporadically, even male) applicants every year greatly skyrocket in quantity, due to the appealing verity of an attractive face participating a charitable academic extracurricular.
