This picture was so relaxing, and I loved drawing, coloring, and rendering it! I tried something a little new, this time; I colored xem on paper but rendered xer effects on Ibis Paint. I think xe looks great!

Whumptober Day 2: Overworked, insomnia

Caretaker tossed in xyr bed. It had been three weeks since Whumpee had gone missing, and xe was at a loss for what to do. Xe had launched xyr own investigation. It wasn't going very far. Whumpee didn't have any enemies that xe knew of, and from the reports xe had read, the few local gangs didn't tend towards kidnapping. The only lead xe had was a series of emails. Caretaker had used xyr spare key to get in the day after Whumpee went missing, and searched the place to no avail. Xe had logged into the computer (Whumpee never bothered to change his passwords, and never noticed if someone were looking over his shoulder while he typed it in) and the only programs open were some RPG game Caretaker had never heard of, and Whumpee's email. In the days leading up to his disappearance, Whumpee had received multiple emails from the same company about an interview and potential job. The company was a fairly successful startup, led by a low-profile, quiet kind of life rich guy. The latest email Whumpee had received was from the day before he went missing. It read, "I'll call you about the interview. Let's not leave a long paper trail." This caught Caretaker's attention, and xe tried to gather as much information as xe could about the company. There wasn't much. Caretaker couldn't even find the legal name of the company owner, as well as what the company was even for. When xe wasn't at work, xe was playing detective, and xe was getting more and more frustrated and burnt out. Caretaker hadn't been able to sleep with xyr friend missing, and tonight xe didn't try to fight the insomnia. Xe got out of bed and strengthed xyr resolve. Xe was going to find Whumpee, no matter the cost.
