my bf and i haven’t been fully hyperfixated on the same new thing at the same time to this extent in years, so bg3 has been really exciting and there’s been a lot of bonding. i wouldn’t trade that for the world. but the problem is, like. we have one ps5. and no gaming pc.

worst thing abt da2 and origins on my computer is that i can’t use my controller with them :/

#like i forget when i'm not playing games how much being able to use a controller on the ones i put on my computer impacts whether i'll buy #i limit my purchases to twice a year (early summer for my birthday + christmas)#and if i can't play w a controller on my computer that's such a bummer #but i already love the da series and i played them originally on the xbox 360 #also that reminds me of how i originally played skyrim on the 360 too #and every once in a while it would just freeze #we have some space on the xbox one if i can't use a controller (usually older games)#but i'm not there for half the year and then i'm very likely moving to the other side of the country in three years #although. i could probably just take the xbox one with me #and my parents could probably get a new console if my brother has any games he wants #hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm #rambling #anyways! i've been playing black flag and i have to let my computer sit for a little while #before i boot up da2 #bc it gets so hot that i don't wanna use the keyboard skdjhfks
