What happend to your VLR play-though? just curious...
Nate and I shelved it, since it seemed like no one was all that interested in watching the playthrough. We’ll likely go back and play it ourselves at some point, maybe make a YT series of it, but Zero Escape just doesn’t really seem to work as a stream.

Who should Kaname target?
Okay so if you’re following @jinjojess‘s Exile Election playthrough, you know that the protagonist Kaname Ichijou is trying to kill off all his classmates in a revenge scheme.
This is an examination of who, based off of the current information available, Kaname should target and in what order for the smoothest path to achieving his goal.
This isn’t a prediction of what will happen (in fact I doubt this will be right even up to the first round) as much as it is more of an analysis of the characters and their current group structure.
Here are the groups as they are now, each column represents a stable group for everything to go smoothly, Kaname either needs to destabilize these groups or win the favor of existing groups to keep surviving and knock out his target.
Round 1: Issei Ninchouji
Knocking out Issei first is the most important priority for Round 1. At this point the older members of the cast have yet to organize but as Kaname has pointed out, Issei is clearly interested in forming a group between the three of them. By knocking out, Kaname leaves Yurizono and Izuki as individual agents. Managing Issei’s exile shouldn’t be too hard, most of Team Himeno (Yuri, Miori, Michimune) already trust Team Kamane and although they show hesitation voting, I imagine ALICE will force them to participate. Similarly, while the Twins have shown animosity towards Team Kaname, they also default to Hakushu who seems willing to work with Kaname.
Round 2: Hakushuu Isumi (and the Twins?)
As previously mentioned, the Twins default to Hakushuu, so taking him out of the equation could very well result in them leaving with them, if not they’d very likely single-mindedly target Kaname for getting rid of him and possibly even resort to violence which would get them executed regardless. In either case, Team Kaname could attempt to continue cash in on their ‘bond’ with Team Himeno to get rid of the unhinged Twins if they don’t force themselves out of the game.
Round 3: Preface
While the cooperation with Team Himeno has been valuable, at this point in time, they are more valuable separated than together to get them apart though, you’ll have to get at least one of the independents to vote with you.
This round has two outcomes which lead into two branching paths, depending on how well the independents cooperate with Team Kaname: Round 3A (the independents cooperate and pool votes) and Round 3B (the independents do not cooperate and refuse to vote with Team Kaname).
Round 3A: Yuri Himeno
You might think it’s weird to target the person who’s probably the meekest of Team Himeno, but Yuri is the most stabilizing member of the team. His character description calls him the brains of the group and by Miori’s own admission, Michimune is Yuri’s friend and someone she herself is barely familiar with. The two have already had minor friction and although they’d probably be able to work together to an extent, removing Yuri from the equation definitely makes their ability to vote together questionable.
Round 3B: Izuki Ayara
Unfortunately, in order to maintain the illusion that they’re still working together, there needs to be someone to act as a scapegoat and Izuki clinging to a persona of someone who’s dangerous, he’s pretty much the perfect one.
Round 4: Preface
Round 4 is the most dangerous round for Team Kaname regardless of either outcome. While 4B is inherently more dangerous than 4A as Team Himeno is still in tact, 4A still could have all Independents grouping together to take down the only remaining team.
Round 4A: Michimune Isurugi
While Team Kaname is working with the Independents, the best option is to ensure that Miori and Michmune can’t regroup and continue to vote together despite their group being weakened. Michimune is the obvious choice as to who to vote off as he is the more steadfast and distant between the two. Their best bet at doing this is probably reminding Izuki that Team Himeno tried to vote him off last round and possibly baiting him into a fight with Michimune, although an attempt at trying to appease Yurizono would not be ill-advised.
Team 4B: Yuri Himeno
Yeah this is essentially a repeat of Round 3A only this time, Team Kaname can pressure Yurizono further as she is the last remaining independent. Of course, Team Himeno can do the same. Ultimately, this is the worst possible round as it most likely will completely depend on who Yurizono chooses unless Team Himeno can’t come to a conclusion.
Round 5: Izuki Ayara/Michimune Isurugi
Assuming that Team Kaname can get through either Round 4 unscathed, they’ll be put into a position of power as not only the only only remaining Team, but half the entire vote, which essentially means that all the independents need to vote together just to tie with their vote. Given this, at the end of both Round 4s, there’s always one upstart left among the cast either Izuki or Michimune, regardless of which route they’re in, the best choice is to root them out and leave the quieter and level headed members of the cast for what is essentially Team Kaname’s victory lap.
Round 6: Miori Himeno
Since you’ve basically killed off her friends and family, it’s quite possible that Miori is vengeful against you, while she’s basically powerless to do anything against you, it’s better that you send her on her way. Yurizono will probably more than happily vote with you since it means extending her own life some.
Round 7: Shihori Yurizono
Now everyone is dead! Yaaaaaaay! You win!!

Starting a new game this week: Furquest!
Furquest is what I think of as an "Undertale-like"; it's got quirky, fourth-wall breaking humor, a second-person narrator, goofy but earnest characters, and fun, simple pixel art over RPG mechanics (including Warioware-style microgames taking the place of combat).
I've played the demo and now that the full game is out, let's jump into it!

Delay for the Final Furquest Episode!
Hey everybody!
I'm almost to the end of Furquest (I think) so I'm going to postpone the episode until I have a chance to record everything up to the very end and then I'll release it as a single super finale.
Thanks for your patience!
