The group had gathered in Xavier’s office, the tension almost tangible as Charles laid out the plans to rescue a group of captured mutant children. You stood alongside Scott and Storm, your eyes fixed on Xavier as he spoke, but the weight of Logan’s presence near the doorway was impossible to ignore. Even without looking, you could feel him—his silent, brooding energy radiating from the corner of the room, drawing your attention no matter how much you tried to focus.

Your heart tightened at the thought of him, but you forced yourself to stay focused, eyes ahead. There was too much at stake, too many lives on the line for you to let personal feelings cloud your judgment. Still, the awareness of Logan lingered in the back of your mind, pulling at your attention like a constant, steady pulse.

As Charles continued speaking, outlining the rescue strategy, you felt Logan’s gaze flicker across the room. Instinctively, you glanced over, catching his eyes for just a brief second before you quickly looked away. His eyes held something unreadable—something you had seen so many times but could never fully decipher.

You weren’t sure what had changed between the two of you over the past few months. It wasn’t like you had spent much time together, and yet, the air between you always seemed charged with an unspoken tension, something unacknowledged but undeniably real. You hated that it lingered now, distracting you when you needed to be focused.

“Logan,” Charles said suddenly, pulling your attention back to the present. “Your tracking skills will be essential for locating the children once we’re in the field.”

Logan straightened slightly at the mention of his name, his jaw tightening as he gave a short nod. “Yeah, I got it,” he muttered, though there was a gruffness in his voice like he wasn’t entirely sure where he fit in this plan.

Scott, ever the leader, turned toward Logan with his usual no-nonsense demeanor. “We don’t have time for personal conflicts. We work together on this—everyone’s lives depend on it.”

Logan’s eyes narrowed slightly at Scott, but he gave no response. The tension between the two was palpable, but Logan wasn’t about to pick a fight, not now. He just gave a curt nod, his focus turning back to Charles.

You couldn’t help but steal another glance in Logan’s direction, watching the way he squared his shoulders as if he was trying to brush off the weight of everyone’s eyes on him. You could see the tension there, the way his fists clenched at his sides, the way he seemed just a little more isolated than the rest of the group.

There was always something about Logan that felt... distant like he carried the world on his shoulders but never let anyone close enough to share the burden. He didn’t let people in. Not really. Except—except with you, there were those moments. Fleeting, unspoken, but moments where the wall between you seemed thinner, more fragile.

Charles’s voice brought your focus back again. “Trust is earned, Logan,” he said gently, his tone calm but firm. “But this mission is about more than trust. It’s about doing what’s right. We need you.”

Logan’s eyes flicked briefly to Charles before settling back on the ground. He was quiet for a moment, as if considering his options, weighing his place in all of this. Finally, he gave a sharp nod. “Fine. Let’s get it done.”

The group dispersed after that, heading toward the jet. You followed along in silence, your thoughts heavy with the weight of what was coming. It wasn’t until you were aboard the jet, sitting quietly in one of the seats near the back, that you noticed Logan fidgeting across from you, tugging at the collar of his black leather suit.

He grumbled under his breath, pulling at the stiff fabric as it pressed uncomfortably against his neck. The tension in his body hadn’t eased, and his frustration was palpable. You watched him for a moment, biting your lip to hold back a smile. Even Logan, with all his bravado and unshakable attitude, could be undone by something as simple as an uncomfortable suit.

“Having trouble?” you asked, your voice soft but teasing.

Logan shot you a sideways glance, his brow furrowing. “This damn suit’s choking me,” he muttered, still pulling at the collar like it was a noose around his neck. “How do you wear this thing?”

You chuckled softly, the sound surprising even you. In the midst of the tension and the stakes of the mission, here was Logan, fighting his uniform like it was his worst enemy. “You get used to it,” you replied, leaning back in your seat. “Just part of the job.”

Logan huffed, clearly unconvinced. “Yeah, well, not sure I’ll be wearing this long enough to get used to it.”

A smile tugged at your lips, and before you could stop yourself, you leaned forward slightly. “Here, let me fix it.”

You reached over, your fingers brushing against his neck as you gently tugged at the collar of his suit, loosening the tight material. Logan tensed at the contact, his muscles tightening under your touch, but he didn’t pull away. He just watched you, his eyes softening ever so slightly as you worked to make him more comfortable.

“There,” you said after a moment, your fingers lingering a bit longer than necessary before you pulled back. “That should be better.”

Logan blinked, reaching up to touch the collar, his expression caught somewhere between surprise and... something else. “Thanks,” he muttered, his voice a little quieter now, almost unsure.

You smiled, settling back into your seat. “Don’t mention it. Can’t have you grumbling through the entire mission.”

Logan grunted in response, but there was something lighter in his tone now, a shift in the atmosphere between you. You could still feel the tension—the uncertainty of the mission, the weight of everything unsaid between you—but for a moment, it felt manageable.

The jet engines hummed as the team prepared for takeoff, and you glanced over at Logan one last time. He was still fidgeting with the suit, but now his movements were slower, less agitated. His eyes met yours, and for a second, you thought you saw something soften in his expression. Something unguarded, if only for a fleeting moment.

“You’re going to make a good teammate, you know that?” you said, the words slipping out before you could stop them.

Logan raised an eyebrow, his lips twitching into a smirk. “Is that so?”

“Yeah,” you replied, your tone light but sincere. “For a guy who’s constantly acting like he doesn’t need anyone... you’re not so bad.”

He chuckled, the sound low and rough but not unkind. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”

You smiled, leaning back in your seat as the jet lifted into the sky. “You should.”

For the first time in a long while, the silence that followed didn’t feel so heavy. It felt... easy. Comfortable. Like maybe there was room for something more between the two of you. Something real. Something unspoken but understood.

Logan leaned back, his hand resting idly against the loosened collar, and let out a long breath, his eyes closing briefly as he settled into the quiet feeling lighter.

A soft chuckle filtered through your phone speaker. 

“I’m sorry for calling you so late…”

“Joon, that’s completely fine, You know I stay up late anyways…”

You hear a sigh before he begins to talk again.

“Baby.?”

“Yeah?”

“You still live in (city name), right?”

“Yea, why do you ask?” You asked, curiosity/excitement lacing your tone. Your boyfriend chuckles at you, “Well, we’ll finally be able to meet!” You gasped in excitement, nearly falling off your bed.

You and your boyfriend, Joon, had been dating for about 2 years now, and yes it was a long distance relationship.

The two of you had met online through your art twitter. You did a lot of fanart of your favorite kpop group, Ateez, as well as tattoo ideas. The tattoo designs are what introduced you to your loving boyfriend.

He replied under one of your posts, interested in commissioning a design and it has been you and him against the world ever since. 

Yes, you don’t know how he looks, and he may have various different pictures of you, but you put all your trust in him and you highly doubted he was a catfish.

He always showered you with gifts, and always called you when he got the time to. He rarely showed his face, but you saw his desk and his work area.

You believed he was real and you were excited at the prospect of finally being able to meet him.

“I can tell you’re excited…” Joon started, “I am too..I can’t wait to hold you…” You felt your face heat up as you heard him mumble something in Korean under his breath. 

“What was that?”

“I said I can’t wait to hold you and have you whimpering underneath me, Jagi..”

You squealed in embarrassment as you slammed your phone on the bed. You heard him laughing at you before calling your name.

The two of you sat in silence for a little while after that, nothing but the soft clicking of your boyfriend's laptop coming through the speakers. He finally spoke up again with a little chuckle.

“Well…I bought you a concert ticket…” 

“Joon!”

“What? I thought it was a good idea since we both like concerts~!”

You only hummed in response, not having the time to argue with him tonight, your phone pinged and you sighed.

“I’ll see you in two days!”

“See you~”

Your phone hung up and you went to check your Ticketmaster account, your eyes widened,

“Don’t you think you’re being used..’

You groaned at your friend. “F/n. I don’t think a catfish would drop the money for this ticket like that. It was expensive.”

“So!? Maybe he’ll try to use a little money to kidnap you!”

You grew frustrated as you did your makeup. You had told F/n about what had happened and to make sure you were safe, she was coming along.

F/n was never supportive of your relationship, always judging you for ‘wasting’ your time on a dude that you are only just now meeting. But you also couldn’t blame her, girls did go missing when meeting their online boyfriends. But no matter how you tried to convince her, she wouldn’t listen to you. She didn’t even like Ateez! So she was basically wasting her money.

“What if he’s lying to you about his identity-”

“That’s enough, F/n!!” You yelled at her, finally snapping from the constant negative comments. “If you wanna come then come. But if you’re not going to shut the fuck up already!” 

F/n stared at you in shock. “How dare you? I’m trying to keep you from getting catfished!!” She yelled back and you rolled your eyes pushing past her, grabbing your bag. 

You got your keys and looked at her, “Find your own ride to the damn concert. Don’t bother being around me.” You said leaving her behind.

You were actually surprised she even still came to the concert. You glared at her and she gave you an apologetic look when she caught up to you. 

When you walked into (venue name), you beamed with excitement. Not only were you going to finally meet your boyfriend, you got to see your all time favorite kpop group!

It was refreshing to be around fellow Atiny, you chatted with several around you in the pit. You ended up getting real close from you leaving early. Your blood was pumping through your body when the lights finally dimmed. You screamed as you watched as the members of Ateez came onto the stage.

It felt unreal, it didn’t feel real at all. You couldn’t believe that you were finally here. A couple of songs had gone by when you finally found the time to let your boyfriend know where you were. But you were shocked to see a message from him around 2 years ago that simply said;

“Look at the stage.”

When you looked back up, you locked eyes with Kim Hongjoong, the leader of Ateez, your bias, your Ult bias to be exact. His eyes were locked on you as he introduced himself to the crowd. Your brain froze. 

When he spoke, his voice sounded familiar, and not just from you listening to music. No it was like you knew him on a personal level.

“F/n…” You said, capturing your friends' attention, concerned at your tone. “What’s wrong? Is it that boy?” She asked.

You looked back up to the stage, watching as Ateez prepared for their next set of songs.

“I think my boyfriend is the leader of Ateez..”

“...You mean as a joke right…?”

“....”

It was after the concert, and you were instructed by your boyfriend to meet him afterwards backstage. All you had to do was tell the security your name and they led you to where you were now.

F/n was very skeptical and was weary about leaving you alone, but after a while of convincing she finally left, making sure she had you added on Life360 just in case.

You stood there waiting, watching as various staff members worked around you. You were starting to think that he wasn’t going to come at all.

You looked down at your phone and sighed, turning to leave.

“Baby!” 

You whip around to find the owner of the voice, and lo and behold it was Kim Hongjoong. He was now dressed comfortably, makeup gone and a soft blush on his face with a lazy smile.

You smile wide and run up to him, nearly tackling him to the ground with a hug. He laughs and wraps his arms around you, holding you tightly as if you were going to vanish if he let go.

When he did let go, he pulled away a bit to place a kiss on your lips. You melted into his grasp only pulling away when you needed air from the male. 

The two of you looked at each other for a while. One half of you wanted to fight him for lying to you, but you knew he had his reasons, but the other was so happy that he was real and that he was not only your idol, but your lover.

“Hongjoongie…” You mumbled, hiding your face in his chest.

He chuckled as he held you close to him, “It’s so nice to hear you say my name…” He replied, finally pulling away.

When he did, he held your hands and swung them back and forth. He looked like a lovesick puppy, his eyes filled with love and adoration.

“Do you have anywhere else to go?...” 

“No not really…”

“Well…could you maybe come back with me?”

You giggle at his bashfulness, nodding. “Of course, You have a lot of explaining to do..”

Hongjoong smiles before pulling you along with him.

Hongjoong paid for your visit to his hotel room, not leaving until he made sure you were safely on your way.

When you got there, you finally got to meet the other members, it was surreal for you. Just yesterday you were catching up on missed content, laughing as you watched Ateez go about their antics. Now you are meeting them and apparently dating their leader.

To say you were nervous would be an understatement, you were nearly shitting bricks. 

But it actually went over well, Hongjoong introduced you to them one by one. You happily introduced yourself, shaking their hands until you got to Wooyoung, who had a smug grin.

“You’re really pretty. No wonder cap-” He was cut off by Hongjoong flinging something at him. You giggled at this as the rest of the evening with the boys went fine. It was spent with you explaining how you met Hongjoong, talking about how much you loved their music and how you really appreciated how nice they were being to him.

Later on, Hongjoong led you to his room, which you tilted your head at.

“I thought you guys shared rooms when you went on tour?”

“We do, the guys wanted to give us privacy though..”

You felt your face heat up as you walked over and flopped on the bed. Hongjoong then joined you, leaning his head on your stomach.

The two of you sat in silence for a while, basking in the silence before he spoke up.

“I’m sorry…” He started, moving to sit up, you moved to sit up at the head board. 

“Hon-”

“I’m sorry for not telling you who I was y/n…I was scared…” He admits and it hurt your heart with how he avoided eye contact. He sighed before finally turning to you.

“When I found out you were an Atiny..I got scared. I thought you were only gonna like me because of who I am on stage…” You watched him carefully as he continued. 

“I thought you weren’t gonna love me for me…So I hid it. It’s why I rarely showed my face when we talked. But when I saw your face…” Hongjoong reached over to cup your cheek, eyes misty. You felt your own tears welling up in your eyes, threatening to fall.

“Hongjoong…” You started moving closer to the male, your faces barely touching. “I’m in love with you…all of you…the Idol you and the normal you. Yes I may be an Atiny, but I love you. Not your career.” You say softly leaning on him. 

“I was worried…that you wouldn’t like me once you met me. That you would���ve thought I was a weirdo or that-mmph!” Your rant was cut off by Hongjoong kissing you, he pulled you into his arms, your eyes widened as he silenced you. They eventually fluttered closed as he deepened the kiss, only pulling away to hide his face in the crook of your neck.

“You’re always loved by me…I trust you y/n..”

A small smile ghosted across your features as the two of you stayed that way for a while.

You felt at peace knowing that you could now love both forms of him..

It was late on that Tuesday night. Past 10 p.m. Alexia and I were going over the final preparations for Thursday’s event. Many guests had confirmed, much to our delight. We were expecting over 200 people, which meant we’d need to reorganize the office for the evening.  

The only downside, on Alexia's end, was that the Mayor hadn't confirmed her attendance. At least, it was assumed she wouldn't be coming, as she hadn't deigned to reply to my message, simply sending an email to schedule a Friday meeting at the construction site, saying she wasn’t available before then. Not a word about the invitation. This didn’t bother me. Her presence always made me uneasy, and I didn’t like that feeling.

At 10:40 p.m., my phone buzzed. A new notification. An email.

"Good evening, 

I’ll be attending your event on Thursday, accompanied, at 8 p.m. I won’t stay long.

Lucy."

Stunned, I read the email several times. That curt tone—there was no mistaking it, it was classic Lucy. Alexia looked at me in surprise and asked what was going on.

"The dragon is coming. Tomorrow at 8 p.m.!"

Alexia shrieked and jumped into my arms.

“You’re the best! We’ll call the press tomorrow!”

“I don’t think she’s coming because of me! She’s bringing someone … but who?”

"Her husband!"

I had forgotten she was married. I had never met her husband, and she had never mentioned him.

"Alexia, there’s a problem. Philou is very likely to be there, and she doesn’t know. I might need to let her know…"

Philippe was the opposition leader from the last rather heated election. To say they didn’t get along was an understatement.

"No, no, no! Just tell her we’re expecting her! They’re adults! And with so many people there, they don’t have to cross paths. Everything will be fine!"

I didn’t quite share her optimism.  

I sat down at my keyboard.

Thursday, 8:30 p.m., the party was in full swing. I wore a black dress for the occasion, both classy and sexy, hugging my curves. My long blonde hair was up, and I wore high heels, which was rare for me.  

The guests moved between the cocktail bar and the hors d’oeuvres. A band, friends of Alexia’s, was playing. We had completely rearranged the space, with an exhibition of our work from the past year, along with paintings by local artists. The effect was fabulous. The evening was starting perfectly, and I moved from guest to guest, smiling as the alcohol began to flow through my veins. Alexia was nearby, looking a bit tense, her eyes darting toward the entrance, watching for the Mayor, who still hadn’t arrived. Would she come? The thought barely crossed my mind.

Suddenly, the chatter died down, and heads turned toward the large entrance door. Lucy had just entered, accompanied by a tall, gray-haired man—her husband, presumably.  

She looked stunning, in a royal blue dress that fit her perfectly. She didn’t look 42 at all. I was captivated, taking in the curves of her body, her lips, her gaze… She radiated. She greeted many people with a broad smile, shook plenty of hands, then made her way toward us, still wearing that rare smile when she looked at me.

“Good evening! Thank you for the invitation! May I introduce my husband, Paul.”

Tall, commanding, he greeted us politely.

“Good evening, Madame Bronze,” Alexia said eagerly, as usual, going a bit overboard. “And this is my partner…”

“And the mother of your future child, I presume?” she teased, laughing. So, the dragon had a sense of humor. “Congratulations, by the way.”

Then she turned to me, her piercing blue eyes holding mine.

“Good evening. So, uh… This is my friend, Alessia is…”

“A surgeon?” she cut in instantly, with a mischievous look that only I noticed.

We took some photos for the press, and as the conversation turned to the hospital expansion, I stepped away from the group.

I needed to catch my breath, to clear my head. Her arrival, her gaze—I knew now. I desired her as much as I couldn’t stand her. It was a raw, physical desire. I had to regain control of myself; I didn’t like the effect she had on me. Calm down, Ona, calm down.

I went to chat with a few guests, then moved to the music area and began to dance. Alessia joined me, and soon, we were kissing. The alcohol was rushing through my veins, I was euphoric.

At 11 p.m., the guests started leaving, one by one. I hadn’t seen Lucy again; she must have left much earlier. My head was spinning from the alcohol. I decided to go outside to the large terrace for a cigarette.

I lit my cigarette when I was surprised by a voice.

“You smoke?”

It was Lucy.  

“You smoke?” I replied, noticing the cigarette between her fingers.

She smiled and stepped closer. Silence settled between us, which I decided to break.

“I thought you’d left long ago!”

“No, what can I say, you get caught up talking, and time flies. Plus, the cocktails are really quite good.”

Her eyes were sparkling; she must have had more than one cocktail, I thought with amusement.

“And your husband?”

“He went home. He has to take the twins early tomorrow for a school trip.”

The twins? My mind was hazy. Ah yes, Alexia had mentioned she had 16-year-old twins.

To my surprise, she asked:

“How long have you been with that Alessia?”

It was the first time she’d ever asked me something personal.

“We’re not together anymore, well, not really… We keep in touch, and…”

I was rambling, digging myself deeper. She reached for my forearm, and her touch gave me goosebumps.

“I see, I see. And have you always liked women?”

Her question caught me off guard. We had gone from talking about work to “tell me about your coming out.”

“More or less. I dated a few guys, but nothing serious. I’ve known I liked women since I was 20.”

I continued, now looking directly at her.

“And you’ve always liked men?”

I smiled broadly, meeting her intense blue gaze. I needed to calm down. The alcohol was loosening me up a bit too much.

“Well, that’s something Madame Mayor cannot disclose! Private life!”

She smiled back, holding my gaze. Neither of us wanted to look away. It was like a standoff.  

This time, I reached for her forearm, leaned a little closer, and murmured.

“Well, I guess I’ll just have to find out…”

Get a grip, Ona! You’re going too far. She looked at me, seemingly amused.

Our exchange was suddenly interrupted by a man stumbling toward us, shouting incoherently.  

I recognized him. It was Philippe, visibly drunk, a glass in hand.

“Well, The Mayor! Great to see you here!”

He staggered, completely inebriated, and I tried to push him back. Lucy’s face showed concern.

“You’re a bastard, M’am! An old hag spouting lies about me! Scum! Bitch!”

He was yelling now, and all the remaining guests had turned their attention to us. It was a nightmare.  

As Lucy tried to pull away, he threw his drink in her face and attempted to grab her arm. Covered in mojito, Lucy shot a glare at Philippe, then at me. I held Philippe back, trying to apologize to her.  

But it was too late. She had turned on her heel, striding toward the exit under Alexia’s astonished gaze, and slammed the door.

A complete disaster.

So, we all knew it was inevitable. With Rockman X's huge success and Capcom's love of proliferating sequels, Rockman X2 was a game that pretty much anyone in the 90s could have seen coming. So, it came as no surprise when Capcom finally announced the sequel was in production and would be released one year after the release of Rockman X. Utilizing a brand-new add-on chip (the Capcom Cx4) that could create 3D wireframe graphics, a plethora of new weapons and a brand-new storyline, Capcom finally released this game to fans everywhere. But how does it stand against one of the best SFC games of all time? Did it improve on an already amazing game, or does it suffer from unnecessary sequel syndrome? Read on.

As stated before, Capcom included a brand-new add-on chip that was capable of creating basic 3D objects, and were told to use it as much as possible. This chip is dubbed the Capcom Cx4. While the graphics are pretty much X's graphics with some tweaks, this is certainly not a bad thing as X had some very amazing graphics for the SFC and the new chip only enhances it. The 3D effect is done well and doesn't feel tacked on like many late SFC games, which simply had it included because 3D was new and cool at the time. Just like Rockman X, as you pick up new weapons and armor, X's sprite changes to reflect the new addition. However, unlike the first X game, the armor upgrades are much more noticeable on the sprite, and by the time you collect all four, X will look much different than when he first started. All in all, these graphics are some of the best that you'll find on the SFC.

X2 continues the darker storyline and though X's storyline was pretty straightforward from the get-go, X2's is full of twists and turns that will keep you enticed. While I won't mention any of the twists, the basic storyline takes place six months after the first X game ends. Having defeated Sigma and supposedly stopped the Maverick's genocide against humans, X returns to his former role as a Maverick Hunter and eventually becomes the leader of the group. However, he's surprised to find out that the Mavericks are still going strong and attempts to hunt them down. However, three powerful Mavericks calling themselves the "X-Hunters" rally a group of Mavericks against him and soon X finds himself fighting eight new robot masters. However, as I mentioned, the story has a few twists and turns that make it a whole lot better, and unlike X, there are actually two different storylines depending on your actions within the game. Because of this, I personally enjoyed Rockman X2's storyline much better than X1's (but X1's was still really cool, if not a bit predictable).

You'll know exactly what to expect from X2. If not, let me explain. Pretty much every game in the classic Rockman series as well as the X series features eight major bosses which you can face in any order. After each boss fights, you gain the ability to use their weapon (of which one of the other bosses has a weakness and can be beaten further with it). After beating all eight stages, you go through a mini gauntlet of four stages that ultimately leads to the final boss.

Sure, Rockman X upped the ante by adding in hidden armor pieces that give you all-new abilities or upgraded stats, hidden sub tanks (which store extra life to be used later) and hearts (which upgrade your life), and lots of little features that are cool like levels changing their environment after beating certain bosses or the bosses themselves having their attack pattern radically altered after you use a specific weapon on them. Rest assured, all these features return in Rockman X2 and there's even a new gameplay feature that truly makes this game replayable.

Rockman X2 isn't a revolutionary sequel that adds numerous unbelievable features to the game, but it sure didn't need to and what it did add makes playing it all the more fun. Honestly, I couldn't imagine how you could top Rockman X, but somehow X2 did that for me and I'd have to rank it as one of my all-time favorite games. If you have any interest in video gaming, you HAVE to get this game. The same addicting gameplay from X is improved and still, a blast, the graphics are still gorgeous, and the storyline was much improved (in my opinion) over X's. Trust me, this game is worth every penny. And while you're picking this up, get Rockman X and X3. You'll be glad you did.

back in january , seventh heaven held a press conference discussing plans for the year , during which they confirmed the debut of their new boy group. coming in the final quarter of 2024 , leaving fans to wonder and speculate about the final lineup of the group since.

the company first started recruiting trainees for the group back in 2021 , holding global auditions. however , the lineup has changed several times , with some trainees thought to be in the group debuting elsewhere and others outright being cut from the label , causing confusion for everyone following the process , especially with popular boys planet contestant zachary shin departing last month.

luckily for you , we've managed to deduce the most likely members , from sightings outside of the seventh heaven headquarters in yeouido to social media appearances , and gathered everything you need to know below!

lee eunsang was born in '99 in yeosu. he used to be a trainee at kq entertainment , training alongside the members of ateez , and left in 2020. he got into seventh heaven via audition shortly after.

while still at kq , eunsang displayed singing and dancing as his strongest skills. it's safe to assume he'll have a vocal position. since he's the oldest , it's likely that he'll end up also being the leader.

park jihoon was born in '00 in busan. he was initially signed to fnc entertainment and was sent to compete on produce x 101 by them , debuting in x1 after ranking 3rd in 2019. following that group's messy disbandment , he embarked on an unremarkable solo career starting in 2021. after two years , it was announced that he left fnc and had signed with seventh heaven.

in x1 jihoon was a lead rapper and dancer , and as a soloist , was able to display the full range of his singing abilities. he could really play any role in the group , as he's pretty much an all–rounder.

hwang minho was born in '02 and is from bucheon. he also goes by the name christian hwang. he's been modeling since he was sixteen , first making headlines in 2018 for his striking visuals while walking for ader error when he was still freelancing. seventh heaven signed him not long after , beating the many other companies that had clamored to do so.

in addition to being gorgeous , minho is a talented singer and guitarist. a demo named countdown that was recorded by him and ttyl's divya back in 2022 was leaked , along with several other unreleased songs by seventh heaven artists , last year and went viral for just how rich and strong his vocals were. he'd most likely be the main vocalist.

koo jungyu was born in '02 and is from songdo. he played ice hockey for eleven years before quitting to pursue his dreams of becoming an idol when he was eighteen. before then , he'd done some modeling and cfs in addition to competing. he signed to seventh heaven via audition in 2020.

surprisingly , jungyu is quite the dancer. in a post–game presser from 2018 , he explained that he was placed in dance classes by his parents growing up so he could sufficiently work out during the hockey off–season , and developed a passion for it. last year , he hosted the seventh heaven family winter concert alongside minho , making the two a fan–favorite pairing that people can't wait to see debut together.

and lastly , cole noh , who was born in '03. he's from california and most notably is the younger brother of honeylemon's kenzie. he'd sort of made an influencing career out of being related to her , having over 500k followers and millions of views from a series of tiktok videos he made hanging out with her and other idols in seoul in 2023.

without announcement , cole deactivated all of his social media pages and moved to seoul this june. he was studying at ucla beforehand , majoring in music , but obviously won't be returning for the fall semester this year. while we're not exactly sure what it is that he does talent–wise , we're still excited to find out!

most recently , the bunch were spotted by an eagle–eyed fan at lauryn's fanmeeting concert , clad in face masks and casual attire.

Info: From birth, Turtide are instinctually attracted to bodies of water and become quite agitated when removed from said environments.

Soaktle spend almost their entire lives at sea, only emerging on land to lay their eggs. The tentacles emerging from under its shell contain a potent venom that instantly paralyzes its prey.

Tortenta’s many tentacles contain a deadly neurotoxin. When threatened it will lash its opponent with these tentacles, injecting them with its toxins at over a thousand times per second.

Chimclove are very timid and shy, rarely interacting with other pokemon outside of its own pack. When one member is startled, the rest begin to spiral into a panicked frenzy.

Monxiety is supposedly able to see the souls of the dead, hence its constant feelings of terror and anxiety. Anyone it makes eye contact with is destined to die tragically.

Paranoiape is constantly haunted by visions of the departed. It can supposedly predict upcoming disasters by communing with these spirits.

Found in areas with a high amount of volcanic activity, Piplume are known for their brightly colored, iridescent feathers, which they seem to take great pride in having.

In ancient times, it was believed that Prinplume acted as guardians for the legendary pokemon Palkonflict due to supposed encounters with said legendary almost always happening where Prinplume lived in abundance.

In the wild, Empaimon acts as the highly respected leader of flocks of Piplume and Prinplume, which it protects at all costs.

Sheoldred, The Whispering One - CR20 Aberration

A Praetor of Phyrexia from Magic: The Gathering.

This creature was a commission.  Sheoldred is one of the five leaders of Phyrexia.  Like I said when I posted the stat block for Vorinclex earlier this week, I’m no expert in Magic: The Gathering lore, but if your idea of a cool enemy faction is if the Borg invaded Planescape and assimilated an entire dimension, check out the MTG wiki.

3.5e stats for some other Phyrexian creatures, items, effects, and so forth can be found here.

This boss creature is essentially something adjacent to a necromancer, using her artificial power to repair her allies' broken bodies and refuse to let them die, so she should typically fight alongside several minions (probably at least 4).  The combination of Sheoldred’s Touch and Transfer Life gives her an unusual way to revive her allies over and over, although it also requires that she stay in the thick of battle, so players do actually have a chance to focus-fire her down.  She can use her touch attack on herself if she’s feeling cocky, counting on her fast healing to recover afterwards, or use it as an attack of opportunity if someone is dumb enough to move adjacent to her and provoke.  She should probably be using Lunge almost every turn, even if she doesn’t attack, just for the sake of attacks of opportunity.

Swarm Shape is a good defensive ability, especially if the targets are mostly using physical attacks.  Note that a swarm uses its swarm attack as a free action, so she can do that and also cast a spell on the same turn.  Your players will not appreciate this, especially since she can usually auto-pass the checks to cast defensively.  She can’t use Sheoldred’s Touch in this form, though, and thus also can’t use Transfer Life; as a result, Swarm Shape is mostly a thing to do once she runs out of useful minions.

Separate is an emergency escape maneuver for when things go horribly wrong.  Live to fight another day.  Fighting to the death is for her underlings.

This massive being takes the form of a feminine humanoid torso emerging from a huge-mouthed, many-jointed fiend.  Her movements are spiderlike in their grace, and her body is covered with plates of oily, corroded metal.

Phyrexian Traits (Ex) Phyrexians have a +5 bonus on Fortitude saves, and a +5 bonus on saving throws versus fear, sleep, stunning, paralysis, fatigue, exhaustion, and mind-affecting spells.  They have a +4 racial bonus on Intimidate and a -4 racial penalty on Diplomacy.  These abilities are already included in Sheoldred’s statistics.

Phyrexians also have 50% fortification against critical hits and sneak attacks, and are immune to the effects of the Glistening Oil.

Praetor's Traits (Ex) Like all members of the New Phyrexia hierarchy, Sheoldred is immune to paralysis, sleep, stunning, and death effects, has resistance 20 to Acid damage, has DR 10/epic and good, and receives a +4 bonus on saves versus mind-affecting spells and abilities.  These abilities are already included in her statistics.

Poison (Ex) Bite—injury; save Fort DC 27; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d6 Str and 1d6 Dex; cure 2 consecutive saves.

Selective Greater Death Knell Aura (Sp) Sheoldred is constantly affected by a greater death knell aura spell (DC 24), except that she can choose to exclude creatures from its effect.

Separate (Ex) As a move action, Sheoldred can separate her humanoid upper body from her insectoid lower thorax and move her upper body up to 15 feet, leaving her lower thorax behind.  Her lower thorax is treated as a separate creature, but can take no actions and is considered helpless while Sheoldred is separated.  Her upper body and lower thorax each have half as many maximum hit points as her original form, and she can choose how to distribute her current and temporary hit points when she separates (including choosing to leave her lower thorax at any number of negative hit points, up to the amount needed to kill it, usually -25).  If her lower thorax is killed while she is separated, it can only be restored with a spell or effect such as regenerate.

When Sheoldred separates, any physical conditions and physical ability damage or drain affecting her are transferred to her lower thorax, while any mental conditions and mental ability damage or drain affecting her remain in her upper body.  If she is affected by any effects that are not clearly physical or mental (such as the bonuses from death knell, and many other magic effects), she can choose whether they remain in her upper body or are transferred to her lower thorax.

Sheoldred can separate even when helpless or unable to take actions, as long as the effect causing her to be helpless or unable to take actions is not mental in nature.

She can climb back into her lower thorax as a move action when adjacent to it, ending the effects of Separate.

Sheoldred’s upper body and lower thorax retains her original statistics when separated, except for the changes described above, plus the following changes:

Sheoldred’s upper body is medium-sized.  It loses its bite attack, and its natural armor is 8 points lower.  Its land speed is reduced to 30 ft., and it loses its climb speed.  Its fast healing and fast healing aura both lower to 10.

Sheoldred’s lower thorax loses its auras.  Its fast healing lowers to 10.  It cannot benefit from Sheoldred’s fast healing aura.

Sheoldred’s Touch (Su) By making a touch attack, Sheoldred can draw the life out of a living target, dealing 14d8 negative energy damage and granting herself temporary hit points equal to half that amount.  A successful Fortitude save (DC 26) halves the damage.  This attack has no effect on undead creatures or constructs.  This touch attack must be made with her humanoid limbs, which have a reach of 5 ft.; she cannot deliver it through a bite.  The save DC is Charisma-based.

Sheoldred can use this touch attack on herself, either normally as part of a full attack action, or as a swift action, and automatically succeeds on the Fortitude save to halve the damage if she does so.

Swamp Strider (Ex) Sheoldred suffers no penalty to speed or on Acrobatics or Stealth checks in bogs and undergrowth.

Swarm Shape (Su) As a standard action, Sheoldred can convert her body into a swarm of Tiny spider-like vermin.  While in this form, she gains a +12 size bonus to Dexterity, takes a -12 penalty to Strength, gains swarm traits and the swarm subtype, and gains the distraction universal monster ability (DC 27).  She loses all of her attacks but gains a swarm attack which deals 8d6 damage.  Her movement speed changes to 30 ft., with a 30 ft. climb speed.  This is a polymorph effect.  Sheoldred retains all of her extraordinary and supernatural abilities in this form, except for Sheoldred’s Touch and Separate (although she can use Separate first and then use Swarm Shape while under its effects).  She can dismiss this effect as a standard action.

Unlike a typical swarm, she is considered to be Huge in her swarm form and takes up a 15-foot space, unless she uses Swarm Shape while under the effects of Separate, in which case she becomes a typical-sized Large swarm.  Either way, she can still reshape her space like a typical swarm.

The bonuses and penalties for polymorphing a creature that is larger than medium are already included in the above effects, and do not need to be added separately (regardless of whether Sheoldred is under the effects of Separate).

Transfer Life (Su) As a move action, if Sheoldred has temporary hit points that were gained from Sheoldred’s Touch, she can sacrifice them to heal any creature except herself within 30 ft. for twice that amount, or to resurrect a dead creature within 30 ft.  A creature resurrected in this way has 1 hit point, gains 2 negative levels, and can stand up as an immediate action.  If this would cause the target’s negative levels to meet or exceed its hit dice, it cannot be resurrected in this way.

an important thing to mention is the creator (itsapmseymour on tumblr) is transitioning the series to its third iteration so we don't know much abt what has changed and only have character bios and the lore mentioned within to go off of. So I'll talk about the second iteration but note some of that will be altered in future releases (of what? I don't even know what form the series is returning in lol) but anyways

In the beginning of the universe, there was Chronoa, and Vacuo. Chaos and order. The universe appeared in the intermingling of these two forces. Chronoa created cosmic spirits (which looks like bunny slime by default but have limited shapeshifting abilities) and commanded these spirits to organize the matter of the universe into celestial bodies. When a spirit (or group of spirits, some bodies like stars or asteroid belts require multiple spirits) finish their creation, they are tasked with ensuring it functions properly and are given abilities based on their respective celestial body (this can manifest as entire schools of magic for races living on or near the body)

Now onto the actual story, the main character is Cyana, the Spirit of The Moon. She spends a lot of time on earth studying humans, singing, and frequenting cafe cosmos, a coffee shop/nonhuman refuge where she meets up with her friends. She is the leader of a band/nonhuman rights organization called the Cosmic Wonders, and successfully forced global governments to admit that elves and beastfolk(wolf ppl lizard ppl what have you) and spirits exist. I'd talk more about the other characters and plot and confirmed changes for the third iteration but my brain just said no more halfway thru writing this unfortunately

Hi Anon, appreciate the compliment and birthday message! Didn't catch this one until now.

"Best" has multiple categories, and I haven't played the full range (only most of them) so here's my breakdown:

Best gameplay - 7: Skies Unknown [PS4, X1, PC]. While it might not have anything new in terms of core mechanics, the handling of aircraft and their performance was good, and the implementation of the parts system allowed a little more flexibility and options when it came to aircraft and payload selection.

Best story - 5: Unsung War (Squadron Leader in some regions) [PS2]. Yeah, the writing can be corny at best and disingenuous at worst, and preachy at other points with the anti-war warfighter message, but fuck I still love it. Partly because it's probably one of the first narratives in a game that I actually got pulled into while playing it. Other 'story' games I was playing around that same time I didn't get heavily drawn into, or didn't actually have a deeper story to it (though Tony Hawk's Underground 2's story did make me laugh a lot at the time). 5 was the first game to make me cry (Chopper!) and even to this day I still find myself playing it from time to time, even if I know all the missions back to front and could feasibly speed-run it within a couple hours. One of my all time favourites to this day.

Best graphics - 6: Fires of Liberation [X360]. Hear me out. This game still looks amazing on the 360 (and on the X1 when played with reverse compatibility). I don't think 7 has the same level of smoke persistence and particle effects that 6 had, and it shows. The gameplay feature of multiple "operations" (essentially a mission has multiple objectives within a given mission, and you need to complete a certain number to progress further) allowed me to jet from hot zone to hot zone, and if one of those objectives was a air-to-air, seeing the furball of missile smoke trails and explosions grow as I flew in at Mach 1.2 was nothing short of breathtaking.

That's the first part of your question answered.

As for which one you can get for the PS3? Honestly, your only feasible option would be Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and that's if you can find a disk copy as I'm pretty sure it's been pulled from all digital stores. But even then, it's an Ace Combat in name only.

Objectively, it's an okay game. As an Ace Combat fan? It's absolute garbage. I think it would've served better if it was called Call of Duty: Aces Above. The story and concept is much more at home as a CoD/BF type game than it ever was as an Ace Combat. If you've played COD4, just take that story and put the characters in fighter jets and you'll be good.

Well, it's not that identical, but fuck, it ticks the checklist of COD4 copies of that time period:

Generic white male military officer that holds high enough rank to have authority but low enough to still see direct action? Check: Colonel William Bishop, field commander of the US contingent of NATO's Task Force 108.

Conflict in some third-world country that has the US involved in interventionary/peacekeeping efforts? Check: US Forces as part of a NATO TF in Africa.

Tense relations between US forces and Russian forces? Russians are also deployed to Africa in the same AO, and while they are alligned with NATO's objectives in the region, it's made explicit that Russia is only there on their own terms.

Internal conflict in Russia results in war breaking out, and US is involved? Yep, ultranationalist forces launch a coup and try to seize control.

Globe trotting across the world in notable cities and locations? Let's see... missions taking place over Miami, Dubai, the Suez Canal, Moscow and Washington DC.

A WMD that is either nuclear or not-a-nuke-but-just-as-devestating? The "Trinity" is a large thermobaric weapon, essentially a scaled down MOAB that the Russians made into a cruise missile.

Russian antagonist with paper-thin justifications for doing what he's doing? Alexi 'Akula' Markov's rampage of revenge against NATO and the US is because his wife was killed in a NATO airstrike during the Bosnian War.

Gratuitous graphics and explosions involving military hardware that costs more than any one of us can ever imagine of seeing? One of the game's marketing taglines was 'make metal bleed'. Need I say more?

Honestly, if you're in a position to? Get a PS4 or X1 and then pick up Ace Combat 7, or get it for PC (and play it with an Xbox or PS controller).

Mega Man X7 Part 3

And we’re back!

Snipe Anteator’s stage is borderline nauseating, what with the camera constantly spinning around everytime you enter a warp point (meaning every 5 seconds) and with said camera being stuck on your ass preventing you from seeing jack shit while you’re trying to navigate the upside down portion of the stage.

Anteator himself is the worst of the 8 Mavericks, he’s like Infinity Mijinion in that he’s such a clusterfuck of shit being flung at you with no rhyme or reason, making the best strategy just shooting at him hoping he dies before you do.

And don’t ask me about using the weakness: X7′s weapons are so atrocious that they don’t even wprk properly against the bosses they’re supposed to be used against, either because it’s incredibly awkward to hit the boss with one or they don’t do all that much damage but rather simply stun the boss for a few seconds.

Wind Crowrang is probably the most infamous level of the game and it’s all because of the first part, with the planes to be used as platforms over a bottomless pit. A combination of X7′s worthless camera preventing you from not only seeing more than 3 feet ahead of you but also from having decent depth perception, and of this game’s clunky controls (and hitboxes) makes this segment a goddamn chore: the best part is if you die you have to rewatch that intro cutscene every single time.

Vanishing Gungaroo’s stage wants to be Ride Armor centric, too bad the Ride Armors are slower than a turtle that’s had its legs broken and a 10 ton weight strapped onto its shell, and they control very stiff of course, so I mostly just ignore them and try to get through the level as quickly as I can except at the end it wants you to destroy a number of Ride Armors before fighting the boss, like it’s Sonic Heroes or something.

So we got the Glide Armor! Look at X’s gliding animation: super stiff, not even really animated at all and lacking any graphical effect indicating any sort of gliding technology, I’m surprised he’s not horizontally T-posing while gliding.

Dr.Light’s lines convince me that the devs were not really familiar with the series, because it’s pretty clear that he’s just a recorded message here, despite X4-5-6 pretty explicitly having him speak and interact directly with the characters. Not even X1-2-3 had him say things like “I wish I could give these parts myself”, which made the possible retcon of him actually being an AI surprisingly easy to swallow. X7 just didn’t get the memo.

Speaking of shitty plot wanna talk about Red?

So Red is supposed to be this rough, “charismatic” leader of a band of dangerous vigilantes, someone who’s supposedly pretty perceptive...

and yet Sigma can just casually approach him from the shadows, clad in a blatantly evil black cloack, offer him a way to make him and his men more powerful that involved hurting innocent people, not demand ANYTHING in return....and he FALLS for it!?

What’s funnier is that he seemingly didn’t even realise that’s Sigma! As we’ll see later on Red Alert simply called him “The Professor”.

How?
