So me and @rangerzath decided to make Alan and Casey in WoW. Why, you ask? Because we love these characters so much, and if they can exist in Dead by Daylight and Fortnite, why can't they can exist in World of Warcraft 😊.
Speaking of which, we're in the top ten of our server. We pugged our way to AOTC for this tier (though poor Zath/Casey hasn't been able to get the legendary 😭). We've also been pushing M+. Also you're probably wondering why I put Alan in a mini skirt. The answer is: why not? He deserves to look pretty.
#casey is a ret/prot paladin and alan is a shadow/holy priest#and in casey you were wondering yes we have trench and darling already in WoW#the brain rot is strong with us#world of warcraft#there may or may not be a mini skirt related story in the near future coming to Ao3 with Alan#wyrmrest accord#rangerzath#ch: alan wake

“ what about us? “ for Iseult or Maxwell
"Lady Iseult is as much an enigma as she is generous in her gifts to the Order," Eld spoke quietly and calmly. "She has aided is many dark times when bullets and grit are far from being able to gather supplies or calm the hysteria of the masses."
"I don't much about where she comes from, but I do know it was from a long time ago. She spoke often a man from the Waycrest history with a fondness that I doubt was beyond just tenderness."
"Maxwell used to give me a lot of guff about being stuck in my old ways with my crossbow," Eld muttered as he folded his hands calmly, he did not smile talking about the bounty hunter but didn't let any venom sink. "Said I was falling too far behind in the times. Which is funny coming from him."
"But here I am now, not quite by choice but by necessity. I'm sure he'd be quite pleased to see my arms now."

Coming September 7th: "Hellsqueal, the True Warchief's REMIX"
WHO: The Tirisfal Theatre Troupe...and YOU! WHAT: "Hellsqueal: The True Warchief's Remix", a live performance! WHERE: The Shrine of Fellowship, Jade Forest WHEN: Saturday, September 7th, 6:00 PM PST // 8:00 PM Central
(Original poster by our beloved friend Erialin. Miss you always <3)
Many years have passed since the fall of Garrosh Hellscream, widely referred to as only the second worst Warchief to ever live. In the wake of his legacy of failure, come have a laugh at his expense as we take a brief and historically accurate look at his career as Warchief of the Horde! Come join the illustrious Tirisfal Theatre Troupe as we perform this revision of a classic story, filled with drama, heartache, betrayal, heroics, and jokes about bronze frogs and dubious medical typos!
The show will be held at the Shrine of Fellowship in the Jade Forest (Wyrmrest Accord's shard, non-Warmode), a quick portal away for both factions on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH at 6:00 PM PST // 8:00 PM CENTRAL! Runtime is approximately an hour and a half, though technical difficulties may cause us to go slightly over!
It's been a number of years since the Tirisfal Theatre Troupe last performed the play that put us on the map! While we said goodbye to the Hellsqueal trilogy of comedies a long time ago, with the advent of the wildly successful Mists of Pandaria Remix, we figured now was as good a time as any to dust off the old script and give people another taste of this timeless classic from the Timeless Isles. This time around, a few things are a little different - our standard of quality in what we've written is a little higher, our production value is a little larger, and we've got a number of new and old talent alike returning to the stage! Come join us for this recollection of a simpler time, and maybe find something both new and old to love about this new spin on the Tirisfal Theatre's very first major production that we premiered way back in 2013. Whether you are an old troupie, or someone who has merely heard of us in passing... you're certain to have a Hellscream of a time. Note: This post will be updated and reblogged as more information becomes available or clarifications are added! Special thanks to @shamanofthewilds for editing the time and date details on the poster on such short notice, you're an amazing asset to the company and crew! <3 And best Thrall.

Hey
I have always wanted to rp and while I haven't been playing wow in a while it sounds really cool to dive further into the world that way? Would you have an idea on how one could could get into that? C:
Hi!
The Roleplay community in wow is definitely a hidden one so happy to share and help you get your footing!
Do you want to play Horde or Alliance? That choice may influence which server you will pick. Moon Guard is primarily Alliance, but it does have a small horde community. Wyrmrest Accord is the inverse with a big Horde community and smaller Alliance one. However now that guilds are cross server AND cross faction the barrier between these servers is starting to thin. Essentially you are really picking one server over the other for random chance world rp encounters and even there rpers have “anchor groups” for people to hop servers or phases and be in the same space for big events.
How do I find people to roleplay with? You can always walk through Stormwind or Orgrimmar on MG or WrA but the best way to get consistent rp is through guilds. Each guild is essentially a massive dnd group. Some are so big they basically have guilds within their guilds.
On top of guilds there is a massive network of discords that communities use to coordinate server wide events like the Tournament of Ages or Conquest on Moon Guard. Guilds will also advertise in these discords and open events usually advertise there as well!
You can also search the WoW forums of these servers for events and guilds to join.
Do I need addons? Yes! Addons are essential for rping. Three addons are a must Total Roleplay 3, emote splitter, and Listener/snooper.
Total Roleplay 3 or TRP is essentially a character sheet that players can mouse over you and read. You can describe your character, the way they sound, or act in glances, write a short bio, and more.
Emote Splitter - This addon with allow for you to write and post long emotes and it will split it up for you based on wow’s chat character limit.
Listener/Snooper - wow rp can be an overwhelming amount of text sometimes. This addon will ping you if someone says your name and will allow you to mouse over a character and see exactly what they said.
What lingo should I know?
OOC - out of character
IC - in character
(Text) - This is a comment being said oocly
Para - this player likes to write in descriptive paragraphs
Mirror - this player will mirror your style
Any other tips? Elune yes. Write your emotes on a google doc or something connected to the cloud. Crashes happen and you will lose an emote you spent 3 minutes writing in a flash.
/e - this creates that descriptive orange text. There is a range on this so if a player is out of range they may not see your emote. If you would like to remove your name from the descriptive text type “/e |”
Grab a bunch of elixir of tongues! They are always good to have on hand in case you run into an opposite faction player.
There’s a lot of toys and potions out there that do cool stuff! Keep your eyes open for them!
I hope this is helpful for you and others!!

When: Saturday December 21st at 5:30PM PST (WrA server time) Where: Amberline Lodge, Grizzly Hills - Northrend Style: Kaldorei Holiday Attire: Formal Silver or White Clothes Anchor: Celasa - Wyrmrest Accord Invite: Open (Alliance & Neutral)
ILLTHANYN - THE CLEANSE
“Darkness covered us in the beginning, and we could not see. We cried for guidance and the moon shone down bright upon us. Her soft light not only illuminated the night for us but also gave comfort. Her light touched us from within, enabling us to see even when the moon was not visible…” - Tyrande Whisperwind
Recognized as the longest night of the year, and the eve of cleansing when Elune’s healing touch reaches out to her children. Kaldorei all across Kalimdor don formal white clothes (often red and white hanboks) and gather in their town or city’s place of worship to celebrate. Illthanyn is deeply rooted in the cycle of the year, it is the seed of time, the longest night and the shortest day, where the Goddess once again becomes the Mother Moon and gives birth to the new sky. In a poetic sense it is on this longest night of the winter, the dark night of our souls, that there springs the new spark of hope, the sacred fire, the light of the world, the inner glow of the Kaldorei.

Clan of The Earthmother
How did we get here?
With the advent of Pandaria Remix and the speed with which it allowed you to level characters from creation to max, I decided to take the plunge and ‘move’ all of my characters to an RP realm, specifically Wyrmrest Accord. Some of them I paid to move, such as the Tauren Shaman who was my very first character, and some I simply deleted and remade on WrA. Over the course of Remix, I levelled roughly 30 characters to 70, first to have one of each class on both factions, and then because I was having fun and decided to level one for each spec.
To provide myself with ample roleplay options I made sure to include one of each race in my characters. I started the expansion with a few different characters; predominantly my Tauren Paladin and Tauren Priest. As a fan of Tauren lore and mythology I set about writing my Paladin’s lore as a Sunwalker under Aponi Brightmane’s command. Over the course of writing this back story I got to thinking of how a Tauren priest, who draws from An’she in a similar way to Sunwalkers, would use the void. As my priest was played as a discipline priest this was something I wanted to try and ‘explain’ in her back story.
I imagined that instead of drawing on the void, they would likely draw up Mu’sha as the druids did. This felt like a better compliment to a solar An’she priest than the void. As such I styled my priest as the daughter of Aponi Brightmane and a powerful druid. She would wield An’she’s light to heal and Mu’sha’s to harm. This feels pretty close to the in-game representation of druids, but as a more naturalistic race it makes sense.
At this point I decided I would try and include my other Tauren characters and after a little thought came up with the idea of a naturalistic clan of Tauren comprised of individuals devoted to The Earthmother and her various aspects, rather than being a clan brought together by blood. I backed out to character creation and looked at all the classes available to Tauren/Highmountain and tried to think of how each would fit into this group. The following is the diagram I came up with:
Class designations and names
For many classes I decided to imagine what a Tauren culture might refer to them as. I decided to name druids Moonwardens in opposition to the canonical Sunwalkers, and Celestial Seer/Oracle for the priests who bridged the two eyes of The Earthmother. Fire mages felt like a natural extension of An’she worship and so were named Suncallers. At first, I wasn’t sure how to ‘justify’ warlocks but eventually landed on the idea that they could dwell in the shadows cast by An’she’s light and worship that aspect of the mythology. Because of this shadow focus I decided on Umbral Witches for their ‘class name’ Rogue’s joining them felt like a natural fit but I wanted something that felt more grounded in a description of their abilities than their beliefs and so they were named Shadehooves.
For Warriors and Hunters, I didn’t want to force the idea of them using naturalistic powers when there was no in-game support for them. I figured a guard corps for the clan would make the most sense for them. I named the warriors Guardians and Hunters were dubbed Striders in homage to the Plainstriders that wander Mulgore.
With the Tauren’s reverence for their ancestors and heritage, Shamans and Monks felt like a perfect fit for a spiritual group within the clan and while Farseer is an established Shaman title that made sense I struggled with Monk for a while but eventually I landed on Spirit Horns as a similar naming style as the Rogues Shadehooves.
I didn’t find a way to have death knights make sense as they felt like such an antithesis of the core of a clan dedicated to The Earthmother. I also didn’t really care to force them into it for the same reason.
I created one of each and while I don’t tend to RP actively, I do like writing stories for my characters and imagining how they would react to the changing world.
Character List
Garahirn Grimtotem – Sunwalker (Protection Paladin)
Hunadi Brightmane – Celestial Seer (Discipline Priest)
Rhanoth – Guardian (Arms Warrior)
Mohkri – Farseer (Restoration Shaman)
Meshagor – Moonwarden (Guardian Druid)
Quara – Suncaller (Fire Mage)
Paohu – Strider (Marksman Hunter)
Rhugon – Umbral Witch (Warlock)
Tuhalin Palehide – Shadehoof (Assassination Rogue)
Orwam – Spirit Horn (Mistweaver Monk)
I’ll be posting either their back stories here or my thoughts on their place in the expansion and the campaign.

Give us a basic rundown on your OCs, who they are, what their favorite colors are, and if you have a song you associate with them :3
I’m a chronic oc maker so I will keep the list short by only talking about the ones that people might encounter in WoW! (US - Wyrmrest Accord, say hi if you see me!!)
• Zhuklesh: He’s a dracthyr evoker who combats the difficulties of his creation and abandonment by Neltharion with the joyous whimsies of life. Though not a Dark Talon (and overall claiming neutrality), he tends to stick with the Horde over the Alliance because he enjoys the vibes that the Horde brings to the table. He’s curious, fierce, and proud. Finding his favorite color was an absolute delight to him, and he’s settled on an enjoyment of bright and gentle pinks such as the shades found streaking the sky at dawn. I didn’t have a song readied to associate with him but I’m making the snap decision to assign To The Sky by Owl City.
• Vildryc: A primal dragon from the ages of Galakrond and the War of the Scaleborn, he was meant to be elevated with the power of an Incarnate after Vyranoth was sealed in the Vault. However, he failed the ritual and was consumed by the ice, thought dead and left forgotten for thousands of years. When the Dragon Isles were awakened and flooded with mortal explorers, Vildryc was unintentionally freed from his icy prison. Now he’s trying to adjust to modern Azeroth while still seeking a way to carry on the war that is so fresh in his memory, unwilling to forgive the Aspects. If asked about his favorite color, he’d answer that it’s a vibrant violet. As for songs, I’ll go with either Frequency or Back To The Earth, both by Starset.
• Ael’thein Mirthheart / “Eyes”: Ael’thein is a blood elf who was aligned with the Illidari on Outland, where he worked in the Den of Mortal Delights. After surviving the raid on the Black Temple, he fled back to Quel’Thalas where he grew in popularity as a courtesan. Enough popularity that the magisters began sticking their noses into his business to ensure his minor levels of influence could be used to maintain Silvermoon’s peace and order. Ael’thein grew resentful and took a “vacation” that spiraled into landing him among the Blacktalon. Now he adopts the code name and title “Eyes of the Black Prince”, returning to Silvermoon to use his status to spy for Wrathion. Just to keep him up to date on important happenings, of course. His favorite color is very typical for a blood elf, being the bolder shades of red. I don’t have any songs picked out for him yet.
• Caedmus: My very sad old man. A draenei who lived long enough ago to remember fleeing Argus, he spent the following thousands of years growing angry with the constant fleeing of his people. Draenor was a home that he’d hoped would become permanent. Obviously that didn’t work out, and his rage finally exploded when the Exodar crashed, killing his wife, and he learned it was sabotage. Despite being heavily injured, he went to confront the blood elves responsible and promptly got slaughtered. Years later, he found himself waking in Acherus, no memories of his previous life present. Being a death knight has been a very unfun time for him and after gaining his free will, he’s taken to wandering Azeroth, a shell of his living self. He’ll claim not to have a favorite color, that it’s not something he’s put much thought into. There are many songs (a whole playlist even) for him but I am choosing It’s All So Incredibly Loud by Glass Animals.
• Zolduri: Once a troll of the Gurubashi and now vaguely of the Darkspear, she was the high priestess of Hir’eek long ago when Hakkar and the Atal’ai were rising to power. For speaking out against Hakkar and preparing to leave with the Darkspear, she got jumped one night and sacrificed to Hakkar. Later, she was raised as a zombie by the Atal’ai. She spent several centuries enslaved to their will until she was able to break free. Her faith in Hir’eek remains as strong as ever and she has taken to coping with the shame she feels at her undead state by devoting everything that she is and does to her loa. Recently, she’s also taken to watching over the Darkspear from afar, lending them aid under cover of night and always fleeing before she can be seen. Her favorite color is the sort of greens that you’d find standing in a forest and staring at leaves filtering sunlight. She doesn’t have any songs associated with her yet.
• Nythoren Moonweaver: He’s a night elf who grew up as a caretaker of Elune-favored spiders and a temple healer. The second invasion of the Burning Legion ripped his life out from under him and ultimately resulted in his encountering Illidan, training as a demon hunter, and discovering being transgender. He elected to consume an aranasi for his ritual, clinging to his love of spiders. Afterwards, he served Illidan primarily as a strategist and as a trainer of basic first aid skills for the Illidari. In the current age, with the Legion defeated and Illidan gone, he’s taken up a hobby of spider breeding, half returning to his old life as a caretaker of the creatures. His favorite color is orange, especially in its softer or faded shades. I have no songs chosen for Nythoren yet.
• Leoranaku / “Leo”: They’re one of my newest, so this is going to be short. A Netherwing dragon who came with their flight to Azeroth, they’re determined to find a way to bring more of Outland’s creatures to the safety of Azeroth as their former home crumbles away. To this end, they travel Azeroth in search of environments that might be able to well-support Outland life. They’re quite taken with the forsaken, and assume the visage of one. Much less taken with orcs, having been a beast of the Illidari’s fel orcs in the past. Leo’s favorite color is just about any shade of blue imaginable. I currently don’t have any songs for them either.
#if people want to know any more I’m so happy to talk about them#these are also just the ones that I rp in-game#even just for wow OCs I have. several more. they just aren’t allowed to exist in game for various reasons#world of warcraft#wow oc#world of warcraft oc#confront the dragon

“ what about us? “
"Felscythe," the witch hunter would say the name with an undertone of curse as he rested his hands on the table. "I don't exactly go out of my way to be in his line of sight."
"I accept a general level of professional respect between myself and the necromancer," Eld would continue as he kept his eyes steady on the interrogator. "He knows his business and I know mine. The middle ground is a troubled spot. But when I need something from that side of the field, I know I can trust his word and knowledge."
"How much he is willing to provide is questionable depending on what he really wants. Nothing is free with him. And there are lines that I will not cross that he would call 'easier'."
The inquisitor would lift his cup of stale water, sipping softly after his careful words to the guardsman. "If I was interested in what was easier with Nixalegos, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

Coming October 18th: The TTT's DOUBLE FEATURE at the Dance of the Dead!
(Original background from Quince Media via Pixabay, free-for-use license terms apply) An all too familiar chill is in the air, and the dead rise again to march in solidarity with their brethren. The Dance of the Dead, an event hosted for many, many years by the Undercity Nexus crew over in Caer Darrow, has returned once more this year! Last year, the Tirisfal Theatre was proud to perform on stage for them, and we return once more this year with gusto! Join us on October 18th over on the blood-soaked isle of Caer Darrow, and come to the burned down house across from the fountain at the town's center as we take you on a haunted house tour you won't soon forget with two tales of horrific homes gone wrong! That's right, it'll be like HGTV - but with affordable property! Our first offering of the evening is our delightful horror comedy show based on a chilling song by Jonathan Coulton, where an aspiring real-estate investor attempts to flip his first property. As he is fixing the place up to be sold for a pretty copper, he soon realizes it came with a resident already inside - and it's happy to see him! A little too happy... Will our everyman find a way to make his fortune on this old home? Or will he decide to throw it all away and destroy everything he worked for?
My guess is the latter... Find out, as we explore the horror of the creepy doll in...
THE HOUSE ON RAVEN HILL!
Then, stick around for a story that will chill you to the bone, as we go back in time to an era long ago. A wealthy Lord, known for his benevolence and generosity, gives everything he has to the people of town and is adored in return. But when he takes in a stranger cloaked in mystery and lies, he may find that he has given far too much in exchange for nothing. As the days go by, he may find that his world will change considerably, and not for the better.
Join us as we delve into the mind of a man who has much to give, and everything to lose, and discover this cautionary tale in one of our few non-comedic scripts, the tragic and suspenseful tale of...
THE ALTRUIST!
As we progress through the night, the troupe may stop for brief Q&A segments, put on a few surprise short skits for everyone, and have much ado at the theatre! For those taking part in the Dance of the Dead's D20 competition, pop in and enjoy our show while you wait for your matches! Or if you got your proverbial rear-end handed to you, heal your wounds with laughter and sorrow! The Tirisfal Theatre is pulling out all the stops to make this evening one to remember for all at the Dance of the Dead! So seek out a Moon Guard anchor, come on over to this frightful locale, and join us for a night like no other - only at the Dance of the Dead!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Dance of the Dead is a large Forsaken-themed event hosted every year on Moon Guard server! Despite it being a Moon Guard event, anchors are available to pull you in from other servers to enjoy!
Our performances utilize player characters from both factions. As such, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you have Elixir of Tongues and TRP to follow and enjoy the show! Typically people will sell these or give them away before and during the show, but try to have some on hand!
As with any of these night-time events, Inky Black Potions are also recommended for maximum immersion!
There will be a brief intermission of 10-15 minutes between shows to allow our crew to take breaks! The total runtime of both plays should be about an hour and a half at maximum, but it may run over depending on technical difficulties.
We cannot host parties or anchor once the show begins! Remember that this will be taking place on the Moon Guard shard of the game. As we find out more information about how anchors are being handled, we'll be certain to edit this information!
Remember, the show starts at 7 Central / 5 Wyrmrest Accord time on October 18th
Below is a map of the performing area! The blue marked area is where the audience should sit as to not interfere with the cast and crew, as well as to be able to see and hear the entire show! If you sit in the white area, or the 'nosebleed section' as we call it, you may be unable to hear a lot of what happens on stage!
We hope to see you all in the audience, and please be sure to check out all the information on the Dance of the Dead, happening October 18th and 19th on Moon Guard server! TL:DR SUMMARY WHO: The Tirsfal Theatre Troupe (Along with the Undercity Nexus and Dance of the Dead staff and crew!) WHAT: Double Feature at the Dance of the Dead! Two spooky plays written and performed by the Tirisfal Theatre Troupe WHERE: Caer Darrow, Western Plaguelands (Moon Guard shard, non-War Mode) WHEN: October 18th WHY: BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU!
