Under the full blue moon, a few steps from this very spot, did we celebrate my 37th year on earth.⁣ ⁣ The amazing instrument I hold, a treasure bestowed upon me by @artforvalhalla and @moon_cross_shop has shined a light on a lesson that has served me as of late.⁣ ⁣ I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and begin my journey through it's ancient vibrations and soul shifting song. The sound that currently escapes is something I'll spare you, but each time the bow glides I am one step closer to the elusive tune that waits within.⁣ ⁣ This year has seen immense change and uncertainty in so many aspects. Nothing I had planned for came about and each new day brought with it another challenge. Yet with every failed plan and frustrating turn, came new opportunities and an abundance of growth.⁣ ⁣ While I could be disappointed for stumbling along the way, I choose instead to stand in awe of the woman you see here. Every day she stood back up and continued fervently to work her magic. Created her own light as the darkness closed in. ⁣ ⁣ Life may not quite be a harmonious chorus, but I'll proudly warble away along this winding path of mine. With the New Moon comes self-reflection and peace of mind. What realizations have you made about yourself recently? •🌘🌑🌒• Every so often I find myself falling into an old habit, one that I think many of you can relate to: Equating my self worth to my accomplishments and productivity. It catches me when I least expect it, and it can lead to a very negative mindset when anything happens that's outside of my control. I start valuing my work over my mental health, my creativity plummets, and I'm constantly restless. Luckily, I have tools now to combat my workaholic tendencies. When I catch myself starting to fall into this mental trap, I take time to myself and go for a long walk in the woods. ~ Two sisters, named Thought and Memory, perch lightly atop a mountainside, surveying a far away land ~ •✨• I'm so thrilled to show you the second photoshoot we did in Morocco: this time in Ourika Valley, a beautiful spot in the middle of the Atlas Mountains, along the Ourika River. The mountains were red with clay and snowy caps were peaking out from behind the rocky cliffs. I was also blessed to have a chance to model with my beautiful sister @pengwen1337! For most of the year, she's off in Switzerland doing world-changing research for Cern, but we got a chance to spend a whole week with her this past week in this spectacular adventure 🖤 •✨• I also featured many other artists in this shoot, and I'm so excited to share more photos that feature these pieces in more detail!
