who up tonight thinking about aro rui again. and perhaps. Living
just! rui's loneliness being a factor of alienation from his peers but also from growing up in an amatonormative society where love is prized above all else. rui, who has always witnessed romantic love as a concept through the eyes of somebody else, but has never experienced on his own. rui, who feels like a complete outsider, merely a member of the audience when it comes to love. he's only a monster, one who is uncaring of others' feelings and is far too wretched to understand such an idea.
but then!! it comes to him! not through a special someone or a hasty front porch confession, but through the understanding that he has a place, he's not alone, there are people just like him. people who want to form connections with him. connections that don't have to be labelled, but rather, transcend any idea of what is considered romantic or platonic, anything else. they can be their own people, their own thing.
it's not only love, it's the bigger realization that you fill up the room and leave holes when you are gone. your name carries weight, and tracks footprints wherever you go. you are a fond memory of the past, a hand they hold for the future, and so many things that matter or could ever matter for each day you live here on earth.
for rui, as someone who was taught to believe that he'll never find what he's looking for, that life will continue to be a futile search for solace and belonging, it's surreal! the fact that he just. has so much now. blows his mind. and that makes me really emotional. good people are out there, good people who understand you and want to see you smile :) and if it's not people, it's experiences, places, feelings, et cetera et cetera.
rui's character arc is such a beacon of hope for anyone who believes, or ever believed, that good things are/were just not in the cards for them. that good things only lie in what society expects of them, in the unattainable. his story is a reminder that there IS a future, that life isn't a tireless search for that One Thing, but more so a journey of learning to open your arms to accept the Many Things that may come your way.
i just think he's a little neat

Feeling very intensely over project sekai right now (I’ve pulled almost 150 times for this damn rui card and I have no more energy to keep farming, and also I didn’t realize that the close game offline bachata was coming back so aaaaaa) so here are some random opinions I have and note that I am not a consistent story reader, I’ve read some of them but not every one
1 - out of the units, VBS has the best music. Period. I’d say 90% of their commissions AND covers are spectacular, there’s really only one or 2 covers I can say I’m not fond of, and some of the songs that I think are just ok are still really good, they’re just not my kind of style
2 - honami is not underrated. I will not tolerate “honami is underrated” this “honami is underrated” that. if everyone in the entire universe thinks says that, she’s not. Now, I really have only read 1 or 2 l/n stories, and if people didn’t say she was the best character ever all the time I’d probably like her more, but she is just kinda meh to me
3 - if we want to talk underrated though, HARUKA. Yes I am biased, but still. How often do you see people getting excited about her in the way they do over literally any other character? She’s easily in the top 5 vocals in the game (honestly I’d put her at one but I’ll go more into why that’s not the case in the next blurb). Personality wise (I haven’t kept up with stories in a while so bear with me and my projecting) she’s feels so genuine and mature, and she’s just got this calming presence to her that I really like. Yet I see NOBODY ever talk about her. Have y’all heard her chikyuu saigo cover?? Or really most of the alts she has? She’s amazing and I love her
4 - I have beef with whoever picks/arranges lines for the vocalists if that makes sense? It really didn’t click with me until I heard a part of the l/n Tokyo teddy bear cover. There was a line (and I don’t remember it off of the top of my head so sorry but anyways) that would’ve been AMAZING with shiho’s stronger, deeper vocals. And they gave it to either saki or honami, and it made this really powerful sound something weak and flimsy. And I’ve noticed this a lot in other songs more broadly too. Honami and saki aren’t bad vocalists at all, but the lines they are given don’t fit their voices, and this happens with a majority of the characters. I’d love to give haruka best vocals, because some of her covers are just so beautiful, but some of the songs she’s in really don’t highlight her type of vocals. Top of my head I’m thinking her near cover, where once again it just sounds weak and unenthusiastic. I know not every song can perfectly fit with every vocalist every time, but this genuinely happens so much and it irritates me a lot (and don’t get me started on the vs tuning 75% of the time yeesh) with this specific issue, I think every group does have it to some extent, but n25 is better at giving the right lines to the right vocalist, followed by vbs. And I’d honestly expect n25 to be able to make weird lines assignments work a majority of the time. They all have pretty versatile voices and in my opinion they have the most professional sound out of the 5 groups. With that said, in the context of the game, I’d have to say mizuki’s vocals are number one for me. The way they are able to almost shapeshift their voice is incredible, and I can’t recall a song where I think they sounded out of place. Haruka is still number 2, but it’s a bummer that so many times the vocals sound off because the va’s are given something that simply aren’t in their range, or their voice doesn’t just doesn’t give off the vibe requested from the song.
5 - Leo/need. Where do I even begin. Like I said I haven’t read much of their story nor do I remember it, but I’ve got beef. Please don’t attack me for this, but I really don’t like ichika. I’m sorry it had to be said but most of the time I just can’t stand her. I get that Leo/need is a band type group and she is the vocalist, but this mechanic doesn’t make sense a in a game where every other group everyone gets vocals in songs and b THE DRUMMER AND KEYBOARDISTS SING?? Like if saki was giving harmonies, that’s fine, and I totally get shiho having more vocal lines then saki and honami cuz stage wise she’d still be more up front and it’s not uncommon for guitar/bass players to add to vocals, but it makes no sense for a drummer to have vocal lines. Like in the slightest. Like that’s not how sound works at live shows?? Or lungs?? And with that in mind, I do think it’s actually insane how Leo/need is just Mike and ichika 90% of the time. And ichika in general just annoys me for some reason. Nothing in specific but she urkes me. Last Leo/need opinion for the moment, but going back to the honami is underrated thing, SHIHO. YALL THE DISRESPECT. I honestly don’t care too much for l/n but shiho is the best thing about l/n. I know her 1 cover is decently talked about, but I am OBSESSED with her from Tokyo cover. She somehow can sound edgy but also soft and light at the same time, and honestly I just think she’s really cool in general, and I wish she got more vocals in songs :(
I have more but I’m exhausted. I’ll probably add on to this at some point

Hot take alert but like. You guys know I love tsukasa I’ve talked at length about what a weird little freak (said fondly) he is but I think there’s a really bizarre phenomenon where the people who really focus on him and only him tend to view other characters (wxs in particular) as like. Extensions of him. And treat the way those characters act in relation to him as the complete full picture. I’ve talked a lot about how rui acts very different with tsukasa than he acts with other characters - look at how he acts with an/toya/nene in one on one conversations for example - but emu & nene also suffer from this. Especially nene oh my god.
(Briefly fighting the rui isn’t responsible allegations) I think WMS and his plan in OHE are both enough evidence against this. He likes to get silly but he also is incredibly competent. He’s not just a genius in the inventing sense. Gesturing at the 4koma where he spins wxs acting insane into a positive thing.
Emu also gets fucked over by the general refusal to actually analyze her character beyond “shes silly” like. Emu is very responsible! She had been fighting to keep the wonder stage open on her own, she handled a lot of the upkeep and cleaning on her own, she’s self sufficient, she likes learning (asking ena to teach her abt paintings, studying the way Riley park was ran), she likes helping others (goal to make people happy, helping nene study, making others feel included). She felt like she alone had to handle the responsibility of keeping her grandpa’s vision alive for years. She’s goofy with her friends because she’s having fun.
Nene suffers the most from this because her relationship to tsukasa is very… unique. In that she shows affection through sniping at him. She occasionally does that with rui as well which is because she’s comfortable enough with them to do the friendly bullying thing - it’s not really something she does with other people, esp people she doesn’t know that well. She’s a bit of a hater inside her own head yeah but she’s not like… an overly rude or mean character. I see a lot of people boiling her character down to Mean Bitch when she’s 1) not even that mean to tsukasa come on now 2) she’s actually pretty nice. she’s just awful at socializing with others. Horrific social anxiety.
Wxs all have very unique relationships to each other - the rui & tsukasa dynamic is very different from the rui & nene dynamic, the nene & emu dynamic is very different from the nene & tsukasa dynamic, the emu & tsukasa dynamic is very different from the emu & rui dynamic, etc etc - and so much of that gets ignored because people will not take the tsukasa centered glasses off. And then their tsukasa takes aren’t even good. Boo. Begging you people to gaf about the other wxs members.

I did it with ATLA, figured why not do it with PRSK? Here's a random assortment of AUs I probably won't do anything with:
Cinderella AU. This can go one of two ways: Toya and/or Mafuyu is Cinderella. I'm thinking masked ball to further hide their identities from their respective Prince/Princess aka Akito/Kanade. We follow the story of Cinderella almost to a T. Almost. Neither of them have an evil STEP-parent. Just an evil parent. Toya's brothers can be his evil brothers, but as a single child, we gotta give Mafuyu siblings. Or we can diverge from the story and make it so her mom won't take Mafuyu to the ball, even after she's done everything she's been asked (ordered) to do. Mizuki would be Mafuyu's Fairy Godmother and Tsukasa would be Toya's. Because I think it'd be a neat idea for their Fairy Godmother to just be someone they know and not actually a fairy. This is the rough idea, things need to be worked on, but yeah :D
Fantasy, Arranged Marriage AU (follows the White Day cards roughly). Lady Asahina, Queen of her kingdom (I actually had names for the three kingdoms but forgot them, oops) wants to arrange a marriage between her kingdom and the neighboring two. Not so much to unite them, but as a show of control. She plans for her daughter, Mafuyu, to marry the son of King Harumichi, while she's ordering one of her subjects, a sorcerer named Rui Kamishiro, to marry a noble's daughter. The noble is said to be a sickly girl named Saki who was recuperating from her illness, but would be in perfect health in time for the wedding. She is the first to arrive with her brother and his fellow knights. Lady Asahina has her daughter show her around, stating it would be good practice for whenever she hosted grand balls and tea times. Rui, would eventually take Saki to his room and leave her brother and his fellow knights behind to enjoy tea with Mafuyu and her two ladies in waiting: Honami and Shizuku. Upon them leaving, Saki's brother breaks down into tears and that's when the truth is revealed. The person who left with Rui wasn't Saki. Saki was sitting in the room with them. The person who left with them? Her older brother, Tsukasa, who vowed to help her walk free and take her place as Kamishiro's wife, so she could go home and marry her love, a musician named Ichika.
Intruder Alert aka Unexpected (and unwanted) Guests in the SEKAIs: Basically, their parents/siblings find out about the SEKAIs. Mafuyu's finds out because she's a nosy little bitch. Ena's dad finds out because he's also a nosy little bitch but in the sense that he wasn't actually trying to find things, he just comes across them. Mizuki's sister finds out because her girlfriend, Hinata, told her about the Untitled Song in her little sister's phone, and how she was curious what it was and when she went to listen to it, she found herself in a new world. She was back in her sister's room so fast she can't help but wonder if she was imagining things. Ken finds out because An accidentally took him with her (she was in a rush and didn't see him come up behind her until it was too late). He gets along with MEIKO tho, so that's a plus. And so on and so forth.
Unit Shuffle AU: Self explanatory, tempted to make one, but not sure if I ever will (:
Fairy AU: The idea for this is that everyone is a fairy (obviously). Each Unit is a different type of fairy (kinda like the ones from Pixie Hollow). L/n are fairies who help people remember fond memories, moments that made them happy or feel loved, they tend to work with everyone but usually just with each other. MMJ are fairies of hope. Their job is to help people go forwards and not give up. VBS are fairies of ambition. They help people push forward and fight for their dreams and goals. Because of this, they often work with MMJ. WxS are dream fairies. Not "my dream is to become this or that," like dreams you get when you sleep. They mainly work with children, helping them get to sleep and comforting them whenever they have nightmares. 25ji are sorrow fairies. They take care of people who've been hurt, are hurting and need someone to care. They help people cry and ask for help. If they ever need to help a child, someone from or all of WxS will help them. Fairies can be seen by the human eye and there is a law that bans fairies being traded or sold. They can't be kept as pets or toys. Do with that as you will.
Well...This Was a Nice (?) Reunion: Toya's family is holding a reunion. It's been years since the last one and he's changed a lot. He honestly doesn't want to go but he can't get out of it. He thinks he might enjoy it when he finds out they'll spend a few hours at Phoenix Wonderland, maybe he can see his older brother and his troupe mates perform a show. Things turn sour rather quickly and Toya uses the moment his dad and aunt start arguing to sneak away. Hopefully WxS will let him hide backstage.
We've Met Before: Sometimes we don't always remember the first time we've actually met someone. This is meant to be moreso a series of small stories where characters are told about times they've met one another before they first met one another (meaning the actual first time was forgotten). Kanade is visiting her father in the hospital when Tsukasa and Saki leave said hospital. A nurse tells her about the time she'd sat with Tsukasa as they both waited to be told about their loved ones condition. When VBS is together at Weekend Garage, Ken tells them about the first time An and Toya actually met. The boy had runaway from home and rather than go where he'd normally go, he ended up at WG. An had spent several hours talking to him before he left. Etc., etc., etc.

so because i’m super silly. remember when i mentioned that 6-8 minute monologue vaguely based on ruikasa?
well i’m writing it now.
the basis of the plot, spoiler alert, is that tsukasa (the main character) is telling the audience (who takes the form of a traveller he has known since their childhood) rui’s original alchemist story (the one he tells in the wxs main story) which happens to be ‘audience character’s favourite. there’s a plot twist i will not bring up yet. heehee.
anyway NOT THE POINT
@jesterkasa-circus-clown-blues you may be interested in this post since you expressed some interest in the monologue!! :)

Hi ! I love your writing ! Would it be okay if i requested Toya and his s/o going on a date to Phoenix wonderland and running into WxS ?
Thank in advance !
-> 𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬
It’s been hard to find time alone with you recently, so why not plan a date with just the two of you? But with his luck, of course it’s no longer just the two of you…
With Toya Aoyagi | Genre - kinda crack?
Cw) mentions of toya’s dad, author got tired so this is kinda short and ends abruptly, Toya forced to acknowledge luck is real, akito is annoying, you almost punch tsukasa and rui
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toya never considered himself an “unlucky” person, nor a “lucky” person. He hardly believed in luck anyways, anything that happens is only by chance. Whether it’s a good chance or a bad chance is merely up to whoever is watching over this world. But if he just had to assume his luck, he’d say it’s in the middle.
His father forced him into classical music- bad luck. During that time, the worst it had ever been, he met you and Akito- good luck. When he dived head first into surpassing Rad Weekend with his group, his father disapproved- bad luck. Everything was balanced in his life, including luck.
But recently, if you asked him to assume what sort of luck he has, he’d more than likely say “bad.”
Everything was going great. Hell- it still was! But there’s been too many interruptions in the past few weeks, with anyone or anything.
The first instance was preparing for a new event in a live houses. Just as Toya was about to go on stage with everyone else, his mother called him for a family emergency. He had to have Arata fill in for him, just to find out this “family emergency” was just a broken piano that needed to be fixed. To say he was annoyed would be an understatement.
The second instance was with you. While not nearly as frustrating as the first scenario, it was still a bother.
You two were on a casual date, just walking around Vivid Street together. Unfortunately, Akito just had to spot you and Toya. He ran up to you two with a stupid smirk. He ended up tagging along for the rest of the “date.” Toya didn’t mind spending time with you and Akito at the same time, but couldn’t he get a little alone time with you?
The third instance made Toya realize something was definitely up. There’s no way these things can keep happening time and time again in a row, right?
This time, it was at Weekend Garage. The whole group had free time after practice today, so everyone decided to hang around for a while at Weekend Garage. “A while” turned into the whole day, but it wasn’t like anyone there minded. Well, not anyone there at least.
The door chimed, alerting Ken of another customer. But when Toya looked back? He wasn’t sure whether he wanted to laugh, cry, roll his eyes, or be in disbelief.
Because there he was, his father, Harumichi Aoyagi in the flesh. At none other than Weekend Garage, one of the most popular street cafes.
No one but you knew what was going on, not even Akito. Toya never introduced the rest to his father mainly out of fear for them, not to mention he never showed pictures either. As a result, they could only imagine what Toya’s father looked like. And this… was certainly not it.
Long story short… Toya’s father wasn’t there to nag him. In fact, he was simply there for a cup of coffee. He’d heard good things about Weekend Garage’s coffee not only from Toya, but from other musicians as well. He thought he should give it a shot.
He spoke with Ken, An’s father, for a bit. They seemed to get along… decently. It was clear to the others Ken wasn’t fond of Harumichi based off the things he’s heard from Toya. Despite that, he remained peaceful throughout the interaction.
His father left the shop, hardly acknowledging Toya much to his relief. This was not a good place for the father and son to interact at, who knows what either of them would slip out.
So here was the dual colored haired boy currently. Toya lied awake in the night, recounting all these past instances. There was one thing he noticed about all of them- they all involved you. The first and third involved others along with you, but it didn’t change the fact you were connected to all of these events.
He wasn’t thinking you were setting him up, but he had a feeling someone was working behind the scenes. Though that leads to the bigger question…who could that be? His group-mates were off the suspect list immediately, he trusted them. None of them would ever do something like this, deliberately at least.
Tsukasa and Rui wouldn’t have, they don’t even know where Vivid Street is located to pull any of this off. His dad? That’s a maybe, but Toya doubts his father would go as far as to breaking a precious piano to screw with his son’s life. They had their problems- but he’d never go that far.
So just who could it be? Or… what could it be? He pondered the question in his mind for what felt like hours, before finally coming up with an idea. He picked up his phone and checked the time, ‘They’re usually still awake around this time’ he thought.
Dialing your number (which he had memorized by heart) he waited patiently on the other end of the line for you to pick up. Heart slightly skipping a beat at the sound of movement through the speaker.
“Hmm, Toya? What’s up? Isn’t it past your bedtime?” You said teasingly. You had always teased him for keeping a strict sleeping schedule, even during the weekends.
“Let’s go to Phoenix Wonderland tomorrow.” He said bluntly, not thinking twice before the words fell out of his mouth.
You were quiet for a moment, taking a second to process what he just said. ‘Isn’t that a bit random?’ You thought.
“Yeah… sure? With who, or will it-“ he cut off your sentence before you could finish.
“Just the two of us… like an actual date. No interruptions this time, just me and you.” His voice held a bit of worry when he mentioned not being interrupted. You only assumed he was referring to the Akito incident a few days back.
“Alright, sounds like a date! I’ll be ready sometime in the afternoon, so I’ll let you know when we can meet up.” You had to admit, you were excited to get one on one time with Toya again. It’s been so long since you hung out as a pair, and you’ve both been too busy to go to each other’s places.
“I’ll be ready whenever. Goodnight, (Name), sleep well.” His tone went softer.
“Goodnight Toya, sweet dreams over there.” And with that, the call ended.
He stared at your contact for a bit after the call ended. He felt… many emotions right now. He was excited to be alone with you for a whole day, but he was still worried something would interfere with your plans. He found it in himself to close his eyes again, finally drifting off to sleep.
‘That’s tomorrow’s problem…’ he thought to himself.
And it was indeed tomorrow’s problem.
The morning started off like any other typical morning in the Aoyagi household, nothing strange about that. The same could be set about your home. Everything was normal so far, nothing out of the ordinary. Well, maybe besides the fact you and your boyfriend were apart for over a day.
Toya didn’t dress too fashionable, this was only a theme park date. It would suck if he wore too much anyways and get stuck on a ride, then that would lead to a whole other problem. As if you were in perfect sync with him, you texted him letting him know you were ready.
‘I’m on my way to your place, meet me half way’ the text read. He replied with a short ‘Alright, leaving now.’
Though ‘half way’ ended up being right in front of the Tenma’s home. There were two thing Toya found notable. The first was that the curtains were shut, when most of the time they were wide open. The second was that there lacked any loud voice, one that could always be heard outside of the house anytime of day. He tried not to think too much of it, but it lurked in the back of his mind.
‘Maybe he’s just asleep…’ he wanted to believe.
The shortcut to Phoenix Wonderland was a real shortcut, resulting in the couple arriving in under 10 minutes. The walk was usually 25 minutes or more, depending on how crowded the streets were. So that shortcut really came in handy anytime you used it.
“So, rides first? Oh! What about those claw machines, we can make it a contest. Whoever gets the most out of the claw machines in five minutes wins.” You sounded too cocky for someone who knew how good Toya was at arcade games, especially claw machines.
He simply nodded, taking your hand, leading you over to the arcade games. Putting enough money in each machine for multiple rounds, you began. You kept checking the side of the glass to make sure the claw was perfectly lined up with a plushie, cutting into your time. Meanwhile, Toya didn’t even bother checking. He kept pressing the button on the stick whenever he assumed it was perfectly lined up.
Safe to say… he won that one.
“A part of me believes you wanted to lose.” Toya stated. You glared at him menacingly, ready to accuse him of rigging your machine to stop you from winning. But, that was interrupted.
“Now look who it is!” A loud voice boomed.
You and Toya had complete opposite reactions to the voice. While Toya turned around instantly, almost having stars in his eyes, you didn’t even want to turn around. If it was who you thought it was… you’d probably end up behaving like Akito.
“Tsukasa?” Toya said in awe. You understood why he respected the Tenma, and you didn’t blame him. But man, did he really have to intervene on your date?
“Not just Tsukasa, I’m here as well.” Another familiar voice chuckled. ‘Oh my god’
“Oh, and Kamishiro? Is your entire troupe here with you, Tsukasa?” Toya asked innocently.
“Uh huh! Look, Nene is here too! Come out from behind Rui, Nene! It’s Toya and (Name)!” A pink haired girl which you weren’t too familiar with exclaimed. She seemed very… Tsukasa like.
Toya put a hand on your shoulder, noticing you were staring at the ground menacingly with your back facing the troupe.
“Do you wanna say hi?” He asked. You begrudgingly nodded your head in response, turning around as much as you thought was necessary, not entirely facing the troupe.
“Hi…”
“(Name)! Look at you Toya, here at my theme park with your significant other.”
“This isn’t your theme park, Tsukasa.” Nene said quietly, but enough for you to hear. You always liked her the most, mainly because she wasn’t as crazy as the others.
“Yeah Tsukasa! This is technically my theme park!” Emu giggled, has this girl been smiling the whole time?!
You groaned at the interaction. They just had to be here the exact day and time you and Toya were… of course.
“Say, why don’t we tag along with you two! We can show you all around the park!” Tsukasa proclaimed. Every second you grew closer and closer to punching him.
“Ah, I don’t believe that’s necessary. I know my way around here.” Toya said rationally. If he kept that up, you’d finally be able to get back to the date.
“We insist!” Rui said with a smug face, another face you wanted to punch.
“We have to get going.” You cut in, waving goodbye to Nene and waiting for Toya to finish his goodbyes.
It took a moment for Toya to realize what just happened. But when he did, he grimaced. Did this date seriously get interrupted? Again?
He couldn’t deny it anymore, these weren’t just coincidences.
Maybe Toya does have bad luck.

some random pjsk hcs !!
here's some silly headcanons i've been thinking about lately! these are all silly and just for fun so please do not take them too seriously, just enjoy!
Tumblr media
leo/need
saki constantly takes leo/need on shopping sprees and gets them to try on some outfits! shiho refuses, but gets dragged into the changing stalls anyway and later comes out with a frilly pink dress and an unimpressed frown.
they have a very long group chat name which is constantly being added to. to be honest, they probably communicate through the name more than the actual messages they send in the chat.
honami always has an emergency kit with almost anything one could possibly need - bandaids, disinfectant, tissues, and even some yummy snacks for when someone is feeling down!
leo/need is always on high alert around saki! they check up on her even with the slightest cough or sneeze. she gets tired of them being so cautious, but appreciates that they care so much <3
they LOVE camping in their favourite park! although they decided to put that idea on hold after a stray cat got into the tent and terrorised them all…
Tumblr media

one day minori and airi were curious as to where the crowd in stage sekai went after the shows there. they tried to stay overnight and see what was going on, but they got disconnected from the sekai! guess they will never know, huh?
minori has posters of haruka all over her room. one day when haruka came to her house, she stuffed all the posters into her bathroom and they got wet… she cried for an hour over her limited edition posters… poor minori :(
shizuku does not understand the concept of emojis. this does not correspond well with airi, who constantly uses the 😭 and 💀 emojis - “airi, are you alright? why are you crying… are you dead?”
minori knows haruka is careful about food, which is why she taught herself to make some super yummy and healthy snacks! she almost burnt down her kitchen, but at least her idol was happy :D

vivid bad squad
they all pretty much have rooms in weekend garage - kohane decorated an’s empty closet, and akito and toya put some things in the empty storage room. it may seem like an odd setup, but all of them are happy to take a break in their small areas when they are tired!
an’s obsession with stars has increased over the years, to the point where her entire bedroom is filled with them. glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, pictures of vbs in star shaped frames, she has got it all!
akito forces the rest of the group to go to strength training because ‘a strong body equals a strong performance!’ an can keep up, kohane is about to pass out, and toya is already lying face flat on the floor…

wonderlands x showtime
this group has had some very cursed sleepovers. tsukasa snores obnoxiously loud, rui death grips whatever member is closest to him, emu somehow ends up upside down every single night, and nene is left wide awake because of these three (who somehow never wake up from this)
emu has a hard time expressing her negative feelings to the others so they always make extra care to make her happy! this is especially true for rui, who makes her all kinds of cute robots to make her happy! he even made one that emu can talk to whenever she feels sad.
nene, as much as she insults them, loves the rest of wxs so dearly. she adds pictures of them to her walls almost every day and feels happier whenever she looks at them.
emu is terrible at hide and seek, but somehow tsukasa is even worse! she will be giggling (not so) quietly and tsukasa will be completely oblivious…

mizuki and ena have an ongoing prank war involving water buckets over the door, pretending the other doesn’t exist, and even going as far as being a fake hacker! it has gotten so bad to the point where mafuyu and kanade need to prevent them from doing anything too reckless.
kanade once tried to visit mafuyu by climbing through her window after she had watched tangled. “mafuyu, m-mafuyu, let down your… rope…? hair…? u-uhmm…” kanade got some very strange looks from the neighbours that day.
mizuki absolutely adores ena’s art. they have multiple pictures of them in their room and show the art to all their friends!
that is all for now! these are not the best, but i hope you enjoyed. eek, posting this is so scary!please request any content ideas if you have anything :) have a good day!!

hi. I have thoughts on wxs symbolism.
So this doesn't come as much of a shock re: the recent event but I'm definitely not the first person to delve into word choice in project sekai, and hindsight is always 20/20 anyway. the entire thing revolves around the conclusion to the event that just came out so it's kind of a spoiler so I'll put it under a readmore.
so like. as we learned in this recent event, the kids are okay. like. they're not getting separated they decided to become a freelance group after all this impending threat and dread of disbandment.
anyway id like to bring the attention to nene and the singing things she has often been associated with. Two things, really; mermaids and canaries.
mermaid obviously comes from Nene's attachment to the little mermaid, which in itself is not dissimilar from wondershow's story- in the same ballpark as the theme of "wanting something that you can't have/can't keep" (and it's also originally a queer story but we don't talk about that) but also in that mermaids were derived from sirens, which are notoriously evil- singing beautifully about your greatest desires only to lure you to a watery grave. Of course the allegory here is visible- all of these kids joined this group because they had a goal and this group would help them attain it. It was in mermaid admiration when the looming threat of disbandment was first introduced- also the same event we learn about Nene's infatuation with the story and the start of her being compared to a mermaid. They're starting to recognize the siren's song for what it is, if you will- something that will lead to dismay, at some point. But why stop sailing? They have a goal to get to, after all.
The shift to canary metaphors is purposely made subtle, I think- you know until it isn't. The first time we see it is in Nene's 3★ card from the second half anniversary event, "to get closer to the canary", where she appears to be watching a video of Yuuka. It's a 3★ so its name isn't really broadcasted anywhere like the featured cards, but it's important to note, and i think they did that for some sense of subtlety.
It's specifically the word for canary used, no other songbird, so it clearly means something- canary in the coalmine is what's most often associated with canaries. When the canary drops it's bad and time to evacuate. In a way, if that card name is referencing yuuka, they're comparing yuuka to the canary in the coalmine- the one that alerted them about the fact they were going to have to split up someday. Then we got the event name "canary sings in a quagmire". Insert every quagmire toilet family guy joke here. Anyway a quagmire refers to a bog or any kind of surface similar to that that gives way under foot- but it's also just used metaphorically to mean a complex situation (a sticky situation, if you will. you know. like mud . like a bog. like a quagmire. im so funny.) The canary sings in the quagmire. The canary continues to sing in tbe awkward situation- do you see my vision here? The canary is still singing. It hasn't keeled over- they're going to be okay, they always were going to be, because it was never a siren singing in the middle of the ocean preparing them for what could very well have been one of the worst experiences of their lives, it was the canary that still sang at the hazardous quagmire near the water. They're going to struggle but they will pull through, because the canary will keep singing.

WxS Virtual Singers: And what I think they mean related to Tsukasa
These are based mostly on what events they partake in as well as what I gathered from the side stories, since most posts I have seen about them don't seem so sure about some of these.
Miku: Child-like excitement and love for shows and smiles. (???)
Kaito: Ideal leader/brother figure. (tendency to overwork)
Len: WxS bond and cautious curiosity. (first time experience making shows with others/friends, as well as other new things)
Rin: Breaking limits and outwards curiosity. (a desire to grow even further and explore new heights over what has been established)
Meiko: Confidence and strength. (reassurance and pride in himself and others)
Luka: Carefree-ness and a bit airheaded. (yet alert with underlying worry at the sign of trouble)

ruikasa au rambles :)
i never really did anything with this au but i wanted to tell someone about it because ive been thinking about it again recently so im tossing it into the tumblr pit
(fyi i use he/she for tsukasa and he/they/she for rui)
in middle school, rui was sleeping in an empty classroom (skipping his last class of the day) and when they wake up, they look outside the window and see the sun is setting so he decides to go up to the roof to watch before he starts walking back home
when she gets up to the roof, at first they don’t notice the presence of another, until he looks up and sees an angel perched upon the fence surrounding the roof. he just stares at her, taking in this sight, questioning if what they are seeing is really real, until the heavy door slams shut behind her, shattering the moment and alerting the other boy of his presence.
tsukasa turns around, eyes blown wide and immediately jumps off the roof and flies out of sight. rui is still dumb struck and can only think about how beautiful this person’s honey colored eyes and golden hair were.
fast forward to rui’s 2nd year of high school when someone among the student body catches his eye as very familiar looking. they immediately ignore this because “there’s no way that was real, right?”. only a little while later will he find himself quite intrigued by this person and eventually they will get asked to join his theater troupe.
so basically what happens is a tweaked version of the wxs main story in which rui keeps trying to convince herself that the memory of seeing tsukasa back in middle school was not real (i mean, tsukasa doesn’t seem to remember a thing, so surely it was just his imagination) and angels do not exist until he find out that angels are in fact very real and do in fact exist

miku would be able to survive a fight with goku and possibly beat him:
case a) magical girl/super hero
if we r basing this off miku’s characterization in any media including her she would very likely be incredibly strong/near invincible if referencing media like ayase’s HERO mv (defeated a monster in a single punch) or SAWTOWNE’s Magical Cure! Love Shot! mv (kills/knocks out a crowds worth of mini mikus with a miku-miku-beam).
i would also say that there is a chance for her to not alert goku into putting his guard up since in the latter example she states that shes in it to defend and help others. i interpret this as her fighting goku only until hes out of range of other people, then dipping to help anyone who got hurt. (i am not familiar with dbz nor any related content so take this with a grain of salt)
case b) hologram
if we r looking at her from her games, most if not all Project games before pjsk have no concrete story so im gonna overthink the 3dmvs. miku is playing through simulations from the hub so she could technically have a physical form in some but in all, is just simulating a presence. goku could kill her physical form, but she could just create a new form over and over. in something like disappearance shes already being deleted so gokus hits could land and kill her, land but she outlasts them and dies anyways, or his hits phase through her as shes being deleted.
in pjsk all virtual singers r basically immortal. now theres no evidence that they r fully immortal but we can infer that they atleast cannot age due to the intro tutorial saying that they are basically gods reaching out to earth through emotions. miku would not be able to die even if a physical altercation would cause her pain.
if we r looking at the different mikus and what they would do:
wxs could probably cause enough hijinks for goku to give up
niigo would be floored or run off since the sekai is, well, empty
leo/need could try to out smart and trap goku since the school is not infinite (theres an outside to the school no matter how big it is)
vbs could try to out smart him and hide in the city since it is infinite
mmj would do her best to not fight to protect her fans
Okay, I've been nerd sniped, I'm sorry
Tumblr media
NOTE: If you're going to reblog just to say "not reading that" or some other rude shit, DON'T. I've seen so many notifications of people just saying they couldn't be bothered to read it. I don't know if it's just that they don't see how incredibly rude and disheartening that is or if they know and don't care, but either way it really hurts to see, so please don't reblog if it's just to tell me you won't read it.
So let's go through the canonical likelihood they could each beat Goku. For the sake of keeping canon, we'll keep groups/pairs together if they would never reasonably be apart for something like this. Long post below the cut.
So first up are the ones I see that would, without a doubt, beat Goku.
Saiki K
Saiki is an omnipotent psychic/psionic with quite literally every single possible power out there. Now, this on its own isn't enough to beat Goku. Versatility doesn't mean everything, but Saiki is also powerful enough to rewrite the genetics and reality of everything within range, and his range is, so far, "Earth".
So this, on its own, would allow him to rewrite Goku's biology to make him Human. Bye bye zenkai boosts, bye bye Saiyan transformations. And Saiki, with his powers, has no trouble beating a Human of any caliber if he truly wanted to. And for those who ask "Why would he ever fight Goku?"
One simple reason: Goku would sense his immense power, and be excited for a fight. Goku is respectful enough to not force one if he's refused, but he's persistent enough to badger Saiki until he's given a chance. And Saiki, being Saiki, would simply take off one of his limiters, or both, and rewrite reality as such: "Being an alien isn't possible", thereby making it effective immediately that Goku must be lying/insane, and he is, in fact, Human. Easy win for Saiki.
And for those who would argue against this, bear in mind, the funniest way to beat Goku in this instance would be to simply make him weaker than Saiki, and Saiki is a gag character from a gag series, and it's already been shown in the world of Dragon Ball, and again in Dragon Ball Super, that Goku is incapable of defeating a gag character regardless of that characters canonical ability.
Saiki could win without gag character status, but even in the instance of Goku "beating" him, the gag would turn out to be that Saiki only pretended to get beaten, and is actually entirely unharmed because it was the easiest way to get Goku to leave him alone. Followed by a reveal that Goku will still show up now and then to ask for sparring matches, to drive the point home.
Popeye
Gag character. Would get beaten handily, crawl his way to spinach, and then be exactly as strong as he needs to be to take Goku down in however many hits is funniest.
Bugs Bunny
The gag character to end all gag characters. Someone on this hellsite once described Bugs as a "Trickster God who traps us in our own societal expectations" or some such. Like convincing Thanos to remove the Infinity Gauntlet by establishing a security checkpoint with a metal detector and shaming him into cooperating by telling him there's others waiting.
He could beat Goku in a billion ways, and each and every one of them would involve some shenanigan like Goku throwing a spirit bomb, Bugs showing up behind him holding it, saying "Ehhh, can you hold this for a second?" and as soon as Goku takes it and Bugs is off-screen, it would explode and Goku would be a pile of ashes with blinking eyes. Bugs would win because Bugs' gag is that...well, he simply can't be beaten.
The Warner Trio
Gag trio. Yakko, Wakko, and Dot would snark, sass, and sarcastic-joke their way into the scene, and they would spend the entire time poking fun at him, roasting his look, being unfazed by his attacks because "Nice laser show but we didn't bring our glowsticks." and just being too unbothered to care.
They would undoubtedly annoy Goku into admitting defeat simply to get away from them.
Road Runner
Gag character. Would force Goku to chase him, Goku would fire some blasts, chase him around, and inevitably be led right into the path of a blast he fired earlier to be disintegrated by it.
Pop Team Epic
I know nothing about this series except that it is a gag series. They are gag characters. That means Goku is inherently incapable of beating them.
ASDF Guy
Gag character. Could beat Goku with a simple "Hello, Mine-Turtle!" or "I like Trains."
Heart Diagram
Goku was literally killed by a heart virus in Future Trunks' timeline. This is one that has actually canonically already killed Goku.
Chowder
Gag character. Would likely be after S-Cells for some recipe and need to take Goku's as he's "The only Saiyan in this episode!" or some such, thereby ending the fight with a shot of Chowder wearing Goku's Gi for comedic effect while Dahl stirs raw Super Saiyan aura in a pot to hint that Chowder killed Goku for his S-Cells.
Force Ghost Trio
Gag versions of serious characters, and also ghosts. Goku is canonically unable to beat ghosts or gag characters, and these guys are both.
Those are the ones that would, without a doubt, beat Goku.
Now, let's go over the ones that could, potentially, be it likely or unlikely.
Kirby
Kirby is often considered a gag character, but he isn't. He has a very specific level of power, even if that level of power is "fuck you" levels of power. Kirby has beaten Gods, but so has Goku, even more often and with greater ease. However, Kirby has absorption and power-theft. Kirby could, potentially, absorb Goku (he isn't the brightest and Kirby has his unassuming appearance on his side) and take on his strongest form, including its powerup, and given Kirby in base form is likely more powerful than Goku in base form (Goku needed SSJ to scare Supreme Kai, Kirby beats Gods in base), it's possible Kirby would be more powerful than Goku with the same power up.
Kevin McCallister
Okay, hear me out.
Kevin is technically a gag character, BUT. He is not TRULY a gag character. He just happens to be a comedy character.
So he isn't guaranteed to win, but he could still possibly do so. How you ask?
Goku has been somewhat injured or lightly shaken by the following: planet-shattering attacks. Punches that rock the universe. Energy blasts so potent they would destroy entire galaxies.
Goku has been rendered inconsolable from the pain of the following: chest pain and a half-heartedly, boredly tossed pebble.
It is canon that when Goku and the other fighters in the series are expecting an attack or primed for battle, they are protected by their ki, like armor. It's how they're able to knock away attacks that would destroy planets, or put their "bare" hands on plasma energy that would normally burn the skin off you from a mile away let alone touching it.
This is why when Krillin threw the rock at Goku, it left him in agony and bruised him despite Goku being in Super Saiyan form at the time. This is why Chi-Chi is able to injure Goku regardless of how strong he gets.
So, how does this relate to Kevin being able to beat him? It's everything. It's critical information.
Kevin McCallister's entire M.O. is unexpected attacks. You open a door, you see a bucket fall, think it's over, turns out no, second bucket pulled by the first, second bucket is full of paint and open, you're blinded, you get your bearings, you take a step and feel cars, you smirk and step over them only to find marbles, you slip, you land on the cars which turn out to have been rigged to break easier to let loose a single thumbtack which is now firmly stuck in your back or butt. You bolt upright only to slam your head on a 2x4 that was rigged to hang down from a rope when you fell because your impact shook things enough to make it fall from a precarious perch above.
You get the idea. Every time you think it's safe to let your guard down, that's when the next wave hits. So you say "well he would stop letting his guard down" right? You fool. You know nothing of Goku. He would never put his guard UP. This is a human child, Goku can sense his pitiful power level. His strength? His speed? His ki? Weak. Pathetic. Nothing. A scouter wouldn't even register his power it's so low.
Goku never raises his guard to Chi-Chi, or to Bulma, or to Hercule. He does not raise his defense against normal, powerless, non-combative humans.
"BUT KEVIN IS COMBATIVE" No. He isn't. Goku can sense intent, power, and location. But Kevin isn't actively intending to hurt Goku. He's intending to protect himself and his home. He's not actively wanting to hurt Goku, he's just wanting Goku to leave. He doesn't have power to threaten Goku with, so Goku won't pick up on any threatening aura. And while Goku could simply instant transmission to Kevin and do what he will, we're not talking about how Goku could win, we're going over the fact Kevin could POSSIBLY win.
Enough injury and Goku is down for the count. Otherwise, Goku leaves to avoid further injury, and thereby admits defeat. Both cases, Kevin wins.
Shedinja
This one took me...quite a while. I had to do a lot of extra research for this. So, my immediate thought was Shedinja is a Ghost type, so ghost rules, right? Nah. Bug and Ghost type, and they are the physical shell left behind that has been reanimated. So they very much are physical beings, and given their ability to faint in the games and show they are capable of being physically damaged.
But There's a real case to be made for Shedinja beating Goku.
It can learn Ghost type moves, which operate on ghost-logic, and therefore are a canon weakness Goku is known to have. So things like Shadow Ball, Hex, Curse, and the like would all effect Goku regardless of Ki or form.
It also has access to Wonder Guard, which renders it "immune to all damage types that are not Super-Effective". For those unaware, we can actually attribute Typings to Goku's moves based on attributes and traits they share with Pokemon moves. His melee is, by nature, Fighting type, which Shedinja is immune to. In fact, Shedinja is immune to ALL attack types except Flying, Rock, Ghost, Dark, and Fire type moves, which are all Super Effective.
Goku's most common methods would actually fall under Fighting and Normal type attacks. "But his Ki blasts-" would be Normal type moves. You want proof?
Focus Energy is Normal Type. Quick Attack is Normal Type. Self Destruct is Normal Type. Techno Blast is Normal Type. Tera Blast is Normal Type. These are all energy based moves similar to ki blasts. Know what other energy based move is Normal Type? Hyperbeam. Which is almost identical to the Kamehameha and every other beam attack in DBZ.
Those few attacks Goku has that aren't going to be Normal Type will be Fighting Type.
Shedinja is Immune to all Normal and Fighting Type moves. Goku literally can not damage Shedinja, but Shedinja can damage Goku through Ghost Type moves. Shedinja can beat Goku. But why is it not "absolutely will" beat him? Because Goku can also transform his Ki and if he finds out Shedinja is vulnerable to fire, he can and will use that to his advantage.
That's who could potentially beat Goku. Here's who absolutely could not.
Saitama
I forgot to go over Saitama originally so here's the edit that features that analysis. Bear in mind I am saying this as someone who has seen Seasons 1 and 2 of the show AND is aware of some of the events of the manga.
A lot of reblogs over Saitama claim he is a gag character. But there is a case to be made that he is NOT. What is that case you ask? Well, for the sake of fairness, here is how I am handling gag characters: if their gag is in effect in 100% of all cases (such as looney tunes like Bugs or Road Runner) or if the gag is triggered in 100% of all cases (such as Saiki K or Chowder) then they are a True Gag Character and will insta-win.
However, if their gag has failed (such as Wario, or, yes, even Saitama) in ANY case, then it CAN fail again, and the fairest fight is one against two non-gag characters, so we can safely apply non-gag Saitama here since his gag has failed and Goku meets the conditions to cause it to fail again, which I'll explain.
So, first off, how does his gag fail? Well, his gag is that he kills everything instantly in one hit, unless he actively chooses not to. So we can safely say his gag fails if any of the following are true: he fails to instantly kill an enemy with a single hit while intending to do so, OR if he fails to kill an enemy with a serious hit intended to kill.
He meets both of these conditions. Boros survived for several seconds AFTER Saitama hit him with a Serious Punch. It was a single hit that intended to kill...But he didn't kill Boros INSTANTLY with it. Another example of his gag failing, if that doesn't satisfy, is Garou. Garou, in the manga, has survived MULTIPLE Serious Punches with intent to kill. This, on its own, is proof Saitama's Serious Punch does in fact have a limit to its output. It also proves his gag can, and does, fail against certain opponents.
So the next thing we need to look at is similarities between Garou and Boros to identify what they share that could possibly allow them to get around Saitama's gag, or to nullify it entirely. First similarity is that both are determined to have a good, satisfying fight. Boros crossed the stars seeking one, and Garou sought to become a true Monster powerful enough to force every hero, every do-gooder, to unite under one banner just to take him down. They both seek a battle to end all battles, even if Garou's intention is to end it in his favor, not simply enjoy the fight.
The second similarity is that they have incredibly unique circumstances, even by OPM standards. Garou is a man who has always felt love for the bad guy, he looks to the monsters as inspirations, as the misunderstood and the victimized by those claiming to be heroes. He's trained by an S-Class hero, and has developed into a being of unimaginable power in the pursuit of his dream. Very much a true foil to Saitama, who looked to heroes in comics as inspirations, as the righteous and unshakably moral, self-taught through and through and developed into a being of unimaginable power in the pursuit of HIS dream. Garou is, in this way, a reflection of Saitama, the Tails to Saitama's Heads, the dark to his light.
Boros on the other hand is an alien, forced to become strong by his homeworld's unforgiving conditions, developing a level of power necessary to survive and then some, and on realizing he was far too powerful for his own good, he sought purpose, meaning, and when he heard he may find a worthy opponent, he did everything he could to achieve that future, to realize his dream of facing a foe that would give him a true challenge.
So what are the similarities we can identify? Notably unique circumstances even by OPM standards, sharing strong similarities to Saitama's desires or dreams (Garou dreaming of becoming the greatest Monster vs Saitama dreaming of becoming the greatest Hero, Boros feeling lost in life and seeking a worthy foe vs Saitama feeling bored with living and wishing for the sensation of a real fight again), and the desire for a serious and ultimate battle.
Goku fits ALL of these conditions. He is an alien sent to Earth for his protection, grew up in hostile conditions (surviving on his own for most of his childhood, constant battles with Nation-level threats throughout his teen years, constant battles with world or universe-level threats throughout his adulthood), trained extensively until he was the best of the best, has the ultimate dream of a truly satisfying battle (a dream he routinely seeks out by facing down powerful foes), and being entirely bored with mundane life because there's absolutely no challenge to it, not to mention the fact he has the ultimate dream of becoming the strongest, something he shares with Saitama's pre-OPM self.
Since Goku fits ALL the conditions needed to make this battle exempt from the gag, we will NOT be considering it, as Saitama is not a True Gag Character, and Goku fitting conditions for nullifying it means we can assume actual power limits and such.
So let's look at feats of power. Saitama's Serious Side Hop technique allowed him to create AT LEAST 60 after-images (based on the manga panel) which, when compared with Sonic's 4, means Saitama was moving 15x faster than Sonic in that moment (bare minimum). An afterimage like that is created by moving at least 572mph, stopping in each position for at least 1/255th of a second (any less and the human eye can't pick up on it), so by moving from position A to B for 1/255th of a second and back to A, going 572mph between the two, you create the afterimage.
Sonic creates 4 simultaneously, meaning he needs to move to 3 positions and then back to starting position, or go from A to B, B to A, A to C, C to A, A to D, and repeat.
This means Sonic, to move into each of these positions in less than 1/255th of a second, would need to be moving ~4x faster than the speed for one afterimage. That puts him as moving at 2,228mph while creating those 4 afterimages. Given he is capable of Mach 5 speeds (he's said to be hypersonic) this feat is easy for him, as Mach 5 is 3,805mph. I assume, just as it's easier to move at top speed in a straight line than at sharp turns for a normal person, it's likely more difficult to create such consistent afterimages and so the difficulty that makes it his best attack is from the technique and reaction involved, not the speed itself.
In any case, if Saitama made at least 60 afterimages, putting him at 15x faster than Sonic's speed while creating 4, that puts Saitama's speed at 33,420mph just to account for the 60 we can count in the manga panel. This means 33,420 is the MINIMUM speed we can assume for Saitama's max ability. To be generous, given he wasn't winded after doing that and given he was able to react incredibly easily to the near-instant directional changes, I'll be kind and put his maximum speed at 10,000x this number.
That puts Saitama's speed at 334,200,000mph, or 49.8% the speed of light. We'll be kind again and say 50% the speed of light, round up that last .2%
So we have a speed value for Saitama. Now what about Goku? Well, let's look at Goku on Namek, for a moment. Base form Goku, at the start of his fight against Freeza. Goku, BEFORE his super saiyan transformation, was moving at 3.26 (we'll round down to 3) times the speed of light. How do I get this number? Buckle up, it's involved.
The Namekian ship Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan took to get to Namek made it from Earth to Jupiter in "seconds". That means less than a minute, so we'll say it took them 1 minute just to lowball it and to have a solid starting number. Jupiter, when the two planets are at their closest to each other (assuming shorter distance for slower speed, another lowball), is 365,000,000 miles from Earth. This means the Namekian ship moved 365mil miles in 1 minute.
That puts the Namekian ship at a speed of 21.9 billion miles per hour. They made it to Namek in 30 days of travel. The ship Goku took to Namek made the trip in 5 days. That means Goku's ship is 6 times faster than the Namekian ship. Don't worry, the ship speed DOES matter in this, I promise you.
So Goku's ship moves at 131,400,000,000mph. That's 131 billion, 400 million miles per hour. Or 195x the speed of light.
Why does the ship speed matter so much, you might ask?
Because King Kai could visually keep up with the ship. He was able to track Goku's progress with ease, and could see his ships movements without problems. This means King Kai's eyes and brain are capable of perceiving and processing things that move at 195x the speed of light.
Why does that matter? Because Super Saiyan is canonically a 50x multiplier to ALL base ability. Strength, speed, durability, etc.
And Goku, in Super Saiyan, was moving so fast King Kai stated he could no longer keep up. King Kai, capable of seeing and processing the input of vision on a ship moving 195x the speed of light, could not see or process the input of vision on Super Saiyan Goku.
We'll lowball it, and say Goku only needed to move 1 mph faster than 195x the speed of light for King Kai to lose track of him. So whatever value we get, we'll add 1mph to for Goku's base form speed.
So 195x the speed of light +1mph. 195/50=3.9x the speed of light. That's 2,616,900,000mph, adding in the extra mph makes it 2,616,900,001mph. So Base Form Goku moves at ~3.9x the speed of light, ON NAMEK. Super Saiyan is a 50x multiplier, putting him at ~195x the speed of light. Super Saiyan 2 is a 100x multiplier to Base, so 390x the speed of light. Super Saiyan 3 is a 400x multiplier, so 1,560x the speed of light. Super Saiyan God is a 20,000 multiplier so 78,000x the speed of light. Super Saiyan Blue is a 1 million times multiplier, so 3,900,000x the speed of light. And lastly, Mastered Ultra Instinct is a 300 billion times multipler, so 1.17 trillion times the speed of light.
Why did I bother going through all those multipliers? He wins in Base as of Namek saga lol. Anyway, continuing on to strength now that we've established Base Goku on Namek could move 3.9x faster than the Speed of Light while Saitama could only move at 0.5x the Speed of Light.
Strength. Okay. This one is harder to gauge, but we CAN gauge it. We'll go in terms of level of damage, so human level (would be on-par or less than peak human ability), town level (small towns), city level (large cities), nation level (an entire nation, less than a continent), continent level (one or more nations that span an entire continent), world-surface level (the surface of an Earth-sized planet), Planetary (capable of destroying an entire Earth-sized planet), Solar (capable of destroying a solar system), Galactic (capable of destroying a galaxy), multi-galactic (capable of destroying many galaxies), Universal (capable of destroying an entire universe), Multiversal (capable of destroying multiple universes).
We'll start with Goku this time. Goku's punches are, as of the Battle of Gods arc, strong enough to match Beerus perfectly to nullify the shockwaves of Beerus' attacks. Mind you, the mere shockwave of Beerus' attacks are enough to rip and tear the fabric of the universe itself, as stated by Elder Kai. This puts Goku's punches as being powerful enough to tear the fabric of the universe in when he first obtained Super Saiyan God. Why does this matter for Base Goku? Because Base Goku retained his SSJG power, as stated by Beerus.
So Goku in Base, post-battle of gods, is physically capable of punches that can tear apart the universe from the aftershocks alone. This is important to note because Elder Kai could physically feel the shockwaves from the World of the Kais. This makes Goku Universe-level in strength. This means Goku, post-BoG, in Super Saiyan is 50x stronger than what's needed for Universal, while Goku, as of current manga canon (assuming he didn't actually get any stronger since BoG and is simply more powerful due to new transformations) is capable of a form (Mastered Ultra Instinct) that puts him 300 billion times stronger than minimum Universe level strength.
And Saitama? Where does he fit here? Well, I thought this gap would be bigger honestly? But after researching, it seems the gap isn't all that big. Saitama has, canonically, with a Serious Punch, snuffed out an entire cylinder of stars and presumably every planet, moon, asteroid, and more, at a distance surpassing that of our solar system, and with a diameter surpassing it as well. This puts Saitama's power (if we lowball it MASSIVELY) at Solar. He could, in a single punch, destroy our entire solar system, and he wouldn't even need to be serious to do it. It's worth noting this is coupled with Garou's own Saitama-level Serious Punch, so we can assume this level of power is double Saitama's own.
So how do we determine the specifics? Well, he cleared an area large enough to cover, presumably, half the area of stars destroyed in the path of his and Garou's serious punches.
Through future revelations in the series we learn they didn't "destroy" every star in that path, but likely only several were destroyed, and possibly a galaxy, while the remainder of the void left behind was from the shockwave forcing every other star within range into a new position, creating a void in space that all stars had been moved from, save the few that were in the DIRECT path of their attack.
Another theory is that the Serious Punch^2 simply distorted the photons in the area, resulting in the appearance of a massive void, and this theory is based on the angles in the manga and comments made by other characters that paint Earth as the only thing in real danger from the power of the attack.
To be fair to Saitama, where we would lowball Goku, we'll highball Saitama, and say the Serious Punch^2 outright destroyed every star in the area. That level of power would, naturally, have shockwaves that push nearby stars out of the way AND distort photons in the area, resulting in a massive cone of destruction surrounded by a large cylinder of force.
This puts Saitama at, quite easily, multi-galactic level of strength.
But why did I say this gap isn't as big as I expected? One simple thing. Saitama has canonically punched his way into a different dimension in the manga. That means he's capable of brute-forcing his way out of the bounds of his universe. He is capable of physically destroying the fabric of the universe.
Meaning Saitama's strength is, bare minimum, Universal in close proximity. That puts him, strength-wise, on par with Goku, who through training has become stronger than Super Buu (who was so strong he could shout his way out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a dimension separate from our own), meaning Goku is also Universal in close proximity.
So...while I expected Saitama to be ~Planetary, MAYBE he'd be Solar at most...Research indicates he's actually Universal, or near-Universal, meaning the fight may not be too far a gap after all.
Goku may have Saitama beat on speed (given recent manga events in OPM, I'm willing to allow that Saitama is faster than light speed, but Goku having as many forms as he does (Kaioken, which he can combine with other forms and can hit a multiplier of x100 on top of whatever power he currently has, SSJ1-3, SSJG, SSJB, MUI) means even if Saitama matches Base Goku, he's likely not going to stand up to his stronger forms).
But on strength, I'd wager they're close enough for this fight to be one hell of a battle.
What about Durability? After all, all the strength in the world won't save you if you're as easy to kill as a simple bullet to the head, right?
Goku has withstood universe-ripping punches (from Beerus, the God of Destruction, and based on comments in the manga he's one of the stronger Gods of Destruction too), dimension-tearing attacks (from Goku Black, pre-Fusion), energy blasts that even the Gods of Destruction were nervous of (from Jiren during the Tournament of Power), and he survived multiple blasts from Granolah post-wish buff, who was renowned for his sniping power pre-wish, and post-wish was as powerful as he would be if he had spent every single second of the next 147 years training non-stop with the absolute healthiest amount of rest and physical care, making him, presently, as powerful as he would be at the END of that time, with the price paid being that he only had 3 years to live as he lost 1 year of his lifespan for each power boost.
It was also clear that Granolah was the strongest in the universe...at the time of his wish. Goku and Vegeta, who were already on their way, were not as powerful as Granolah even with their transformations. They became stronger during their fight with him, and stronger still during their fight with Gas (who was more powerful than Granolah after Gas transformed and mastered his transformation).
So we can safely assume Goku is Multiversal in Durability, as he himself was able to output Universal damage with each punch, and he was able to survive hits from beings drastically stronger than himself.
What about Saitama? Well, Saitama was able to survive the force of the Serious Punch^2 and he was able to casually bust his way into another dimension. So his Serious Punch, if he wanted it to, could easily destroy the barrier between universes or dimensions.
And given he survived the force of two of them impacting each other, I would put Saitama at, bare minimum, Universe-level durability. But given he was able to survive prolonged battle against Garou, who is a Power Mimic and has shown Saitama-level strength, we can safely assume Saitama is BEYOND Universal-level durability, and so we can put him right there with Goku at Multiversal durability.
So what do we have so far?
Goku has speed equal to, in Base Form, 3.9x lightspeed, and 1.17 trillion times lightspeed in his most powerful form.
Goku has Universal level strength in Base Form, 300 billion times that in his most powerful form.
Goku has Universal durability in Base Form, Multiversal durability in his most powerful form (300 billion times his Base Form's durability).
Saitama has speed equal to, at minimum, 0.5x lightspeed, and at maximum, if we highball it, 2x lightspeed.
Saitama has Universal strength.
Saitama has Universal durability at minimum, and Multiversal durability at maximum.
At this point, I'm convinced the speed difference between Base Goku and Saitama means nothing. Saitama's durability means even with Base Goku moving at his top speed, his impacts won't be enough to beat Saitama. At top speed Base Goku may be putting out Universal damage, but he's not putting out enough to actually BEAT Saitama. Only injure.
Making me rethink my "Goku wins in Base lol" claim earlier, how dare you!
Anyway, at this point, Goku would HAVE to transform to beat Saitama. His ability to sense power and Saitama's evident inability to suppress it (as evidenced by multiple characters sensing his ungodly power even while Saitama is completely relaxed) would mean Goku would know, right away, he needs to transform for the fight.
Saitama's durability means Goku would likely need Super Saiyan 2 or 3, or, more likely, SSJG. Super Saiyan God's multiplier to Granolah-arc Goku, after all of his training with Whis and Vegeta, would most likely be enough to beat Saitama. And given SSJG is enough to "most likely" beat him, then Super Saiyan Blue (aka Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, the form above SSJG) is surely enough, and Mastered Ultra Instinct (a form drastically more powerful than SSJB) is absolutely more than enough to beat Saitama.
And given Goku's mastery over the Kaioken technique, and he's been shown to enter Kaioken x 20 while in Super Saiyan Blue for fair amounts of time as of the Moro saga, meaning even if SSB wasn't enough, given MUI is overkill, it's possible SSB x10 or x20 would be.
The point being, Goku wins this fight due to a combination of technique, experience, and power from his transformations. Given Goku is faster than Saitama and would sense his power as Saitama doesn't know how to suppress it, nothing Saitama could do would be a surprise attack to Goku, meaning Goku would have ample opportunity to react to everything Saitama does.
And given the relatively similar strengths the two bear, Goku would recognize he needs to transform to beat Saitama's output.
And given Saitama's greater durability than Base Goku, and greater durability than even what Saitama himself can put out, Goku would see he needs to transform to have enough of his own output to beat Saitama's durability.
Conclusion: Goku would absolutely win this fight, BUT...I'll give Saitama credit where it's due.
Out of everyone on the entire list, Saitama is the fairest matchup here, and the one most likely to give Goku a truly satisfying fight, given it would be a battle on par with those Goku has enjoyed most.
Kingdom Hearts Mickey
K.H. Mickey has a clear power limit and ability set. He is not strong enough, fast enough, smart enough, or durable enough to beat Goku, but he is just enough of a threat for Goku to actually put his guard up, which is why K.H. Mickey would lose; Goku would see it as a fight, unlike with Kevin.
Crash Bandicoot
Crash isn't nearly powerful enough to be a threat to Goku, but he IS insane enough to push Goku to hostility. Goku would feel the need to put effort into getting him away and that is his downfall.
Hatsune Miku
Goku would assume she is a Red Ribbon android and fight her on assumption she's trying to kill him or bring harm to Earth. He would hit her full force expecting her to tank it and she would keel over dead instantly.
Wario
Everything he could possibly do, the Red Ribbon Army has tried and done better, and they've never beaten Goku. Neither would he.
Sans
Lost to a child with slightly above average human determination, and standard human strength and speed. He does not beat Goku.
And just because you specifically told me not to @ you, have this :)

Multifandom Persona, Project Sekai, Omori request
heyaaa!! I’m looking for either a Persona 3 or 5 RP, a Project Sekai RP, or an OMORI RP on discord!
for Persona 3, I’m mainly looking for a story based RP plot, one idea I had in mind is a plot where Makoto actually listens to Strega and it affects the rest of the story. For P3R I’m most confident in RPING Makoto / Kotone, Yukari and Aigis. I can still do Akihiko, Mitsuru, Junpei and Ken
Favorite P3R ships are Makoto x Yukari and Akihiko x Mitsuru, others are negotiable and welcome!
For Persona 5 spoiler alert I did not finish it and am up to September 26th, but can still do RP with P5! I don’t have a plot for P5 rn but we can discuss that! Characters I feel most confident in is Ren, Futaba, Makoto Nijima. I can still do Ryuji, Ann, Morgana (why), and Yusuke.
Favorite P5 Ships is Ren x Kasumi yoshizawa and Ren x Makoto Nijima. Other ships are negotiable and welcome.
Next up is Project Sekai
I’m new to PJSK so I don’t really have a set plot for this. I feel most confident in using Nene, Toya, Akito, Tsukasa and Mizuki. Other characters from units WxS, VBS and maybe nightcord I can also use!
I don’t have have any favorite ships here lol but most ships are negotiable and welcome
lastly is OMORI!
this is the one I’m most keen about for AU’s,I feel most confident in using Mikhael Baker, Cris, Pretty Boy, Sunny, and Mincy, but I can also use Aevery other faraway character as well.
favorite ships is Kel x Cris, Sunny x Aubrey, Hero x Mari and Cris x Mincy. Other ships are negotiable and welcome
like the post or write a comment if interested!!
any literacy is allowed!

🚨🚨good opinion alert!!!good opinion alert!!!🚨🚨
Thank you… I’m glad I passed peer review. wouldn’t it be embarrassing if I spent so much time reading every wxs event/mixed focus a wxs member is in/wxs member card story/card story where a wxs member has a cameo/etc and thinking about them and talking about them only to have horrible takes.
