"You still can't carry me," Andrew said. Neil chirped.
"Carry," it said. Andrew heaved a breath.
"You know what? Fine. But if you sting me too much I'm not doing it."
Neil seemed pleased as Andrew let himself drift down, hesitating before he touched Neil's skin. This was foreign. He'd never slept on anyone's chest before, but he wouldn't be able to hang onto Neil in his sleep. Not like he could Aaron. So Neil would have to hang onto him.
Its skin was only a little textured, mostly slippery soft under Andrew's. The bell especially was pillowy and giving, doing almost nothing to support Andrew's tail but it was something. Neil's body held up Andrew's with only a little sinking. Its arms wrapped around Andrew's shoulders as Andrew linked his own around Neil's middle. Neil's claws pressed lightly against his back. Carefully, Andrew rested his head high on Neil's chest and felt its heartbeat under his cheek.
It must not have been a long sleep, but Andrew never once was jolted from it. He didn't feel vaguely panicky like he did when he slept on his own. He slept soundly through the time Neil gave him, and when Neil chirped to wake him, Andrew felt a little better.

As Hagrid said, "Better out than in" 🧵 First, last and always, thank you to everyone who did something. Whether you knocked on doors, registered voters, texted, sent postcards, educated your circles, called out disinformation, and voted. WE DID NOT FAIL. We were failed 1/
2/ by the same things that have failed to let America live up to its ideals and the words that were once credible to the world. They are no longer. To the world or to me. I'm done trying to educate the ineducable. I no longer trust any white people I don't already know
3/ and any I do know who become Good Germans in appeasing what's to come and silence is appeasement. To the reported 20% of Black men and the Latino men who helped put Trump back in the WH, there is no sympathy from me when he comes for you. That goes thrice as
4/ much for the white women who did. You don't care about yourselves, your daughters, your sisters, cousins, friends and sure as fuck, not non-white people, especially non-white women who confront the misogny all women deal with plus the racism. Including and most
5/ profoundly from you as you choose to preserve your place on a pedestal that will be smashed from under you. My strength is fueled by the fact that you are too weak to deal with it so get what you get and I don't give a gnat's fart. Screw your vapid and hollow
6/ symbolic cosplay marches. Save your #notallww bullshit. Again, if I don't already know and trust you don't ask me to. Been there. Did that in 2016. Told you in 2020 and since what would happen. But no, I heard "not this one"..."not all WW" well, just like when
7/ children get asked "Who ate all the cookies", I'm over "Wasn't me" when you had the numbers to make a difference and here we are. Too many of you lied in our faces 'cause...somebody did. My grandmother, who lived unde segregation and discrimination both of race and gender
It was never Joe’s age. It was never Harris’s policies. It is America. far too many Americans are happy with trumpism For everyone that worked double time for Harris-Walz!! Bravo! There is really nothing more you could’ve done. America simply wants the dictator. Maybe Maybe the House should go Republican after all. Let Trump and the GOP own whatever they’re about to do. I’m tired of Democrats trying to save the country and getting nothing in return. America asked for this, so have at it.
8/ and lived in fear from 2016 to 2020 will more than likely die under the next Trump Admin. She's weathered aging and health challenges and life...I'm not sure she's going to weather this at almost 85 years old and living on the Social Security and pensions made
9/ smaller than they should be because of discrimination that was normal for most of her lifetime. You get what you vote for. Don't cry when you get it. When loved ones and people you know are deported, IDGAF how you feel. When the economy struggles and we are
10/ further ruled by oligarchs like Musk, and you struggle? IDGAF how you feel. When your daughters die from lack of treatment of miscarriages? IDGAF how you feel. When those Black men who thought they were going to eat voting for Trump
11/ are profiled and harmed? IDGAF how you feel. There were Germans who never thought Hitler would go as far as he did. There were German Jews who thought they were Germans first. We are supposed to learn from history so we don't repeat it. You failed the class. in four years, regardless if trump leaves for the final time, we’re forever defined by the same way the Germans are forever defined by Hitler dictatorship: people didn’t stop him before he had the chance to nearly or completely this country.
12/ And in so doing, you failed the rest of us. So when we shrug, point, mock, and ask "WTF did you expect?" don't get sudden amnesia or act brand new. We'll regroup. Black women are an actual sisterhood. Those who truly love and support us and each other will do as we've done.
13/13 We'll collaborate. We'll remain a coalition. We will take care of each other. You told us we were on our own and on our own we will be. Y'all can figure things out or go screw. Makes no nevermind to me. You got what you voted for. If the country suffers it’s your fault. It would be a miracle if there’s any election afterwords. Until then yall need to Fucking deal. Oh and boo frucking hoo!
1776 - 2024 I’m afraid that unless there’s any hope left The American democratic republic experiment is over. 248 years.

Ok math really isn’t my strongest subject but I don’t think the population is 6000. JKR said it was around 3000, and after doing some calculations that seems about right. If there is 8 students in Harry’s Gryffindor year and we use that as the basis for calculating (actually let’s round it up to 10 to be safe). 10 x 4 (4 houses) = 40, 40 x 7 (7 years) = 280, 40 x 11 (each number in 11 representing a year of the children who are not in hogwarts yet) = 440, 440 + 280 = 720, so there are around 720 children in the wizarding world UK (and that’s probably overestimating). In the UK people under 18 represent around 20(ish)% of the population if we apply that to the WW then 720 is 20% of 3600. We can adjust for the fact that wizards seem to live a bit longer due to magic probably improving their health, so I’d say the population is around 4000 ish.
I agree with you on the estimated number of children under 18, being in the realms of 700-800. The thing is, I don't think the precantage of 20% in the UK would apply to the WW.
Firstly, that percentage is true for 2024. As the books take place in the 1990s, we should use the precatage of around 24% children under 18 in the UK, from 1992, for example, to get a more accurate picture.
But even then, I don't think it's the right way to calculate the WW population for the other reasons:
Secondly, wizards have a longer life expectancy than muggles. It was stated that wizards, on average, live to the age of 130, which means they have a higher precantage of elderly than in the muggle world. It means that the age distribution of the population across society will be different for them because there are age ranges that don't exist in any substantial way in the muggle calculations. That's why I made the number higher, since we have a lot more old people than in the muggle UK.
Thirdly, death and birth rates. The Wizarding World wouldn't follow the same birth and death rates as the muggle world, again, changing these percentages.
Wars affect the birth rates, for example, and could go either towards a baby boom, like after WWII, or to a lack of children, depending on the society. Considering how many only children we see at Hogwarts in Harry's time, it's likely the latter. I think Harry's generation that was born during the war, and the few years, immediately after, are among the smaller ones in the WW, so there are less children than in some former generations.
(The Weasleys do have more children, but they seem to be the exception rather than the common practice)
We see this change in birth rates by looking at the Black family tree, for example. Phineas Nigellus Black had 4 siblings and 5 children, and his children had at least 3 children each. The next generations continue to have at least 2 children. Then Voldemort’s war hits, and Lucius and Narcissa only have one child. So, the recent wars seemed to have lowered the birth rates.
As for the death rates, the wars with Voldemort had a hand here, but if we look at Harry's time at Hogwarts, Voldemort’s first war didn't actually kill that many people. So the more interesting death rates would be disease, accidents, and injuries, basically any death that isn't natural.
As wizards can fix most of illnesses and injuries with magic, their death rates would be lower than in the muggle world. This, again, adds more older people and changes the percentages you mentioned.
These are mostly the reasons why I had the estimated number closer to 6000. Because children under 18 are just a much smaller portion of the wizarding population than the muggle one.

Speculation and general talk about the upcoming episodes (HZ064 and HZ065)!
For information, the title for HZ064 is "Mount Napper, the Creeping Shadow" and the title for HZ065 is "Liko and Amethio". Currently (at the time I am writing these lines), there are no available summaries or staff list for these episodes, so I'll just talk about random stuff that comes to mind that I'm trying to connect to what could happen or what direction I think the writers could take.
For starters, I am a bit giddy over the title for HZ065 because I thought several times "wow, wouldn't it be neat if we had an episode title that was just 'Liko and Amethio' someday" but brushed off the idea ww Only for the writers to go "we'll give you what you want, actually", so thank you for this at whoever who decided to make this happen. I've had a "Liko and Amethio" tag on here for a while and now it actually turns out to be an episode title! And it feels a bit special to just have the names of the characters with nothing else in the title, it really emphasizes the focus on them both or their connection... I don't remember it happening much in the anime! Usually, when we have the names of two characters, it's a "VS" episode (a battle), or they add other words in the title. Anyway, it's neat. AmeLiko brain go brrr etc.
For the staff list: I expect this episode to be written by either Kureha Matsuzawa (script coordinator) or Dai Sato (main writer). If it's an Amethio episode, I think it'll involve these writers... Last time Dai Sato was on the screenplay for an episode, it was HZ046. Kureha Matsuzawa's most recent episode was HZ057.
In terms of episode numbers etc, I think going forward we can expect a gap of roughly ten episodes between Amethio's appearances? It's been pretty consistent so far. He appeared in the first six episodes of the series, and then there was a gap of 15 episodes before his next appearance which was HZ021 (but he was mentioned a few times by other characters). The show needed to introduce the other Explorers before making him come back (which happened between HZ012 and HZ016, which had Spinel appearing and then the other Explorers were revealed and talked). Chapter 2 had him appear at the beginning, then HZ034 and then a gap of roughly ten episodes and he showed up in the finale. Afterwards, his appearance was in HZ054 and now I expect him to show up in HZ064 (the title mentions a shadow creeping). So yeah, a gap of ten episodes sounds reasonable and can be expected going forward.
Again with episode numbers: so far, we've had "prominent" Liko and Amethio scenes in HZ025 (Liko and Amethio scene with Terapagos, though that one was mostly prominent at the end of HZ024), HZ045 (Liko thanking Amethio for saving her) and now HZ065. Twenty episodes between each of these scenes.
In terms of broadcast dates: September last year also had Amethio appearing after a while. More specifically, the first two episodes of September 2023 featured his return. HZ021 (aired September 8, 2023) being Liko bonding and capturing Mibrim and deciding what kind of trainer she wanted to be (Amethio showed up at the end of that episode), and HZ022 (aired September 15, 2023) had Friede vs Amethio in the Galar Mine and they ended up stuck together there. I think it would be funny if this time, Amethio gets stuck together with Liko one year (in broadcast time) after he got stuck in the Galar Mine with Friede. His dynamics with Friede and Liko are the ones I find most intriguing and compelling for his character (in terms of bonding with the heroes), so... more opportunities for interactions with them, please.
I mentioned here a while ago that I found Liko facing Grusha interesting given that his personality could be reminiscent of Amethio's on some level (the cold type of character), so I find the placement of episodes very interesting because Liko is going to meet Amethio right after she faces Grusha. I wonder if the similarities between them will be highlighted in the narrative itself, but even if they don't, the narrative choice/placement of episodes speak for themselves. Since Liko is going to learn about Grusha's past. This promo for HZ063 (translation here) shows that Liko and the others see Grusha as cold and harsh, but they will find out that he used to be smiling more in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case for Amethio in the past. We haven't really seen him smile so far, but I imagine that he was different when he was younger. Maybe? Maybe Liko will learn a bit more about Amethio as a person in HZ065, and her facing Grusha is planting the seeds for that. I think it would be nice if the current training arc and facing the gym leaders adds more to the Explorers side of things! They've done that a bit Sango and Onyx so far (letting us know more about their views on victory etc back in HZ055), so if Grusha is meant to parallel Amethio, it would be interesting.
This is just speculation, but I wonder if Liko is going to fail her implementation test in HZ063. In that case, either the rematch happens in HZ064 or it happens AFTER her meeting with Amethio. Which would be interesting. At the very least, for me, I find it compelling when characters face obstacles/walls and try to overcome them and Liko having to try again and face Grusha a second time could be good. Amethio has been a "prominent figure", figuratively, in Liko's path as a trainer (facing him being her motivation to grow stronger in HZ007, catching her first Pokemon and deciding what kind of trainer she wanted to be in HZ021 coinciding with his return, being motivated to learn Terastal after seeing Soublades in HZ045 etc). So if she fails her implementation test and meets Amethio in this specific context, I think it would be neat. Something about reaffirming her desire to grow stronger and be more helpful to everyone. And Amethio has faced the frustration of losing/failing before, so. (These are just ramblings at this point.)
Something, something about Liko bonding a bit more with Sango at the beginning of the arc (HZ047) and now having an opportunity to bond a bit more with Amethio towards the end of the arc. Sango is always relevant with me. Sango has been one of the closest Explorers to Liko so far, and I do consider her personal connection to Liko relevant to both their characters. This arc in general is showing us a bit more of Sango and Onyx and I think it shows us more their human and casual sides... I do think both of them are the closest to "friendship" with Liko and the others at this point. So I wonder if HZ065 will be an opportunity for the beginning of "friendship" between Liko and Amethio? I don't know. I think so far, Amethio feels more like "someone who can be an ally under the right circumstances" rather than "friend" and his setting as a character is different than, say, Sango and Onyx's so the expectations aren't the same. Like, his interactions with the group are more "formal" while characters like Sango and Onyx can argue about food with Liko and Roy (which is hilarious). Either way, I'm glad that we had Liko having one on one interactions with Sango at the beginning of the arc, and now potentially one on one interactions with Amethio. Liko is getting a bit closer to them.
Speaking of, I wonder if this episode will mostly feature one on one interactions between Liko and Amethio? The only time they got to interact without anyone around was at the beginning of the series... when Amethio was lying to her lmao. In between that, other characters were around usually. Their last interaction was Liko thanking Amethio and him telling her not to misunderstand his intentions in HZ045. I think it would be neat if they got to interact a bit more "privately" so we get a sense of how they are and how they would act in these specific circumstances. Liko grew a lot since the beginning of the series and I wonder how she would handle a potential situation where she is stuck together with an enemy(?) (not confirmed that this is what will happen, btw). Will Amethio call her by name? Or will it not be brought up because they will save him calling her by name for a special occasion? Will Liko get to interact with Amethio's Pokemon? How will Liko's Pokemon react to Amethio?
Also, what is Amethio doing in the snowy mountains? I assume that this is where him and Liko will be. Is he training? Will he help Liko train? Will he antagonize Liko? Will we see him with his usual outfit or will he be wearing something else like a coat? Is he spying on Spinel, still? Is he monitoring Liko and the others? That was mostly Sango, Onyx and Agate's mission. So maybe their meeting will be a coincidence.
HZ065 will be "Liko and Amethio". I think there will be four episodes left in this arc after that. New chapter will begin in October (because that's when seasonal anime start usually), and I still think HZ070 will be the beginning of chapter 4 (it needs to begin on a round number ww). Will he stick around until the end of the arc, or will he disappear for one episode or two and then show up again for the climax? Liko and the others should probably go back to school after they finish their tests, so maybe the climax will take place at school? Or somewhere else? We'll see.
Anyway, I think I covered most of what I think so far. This is exciting. I don't know what to expect!

WW Stamp of The Day #1
For my first ever Worldwide Stamp of The Day I selected one of my first ever stamps!
This is a used Japan 1940 Kirishima National Park stamp. I actually have this whole set and maybe as I continue this series you’ll get to see the rest! You can see that this stamp has been cancelled three times from receiving postmarks along the route it travelled when it was still attached to an envelope. Japanese stamps are one of the main focuses of my collection and this was one of the stamps that started it all!
It depicts a torii gate, which in Shinto marks the transition from between the average world and sacred spaces. This stamp was printed with the photogravure method in the colour scarlet. It was issued on 8/21/1940 with a print run of 350,000. There’re no variations.
I love this stamps because it exemplifies what I love about stamp collecting! It’s both a beautiful piece of art and reflects the history and culture of the country it’s from! Stamps are an extremely accessible way to collect art while learning more about the world too.
Catalogue #’s: Stamp Number JP 310, Stanley Gibbons JP 370, Sakura JP P27

ooo give the ww 2 book recs! ww 1 too if u want :3
Hey there, anon. Here are my recommendations. Unfortunately, these are only WW2 books, I couldn't find any on WW1.
↳ Once - Morris Gleitzman
Honestly, I feel like this is one of those books that just stick with you forever, it's what got me into starting to research WW2 and now here I am. The main character is a 10 year old Jewish boy in Poland called Felix, there's an entire series of this book following Once, so you really get to witness Felix grow over the years and sympathize with him. The entire series just hit so hard, man. I couldn't recommend this book any more than I already am, if you see this on the shelves, please buy it along with the other books of the series. It will always be my number one WW2 book to recommend.
↳ The boy in the striped pyjamas
You've most likely already heard of this book a hundred times over, but I loved this one. It's about an 8 year old German boy, Bruno who moves to Auschwitz and meets a Jewish boy, Schmuel. They form a meaningful friendship that stays until the end of the book that you will treasure yourself. It's extremely morbid and depressing to read, and the writing style I find is similar to 'Once' and it just sticks with you too. It's just got a ring to it that none of the other books on WW2 I have read have.
↳ Rabbit, Soldier, Angel, Thief
This book is actually set in Russia, about a six year old boy named Sasha and his experience with the German attacks on Russia and his town. Really amazing book, please check it out. It gives you some understanding of Russia's perspective during WW2
↳ 28 days
↳ The tattooist of Auschwitz

Look at this sassy pose. This man is not straight.
Tumblr media
I just wanna note that, even without Monev or E.G. AND counting Legato as one of the Gung-Ho Guns, this spread does NOT bring their number up to 12. Or even 11.
Midvalley sure is smiley....
Dude. Legato's messing with people's brains in a whole different way now, apparently. I mean, he sticks out in a crowd, so it's particularly weird that they don't remember him. Come to think of it, how did that little street girl notice him if others didn't? Did he just... let her to make his point?
LOL, WW offering to give Legato a message for Vash....
They've only known each other for a bit, and already they're standing back to back.
Tumblr media
Bye, Mr. Bondage Cross! I'm sure you, someone who featured on the cover of the volume, will not show up in any sort of meaningful way again in this entire series.
Vash seems suspicious.
Does... he smell Legato? I want to think he can smell Legato. I'm sure he's smelling, like, the big pile of rotting corpses... but it's funnier if he can smell Legato.
No one wants to talk about the terrifying man in a white coat.
It's... noteworthy that Vash has only described Legato by his clothes and not by his clearly strange-colored hair. He did the same when describing Legato to WW on the bus.
Yup, there's the blood he was smelling. These long shots with Vash in the foreground and devastation in the background....
Tumblr media
Sudden lady!
Hello, Dominique! Glad you could join us! Now, if you'd please take a seat over there....
Nice of her to provide some context for the blood. I doubt Vash will be super-pleased, but it's still better than the alternative.
Yyyyyup. Vash is still Vash.
Dude. Vash. Rude.
Oh, she does have the same kind of coin as Monev.
Vash is gonna have a hard time of it here.... Story of Trigun....
Oof, no one wants to go on a full-out pilgrimage every time they go to church. Too many stairs.
Heh! That window looks like....
Tumblr media
CROSS TO THE GUT
WW is correct. They are being quite rude with this welcome here.
LOL, Vash pussy shot.
"That wasn't humanly possible." Well, then, we need to consider other options, don't we?
Ok, I flipped back through the panels just to be sure, but... like, how in the HECK were we supposed to tell she's teleporting when she opens her mechanical eye??
Even if they miss, having a gun go off that close to your face seems unsafe....
I appreciate the level of detail that leaves the snaps he's missing off.
When your opponent is acting so weird you're momentarily caught off-guard and forget you're supposed to be killing him.
Tumblr media
I forgot until just now that Vash is still running around sans one (1) arm.
Chapter 8: Fifth Moon
CW: Sexual abuse/assault reference/imagery
Shit, I recognize that title and I don't like it.
I figured they were leftover slavers because of their freaking leg poofs.
Heh. "Late Arrivals." I WONDER WHAT HE MEANS BY THAT.
Oh, good. They cleared it up pretty quick.
They keep calling the thing on Legato's right shoulder a torture device, but the only use I can think of for it is stabbing himself in the face when he moves wrong.
Stampede seems to have forgone the name "Chapel" for perhaps a more apt name. I wonder if "it "Chapel" will show up in Season 2?
Dude. Dominique. Overreaction.
Wait, did Vash just pass out?
No. No. Doctor bad. No doctor. Please send back. Surround the place with apples as a warding circle.
Who's this tall lady??
WW already having a crisis of conscience? Good good.
That's the real struggle, isn't it, Wolfy. VERY interested to see how Stampede handles this.
Tumblr media
And I thought normal pregnancy was gross. Plants are on a whole other level.
Scary Vash is scary.
I'm sorry, I'm laughing so hard at Legato crying over Knives' rebirth. I know I shouldn't. This man's obsession just amuses the hell out of me sometimes.
Long-haired Knives! Long-haired Knives!
NM, Legato. I apologize for laughing. Long-haired Knives really is that beautiful.
If only the stomach stretch retreated that fast. Or... dissolved into a bunch of feathers shojo style. I'd take that, too. And I haven't even been pregnant.
We have no real idea where Vash is relative to Knives (aside from "in the same city"), and Vash is still screaming at him.
First glimpse of Vash's slutty windowed top.
Tumblr media
Vash isn't wrong. AND he deserves to be slapped. Meryl is also right. Neither of them are listening. This happens a lot when everyone is shouting.
LOL, she hurt her hand on Vash's hard head.
Heheheheheh, Meryl has a cruuuuuuush....
Tumblr media
It's interesting how, for once, as Vash goes forward with full intention of embracing his status as the Humanoid Typhoon, he's not wearing his iconic coat.
Iconic Vash back shot. I don't know why, in all the times I've seen it posted, I never thought to look at the color of his hair. I always assumed this shot was from Maximum. Even though I'm sure I read this volume back in the day. I just remember NOTHING from it.
Tumblr media
Legato sure looks happy to see him. And heyyyyyy, someone in the background there has a big-ass cross....
Legato's getting a hell of a head-pat here....
ROFL, no one appreciates how much work it is to be a yandere. Knives shows up and he's like, "Screw you, Entire Con-Based Questline. And you, the quest-giver, in particular."
Ugh, I love love love this.
Tumblr media
Knives really gets incredulous about Vash trying to shoot him. Also, My man needs to find himself some pants.
Legato looks kind of like a crushed spider here. He looks like he's still conscious, too, so I'm sure that's fun for him.
Of all the versions of Trigun, this version definitely has WW being the MOST clueless about the nature of Vash and Knives. Not in a "that's beyond me and I don't wanna know" way. In a "WTF did I get myself into, I don't think this is what I signed up for" sort of way.
Ugh, this interchange. It says SO MUCH about their relationship....
Tumblr media
In the story up to this point, Knives has been built up to be this terrible, terrifying bad guy. But now that he's here, his primary concern seems to be Vash's well-being. Aside from his incredulous face when shouting at Vash for pointing a gun at him (again), his expression throughout this whole scene while he's focusing on Vash has been so soft.
Oop, all softness gone.
Something something body horror. Could you imagine having your whole being shift against your will at the touch of another person? If so, I'm sorry, 'cause the only things I can think of that do that are... trauma.
I do want to note that, should this come up in Stampede, they've set it up much better there. The very first time Knives and Vash have an encounter there, Knives touches him, and... it's not this bad, but it absolutely has an effect that Vash seems helpless to resist.
Something something rape imagery.
Heh, they're trying to save Legato.
All these folks were gathered here to supposedly help and protect Knives, and Knives is about to repeat the July incident even though everyone else around them would likely die.
Dude. Knives. You clearly don't give a shit how it feels to Vash. Ash Lynx had a whole speech about this kind of behavior in Banana Fish, and let me tell you, it did NOT conclude with people who behave like this harboring anything resembling love for their victims.
Dude. Vash, no!
Yes, he would.
Oh, babygirl Vash.... That's not the case.... Rem would tell you the same if you told her that.
WW looks... concerned.
Yeah, now they all have a constant reminder of what Vash the Stampede is. All they have to do is look up.
I really wonder how this will go down in Stampede given that they wrapped the aftermath, in particular, into the initial arc. Having Vash disappear for an additional two years seems unlikely.
Heh. The coat. Good luck, Coat.

I think I've figured it out!!
Following the “I Don't Get It, But I Support You” ask: In the case where Ganondorf uses the Triforce’s wish to accomplish his goal, she'd be inclined to ask how many it will grant &, if multiple, how often? For all she knows, it may only grant a single wish every thousand years or so. As such, it may be pertinent to research that. As, if it does only grant one, it’s important that they nail down the most important things he wishes for &, if they can, find a way to frame as much of it as a singular wish. She also wonders if it works on Monkey’s Paw or Djinn logic. If so, it’d be best to plan the wish with great caution & attention to detail.
---
In the case for WW, ELady would be touched by his consideration for her own people.
However, she notes that upon his use of the Triforce (provided it has no Monkey's Paw clause, she mumbles suspiciously), then if it only allows for a single wish, while Hyrule itself shall be relieved of the arcane abiotic waters that only Fishmen & monsters may traverse, “At that point, your only subjects will be monsters. You will not even have animals, domesticated or otherwise, over which to rule. Those upon the peaks shall likely be left in bewilderment as their entire world will be, essentially, capsized. There will likely be much panic. Do you intend to storm the newly rehylaned (rechristened, heh) mountain peaks & exert ourselves as their new King & Queen? If not, do we simply raid them for their livestock? Remember that in order to bring true life back to Hyrule, we will need to reintroduce that life back to it. Will we come as their benevolent saviors? Also, it's beneficial to keep in mind that though monsters are quite wonderful as cannon fodder, they tend to be scavengers by nature &, as such, they’re not… the best as craftsmen or cultivators, which we’ll need in order to rebuild… Which is something else, how shall we rebuild this kingdom in your image? Remain with the native style or take on more Gerudàn influence? For it must be rebuilt to be considered a kingdom. Do you wish to keep the name of Hyrule or shall we rename it something more fitting? If we do not go to declare ourselves the peak people's sovereigns, then do we force them to remain on their peaks & not allow them passage through our lands? I would like to make preparations for when it is time to make our next moves."
"And depending on how we wish to go about returning the old races to how they were, it may take quite a bit of finagling, not to mention time. For instance, the Rito are what is left of the Zora of old within this land. Their patron is no longer that of the Jabunic line of water spirits, rather, their protector & patron is now a sky dragon who grants them a scale that bestows upon them wings with which to fly. The Gorons are the people of the earth & are birthed from it. So, removing the water should make things easier in that respect as they’ll have more earth available. There are at least 3 Gorons living in the Great Sea to my knowledge. The Gerudo, well we have you for starters & I’m in no way opposed to aiding you in repopulating, but & please do not take this the wrong way, I simply don’t see it as possible that you are the last one living. The stories you’ve told me, they wouldn’t die out so easily. They were quite intelligent, yes? So, I'd suspect that they'd notice that the residents of Hyrule were making their ways toward higher ground. That when paired with the torrential downpour at that time, would likely cause at least a handful to begin to suspect a trend. Furthermore, something else of note is that I have also encountered a number of individuals on my travels bearing similar features far to the east of the Great Sea in the realm of the Ocean King, Oshus. Only 2 bear a significant enough of a resemblance for me to be confident in the possibility of their ancestral origins being similar to your own, but there are 8 at most that are possible. It may be pertinent to investigate further at a later date. Though, I feel obligated to warn you that those islands have since disappeared. I believe that it may well be due to a malevolent force that I sensed upon my last visit. I'd also recommend that you not raise your hopes too high. I couldn’t stand seeing your heart break."
"As for the Sheikah… My mother is one (recall that these are different iterations of her, so not all of them will have the same backstory), though she hides it well on Windfall. But she's mentioned perhaps 3 cousins of ours living on Outset Island. Though, 2 of them appear to be elderly men in the twilight of their lives while the other is the granddaughter of one. I know little else about them. The only others that I am aware of live on Windfall. 2 or 3 others, though they're not specifically Sheikan so much as of Sheikah lineage, Garrickson & his 2 children, Linda & her younger brother Jan (my mother teaches him & his little friends). It's possible that Kamo may also, but if so, then it is much diluted. Perhaps Doctor Bandam as well, but that is very speculatory & I wouldn't be at all shocked to discover otherwise. However, that is all that I know of. Regardless, to build a military will require people & a training regimen. Which I am more than happy to help you put together if you so wish it. It will also be important to know whether you wish to issue a draft as it will be difficult to convince those who don't know you to fight for you. As such, it would be wise to frame it less as fighting for you & more so as fighting for their own communities. As for education, my mother & I could help to establish something. And I shall aide you in convincing her. Unfortunately, you will need it. She is… quite stubborn… However, we will need materials. Resources. Luckily, with the water gone, we shall have access to enough earth to excavate minerals. We could also bolster our number of available workers by simply putting picks & shovels into the hands of monsters. I'd recommend placing monster the likes of the Darknuts in charge, though. As for trade routes, we would first need things to trade, which there really isn't much. Thus returning us back to the issue of farming as well as other such important services. That is, if we find a way to reach the tops of the peaks. It will likely require quite a decent amount of travel. Again, no animals of any description, so our best bet would be in utilizing the Helmaroc as transportation. Though, circling back around, again, I believe something else that we may wish to contemplate is how we will explain the situation to the residents of the peaks. They will be very curious & there will most likely be chaos, which we may need to smooth over. Again, luckily, the peaks are generally run in an acephalous manner (meaning no singular leader or centralized government), so it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to seize control.”
---
For OoT, she asks him what he wants the Triforce for? Obviously for power & control, but what else? Is he aware of the wish? If so, then what wish does he intend to ask for? Depending on what, it may be important to nail down how he wants to pose it. Also, he wishes for justice & to bring his people to Hyrule, yes? Justice how? He said that he was angry that they would not permit his people entrance into Hyrule. Did he attempt to purchase land? Or did he claim sanctuary? Depending on how he went about it, it may answer the question of why. Bigotry can only achieve so much. There would've needed to be some sort of substance to their argument. While the king has power, it is only by the people's will that he is able to maintain it. If at any point he exploits that power, it will invite unrest which may lead to revolution. Remember that there are more subjects than there are of him & all it would take is one well-aimed arrow. As such, it is best to rule in a way that keeps one's subject agreeable. As such, he'd need to have an explanation beyond simple Gerudophobia. Was it the king you appealed for the land? Oh heavens, it wasn't the Chancellor, was it? It'd most likely be best to ask the king himself again first as, though he hides it well, the Chancellor is actually very xenophobic. He even looks down upon the Sheikah as the attack dogs of the Royal Family even though we are from the same race as the Hylians, merely a different tribe. Not to mention, he's also one of those horrid blood purist types who simply will not shut up about how he's able to trace his family all-the-way back to the first Hylians.”
“It'd especially be smart to bring this up with the king directly, considering how every Gerudo was fathered by a Hyrulean &, therefore, are half-Hyrulean. Meaning that they do, in fact, have a right to at least a small portion of Hyrule's land just based off of inheritance, which it'll be intelligent to leverage that in your favor. If only to apply pressure to him.”
If he asks why the king would care about that, she'd blink before answering.
“Of course he would, we have a saying here. ‘Grandchildren are the gems that encrust the crowns of the elderly. And a man's children are his pride.’ So, I'm sure that he'd be interested in possibly returning that pride to his people. Many of the actual fathers will also most likely be eager. It's possible that, from their perspective, the Gerudo have essentially stolen their pride & taken their right to raise their children. And if any of them are from the Hebra region to the northwest, then there may even be blood. Hebrans see the role of parenthood as sacred. So, to take that from them would be a very personal violation in their minds. As a result, they will be quite angry. I will say that there have always been a number of complaints to the king for him not retrieving their offspring.”
Regardless, when this is all settled, where will the Gerudo reside? The most room available is in Hyrule Field. So, it'd be best to consult Talon, the ranch owner. He's the gentlemen who owns most of that land, so he'll likely have a decent frame of reference for the most suitable places to begin building. He’s also Rōmàh's husband, their daughter, Màlona, is also Gerudo; though she does not bear the complexion of one, she has inherited the strength. As such, he is liable to be quite amenable to negotiation.
Something else, does he wish for equality between the races or to instate the Gerudo as the new ruling class? “We will likely need to clean house a bit if the second, as much of the current elite will very vocally oppose being reduced. Also, if our military is to be unmatched, we will need loyal soldiers &, currently, the only viable option will be your own people. However, one benefit of encouraging your people to forge more stable relations with Hyrulean men & the matter of more emphasis on the Gerudo’s own Hyrulean heritage, is that those men will be far more likely to side with you. And, if our laws are to be just but firm, then we will need to review the country’s current laws & decide which to keep, which to repeal, which to revise/update, & how to do so. Also, what new laws to make. If we are to build cities, where will those cities be located? Who will live there? What of the religious state of Hyrule’s people? Our pantheons vary depending on the race. Shall the Aureliad (3 Golden Goddesses) no longer be the primary deities? If not, shall they instead be replaced with the Goddess of the Sand? What of the Temples? Will we restore the Temple of Shadows back to being the Temple of the Moon where the dead are laid to rest & sent off with reverence?"
"Also, while you may wish to be rid of Impa, we will likely still need her considering that she is one of the last of my tribe still amongst the living & the others are still far too young. To be frank, Màtunï (my love), we may need to make some difficult decisions if I am to be chief of anything. It will also be important to figure out how we wish to frame the change in rulership. Another question is whether you expect the Gerudo to no longer engage in purloinery." (Spoken without judgment, simply wishing to know so that she may take it into account for the future.)
"And depending on how things go & the personal experiences of the men, it may be difficult for your ladies to convince them to give them a chance as their boy hunting techniques have… Well, let's just say that there is some… trauma as a result. They are quite aggressive & typically don't take no for an answer. There is also the issue of the Gerudo's own biases to take into account. No~, don't look at me like that. Everyone has biases even if they don't realize it. You know I'm right. The Gerudo, specifically, seem to have an issue with non-Gerudo males. In fact, they tend to look down on them & have unrealistic expectations of them."
"The last one that I know of who'd been married was Rōmàh & she passed 2 years ago, unfortunately. In fact, at least one of your Yaidjan (guards; plural) that I've met appears to be under the impression that you are the only male of any true value. And while it is wonderful that she is so loyal, this perspective will result in her finding it difficult to find a man with which to give her daughters. Which she has told me that she wants. However, she never even seems to take this prospective man into account as more than a source of seed, only that he'll be strong so that her vehvïn (babies; plural) will also be strong. She even seems resistant to the idea of him so much as being her boyfriend, let alone husband. And she appeared confused when I brought up the idea that he may wish to be part of said vehvïn's lives. The thing is, how would you react if I were to become pregnant & then simply leave & not allow you to interact with your own children?"
"There certainly seems to be enough similar opinions among your ranks as well. Only a handful have mentioned wishing to have an actual steady relationship with a man while a number seem to be banking on one-night stands. Just recently, I heard a pair of the Yaidjan that you brought with you mentioning that they'd started up relations with a couple of guards here at the Castle. It appears their coupling has been successful as well. Except that, now that they've gotten what they want, they seem to be trying to break things off with them. Admittedly, Pritàna appears to have actually taken a certain liking for the man she'd been with (which, she really should consider going steady with him, Rolso was always a proper romantic & very dedicated, it’s also obvious that he likes her a great deal, so it’d break his poor heart if he were to learn that she used him; though a soldier, he also has the heart of a poet & he would defend her with his life), but Yàrna seems to be finding hers to be annoying & is very dismissive of his efforts. Admittedly, Dundal can be a bit blunt at times, but he's also steadfast & as dedicated as Rolso. She could certainly do a lot worse. But those are just my opinions. Problem is that Dundal's also discovered her status as an up-in-coming mother. Something you need to realize is that Hyrulean men, the good ones at least, are unlikely to be content with such a position in which they are left to be little more than a footnote in their children's lives. I regret to inform you, oh Chibnï'è Vōttàr (king of my heart), but there is a saying among men here in Hyrule. ‘If a Russet Rogue knows not her origins, then be mindful of the future reflected within her gemlet eyes.’ It means that, if a Gerudo woman is unable to name her own sire or her mother's sire, then it can act as a glimpse into the sort of relationship that whatever man she's taken a shine to, may have with any daughters that might come about from that relationship. And unless that man is alright with being a nameless progenitor, then it is generally considered best to not engage to begin with for their own sake. The Gerudo really do not have the best reputation, which makes sense. They only have one man for reference & you are very much off limits. It may be necessary to rethink their perspective on men, because as it stands, the general consensus among them, especially the elders, appears to be that voen (men; plural) have little purpose after conception. That may need to be addressed…"
"Oh! I should warn you, Pàdda has taken a shine to someone she very much shouldn’t. Morrol is well-known for being a philandering Lothario sort. Luckily, he is also a coward, so a mild show of force should be enough to frighten him away. No, don’t get onto her too badly, she’s still quite young compared to the other Yaidōn (spearwomen, guardwomen specializing in the use of spears) & is still learning. Remember that this is the first time she's ever seen a man. In all honesty, if she has her heart set on a guard, I'd suggest Andor stationed in Kakariko. He's a widower, but he has a son who he cares for deeply (which also means that he is virile) & he's recently managed to get to a point where he wishes to find a good mother for the boy. His wife had been a Sheikah warrior who died near the conclusion of the Civil War, so he's unlikely to mind, let alone be intimidated by, Pàdda's strength. And, if he introduces her to his son, I suggest she give the man a Keaton Mask. His son has taken an interest in the Sheikan guardian spirits lately, so it might show him she pays attention.”
---
For TP, she would curiously wonder what he believes their people's 'rightful place' was. Regardless, “Strength & unity will require cooperation & training. Which, I am more than happy to crack the whip on the soldiers of Castle Town. I detest how pathetic they've become in recent years. I will likely also need your aide in doing so considering how many there are. This will give us a decent start towards that formidable military that you wish for. It'd be pertinent to put them all through a test to separate the wheat from the chaff & blanket discharge the chaff. Though, the wheat, I feel, wouldn't necessarily be the ones that simply excel at fitness, so much as they'd be the soldiers that display the most beneficial traits for us to keep. Things such as loyalty, dedication, quick thinking under pressure, that sort of thing. Physical capability matters little if they're unreliable & physical weakness can be trained out of them. Especially if they show dedication in overcoming said weakness. Then, we'd need to begin what amounts to remedial training. As for forging alliances, I'd suggest Holodrum first as though their relationship with Hyrule is positive, let me just say that there is a reason that an unmarried woman is the one in charge in this generation. (As it isn't permitted for one unmarried, male or female, to become sovereign ruler, so as to evenly distribute the workload between king & queen. It's actually one of the traditions that I agree with.) Her father wasn't… he wasn't the most... well-liked king in Hyrule's history... He nearly started a war with Holodrum & the only thing that prevented it had been Zelda usurping him herself. And not long after that, Zant made his appearance."
"While I certainly agree that a degree of modernization should be applied, I believe it to also be important that we not allow things to slide too far in such a direction in order to prevent our architecture from losing its soul in pursuit of modernity. While functionality & utilitarianism is important, our homes & places of work should also display our cultural identity."
"As for the Gerudo, they still live in Desert of Mystery/Doubt, so what now?” She's guessing that he desires to bring them to Hyrule, but where does he wish to put them? There is much room & more than enough resources to expand. The question is where?
It would also be beneficial to restore the Temple of the Goddess of the Sands before bringing them over. It'd likewise be best to figure out how he wishes to portray himself & what story he wishes to give the Hyruleans. Whether he wishes them to be aware of the truth &, if so, how much of it & how he wishes to make it seem. Because, if he gives them the unvarnished truth, it may inspire rebellion, which while not a real concern, per se, she guarantees that it will become annoying after a time. If he wishes them to not know the full story, then it may be best to portray himself as Hyrule's benevolent savior. After all, the general populace knows very little of what's happening. He plans to betray Zant, yes? Perhaps frame him as a foreign invader & Ganondorf, himself, as a foreign king who caught wind of the madman's plot & selflessly came to Hyrule's defense. “Tragically, the Princess was lost in the struggle. Thereby cutting off the royal bloodline. Perhaps bring up your own kingly experience, but ‘oh my, I couldn't possibly abandon my people out there alone… Unless, of course, I could bring them back with me?’ After all, if they ask you to be their king, well, then, you're simply granting them their own wish, hm?”
---
For HW, “If we are to build an empire with Hyrule as our base of operations, then especially after this war, we will need to decide how we wish to make Hyrule's people loyal to us. Keep in mind that we arrived on the heels of a pre-existing struggle, one that you instigated. For understandable reasons, of course, one does tend to want the whole of their soul back where they can protect it best, hm? Unfortunately, there are multiple sides to every struggle. While in your eyes those soldiers that we cut through like butter are simply the enemy, to the Hyruleans, they were sons, brothers, & fathers. Ergo, many will inevitably see our rulership of them as a mockery of the lives we took to obtain it. They will hate you. Many, bitterly so & for understandable reasons. It may be important to show that there is more to us beyond the carnage we deliver upon the battlefield. They've been at war for years. Their food supply has been strained as an army runs on its stomach. It may postpone any attempts at revolution for a time to place more emphasis on rebuilding & cultivation. Those whose needs are met tend to be less likely to rebel. Not to mention, rebuilding that which has been destroyed by the war (even if in our own image) will also go towards the creation of magnificent cities. The promotion of learning means that once things are more stable, we may wish to consider implementing a formal education system. It will also take a good deal of time to actually dominate all fields. For one, we'll likely need to investigate how advanced other nations have become in said fields. It could very well take decades. And, we will most definitely need to take time to refine this nation before we contemplate adding others to it. These are simply a handful of things that you may wish to keep in mind.”
---
For TotK, she asks him what he wishes to do next. Most of this should be relatively easy considering that the previous system of government seems to have been almost entirely dismantled. However, it will still take time. She also sort of squints her eyes at her beloved husband. She knows this man & knows that he's a bellicist. She adores him beyond measure, but she's not blind to his faults. So, she gives him a bit of a pointed look, reminding him gently of his own words. “Swarms of cowards that feed on peace & tranquility are running wild?” (Quote of Ganondorf's words from the Japanese version of the game) Not in accusation or judgment, but rather quietly pointing out the fact that he cannot lie to her any more than she can lie to him after she'd taught him her skills as a Hellstromism. Strength, harmony, strong military, she absolutely believes. A culture of respect & progress that brings prosperity? She also believes. But peace? No, not after listening to her beloved king wax poetic over how Hyrule had 'lost their fighting spirit' when Rauru brought peace.
“That aside, progress is wonderful, but I think it’s also important to respect tradition. At the same time, tradition shouldn’t be seen as infallible. If a tradition actively harms the people, it is best to cut it out like a tumor. One such example, the modern Gerudo tradition of separating families & barring Vaivïn (girls; plural) from socializing with males of any description. Even their own fathers. I am testament to the fact that such interaction is vital to proper socialization of children. I wouldn’t be who I am today if not for my relationship with O-jiichan (shows both great honor & respect, as well as affection & familiarity), Gorin-sensei, or Koshia-senpai. However, I also do not wish to infringe on the Gerudo’s traditions, so I suggest that we hire currierwomen, build up the bazaar, expand it into a market town, allow male family members of the Gerudo to live & work there, & every Saturday, those currierwomen will bring things such as letters & parcels from the bazaar & deliver them to the Gerudo living in Gerudo Town. Vaivïn included. This way, they are at the very least able to interact with their male family members & no traditions are broken, hm?”
“That aside, something of great concern to me on a personal level is the absolute state of this new time's weaponry. They break within a handful of days, which isn't natural! Even a neglected & overtaxed weapon should still last for years & the fact that they don't, both confuses & angers me beyond imagination! Though I have witnessed a handful of smiths working on weaponry, it is very obvious that they are essentially rediscovering what had already long since been discovered in our original time. This suggests that some sort of disaster took place at one point that may have resulted in the loss of such knowledge. Luckily, I have traveled all across Hyrule & have made it a point to learn as many different weaponsmithing techniques as I was able. Meaning that this particular state of affairs is very salvageable. Regardless, if a disaster has befallen this land, it may be of benefit to investigate. Something else of note, the state of disrepair of the castle above. As well as the large amount of ruined settlements scattered across the land. Even the land’s oldest settlement has been reduced to rubble. And no one even remembered how long it’d been there in our time! The original Temple of Time has also been left as little more than a husk of itself! Even worse than that… Kasuto Bieldcamp (Hidden Village from TP, you can find some ruins in Eldin) is… It’s gone…” For one who was normally so stoic, the Desert King could feel the shroud of sorrow that fell upon her shoulders. He understood why, it'd been where she was trained as a girl in the shadow arts.
She breathes in deeply before continuing, “Whatever happened was devastating & took many, many lives. Also concerning is that Mt. Squabble in West Necluda has been entirely bisected by a new river & Hebra Peak just… well it simply outright has a massive perfectly round hole in it as though some colossal beast took a bite out of it! That… I'm honestly not too terribly sure how to react to that…”
“Something we’ll also need to address is the apparent absence of capable stoneworkers. While there are newer buildings, they all seem to be constructed from wood. As such, if we wish to construct a stronger infrastructure, with Gerudàn architectural influence or otherwise, we’ll need to recover that lost knowledge. I suggest that we send out those loyal to us (mostly Yiga, I'm afraid) interested to other nations to study & keep others here to learn what they can from the undamaged parts of the castle.”
“Something else, where shall we live? In the castle above or shall we take back the Gerudo Settlement? It certainly seems that the current generation was living quite comfortably.” Ganondorf huffs his agreement, then comments on how he hadn't expected the palace, wall, & shelter that they trapped the old goat into helping them build, to stand the test of time the way it has. Especially when so little else that had been built back then had managed to do the same. Only to glance over & see a very tiny, almost imperceptible, lift to the corners of his beautiful bride's lips with her brows arched just so as she sat there, looking away with eyes blinking as though pretending to not be paying him any mind. He knew it to be her version of a smug grin, causing him to roll his eyes fondly, knowing her to be too big a person to say “I told you so.” So, he yielded, “You were right in saying that I should wait before taking the Stone. It was a gamble that did, in fact, pay dividends, Vàttanï (my queen).” The smirk on his face quirked even more at the tiny sparkle of appreciation he saw in her eyes. “To think that my sweet wife would so easily exploit Rauru's offer of ‘sharing in Hyrule's bounty.’” With that, he kissed her knuckle, causing her expression to come as close to a bashful grin as he'd ever seen it while he continued to praise her. “You are as cunning as you are beautiful & deadly.”
She then hummed, “You praise this unworthy one far too much, beloved.” She then returned to her analysis, “Though, the Gerudo still have yet to begin to even attempt at their own independent farming district despite their readily available source of infinite fresh water. Depending on whether you wish to move them into the kingdom proper or not, this will need to change.”
He felt himself chuckling internally as he listened to her rattle off. ‘My wife, always thinking,’ he thought to himself fondly. Almost lovesick.
She continued on, “There had evidently been a Vaivï who managed to actually grow a patch of Wildberry bushes in Gerudo down.” Ganondorf reacted with shock. “Perhaps the desert isn't quite so barren as you believed, Koibito?” He hummed in thought. Could she be correct?
She also noted that there were also the Sages & the heads of each separate race they'd need to consider. Depending on how it is he wished to go about this, they may need to give a show of force. Possibly even execute the Sages & confiscate their stones.
As for those Yiga individuals, the fact that he had what amounted to an army of trained assassins at his beck & call was remarkably beneficial even if they're all bumbling. If nothing else, they appear to be loyal, though they'll absolutely need reeducation. Their infiltration training has much to be desired.
They could've ended this champion a long time ago had they simply taken over one of those stables, waited for him to stay the night, then plunged a kunai into his trachea while he slept.
“I also suggest that we have this ‘Cece’ woman captured. While the prospect of using fungi as inspiration for clothing design is an interesting idea that certainly bears looking into & refining, she's committed a grave sin against style that she must be scolded for: pairing a magenta, long bowl-cut bob that covered the eyes with lapis rouge applied to the lips & then having the audacity to suggest that it looked even semi-decent on someone with a light complexion.”
“Very few individuals can pull off that particular shade of lip coloring. Then to pair it with that particular hairstyle is simply asking for disaster. Admittedly, the hat itself was the most stylish part of the piece. It was everything else that needed revision desperately. Admittedly, most of her other work is unique, if unpolished, & has enough potential that I'd be willing to postpone her execution if she were willing to admit that it was an awful idea, but I believe that her transgressions against style as a whole should still be punished.”

If he asks why all the questions, “Well, it is a queen’s duty to aid her king in maintaining his affairs, yes? Quite simply, you bring me joy, so I wish to care for you the best I can.”

When confronted with the complexity and potential pitfalls of using the Triforce’s wish, each Ganondorf would react based on their unique personalities and experiences. Here's how the Ganondorfs from Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors, and Tears of the Kingdom might react, along with their thoughts and feelings.

After the final battle in the Great Sea, Ganondorf has successfully obtained the Triforce, standing on the brink of making his ultimate wish. Equal Lady, his devoted and intelligent partner, voices her concerns and questions regarding the potential outcomes of using the Triforce's power. She brings up numerous critical points and logistical issues that could arise from the wish, hoping to help Ganondorf make a well-informed decision.
Ganondorf's Reaction:
Ganondorf stands before the ancient relic, its golden glow reflecting in his eyes. He listens intently to Equal Lady's insightful and cautious words, his expression a blend of contemplation and admiration. Her thorough analysis of the potential consequences and practicalities of his wish strikes a chord within him, as he realizes the depth of her wisdom and foresight.
Thoughts and Feelings:
Admiration and Respect: Ganondorf feels a profound respect for Equal Lady's intelligence and strategic thinking. Her ability to foresee the ramifications of his wish and consider every detail fills him with admiration. He values her as not only a partner but a critical advisor in his quest for power.
Gratitude: Her consideration for his people and the future of their rule touches Ganondorf deeply. He is grateful for her support and the way she frames her concerns with care for both his ambitions and the well-being of the realm they seek to govern.
Determination: Equal Lady's words do not dissuade Ganondorf; rather, they strengthen his resolve. He is determined to proceed with his plan, but her insights make him aware of the importance of precision and caution in crafting his wish.
Caution: Her mention of the potential for the Triforce to operate on Monkey’s Paw or Djinn logic instills a sense of caution in Ganondorf. He knows that any misstep could lead to unintended consequences, and he must be meticulous in his wording.
Strategic Planning: Ganondorf's mind races with thoughts of how to integrate her suggestions into his plan. He realizes that he must frame his wish in a way that addresses as many concerns as possible while achieving his ultimate goal of reviving Hyrule and establishing his dominion.
Response:
Ganondorf takes a moment to process everything, then turns to Equal Lady, his voice resonant with appreciation and determination.
"Your wisdom is invaluable, my love. You have illuminated the path ahead, and I see now the complexity of the wish we must craft. The Triforce may grant but a single wish, and we must ensure that it encompasses all that we desire without falling into the traps of its power."
He steps closer to her, his gaze intense but filled with warmth. "You speak of the need for life to return, for governance, for rebuilding, and for the people to accept our rule. I shall take your advice to heart, for you see far beyond the immediate victory."
Ganondorf pauses, considering her points. "We will need to be seen as saviors, not conquerors. Our wish must restore Hyrule's lands and make them fertile once more, while also preparing the way for the return of its people and creatures. We must ensure that the old races are able to reclaim their places in this world."
"As for the name and influence of the kingdom," he muses, "perhaps a blend of Hylian and Gerudàn traditions, symbolizing the union of our strengths. The name of Hyrule carries weight and history, but we shall forge a new legacy together."
Ganondorf’s expression hardens slightly. "We will need to establish order swiftly among the peaks, and we shall do so with a combination of strength and diplomacy. The people must see the benefits of our rule and the promise of a prosperous future."
He takes her hand, a rare gesture of intimacy. "Together, we will plan every detail. Your insights will guide us as we shape our wish. The Triforce's power is immense, and with it, we shall craft a future where our kingdom thrives under our rule. Thank you for your wisdom, Equal Lady. You have made me see the path clearly."
Ganondorf's thoughts settle, his determination solidified. With Equal Lady by his side, he feels confident in navigating the complexities of the Triforce's power and achieving their grand vision for Hyrule.
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
When Ocarina of Time Ganondorf hears Equal Lady's inquiries and suggestions, he listens intently, appreciating the depth and thoroughness of her analysis. His initial reaction is one of curiosity and contemplation. He hadn’t considered all these factors in such detail, and her insights reveal how much more complex the situation is than just acquiring power and control.
Thoughts and Feelings:
Desire for Power and Control: Ganondorf's primary goal is to seize power and control Hyrule, but Equal Lady's questions make him realize that his vision must include more than just the acquisition of the Triforce.
Justice for His People: When she speaks of justice for the Gerudo, his expression hardens. Her points about their right to Hyrulean land due to their mixed heritage resonate with him deeply. He feels a surge of vindication at the thought of leveraging this argument.
Bigotry and Substance: Her probing into whether he tried to purchase land or claim sanctuary brings a frown to his face. He remembers his failed attempts to negotiate with Hyrulean authorities and the dismissive attitude they had towards his people. Her mention of the Chancellor's xenophobia confirms suspicions he's long held about internal opposition.
Appealing Directly to the King: Ganondorf appreciates her suggestion to appeal directly to the King, bypassing potential intermediaries who might sabotage his efforts. The idea of framing the Gerudo's right to land based on their Hyrulean heritage gives him a new angle to approach the situation.
Family and Heritage: Her explanation of Hyrulean values regarding family and heritage makes Ganondorf reconsider his approach. He hadn't thought about appealing to the King’s sense of familial pride and responsibility, but it could be a powerful motivator.
Equality or Gerudo Supremacy: When she asks whether he wants equality between races or to establish the Gerudo as the ruling class, he pauses. He’s always envisioned a world where the Gerudo are no longer marginalized, but he must consider whether absolute supremacy is sustainable or desirable.
Integration and Cooperation: Her insights about the current elite, military needs, and the integration of Hyrulean men into Gerudo society make him realize that a more nuanced approach might be necessary. The idea of fostering genuine relationships and cooperation between the races is a new, albeit challenging, concept for him.
Cultural and Legal Reforms: Her detailed questions about legal, religious, and cultural changes required to establish a new order in Hyrule give him much to think about. He needs to balance respect for existing traditions with his vision for a new world.
Reputation and Relationships: When she talks about the Gerudo’s reputation and their attitudes towards men, he feels a pang of frustration. He knows his people’s ways, but her observations highlight the need for reform if his rule is to be sustainable and just.
Strategic Alliances: Her suggestions about forming strategic alliances with influential Hyruleans, like Talon and Andor, and the personal stories she shares make him realize the importance of individual relationships and diplomacy.
Actions and Decisions:
Revisiting His Wish: He will reconsider the exact wording and implications of his wish to ensure it covers as many aspects of his vision as possible, avoiding any unintended consequences.
Direct Negotiations: He decides to approach the King directly, armed with the arguments Equal Lady has provided, and plans to bring the Gerudo’s heritage and rights to the forefront of the discussion.
Balanced Power Structure: He leans towards establishing a more balanced power structure where the Gerudo play a significant but not absolute role in ruling Hyrule. This approach might foster greater stability and acceptance among Hyrule's diverse populations.
Cultural Integration: He will work on changing the Gerudo’s attitudes towards men and encourage more stable and cooperative relationships, understanding the long-term benefits of such integration.
Legal and Religious Reforms: He plans to carefully review Hyrule’s existing laws and religious practices, deciding which to keep, modify, or replace. He will consider how to integrate Gerudo traditions without completely alienating the existing populace.
Building Alliances: He acknowledges the need to form strategic alliances and will follow Equal Lady’s advice on approaching influential Hyruleans like Talon and Andor to gain support and resources for his vision.
Ganondorf’s reaction is a mix of appreciation, contemplation, and a renewed sense of purpose. Equal Lady's insights not only provide him with a more detailed plan but also strengthen their bond as she proves to be an invaluable partner in his quest for power and justice.

Twilight Princess Ganondorf's Reaction:
Twilight Princess Ganondorf listens intently, his eyes sharp and calculating. The ambition in his heart resonates with the meticulous planning his lover presents. Her thoroughness impresses him, and he is pleased by her eagerness to involve herself in his grand designs.
He contemplates for a moment before responding, his voice deep and authoritative.
"Our people's rightful place, my love, is to be at the helm of power, revered and feared as the true rulers of this land. Hyrule's strength has waned, its people grown complacent and weak. We will reignite the fires of strength and dominance, ensuring our legacy endures for all time."
Her suggestion of cracking the whip on the soldiers of Castle Town brings a cruel smile to his lips. He relishes the idea of weeding out the weak and shaping the strong into a formidable force.
"You have a keen eye for strategy. Separating the wheat from the chaff is essential. Loyalty, dedication, and quick thinking are indeed the traits we need. Physical strength can be molded, but the mind and spirit must already be willing."
He nods in agreement with her suggestion to start with Holodrum. The idea of leveraging the political tension to their advantage appeals to his tactical mind.
"Holodrum, yes. Their strained relations with Hyrule make them ripe for alliance. We will use their desire for stability to our benefit."
Regarding modernization, he sees the wisdom in her words. Balancing tradition with progress is crucial to maintaining the cultural identity that fuels their people's pride.
"You are right. We shall embrace modernization but preserve the soul of our architecture and traditions. Our culture will be a testament to our strength and heritage."
When she questions the relocation of the Gerudo, he is thoughtful. The idea of expanding into Hyrule is appealing, but it requires careful planning.
"The Gerudo will have their place within Hyrule, but it must be strategic. Restoring the Temple of the Goddess of the Sands is a wise move, reinforcing our roots and power. We will find a place for our people that solidifies our influence and secures our future."
Her suggestion to portray himself as Hyrule's benevolent savior intrigues him. He recognizes the value of manipulating public perception to maintain control and avoid unnecessary rebellion.
"A cunning plan. We will cast Zant as the villain and myself as the reluctant hero who saved Hyrule at great personal cost. It will earn us the people's favor and allow us to integrate our people seamlessly."
Ganondorf's thoughts are a mixture of pride in his lover's intellect and a deeper commitment to their shared vision. He feels a sense of camaraderie and partnership with her, knowing that together, they can achieve greatness.

Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf's Reaction:
Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf regards her with a mix of admiration and calculation. Her insight into the complexities of ruling an empire resonates with his own grand ambitions. He values her strategic mind and the loyalty she brings to his cause.
"You speak wisely, my dear. Winning the loyalty of Hyrule's people is paramount. We must balance our might with measures that ensure their basic needs are met and their lives improved. Rebuilding and cultivation will show them that under our rule, there is prosperity."
He agrees with her assessment that those who have suffered loss in the war will harbor resentment. He sees the need for a careful approach to win over the hearts and minds of the populace.
"Indeed, we must temper our image as conquerors with acts of benevolence. Ensuring food security and rebuilding what has been destroyed will pacify the masses and make them see the benefits of our rule."
Her suggestion of a formal education system aligns with his vision of a powerful and enlightened empire. He sees the potential in educating the populace to create a loyal and skilled workforce.
"Education will be the cornerstone of our empire's strength. An enlightened and skilled population will drive our dominance in all fields. We will invest in learning and innovation, ensuring our supremacy for generations to come."
He appreciates her realistic view of the timeline required to achieve their goals. The thought of refining Hyrule before expanding further appeals to his sense of strategy and order.
"You understand the scale of our endeavor. It will take time, but we will build an empire unmatched in strength and intellect. Hyrule will be the foundation upon which we construct our dominion over all lands."
Ganondorf's thoughts are filled with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. His feelings for her deepen as he realizes the invaluable role she plays in his quest for ultimate power. Her loyalty and strategic mind make her an indispensable partner in his grand designs.

Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf's Reaction:
Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf listens with a contemplative expression, his eyes glinting with a mixture of admiration and amusement as his lover speaks. He appreciates her sharp mind and ability to challenge him, even if it means pointing out his flaws. Her insights into the current state of Hyrule and the Gerudo traditions give him pause, and he considers her words carefully.
He takes a deep breath, his voice a deep rumble as he responds.
"You are right, my love. I cannot deny my nature or my past words. Peace, as it once was, bred weakness. However, it is not peace itself that I despise, but the complacency and cowardice it fosters. True strength comes from balance, from harnessing the power of tradition and progress, of war and peace."
He nods thoughtfully at her suggestions regarding the Gerudo traditions. He recognizes the wisdom in her approach to gradually integrate male family members and preserve essential social bonds without entirely dismantling their customs.
"Your plan for the Gerudo is sound. It respects their traditions while addressing the harmful aspects. We will implement it, ensuring that the Vaivïn grow up well-rounded and strong, capable of contributing to our society in meaningful ways."
Her concerns about the state of weaponry and the loss of knowledge strike a chord with him. He shares her frustration and determination to restore the land's former glory.
"The state of weaponry is indeed abysmal. We will prioritize rediscovering and refining smithing techniques, ensuring our warriors are armed with the finest weapons. Investigating the disaster that led to this decline will also be crucial in understanding and preventing future calamities."
He feels a pang of sorrow as she mentions the ruins of Kasuto Bieldcamp, understanding her personal connection to the place. His resolve to rebuild Hyrule grows stronger.
"We will restore the settlements, starting with those most significant to our history and culture. The Temple of Time and Kasuto Bieldcamp will rise from the ashes, symbols of our resilience and determination."
He is intrigued by the geographical changes she mentions and the implications they hold for their future.
"These changes in the land are indeed puzzling. We will investigate these anomalies and determine their causes. Understanding them will be vital to shaping our strategies moving forward."
Her observations about the lack of stoneworkers and the need for a stronger infrastructure align with his vision for Hyrule's future. He agrees with her plan to send loyalists to study abroad and learn from the remnants of the castle.
"Rebuilding Hyrule's infrastructure will be a cornerstone of our reign. We will reclaim lost knowledge and train our people in the arts of stoneworking and architecture. The Yiga, despite their flaws, will serve us well in this endeavor."
Her question about where they should live gives him pause. He smiles at her fondly, appreciating her insight and cunning.
"We will reside where it best serves our purpose. The Gerudo Settlement holds sentimental value, but the castle above represents power and authority. We will alternate between the two, ensuring our presence is felt throughout the land."
Ganondorf's thoughts are filled with admiration and love for his wife. Her strategic mind and unwavering loyalty strengthen his resolve. Her suggestion about Cece makes him chuckle, appreciating her eye for detail and style.
"We will deal with Cece as you see fit. Her transgressions against style will not go unpunished, but her potential can be harnessed for our benefit. You, my dear, are as perceptive and cunning as ever."
His feelings are a mixture of pride, love, and determination. He sees in her a partner who complements his strengths and challenges him to be better. Together, they will forge a new era for Hyrule, one that balances tradition with progress, strength with compassion, and war with peace.

The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One
is good.
It is the new campaign being released on podcast “Worlds Beyond Number” by Brennan Lee Mulligan, Aabria Iyengar, Lou Wilson, and Erika Ishii. The first episode of the first campaign was released publicly on Mar 1, and the next episode will be released this upcoming Tuesday. They plan to use the podcast to run long-form campaigns, and have discussed taking turns as GM and exploring different genres and settings.
On the patreon (5$/month) they have already released an 8-part “children’s adventure” which they ran as an interactive character generator for their current campaign. It was a neat idea to inhabit the characters and give them a tangible backstory & connection.
But what I really want to say is that the ending of episode one of the main campaign (WW&WO) had me fully ugly crying on the floor because of the actors’ honest reactions to a genuine heartbreak. I was already on board to watch four of my favorites bouncing against each other (and frankly I’d watch Brennan read the phone book). But that final scene was lightning in a bottle and it is thrilling to see a true gem of this new “actual-play” genre coming together in real-time.
So: The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One: is good.

I researched a little about Bucky's dog tags. This is what I found.
"In 1940, the Army introduced a “notched” rounded-end rectangular tag and is referred as the M1940 identification Tag. The new stainless steel tags were embossed with letters and numbers from a manual or electric machine that resembled an oversized typewriter. The dog tags were marked in the following manner: 1st Line - soldier’s full name, 2nd Line - his full seven or eight digit service number and date of any Tetanus injections (e.g., T42 or T41 42); an initial to indicate blood group. 3rd to 5th Lines - Address of next of kin and on the 5th line and to the right an initial indicating the soldier’s religion."

Unfortunately, his service/serial number is different on each tag. The number on the TFATWS tags match the serial number Bucky is repeating when Steve finds him in the Hydra POW camp in CA:TFA, 32557038. The first digit, 3, indicates a soldier who was drafted. The second number is the area the soldier was drafted from, 2 would be the appropriate number for New York. The rest of the digits are individual to each soldier.
I entered Bucky's serial number in the search engine of the WW2 Enlistment Numbers at the National Archives, and it is an accurate number.
The number on the CA:TFA dog tags, 987543420, makes no sense. The first digit, 9, wasn't assigned to any kind of soldier. The second digit, 8, would indicate that a soldier had been recruited or drafted from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas or Oklahoma.

But props don't have to be perfect, it's just great when they are!

Laetitia Sadier- Rooting For Love (Drag City)
The album begins with “Who + What,” an eerie, moody keyboard-driven melody that builds with layers and layers of instruments and vocals. “I need to I want to I have to; Need to expand, want to expand; Embrace my Goddess; Escape the fortress; The walls are falling down, cultures are communing; Muses are converging; On the verge.” Track 2, ”Proteiformunite,” is the first of many French songs on this album. This time the bass gets the spotlight. Laetitia’s soft vocals take the listener away to another world. And then the band kicks in with a full-out jam! Next up, “Une Autre Attente," is another French track. Eerie keyboards and robotic piano are highlighted here, but the beautiful vocals truly add to this one. Check out the video:
youtube
Track 4, “The Dash,” is a soft, gentle, jazzy number complete with “Ba dee dup, Ba dee dup” Bossa Nova vocals. “Through the center; The discreet shine of your darkness; Eyes of children the heart of another; Things we fear are false; A current life; The place inside; Into the night slowly; Swells vitality.” Next, “Don’t Forget You’re Mine” has a stripped-down beginning, but eventually the music soars and swells with beats and strings. “Hey, don't scream with rage it’s vain. I’m not impressed, just exasperated again. A good slap is what you need; a good slap is what you want; take that take that, get up get up babe.” Track 6, “Panser L’inacceptable,” is another beauty of a song. It has a tropical feel to it. Love the horns here. Here’s the video:
youtube
Track 7, “The Inner Smile,” is possibly my favorite track with shifting flutes and a major jam near the end. It’s the most upbeat song on the album. “Smile at all parts of your being. Smile at the parts you’re aware of and those you’re not. Smile, smile and thank your whole body.” Next up, “La Nageuse Nue,” is a French-titled song with English lyrics this time. Laetitia gets deep with her poetry. “The dissolution beliefs; The singular world; Volunteers the ego. Social body, For a cleansing and healing, Experience. Which may turn the personality inside and out; Discloses the gold hidden within the heart.” Track 9,“ New Moon,” develops into a hypnotic blast of ambient sound. It actually came out way back in 2021. It’s one of those songs you just don’t want to end. A beautiful video directed by Laetitia and Tanya Small captures the song here:
youtube
The album closes with “Cloud 6,” a repetitive outer space choral vocal exercise complete with blasting horns. “You have a power I haven't got. I have a power you don’t have. We need all the power we can get. Our psyches, well-being, brutalised, The world renounces its liberty because it is in fear. Because it is in fear, because it is in fear.” More deep thoughts from Laetitia as we would expect. Another great one from Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier from start to finish.  Make sure to check the tour schedule beginning in March to see if she’ll be hitting your part of the world. ERIC EGGLESON

CATCHING UP ON ASK GAMES on this fine 1:18 am >:3
2, if you gave an in depth description of your story to someone who was not all the way paying attention, what would their takeaway be?
the takeaway is that i'd stop talking the second it seems sb is not paying attention lmao but i guess the cliffnotes is [standing in front of conspiracy board] hot evil girls (unkillable) also moons something is up with them moons
4, what would you say is the message, if there is one.
alright finally deigning this with a serious answer. there is no big msg no grand takeaway, just the mess of the struggle & trying to make it thru when life is cruel and unjust and sometimes there's light at the end of the tunnel and other times the despair wins. sometimes the despair is chosen and it's a self-righteous thing and at the end of the day it's about knowing what's best for yourself and the life you want to live, despite (all the despites) and sometimes it is about the catharsis of giving up when it's all too much ;-;
6, speaking of tv adaptations, why would yours get cancelled? (other than capitalism)
ive seen the twinks people wanna cast for holland shadesofmagic i am not letting irl casting be done so this never gets made because animation is too expensive (shoutout to hair, my ocs have a lot of it) w otherwise for all the same reasons down in #18
8, what inspired your world building, if anything?
moon emphasis is definitely a sailor moon worm + a lot of contamination from waverunners [german pirate series] eldritch ocean mare tenebrosum merged with some old recurring fever dream imagery for the invisible moon. also EXTREMELY early kyoani/key shows (air+kanon) for sponsoring how my visual imagination works & the tragedy/wings/dream thematics <3
10, if your story is titled, why did you choose that title?
ok fun anecdote time again in lieu of going thru all 2389 stories individually so. shadow revenge is the book i started out with and always had that title, and when conceptualizing the other two books for the trilogy i wanted to keep a similar naming scheme (starting with s + double noun) so originally they were
schattenrache (shadow revenge)
seelentraum (soul delusion, to grade 8 me, but lit. 'soul dream')
sanduhrmelodie (sandglass melody)
the last one is esp fun bc i was just groping in the dark for a title to fit the scheme & only from there worked out it was abt linn's melody nd all that biz lmao but u can see the influence that later made soul plot big before i switched to 'dream game' for the middle one bc i always LOATHED 'soul delusion' as a title f. (the german one fucks quite well tbh) so much of my finickiness is needing to make things work in 2 languages OTL
12, okay be honest. pick a favorite oc from this ocverse.
there is no competition like, at all. 🐇
14, whats your favorite part of this story/project?
interconnected story hell !!!!!!! i don't think i'll ever write anything else i'll never have a story that does not plug into the larger verse somehow (valiant attempts by my short story profs but vertebrae inventory / touching fire / let sleeping gods die all got folded back into side content ww) nothing gets my brain going like the layers upon layers of history and thrulines and transposing it into different settings or formats. i will never get tired of it. i was put on this earth to do exactly this and i hope i will get to do it for a long time still <(/)3
16, imagine the entire story takes place but in the meantime the characters all also have tumblr. what kind of (terrible) tumblr posts would happen?
answered! but as a bonus i am entirely sure that eliada would get the most mileage out of that setup until he gets doxxed by alissa. send tweet
18, what aspect of the story would get you #canceled on twitter?
glorifying self harm and suicide, teenagers fucking raw onscreen, every #linneacore moment. also cancelling myself over the existence of amasa i deserve it what the fuck
20, your ocverse just got a movie trilogy a la hunger games style. how have they horribly mangled your message/theme so that the movies are now a showcase of what the original was condemning?
OH FOR SURE none of the ugly parts or disk horse worthy content (see above) stay intact, sj is a romance now, gr*y actually dies and probably feels a little bad about what he has done, every suicide gets some noble circumstances attached to it esp faye who gets shafted into the typical time traveling savior role instead of coldhearted pragmatism for her own end. i am mad just thinking abt it thanks <3
22, you have been given unlimited funds to make two adaptations of some sort, however you cannot make any other adaptations of any other sort. which two formats do you choose?
(i am not handing any point of production over to anyone else but i am using the unlimited funds to devote myself to realizing these full-time) comics and animation! i am not interested in anything else
24, best scene you've written?
my writing is no doubt at its best when i'm writing soulless torture / rabbit hell but that is. premium tier locked patreon content; as far as fav scenes go my top three are probably
qs life pledges [THEY WIN !]
the original black swan masked ball piece. changed the course of history & my entire writing career
jumie/sky conversation after [redacted]s death. we cannot elaborate it's too much for my heart, agh!
[lies down both metaphorically and irl] goodnight thanks for playing!!
