The option to say "it doesn't matter anymore" is precious to me.

It doesn't erase the fact that it used to matter. Maybe it even still matters to some extent, based on Lingyang going "sorry you had to see me like that" prior. But it probably doesn't weigh on him as much as it used to.

Lingyang seemed to be primarily in the "beast = bad, human = good" mindset at times (especially with the whole "so you chose to act like beasts when you could be human" thing), so I like that the story allows him a slightly more nuanced point of view. It makes it feel like "beast = bad, human = good" is something he's internalized and could grow out of given time and effort.

Tho Xiangli's doesn't exactly reach his forehead and Lingyang's forehead is covered... and Yao's seems to be a thing he does when deep in thought while Lingyang's more like a self-conscious moment

I'm around 30+ hours of my first playthrough and have been loving it so far. I love the human bosses here.

My first impression of them however, I felt grotesque, they weren't those typical bosses with demonic or cool but evil designs, but as soon as I progressed through the game, I appreciated how they were designed to be like that.

They are quite fascinating especially the egg one, it was quite familiar so I looked it up and found out that it was inspired by a famous painting. But it turns out a lot of them came from that painting. I don't think I can't have a favorite one just yet since I haven't finished the game but I have loved encountering them ever since.

At this point this is going to be my most favorite turnbased jrpg but to be fair, I don't really have much experience in these games, this is actually the first Atlus game I've played and playing this game just made me wanna try their other games especially the Persona one. I have to explore more.

Finally bought Metaphor ReFantazio. Seeing all those reviews made me try the demo and got sold immediately.

This is actually the first game I've ever bought this year.
