I watched Disney's Wish back in August of 2024 and I don't like the movie. I've seen alot of rewrites of the movie like this one animation of Starboy being Asha's grandfather, which I really like. However, everyone prefers Starboy to be Asha's love interest instead and I can see why. Even though I'm late, this rewrite is called wuish and it's about a cursed prince and refugee.

One midnight in the kingdom of rosas, a ball of blue light trails up to the sky and forms a new star in the night. Two decades pass and hidden in the dark forest is a village of refugees. Below a willow tree, the new star in the sky falls down to Asha and helps her on her journey of defeating the king and queen. Asha and Starboy are separated by a curse and the story ends with a tragic fate of the two. The rewritten song gives missing context and details in the story.

The dash and two unconnected parts of the S signifies that Starboy and Asha are starcrossed.

I think its dope that we have ppl like Jay Park, Joe Flizzow n all, sureeee. I appreciate them, n I think theyre cool.

But im sure tht each of these countries w asian rappers have their own thing from their own countries n cultures, that theyre overlooking n substituting for, ya know?

Values thats been passed down hundreds of years, by the sages from each culture, carefully constructed with the peoples history and IDENTITY. Is that not valuable to preserve n advertise?

Its becoming too homogenous now, thats all.

Im not saying that adopting an angry tone n gangsta aspirations is unwarranted. Life is a bitch for everybody, its a struggle, that is facts.

Tapi tu la kalau baca how organized crimes moved from one ethnic to another in US, wuish. Jadi lein la bila paham why n how the government was instrumental in tht. How drugs started getting pushed into poor neighborhoods, n every other social problems that follow.
