I watched Disney's Wish back in August of 2024 and I don't like the movie. I've seen alot of rewrites of the movie like this one animation of Starboy being Asha's grandfather, which I really like. However, everyone prefers Starboy to be Asha's love interest instead and I can see why. Even though I'm late, this rewrite is called wuish and it's about a cursed prince and refugee.

Character Names:

Earendel Rian of the Kingdom of Rosas (Starboy)

Asha

Valentino and other characters are here but I'm not gonna list them

One midnight in the kingdom of rosas, a ball of blue light trails up to the sky and forms a new star in the night. Two decades pass and hidden in the dark forest is a village of refugees. Below a willow tree, the new star in the sky falls down to Asha and helps her on her journey of defeating the king and queen. Asha and Starboy are separated by a curse and the story ends with a tragic fate of the two. The rewritten song gives missing context and details in the story.

The dash and two unconnected parts of the S signifies that Starboy and Asha are starcrossed.

Prologue,

Starboy, or Earendel Rian of the Kingdom of Rosas, is banished to the sky by his parents for trying to expose their wickedness. His punishment? Cursed as a star in a deep sleep like state (1).

This is a concept art I made when I was still rewriting wish.
