Started this while this year's annual government shutdown scare was still pending. I'm a federal employee irl (can I even say that here? Lmao) so it's always a hot mess at the end of the fiscal year.

WTTT as A/B/O

Since @aceasadhd posted theirs, I now have a green light to post this.

Warnings for FlouiGov (Florida/Louisiana/Gov, my beloved) as A/B/O because no, I will Not Shut Up about them.

My own view is states can be Beta, but that does not imply asexuality unless you want it to. Moreso, they just can't have kids (which is probably for the best, have you seen these nerds?)

Florida is an Omega, while Loui and Gov are both alphas.

As they are quasi-immortals, their cycles are much longer, with heats/ruts appearing maybe once every 9-15 years.

This, of course, means the heats/ruts themselves are, on average, a month long.

Take that how you will.

There's also a note in there somewhere about how a heat/rut might start/end generations like a huge-country wide heat/rut might have triggered the Baby Boom, but idkkkk

(the bigger the population, the worse the heat/rut)

this all to say, the possibility of Gov, our wet sock man himself, doesn't normally have a partner to help him through ruts. Florida and Loui have insatiable needs for each other, decide to throw the poor government a bone, and see if he can fix their issues.

Random thought that appeared in my head but-

Florida’s siblings managed to figure out he had a crush on both Louisiana and Gov before he told them he did. Both two completely different times but it was the same method.

They figured out he liked Loui when at maybe their second or third meeting Loui was talking about some guy he found annoying and without hesitation Florida said “I could kill him for you.” No joking tone. No smile. Just completely deadpan and serious. His siblings all instantly looked at him with wide eyes before all of them yelled “HIM?!” His siblings questioned him so much after the meeting.

They figured out he liked Gov at a more recent meeting. He was explaining something a new politician wanted to do but there was nervousness in his voice. Again, without hesitating, Florida said “do you want me to fight him for you?” And again, his siblings all looked at him shocked, while Loui was laughing.

Florida only offers violence towards hated people to people he deeply cares about. So his siblings and his partners. That’s how his siblings knew he liked Loui and Gov.

Idk this is just a crack headcanon I have but it seems so in character for him lol
