I went to the Haunting of Night Vale show last night and it was amazing!!

Fantastic performance, amazing energy, hilarious comedy, thrilling story!

And their outfits were amazing! (Excuse the grainy pics, I wanted to focus on the show since it was so good!)

And the opener/weather Danny Schmidt was very nice! Played some creative songs!

Also: while WTNV is having its moment, I just wanted to say that I have a ticket to the liveshow on March 1st in Virginia Beach that I can’t make it to, and I would be 100% willing to do an even exchange with someone for it

This is my seat, it’s really really close to the stage, so I would feel really bad if no one was able to attend

I went to see the wtnv tour in Brighton this October and I wanted to share my favourite part of the show

As the show started Jeffery Cranor came on stage. I was so in awe of the fact that I had travelled all the way to England to watch the show and that I was finally going to see the faces of the people I've been listening to for five years, that for a second I forgot this was a live performance and not recorded.

This must have been the case for everyone in the audience, because when Jeffrey ran in to make his big entrance all excited no one cheered, or clapped, or made a noise.

The whole theater was silent.

A worried expression came over Jeffrey's face. I could not tell what he was thinking, but if I were him I know I would be freaking out internally.

Finally, after a few seconds that felt like an eternity the audience reacted, like we had all broken free from the spell that made us silent, and we cheered and clapped and shouted for longer than usual (probably to compensate for the fact that we had left our beloved mr. Cranor standing in front of the microphone in an awkwardly silent theater)

As we cheered his expression changed. He knew this was going to be a good show, and it was.

He started introducing himself and I teared up because I could not believe that I finally came to see the tour like I had been dreaming for all these years.

My second favorite moment was when I was in the bathroom before the show washing my hands and a woman wearing a glow cloud shirt came out of a stall. I looked at her shirt, casually said "all hail the glow cloud!", like I was greeting an old neighbor. She casually responded "All hail!" and went on her way and I thought "wow... is this what it feels like to be in a cult?"

Just heard that Welcome to Night Vale is doing another live-show between this and next year! Hopefully they will come to Europe again, because last year was my first time and I had a blast and would love to make it a tradition.

I know they are not going to come to Spain, but I don´t mind using them as an excuse to travel a bit through Europe.

2023 we finished touring the haunting of night vale that we started right before the pandemic in March 2020. Finally closing a chapter after 3 years so we could move forward, rehearse and produce a new show! Touring The Attic has been exciting and we can’t wait for more in 2024 ! We head back on tour Jan 9 and we hope to see y’all on the road!!

The show was so so sick!! I cannot reveal details or show any photos of cecil's photos because jeffery said not to record videos so everyone could experience it so I'm assuming it's best to keep it on the dl (and yes ik I am bad at photography but uts about my joy okay)

Wish I went to the stage door but next time ^^

trying to sell my intact copy of It Devours! signed by Finknor in 2017 because my mom doesn’t want it in the house anymore and thriftbooks says it’s worth $0.86 which I know has nothing to do with the current state of Night Vale and people’s general opinion but it’s a little funny that the resale price dropped so low after everything that’s happened

anyway I don’t know where to sell signed books so if you wanna help a fella out give me suggestions

I wanted to put these pictures next to each other to compare the size of the cast from the first WTNV show I went to and the latest WTNV show I went to but then I realized these photos were taken almost exactly 10 years apart and I turned to a pile of dust immediately. My ghost is typing this.

Hey wtnv friends I’m autistic and I can’t read tone - I tend to take words at face value - was it very clear from the latest ep that Cecil is mad at Carlos? If I hadn’t seen posts about it before listening I would have taken it at face value that he wasn’t mad, but as I said I can’t really pick up on subtext
