Edward Cullen-Timothee Chalamet

Kinda obvious, non? Whenever I read the book, I actually imagine Edward more like this. He has the ethereal, otherworldly look. His face also would fit into almost any time period. However, he does look like he would stalk a girl, watch her sleep and all that shit. Rat-beauty at its peak.

Bella Swan-Elle Fanning

This one I have a hard time explaining. Thing is, she is the epitome of HUMAN beauty. She looks like her laugh is loud, her skin is warm and soft and she especially looks like she easily blushes. Next to that, I have never seen her in dark hair, and I’m simply dying to experience it.

Jacob Black-Jacob Elordi

Look at him, sweetest fucking smile, which is something that is mentioned a lot in the books. Something about him gives me Golden Retriever vibes. He could totally body both the short and long hair.

Alice Cullen-Anya Taylor Joy

What makes Anya perfect for this character is her elfishness. In the books, it’s also a big thing how petite Alice is, so Anya would fit, since she’s quite skinny. With how pale she is, she would naturally look like a vampire with black hair.

Rosalie Hale-Lily Rose Depp

In the books Rosalie is described as the embodiment of beauty, which Lily fits. She also has the hot mean girl vibe that Rosalie actually needs. In addition: I want to see her kill a man. :)

Jasper Hale-Finn Wolfhard

Similar vibe to Edward/Timothee, but somehow more ominous, no idea how to explain it. Would probably give him very dark blonde, and wavy, not fully cur;y hair, because curly hair makes him look to sweet and approachable.

Emett Cullen-KJ Apa

Had a very hard time with this one and had to google “masculine young actors”. He looks stupid, simple-minded, in a friendly and non-threatening way. But dear god I will not have him a hideous ginger.

Carlisle Cullen-Christian Bale

I doubt he would take such a trivial role, but a girl can dream. Nowadays, he does look like a sweet father and a trustworthy doctor. He also has the necessary DILFishness.

Esme Cullen-Julia Roberts

She. Looks. So. Sweet. Just such a warm-hearted, maternal look. I definitely need to see her with Christian Bale.

Just need to vent and I think you’ll get it best but very tired of Instagram twilight where every month they pick a random line (where have you been loca, it’s la push baby, it’s the fluorescents ETC) and beat it to absolute death in every imaginable way to the point of shirts, hoodies, phone cases, literally any merch you can think of. The other half of twilight insta is tumblr screenshots it just makes me so tired and it’s all I’m recommended now. I miss the golden days of the Renaissance;-;

legit can’t even count the amount of WTHHYBL things i’ve seen in the past month and i’m OVER IT like we are so funny and we have done these jokes but we do it once and then move to the next one - twilight renaissance anywhere other than tumblr is annoying

So...

I'm going to sell some books (because I need the money), so I'm taking the opportunity to reread New Moon.

And the truth is, sometimes it amazes me that something like Twilight could have been a worldwide phenomenon.

Edward Cullen is toxic. The only character I like is Charlie and (FOR NOW) Jacob.

I don't know if it's because I'm already 27 years old and, somehow, I've matured.

But I've also laughed, because I don't remember many of the events that take place (despite having read this book and seen the movie)

Edit: oh, and I also expected to read "WTHHYBL", but it didn't.
