it's been a hot minute since i posted a moodboard and in that time i read "welcome to downton, mr shelby" by @notyour-valentine. i really fell in love with charlotte so i made a moodboard for our youngest Crawley sister

did i go overboard with the quotes? perhaps. im trying a new style and its honestly so much fun to find quotes that fit the character you are making it for.

i love the series and recommend it to any downton or peaky blinders fans (or if you are a fan of both as i am). i rarely read crossover work as a personal preference but this series has turned my world upside down. i am not the same person i was before. i went out and bought gloves after binge reading it to live out my lady charlotte life of having some guys aunt taking them off inexplicably before secretly giving me a palm reading

The last chapter of @notyour-valentine's Welcome to Downton series ejected me from my seat and throw me to my desk to make a Tommy moodboard. It has some parallels with Charlotte's moodboard for funsies.

Things seem as though they are about to really kick off (Valentine's slowburn plots and relationships are chef's kiss) so i thought to have both of our main characters have moodboards centred more on their person and less on the plot before it thickens.

Somehow I spend each chapter screaming at Tommy to leave Charlotte alone and then collapse in excitement when he so much as breathes in her presence (still recovering from that last chapter's ending oh god)

This process also taught me how hard it is to find photos of debutante court presentations in 1919 that look specifically like how you want them to. Oh and sorry to the Lady whose face I artistically covered with a blood drop
