#mine#d&d#dungeons and dragons#curse of strahd#half-orc#barbarian#d&d character#werewolf#loup-garou#uuhhh struggling because I never tag this much but I'm actually proud of this one so don't mind if people see it for once#dnd#id in alt text#SO many things to say about this one#it was a feel better project because I was having a garbage week and those always turn out good#something something escapism something something throwing my frustration somewhere productive#but I really like how this turned out and I'm glad I decided at some point to be just#completely unapologetically self indulgent and cringey and have as much fun as possible with d&d art#y'all are just lucky I couldn't settle on an mcr lyric to use as a caption#much progress made here compared to the 87 other darkly lit full body character portraits I've done lately#wrt contrast and color choice and texture (all things I tend to struggle with. especially contrast)#I simply have a thing for image histograms more bottom-heavy than squidward after he ate all the krabby patties#and tend to make things very monochromatic because picking colors is hard. but that red sky and red shadow came out just chef's kiss#also it has a rEAL BACKGROUND WOW I never do that
